I couldnt recommend this place enough. Dean is a class guy and worked with me on a great deal on a Santa Cruz Limited (Great truck!!) Noah the sales rep I worked with was great as well. They were very courteous and just really great to work with. They did their best to get me into my new car as quick as they good. Thanks guys, I appreciate it!!
My husband and I just purchased a car today with the help of the amazing Dasha and had a great experience off the recommendation of my purchased who leased here about 5 years ago and only had wonderful things to say. As a young family, we always worry about being pressured into large purchases and not once did we feel like we were being “sold”. Highly recommend coming here for your car needs and asking for Dasha for your appointment. Also, the inventory was great and the site was very helpful for us as we prepped for our visit. Jaimie in Finance was also amazing , kind and VERY helpful. 10/10 would recommend going forward. The least stressful car purchasing experience by far.
I am very pleased with the service at Hyundai of NR all thanks to Danielle, one of the best costumer service reps I have ever dealt with. Since the first time I took my car for servicing, she kept me informed of the progress of my car via text and she even helpd me expedite my claim so I could take my car fast (due to a last minute emergency). Now, Danielle is helping me with an issue that came up after my car was service there and she is making it right. Thats the only reason this review is 5 stars and not one. Lets see if her team helps making it right.
Client centered, professional, committed and honest. Words may not do enough justice to the excellence of staff at Hyundai New Rochelle! From prospecting to closing a deal on my new car everybody from reception to my primary sales agent - Erik Nava- to finance and sales (Sully) was great in responding in a timely and thoughtful manner to help me get the car.
Mr. Chet Lee was very courteous. He went to check out the problem with my trunk. Unfortunately it opened a little with the key but by the time Mr Lee checked it out it didnt do that anymore. Still he was polite. He let me know that my trunk was still under warranty and offered to see if I was still entitled to a free oil change. He gave me an early appointment for Wednesday because I told him I would be waiting. So far I recommend service department. Space is rather tight. Sort of scary but the gentleman backed my car out without a scratch. Hopefully I can come back and give repair a good review. Went back for my repair service. I sat there from 8am to 2pm. In that time I saw Chet and his coworker interact with the customers. They were polite, helpful and took the time to explain what needed to be done. I had the opportunity to speak to customers who had been there before and they were very happy with the service. There was also a young lady whose name is Tiffany for her friendly and informative teller. I was going to pay by credit card and she told me that there would be a 3% surcharge. I paid in cash and a mix up happened. I called her the next day to rectify and she was so sweet and understanding. My trunk works. So far so good. Hope it lasts. Nothing but good things to say. Social distancing in showroom.
I had an amazing experience at this dealership! Jesenia, the sales consultant, and Sully, the finance manager, were both very thorough in their explanations of everything that the car included and I had a clear understanding of all of the cars features before I left. There was no question left unanswered and they were both very patient. I felt very valued as a customer and I appreciate everything that they did to make my experience the best it could possibly be. Will definitely be coming back!
Stopped by the other day, wasn’t really sure what car I really wanted but my salesperson Micheal really helped inform me about all the variety of vehicles. The manager Sam & Director Jaime were very supportive as well, they treated me and welcomed me with respect and confidence. Of course I ended up buying a car the same day, & I loved every step of it!
I leased a new 2022 Honda HR-V AWD worth 29k, with 10k miles a year and 2k down (including taxes) for 295 a month. This dealer was trying to sell me similar car worth 26k, 10k miles, with 5k down for 350 a month!! Unacceptable!! Please be careful going to this place. Don’t give your money away. THIS PLACE TRIES TO RIP YOU OFF.
Everyone was so nice and very helpful. Cameron was there with me every step of the way and helped me with all my issues and concerns I had. Dean the general manager was super helpful as well to make sure everyone was doing well. They take weeks or close to a month for an appointment. And there was a day I came to this place an appointment and they told me that I couldnt be seen the day of my appointment because of something with the business. This is crazy like I need my car for work. Like I live in the Bronx and the other place is literally the same. For Hyundai being one of the biggest companies Id expect top notch service. I think its time to go with someone else soon..
The shortest oil change i have ever had. I used to be a Honda customer. The wait time would be 3+ hours! Hopefully my future oil changes would be just as short as the one i had. Matthew Nattier (hopefully i spelled it correctly). Helped me with any questions i had, he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Everyone was welcoming and made sure the customer came first. Very pleased so far.

Expect the unexpected at this service department! And the expectation is that you will leave paying an amount higher than what you were quoted. During a recent visit to the service department for an oil change I was shortly informed I needed an air filter replacement and cleaning. I was then informed by Angelica the total would be $150 from the initial $80. I then signed off on the agreed upon price of $150. However, when checking out my bill jumped from a $150 to $252. When asked for explanation behind the price increase, Katelyn became frustrated when explaining and had another colleague provide reasoning. Overall, Im displeased as a first time client. I have never been to a Hyundai servicer that doesnt provide a detailed estimate with the cost of labor and parts. This visit was unsatisfactory and could have been handled in a more gracious manner. I recommended that if you do plan to have your car service here ask for a detailed estimate or go elsewhere.

We were very happy with our whole buying experience at New Rochelle Hyundai. We had been car shopping for several months prior and were starting to become very disheartened by the car-buying process in light of the current microchip shortage. But then we went to New Rochelle Hyundai and met Erik Nava. He showed us a car we loved and was very transparent with us about pricing and getting a car delivered to the dealership. We placed a hold on the car and while waiting, he was excellent at communicating with us and answering our questions. When Erik wasn’t available, the rest of the team were very professional and helpful. When the car arrived, Jaime helped us through all the paperwork as quickly as possible and was also very helpful. Were very appreciative of the service we received and highly recommend this dealership.

Mike Sciortino from sales & Jamie from finance were great. They went above and beyond to make sure I had an extended warranty even with the tight budget I presented to them. Efficient and thorough. With the help of them I am driving off the lot with the best deals and coverage for my budget. Be sure to ask for Mike if your looking for a new or used quality car.
I would just like to thank Matthew Nattier for his excellent customer service. I took my car there because recently I had been having starting issues. One mechanic told me to have them replace the starter relay or possibly the starter. But when I got there, Matthew took one look under my hood and found the problem to be my battery terminal. He had one of his mechanics come down and tighten it, and sent me on my way. He remarked your safety is my number one concern. It was just nice and reassuring to have someone come out, assess the issue quickly and not try to upsell me on unneeded repairs. This is the dealership to come to. Never go to the White plains Hyundai dealership unless you want to be treated like trash. Take your car to the New Rochelle Hyundai dealership and know that you will be respected and your car will be fixed correctly.
The customer service here is simply outstanding. A sudden need to get a new car in the current market was a daunting prospect, but Vanessa (my sales rep) not only found me what I was looking for, but along with Mike, Jessica, and the dealerships GM, Dean, helped navigate a number of unique logistical difficulties with the kind of customer service thats all too hard to find these days. This team will have my business for a long time to come.
The MOST INCREDIBLE car dealership that I have ever visited. The BEST experience with the sweetest staff. Vanessa was so kind, caring, attentive and understanding. The sales manager Michael as well as Jessica in the finance department were beyond wonderful. They all put the care of the customer first and go above and beyond to help suit your needs to the best of there abilities. They will work with you and truly listen and hear your comments, questions and concerns. Even after your purchase they stay in touch to make sure you not only are satisfied with your vehicle but to check on your wellbeing as well. The atmosphere of this hyundai is so warm and comforting. They really make you feel safe, comfortable and like youre part of a big happy family. Anyone who needs a car I HIGHLY recommend this hyundai dealership. Service team was both Friendly and Professional. Received a free oil change and tire rotation for a mixup from last visit. Work was done in a timely manner and took less time than first believed, even though Service area was very busy. All and All happy with young lady who helped me at desk.
I called in advance to set up a test-drive for two vehicles, a Palisade and a Santa Fe. Then I drove a half hour to get there, and was told that they had neither available for a test-drive. The salesperson I spoke to said he would contact me with an alternate date and never got back to me. There are supply chain issues right now, but the person answering their phone is clearly just telling everyone who calls to come on in for a test drive -- no appointment necessary. Went to look at a used the other day. I did not like that they where trying to charge me a 650$ fee. I was told this was from corporate. This sounded odd, to me. A call was made to corporate they confirm they had no mandatory fee I do not appreciate being lied to. Additionally there was a 650$ loan app fee, thought this was high but understandable how ever over 2000$ for a recondition fee does sound excessive to me. Other vehicles I have purchased in the past this was include in the price. It can be understood to have breaks and other maintenance items replaced but to cost that much does not add up to me, in the end it was going to cost over 20,000 for a car thats over 7 years old. A 2 or 3 year lease of a different class vehicle would be a much better vale and not be any where this coast would be. I know the market is crazy right now but for another $8,000 I could buy a brand new car. Its just unprofessional and bad customer service to lie customers well potential customers
From the very beginning to the very end Erik Nava was very knowledgeable, friendly and dedicated. In September of 2021 I went into the dealership to start the process of financing my 2018 Sonata as the lease was coming to an end. Erik assisted me with the information and process which was stress free. This past January my boyfriend and I went back to the dealership because I was thinking of purchasing my next vehicle since I was going to give the Sonata to my daughter. I made sure to call and ask for Erik since I have had a positive previous experience. With Eriks assistance, patience, and professionalism (with the 1000 questions we asked) my boyfriend and I both left purchasing a vehicle each. He made us both very comfortable about our final purchases and we feel he has positively surpassed his duties as a salesperson for New Rochelle Hyundai. My boyfriend and I have recommended Erik and this dealership to a few friends. We look forward to working with Erik Nava this coming June when my stepson is ready to purchase his new car.

I highly recommend this place, if youre looking to buy Hyundai or Genesis. I walked in as an informed buyer and, leaving aside some early misunderstanding, had an ideal car buying experience - a courteous and professional sales team (Jaime and Jesesnia) who didnt try to force anything I didnt want on me and instead respected my intelligence and my wishes. I got a straightforward deal that I wanted at a price that told me, whats the point of haggling now? For sure, my first stop next time I shop for a car.

Jose Vargas is a great salesman. He will try to meet your price and find ways to find what you want in monthly payments/down payments. He showed a lot of features to cars and how they compare to other vehicles Jamie the financing manager was great as he explained everything in detail about the contract and every other questions regarding payments and pricing.
Very disappointed, spoke to one individual on the phone about a specific car that I wanted and he told me to come in on a certain day and ask for him, when I came in that day not only was he off that day, the car was also sold. Wouldn’t care for it if the dealership was down the street from me but I drove almost 2 hours to get there. Once we got there we had no choice but to look at other cars, found an alternate car that I could settle for and when asked for the price, it was listed $7000 dollars above the online price. For example (the car is listed $30,000 online, once you get there they’ll tell you the car is $37,000 and they only have those beautiful prices online to get people through the door) such a shady tactic to get people through the door. Remind you when I spoke on the phone I specifically ask the individual if the pricing online the same as in store and he told me yes. Overall bad experience I’d take my money to another dealership.
Travelled two hours to look at a Sante Fe over the Memorial Day Holiday, wasn’t sure about purchasing from Empire but between Michael the salesperson and Jamie in financing we where able to hash out a great deal on a well maintained CPO. Highly recommend the both of them, very professional, understanding and easy to deal with. No high pressure sales tactics and the willingness to sit down and make a mutually agreeable deal makes Empire Hyundai a win-win all around.

Stepped me through the process, and was able to give me a great APR on my vehicle. From beginning to end, it was a great experience.
We stopped into New Rochelle Hyundai, to look at a Hyundai.the first sales person i saw was a gentleman named Demond. He was very well spoken and was not the typical car salesman that i had been dealing with in other auto dealers. He went out of his way to take us (my wife and i)to another storage lot to show me the car I was looking for.He was very pleasant and said it as it was, no baloney, no hard sell.when we got back to the showroom, we of course looked at the other cars. A beautiful green Genesis caught my wifes eye, and we ended up with a better more expensive car, and the whole process was extremely pleasant. we leased the car on the spot.We then Met Sully in finance, also a physical fitness instructor, who walked us casually through the leasing process.They even stored the car I came in with, until I could get back to pick it up.I recommend them highly and i am not related:)
I called and was assured the car i wanted to see was there and that there were several coming in to buy the next day. So I rented a car, drove 1.5 hours and when I got there was informed that they had nothing for me to see, actually and that new cars were coming in a few weeks. wasted $100+ and an afternoon. I didnt even get an apology from Trisha who told me to come and see the model on display.
NR Hyundai staff are pleasant to deal with. I initially went to Central Ave Hyundai for service and they would NOT honor the free maintenance (for the 1st 3 yrs or 30k mi) that was given when I leased in 2020. I also leased from NR Hyundai because they offered better rates than Central Avenue. I will continue to go to NR Hyundai for all my car service needs despite the fact that it’s a bit far from my home.
I was told I can get credit towards a car payment if I refer someone to their dealership, WHICH I DID and REGRET! My sister in law purchased a car from them, and now they are saying thats just something they do to get people in the door, pretty much admitting the sleaziness of it all......Better than central ave but still filled with sleazy salesmen trying to get as much as they can out of you. Be forewarned--you will have to constantly be in defense mode. This ruined my car shopping experience even before this incentive with anxiety and stress.
So I’m most definitely not the type of person who takes the time to write reviews, however I have to make the time for this one. I needed a car for my son and I that would be reliable and last for a long time, working with an annoyingly low income and the financial responsibilities of a single parent. The employees at Empire Hyundai of New Rochelle spent half a day working the numbers and finding a way to make sure that my son and I drove home in THE car I came for. Not just a car that would function, but the actual car that was right for my family. For a while it really seemed like it wasn’t going to work out and that I was going home in an Uber, as I had come in…. However, between Michael, Mike Sciortino and Sully, they were able to make the impossible happen and I left with the car I came in for, at a rate that I could actually manage. It legitimately almost went so very very wrong, and these exceptional people truly stepped up for me and my son. I’m so grateful and I am absolutely planning on continuing my services with them. They are lovely people who care about the people they help. A thousand stars to these three individuals who helped me be able to provide a better and safer life for my son. 10/10 recommend.
Just recently got my FIRST car from this dealership! I saw the car online and went in person to check it out, they let us test drive it there are very helpful. Erick Nava who was my sales representative he was very helpful, friendly and very patient professional. Jamie the finance person was specifically outstanding in providing me with the best financing. He keep trying until he finds you the best rates possible. They were very easy to work with and they got me a very good deal and made sure everything was good before I took the car home. Inquired about a vehicle and asked twice regarding its list price and ignored. Upon arriving and finding out a $5,000 adjusted market price on-top of MSRP wasting an hour of my day between traveling and sitting down. At-least my sales person was courteous. Shouldnt have wasted my time traveling for the vehicle after not getting the price before hand anyway.
I came into look at a brand new genesis and I got the best deal in the world from jesenia. She was courteous and knowledgeable and served me with a smile. The part that I was most worried about was the finance guys l. And when I tell you they were clear concise and got me outta there in no time you wouldn’t believe me. BEST DEALER EVER!!!!!! My husband and I were first time buyers, and we had done lots of research before negotiating our dream vehicle. We went through other dealers who would asks first for the money, and ended up messing up our plans, as they were not really there to helps us. But as soon as we sat down with Jesenia and Jaime from New Rochelle Hyundai, we saw the difference. These are true professionals; they showed real numbers and they were patient to answer all of our questions. I must say about Jesenia, who is a Sales Rep, that she has the most bubbly and lovely personality, and really makes you feel like you are at home. Don’t bother coming here to buy a car. Jaihrell worked with me and he didn’t know anything about the car. Whenever I texted him for help he would never respond. Then when working with the manager she kept getting annoyed that I didn’t know the answers to her questions that her employees should have known or told her. To top it off, they didn’t send me my plates or registration for one year. First they blamed the DMV and then they blamed me saying I should have known I needed to get the emissions done when they told me I didn’t need to do anything. Not worth the time and they also lie on their ADs.

Updating with experience based on note from dealer:I called ahead asking to test drive a GV70 and was given an appointment as such. I also asked if there was stock of the car and they confirmed there was. Thirty mins before the appointment, got a call to confirm that i would be on time. I get to the dealership and find that there was no formal appointment set up... it took them 15 mins to get connected with a sales person, who proceeded to tell me that there were no GV70s in stock citing poor communication between the floor and people making the appointments. Waste of time all around.
My partner and I put $500 deposits on not one but TWO vehicles at this dealership and they sold BOTH of them right out from under us. We had vin numbers and everything. We are getting our deposits back, but they aren’t able to get us the vehicles we want, nor do they even seem interested in making things right. The manager didn’t even want to talk to me, I was told to email him because he was too busy to talk. I did that, and haven’t received a response.
FRAUD , SCAMMERS, BAIT N SWITCH, avoid at all costs!!!! They tell you to leave $5000 down - when you say its too much, they give you a lower deal with everything (taxes, title dmv fees etc. ) included. When you go to sign the final lease paperwork - its back to the $5000 down!!!!Absolutely horrendous. Worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership.
Very unprofessional people, nobody came to the lot to greet or help me and my family. when my boyfriend went Inside the building and asked for help nobody came outside to help we had to go inside the building once again. A lady came and helped. THE PRICES YOU SEE ON THE INTERNET IS NOT WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO SAY IN PERSON. They will add a extra 5-7 thousand to the price. Like the lady sales person said “ they put that price to make you want to come in but it’s not really the actual price.” Not to mention we drove a hour from the city and one of the cars the managers said he would hold for us to see was also sold by the time we went in to see it. AGAIN VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Also no Parking; you have to park on the streets good luck finding parking in that area by the way and then walk to the dealership. Very terrible experience.
Although i was pleased with your sales rep. I never gave your dealership five stars. I gave you one star. The only reason you got that was because i could give a zero star rating. I was charged more than twice the price the deal said i would pay. Not only did you not honor the online ad, you changed the original rating i gave, and you dont show my entire review. YOU ARE VERY DECEPTIVE. NO ONE SHOULD TRUST THE PEOPLE IN YOUR FINANCE DEPT..... Your sales rep. was very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. She is the only reason i would even consider returning. I ended up paying much more than your website said i would. BATE AND SWITCH IS AGAINST THE LAW.

Great experience! Sully was the perfect salesperson! Understanding, upbeat, knowledgeable and capable with an amazing personality. Jamie the finance manager was professional clear and honest. He sincerely wanted to make this work for both of us. Ask for them both you wont regret it. I read many horror stories about dealerships but these guys were totally legit. Leaving very happy!!!!
My wife and I recently bought a car from Hyuandi New Rochelle and had THE BEST experience possible. Starting with our AMAZING sales rep Jose Vargas who was incredibly patient with our 100+ questions, knowledgeable about every option and a real advocate for the financial “dance” every purchase entails. What a wonderful place. The instant I walked through the door, I knew I was going to have a great experience. The staff is so friendly. Vanessa worked with me and showed me the car I came in to see, and it took the whole of five minutes for me to decide I wanted it. To add on to this, the dealership did maintenance to ensure the vehicle was in tip-top shape. Although it was stated to take a few days, I was contacted the next day informing me that I could go and pick up my car, which I did. The financing process was painless, and although it took a while, the financing manager worked along with the sales manager Rob to ensure that I would get both a good rate and the vehicle of my dreams. If I could give this place 10 stars I would, it is truly a gem, and completely changes inherent perceptions of what used car sales is like. Thank you so much for the Audi A6!

Our first service experience with Matthew Nattier on our leased car was as superb as when we first got the car from Vince Weldon. Matt was knowledgeable, attentive and super quick, esp on a busy holiday week. Steve the service manager, very rude individual. Chet who use to work in service was the only one giving me updates after he quit never heard from them again. Overall horrible customer service. My car sat there for 8 months. Please do not buy a Hyundai, go with Honda trust me. Check their BBB rating too its horrible. If something goes wrong they wont help, this dealership and Hyundai Corp too.
This review is for both the buying experience and the servicing department. I bought my 2019 Kona at this dealership. The salesperson, Mark, was low key and understood I knew what I wanted - he was informative, helpful and did not try pressure me in any way. It was the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had and after an hour or so, I walked out with a great deal on my new ride.I don’t normally take my vehicle to their service department because I have a trusted mechanic near my home who I really like. Fast forward 2 years…I’m notified by Hyundai and my mechanic that there is a recall and I need service. Made a quick call to schedule an appointment and was assured I could get a courtesy ride home and back to the dealership again when the work was done. The service department staff and its manager, Steve, were polite and efficient. I was also pleasantly surprised by the comfort of their lounge/waiting area. If they are closer to me and I was in need of service, I would definitely return.
We been visiting Hyundai in New Rochelle for almost 8 years , Im very happy with every suv we got from Hyundai, this time we got something more beautiful Tucson 2022 calypso red ❤, thanks to Cameron great sales person and thanks to Sully excellent finance representative and the service dept are so nice they work very good with the costumers. We came to this location on a snowing Sunday afternoon, everybody was very patient and nice to us, the process is extremely smooth and not like other dealership they don’t have hidden fees, everything is relatively transparent. I recommend this dealership location to purchase your car!
I drove 1.5 hours because the person on the phone outright lied about the price and availability. Although the employees were nice when I got there they admitted it happens all the time. I wouldn’t buy a spare tire from this dealer - they epitomize the proverbial lying used car dealer. They have people on the phone trained just to get you in the door with fake low prices and promises of the car you want and then everything available is minimum 40% more. Do not buy a car from this place - you will get screwed!!
I called in advance and made an appointment to see a car that I was willing to buy on the spot. The GM had me come down all to waste my time and say they didnt have it in stock. They showed me something instead that I made crystal clear I didnt want. It was a waste of time!
The worst service given by the manager of that Hyundai department does not know how to treat the customer well, they do not help them, they are not professionals in their area, the financiers do not even know how to work well, they are too slow to do their job. Also, when one takes a vehicle aside, that is a lie, they allow other people to see the vehicle and allow others to negotiate it. I also gave my money to set aside the vehicle and today is the day that he has not given it to me. that they say to you by call they do not know how to have a sales word. I do not recommend anyone to buy in that department, be careful because they will deceive you.
We were in the service area (maintenance). Terrible service, the representative Matthews from the moment we arrived was in a bad mood and treated us very badly, he did not pay the slightest interest in helping us in our scheduled appointment, he did not want to explain anything and was only blunt and haughty, I felt intimidated by his bad attention, he did not have a behavior according to his work.
My 2015 Hyundai Sonata 3 year lease expired and we opted for the 2018 Hyundai Sonata! We were treated great at the New Rochelle dealership. Moses, our salesperson, was extremely knowledgeable which made the transaction go on without a hitch! I definitely recommend the car and ask for Moses when you get there!
Mr. Chet Lee, made me feel very comfortable about the things I needed done to my car. He was very polite and respectful. Also, Mr. Matthew Nattier was polite in explaining the work that was done to my car before I had to pay the bill. There was a young lady that was sitting there also, but I didn’t get her but she was also very polite and funny. We talk about how my wife being the boss and we laughed about it. The whole team, that works for New Rochelle Hyundai service department, is an excellent team.
I gave 5 stars, I wish I could have given another 95 (at least). My experience was amazing from the young lady who took the call to schedule my appointment until Wes opened my door to let me into MY car when I left. I wish I had everyones name to thank them personally. But Wes, BriOnna and Lynn were so pleasant I was almost sorry my car was ready so quickly. Good Job Guys! I will see you soon when I come to purchase my new car (Genesis G70?) They know the joke.
Customer service a nightmare..our Ioniq 5 got towed to dealership with brake failure after only 3K miles..Hyundai Bluelink said needs to be towed to avoid catastrophic failure and promised we would get update from dealer re status..no call by next day and after calling service(Dean Blackwood)we were treated exceptionally rude and unprofessional ..realizing said individual will not help at all we asked to speak to a manager..he refused that request stating there are none available(neither service,nor general manager)..to top it off he stated he has no idea when the vehicle will be looked at(“at least 2 days and could be a lot more”)..horrific etiquette and very poor service..
Frank recommends Hyundai of New Rochelle.My wife and I recently bought a car from this dealership over the Memorial Day weekend and we want to thank sales rep Mr Erik Nava that did everything he can to accommodate our needs as buyers and was patient enough to answer all our questions car buying related.Very attentive, professional and always asking us if there’s more we need & if so to clarify with him and ask whatever was needed pertaining to our car needs. Without Erik, I dont think the deal we wanted would have happened. We did have some minor issues along the process but the manager was quick enough to settle the issue and came up with the deal that benefited both parties.Overall experience from this dealership is good and commendable.
I will start out by saying, that if I can give zero stars, I would. This one star goes to the sales person, the only good thing about this dealership. Long story short:My sales person, the sales manager and I agreed on a deal. I changed my insurance, they ran a credit report, they took my plates off my old car, and then was told to wait until the car arrive from white plains…okay! 2 hours later, the car arrived, was washed, plates and new registration was on, we started going over some new features IN THE CAR( I WAS IN THE CAR)-got out to go sign papers and to my surprise, they had tacked on $3800 on top of the $2000 down!! Thank god I caught it(agreed deal: $2000 Down including dmv fee, reg fee and first month)- they had put over $3000 more in terms of taxes and fees! I told the finance person NO, that was not the offer! I told her what the offer was and after about 5 min of me still saying no and very stressed, she said, you know what, as long as you give us 5 stars, we’ll do the original deal… came back 20 min later and once again told me I owe way more money than what was promised! Absolutely absurd! I was denied my deal TWICE!! They agreed twice and then denied it twice!!! Buying a car is stressful in itself and they made it so much worse- very unprofessional! I would not trust any offer given!
From the moment I walked in the door I was treated to an exceptional experience. Demond Jones greeted my wife and I with a big smile and an easy style. The knowledge of the vehicles I was interested in made my choice so easy. He walked us through all the things I was concerned about and quelled any concerns I had. I would recommend without reservation going to this dealership for your vehicle. Their no pressure style makes a high pressure purchase a total joy.
I took my Genesis in for the ABS repair and for servicing. Although it took 45 minutes to drive there, it was worth it. The experience could not have been more pleasant. Matthew Nattier was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Although there is a Hyundai service center closer to my home, I will definitely consider having my car serviced regularly in New Rochelle.
I went back and had a great experience once again. I went back to discuss my options since my lease was coming to an end. Sully was amazing. She explained all my possibilities and in the end she got into a brand new Sonata with even a more affordable monthly payments. I love my new Sonata and I am grateful for the Sully and the team at New Rochelle Hyundai.
It is easy to post negative reviews when we have bad experiences but it is equally important to give credit when it is due. I want to share the excellent experience I had at New Rochelle Hyundai with Jesenia Vargas. I needed to lease vehicle in a very tough market with low inventory and prices going up. After couple days of interaction on text, Jesenia contacted me in about 4 hours I secured a good offer and was driving the car home. The staff was welcoming and I deeply appreciate the experience.
Disappointed but not surprised. Went in to look at some used Hyundai vehicles because of positive reviews and good selection. Right from the start service was slow and it took us almost 2 hours to get in a car for a test drive. After we found two models that we were interested in buying the sales manager, Rob, explained to us that the price advertised online was subject to a $1995 down payment that was effectively an up-charge fee. He then went on to tell us that every place does this and read the fine print on the website. The down payment is simply false advertising and I will be placing a warning on the BBB website. As with any dealership be prepared to go somewhere else to find a honest good deal. Overall, I would not go back to this location given there are other dealers in the area and this poor experience.
I came in upset because I lost my car during flood Ida but they were super sweet especially Noah and Cameron and Rob were super helpful and make my experience amazing! I would recommend getting a car from here 100%. I purchased a car and was able to drive it away the next day! Really happy with the price I got. Will 100% get my next car from this dealership.
My experience was not as smooth as I expected. My current lease was ending and I went to the New Rochelle Hyundai as I have for the past 12 years and found that it was under New Management. It took 3 days to complete the transaction of renewing my lease for a new car and on the last day, I was at the site for 6 hours. A new lease was processed but only after was attempted to walk out without a car. The pricing initially requested on the renewal of the lease was unacceptable. Ultimately, the final payments on the lease were satisfactory and the transaction was made. However, I dont think I will be returning to that site on my next renewal.
One of the worst instances of customer service I have ever experienced. Our Hyundai Santa Fe was coming off of lease and we wanted to turn it in and re-lease a new one. Normally auto salespeople are eager to make a deal. My Salesperson Dumont had zero interest in selling a car. 5 phone calls to him and not one call back. Finally, I asked for a different salesperson and spoke with Tricia. I spent 20 minutes discussing car options with her and she was going to speak with the GM and call me back with pricing. Of course, no call back either. Do not waste your time with this dealer!
Just leased my new Kona. Service was friendly, professional, and fast. Facility was clean and convenient to get to. Demond and Jessica were very helpful and got us into the car we wanted. PLEASE BE AWARE*** I Had a very bad experience in this dealer! I’ve had purchase 2 cars from here and after receiving multiple offer letters and phone calls I decided to stop by and see what they were offering me.Sales person asked me questions and showed me different options , I didn’t go in with the mentality to purchase that day but after going back and forth we agreed on a deal. She asked me to leave a deposit so they could order my suv , they ran my credit , and 2 days after the car arrived.Sales person calls me and tells me everything is good to go I just had to stop by pick up the car and leave my old car. I was so happy I was going to get my car so quick , great deal $0 down and no debt on my old car.After waiting for a while , sales person gives me the new car keys so i could start moving my stuff from the old car to the new car , after that she sits me down in the office with the finance guy to sign the paperwork. To my surprise the guy tells me I owe 3,200 that I had to pay right way on top of the 515$ I had left as a deposit (a total of $3,700 I was not expecting to spend) , I was shocked because I had made it very very clear to the sales person Her name is Liberta that I couldn’t pay any money at front. She never told me I had to pay additional fees at front, even when she called me to pick up the car she said it was just to sign the papers and that’s it.To me that was very shady , I was so mad I paid the fees with my credit card and left. Still thinking to return and cancel everything.This is not right , all scenarios should be explained before making a sale , they only care about selling and they don’t care about their customers.As a loyal customer, I expected a better deal and a better treatment . You got me this time but I am never coming back to this place.
Today I walked into Hyundai of New Rochelle and walked out with a new Hyundai Santa Fe. Jessenia was very nice and welcoming from the start. We went over all things I wanted in car and she explained everything from start to finish. I didn’t feel pressured or stressed out to buy. Read the fine print before visiting Hyundai New Rochelle dealership. Online price was advertised at $30,995. When I sat down with the salesperson, they pointed out that the “listed” price on web was after paying a “Finance Price” of $1,995. Really! So they get you in the door with advertising a lower price to only add a “Finance Price” in the fine print. The real number was $33,935 and NOT $30,995. This is not good business practice. I walked away.
My experience with New Rochelle Hyundai was PHENOMENAL! Amazing staff that love what they do. I recently leased the new 2018 Sonata (pictured below) at a very good price (especially since I am a college student working two part time jobs). They are able to get you EXACTLY what you want at your most reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend New Rochelle Hyundai if you are thinking about leasing or buying a new car!
Under terrible management. STEVEN HAUSMAN is horrible. I called in regards to a part of the vehicle that was supposed to be ordered and he starts speaking about a bad review I left of him after 1. I brought my car previously and nothing was fixed 2. Speaks to the owner of the car (my mother) with total disrespect 3. I was promised a loaner car and they apparently have had a shortage for the past several months. Seems like warranty doesnt mean a thing for hyundai so dont waste your time with these guys. Get rid of him ASAP. hes a CANCER to the company. He told me he wouldnt fix my car unless that survey review was fixed. In my opinion I was nothing but honest.
Dont ever call near the closing time, they put you in hold to try to get a manager on the line (I waited 43 minutes) but at the end they drop the call. When you call back they treat you like youre dumb and condescending, on top of that they yell at you when youre being calm and very respectful. HORRIBLE! Cant believe I did business with them and was trying to come back to them. Sales department need more training in customer service.
UPDATE: They will write back to your review to say contact them, so that they look attentive in the reviews. However after writing to them detailing all my problems, they have not gotten back to me in over two weeks since set. They really are setting the gold standard in how to not treat customer. ORIGINAL REVIEW: To say they are incompetent would be giving them too much of compliment. New car from them and nothing but problems. No one seems to want to solve the problem. They are the worst and know nothing about the cars that they sell. They do not get back to you when they say they will. Just awful at every step. Going to need to contact lawyers about lemon laws and what they are doing there
I responded to an ad on autotrader.com that had been posted by New Rochelle Hyundai for a Mercedes GL 450 with very low miles and a bottom range asking price. I was told over the phone at 5PM on Monday that the vehicle was still available. I took the morning off from work on Tuesday and was able to secure the loan quickly. I contacted the person who called me the evening before but he never replied. I called the dealership and they told me he just worked in a call center and was incorrect, the vehicle had previously been sold. Of course they immediately tried to sell me the same model at an increase of $18,000. CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH. This was a complete waste of time. And still as of today they have the vehicle listed on autotrader and on their website. Not honest business.
I had a great experience at the New Rochelle Hyundai. Demond Jones has been working with me for a few weeks to make sure I found the right car with all the features I wanted. Also I admired the team work at the dealership, everyone was helpful and inviting. They also don’t pressure you to buy which is what I like also!
Worked with Vince when deciding on purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. He was patient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I arrived with my husband loaded with questions and a bit anxious. My salesman Javon did his best to listen and provide me with thorough details the addresses my concerns. He also did his best to keep me updated on the status of my leasing process. Tedious paperwork and corporate policy were issues out of his control and typical of the industry though. Hopefully servicing will be seamless and without surprises. Would recommend 👌
I worked with Saadia who was amazing and definitely worthy of 5 stars. If you are looking for someone to work with, definitely recommend her.The only reason I ding them a star was because it took way longer than expected to get out the door. I went in with a price we agreed on the prior day so I figured it would only take a couple hours to get through the paperwork but it took the whole day. Despite it being extremely slow, everyone was nice and kept trying to push things along as much as they could.
Went to take care of 3 recalls and they end up saying we need a lot of work done. We agreed to get it done but they had to order a part and held the car longer than expected. When I called one rep said the past was there but not the tech, and one said the past want there and dont know when it would be ready. After it was finally done, and denied a loner or rental, the car was riding decent except for very loud break noise when stopping on an incline.
Bought a new Accent years ago for my mother here. For years she has faithfully taken her car here for routine services i.e. oil changes etc. Finally time for her 30000k service and they quoted her $700+ . Thats basically cabin, engine, and oil filter changes with multipoint inspection and tire rotation. Shocked and disgusted on how they took advantage of a long time loyal customer, I called City World Hyundai and got a quote of $300. I have told her now to never come back to New Rochelle Hyundai.
I love it here. Chet, he’s amazing! From the very first day I started getting my car serviced at this place, I knew I’d always come back. Chet has been so patient with all of my questions and so understanding with my last minute requests etc. I go here because I know I will get exceptional customer service and will not see anyone else If he’s not at work!
We went to New Rochelle Hyundai to investigate the purchase of a Hyundai Genesis GV70. Our salesman, Cameron Waldman, was probably the best salesman in this context that we have ever experienced. We have bought many cars. I commented to my husband after meeting with Cam a couple of times that he was excellent, and my husband agreed. Cameron is smart, quick, relatable, pleasant, genuine, honest- and respectful of a clients time. His pleasant and efficient service was exemplary. We were extremely motivated to buy a car from this dealership....because of one thing. One person. Cameron Waldman.
No ethics at all. Employees are throwing their garbagge outside. They come in the morning with laud music at 8:00AM. Also, the are parking the dealers cars outside over night leaving no parking for residents, on purpose. The employees keep yelling bad words where kids are always passing by. There is no respect to residents from management. I have nothing against the company but management may take care of this situation as soon as possible. The City Hall is already aware and working on a solution about this. I hope the manager notice my review and contact the superintendent of the buildings around to take action about it.
I am very satisfied with my lease deal of a fully electric Hyundai Ioniq! I got to test drive it on my first day at the dealership and went back the next day to pick her up, deal with finance, and drive her home!I will say, the process took much longer than it needed to. There was a confusion about my appointment time and my file seemed to get lost in the shuffle. My salesperson was new to the job, so under those circumstances I think he did a good job.Noah Domingue is a very personable and sweet salesperson. I could tell he had my best interest at heart.
Hyundai of New Rochelle had the car was I looking for and the team worked to make sure I was a happy customer. Mike Bansey was my salesperson at Hyundai of New Rochelle. He was honest, professional and most accommodating in answering questions and making himself available to assist me – both during and after my purchase experience. Laurence, Lina and Albert (business office) listened, answered questions, and attended to my car buying needs (honoring a lower interest rate, installing a tow hitch). They worked hard to clarify what was unclear to me. I would recommend this dealership. Mike Bansey is a great salesperson.

2022-02-23Hyundai of New RochelleTHANK YOU FOR TAKING MOST OF THE PARKING AT STONELEA PLACE STREET AND OLD BOSTON POST ROAD!!!! Employee and their customer vehicle is totally understandable to park because it’s a public parking, but the tremendous number of vehicles from HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP is unacceptable especially if it is for trade-in, car service and new vehicles for release. Most of the cars are sitting there for days.I believe car dealership (business) is supposed to have their own parking for service, car for trade-in, brand new vehicle, etc. and not in public parking.I spoke to some neighbors and everyone is struggling and complaining were to park specially on winter time. The only time they will move the vehicle is when winter is over because parking enforcement will be putting ticket violations on a certain days.In addition I also want to mention the corner of Stonelea Place and Main Street across the school, because it has a big possibility of accident which can be preventable if the management will implement to the employee to stop parking and hazard their cars in the corner(NO PARKING). Me myself always seen that problem when someone has to make right by main street to Stonelea Place street. They keep blocking both corners, and its hard to see the cars coming from the other side. (I will add some photos soon)I’m really hoping that the city of New Rochelle or any parking enforcement see this.

She listened to everything I needed and gave me my best options. She was so kind and so professional I just cannot say enough good things about her. 2022-06-21I bought a car from Hyundai New Rochelle and Erik Nava was my salesperson. He was patient, understanding, and really took his time to explain all the features and differences between each of the different Sante Fe models. He made us feel comfortable to make a decision there and then. He and his team at Hyundai made sure I was able to walk out with the deal that I needed for my budget. Highly recommend him. -------- Revision to this review: Everything seemed to have been good. I traded my truck in. Explained to Erik that it was over mileage and had wear and tear. His words were exactly If we can make a deal today they well take care of everything. It was mentioned several times that I would not have to pay anything on the truck lease being turned into them. I even made it clear that if I had to pay anything I would just go back to Chevy because they said they would work out something. He said it would all be taken care of. After about 2 weeks from the purchase I received a bill from Fusion auto for over $6k. Trying to get someone on the phone from Hyundai was a job in itself. Finally spoke to Erik a couple of times who kept saying he would call me back, but I had to call him each time. Each time said that everything was part of the deal and I should not be paying for anything. They sent a check for only 2300 and after speaking to someone from their finance department, they were saying that they were not responsible for wear or tear or mileage overage so the remainder amount of over $4k is my reaponsibility. They did a full inspection of the truck and based their value on all of that so that makes absolutely no sense. All while their salesman was very adamant about everything being part of the deal. The person from the finance dept was supposed to have her finance manager call me the next day at 2p, it is now about 5 days later and I have yet to receive a call. I will be speaking to my attorney about our options because $4k plus is a big bill. They lost a potential customer and referral partner for all the lies to just try to get a deal done. If you read this, I would definitely beware about purchasing from them and make sure you definitely have every single fact in writing. This has become one of the WORST customer service experiences I have had.

2022-04-19Honesty from the moment I arrived with my wife and daughter, they showed nothing but compassion, and excellent customer service. They treated my daughter very well. Jesenia Vargas offered her snacks and even bubbles to play with during the paperwork process. This was my first time financing/leasing a car through a dealer and I felt a bit anxious, but Jesenia had patience and made it comfortable for us. She answered all our questions with great detail. Sully, the financial manager working with us, was so sweet. She had a variety of solutions for any issues we encountered along the way. Both Jesenia and Sully exceeded our expectations without trying to upscale. The entire staff were professional, caring as well as attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend this location.

2022-04-10We walked in to look at the G70 and met with Noah. He was as personable and sincere as could be. We took a drive, loved the car, came back, saw the G80…and the rest is history. Loved it even more. We were treated professionally and courteously. They were all totally responsive and we found not be happier. Jordi and Jamie in Finance helped make it happen. All questions were answered. A great team and we are delighted.Great experience.

He was able to help me with everything and made me feel like family. The Managers Sam, Mike also were amazing people to communicate with and the finance team was amazing I had to speak with both Jamie and Sully who were just amazing people I totally recommend this dealership and recommend Jeremiah as your sales associate

2022-05-10Great car buying experience here! Our sales consultant Noah was very knowledgeable and helped us find the exact Hyundai Elantra we were looking for. Despite the current supply shortage, there was a decent variety to choose from. Our finance specialist Sully was also very helpful! She offered a great deal on a lease, and was very patient in figuring out finances with us. Overall a great experience, and I highly recommend coming here for all your Hyundai and Genesis needs!
