Professional individuals as always at the McGuiness location. Cars are kept clean, in good condition and the professionalism in the workers is above and beyond amazing.In a time where many individuals take for granted the customer service that is needed, the staff at Enterprise on McGuiness continue to do the right thing and improving.I have been continuing to rent from here when I need a vehicle and have no longer used the others.To the entire staff at McGuiness, continue to do your best, dont lose the awesome customer service and be proud....there are times I am sure they meet a customer that is not so friendly but the staff does everything to continue making a renters day a good one.Thank you
While booking my reservation on their website, I wasnt notified about the $300 deposit that they hold, on top of whatever it cost to rent a vehicle until I actually got there to pick up the car. The price went from $112 just to rent the car to $412 in total. And that did not include the insurance. Thats up to you if you want. Then they needed to see additional confirmation that I am who I say I am, on top of my NY STATE drivers license with my picture on it & the card I used to pay for everything with my full name on it. No no that wasnt enough. They also wanted to see a utility bill! Some sort of gas or electric bill with my name & address. I also was not notified when I made the reservation about making sure I had some sort of utility bill on hand. Luckily I had it on my phone. I booked a Nissan Maxima or similar (which I guess they consider a premium vehicle). First of all they didnt have the Maxima. Ok thats perfectly fine. No Problem. So youd assume something similar. Nope! The gentleman said because Im paying with my debit card, (that he charged $400+ to already) he cant give me a similar premium vehicle. That he can only give me a lower end vehicle & for the same price! He gave me a Nissan Kicks SV. Another Thing I Wasnt notified about while making that reservation. And That $300 Deposit that they hold while you are renting the car.. It might not be back in your bank account until 2-3 business days later depending on your bank. So Im just never renting a car from Enterprise Ever Again. Im good. Zero stars!!!
I love this office as the staff is very friendly and professional. As I live in the neighborhood, sometimes I returned my rental car there which I didnt get from this office. They never gave me hard time and instead they give me a convenient ride home. In the past year, I kept renting cars from Enterprise. Not only in the same office they work as a team, but also between the offices in different locations they work as a team. This is a great value to the customer. Im very satisfied with Enterprise service.
Recently rented a car for my sons birthday and the experience was awesome. Very happy and respectful people. I had no wait time, my paper work was processed in a timely manner and the vehicle was clean and in good condition. In fact they were able to give me a car that wasnt driven. Would recommend friends and family to this location and I would definitely use them again .
I had to rent a car because my car was being repaired. This location was very accommodating. My first car got a flat tire. I brought it to the location, they gave me a new car with no problems. I had forgotten my EZ Pass, they found it and set it aside for me to pick up. I came a few minutes after closing and they took the car in with no hesitations. Everyone was friendly and helpful! Id definitely use this location again!
I took a car for a full month, reservation for full size car. They didnt have full size cars and refused to give me anything bigger, only smaller which would not have fit my needs. After I got home they called me that they have a full size car for me, I had to go get it, costing me THREE WHOLE HOURS of headache and hassle for no reason! They refused to provide any sort of compensation. I tried contacting the headquarters, was told I will get a call back, but that never happened.
Picked up a car here to drive it back to Toronto since my flight got cancelled. It was last minute.The girl that works there picked me up at my hotel well on time - had a great convo with her during the pick up, she handled everything for me while also giving me a free upgrade. GREAT experience and a lot of support when I needed it the most. Their staff is the best.5/5
Very great customer service and it was a great experience using them. However, I had 2 issues with them,1) I used them once a nice guy there start to serve me and prepare a good vehicle for me, but then a nasty guy came out and said that Im underage for this one so he had to choose another one.2) I once had to head over to another location to get a vehicle from there, even though I had an existing reservation at that location.
Definitely had a great experience here at this location. Adam Connelly and Dustin (Never got his last name), were AWESOME. These 2 gentlemen got me into a car within minutes. Very friendly staff, fast service and they are informative. First time renting a car and honestly, it was the best experience and I will be going to this location again. Thank you Adam and Dustin.
Great to have a major chain in the neighborhood without having to schlep to LaGuardia. Very nice staff, accommodating and courteous. Wish it was a bit less expensive, but hey, it’s car rental. They know they have you over a barrel, every single one of them. At least these people treat you well and have nice cars.
Constant changes in this locations policies and procedure. I have had an issue 3/3 times of using this service. It’s really disappointing because the staff is great at being personable. Once I was charged almost $700 due to being double authorized for price plus incidentals. More than likely I will choose a different rental company or at the very least location.
The initial rental process was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the car I rented was washed before I arrived. But They let u know upfront that they will take an Extra $250 out on top of the original cost of the rental and once u bring the car back you u will get the $250 back... I returned the car back with a full tank and no damages. it’s been a week and I have yet to receive my money. I was told that because I extended the reservation for a few more days(that I was charged for) I’m not intitled to the $250. Which makes nosense to me because I should not have been charge for the extra days if the $250 was added to the total amount.
Hands down one of the best Enterprise branches in all of New York City. Everyone I deal with is pleasant and although there may be a few lines here and there, once you are being served you can be in and out within 10 minutes. Also, one of the most important perks of this branch and Enterprise in general is more times than often, you get a choice of vehicle in the class you have a reservation for.This is a great branch, couldnt recommend them enough.
Overall, Ive been pleased with the service and costumer satisfaction at the Williamsburg Enterprise car rental office. I rented on three separate occasions and each time I was satisfied.On the very first--a 9am reservation, there was a timing issue with the pickup driver, but the rental representative credited me for the driver not making it and covering the cab cost.Manager Jean and assistant manager Devin were particularly helpful in satisfying my requests and adjustments.
We were early for our pu in a smaller, very busy agency but were treated well by everyone we came in contact with. Thankfully, we we upgraded to a larger vehicle as the extra space came in handy. We were late for drop off at closing time, but again were treated with respect and thoughtfulness. Great experience!
Was in serious need of a vehicle and time didnt allow for me to travel to the airport. Thankfully this location has cars available (thanksgiving week).Location has very largw signage so you definitely wont miss it.Pickup process was seamless. Dustin was very friendly and made sure the vehicle i rented was what I wanted. Very polite and helpful gentlemen.I want to say this location has an additional storage space for vehicles has the lot right in front isnt very big, holds maybe 10 cars, but they advertise that they rent exotic vehicles (Ferrari. Aston Martin, Porsche, etc. Too bad you need your own insurance along with theirs to rent these exotics) So I want to say this location has a near by garage or additional area where they keep their additional vehicles.It is not the closest enterprise to me, and I usually go with Budget as they are the cheaper rental company, but Ill definitely be renting from this location again.
Customer service was great but the car was to pricey, dirty, and the brake was bad. I will not be using them again. I paid over $300 for two day. When I made my reservation online I thought the insurance was included because they dont mention the extra cost online. They wait until you get there and its hard to change your mind there. Insurance is $30 a day.
I couldn’t believe how fast and easy the process was to pick up a car from here. I’ve rented from other agencies with 1-2 people on staff answering calls, checking cars, checking you in and out for almost 20 minutes. This place was the complete opposite experience - enough people there to get me in and out within 10 minutes. I will definitely rent from here again!
Great rental! Love their pick ups..But i think the till 25 year policy is discriminatory ;) to us young people!why in the world cant i rent above standard size vehicles? I think it should rather have to do with how many years a person is actively driving... Rather than just a age.. I mean a person who gets his license at 26 and doesnt even drive more than a couple of hours is way more prone to scratch the car..
Fast service, however few months ago they had to charge you 500 for safe deposit if you want to rent a car, and it had to be a CREDIT CARD not debit:/ I needed a car, because mine was at the dealer and I was limited for walking. I didnt have 500$ credit card only in debit, and they refused to rent a car for me:/ Now they hold $50 deposit and its much better developped.
Few things make me as mad as companies taking advantage of good [return] customers, and this Enterprise location has finally crossed the line between what Im able to turn a blind eye to. Weve rented cars from them 3 times now.. something being slightly off each time. Once, we left the lot only to discover our rear signaling light was out. Had to waste time driving back, waiting for another car to be readied. Second, we reserved a car for as soon as they opened on a Sunday, showed up early, but had to wait an additional twenty minutes because they had to fill the tires with air... we had a reservation - you knew we were coming, why did you not prepare?! I considered those things minor annoyances, but most recently, we rented a car - drove up to Albany, parked it in a hotel parking lot overnight, and drove back the next day. Upon return, someone named Jordan, told us there was a dent on the passenger door. It was barely visible, in fact - in a photo we showed to several people - they didnt even see anything - but thats besides the point. We explained that it was literally impossible that we were responsible for this dent because in the 24 hours we had this car - the only place it was left on its own and susceptible to damage was in the hotel parking lot. Which - coincidentally - our spot was near a lawn/curb so there was ZERO chance that anyone could have dinged it on the passenger side by parking next to it. We held out hope that after leaving the grubby hands of one inexperienced employee in one location, we could reason with the claims department of enterprise. That was foolish of us - we were just sent paperwork... twice - duplicates, actually - because apparently efficiency is also a weak point of this company, in addition to just being greedy & full of BS, and then we were sent a bill for $300+. No further investigation, no acknowledgement of a dispute. Total garbage way to handle everything. I will 100% be advising everyone I know to steer clear of this place, will always choose AVIS/HERTZ at all airports, and will be using Silvercar (Northside Williamsburg) for any further rentals I need from North Brooklyn. If for some reason you MUST go here, document EVERYTHING. Take a video of the walk around the car, and take pics of everything - otherwise, good luck dealing with these liars and shelling out extra money for no reason.
Rude.Vehicles are parked all over down both sides of the streets.You can tell there is tension between the staff and the neighboring businesses.High turnover of office staff.Unknown inventory.Constantly blocking the Fire hydrant in front of their own business at all times including the overnight!
First and foremost if you are Hispanic with tattoos don’t even bother going into this place of buisiness. The gentlemen from the moment my fiancé and I walked in judged us. He started to ask my fiancé while looking up the reservation we made a week ago where is it exactly he works and what’s the name of the buisiness. Which I found extremely rude. He than attempted to slide our credit and than stated we wouldn’t be able to rent the car. Than he just gave us a hard time and stated we won’t be able to try and use the same card like we were credit card scammers which I took very personal because We both have actual careers. I was disgusted by his customer service skills and how unengaged he was with us. The worst experience I’ve ever encountered.
The entire car rental experience last week at this Enterprise Brooklyn location was outstanding! From the speedy pickup at our service station, to the equally speedy rental process, to the assurance by phone that the car was ok to drive in spite of the dashboard warning light, to the suggestion by phone that a dropoff nearer to my home might be better for me, all Enterprise transactions just could not have been better.Although I am a member of a competing car rental company, Enterprise will be the go to rental company for me from now on.
After being recently hit in an accident Thank Gd I am ok now and im very thankful for that. but I was bit devastated that i wont have my vehicle for at lease 7 days due to the much needed repair. Luckily his insurance covered a Loaners car from Enterprise Car Rental. I had an amazing experience with a the branch in Williamsburgh, (Brooklyn,NY) They picked me up from Work (a good 10 min drive) then the service was fabulous especially Rookie Ryan Mc.T. (and manager Kaitleen :)) and asst Manager Jean G. was superb and very understanding!! Overall had a great experience and the staff ROCKS!!keep up your great work!!Jack B.
Great overall. I just dont like the fact I was charged a small fee for a small upgrade because thats all thats on the lot. It was only $10 and they charged it to the radio so I had that. But it didnt really matter to me. I want the price Im quoted. Shouldnt be too hard to ask.
I went to Enterprise on McGuinnes Blvd, because I needed a car to go to a funeralEveryone was very sweet and helpful. The booking was done very quickly, theypicked me up at my home, which is greatly appreciated as I dont live near by andthey also took me home.I am very grateful that they are open on Saturdays and Sundays as I onlyneeded the car for one day.Enterprise is my go to place whenever I need a vehicle
Enterprise a great place to go and rent a car they have many cars available and the service is outstanding self distancing itll be one person coming towards you you can do everything online with reservations and the service is absolutely great walked in rented a 2020 BMW for a hundred and forty bucks a month it was the quickest 20 minutes I have ever experienced and a car rental and the service woman was really nice and was so humble I recommend Enterprise on 10th Avenue and Greenpoint to anyone that wants to rent a vehicle Like Crazy Eddie used to say the prices are insane so come to Enterprise and rent your next car to visit family and friends and enjoy your rental
I rented a van to move some motorcycles down to South Jersey from Brooklyn last weekend. I was fed up with the poor customer service at Uhaul, so I decided to try Enterprise. The vehicle was brand new and a joy to drive. The team at the McGuiness Enterprise was extremely friendly and helpful. My thanks to Alex and his team, I would suggest this location to anyone looking to rent a car or truck.
Wednesday 12/2/15 I had the displeasure of going to this location and I was not only disheartened, but sadly I think I am doing them a service by giving them one star! The staff was not professional at all and interestingly it looked more like a romper room than a business. I know New York is going through a “hipster renaissance”, so to speak, but they were just way too lax and inattentive for me. What’s more you could even see the surprises on their faces when they watched the Manager unfairly treat me. It was the weirdest experience I ever had and it was clearly because he, his staff, and I knew he wasn’t being honest when he said he had no room for my drop-off. Btw, I took photos of the empty spots in the parking lot as I left, which I won’t post unless requested. In addition, I find there is no camaraderie between the other Enterprise locations within the Brooklyn area, like I see in Queens (Middle Village my fav!) and Upstate, NY (Brewster my fav! & Albany just to name a few) have. This location needs serious re-training!!!! In the meanwhile, I plan to avoid this location like the plague.
It’s hard to say thank you when you don’t remember everyones name. This location was beyond helpful to me when I was stressing and going through hard times.They didn’t know I was going through it but just being kind was enough to make me feel it wasn’t the end.From Brooklyn to Miami they were there all I can say and do at this moment is say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. This is the worst rental experience. Were from abroad ans when trying to rent a car, our bank put a hold on the account due security reasons. We didnt have phone to call our bank, so we just left but Enterprise still charged us $250. We have been calling the Greenpoint location to cancel the charge but they refuse to help us since we didnt have contract in place (didnt rent the car). Now all we have is $250 charge from enterprise and no one there to help us.
It was about 3 weeks ago, I rented a car for a week from you guys, it came all dirty and then after leaving I realized that none of the outlets are working so I was basically screwed without a phone or GPS, finally when I returned it a week later I called you about it so you guys gave me a pacifier by telling me that you will take just $20 off my bill and that’s the most you can do, so I said well ok if that’s all you can do…. Then right after I left the place I realized that you guys made a mistake and you didn’t take anything off the bill so I called up and they said “oh I’m sorry we will put this extra $ back on to your card” then 2 weeks later I saw that the $ is still not back on my card so I called you guys up and the guy on the phone without even asking me my name he told me “the money will be back on your card tomorrow” (that was last week) that was a little strange but then I thought maybe he saw my name on the caller ID so he knows my story, now a week later I still don’t have my $$$ back !!! I figured rather than call and being a fool again ill just write this review

2022-02-05I’ve rented from here probably 7-8 times and every time it’s an absolutely delight. The staff and professional and friendly. The vehicles are top notch. Any issue I’ve ever had with a vehicle has been resolved promptly. Wish I could give more stars! Best rental location of any company in New York City!

The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful in explaining contract details, and helping me change the drop-off for my reservation. I couldnt recommend them highly enough!

2022-03-02Had a really amazing experience with both pickup and dropoff at this Enterprise. This was my first time renting and driving in the city and I was quite nervous, but I felt the staff here led me in the right direction on insurance in a way that helped me feel at ease throughout our trip. Plus, they all were friendly and had a good sense of humor, making the entire transaction feel a lot less stuffy and clerical than it can. They said multiple times that customer service was a big priority for them, and it showed. Youll have a great experience renting from the team here.

2021-12-02Went to this enterprise at about 4:15pm to pick up an insurance rental with my mom and was met with the most unprofessional and unethical work environment. Avoid this one if you can.As soon as we walked in we felt tension, kind of like if we walked in at the wrong time.There were two workers a guy and a girl.No one greeted us or asked us if we needed help, and none were with a client. They kind of just avoided us and lowered their gaze.We weren’t sure if to approach someone or not.I feel the need to unfortunately mention this, My mom is a Spanish immigrant. They mocked and laughed at her English pronunciation and made her repeat herself several times before helping her, even though I was there and helping her through the process. I speak fluent English. She even requested and asked if anyone there spoke Spanish and could assist her. No one responded. There was just silence. Her questions and concerns were not acknowledged.We expressed that it was the first time we pick up a rental through the insurance coverage and asked if they could explain it to us and assist we would greatly appreciate it. There was no response. I didn’t get the girls name but eventually Mustafah, I believe is his name, started entering my moms information. He kept huffing and puffing under his breath and taking it out on the tablet screen by tapping it unnecessarily hard. We could tell he did not want to help us.He told us he needed the auto shop information in order to proceed, it took us about five min to retrieve because we didn’t know the name nor the address off the top of our heads and he was upset and reacted as if we were wasting his time. Which we apologized for unnecessarily. He kept reminding us that they were closing soon even though we got there around 4:15pm and they close at 5pm.After SEVERAL other mishaps and more whispering back and forth with the other girl that was there. They told my mom she would have to pay about 12 dollars a day for rental. And asked for a credit card without explaining that it was actually an “upgrade” they were giving us.My mom asked why, and could it please be explained because the insurance told her she wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket. She couldn’t afford to pay more than what she was already paying.His response was that if we wouldn’t have taken so long looking for the auto shop address the client that came in afterwards wouldn’t have taken the last car covered under the insurance and we would’ve had a car. And shrugged. He said maybe you’ll have better luck if you come tomorrow.It was pretty humiliating to go to an establishment expecting a level of service and walking out without answers/alternatives. And overall no help/ empathy. The lack of professionalism and rudeness was beyond anything we have experienced. It left a sour taste.Manners and a little bit of empathy go along way. You potentially lost a family of loyal customers.

2021-08-09As difficult, and complicated as renting a car has become in NYC, Enterprise RAC has restored my faith in customer service reps, thanks to the help of 2 very kind, patient, helpful and personable young men named Miguel, and Brandon. Hands down, these 2 made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. I have nothing but great things to say about this location. Nick, whom I believe is the office manager, was also very easy to work with and speak to. 3 cheers for Enterprise!!!

2021-09-07Don’t even bother going to Hertz. This branch is great. When I had trouble with another NYC branch, I called and Nick came to the rescue in no time flat. The man at the front desk Paul was very kind and got me in my car ASAP. Thanks guys! Absolute life savers.

2021-01-11The car was clean looked clean I sprayed it down with my own Lysol just to be safe. I had no complaints the car was in very good condition drove good and was safe. The employees are very friendly and helpful and I will definitely be going back to this location in the near future
