Pretty good experience here, my servicing only took about an hour and I did my inspection while I was here at the same time for additional $10. I’m happy to recommend this service center to anyone in the area and the waiting area is also really nice with snacks coffee and hot chocolate if you need. There’s also a waiting room for children with books you can read and you can look at the cars while you wait.
This is the first time i went this service center to fix my back camera for my Toyota Rav 4 and really appreciate their professional attitude to get my job done, special thanks to Stephanie Contello who helped me out in every step.Defenitely i recommend this service center for their five star performance
Excellent service. It took no longer than 1 hour 15 minutes to perform the service. If I knew they were going to charge me $3 for windshield washer fluid that I could have done also another charge was for grease for what they greased since everything is sealed. If you don’t want to be charged 3% on your charge card you may want to bring cash or use debit card. I had to use my charge card cause their machine wouldn’t accept my debit card, I used it 5 minutes later at the 7-11 across the street. And by the way it cost $146 for an oil change. Never going there again when I could get it done for $60.
It has always been a great experience here. Juan is very straightforward and friendly. Toyota as a company is amazing. Its enlightening to see a company actually care about their customers. They replaced my entire frame for FREE on my 14 year old truck because it was rusted out. Meanwhile GM charged me $4K on a timing job for my Cadillac with 150K miles and I never once heard the word recall....
I bought my 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road and my wifes 2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD Sport from Empire Toyota. I just brought the Tacoma in for its first service. They were fast, professional and attentive to details. I would not hesitate to use them again, even though they are not the closest Toyota service center to my house.
They need to hire a good receptionist . When you call you get a service receptionist of someone at their home. I could here her child crying in the background. She was rude & didnt want to do anything . I was trying to reach the dealer and she said they were all busy and she left message . I asked to keep trying after multiple tries and couldnt reach anybody. I finally reached a so called supervisor. All of the people I spoke to said they left messages for the supervisor of the garage. Needless to say ever person I spoke to said they emailed the service dept . Finally after about an hour the supervisor advised me to just go in-person to the dealership garage . So now after an hour or more on phone with useless reps I went. THEY WERE CLOSED !!!! this is totally unacceptable. The reps dont even know the hours or if its closed. Not closed early closed for the day !!!! Thats rude & unprofessional. You need to hire more intelligent more informed staff. And secondly its double rude not to accept credit cards unless youre charged an extra fee. I dont care . This is not a small mom and pop shop. This is Toyota . This is totally just the reason not to cone back. And then about 3 days later I went to dealer shop. And they had no messages . No idea I even called. I dont have time nor energy to waste with the company. Cheep cheep rude establishment
This place is a ripoff I went for routine service and they told me I needed front lower ball joints and wheel alignment that cost about $1,000 in addition they wont check your service history to see if your routine services are up to date so they would tell me I need break fluid changed when I just had it done last year. As far as the front lower ball joints Im no fool and I went to another place for a second opinion and the honest mechanic told me I didnt need anything my car is in excellent condition. Toyota Im disappointed in your dishonesty and try to rip people off. I was a regular customer of yours until you showed me that you are out to rip people out of thier hard earned money in these hard times with the economy and pandemic. Everyone please beware of this place and dont let them rip you off
The service is good, but I’ve been coming here for years roughly 2x a year and each and every time, without fail, the bill is at or around the $1000 mark. My car runs great and I never have any issues. Every time I come in for routine service I leave feeling gutted. After this past $973 bill, I finally said never again. Obviously a lot of the work they do is unnecessary.
I went in today because the tire pressure sensors are bad . The first quote was $ 145. To look at the car. Actually cost $162. 65. Then the big cost another $ 636.00 more total ripoff $ 798.00 for 3 tire sensors . So Im going to shop around and Im sure I will pay much less . Keep the $ 162.65 . But you wont screw me again. Got in the car and had trouble starting the car. I got back to the motel and the car idled rough then shut off. Today is the first time the service engine light went on . The car was running very good until I went to Huntington Toyota. Fool me once your the fool... fool me twice Im the fool
Went In for an oil change and they kept my car to replace a torque converter that Im glad was covered under warranty. But now i have an oil leak that wasnt their before. I also had a heat shield that was loose after the work was done but they fixed that for me. I just want my car to be 100% again. I love my car, and worked hard for it.
OMG. What a difference from Plaza Toyota in Brooklyn (terrible).Empire Toyota is amazing. Great experience. Great prices.William Bonilla IS THE MAN! Thanks for the loaner while you fixed our car.P s. I just noticed that the id tag from the Sienna keys fell off and I just found it. Do you need me to return this?
This was my first time at Empire Toyota of Huntington Service & Parts when I had an appointment for NYS inspection on October 22, 2021. The advisor told me to wait for an hour or so while my car was taken for an inspection. The advisor came to me that my SUV was done with the inspection for an hour. WOW!
Although Ive never, EVER, had problems with any Toyota Ive owned (& there have been quite a few now), this one presented with leaking oil. After visiting the Toyota service center in Huntington, NY, an expensive issue was found and addressed. Took the car home only to discover it continued to leak oil at an even faster rate. Back to Toyota where they carefully redid the repair (no charge)and kept the car for a couple days to make sure it was no longer leaking. Abundant thanks to the friendly and persevering team at Huntington Toyota for their attention to detail to insure a positive result for me!
I brought a used Honda Pilot from them, it just had new tires put on ! The next night the car started to shake all over the road when I got it to the side of sunrise highway I only had 2 lug nuts left on my passenger side front wheel and 3 left on on passenger rear wheel ! Had to jack up car to tight up what was never done when they did the tires ! I drop off the car that Monday morning so they could check if any damage was done got it back Friday ! Still no call from the management or sales staff to see what happen or if we were all right
Exasperating few experiences with car service, customer service going down the drain at this facility. Use this facility at your own peril! My wife brought our Toyota Prius for service on June 28 and waited for few hours before collecting the car back. She discovered that the maintenance sign was not reset and found it little odd but was in a rush. When I called the center out of my concern I was shocked to know that the service was never done that day. I had to bring it down for emergency service another day, a long weekend when I had to leave on a 600 mile drive. Something that I found very frustrating and highly avoidable. To top this experience carpets, interiors came back in the same shabby state or shabbier than when car went it. On the day of service there was no apology provided for this, just arguments claiming how hard they worked and how bringing the car in for service in the evening was a mistake of mine to begin with. Customer Service is absent completely or just decided not to reach out, including the manager Romeo. All in all a frustrating and substandard experience for me as a loyal Toyota customer. Had to give 1 star or would have loved to give -1.
I sold my Toyota a few months ago, and thought I was done with this awful place. Unfortunately my husband still has one. I am here for an oil change sitting in waiting room and its been 2 hours and 6 min. Last time for my previous car was 1 hour 30. They came out a while ago trying to get me to buy new tires and air filter blah blah. So because I didnt do it, feel like they are punishing me. Tell you guys this, ill change it to 2 stars if they get me in next ten min.
I had a wonderful Experience with the people here. They were very nice and understanding.NOW I did make a service reservation first for 8am!They drove me to my work place with their shuttle service (a very nice man drove me).The service adviser called me later to tell me the good news that my car was done.I told her I might be late and she said no problem.Of course I got back there before they closed at 7pm.Again they were VERY NICE and Professional.I would definitely go back there.I dont know why other people gave them poor reviews. They were very nice to me!!!Thank You
It was the worst experience for me, I made appointment(8:30am) for the tire pressure sign & check.. & reached early on 12/7/19, It took about 5-10 mins time to fix but they took unnecessary about 2 1/2 to 3 hours time without change tire & I missed my office . I bought tire protection plan of (appox )900 dollars after few days of bought the car from sales dept of Toyota Huntington , But the service dept denied becaused they told it did not update in their computer. I used 3 Honda cars not Toyota & this first time I bought Toyota last year, I feel good of Honda service they are taking less time, quick & behave nice. I made appointment earlier with toyota but I thought they didnt care of appointment they took care randomly. I am really disheartened about Toyota service. I wish for better service.
The best of all the service centers Ive been to in more than 28 years of driving. Great staff. They bend over backwards for their clients.Recently Toyota of Huntington Service Department moved to Oakwood Street to a new location. Much bigger and better. With a showroom and more service advisers. Plenty of parking and a wheel chair accessible entrance. Highly recommended. If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars, I would. They really treat their clients like VIPs. We will definitely be going back.Thank you to Nicole V for responding. Your staff is great especially Juan and Kelly..Eric San José
I had 2 bad experiences with Huntington Toyota Service. Both times with Curtis, service writer. First time they kept my car for over 3 days and although he said he would update me He didn’t and gave me excuses such as the tech who is experienced is not in...Second time for a simple 5000 mile check..They said they would wash my car which they didn’t and they were supposed to rotate my tires which they didn’t. Tire rotation is supposed to be part of 5000 mile service.Curtis said it would take 1 hour and he would call..You guessed it no call after almost 2 hours and I had to call....I have a Nissan Rogue and the service I get from Nissan is far superior.
This was my first visit to Toyota of Huntington I wasnt quite sure what to expect when I walked in. First, I was greeted right away when I pulled in to the service doors. Then, I was taken into Gus private office as he put me into the Toyota computer and talked to me. The wait was very little and the service was amazing. Everyone that I had contact with was terrific, but Gus was totally professional and amazing at his job. I highly recommend dealing with Gus if you have a choice. Im glad that I switched to Toyota.
Great experience and by far the best dealer service center Ive ever utilized. Thats saying a lot since I normal conduct my own repairs and service on me vehicles. However, given that this vehicle is under warranty and Toyota care it wouldnt make much sense for me to do it on my own. In full transparency te first repair that my truck needed was a needle bearing which is abnormal. Although I identified it immediately the reps I was dealing with at first kept dismissing it. I then started dealing with Rob who is fantastic! He addressed my analysis and politely explained the protocol which I understood needed to be followed for warranty purposes. He has been extremely helpful with all of my visits and always goes above and beyond to help. I highly reccomend!
I have been a customer of Huntington Toyota for many years. I was even considering purchasing my fourth Toyota. However, recently their service has not been what it used to be. I was very disappointed with a wheel alignment i received as it never took and the car kept pulling to the left. When I called to speak with their manager, He was never available. The staff made every excuse for his absence. I just got off the phone with their receptionist and after scheduling yet another alignment, i asked if the manager would be their. She replied, Well he should be here, he walks around a lot, in and out of the shop, and is in meetings too. Goes to show you no one is their to take accountability when there is an issue. I was always happy with their service, but now, not so much. I will give them one more chance. If I am satisfied I will post.
Was well informed as to the services I requested to have done on my RAV4 and any additional work also needed.Service Associate Sunny walked me through the Toyota procedures and testing to accomplish the repairs I needed from brakes to torque converter, ball joints to filters along with price and length of time needed to complete the job.Sunny was very knowledgeable, polite and accommodating at my visit to Huntington Toyota, checking my warranty coverage, arranging for a loner vehicle and making sure I knew everything I needed to before I left the facility.Have never had a problem with Huntington Toyota, and with associates like Sunny working there, dont expect that I ever will.Arthur
The staff is nice but the wait time is always too long. I’m not sure why have an appointment set and then have guests sit for over 1.5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. The interior for the waiting room is nice and modern. However, between the blaring TV and music, it’s easy to lose your sanity. Lastly, when the work is completed, you’re told that your car is outside waiting but you don’t know where it is outside and have to go on a where’s Waldo hunt looking for it. I also find it quite obnoxious that the service doesn’t include a vacuuming of your interior. For the money you pay for the car I’d expect a bit more service; especially when I can take the car to jiffy lube and get the interior vacuumed after a service.
I ordered a set of tires and made an appointment to have them put on my wife’s car through the Huntington Toyota Service website. My wife received a confirmation for the order and appointment time. She brought the car in at the specified time, which required her to take off time from work. Three hours later they put tires on the car, did an alignment and an inspection. Problem is when she got home we saw that they put the wrong tires on the car. She called and asked why they didn’t put on the tires we ordered. She was told that she didn’t ask for specific tires when she came in so they put the same tires we had back onto the car. First off we had a confirmation for the ordered tires, which required a credit card to order them, so why should she have to ask again. Secondly, the tires that were on the car were goodyear and they put on yokahama tires. Wrong again. Now I have to bring the car in again on Saturday. They apologize by saying that if I ordered the tires through the parts department then they wouldn’t know...but they knew about the appointment and that we needed tires!!! I show them the confirmation that clearly states my tire order and the appointment time. Underneath it states to simply bring your car in at the appointed time. How do you just put on any set of tires without at least discussing the options with the customer??? Sounds like a lot of very easy assumptions could be made. Now, three more hours wasted on my Saturday and their big sorry is a free oil change. Thanks...a lot
I had an appointment to drop off my car for its first oil change change. I arrived before the scheduled appointment time and pulled into the drop off area. I was given a number and told I had to wait in the lounge area to be called by a service advisor. After more than twenty minutes of waiting just to drop off a car I asked when a service advisor would be available I was told very rudely by Juan Vargas a service advisor that I could not have been waiting for more than twenty minutes and that all service advisors were busy with other customers and I would have to continue to wait.I left the dealership and went to Penn Toyota to get the oil changed where it only took a few minutes to drop off my car for service. Great service with very professional staff. If you want quality professional service go to Penn Toyota.
Warning to all - DO NOT go to Huntington Toyota. Absolutely worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership. The sales people and managers did nothing but lie to us from the minute we walked in. We test drove a car and wanted to buy it. We left them with a $500 deposit. After they screwed around, lied to us and tried to scam us into buying more expensive cars we told them we wanted our deposit back. The Business Manager said we would have the money back in 48 hours. Well it has now been almost two weeks and I am still fighting with them to get my money. Every day the Sales Manager lies and tells me they put it through to their Accounting department. Well I spoke to someone today in Accounting and no one had done anything yet. It has gotten so bad I am filling out a complaint with consumer affairs. We ended up buying a Honda Civic from Huntington Honda and they were amazing! Helpful, friendly and understanding. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but Huntington Toyota!
I don’t have a Toyota car but my Honda Pilot need service and I was around Toyota of Huntington. I decide to give them a chance to do service in my truck . When I get there valets people greeting me with courtesy. right after William Bonilla (my writer adviser assigned ) guide me for the process to get my car service . Julio Torres was the technician who efficiently fix my car . I take advantage in the huge waiting room to keep doing my business while I was waiting since the Wi-fi is pretty good . I think they have a good service management because everyone has a good positive welcome for costumers like me even with other cars brand . In the Middle of the service I have to do some out of the place My adviser with the manager provided me Trasportation to back en forward as I was needing .Definitely this Toyota service department is in the top with Quality and courtesy to make costumer like me extremely satisfied. Thank to the manager , the adviser and the technician for everything you done yesterday .
Our experience at Huntington Toyota was fantastic. We explained to Mr.Lee what we needed in a vehicle and all of our needs were met. From the moment we walked through the door, the customer service and hospitality was impeccable. The receptionist offered us coffee and made us feel comfortable. The sales person that took us for a test drive explained every aspect of the Toyota Sienna and provided answers to all of our questions. We also test drove the Toyota Highlander and receive the same great customer service. We would like to thank Mr. Moon for taking us on a test drive and for his assistance when we picked our vehicle up. We decided to get a Toyota Sienna and we are very pleased with our choice. We would also like to thank Mr. Lee and his staff for making our experience extremely pleasant.
Just had 2012 Toyota Camry hybrid serviced today. The service advisor was Sunny Dalavai and he is excellent! He very knowledgeable about Toyota vehicles and since the car had high mileage he suggested what it needed and really worked with us and suggested what priorities should be done! I really like his style and look forward to dealing with him in the future!Ira SuslakKaren Miller
I was there on May 3rd for an oil change and they did a tire rotation. Not once was it mentioned that my back tires were bold and had absolutely 0 thread. So they moved bad tires to the front which messed up my whole alignment. Cost me a ton of money to get it fixed since the car was deemed unsafe to drive. Would never ever recommend this service center to anyone.
Huntington Toyota is very accommodating, I called at 1215 to inquire about delivering my vehicle for the 5,000 mile service interval and was fortunate enough to have been scheduled for a 100 PM appointment, the vehicle was taken in promptly. Susan Demartino was amazing, she explained what was to transpire at this service and also what options were available. The vehicle was serviced appropriately, and efficiently. I even had a question about the electric heater control noise. What I thought was a humming noise and broken, was actually a servo that was working properly. Chris the mechanic came out to the vehicle and patiently allowed me to vent on what I thought was wrong, he explained the process of the new electric controlled damper system wonderfully. I was a Mercedes owner prior to owning my Toyota and am impressed with the service. Susan is an asset to your organization!
Lured me in with an lower cost vehicle and when I showed up for my appt told me it was just sold on accident. They only ended up having one vehicle in my price range so I took it. Less than one week later it started making a loud sound and I realized it was the muffler. Toyota would not help me with it since I didnt buy the 2000 dollar warranty and then 3 weeks later I lifted my back mats to vacuum and saw that the rugs were soaking wet and riddled with black mold, apparently the ac host was leaking into the floor of the car. I now cannot even drive the vehicle because Im allergic to black mold and cannot breathe when Im in the vehicle.
I went in for a recall and explained to him that the service light was on. After getting the car back notice the light was still on so I asked why was the light still on there response was you never asked and in order to make the light go away need to rotate my tires. That is the dumbest answer I have ever heard so the mechanic worked on my car did not address the issue and or left a remark. Cannot wait for my lease to expire will never ever buy or lease a Toyota very very bad service.
There were two times I brought my car here and it ended up in far worse condition. Recently, I brought my car for maintenance and an oil change. Instead of changing my oil, they left my oil almost completely empty and I almost got into an accident because my car began to malfunction and slow down out of nowhere. Hopefully, I can just walk and buy the oil somewhere near me and fix my car. This is ridiculous and irresponsible.
The new guy “Sunny” is unprofessional and doesnt talk or interact with people with any manners or dignity. He is disrespectful and shows no courtesy. I have been a customer for six years and have always left with a smile Until today. His bad manners rudeness and poor customer service ruined my mood. As long as he is working at the office my review will be 1 star!!
Steer clear of the dealership at all cost, they are thieves and they are giving inferior service to people of color. Ordered Tires; aligned the vehicle making it push towards traffic and telling me its fine on more than 3 occasions before I simply returned the tires. Later to learn entire alignment was off; they sell you things you dont need. Steer clear at all cost unless you have time to waste.
I used to come here and deal with Alicia as my service advisor. She recently has moved, and in need of a service I decided to go to huntington toyota anyway. I dealt with Juan, who was great to work with. My review is not in reflection of him. I work on my own truck exclusively, unless its something warranty related or something only Toyota could do. Here is why I give two stars. I brought my 2017 Tacoma in for a leaking rear differential seal which is a common issue on these trucks. I was notified after 1.5 hours that the technician wasnt able to open the differential. I went onto the service floor and had to tell their certified technician that he had to remove the axles in order to open the differential. Not sure why he didnt know how to do that basic job. He then managed to permenantly lock my rear differential, dude to a misalignment of the gears. Credit to him where its due, he stayed until 930 pm until it was fixed. Now, this week I needed a reflash on my ECM. It was updated for a reason, and was covered under warranty. After an hour of waiting, the tech said that no, I have the most recent ECM flash available. He never checked. I had to show him that I had the original 2016 ECM calibration 04b01. It had since been updated to 04b03 to correct transmission control values. They had to take this kid off the job since I caught him red handed trying to shaft me. They put another tech on the job and he was able to reflash my ECM to the current specs. So thank you to whoever did that. Thank you to Juan for not letting me pay for the flash and covering under warranty, and dealing with my persistent nature. This is why I do all my own work. A tech of over 8 years didnt know how to open a differential, and this young certified tech would rather not even look into the sole reason as to why I brought my truck in. Maybe it was a case of the mondays, but no. Not on my vehicle. That has been my experience here. The advisors have been understanding and amicable, however the guys doing the work were less then competant. Not sure Ill go back here. Always double check your repairs if you can, to be sure the case of the mondays doesnt affect your investment as it nearly did to mine.
This place sucks! They charged $130. To find where the leak coming from. They said that to fix would be $2800.head gasket an engine gasket. Brought it to the local garage, they said it was crank shaft seal. $200. I brought it to their attention and they said we would take care of you next time. Part 2 an 3at another time.
I really must have not known the real meaning of "Completely Satisfied" when it came to doing business, because I left Huntington Toyota Scion feeling nothing but happiness with my new vehicle and the events leading up to my purchase. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated with nothing but respect by David and the rest of the crew over at Huntington Toyota. Davids personality made everything about this interaction enjoyable, his outgoing and personable demeanor had me at ease and confident in my decision to purchase my new vehicle. David is a very patient individual all while being very thorough with his work, with all the back and forth between paperwork he was always just a phone call away and one step ahead when it came down to his organization on the job. I couldnt be any happier with my decision to walk into Huntington Toyota and really feel I always have someone there for me during the life of my vehicle. I will be recommending David to anyone who has interest in purchasing a car because I know he will treat them with the same respect as he did with me. Thank you again.
Terrible customer service. Unclear with communication across employees. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate when dealing with customers. I will be taking my car to another Toyota location moving forward. Do not bother with Toyota of Huntington spend your hard earned money and time somewhere else.
I have bought many cars in many places. I will say this has been the worst experience I have ever had. The sales manager was awful. I actually told the salesman that if I had to speak to him again, I would leave immediately. If I was buying a new car, I would have left after the first 2 minutes of being on the lot, but becuase I wanted a used prius, and they had one for the right mileage and price, I made the mistake of buying the car from them. I was a certified used car, which I had to take back in and get fixed after 2 weeks! The overall expierience was horrible and I warn anyone from going there!
After a terrible experience at my local Toyota dealer (Penn Toyota) I actually went out of my way to drive to Huntington Toyota to hopefully have a better car buying experience and I was not disappointed. I met with Gary and he was a true professional. I explained my issue at Penn Toyota and he assured he could find me the car I wanted at the right price. He let us take an extended test drive of the car and found the exact color and model of the car we wanted in a lot in Bayshore. We agreed on a price and he was able to arrange delivery that day! They had someone drive the car from Bayshore and were able to prep the car and everything in only a few hours. Im very happy I decided to drive almost 45+ minutes to get a much better experience at Huntington Toyota.
The most disrespectful, pathetic display of customer service I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I could go into the entire story, but it’s a waste of your time. Do NOT go here, the person who worked on my car was Yves and I’ve never seen someone who truly needs to be fired like this before in my life. Go back home, ask your parents for lessons on “manners” then reapply.
What a experience worst ever they live up to the stereotype of car salesmen. This is the worst dealership they all lie, avoid customers, cover up each other lies and treat you with total disrespect. If this is what you want then go to Huntington Toyota. I purchased a certified car from the in 2010 was recommended to buy an extended warranty against my better judgment I did because of their business manager MIKE BAPTISE. I was told your covered till 100k and when I hit 100k call him and the $2500 purchase price would be refunded and that I cant lose. Well I hit 100k in October 2013 and called Mike told me he would get the records and call me back well as of now no call back. IN between I called Toyota corporate and was told to call customer relations manager Jean Abreu I did and was told I will talk to Mike and get back to me no call back I called the GM and no call, I called corporate again and filed a complaint and was assured a resolution within 3 days guess what it was handed off to Jean Abreu again no resolve. I then contacted corporate and they told me that some one would call me back guess what no call. Returned call to corporate and was told that I bought the car from prior owners and that the prior attorneys would contact me. Well here where it gets good I called the dealership and got the big guns Tony [ sales manager] he listen to what happened and repeatedly told me to listen to him. He thinks hes a tough guy. After many conversations he assured me he would call me back the next day. Well6 days later no call the only time they call is when you tell them what the blogs. Hears the scoop in my option Mike made a mistake and now there all trying to cover it up with more lies and BS and since I relocated to another state they know I cant come in.So if you want to be lied to repeatedly, then avoided and treated with no respect then go buy a car from Huntington Toyota. Good Luck
I called service department and couldnt answer my questions about my battery warranty . I called parts department answered my questions about warranty but I had to take it to service department . I chose today replace it with an Exide battery from Parts Athority cheaper and a good quality brand . If it has a problem I can bring to a store and the will warranty it .
Terrible service at this Toyota dealership! I would never buy a car or have it services by Toyota of Huntington. They are supposed to have loaner vehicles and they never do. Local Shuttle Service is a joke. It’s never offered or convenient. My co-worker is constantly taking her car there for warranty repairs and she always gets the run around. They never fix it the same day. They tell her to come back the next day because they didn’t have time to look at it or they can’t figure out what is wrong with it so they need her to come back. Another time they have ordered the wrong parts to fix the car but didn’t tell her right away. It is a constant back and forth with them and she still has issues. Not to mention the car is still under the manufacture warranty. No excuses. I feel like she has a lemon car and Toyota isn’t doing anything to help her in any way but make it as extremely inconvenient as possible. DO NOT GO THERE!
Sales department is ok dont go there for service there there crooks I went for a break issue they changed me diagnosis fee but didnt even touch my car then when I found the problem myself and went back they want to charge me diagnosis fee again but this time they want to charge me double the amount they changed me even though Juan told me to come back after I told him . Never coming back the service advisor also had a nasty attitude.
Spent $700.00 to get the emissions error fixed, two weeks after they did the work the same emissions errors came back...brought the car back and they told me that the car has some other issues that will cost me over $600.00 to get repaired....after complaining to either fix the problem at no charge they said they will knock out half the price....I believe that they did not diagnose the issue correctly and now I have to pay another $300.00 for the repair.....Honestly they should have done what is right....fix the problem they could not fix the first time at no charge....very disappointed with Toyota......makes you don’t want to buy another Toyota vehicle again....
Overall A +++ I kid you not! THese guys were great with the rate, the price and Im very happy with the car. If you guys get to go visit Juan Santana, charismatic and knows what he is doing. Not pushy and lets you revise things diligently. His team was awesome too the finance manager gave me a great deal hard to reject and I took. It... Rosa broke things down for me the day I took the car along with Mike and I left like a happy camper.I suggest you consider this toyota and I came all the way from New Rochelle Westchester County NY.Thanks,
Im not sure about the sales side of things, but Im highly disappointed with the service side. Brought my truck in for a recall and figured Id have them fix an out-of-warranty problem. Was called in the morning to be told there a $125 diagnostic fee ON TOP of the cost of the repair (billed out at book rate which includes time for disassembly which is the majority of the time Needed for diagnostics). When I balked at this Juan was nice enough to explain to me that ALL repair shops, dealer or otherwise, do the same thing. Well - Bethpage Sunoco, Amityville Firestone, nor Roadway in Hauppauge have ever charged me anything like that. I even called Cannon Collision in Hicksville and asked if there is a diagnostics fee to look at my broken door latch and the guy laughed. It was offensive that the dealership finds it to be acceptable and ethical to charge a diagnostics fee - Because they are a dealership, let alone an exorbitant fee (admitted by the service manager) for diagnosing a stuck door latch, but my greatest offense was the blatant and direct lie about everywhere charging a similar fee.Needless to say I had the factory recall done, but elected to use a different shop to fix my door latch (without gifting them $125 on top of the cost of the repair). The dealership lost any chance of ever doing any business with me in the future.
On July 12 - I put a $500 deposit on a 2013 RAV4 . At the time I was told it would be in on July 24th. I revisited the dealer on July 19- at which time I was strongly encouraged to buy this different color RAV4. I decided to wait for the car that I put a deposit to hold the car coming in. On July 19 I received a message stating that the car was in port and we be at the dealer in 2-3 weeks. On August 11th I call my salesperson Tommy MacFall to check on the delivery. He said he would call me back on Monday. He finally called me back on Wednesday August 14 and said it would be 2-3 weeks for the car. I said what happened to the car I put a deposit on. He told me these cars are hard to come by. I asked again what happened to car I put a deposit on. He said a mistake was made, this is the first time I heard about it. I got upset and hung up, I called back 10 minutes later and asked for my $500.00 back , he then said he would talk to his manager and get back to me. That was two days ago and no one from the dealership has called me regarding this issue, nor has my deposit been returned. Maybe this will all work out - I do know that I will be buying a new RAV4 - just not sure from what Toyota dealerRich
Never go to this center. They supposed to order an item for my car but after a month they ordered the wrong one. I had to drive 40 mile to get there and waited for more than an hour and I was told that my order is not the right one,,, Long story short they were not even apologized and said these things my happen!!!... they have the worst customer service as well... whenever I wanted to talk to manager or one of the guys over there they never made it through ... I had the worst customer service experience over there.
I called to ask if a vehicle is still available. The representative said it here and still for sale. When I got there, he said it was sold right before you came. Full of bullsh*t. I drove 45minutes here to find out the vehicle is gone. It was either sold weeks ago. So then the guy tries to lure me into leasing a new vehicle which cost way more than the car I wanted to buy. I definitely wasted my time here.
THERE ARE TOO MANY SERVICES TO LIST. YOU HAVE A COPY OF MY INVOICE WHICH HAS THEM LISTED. OUR SERVICE CONTACT WAS RODRIGO ARICHABALA. HE WAS COURTIOUS. HOWEVER, WE HAD COME IN TO HAVE A SEAT LOOKED AT THAT HAD BEEN JAMMED. ALSO FOR AN OIL CHANGE. MY HUSBAND OKD THE WORK DONE ON THE CAR BEFORE IT WAS COMPLETE. HOWEVER, I FEEL THAT BRINGING IN A CAR FOR A JAMMED SEAT AND AN OIL CHANGE, SHOULD NOT HAVE NEEDED A COMPLETE OVERHAUL. SO HOPEFULLY WE WILL NOT HAVE ANY TROUBLE WITH THE CAR, THE COST THAT DAY WAS $1247.76 IT CERTAINLY WAS NOT AN AMOUNT WE WERE EXPECTING. TO RECEIVE A CAR WASH COUPON, EXTERIOR ONLY, WELL, I GUESS THANK YOU. NANCY CHRISTENSEN

This dealership is a joke My wife took her 2016 Toyota Sienna AWD for the 20.000 mile service .After picking up the car my wife reminded me that inspection was due.I take it in for inspection can t do tires are worn down to the the steel mesh. This was a week and half after the Toyota check in oh yes it needs new break pads I guess they did not see the child car seats How is it possible they let someone leave the dealer ship with breaks in that condition. My mechanic also assured me tires were never rotated. This place is a sham avoid I am going to complain to Toyota that this dealership cannot be trusted.Avoid.Thank goodness for youtube it will be easy to show your competence .

2021-12-30I am extremely satisfied with the quality and thoroughness of the service provided by the technicians at Empire Toyota. Prior to coming here I was taking my Toyota Camry hybrid to another Toyota service center, and while they were doing basic and routine maintenance, the never recommended additional services that will ensure peak performance of my car. This became apparent when I noticed the gas mileage of my car on a full tank steadily decreasing. When I purchased the vehicle new in 2018, the mileage was 512 miles on a full tank. By 2020, it had decreased to 441 miles on a full tank. I heard of Empire Toyota’s excellent reputation and decided to bring the vehicle for a second opinion. I met with Sunny Dalavai, one of the Assistant Service Managers there. He was extremely professional, straightforward, and did not try to push me to perform any service. Rather, he had the technician do a thorough check on my car. The technician was able to identify certain services that hadn’t been done and caused significant back-up in my car’s fuel injection, a/c system, etc. I was never made aware of these services, which if recommended in a timely manner, would have saved me a lot of time and money trying to correct it. Sunny presented the issues to me and let me make my own decision on how to proceed. There was no arm twisting or pressure tactics, and I appreciated that very much. I decided to move forward with doing all of recommended services and since then, my mileage has gone back up to 489 on a full tank. Now, I regularly bring my car to Empire Toyota and work with Sunny for the necessary services. Sunny has consistently been very upfront, patient, and transparent about the required as well as recommended services, and associated costs. I cannot thank Sunny and the technicians who have worked on my car at Empire enough for their professionalism, the wonderful and thorough work they’ve done, and the timeliness they’ve maintained in completing the work. I highly recommend the service center at Empire Toyota.

2022-06-28Every time I go in for a simple service, they always try to upsell you on something. Now, I admit Im not overly knowledgeable about cars but I think thats what they take advantage of. They said I needed an expensive fan cleaning service to keep my hybrid battery healthy. Sounds reasonable, so I asked to see the dirty fan before they did the service. They took me to the car and showed me the filter for the fan. I asked to see the fan that needed to be cleaned but they did not show me that and I asked twice. I asked someone who has the same car as I do, with twice the mileage and they said that Toyota Service has never done a fan cleaning on their car. Ill be looking for a new service center.

2022-04-09David Qin assisted me with the write up to have all of the rotors re-surfaced. He was able to set me up for a loaner car as well. I dropped off the vehicle around noon time and it was ready by 5pm. When I came in to pick up the vehicle I was a bit late. However, I was able to give a heads up earlier in the afternoon to David that I was running late. Such amazing dedication to his job and his clients! I have been working with David at Empire Toyota for about 5 years and I always look for him every time I come in for service.

2022-03-23The reception and location facilities are good.No indication of type of oil (brand and specs) provided and same for oil filter. No indication of the work done on alignment (before/after) . Ive been told something was wrong with a rod and that the team did as best as they can to perform the job. I paid in full for the service. The alignement is not completed. The onboard computer was not reset so that it still shows the car needs maintenance and was not serviced.i bought the car with 70K miles at the same location 11 month ago and I was not given any maintenance documents. As per my last visit, the garage was able to see the maintenance done but not able to issue any document in that matter.Last comment will be on the tires replacement. Bolt are so tight that they are impossible to remove with the wrench provided with the car. Last time I had a flat tire I had to buy a specific wrench to remove them.If the service center is not able to provide the service just do not make the offer. The staff is friendly but the service is poor.

2022-03-10I brought my car in for an oil change on Monday. The representative Will took the car while I waited. Then 3 hours later he informs me there’s a sensor issue and I will be given loaner car. I called Tuesday, he says it’s the wire and not the sensor so they have to order the part and will let me know when to pick it up. Then I called Wednesday, he’s not there, no one has any updates. Thursday I called again and he says yes it’s ready. Amazing! I picked it up this morning, the technician did a great job!! Now my remote key is missing the actual key, which clearly someone took out and forgot to put back. I am waiting now to hear from Will if he found it.. hence a three on this review. Well that’s an issue other than that, they did a great job. They did a regular maintain and fixed this sensor issue.

2022-05-31I have been that place recently. My all of the engine lights were on and I knew that computer didn’t read my speedometer coz I already went to the nearest mechanic shop close from my home. When I reached there one of the lady staff told me that Toyota will charge you diagnose fee, if you won’t repair my car there. Another hand, they only charge me repair fee no diagnose fee, if I repair my car there and before fixing my car she will tell me the problem and the cost to repair and I can make a decision about that issue. I agreed . I signed the form. after 2 and half hours waited in waiting area she came to me and said she needs more time to diagnose the problem and it will be extra charge for extra time coz they didn’t find the problem. I signed another form, which indicates that if I don’t repair my car there after find the problem I have to pay diagnose fee which was $388 including tax And i won’t pay diagnostic fee if I repai my car there. So I have two options, if repairing car is very expensive than my budget, I could pay $388 diagnostic fee and go out from Toyota and repair my car outside anywhere I want. Second option is if repairing cost is under my budget, I can repair my car there and they won’t charge me for diagnostic fee which was $388. After an hour the lady staff came to me and she told me that my car is fixed . She didn’t ask me how much is the repair cost is gonna be and didn’t tell me what is my problem in car while I was waiting outside. they fixed my car and told me to pay the bill. I asked her what is the problem? She told me it’s wire connection problem and they charged me diagnostic fee $388.00 only. I was shocked and told her, you said me, I won’t be charged for diagnostic fee and going to charge for repair fee. And even you didn’t tell me the problem and price before you guys are fixing my car before . They didn’t help me at all, even though I talked to the supervisor from that company I didn’t get my answer. All in all I was not happy with their service and I won’t recommend any of my friends and family.

2022-03-16Everyone was wonderful during my visit for a recall on my Rava Four. Stephanie was extremely caring of me and my needs with dropping off and picking up my car ( the work took all day ) . I would highly recommend Toyota for any service needed!

2022-03-03The rep sunny was rude. Yelled at me and told me I shouldn’t go to a dealership for just an oil change. The guy who pulled my car around the back spin my tires out in front of me. After the oil change the check engine light came on and traction control. The battery cap was not put back on and there was little oil in the car when I check. I wish I can give a zero stars.

2022-03-09Charly Murphy is the only rep I would want to deal with at any dealership. Very helpful curious and most importantly sincere. Great experience with Murphy and got a good deal on my 22 4runner.

2021-06-05I went to this service center for the first time, June 2021. I arrived at 7:30 am on a Saturday. I had preemptively made an appointment online but it seems that was the weirdo thing to do, as no one asked about or acknowledged that I had done this. The waiting room is huge and has free wifi and a free coffee machine. The bathroom urinal was a little gross and didnt flush well. Overall I waited about 4 hours until my car finished.I despise getting cars serviced because I dont know anything about cars, and I know its routine for customers to get taken advantage of simply for being naive (myself being one of them). I knew something had broken in my suspension because there was a terrible clunking sound whenever I hit bumps. Otherwise, I vaguely said my car needs an oil change, service, and NYS inspection and let the Toyota Service People have their way with me.For the sake of transparency, here are the prices I was charged. You can decide if it is fair or not. Bill is attached for proof.-Conventional 5K mile service (oil change, rotate tires, replenish fluids) $84.90-NYS safety inspection $37-Broken end bar sway lift had snapped and was replaced $609.81-Brake fluid exchange $219.95-Transmission drain and fill $153.31-4WD service (drain and refill front and rear differentials) $219.95-Pressurized fuel injection cleaning $219.95-Throttle service $129.95-4 wheel alignment $189.95Did my car really need all these things done? Im not sure. I havent had my car serviced in 3 years, and Im the kind of person that is willing to get taken advantage of as long as my car doesnt explode. Use this information as you will.
