Have always had great food and service here eating in Restaurant or take out. My favorite is their Pineapple Chicken. Always hot, tasty and good sized portions. I always order quarts instead of lunch specials and bring it home that night and my family enjoys it too.
This place has garbage food. Overpriced and I found a hair in my chicken chow mein 2 times. Third time found a dead fly in my dumplings. Health department needs to inspect this place. The are rude if you reproach them on the foreign objects in the food. Worst Chinese food ever.
This place is truely a hit or a miss. Its usually a hit when its super busy usually during dinner hours. The best food on the menu is their soup specials when you eat in. It is served in a huge bowl and I usually get the shrimp dumpling soup with the thin noodles, cabbage pieces, bits of pork, and a shrimp egg roll on the side.Sometimes it is spectacular and othertimes it is just reliable. For the prices $$ they charge it should always be spectacular being it is one of the more expensive Asian Cuisine resteraunts.But on a positive note try the soup !! I gave a 3 star because the the service can be rude sometimes and the prices are pretty high.
The food stinks period. I’ve gotten sick three times getting take out dinner. The delivery guy is a rude scumbag that overcharges you at the door. The American staff does not know how to take an order and Chinese staff is hostile and condescending over the phone. He quality of service has deteriorated over time here.

Im done with this place. I have to find a new Chinese restaurant. They use to be good but now they suck. Last 3-5 orders of Gen Tsos chicken were dry both because the sauce on it was watery (not sticky or thick enough to stick to the chicken) and the chicken itself was hard and dry. Sad to see such a good place go down hill.
This restaurant has excellent food with some creative choices that keep me ordering. We really only do takeout from here. The atmosphere inside is not conducive to a quiet lingered over meal. It’s more like a cafeteria, mostly used for takeout or a quick stop when you’re out and about. I’m only rating them on food.They have Vietnamese, Thai and my old fave Chinese food. When I ask for spicy it’s 🌶! When I say no onions no garlic I know I’m safe and they’ll still make it delicious. Their panang curry is so delish! Also the drunken noodles and chow fun and sautéed udon noodles. My husband loves their spare ribs and shrimp with veggies.It’s my second favorite place for takeout, and that’s only because they don’t have sushi.

Used to be really good. The boneless ribs were old and dry. Will not order from them again. Have to find a new place. Seems like when they first open they are good, then slowly go downhill.
Just lost a regular customer after they raised their prices a lot. (Other places a pint is usually $5-6+, their new price is $8.50 a pint & $16.50 for a quart.) I just ordered sesame chicken ($17.50 where other places are $11.50), plus rice, egg roll & soup. The bill came to $37.50! For takeout! Time to find a new place.

Really good Asian Cusine, and good size portions. Relaxed dining area if you want to eat in. A little pricey, but comparable to the other restaurants. Try the appricot sticky rice as a desert.
First time trying this place. Husband is raving over it. Its delicious food and good staff are all wonderful. We will eat here from now on. A+ from us !!
Im honestly impressed with this place. I didnt expect much when I ordered my dish. It looks like an ordinary Asian restaurant in a shopping center. I ordered the Shrimp Terriyaki Bento Box and it was great.

Came here with few friends, its in a big plaza, easy parking, food is well cooked. I like the environment. Waiters are busy but friendly. Im coming back again for sure!

Very good place for chinese food. There wonton is one of the best in staten island, not to mention their pan Asian dishes like pad thai, Yaki udon is also really good. There price is high though.
DELIVERY SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS OF CSI! Called to place an order for delivery and the employee told us we could not get it delivered because we are students and they only deliver to faculty! They have great food but lose 2 stars for inconvenience! [minus 1 more, Im still hungry] =(

2022-05-15Food is pricey but worth it! We order about once a week and the food is always hot, fresh, and made the way we ordered it. Delivery time is usually exactly what they tell you, occasionally it even comes earlier than expected. Love this place, only reason for the missing star is the price.

2022-07-07Last two times I ordered a Shrimp dish shrimp with broccoli and shrimp with mixed vegetables. The shrimp were all no good. Soon as you put them in your mouth they went to mush. They should not be selling dishes with bad shrimp. This happened the last two orders.

2019-01-25Past 2 orders have been disappointing. when they first opened we tried them and were not thrilled with the food. its been a few years so in the past few mths we decided to try them again. we were pleasantly surprised so we started using them every order.tonights order tasted off...the egg rolls were kinda sweet, and the chicken (which normally is not spicy) was spicy. it was also a bit chewy.the last order the chicken was fine but the rice was old or something...definitely did not taste good at all.so i guess our search for a good Chinese restaurant continues...

2016-04-20Great tasting food, fast and convenient. Expensive, but worth it. The noodle soups are delicious (Roast Pork with Mei Fun noodle soup is THE BEST), and I always crave their vegetable spring rolls. Bathrooms are clean, decor could serve better as a late-night-after-hours club and/or performance venue. They should really consider it.

2018-06-10I live Chinese and really many of the Asian foods. But in staten island there is a massive problem that most of them suck there are other worse words I can use. A bunch of places I tried cant even make the fried rice properly. But Empire east is very good. I tried this place a few times and every item was very good. The sauce was correct the rice and noodles tasted right. This place is definitely worth a visit if you like good Chinese food. They get it right. And this location seems new and very clean with nice decor. And the prices arent to much more than others but at least their food taste good.
