I honestly love this place! They are so wonderful, and willing to help and explain all items on thier menu. Yes, it is vegan and gluten-free, but that doesnt mean to pass this place up. From smoothies to salads and their huge selection of baked goods and dessert, your sure to find something!
Emy was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I contacted her regarding a custom cake for my daughter’s 21st birthday with a vision I had in mind. Not only did she create that vision, but she also exceeded my expectations! My daughter and her friends loved the look of the cake and couldnt stop talking about how delicious it was as well. Emy will 100% have my business again in the very near future!
Vegan AND gluten free...I walked into a dream. The avocado toast with olive tapenade was incredibly delicious. I could eat it all day. I was so excited to see so many options that I went a bit overboard and bought more than I needed but it was worth it. Definitely a must visit when youre in Hyde Park.
First off- the donut I got was deceiving you small but absolutely filling, rich and delicious! This little shop is conveniently on route 9. You could tell every single aspect of the bakery is well thought out. Ingredients are listed on all items and they are very conscious of allergies. I would award it $$-$$$ but worth every bit for a high quality grab and go meal.
I won an instagram giveaway for some chocolate covered strawberries from Emy Delights & Bites along with some other vegan goodies.. and oh. my. gosh. These were hands down the best chocolate covered strawberries Ive ever had. Emy was SO sweet, and I can tell she puts her whole heart into this business. The cafe is adorable and it took all of my self control not to walk out with 100 truffles, donuts, pancakes, etc. I will definitely be back very soon!
Concept 10/10Execution 10/10Location 10/10Appearance & decor 10/10Food 10/10Affordability 10/10This cute little spot checks all the boxes. Amazing concept to include everyone of all dietary needs without sacrificing flavor or bumping up the prices. This is one of the first times as a vegan I dont have to scour the menu in search of something I can eat. Fresh food (literally a garden outside), smiling friendly faces, good prices, great food and variety, and good vibes. All around a fantastic experience and a great spot to go. I 100% recommend that everyone stops by here, whether its to grab something big or small! I will definitely be giving my business here as much as possible. I wish this place all the luck and abundance in the world!#SupportSmallBusiness
Emy Delights and Bites is so good!! My husband and I love the avocado and hummus toast and of course the sweets are delicious as well! Last time I ordered, I had to get curbside pickup because I was sick. She was so accommodating and even threw in some chocolate treats! I highly recommend this place for anyone who is worried about food allergies or who just want something healthy to eat.
My sister and I stopped in to Emys adorable bakery for some coffee and pastries. The snacks were delicious and so was the coffee; service was really pleasant as well. It wasnt a consideration for us - we were just hungry! - but if you have food allergies, Emys is nut, vegan, and gluten free!
Emy Delights & Bites is my absolute favorite cafe in the Hudson Valley. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Im vegan and my mom has severe food allergies and if you know what thats like, then you know how comforting it is to be able to go into a place knowing you can eat everything and not have to ask any questions - and eat EVERYTHING I do. Her basic avocado toast (made on fresh house made bread) is anything but basic. It is to die for.Now for what shes known for - her sweets! Highly recommend the staples of bakeries you might be familiar with before you went vegan - her raspberry butter cookies as well as black and white cookies give me an immediate rush of nostalgia every time I take a bite. All of her cookies have the perfect texture - its hard to believe theyre vegan and allergen free! Theres an amazing rotating menu of sweet goodness and theyre always unveiling new things and outdoing themselves every time. And for Emy herself - WOW. The nicest and most courteous business owner in the area. Im a frequent customer and I see many other customers coming in. Emy takes the time to speak to all customers, answering any questions they may have. Shes understanding and goes out of her way to ensure her customers leave satisfied.
I love this little bakery/cafe! picked up a box of cookies and treats to bring over to a friend. They have all kinds of things - donuts, sun butter cups, truffles, cookies.. got a mix of everything. They are super friendly and have great customer service. We also had the waffles with all kinds of toppings and they were so yummy and filling! They gave us a free cake pop too which may have been my favorite! Would definitely recommend!
I love this place! Emy and her staff are the sweetest and her products are amazing. I’m not vegan or even vegetarian! I just love her commitment to fresh, whole foods, and they’re delicious. You do NOT need to be vegan to appreciate her skills, and if you are vegan, you’ll be so happy here. My favorites are the smoothies and the truffles :)
I decided to give this place a try because there isnt many vegan places in the area. I drove about 20 minutes from my home, it was the end of the day and I was informed that all of the good stuff was sold out which was very understandable. But I have to agree with another commenter this place isnt the cleanest, Nats and fruit flies were all over the deserts and the young lady still put them in the box. Needless to say I had to throw the entire box away, because I will not eat anything that flies are flying all over, landing over and whatever else they were doing. Also, the deserts were a bit dry. I hope the owner takes these types of things into consideration when presenting food to the public in the future. Thank you
Emy’s is fabulous!! I’ve tried most of their chocolate treats and the cake pops and death by chocolate donuts are amazing!! And Emy is super sweet herself and really helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this bakery. If you’re passing through town, you must stop in!
Love this place! Everything we had was delicious - sun butter toast, avocado toast, coffee, and smoothie. The home made bread is especially tasty. All of the treats in the display case look amazing - can’t wait to try them all! Also, super friendly service - will definitely be back.
I love Emy’s cafe! I am dairy/gluten/soy free and pretty much follow a paleo diet. Emy’s bakery goods are AMAZINGLY tasty and adhere to my dietary lifestyle. Want to live a healthier life but can’t give up desserts? Well then stop in at Emmy’s and pick yourself up some healthy, yet scrumptious treats :-)
Such a valuable addition to the neighborhood! Before Emy’s the GF options were abysmal, but you don’t have to be GF or vegan to enjoy. Love the smoothies and overnight oats, and can’t wait to try the avocado toasts—so much better than getting a sad salad for “heathy” lunch.
It was an okay place. They are very polite and not so much tidy. Im highly allergic to some fruits including dates/prunes/plums, cranberries. My first bite into the bread was a bit odd and sweet and tart. I unfortunately ate the whole dried fruit so I cant say for sure which it was. I also wish they would have had more signs about what oils they use. As a person whose highly allergic to coconut; Im not too happy about being given no warning anywhere. We dont have a lot of vegan options around so Id still visit if I was. I do enjoy vegan food. I can personally recommend some recipes and restaurants. The bread is a tad too dense and crummy. Its either dry on the throat or the allergic reaction. My friend who had some also agreed on what I said as far as it being a tad too dense. I saw avocado signs and just about everything else, but nothing about Coconut. My friend also couldnt even finish the bread. On the way home for an EpiPen and then go back out.

2022-02-11Just wanted to show off a beautiful cake made for my daughter’s birthday. We had such a great experience from the beginning to end of this process. I was able to explain exactly what we wanted over the phone and through email when it came to design, size, and flavor. The online ordering system is also very easy to use.And to take the customer service to another level when we arrived for pick up my daughter was able to pick out an extra birthday treat and I had some help carrying things out to the car when my hands were full with my daughter.Such an great experience and a beautiful cake. Thank you so much!! Can’t wait to go back.

2022-05-20Wow. We stopped here randomly and I’m so happy we did. The cold brew frappe with caramel date sauce was magical. And the oatmeal raisin cookie and chocolate dipped sprinkle cookie were great. I would not even know it was was vegan if they didn’t tell me. Highly recommend.

2021-02-25My absolute favorite place to go! Everything there is absolutely awesome. My favorite things are defiantly the desserts or the mac-n-cheese. I have food allergies and I love going here. The staff is super knowledgeable, the service is fantastic, and the food is the best gf/vegan food Ive ever had. You cant go wrong with anything from here. Everything is high quality and taste delicious. I go at least twice a week and its my favorite part of the day. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars because Emy really takes pride in what she makes and goes out of her way to make sure everything is always 100% top 8 allergen free. Highly highly recommend.

2022-05-26I got to say that I have been coming to this place since early 2021 and I really love Emys Gluten Free Menu Items, from Smoothies to Desserts to Toasts. She did not disappoint and she is really Nice! When it comes to talking about Vegan places that I have visited of late, she wants to learn more about it because its just making sure that its actually Vegan and not anything Fried. Its been a Great Pleasure coming to her place and May 5th will be my last day there. I wish her the best of luck for her Business. She will definitely Thrive as I am on my own as a 30 year old to follow up my Personal Pursuits.

2022-01-19I always liked this bakery until I ordered two pies for Christmas Day. The two pies were $85… I chose a chocolate and apple one. The chocolate pie had no bottom and the apple one’s crust was so hard we were unable to cut it in pieces. I was very disappointed because usually the baked goods are very good. But most of all I can’t believe I paid $85 and got nothing but disappointment. I spoke to the owner over the phone and expressed my disappointment asking why would it be so different than their regular baked goods? She offered me a gift card (send through email) in the amount of one pie, but unfortunately I never received it. Would I still recommend this place? Yes, definitely great baked goods for people with allergies. But I would never invest in their pies or any other expensive custom order. And unfortunately I won’t be spending my own money there anymore.

2021-08-23The owner is very welcoming and all employees are friendly. I’m not restricted by allergies nor am I vegan, but I’ve been going to Emy’s since the opening, and I am always pleased with the quality of the goods. The cookie sandwiches, smoothie bowls, strawberry milkshakes, and truffles are my favorite. I love that Emy is always coming up with new items.
