Adam Jurik saves the day! On more than one occasion, Adam has delivered a fair and balanced appraisal, when others have not. As a real estate broker working in Newburgh, NY I constantly see how social and racial bias can negatively effect appraised value. Not with Adam! He works with *data* and is mindful and appreciative of both suburban and urban spaces. Hurray! ... and while I hardly ever have a say in which appraisal company a bank will choose, if I did I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Adam.
Most ridiculous appraisal ever. Almost laughable. 2800sf house on outskirts of town with 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 car garage, laundry room, huge sunroom, 2 decks, front porch all in average condition, Zillow estimate is $292k and this guy says it’s worth $166k. Are you for real?? The small house next door just sold for $270. You’re out of your mind. Go somewhere else if you want a competent appraisal. Don’t waste your money. This place is a joke.

Empire Inspections And Appraisals is a very professional I am home appraisal service I loved the way they they came in and they respected my family’s privacy and they went about doing their job as professionals I would record highly recommend them to anyone else that needs to have their home appraised!
He was very observant, took his time to measure for accuracy. Arrived prepared and on time. I would recommend him to anyone who is buying or selling to get the right market value.

When he arrived gave me estimation of timeframe of the appraisal. Walked the property with me, took pictures needed for the report and was done in the timeframe that he gave.

The people I spoke with over the phone were all professional, down to earth and nice. All went smoothly, I could not have asked for a better experience. The appraiser, Adam, came on time, answered all my questions and was all around great. Recommend them highly.
Adam was professional and efficient, and clearly explained the process. We received the appraisal in less than a week and were pleased with the clear, detailed results. I would definitely recommend!

2022-06-18From the very first call and throughout the entire engagement, Empire was both very professional and neighbor like friendly. Setting up the appointment was a breeze, and when Adam arrived, unlike many appraisers who just want to rush thru the process, he took the time to really understand the property and was very thorough in highlighting all of the houses upgrades and features. They also delivered the report in a timely manner and when promised. I highly recommend them and will be to everyone I know who needs an accurate and well-done appraisal.

2022-03-25Empire Inspections & Appraisals is by far the best appraisal company in the Hudson Valley. I have been dealing with them for over 8 years and have never had an issue with them. 2022-03-26Adam Jurik is the guy who wrote up my appraisal and couldn’t be bothered to speak with my husband about a few quick questions about our appraisal AND he isn’t even the person who came to our house so why did he write my report?!?!? He is literally impossible to get ahold of, makes you wonder if the guy even really exists!!Adam Jurik is the owner and there are a bunch of good reviews on Google from people with the last name ‘Jurik’... seems pretty suspicious to me... why does your family have to leave five star reviews? Can’t get them from real clients apparently!Horrible service, fake Google reviews, STAY AWAY!
