Rented a car from them while my car was in the shop. The whole car was nice and clean 100%. They was nice to pick me up to their location so I can get the vehicle. I had the car for 3 days where I was we end up having rain storm. Wipers was horrible I called asked if they can be changed. I was told to bring it to auto shop they wouldn’t help the shop get paid for oil change and wipers. I had to pay out of pocket and they said I would get a refund for it. I spend 70$ on wipers. Best kind. I only get back 10$ refund thanks a lot will definitely not going back after this no more. Watch guys if car needs anything they rather have you die cause you can’t see out the window
I utilize the Clifton Park location for Enterprise regularly. I am treated personably and never have a bad word to say about their extreme customer service. Its very refreshing to know I can depend on them all the time and not have to worry about the vehicle I need to be ready to go when I need it. I used to use the airport rentals but found that this establishment suits my needs much better!
JAROD seriously needs some diversity training in my opinion, Ive been renting from Enterprise going on 5 years Now... NEVER had a problem until THIS particular location, I feel as if I was PROFILED from the minute I walked in, not ONLY was he asking me to disclose my personal finance information but.... He also implied that I wasnt able to pay for the extension. VERY poor customer service. Not sure if it was the color of my skin but.... it was a horrible experience all together.
Whenever I rent a car my first instinct is to contact Enterprise Rent-A-Car first. No matter when, and no matter what office Im renting from my experiences have always been positive. Actually, positive is something of an injustice. The process has always been smooth and easy. The staff has always been professional and friendly. engine and in the few cases that there has been some small snag, the staff has always tackled the issue swiftly and aggressively find a resolution. What can I say? They are number one in my book.zzz
This is the second time that I have rented a car recently and the car stinks of smoke. It is pretty disgusting. Especially when you are driving for many hours at one time.Enterprise needs to check their cars and make sure they stink of smoke moving forwardThe people who work at Enterprise are very nice but no car replacement since they were low on cars.
I needed to rent a car for 2 days while my car was getting repairs. The staff at Enterprise was so helpful and polite. I was first given a car that didnt suit me I called and Brian said to come back in and he had a brand new fully loaded ford fusion ready for me. I loved this car it was so fun to drive. I would highly recommend renting a car from them.
I use Enterprise Rental car very often whether it is for business or pleasure and I have always been very satisfied. I would like to talk about my last experience over the weekend though. My company as been very busy so all our trucks were being used so i called up the Clifton Park Office and not only did they have one for me Rebecca had me on my way in less three minutes. Everything went really smooth with the van. To my surprise which as never happened before is that i received a follow up call from Rebecca and it just made my day that she cared enough to reach out and ask me how everything went. She is a true professional and I am truly appreciative of her customer service!! Great Job!
I had a very positive experience , car was well maintained and clean when I picked it up. It handled very well. All the people I dealt with were polite and extremely friendly and helpful, especially when I had to go back after returning car to pick up garage door opener. I would rent from Enterprise again if the need arises.
Overall a very good experience here. I rent here 3-4 x year and I am quite pleased with this service. The staff are very helpful and the price is extremely reasonable. Two negatives: One: It is no longer possible to park your own car on their lot. They will pick you up at home, but this means no after-hours drop-offs. Two: On my most recent rental, the car was a bit dinged up and the driver side carpet was salt stained and had a rather large hole in it. This was atypical, usually the cars provided are quite clean and have no visible damage. I consider Enterprise my go-to car rental service. I will return there for my next rental and would recommend it to anyone.
I rented here multiple times in a short time frame because my personal vehicle needed a number of repairs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Its good to know I have this service nearby and that I will have a good experience. I wont look elsewhere when renting locally.I would rate them at 4.5 stars if I could. Dinging the operation .5 stars for not having space for customers to leave their personal vehicles. They do pick you up and the drivers are great, but sometimes its more convenient to simply leave your car.
I really hesitated to leave a one-star review, because I cannot say enough positive things about the quality of the customer service at this location. I dont think Ive ever seen a team hustle as much as these guys do to make sure that people move quickly in and out of this office. My 1 star rating is because I have a long history of having problems with cars with cigarette smoke. Im not sure how the corporate Logistics work, but I know these guys are always scrambling to make sure that everyone has a car who has a reservation. So my critique is more directed towards corporate because they clearly do not have a handle on how to deal with cigarette smoke issues. If I were asked how they could make this right, I would suggest that they start paying my dry cleaning bills because cleaning suits is not cheap.
Best enterprise in the region. Friendly staff. they get you in and out quickly and with ease. I cannot tell you how many times I have tried to rent a car from Saratoga Enterprise only to be turned away over some insignificant detail, never have I had this problem at Clifton Park.The staff is the same every time I go there, which is opposite of Saratoga (whom appears to have all new staff every time I step foot in the place) and they usually remember me, making the checkout process more personal and quicker. They are fun, friendly, professional and treat people with respect.I will only go to Clifton Park Enterprise from now on, they have given me nothing but respect and professionalism at every visit. Thank you very much!
Easy to rent. Ready when we got there. Couldnt figure out the password for the Bluetooth connection and when I called the Clifton Park rental office she gave me a few suggestions but couldnt fix it over the phone. Also when we returned it there was an $8 discrepancy of what we were told the car would cost and then they charged our credit card $8 more.
I receive great service at my local Enterprise, the cars are clean, the staff is friendly and always asks how my experience with them was. Overall I would recommend them very highly. My only gripe is that occasionally I would request a smaller vehicle, (i.e. sedan) and receive an upgrade to a larger vehicle for free. I understand that smaller vehicles may not always be available, however the upgrade to larger less fuel efficient vehicle meant more out of my pocket for gas during my longer trips. If there was anything Enterprise could do to minimize the additional cost due to unavailability, I think many people would appreciate it.

The Manager Rebecca D. always exceeds my expectations going above and beyond to make my experience perfect. The team is consistently delivering great service!! Excellent customer service. Saw few negative remarks online about other Enterprise location regarding after hours returns but Joseph and Rebecca made sure to address my fears. Now i am comfortable about renting on weekend and returning after hours. Better rates than other Enterprise facilities around this area and big variety of vehicles. Made rental reservations for rest of the 2018 since i have a set schedule to travel. Strongly recommend! Thank you!
Went to this facility at 5:15 pm they were still open. Looked like some of the associates were washing the vehicle they were gonna go home with while another associate in a gentleman gave us the price on a rental for a Nissan pickup the price was 94.95. we asked him if he could do any better and he then said at that point actually if u dont have any reservations we cant rent to you tonight. Was told he could give me a reservation for tomorrow we decided not to do that. We exited the facility talking to one another that that was very unprofessional. So we went north on route 9 to Hertz.
I have rented many times from Clifton Park Enterprise and as usual very friendly and very helpful. In the past the agent would work very hard to get me to take the upgrade ( usually for not much money) this time the best the manager could offer me a slightly larger vehicle for over $400 for the 9 days that I had the car. Just not worth it. Renting from Thriffy next month to see what kind of deals they can offer.
I have rented from this Enterprise for at least 10 years. I am a cranky, demanding, entitled old man and quite honestly, enjoy complaining far more than I should.My ONLY complaint about Clifton Park Enterprise, Rebecca, Joe and their rotating cast of staffers, is that I can find nothing about which to complain related to the cars, people, systems and procedures, pricing and customer treatment - all is 100%.When I make a reservation and go to pick up the vehicle, it is always there, always ready to go, always clean and fresh smelling. I have asthma, am very sensitive to residual smoke smells, and have never had that problem with any car or van from Enterprise. The vehicles are always in top operating condition, and are often waiting for me warmed up and running in the winter.Joe and Rebecca are both bright enthusiastic young people, and again, being honest, are a joy to be around. They are positive and professional, know their business, and suggest that all is not doomed in the younger generations of Americans.As I read these reviews it amazes me what people find to complain about. 3 stars because the place is ugly? Give me a break pal; if you want luxury and visual appeal in the waiting room for a car replacement, go to a Lexus or Infiniti dealer, leave your car, pay big bucks for a loaner, and be done with it. The reason Enterprises prices are so low is that the money goes into essentials, not water sculpture in the waiting rooms.Another poor rating included the phrase I dont look like a professor. The complainant was ethnic and young and wondered if that contributed to her perceived mistreatment. I have been at Enterprise enough times to see how other customers are treated, customers of all ethnicities, ages, and perceived economic status. The unfailing courtesy and respect shown to customers amazes me; everyone is treated as if the success of the entire company hangs on that one transaction. Oh, wait a minute - it does and the staff at Enterprise Clifton Park are extremely aware of it.Thats it for now - I will rent another 5 or 6 times and leave a follow up review.
I have been renting cars from Enterprise for 3 years now and am almost a gold-tier member. I have rented cars from this location often and have been very pleased with the quality of service. For a small town, they do have a great selection of cars! They treat loyal customers extremely well. A shoutout to Anthony, who has been very helpful and accommodating everytime I have rented cars from here. All in all - great customer service, great selection of cars and after-hours drop off makes it convenient. Right there is more than one reason to rent cars from here!
Booked a full size car through your Queensbury, NY facility. When I showed up there were zero cars on the lot and nobody knew exactly when one would arrive. I had to do the work of finding a rental at another Enterprise facility in Clifton Park,NY. When I arrived there they also had no cars available. I was upgraded to a Jeep Patriot. Any full size car would have been, by far, better than this POS. The Jeep could barely get out of its own way and the A/C blew warm air. This was certainly a downgrade in my opinion. I returned the Jeep within the hour stating I could not drive this vehicle for the next 3 hours. Magically a full size car was there. The Nissan I ended up with was a great car but I should have received some sort of discount for what I had to go through. The only thing I got was a few apologies If this was my first bad experience I would brush it off. The last 2 times I rented from your Clifton Park facility I had to wait up to a half hour for the car I reserved to arrive. I rent exclusively from Enterprise but that may certainly change. You guys have way too many competitors for these things to continue to happen.
I have rented here several times for work travel. While the staff was extremely friendly each time I rented, I was frustrated to recently find out that it is no longer possible to leave my car there. I cannot rely on being picked up by Enterprise as often I am not sure what time I will actually be departing for work related trips. Since I can no longer leave my car at this location I have switched back to the Albany Airport location, where I have to pay a daily parking rate, but am able to pick up at my convenience and leave my vehicle.
Car was dirty - at a glance it was clean in the front seat but the back seat was muddy and not vacuumed and appeared to previously have had a dog inside because it smelled like one. My husband cleaned it because we didnt have time to take it back. Very disappointing especially in lieu of COVID.
I have used Enterprise Rent-A-Car for several years. The last couple of years the service and condition of the rentals have been poor. I generally use Saratoga Springs NY to pick up cars, after getting cars with stained and dirty interiors I thought Id give your Clifton Park,NY office a try. I called and spoke to a woman named Rebecca ,who claimed to be the manager. I explained why I was pulling my reservation from the Saratoga office namely due to the condition of their cars and poor customer service.She assured me that Id get a Chevy Cruze and that it would be clean. I told her Id be there by 5:00pm. I get there and theres no Chevy Cruze.Then Im told Id get a Nissan Altima he goes outside and says its a Ford Focus instead.I go outside to look at the car and its filthy there were bugs all over the exterior and the windows were dirty on the inside. When I complained about it I was told theyd wash the car. I stood there in disbelief as this girl hosed the car off and tossed the keys at me and walked away.I get in the car and the dash light is on and says oil change required. I GO BACK INSIDE, and inform him whats on the dash only to be told Im good for another 1k miles and to ignore it.Really ?! This rental was paid for by my employer for a company event. I didnt feel safe driving this car and elected to drive my own car the following morning. I will most definitely bring this to the attention of my employer. Im sure they can do better than this. One other thing both offices fail to do is to show you at a minimum on what side your gas tank is and how to operate air/defrost .
The branch manager Rebecca, Joe, Sarah & Aaron Cassidy went ABOVE & beyond to find me a car & get me on my way after my car broke down. Phenomenal customer service, I am completely blown away! Friendly, professional & really cared to help me turn my day around. Highly impressed!
Rebecca Doble is by far one of the RUDEST and UNPROFESSIONAL people I have EVER encountered; ESPECIALLY working in customer service as a branch manager. It is beyond me how Enterprise can employ someone with such poor customer service skills; let alone allow her to run one of their locations. Having had multiple interactions with her and her sidekick to resolve a deposit issue (that she had minimal knowledge on how to resolve or explain with clarity) I requested her superiors information at which point she preceded to inform me I would merely get the same information she provided as to deter me from contacting the district manager Carrie. Ultimately I had to remove myself from this situation to avoid further conflict and in doing so I end up with FRAUDULENT charges because she is disgruntled. I have once again contacted customer service and her district manager. This office needs to be investigated and I am CERTAIN that they will find an array of discrepancies. I have charges that I NEVER received receipts for and have no knowledge as to where those funds went. Oh and do not be fooled by the positive reviews as she will do anything in her power to avoid a negative review to include free car upgrades, free rental days, and issuing credit.
Company has a blacklist for drivers even if you turn a car in a day late and let them know youre going to be late and you pay the fees you will never be able to rent a car from them again. I rented a car from them over 5 years ago and returned it a day late and paid the extra fees and have not been able to rent a car from them since and have been told Im never allowed to rent a car from them ever again. I dont find this to be fair or good business. There was nothing in my contract stating that if I return the vehicle late that I would never be able to rent from them again
I usually rent from the Enterprise at Albany International Airport when I am in town, without problems. But during the holidays, with my flight arriving well past midnight, I had to rent from another location closer to the site of my stay. Even though it has never before been a problem, this Enterprise location would not recognize my corporate account, because (they argued) I was in town on personal business. I know the corporate account is available to all faculty of my large Midwestern public university for both personal and official business, but the staff at this location would not believe me, and my office was closed for the holidays, so I could not reach them to confirm for me over the phone. The thought crossed my mind that perhaps I dont look like a professor, as a young-looking Asian American woman, so the staff preferred to err on the side of Nope. It was extremely frustrating, and when I did receive such confirmation at a later date, this location did nothing to compensate me. I will not be renting from this location again.
I bought a used (39,000 miles) 2009 Kia spectra here in October 2010. Its now December 2013, and I have not had it break down or cause me one problem almost 50,000 miles later. I cant comment on their car rental service at all, but they definitely sell good quality cars.
No Parking Lot = My Business elsewhere. Staff seemed nice enough and They always have a good number of cars (Be aware they always try and up sell you). But no Parking Lot is a deal breaker, The Well pick you up program is more like the Be Late for your meeting Program.
Folks at the office were fine, however, we were rewriting a month contract initiated in little Washington NC which was flooded by Hurricaine Matthew. The contract was due for renewal on a Sunday when the office was closed. On Monday the North Carolina office did not answer the phone.i called the nearby New Bern office and they told me customers were coming to them, as the Washington Store was unresponsive. We were on the road near no Enterprise on Tuesday and did the rewrite on Wednesday. I was charged the daily rate for the three days I was unable to renew due to Hurricaine issues. It cost me $450 for the whole month, and $90 for the three days. This is not how to treat a Platinum Plus Member when the cause was not mine. We use Enterprise regularly, usually grtting great service. This experience was not what I expected from you.
I have used this Enterprise agency location for years, and always have a very positive experience - no complaints or mishaps, and each staff person that I have met has been very helpful, pleasant & professional. They will continue to be my first option when looking to rent a car in the Albany area.
Phenomenal place! We use this location on a weekly basis. The staff is alway friendly and goes out of their way to acccomidate our needs (even when they change last minute), all while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude! Dan the manager deserves big props because he leads the get it done culture that makes this place great. Thanks for all the great experiences!
At first, even their manager seemed nice. However, when my wife accidentally hit a guard rail with the white dodge charger {Premium Car} that they had, they first didnt even want to rent me a car, because my fiance wasnt under the enterprise car contract that I signed, even thought I told them my wife had an emergency. Then what was really funny was that the first time I called, they said that they would give me a luxury car becasue I damged that one, but once they found out my fiance used it once, that deal was gone. Now I cant get anything better than a midsize from them. Plus, I even had full coverage that covered rentals, and my wife was even under my policy, but they didnt car. Watch what you do with them, and If you do rent a car, make sure you get the insurance from them.
My son totaled my car. Insurance set up a rental with enterprise. I had a car, they put me in a truck. I drove it home, called to exchange it and brought it right back. The second vehicle they gave me was a Hyundai accent. The vehicle is totally disgusting. Seats are stained with burn holes. The vehicle is not clean at all. The smell that comes from the vehicle turns my stomach. I was told it was the only sedan they had. A friend goes there and they give her a brand new malibu!!!! My husband says its my punishment for exchanging the truck. I will be complaining to my insurance company about this. I will also never use enterprise again.
They were fantastic! My (brand new) car had a transmission issue while I was on my way to Montreal and these guys came to get me from the dealer, waited patiently as I packed my things into their car, and got me back on the road in no time! I was not happy about my car having an issue, but these guys didnt take it personally that I was upset and even helped lighten my mood. I would definitely recommend them!

2022-05-31Utilized the Clifton Park Enterprise and was able to rent a vehicle that I was actually considering purchasing in the future. The customer service was good. And then I got a followup call from the manager and the customer service was GREAT! Highly Recommend and will rent from them again (soon, I hope!)

2022-03-04Picked up a car this past Monday. Every vehicle in the lot was clean except the car I picked up covered in salt and dirt. No big deal as it was being paid for by the persons insurance company that hit me. Pulled out onto Rte 9 and noticed the rear left tire warning light was on. Filled tire at Stewart’s to proper pressure. Light went off. Called and notified them. Next morning got in and light was back on. Lost about 6 pounds of pressure over night. Called them and they said bring it back. Drove there and they exchanged the vehicle for a much cleaner vehicle. Got home and had a few charges from them for I assume the half of a quarter of gas I used. I have used them several times over the past few years and all it takes is one bad experience and I will be looking for other rental companies to use in the future.

2022-05-03So my fiancé and I planned on renting a vehicle from this particular enterprise for at least a week if not two weeks. We called to schedule originally for a full week upfront. She proceeded to tell us that we needed to pay the 775 upfront for the entire week that was including the deposit. We then decided that we would do it in three days chunks. They told us the new amount for the shorter rental. When my fiancé showed up after calling several times to confirm billing info & amount due & pick up details…He arrived morning of the pick up & had to show proof of residence with 2 utility bills. We were not made aware of this requirement & had never rented before. The two bills I showed I owed minimal money on them & was denied the rental. Since when do personal bills outside of a rental have anything to do with a rental whatsoever. I was also informed that in order to drive a vehicle off lot over phone was $380…In person the amount suddenly changed back to $775+🤬🙄.They explained that they were training a new person but that doesn’t give them an excuse to not correct the problem over five times we called to confirm the Rental details. We are highly displeased as we both missed a day of work over there employee errors. We are aware everyone is human but $400 discrepancy is not acceptable. We then had to go to U-Haul and rent a vehicle which went much smoother. Then a friend decided that they were willing to let us borrow their vehicle until July had they not done that we would have been out of work because of the miss information that was shared by this specific employee and the supervisor as well that was at the Clifton Park enterprise!

2022-03-31The experience was awesome, my rep was Mike Purvey!!! He is super energetic, amazing Ora, and so very sweet!!! I would definitely go back to Mike anytime!!!During my return a lady Brittney helped me, and she was so darn sweet!! I recommend coming here 1000 percent!!!!! Their just absolutely amazing!!!!Also def purchase the extra insurance for $15 a day bc it is super worth it!!! A rock hit my windshield, thank god I got the extra insurance, bc I didn’t have to worry about a thing!!!!!

2022-06-06Ive been a loyal customer of Enterprise Rent a Car for years and I have received profound customer service but this past Saturday surpassed what Ive encountered. From the moment I walked onto the property, Mike greeted me with a warm smile and assured me he would assist once hes done with his other customer. Upon completion, he attended to my needs in a way that deeply impacted me. He made friendly conversation and throughout his customer service, he was very kind and detailed. He made sure that I understood everything and asked if I needed anything. He also acknowledged that I was a loyal customer by thanking me for my loyalty. I was so impressed, I told him he was doing a fantastic job and thats when he shared he was in management training. I further explained that he will be a great manager and encouraged him to continue providing such service. I truly hope my message is sent to the corporate office of Enterprise because its encounters like the aforementioned that keeps a loyal customer like myself truly satisfied and appreciative. Ashely was very helpful in finding us a car that fit our needs for our day to day, and Culter couldnt have been nicer in helping us get everything finalized so that we could be on our way back to normalcy after our accident.
