The worst place to order from. Waited over an HR for my food. Didnt end up getting it BC the counter person wrote my number down wrong. And when they brought it back over. They refused to walk it up my stairs. I am a single mother with a 4 y r old and 7 month old and also 6 months pregnant on bed rest. So I couldnt go down the stairs to get it. They were rude on phone. And told us no more orders...i have ordered from them before for about 3 and half yrs and never had a issue before now..they r unprofessional
To hope this review reaches everyone in this business’ service, is an understatement. Today is Mother’s Day and I spent 75$ and a good tip towards Empire in regards to hoping for great service. We had our order delivered to Hudson falls American legion (where we were having a few drinks) and specifically ordered so we could take our food home and eat as a Mother’s Day surprise. Not only did we already pay and make our way home back to Argyle, but they forgot my MOTHERS order and continued to suggest they “couldn’t do anything about it”. They did offer a refund for her specific order, however it’s MOTHERS DAY and we live all the way in argyle where they completely resisted driving to. Ultimately, terrible service and would 0/0 recommend. The woman also disrespected me, saying “if she continues to talk, I can’t help you”. I’m sorry that it’s Mother’s Day and her dinner was ruined 🙃
I have to admit this was an amazing place to come and get a calzone. Sadly Im gluten free now, just found out after a while that I couldnt tolerate gluten anymore. It has also been awhile since I have come here, since I have moved out of the area and then moved out of state, but I am not changing my review for a second. The place is nice looking and the staff are very friendly. Im also sure I will still love the food, whichever is gluten free when I come back.
Hands down the best pizza in Hudson falls. Loved their garlic park wings also. Great people there
You have horrible service and food you screw up orders and then refuse to take responsibility for it your pizza business is a joke I think Ill be call the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU if they do not come back and pick up there garbage and give me my money back
Great menu choices but a bit pricey & sometimes overcooked (hot subs mainly). Their gyros are not properly made, they use thin wraps instead of thick pitas bread. Their Greek salad is different in a good way. I just recently had their triple parmigiana & it was perfect. Delivery is fast & they have never screwed up my orders or forgotten items. I recommend them for dining at home or at their location in Hudson Falls.

At least 6 or 7 times i can remember, my order was wrong, dry, and or cold.. i order the same things every time! Even more disgusting was the fact of when i called back to ask for the order to be made right, i was hung up on, or had a nasty attitude when i had asked them to just simply make it right :-( on top of the not so cleanliness of the restaurant... so sad..never will i order from there again
Great pizza and many of their items are tasty. Just a few minor problems with them overall - their salads are not well made, and they can work a little on cleaning the work area better. Other than those minor qualms, a good place to get food.
Love this place. My kids order here all the time. We decided to get some wings. They were training someone who made an honest mistake and to make it right we ended up with 40 more wings free. We didnt ask them to correct the issue. We love that they did. Thank you for treating the customer right. And good luck to the new hire.
Empire just lost a weekly customer after over a year of ordering from them. Over the last year we have received multiple errors on their end, great food one day and poor quality the next, with no complaints from us and we continue to go through them due to the convience of online ordering and location. The last 3 times weve ordered they completely messed up the order in different ways. We complained last time and today. Tonight they tried telling us the mistake was our fault, even though we have been ordering the exact same things for over a year. She resulted to yelling and hanging up the phone, will not replace food or even pick up the order and refund.
Ordered Stromboli twice with only cheese got tomatoes both times. Stressed no tomatoes which made the Stromboli soggy and inedible. I get mistakes happen but 2 weeks in a row? When I called to try to order another told them the issue and got “what do you want us to do about it” rather rudely, I’m done.
Ordered online for a calzone and wings. They were ready when I arrived for pickup. Staff was wonderful. Black olive calzone and medium wings were perfect!!
I ordered online 606 pm my food finally was delivered to me at 830 pm.food was just warm because when I called at 8 pm they said food was ready just needed driver to bring 30 mins my food sate there and got cold..then the old guy driver walked right in my house with out knocking and came half way up my stairs since when do u just open someones door??Im so unhappy with this today and all I get is we r sorry we r busy. Gonna be long time before I eat here again

I just bought wings, they have so little flavor and are to dry for me to eat.
First time ordering. got wings and apps. the mozz sticks were golden and the sauce was tasty. the grape leaves were on point and the buffalo wings were excellent. tasty, tangy, nice amount of heat. will be ordering again
When I moved here a year ago empire pizza was my go to all the time. Foods great their service was even great. Now I cant even get great service from there. Tonight I ordered two pizza wings and a salad. They forgot one pizza. Had no idea where it was. So by the time it was delivered it was cold. Another time I ordered online waited an hour and a half and then called and they didnt even know it didnt went through.
This is our go-to place for ordering pizza, wings, sandwiches, salads. We order delivery twice a month for our family, and Empire is our favorite. The variety is great, the food is great, the service is great. We love the online ordering. We have had a couple of mistakes happen, but they were good about fixing them.
Not sure what happened. This place used to be great. Just ordered a cheese pizza and mozzarella sticks...really basic...and it was awful. Paper thin, rubbery cheese and almost no sauce on the pizza. Mozzarella sticks were alright. Definitely not worth the $22 I paid.
Ordered for delivery, food took well over an hour to get here, was cold and soggy when it arrived, and they forgot half my order and had to come back....the food wasnt even that good and for what we paid youd think it would be half decent. I DO NOT reccomend.

Wing sauce is never the same, 1 out of 3 orders is not what you ordered or something is forgotten. Waited over 2 hours once for delivery because they didnt see it. Their new management is a fail.
First the food was late then it wasnt hot then they sent wrong food and didnt get salad that went with dinner. when we called they were real snotty and didnt get what was missing or the right food. Will never order there again.
Just moved back to Hudson falls and their pizza and customer service are 100% great! I prefer this Empire over the one in Glens Falls because when I order a party pie, it is never fully cooked. But Hudson Falls was perfect!
Girl with scarf on her head was on the phone then went right to making a pizza without washing her hands or putting gloves on. I refused to pay for my order and the owner banned me for life for complaining about it. Place is already disgusting enough but they dont even bother to wear gloves. The place should be closed down.
You ask for crispy chicken it shouldnt be hard to cook. Its on the order cook it. Im only writing this because I ordered from there all the time. Im all done. Especially after tonight. I ask for a two liter soda that is free when you order 20 dollars. I ask for a 2 liter they charged me. I called and asked for a new pizza but then decided against it so that they cant spit in my food. I will not return.
Food showed up cold and not made correctly called and complained about my ruben that was spouse to have bacon no bacon and my wifes shrimp were soggy and they said they wont do anything about it.

I like there pizza and boneless wingsI order pizza on a Saturday night they told me it would take 30 to 35 mins when I got there to pick it up my pizza was cold. I dont mind cold pizza but not when I ordered it fresh. Its a good place dont get me wrong. But if they tell me 30 mins and It only took 20 call me and tell me my foods done.
Don’t order more than 2 items when they are busy. Soggy fries warm pizza and wings. Calzone was nice and hot.
Chicken bbq pizza was awful. Overcooked and didnt taste like bbq. The woman who answered the phone seemed rude. She told me to hold, set the phone down and I heard their entire conversation. Very bad experience.
We will drive from out of their delivery area just for pick up - thats how good the food is there. Try a Pizza with Eggplant, Feta Cheese, Spinach, Onions, and bacon. You will go back!

Its so sad when you order a small cheese pizza and first you get a cheese calzone and you call back and the person who answers the phone says to the cook make a pizza I will pay I put in the computer wrong.Then your still waiting for the pizza 1 1/2 hours and still no pizza and you called and told its still sitting there that it was forgotten.
AWFUL!!! This place has the worst customer service!! They mess up the orders and KNOWINGLY SEND THEM TO BE DELIVERED!! When u call to correct it they only want credit you for something that doesn’t equate the fact a WHOLE MEAL IS INCORRECT and you still have to get NEW MEAL SOMEWHERE ELSE. We hadn’t ordered here in a long time because of their unprofessional service and staff and won’t be any time soon after our friends just experienced this same exact disrespect.
I just started ordering from here recently ...we moved to fe and they will deliver here..There food is great..for the price you pay your get sooo much food.i have two boys and they have yet to finish there food in one sitting..i spent 40 bucks tonight in food and we have split it up 3 ways and there is still enough good for 3 more people if they were hungry...

Have ordered probably at least 10 times and the pizza is always cold when it arrives. Usually takes 45 minutes to and hour for delivery.
Order a tuna sub and it had bones in it also a mixed sub and got no no cheese no mustard no oil no tomato on it and the ham was bad...I buy from them all the time with no complaints I called to complained and they wanted me to drive 45 mins back with the food to remake it all...there excuse was we were busy...I worked at a sub shop for 9 years and never screwed a sub up even when busy..I’m sorry but I’ll never buy from them again and it’s sad bc ive never complain about them...I guess that’s what u get when u have a bunch of drug addicts work there
Normally this place is great but lately my boyfriend and I havent had good service at all they always forget things that we order and what we do order is more often then none messed up and the fries are always cold but they are speedy with delivery

I always order my pizza with extra cheese. Lots of places sort of ignore that but at Empire I get the ton of cheese that I want. Oh yea (probably more important) the pizza tastes good too!
Order was wrong when I called they blame on a trainee then I pay for the fries they never put in order and still waiting for them an hour later I call and was told oh we got busy they are fresh out of fryer now and will be there as soon as we get a driver lol ok never will order again and I order all the time Well used too

Sometimes the food is decent more than not, it tastes awful or its cold. The prices are outrageous and not worth it. They close early sometimes before they say they do. Way better places around for the price.
Ordered a cheeseburger deluxe and it had no lettuce tomato cheese ketchup or mayo the chicken wings came with no celery or blue cheese i called to see if there was anything they could do to fix it and the girl said no and hung up on me at the Hudson falls location
The food is great but the front desk girls are way to rude I was placing an order on Fri August 8th and they were rushing me off the phone and every time I said something I wanted they would say is that it no no its not then I asked for something else and they sighed like I was bothering them I will now never spend one more sent in that place f...k that ty for listening if I could give them a zero star I would
I ordered and was not told that there was not something that I ordered available I asked for my money and they returned my money but not all of it so now I have to wait again for another delivery to refund me the rest of my money very upset

Food is actually pretty decent, but if you order anything besides pizza theres a 95% chance they will mess up your order in some fashion.

Ordered a pizza while working@ the bus station connected to building. Pizza was so skimpy, I ate the whole thing In ten minutes. Felt like I ate a loaf of bread. Oh... I did !

2022-04-232 bad experiences.1) online menu lists the pizzas that have olive oil base and cheese sauce base… Except the 3 cheese pizza. Ordered it assuming it came with red sauce base because it was not specified otherwise like all the other pizzas listed below. Got it home half an hour away and realized it had ricotta cheese base instantly. 3 simple cheap ingredients on pizza dough for 20$? Pass.2) Let’s try again. Ordered half cheese and half pepperoni over the phone for pickup. I was less than 5 minutes from the place and knew I had the right number because there is two locations and this is the only one I’ve been to. Upon arrival You could cut the confusion in the air with a rusty spoon. Even though there were no customers inside, quiet phones for the duration of the visit and no visable tickets hanging in the clear view of the kitchen , it still wasn’t enough for the ladies working there to realize that the only pizza they had made in the last 30 minutes, and the only pizza boxed and done on top of their oven was for the person asking for that exact pizza in front of them. Spent 15 minutes trying to look up my name to confirm the order and even called the other empire location asking if they had an order for me. Gave them my phone number , address and last name and finally after playing the game it was confirmed the pizza was mine. Was barely warm by the time I got to eat it. Epic fail.

2022-08-07After waiting an hour and a half for our food to be delivered I called the store only to be told it was delivered the driver said an elderly man signed for my credit card order. I was basically accused of the order being delivered and we had our food. After my persistence the girl said she was sending the driver back to where he delivered to make sure it wasnt our house and recover the food. I called back and stated I wanted new food made because I was not taking old food that was delivered to the wrong house thats when she apologized cause he did go to the wrong house she then assured me new food would be prepared and delivered in another 45 minutes I said I would pick it up. I went in to get my order they apologized still charged me gave me a bag of food got home it was luke warm, was not fresh I went there before it should have been done. I know they gave me my old food.....you lost a customer youve had since day one!! Charged for food that was thrown away couldnt eat it!

2022-05-21Ordered a sub came town together warm cheese not a hot sub ! No onions like I had ordered called the store was told there was nothing that could be done about per manager words poor customer service whoever made the sub didnt even put lettuce on it this place is going downhill I wouldnt recommend order from this place if u want even decent food

2022-01-21The only reason that I even gave it 2 stars was because the food isnt horrible....as long as your ok with not eating what you ordered. If you get it all that is. In the past month and a half Ive ordered from here multiple times and I am not over exaggerating when I say ever single time something was either completely wrong if it did show or we had to call to actually get all the food. Im sure there are comparable places around here that you could have just as good an experience with.

2022-03-21Absolute junk food. The wings were rubbery,the fries were soggy and the cheese burger had no cheese on it. I was told that since we started eating it that there was nothing they could do. What a waste of $42 definitely dont recommend going there or ordering from there. What waste of money if I could give 0 stars I would.

2022-03-26Front end staff are rude. Ordered today, the lady said she couldnt find my order. She insisted I must have ordered from the other pizza place. I told her NO I ORDERED HERE. Went to show her my order, she begins to ignore me and start taking phone orders. We stand there, someone else helps us. We get our food. Its COLD AND SOGGY. Will never order here again

2021-09-03Truly wish I had something nice to say. A friend said they had the best wings in the area. However, after ordering saucy wings and getting very dry wings, then calling to let them know, they offered to have a driver bring me hot sauce As soon as they had a chance. The explanation was that other customers complained that saucy wings turned out soggy? Obviously they dont need the business, therefore Ill spend my $25 elsewhere. :(

2021-09-19I have gotten food from here alot and I know times change but this is the worst Fried Calamari. I t is more like soggy onion rings. Not crunchy no tentacles which is the best part of calamari. On top of that food was cold the delivery driver was great but time to find a new service.
