Enterprise Rent-A-Car in other cities:
Car was dirty inside and out. Friendly staff and other than the cleanliness of the vehicle, everything went fine. See attached pics.I responded to the link provided, received an automated response saying someone would contact me, but no one has as of yet.Does anyone ever hear from this company when you send a response to the email address they put in the review response, beside the automated email response? I have not yet.
We had a terrible experience and waited for over an hour and a half to get a vehicle that we reserved a month earlier. They gave us many excuses like Covid, that the staff bringing the cars up was elderly and slow… amongst many others. Highly recommend not to use them in the Albany airport as they are poorly organized and did not do much to keep the disgruntled customers feeling as if their needs or cared about. What is especially difficult with one of our travelers being on oxygen and elderly.
ALWAYS use Enterprise Rent A Car; this company has never let me down. Most of my travel lately is coast to coast. The vehicle is always ready for me, the process is simple, the return is the fastest in the industry and the Enterprise employes are super helpfu and friendly .I even bught a used vehicle from Enterprise Car SalesIt was the easiest, cleanest car purchase I have had in 50 years,5 Stars for then !!
The experience was a little bumpy. Reservation was not available, was supposed to get full sized SUV, for intermediate. Had mechanical issues with vehicle. The end of the rental they made everything right. Charged me the lower reservation rate, gave me a roadside credit. While the experience was not optimal, the customer service efforts, especially by the Albany branch were, and thus why I always rent from enterprise.
Their response to customer issues is non-existent. I had questions about billing and changes to my rental when I called on 9/27. I was forced to make changes on 9/24 because I tested positive for Covid in NY and couldnt fly back to Texas. I asked for consideration because of my medical circumstances, and for the contract to be amended to reflect whatever charges would be incurred, and whatever credit was due for a smaller vehicle and 2.5 fewer days. It is 10/1 and I have had no response at all from the Albany branch. Some of the customer service reps have been helpful, notably Sheila, Caprice and Julisa. However, I am extremely disappointed that no one at Enterprise seems willing to address the business end of my rental. To top it off, the Albany Branch has claimed a damaged bumper, which did not exist when I turned the van in on 9/24. Ive been on hold TWICE today for 20 minutes waiting for Albany to pick up after being transferred by a customer service rep. Very disappointed that neither Jason Lofaro or Mark Quincy has responded, and that I have heard nothing from Enterprise.
I arrived at the Albany International Airport Enterprise on 17 SEP 2021 extremly late. I had returned from overseas on Monday and had a really rough week and was heading from NYC towards Vermont to get my son. My vehicle brokedown on the I-87 thruway in a dark dangerous curve. Long story short I took a UBER several upon several miles. In the cab I received a call that my mom passed away. I really needed a car. The Enterprise Rep. went above and beyond to help me. I believe her name was Kiera. I am so thankful. Upon returning the vehicle early another Enterprise Rep. I believe name Jason Lofaro did an excellent. Awesome teamwork. Thank you so kindly from my heart. As an Army veteran and having an aerospace engineer background I travel alot. Facts - It is nice to see positive people in these turbulent times. Way to go!
I went in to the location directly to book a reservation because I needed a specific vehicle for a funeral of a friend who passed unexpectedly. Santino was the one who made the reservation for me. Santino was very respectful, helpful and seemed to care about the situation.I reserved the vehicle 2 days before the funeral. Went to pick it up the night before the funeral and a different “manager” (he said his name was Matt despite the lack of name tag) was working the counter. Before telling us the total amount to pick the car up, he swiped my boyfriends card and then said “it’s declined” very loudly. We were told that it would just be the cost of the hold fee ($400) at time of pickup then the rental amount ($251) would be charged upon return.Anyway, I switched the reservation to my name and gave him my card and license. He looked at my license and immediately said “your address doesn’t match” and handed my cards back. He claims he tried running my card then said it wouldn’t work because my address on my ID was different than where I live (my boyfriend has a different address than I do). He refused to rent the vehicle to us. We called corporate to see if there was a remedy and while on hold we asked Matt to speak to a manager:This is when Matt said “I am the manager” to which we asked “who is your manager then?” He said “excuse me?”. We repeated ourselves and he said “you don’t need to know that information, and I’m not giving it to you”THANK HEAVENS I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH CORPORATE WHEN HE SAID THAT!! The corporate employee said “wow that was extremely disrespectful” and proceeded to process a complaint for Matt’s disgusting behavior.Matt the “manager” then contradicted his own self multiple times. We asked to reserve the car again and pay at a smaller enterprise location (apparently these ones allow your address to be different?) the following morning just to be sure we have that car that is needed for the funeral. After requesting this 3+ times and getting different excuses he said “it’s been rented” and smirked under his mask.I have never had such a horrendous experience in my entire life. It is now the morning of the funeral and we have no vehicle and are left feeling extremely disgusted by this experience. We understand if there are rules but the way that this “manager” handled the situation was absolutely disgusting. Don’t work in customer service if you can’t treat people with respect, especially given the tragic reasoning behind our attempt to rent this specific vehicle. From start to finish he was rude, negative and looking for chances to be a jerk to customers. If this is who they allow to be a “manager” then I don’t need to rent from any of the three agencies ever again in my life.
Wishing they had a bottom for 0/5. I don’t even know where to start. I personally dont leave bad reviews but this one had me stuck at the airport for 5 hours over night with no way out.1. Incompetent staffs/ Not very understanding or willing to go the extra miles.2. Can’t rent a car with a debit card.3. The telephone operators have no understanding or clearly don’t understand their job outline.4. Companies guidelines are clearly outdated.I created a car reservation 2 weeks ago at the enterprise 14 miles from the airport. On the day of they called me to let me know that office close at 6 pm and I should create a new reservation at the airport. Upon arrival they asked me when was the reservation created I clearly explained what had transpired but nobody seems to care. The agent told me they can’t give me a car due to that reason. This level of service is unacceptable within the hospitality and customers industry. Coming from someone who trained platinum service workers.
I reserve a car that’s suppose to be just a standard car. I get there and they didn’t have the car I asked for. They try to give me a car that smells a mixture of cleanness and cigarettes. Then I told them I don’t want it. They decided to give me a free upgrade. I drove a car to my work place and I didn’t felt safe. I called enterprise which called the people at Albany to tell them about my experience with the current car. I go back and they give me a sedan again smell like cigarettes and cleanness and then give me another sedan. I started driving it and when I got to the highway the brakes made some noise and felt rough to press on. I went back once again for the third time until they finally gave me a good car. This is unacceptable! Also they kept throwing at my face about car restrictions like I didn’t know that already. I wasn’t asking for luxury car. I was literally asking either a Honda, Toyota or Ford type of car. So the fact they kept throwing that at my face like if I ask for luxury car was annoying. Probably not renting with enterprise again*UPDATE*Contacted them and never got back to me at all
Although it is pretty pricey to rent a car from the airport, I had a wonderful experience renting from Enterprise at Albany International Airport. I originally had a compact car, but the individuals who rented the car prior to me, clearly smoked in the car. When I alerted the associates about the cigarette smell, they upgraded me to an SUV at no extra charge. The associates are super friendly and will do the best they can to help you save money on your rental.
I had a great experience with that Albany airport enterprise. My plane was 6 hours late and the branch manager got me on the road quick. He gave me his card and said call with any issues. I rented the car for 4 days. When I returned to enterprise to bring the car back I was surprised to see the branch manager checking the cars in. He greeted me and asked how everything went and I said great the car ran well. He proceeded to kneel down and check the car over thoroughly. He had me sigh off that the car was returned and I got my email receipt within minutes. My problem is I got a FedEx letter from Enterprise 3 days later saying the car was damaged and they want a police report. Then they want me to sign apiece of paper admitting I damaged the. Car when the branch manager signed off saying there was no damage. I am or should I say was a frequent renter from Enterprise. I guess Ill have to find another car rental company. I dont like to be blamed for something I didnt do. Good Day
So Im on the do not rent list for no apparent reason. I have over 3000 reward points that I guess Im just out. I call the number to settle whatever the issue is and they tell me they are submitting a form and I should hear back soon. That was three weeks ago. What gives!?
Have consistently had great experiences with enterprise. They have been accommodating in my requests and helpful when things dont go according to plan. Recently left an item in the glove box and was able to work with a rep at the location to retrieve the item. Will definitely be doing business with them in the future
This was likely the very best car rental experience I have ever had. I needed to adjust the time of my rental, which was easily accomplished online. When I arrived to pick up the rental car, the woman who helped me at the counter in the terminal was wonderful. She was efficient and delightful. When I went to the parking area to collect the car, it was ready with the ignition running and the worker was very pleasant. When I returned the car, the man in the parking area greeted me pleasantly, immediately inspected the car inside and out, and cheerfully thing to me, handing me my requested receipt. Many kudos to Enterprise! I am sold on your service and will recommend you unconditionally.
I can’t say enough great things about this Enterprise location. I’ve rented here a couple times already and every time I’m greeted with a friendly smile and helpful staff. The cars are always clean and in great shape - and the Exotic Car selection is fantastic. The most recent visit I got a nice upgrade to the Evoque for a great price. It made a very emotional trip (funeral for a close family member) a little more pleasant... I’m not sure the Enterprise staff understood just how much that meant. Thank you Enterprise. In addition to the great staff and cars, Enterprise usually has the shortest lines at the airport as well as the fastest. They’re also easy to get to from the gates (as are all the rental car companies at the airport). Looking forward to renting from here many more times!
Sometimes, things happen. I happened to be one of the very few people (probably ever) that had to wait quite a while to get our car. That’s not a complaint though. I really did mean to select 5 out of 5 stars! (:The manager, along with all the other staff members I encountered, went above and beyond to “make things right” and made sure I was absolutely as satisfied as could be with our car, as well as our experience. Based on the customer service alone, I would highly recommend using Enterprise at ALB. The price and the car itself (functionality, cleanliness, etc) were also exceptionally great!Quincy, the branch manager, is absolutely wonderful!
Enterprise continues to impress me. I needed a large SUV for a family trip to Canada where lots of snow would be falling. They had a Tahoe warmed up and ready for my arrival and with 3.5 feet of snow while we were there it was perfect. They were flexible with our return, which was late by 1/2 a day, and quickly processed us so we could get home. All great service. I had never been to this location so it was a nice surprise to find their service was as good as my regular location of Kingston NY.
I had a reservation for an Elite Crossover SUV. Enterprise’s website clearly indicates a 7-seat SUV.Upon arrival at the car rental desk at the airport I was told they had a Grand Cherokee available for me which can only seat 5 people. When I inquired about getting an SUV with 7 seats I was told I have to pay for an upgrade to get a Chevy Thao or something similar! While the customer service person was very polite and cordial, she didn’t seem to be experienced enough. I believe what I was asking for was very reasonable and within her ability to make a decision on given that I’m only asking for what I made reservations for. I wasn’t asking for an upgrade.Long story short, I took the Grand Cherokee and left, I had no time to argue. This car wasn’t what I booked and wasn’t what I needed; and honestly it complicated my week vs. solving a problem… This is the first time I encounter this at Enterprise!
Coming from the busiest airport, its so refreshing and convenient to walk right up to the rental counter and have someone waiting for me in the garage with my car even on a holiday weekend. No bus or train involved.Aaron got me set up quickly, and I really appreciated him showing me a few features. Ive been in that situation before in which I was returning a rental, with a long line of cars waiting, and I couldnt figure out how to get the gas cap open. The car was clean, and it was a quick return as well. I hope to have as good an experience when I return next year.
I left a small cooler with lunch in the back seat of our rental, realizing it when we got to the gate at ALB airport. I went back to retrive it but the car had already been taken to be cleaned. The staff quickly contacted the cleaning facility and had them bring the cooler to me with in 10 min. allowing us to make our flight with lunch! Thanks for the great service!
I have rented from the Albany Airport office several times in the last couple of months. The cars been low mileage & impeccably clean. the staff has been business like, efficient & most noticeably, INCREDIBLYCHEERFUL & friendly. The last time we rented, the manager personally gave me his card & surged me to call him with any problems. I have no intention of using any other company from now on.
I always rent from Enterprise but after my last experience I will be reconsidering that. I need to rent a luxury SUV and was looking for a Cadillac Escalde or the Lexus as advertised and in a dark color. This was for my daughters wedding. I was responsible for getting her from the hotel to the wedding and with so many things be canceled and changed this year the rental was my last hope. When I picked up the vehicle it was a white Landover Discovery much smaller than what I was expecting...the exterior of the vehicle was dirty, yellow paint on the window. 100 percent opposite of what I was expecting. I am very disappointed with Enterprise on this rental
First ever bad experience with enterprise. Car was fine but customer service was not good at all. Nicole could care less about helping out both with pickup and return. On return tried to ask questions and would only say rental n return was over there. Not busy either time . Just wanted us in and out In as much as Albany rentals had changed this year from last it was not great. Im only giving it a 2 because the vehicle was good. In the past your service was top notch
It was the best car rental experience Ive ever had. Easy pick up. Easy drop off. A little misunderstanding when paying at time of drop off but remedied. And another minor misunderstanding between the total bill and what was charged but again, fixed quickly. Ill use them again.
Great Enterprise dealership. They went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. I had a rental for 2 1/2months and needed to redo the contract every 30 days and each time it was a pleasure to work with the staff at the Albany Airport. I had a Prius and I loved it especially the gas mileage!! Twice during the rental they could have had me change vehicles and I didnt want to and they made it possible for me to keep the car.Great customer service and just nice guys in general.
Overall I had a great first experience with Enterprise. There was less fuel than there should have been in the tank initially and some confusion over my rental agreement, booked through Travelocity, but the Albany airport station manager, Brandon Kinsey, was super responsive and made it all good. Will definitely be using Enterprise again!
Very helpful and quick service inside the Albany airport, right next to baggage claim. Easy access to the rental, and a quick acceptance of the vehicle. The vehicle was clean and in excellent condition. Very easy and quick return of the vehicle (quite early in the morning). I could not be more pleased with Enterprise in Albany, NY. Thank you to the staff that helped me.
I am local to the Albany area, and when my car needed to be serviced unexpectedly, I rented a car from the airport enterprise. This best thing is their hours, since theyre open early and late which makes it very flexible for a busy persons schedule. The employees were all very nice, polite and friendly. The only downside is that I wasnt aware of the extra fees, so it really added up before I even knew what happened (mind you, it was very late at night after a long day at work so I should have asked myself, but was too out-of-it to do so). Everything was extremely easy. The car worked great and it was so clean that it makes me want to clean my own car, and maybe even maintain the cleanliness!!!
Great experience. Im being contracted to work at a local Hospital and used a competitor rental agency my first 2 weeks. Not impressed. Enterprise I have used in Albany and Charlotte for the last 4 weeks. My go to company. Very fast reliable service. All the staff have been great. Very professional and friendly. I had to bring the car back the first week because of a defect and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes with a new car.
Terrible experience; arrived at Albany, NY airport during regular business hours to find the Enterprise desk inside the airport closed; sign directing everyone to go directly to the garage where only one customer service desk was open with only one employee inside who was serving Enterprise, National and Alamo. While waiting in a long line during a hot humid summer day, I found myself wondering: Why am I renting from Enterprise? Enterprise needs to hire more staff at their customer service desk otherwise I am using a different company next time
From start to finish Enterprise was excellent they made my reservation, pick up, and return easy and convenient. when we picked up the vehicle they realized that my party was not going to fit in the original one that I reserved, they upgraded me to a minivan which fit us all just fine. I would not hesitate to use Enterprise Rental again, and I strongly recommend Enterprise to anyone who needs to rent a vehicle
The car was ready when I got there. Albany Airport location is so convenient. You just have to cross a road outside baggage claim. The car was as expected for mpg and and performance. However, I think the Enterprise area needs more lighting for car inspection. I had to call in, after I got to my designation to report that the seats really needed shampooing and something was left in the trunk. I dont think this is the fault of the person who checked me in----just not enough light. Otherwise I was very happy with my rental experience.
Great experience. Station Manager met me in rental car lot, offered nice deal on an upgrade to an AWD sedan which was perfect for snow country. Rates were much more competitive than Hertz. I have been a Hertz Gold customer for years, however their service at Albany Airport has gotten much less convenient and their rates double those of Enterprise. The personal service, rates and flexibility offered by Enterprise have made me a convert.
Have always used and appreciated Enterprise. My Nissan Sentra was sparkling clean and ready to go. Charges were normal. As with all rental car companies (not just ) Enterprise--the young staffers are clueless about giving directions-period. However, the young man (Carter) who checked my car in was friendly, efficient and a pleasure to meet.Ill keep using Enterprise in the future.
Customer service at this location is on point. I rented a car for a family trip to NYC this weekend. I was pleased with the condition of the car, the ease of checking in and picking up the car and the customer service. The location itself sucks, due to there being so many rental places crammed into such a tight space and drivers not watching where they are going in the parking garage. I dont rent cars typically, but if for some reason I have to...I will definitely go with Enterprise again.
I will always rent from Enterprise! This was my 3rd rental experience with them this year. Each experience was flawless and with excellent prices. The employees are friendly, helpful and very professional. The cars have been nearly new or even brand new on one trip. Im glad I dont have to shop for rentals anymore as Ill immediately head to Enterprise:)
I normally don’t have an issue with enterprise, customer service and the vehicles are (usually) great!I went to the airport to pick up my vehicle and was asked what my plans were. I told him (the sales rep) I was going to NYC to pick up my sister then coming right back.As I’m on the road about 1hour 20mins into the trip , the car stops accelerating. The car continues to slow down or not pick up speed in a timely manner(considering I’m on the thruway and going across the George Washington bridge and thru tunnels). The most scariest ride ever. The fact that i paid $112. For it is upsetting as well. I’m not too mad, only because I didn’t have kids with me. Enterprise, needs to do thorough check before handling out keys!
Rented the car in Albany, New York to drive to Granville, New York. We were pleasantly greeted as always by very knowledgeable staff. The car was not cleaned outside but clean inside. I can handle that. We were given a Ford Fusion that did amazing on fuel. We drove a lot through New York and Vermont, sight seeing after my sons wedding. Overall we used about 3/4 of a tank in a weeks time.We have been renting from Enterprise Car Rentals, for personal use, at least 15 years with the occasional rental from another company when booked through work. Enterprise in my opinion beats the others in a areas, hands down.
Great experience. In and out very quickly; nice car with no problems at all. The manager actually was the one that checked the car back in upon my return, and she was exceptionally friendly and grateful for me choosing Enterprise. One of my better experiences with a rental car firm!
This is the first time that I havent had a perfect experience with Enterprise. The car, a Nissan Altima was fantastic, however the personnel at Albany were not. Firstly they didnt walk round the car with me, and the young lady with whom I was dealing spent the minimum time with me being too busy talking to two other employees. At least I guess they were employees! The result was that although I hadnt rented GPS as I had my own, it came on after about 100 miles and we couldnt turn it off or turn the sound down. It was giving us directions to places that we didnt want to go. It took a visit to an Enterprise Office along our way to finally turn the sound off.On every type of car or truck that Ive rented it has been a simple matter to adjust the rear view mirror for night driving. Not on this one! There probably is a simple way but despite pressing all the buttons on the front of the mirror nothing worked. The headlights were also set too low in my opinion and although on some cars it is possible to adjust the beam when driving I wasnt able to find the feature on this one. This made driving at night dangerous. Other than this the car, as I said before, was fantastic. When I returned the car the and mentioned the GPS and the mirror problems the young man looked at me as if I the customer was stupid and said that as they deal with so many cars they cant know everything about them. Here I disagree! First of all they should know far more than they appear to and should not assume that the customer has driven any particular type of car before and knows all the Bells and whistles. The young man also asked me what it said in the manual. I have rented many hundreds of cars in my business career from many companies and dont remember ever seeing a manual in the glove compartment. Its a pity but I suppose that they get lost or stolen.I as a customer may well be stupid and may not be right but I should still be treated as if that were not so.Car five stars but employees at this facility two!
Very good service. Especially, the representatives were friendly and professional. I needed to change the reservation three times and there has never been an issue with that. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is that I talked to representative and asked him, whether I could expire the car rental for one day, if necessary and, whether there would be a price difference. He told me that itd be no problem at all and that Id pay the same price. In the end I paid 40 % more for the extension.
We flew up to Albany from our winter home in Florida. Our reserved truck was ready and waiting at the airport. We were in the vehicle and on our way within 15 minutes. It took even less time to check in three days later. We were expecting a Ford 150 or similar, but they provided a loaded Ram with a crew cab and all the bells and whistles. Enterprise has always gone beyond good service for us. We have tried the others but Enterprise is the best!
I have bad experience with different car rental companies and web sites, but finally I found a great company you can trust , Enterprise excellent customer service, never expensive new cars and lot of Varity to chose, easy to pick up and easy to return. Last month I had a vacation to go CA, I felt that its a problem to go from home to Albany airport then from CA airport to the hotel the return back from hotel to CA airport then from Albany airport to home .I used their website and make a reservation of 3 cars the first for one day take from airport put my larges then returned back before time of flit when reached CA got Enterprise shuttle to their office and get a car for one week returned back then I got the third car from Albany airport to my home, it was great and easy thanks to Enterprise staff.
Time to get rental was excessive (have rented from this co many times with little wait time). I was told that the only vehicle available was a large van. As I needed transport, I didnt have much choice, but side and rear doors too heavy to use much. Over the next few days, found food, food and drink containers and pet hair under seats and rear floor mats. Wonder if it had been disinfected prior to rental. Health problems forced me to keep vehicle as incapable of returning it, more than once waited close to an hour on hold to extend rental.
The experience was A+, the rental car office was right at the airport where the luggage claim is located, how convenient. We got what we requested which was a large SUV, brand new Tahoe with heated seats (perfect for the frigid weather). The staff were great! Thank you so much!
The service we received in Albany from company personnel was excellent. It was thorough and friendly and helpful. However, the $200 added fees came as a surprise, for when we placed our reservation they were not listed, just the base price for the car. You need to be more open and honest about what the total cost is going to be.Finally, we just got a 9 dollar charge for tolls on the car; however, we paid cash for each and every toll, so this is another surprise and an unwelcome and unjust one. It comes close to making us change our rental care company of choice.Larry J. Reynolds
As always with Enterprise the rental process was quick and easy (I use the app or on-line). At the airport the representatives were friendly and very helpful. I was quickly in my car and on the way. Return process just as easy. Only little issue was the inside of the windshield was pretty dirty. Didnt notice till late evening sun hit it making it a little difficult to see through the glare. I pulled over and thankfully had some fast-food napkins to wipe it off some. Overall, Enterprise will still be my go-to company for car rentals.
My first rental I got during my vacation was on 18 Jun. The enterprise rental car at 737 Albany Skaker Road, Albany international airport was the worst experience Ive had with enterprise. They gave me a free upgrade after exposing I was a service member home on leave with my family. Which was an extremely awesome gesture. When I went out to pick up my rental, I was rushed through the whole process and given back a rental agreement with no damage box checked, and explained the car was brand new. However, after further inspection I realized there was major body damage on the passenger side. After the whole process the paperwork was changed. However I couldnt help feel as though I was being cheated and slightly scammed. Maybe I shouldnt have answered the guy at the desk about what my business was. I cant help feel that saying your a Soldier still leaves you a target. I wouldnt expect this type of character from people in my own country.
I have traveled a good deal for business and pleasure in the past. I am a member of most rental car companies premier clubs in order to cut down time at the counter/airport. Although availability and cost always play a factor in renting, I always strive to rent from Enterprise as over the years it has become quite apparent that they have absolutely the best customer service in the business. This is true all over the country and Albany is right on the mark with this as well. The cars are good, of course. Most companies have good cars. Pricing is competitive all the time as is with most companies. BUT, if i have to pay slightly more for Enterprise than ANY of the others, I will, just for the customer service and knowing nothing will go wrong (or will be fixed immediately if it does) no matter what. The service is always fast, smart, courteous, flexible and professional. Thus, I never have to worry about this part of my trip going wrong. I would suggest Enterprise (and do) to anyone who asks advice on this matter.
I had a rental booked for vacation for over a week with another company. i arrived to pick up said rental at 6am at the Albany Airport and was informed that they did not and would not honor my rental..that was paid for. I walked right over to the Enterprise counter where the staff were suuuper accommodating and friendly. We were on our way to the beach within 15 mins! Thanks Enterprise
Christian and his co-worker were outstanding representatives of the Enterprise franchise! We were trying to save money by going off site to Dollar, they wouldnt answer the phone. We walked over to the Enterprise counter and got a beautiful Jeep Compass and fantastic conversation with this young man. It was our first time flying into Albany, the ease of getting and returning the rental car made the trip much less stressful.
I was very satisfied with the service I received at your Rent-A-Car Center at the Albany International Airport (ALB). Both men were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The car was very clean and rode like a charm. It was not the first time I have experienced renting a car from Enterprise. I have always found the people to be most helpful. Definitely would recommend you to my friends.
Excellent, friendly service, the car was clean and ready for us. I got a luxury car, but it was an economy in terms of accessories. I expect a Cadillac to have all the bells and whistles and this one didnt. No collision avoidance, side warnings, seat alarms, none of the things that make it a luxury vehicle.
Rented car at Albany airport -- checked in where picked up baggage (convenient) walked across to parking area and Enterprise booth -- all the way on the other side of the lot (unconvenient) -- was met at booth by a pleasant young lady who showed us to a car 40 away (convenient) looked aver the car with me and handed me the keys . She took time to explain push to start and a quick note of side gas tank was. Good job . Checking back in was equally efficient and quick. I know they e-mailed me the rental agreement but wondered what I would say to police if ever stopped. I had nothing to prove I had rented it and I dont do e-mail on my phone ??
Have been with Enterprise for several years. Usually excellent service. Left $400 headphones in trunk of rental. Returned to Rental desk half hour later and they said it was not found and they checked cameras and no one seen taking it. Saw someone taking news paper out of trunk but there was no newspaper in the trunk of rental. Slow to respond to me. Had an Oh Well attitude.I changed rental agencies.
We very much enjoyed our experience with our car rental as well as the staff at Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Albany Airport. We were able to upgrade for a reasonable rate and thoroughly enjoyed the vehicle we got. All the staff were very nice and pleasant as well as knowledgeable about the area we were visiting. This is why Enterprise is always our first choice.
I had an ok experience at this location, the associates were nice. I could tell they were surface acting though which gives a bad vibe. I really do not appreciate the agressive upsell. I dont understand how it could take 20 minutes to go through options when I didnt want any of them. I thought it was pretty rude that I could not have the keys to the car until I heard the entire pitch. Also there was a lot of fear tactics used which felt a little off script. Not sure if that is part of the training employees recieve, but ultimately I almost walked away from the transaction and went to my go to rental facility: Avis. The main reason I almost left, I k ow their process it is much shorter and pleasentI also felt that the associate walking me around the car was not necessary. Again another 5 minutes added to the experience for no reason. This could have been a self service function, which it is everywhere else I have rented a car.Overall, I tried this place on a recommendation. I dont think I would rent a car from Enterprise in general just due to their customer journey when picking up a vehicle. If time and comfort is two of your main values I would recommend trying Budget or Avis. The organization has it figured out.
I always use enterprise now because I just never have a bad experience. Sometimes its just fine, sometimes its excellent, but never ever poor. This was a good experience, I got in very late, the gentleman at the counter was friendly, the car was clean, the staff was efficient. I dont need effusive, just quick, friendly, and the car always in good shape and this is always my experience with Enterprise in all their locations.
Really disappointed with the experience. I got to the window and the sales person working was watching UFC on his phone. He said he was going to give me a car great for the snow since it was bad weather, I ended up with something 2 wheel drive that got stuck twice. There was damage to the bumper which he didn’t record. The woman who I turned the car into was abrasive and ignored me during the interaction. The branch (Albany Airport) was supposed to follow up and didn’t. I wish I had more options, I really don’t want to rent from them again. I’ve had success at other locations, maybe it’s just this one.
Everyone at this Enterprise Rent-A-Car location are great to work with, and quickly process the rental. When picking up the vehicle, they review all features. In return, I have always received a smile, greeting, and check to ensure everything was good. Thanks to everyone there!!!!
Enterprise is always great to work with. When I arrived at my travel destination to pick up my rental they actually didn’t have the size car I reserved. But as not to delay my trip they imediatly offered me a free upgrade to a vehicle they did have. Thanks enterprise!
The check-in was quick, and the car was fine. I chose Enterprise because they would take me where I needed to be after I dropped off the car. The staff was cheerful and efficient. My only complaint was that the air freshener in the car was rather pungent and, to me, unpleasant. Regardless, I will book with Enterprise again.
I originally would have given this location 2 stars. They put me in a filthy vehicle (both inside and out) and I was told thats all they had and were sorry. I explained my dissatisfaction due to the fact I was only in town for my mothers funeral and my father and I would be in dress clothes; and that I couldnt clean the interior myself due to having 7 back surgeries with the 7th just 6wks prior. Not that a customer should ever have to clean a rental car upon initial rental of said vehicle; they are supposed to be detailed and immaculate for every new rental. But, I am giving them 4 stars because the manager, Dan, reached out to me via email the following day and we ended up speaking on the phone. He was very apologetic to what occurred and said that should not have happened as their vehicles are supposed to be detailed for each new customer. He ended up only charging me for a one day rental rather than the 2.5 days I had the vehicle and he also arranged for me to not have fill up the gas tank up on return. He handled the situation with class and respect and for that, I will do business with this location again.
First off, let me say everyone was nice & pleasant. But the rental car facilities themselves are just a disaster. There are too many rental companies in too small of a place. So it makes it convenient purely from a distance perspective but chaos otherwise. When returning the car the signage is not obvious, so circled around, only to then be told by 3 different people where to park (each one different). The airport needs to get these rental car facilities sorted out.
So far, everywhere I have rented from Enterprise has been easy and quick; thats why I use them. Agents have all been friendly, helpful, and not pushy with the extras theyd like you to buy. The crew at Albany International Airport were stellar both with pickup as well as return, when I sadly had to report an accident. They are professionals with a personalized approach.
I rented a car from the Enterprise location at Albany airport for 3 days for a business trip and was delighted with the opportunity to upgrade my rental to a larger hybrid for a small daily fee. However imagine my disappointment when I turned on the heat and was sickened by the smell of cigarette smoke. I minimized my driving for the next few days to compensate. When I returned the car, the rep waived the charge for the gas I had used which made me feel better however the car should have been checked more carefully at the initial point of rental.
The agents at Enterprise were wonderful we had major issues with road side assistance. While driving from NY to FL with 7 people and luggage the check engine light came on. We immediately called road side assistance and were told they could not locate a similar car where we were and we were on our own to get picked up as they could not fit us in a tow truck. The person was extremely rude when pressed as to what we were supposed to do as we were stuck on the side of the road. We then were told to try and drive it to a Firestone shop and maybe they could fix it. We drove to the nearest Entetprise we could find in Vestal, NY and were again told nothing they could do, they offered no help what so ever. I would think that since this was a mechanical issue with the car we should have received some sort of help. We called road side assistance a third time and was told to just drive the car and see what happens and maybe if we broke down again we would be closer to an Enterprise that would have a suitable car to exchangeWe had to literally research ourselves on the Entetprise site to find a location which had the Ford Expetition to e change. Not a good first experience rentingbwith Entetprise.
No, no, no, no, no. The desk attendant called a four-door sedan a small SUV because I reserved an intermediate SUV & all she had was a sedan. The car was covered in scratches, so I went back in & waited in line to make sure they were recorded. Today, three days after I returned the car, I heard from the Damage Recovery Unit, demanding an incident report. There was no incident; they just gave me a scratched up car. The tires were also way over-inflated, which could have caused problems as well. Will not recommend or use Enterprise again. I only gave one star because I couldnt post without one.
Extremely dishonest. Attendant lied to my wife, who was traveling with two small children late in the evening. She said she wanted no extra insurance. He said insurance was mandatory and automatically applied when booked online. He lied about the total to keep her from inspecting the documents closely. We paid double what we expected. They would also not give us receipt when the car was returned. If you MUST rent here:Read the contract carefully. Inspect the car VERY carefully before leaving. I would take photos or a video. Absolutely get them to inspect the car when it is returned and have them give you a receipt saying that there is no damage. DO NOT rent or return a car in the evening when there are no attendants in the garage and it is too dark to inspect the car thoroughly. What they SAY is meaningless and meant to get you out the door. What is important is what is on PAPER.If you do all this, then you might not get screwed.
I reserved a vehicle that you pick. When I arrived I was told I couldnt use my points, I had to use them at the time of my reservation. I was then offered a van. I said I was one person & one elderly passenger. I was then offered a SUV, and I repeated that the elderly person with a walker would be better in a 4 door sedan. I was then offered a Malibu for a total increase of $20 for the entire rental. When I walked to the garage in 32 degree weather, I was told they didnt have a Malibu and provided me with an Impala. By the time I left, my $97 rental was now $197. When I responded to the Albany Airport Enterprises email, he removed the upgrade charges for a total of $157.08. Not my typical good experience with Enterprise.
The car was in great condition and staff was very pleasant. My only complaint is that the Enterprise office at the train station was closed for Labor Day. I arranged to got to the airport to pick up the car but then was charged an additional $100 to return it to the train station. I think that Enterprise should keep offices open daily for passengers on the train or waive fees because their customers have little choice to pick up from another location.
My pre-planned vacation just happened to to be the same week hurricane Harvey hit Houston. Fortunately, I was able to get out a day earlier. Enterprise was very accommodating in that I was able to rent a car earlier the next morning instead of the afternoon. Also, instead of the Dodge Challenger that I reserved, I was upgraded, free of cost, to a Volvo. This Volvo was a V6 with leather seats, Bluetooth and Navigation included. A very nice luxury vehicle.Since my flight was cancelled back to Houston, the only available flight was for very early the next day to San Antonio. As soon as I made arrangements with the airline, I called enterprise to inform them, Id return the car 1/2 day later than the scheduled return time. They reassured me that this would not be a problem. All in all, I had no issues with the vehicle nor with pickup/drop off. This is why I only rent from Enterprise and I have for years.
Another overall good Enterprise experience was had in Albany. However, I had booked an excellent rate on line for a smaller car and was encouraged to upgrade to a larger car at the airport(I really did need it for luggage) but at a higher per day rate. Still it was acceptable and we then had a comfortable, newer car for three people.
The staff was friendly, efficient and fast. We ended up with an extra passenger and luggage, needed a bigger car and we were accomodated with a minimal increase in our fees. When we returned the car 10 days later the staff had checked us in by the time that we unloaded our bags and we were on our way.
Im always impressed with Enterprise in the way they put customer service first--being friendly, making sure you know the car, following up to make sure things are right. The folks at the Albany airport always take good care of me when I come through, which is quite a lot. Im very happy with Enterprise.
As far as the car and the rates, I would rate them at 5. HOWEVER, they get an overall ZERO rating (it wont let me post with below a one star rating) because of the following situation. I returned a car on 5/26/16. I realized VERY shortly thereafter that I had mistakenly left an item, a very expensive tactical flashlight, in the cup-holder of the center console. Within 15 MINUTES I was back t the rental location to retrieve it, giving them a full description and exact location in the car where I left it. They had already taken the car to another location to be cleaned. They phone the other location, who searched the car and claimed they found it and would bring it right over. The car jockey who came over handed me a piece of crap little LED flashlight like the ones they give away for free as promos. I told him that wasnt it and questioned him if he found this in the silver Impala (the car I had rented). I got no response as he turned his back and walked away. I confronted the Enterprise agent who called the other location. Now, they claim they cant find it, either in the car or in their lost and found items. Then I get the line about the car jockeys being a third party contractor and not Enterprise employees and they arent responsible for them. Yes, I bear responsibility for leaving it in the car. HOWEVER, given the timeframe in which I reported it to them (less than 15 minutes), the fact we all knew which car it was and the fact I told them exactly where in the car to look giving a detailed description of the flashlight, it seems clear to any rational person that someone pocketed this flashlight. And I told the Enterprise agents just that. No offer or replacement, or substitution or even an apology, except for were sorry you think we would hire third party contractors that would do that. The facts speak for themselves. Yes, Im ultimately responsible for losing my expensive flashlight but their third party contractor is responsible for Enterprise losing all my future business.
Very personable and professional. The agents in the airport facility and the gentlemen that check the vehicles and hand out the keys make you feel that they really want and value your business. Not only that, but they go above and beyond to be of assistance, i.e. helped with directions to our destinations and returned item accidentally left in in the rental vehicle. Real A+++++ employees and facility! Special thanks to Nate P. and Manager Joe!
Excellent, friendly and hassel-free service. I was leary about using Enterprise, as years ago I had some issues with my credit card being charged twice in the Orlando location. I had no problems and the gentleman at the counter was friendly and very efficient. I will use Enterprise again when I visit Albany.
My work contracts with Enterprise for car rentals, and primarily uses the Central Ave location in Albany. After a disastrous experience with that location, Ive since shifted all my business to their airport location, and could not be happier. The team is incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. I was in and out in no time flat.
Awful experience, called them at least 5 times, 3 times left a voicemail asking to call me back - zero response. I had a change in my plans and instead of returning the car to this location I had to return it to PHL airport. I wanted to ask them how much I would have to pay to drop the car off at different location. I called customer service they gave me the number but told me to contact Albany location for more info. At PHL I was blamed for multiple scratches, which were preexisting. Car had over 25k miles on it. They never marked any damage at Albany location, I asked PHL manager to call Albany location and talk to them, her response was - they never pick up the phone, waste of time. I had coverage, so Im not paying for the damage. Anyway, worst experience ever. Really thinking to switch rental companies. Since 2014 I rented about 20 times from Enterprise and really upset with the last one. Not a lot, but my average experience was much higher, I rarely post feedback, the only reason why I posted this one is - 0 communications and preexisting damage that they claimed was my fault. 99% positive that if PHL manager would be able to reach Albany location they would tell them about preexisting damage. Anyway I had coverage - dont really care. But I will think twice next time I need rental car.
I dont even know where to begin, but I just received the third statement from the toll agency and the total costs for the tolls are about twice as much as my rental cost. When I picked up the veh that morning I asked the staff if theres an ez pass in the car and they said yesterday, on the way back to the city I was looking for the ez pass and looked through the whole car and couldnt find it. So I thought at least the plates should be registered under ez pass or something so I dont have to pay the full price toll. But apparently every toll they charged my credit card are the full amount. Im so disappointed that I shouldve ask and clarify before I drove the vehicle away. When I cross the George Washington Bridge with ez pass they should charge me about 16.50, but instead the toll company charged $19. So I believe all the toll charges I paid are full amount. Im not happy with this.
Our flight was delayed out of Baltimore. A few of us called and asked about rentals because other companies closed long before our arrival. A couple of folks waited for our flight to arrive and made it possible for a lot of to carry on with their travel plans. That’s customer service.
Worst experience ever. We were going to use points and turns out that ALB for Albany, NY is really not the airport site. So we booked our reservations for a Enterprise location 10 miles away and they would not transfer the rental also I could not use my points which cost another $500 for the week. Also, the car that I wanted was not available and I ended up getting a car that was TERRIBLE - It rained almost the entire trip and every time the window wiper would go across the window it made a terrible noise due to a sticker put on the window. We also go pulled over for having and expired registration. And other great issues with ENTERPRISE - THEY WERE AWEFUL! everyone asked what they could do to make things better but they were not willing or able to do ANYTHING! Funny how companies want to empower their associates but dont give them any power to EM-POWER - OH I almost forgot the Guy we rented the car at the Enterprise Desk after asking if there were toll roads and if I need a Electronic pre-paid pass and he said no. After going through 40-50 toll roads I was pretty upset that that a local person would not know that and give us the WRONG information! Enterprise IS REALLY BAD!!!!
Not only were the prices WAAAYYY better, the customer service and patience given.... SUPERB!!!! Thank you Janna and Nathan for taking care of me and my needs, and providing an EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE especially as I traveled to the Albany Airport location from Queens, NY for this particular transaction. (For those who may read this, I did this trip because they offered the best rates for what I needed at the time, PLUS my sister lives out there so 2 for 1 deal.)
I made reservation for car rental online. I selected enterprise, then Albany Airport branch to pick up and return. This is one of the enterprise’s best locations Ive been to pick up and drop car rental. There is friendly service during office hours, and if it out office hours there is a good opportunity to park and drop keys. I enjoyed the rental.
When I picked up my rental it had damage on it so I reported it to one of the Enterprise reps and he said he would record it. Apparently he didnt because a week later I received correspondence from Enterprise requesting I make an accident report because my rental was returned damaged. I do not think I will be using Enterprise again. If you decide to use them, make sure you get it IN WRITING if there is any damage to the vehicle, and dont return it after hours or theyll accuse you of damaging it.
I have always rented through Enterprise for rental cars as the company as a whole has been wonderful UNTIL this past time I rented with this company from the Albany airport which resulted in my never wanting to use this company again. I got a flat tire on the way to the airport and was 8 minutes from ALB. I called the line for roadside assistance and talked to someone for about 30 minutes. At the end of the call, I asked if someone from the airport could come pick up the passenger I had in the car as her flight was within the hour and I got a 40 minute time estimate before help arrived. She said No we cannot do that I would suggest taking an Uber. So much for Well pick you up. From that point, I was contacted back by someone who said that since I was on the thurway, that an officer would call me to send someone out. Upon this company arriving (an hour after they said it would be 40 minutes) I was asked to pay out of my pocket the charge for him to put the spare tire on which was $88.80. This was AFTER the lady with enterprise told me this was a covered event under my rental agreement. Upon getting to the airpot, the lady who took my keys told me I needed to contact corporate Enterprise for reimbursement. Upon calling them after I got back home to NC, they did not want to refund me the money and I went to escalations. Once there, the gentlemen told me someone from the local ALB site would be in touch about reimbursement since the card I used to pay for the rental was NOT the same card I used for the spare tire change incident. I have not gotten a call and it has been a week.I am far beyond frustrated with this incident for a few reasons which include not being picked up to make it to the airport on time, to a staff member at the ALB airport saying Wow, are you going to make it? when I initially called the ALB site about the flat tire which I thought was very rude, and not correcting this situation with a refund. I will never recommend this company to anyone when I used to swear by Enterprise. Unless this can get resolved, you have lost customers for life. I originally sent this to someone who contacted me from the Albany store for feedback almost a week ago with no response either.
Mixed, at best. Car selection: at airport desk, agent said Impala; at pick-up point, staff said not available...gave me Ford Fusion hybrid. Two days later, car would not start. Your 800 person had great difficulty: airport car switch did not show up on your records, had trouble figuring out where I called from (told her repeatedly Rutland VT), call took more than 30 minutes to complete, another 45 minutes for service to show up; car was jump-started and towed away! 800 person did not offer any car switch info. Fortunately, my host interceded and took me to your Rutland office where vehicle switch was handled expeditiously by Kerri. Car provided was a Dodge Journey (clunky) -- frequent drivetrain/suspension noise on turns & acceleration, I had to change speedo & climate controls from metric to US (Ontario license plate) indicator light called for oil change. Trip completed, car returned; check-in agent (Joe) made rate adjustment. First such bad experience in years of occasional car rental. Unsure of future choice.
There really isnt much of a choice for rental car companies in Hermiston Oregon. That being said, the Enterprise representative in Hermiston was professional, kind and courteous. Overall it was a very good experience. I am going to use them for my next car rental needs.
We paid for and expected a full size vehicle (Altima or similar) and received a compact Chevy Trax, which was a very tight fit for us as well as our bags. We travel a lot and are always pleased with our vehicles but this was a bit of a disappointment. Especially being an Enterprise member.
The car (a Ford Fiesta) had tire problems (as well as acceleration problems)- the rim wouldnt hold the seal so the low tire warning light came on all the time and I had to re-inflate every day. Also the window glass was dirty and the windshield fluid reservoir was empty. When I returned the car, the attendant asked what she could do to make it right. I asked for $100 off the rental price. She hemmed and hawed and fiddled with her hand-held device, and said she would speak with her manager, and they would do something. I had to make a plane, so couldnt hang around. Ive checked back periodically, and nothing has been done in the way of a rebate. I guess Ill try Hertz next time.
Everything went perfectly. Rebecca Prado was our customer service rep and she made sure everything went smoothly. We were unhappy with the first car she offered us as it was not clean and ready to go, so she switched us to a different car without further discussion. Thanks Rebecca!.
Well am very disappointed and unhappy with the way I was miss Informed wen I book my rental..they day before mothers day. I called and book it and Was told that I can use a debit card at the airport location.. wen infact I couldnt.. spoke to the agent who book it and told him I didnt want to waste my time or money on a cab from my home to the airport if I couldnt use it he said yes you can so I want and try to pick up the rental at 5:30 PM got there and was turn away do to companys policy which I wasnt aware off because I was told I could use my debit card am a regular customer and had you use the rental place by were I live in Schenectady ny.. but they were close at 1pm ..So not only was my mother day ruined do to this matter I would never use them again .. cause I lost out on seeing my mother in the cemetery in NJ .. I rely was heart broken that I was not able to see her in 2 year because were I work as a manager am required to working long hour and 6 day a week my only day was that sun off . While good bye enterprise you lost a great customer..because someones didnt know what they were talking about ... M.M
The Albany team was great, The Herkimer NY team needs customer service training!!!!! Arrived at the Herkimer facility at 9:00am to drop off car, walked in and Enterprise employee said you dropping off just give me the keys and we will send receipt later, 2 days later still no receipt so I called and they said, just call Albany office and see if they can help you.
The return of my rental from sac to modesto was bungled at both ends.was charged by airport for coverages i declined. when i returned it back to modesto the agent spent over 10 minutes checking the mileage and gas...should have been a minute. the coverage charges were finally declined after 15 minutes and me producing the pink copy clearly showing me declining the coverage. kind of an outlyer because overall this office in modesto and sac were both normally very professional. even got a free upgrade to a pimping chevy impala poor mans caddy in a previous ride to modesto.just noticed this was for albany not the other end of my flight. usu. good luck with albany. sometimes refuse to answer the phone in person for days but usu. end up with a very nice car...for last 5 weeks a Nisan Rogue awd suv.
The service reps at the rental desk and garage in Albany were great, friendly and complete. Unfortunately, I left my expensive sunglasses on the passenger seat when I dropped the car off at Newark Airport. When I contacted Enterprise at Newark Airport, they responded to say that they did not find them. The sunglasses were left in such an open, visible position that it would be impossible not to find them. Ill say no more.
Horrible frontend. Refused to add an additional driver because they didnt have a major CC (Not legal in NYS). Could hear the manager refusing to rent without a credit card (Also not legal). The parking lot people were just fine to deal with, and for a change the car was in good shape.I hate it when I have to rent from them, but being a holiday weekend, they were the only ones with a one-day rate.Letter is already off to the AGs office, debating about sending one to the local media as well.
I booked a car online for $79.00 a day for two days. My total at checkout was $379.00 for 2 days! They dont show the fees and taxes online, beware. I really learned my lesson, after I got back I saw I could have rented for the same two days at Enterprise for $36.00 TOTAL had I booked it through Costco. I will never book directly with Enterprise again!

2021-12-27Don’t normally post about airport rental cars but found dealing with a young man named Sam at this location (Albany Airport) was a very easy and pleasant experience. He greeted us quickly, had our vehicle ready, was very quick in handling the rental contract and sent us on our way. Thanks Enterprise and Sam for making our trip a little smoother. Note: I have rented cars over 100 times but this is my first time reviewing. This is the way car rentals should happen every time.

2022-05-09Best customer experience I can remember having anywhere. All due to Danielle Not just in car rental, best customer experience Ive had in any situation. I travel for work, usually three weeks a month domestically. Im also in customer service so I recognize the usual dos and dont. Danielle works as if she wrote the book on taking care of a customer. Enterprise is very lucky to have her. She would be a great fit to run any team in most any situation. Id hire her in a heartbeat for here in Dallas. Cheers.

2022-04-12Definitely one of the best car rental experiences i’ve ever had. The person at the desk was extremely friendly, however they didn’t have the correct type of car I wanted. But they were able to contact one of their cleaners who brought up a car for me. I must say the cleaning job that he did was amazing and he definitely deserves a raise. The car has nearly 20,000 miles on it, but it looked like it was brand new! That super handsome boy in the colorful clothes (i believe his name was matthew) that brought me my car was by far the best thing that has ever happened in my car renting experience. From now on i will only be renting if he is the one to clean my car!

2022-05-16We had a change in plans and were required to alter our travel arrangements. My wife eand I had to return to the Albany International Airport. I thought what car rental company could help in providing an economical option on obtaining a vehicle. Enterprise had options that fit that requirement. Your represenative Catylin G. was very helpful in placing us into an upgraded Pacifica at that airport. All worked well, hence when all ends well it was a good experience in renting with Enterprise.

2022-04-14After having a horrible experience at the enterprise in the kingston location who are scammers. My wife and i decided to head to the airport location. An absolutely great ending to a horrible day. That guy Ely (if thats how his name is spelled) took wonderful care and made it extremely easy for my wife and i. This is the how people should be treated. I appreciate the service and for taking great care of us. Thanks a million.

2021-10-05I arrived in Albany from Atlanta around 6PM and I went to the Enterprise desk to get my car. I was a little stressed to see that there was no one there. I had to call customer service to find out what was going on. There were lines at the other rental companies. Customer service explained to me that they worked with other companies such as National and I think Budget when they didnt have their counter staffed. I found National across the street and was able to finally get a vehicle. The vehicle class I wanted was not available but I did get a truck. It really wasnt that bad of an experience in the end but an email or text telling me to expect this would have been nice. Some type of communication with your customers prior to their arrival would be a good idea.

2021-10-08We rented from the Albany, NY airport. Quincy took good care of us and suggested some places to visit during our stay and we had a rental car very quickly. We were thankful to get a car given recent national shortages and stories of no cars at airports. The reason for the poor review is that the car we were given had not been properly cleaned. I’m not sure what happened but there was mud and grass in the back seat areas that would have been easy to see by the car cleaners if they had even attempted to clean the vehicle. Overall, the car was very dirty and obvious that very little time was spent in cleaning. The car operated properly but required maintenance warnings were coming up during the time we had it. Overall, a less than satisfying experience. I hope this is not a sign of the new status quo for Enterprise.

2021-07-15I wish there was a no star option!!I picked up a car from enterprise located on State St, Schenectady. When I picked up the car it was on E (fine) I just had to return it on E. When I got out of the car to put gas in it my bottom was soaked! I turned around and I pressed my hand on the drivers seat and water came pouring out! And this point the Schenectady office was closed, and the only local office that was open at the time was Albany Airport. I called customer service right away told them what happened and they said no problem we can get you switched out to a different car located in Albany. I drove there when I got to the location. I explained to the lady what happened and she told me that the only car she has for me was a smaller (what I originally rented) a Chevy Spark. I asked her if she had anything bigger she said no. Then told me “I can refuse to switch a car out for you” and THREW THE KEYS AT ME! I asked for a manager she said that she was(which later I found out was a lie!) since she told me there was no cars bigger than the spark, I told her your lying to me since every customer you helped you asked if the wanted an UPGRADE! At this point I was very upset. I called customer service again and asked for there help since I was getting no where with this so called manager… I explained the whole situation to customer care and they couldn’t believe how I was treated with such disrespect. Plus, she wanted me to drive around town with a wet seat!My whole family rents with Enterprise even my uncles who are police officers their Precent has an account with Enterprise. After 3 hours on the phone and trying to get in something bigger a driver pulls up in a ready to go Toyota! Another employee over hears what has happened to me and asks if i want to rent this car, I said yes please. So glad I was able to get into something more comfortable!Once I was about to leave this SAME LADY “Manager” starts in with another guest! I wish that Lady Luck and told her that she threw keys at me!The worst service I had ever received at Enterprise! I will not be renting a car again at Albany Airport.

2021-08-22I use Enterprise all the time for business, even stuck with them during COVID. Rent a vehicle for one week of every month. I book full size cars and yet every time lately they try putting me in something smaller because of no full size available. When I tell them I booked and paid for full size, the rep tries convincing me a smaller size is full size. Last time I landed in a Nissan Kick. That is not a full size car. May start looking for a more reliable alternative with service reps who care about loyal customers.

2021-07-14We rented an suv from enterprise back in March for a July holiday. Thankfully it was available as there is a huge shortage of vehicle inventory. I asked to upgrade to a truck and Jared was kind enough to offer the platinum series F150. What a truck! Great ride, great gas mileage, and a great overall experience with Enterprise. Albany Airport enterprise was quick and efficient. Become a member and enter all your details ahead of time and skip the lines. 5☆
