Disgusting. JUST DISGUSTING, the Manager Ahmed is the rudest person I ever met. His attitude and he also berates people, because I asked for a minivan for my sons bar- mitzvah. He tells me your only getting a sedan, when I asked why, he said because I said so and Im the Manager....
Updated: even better wish I could add a star. Customer interaction by David Shakeel and Angelica Iannelli was superb. Even though my rental experience was not perfect - the way they handled it was wonderful. Bravo.A very nice Enterprise experience. Everyone seems like they love their jobs and at least treat the customers that way. Its nice to fly in and have a smooth transition in and out of a car there. Finally another location that is like my local branch!
Usually only review Brooklyn based shops, spaces, events, restaurants, bed and breakfasts, hotels, parks, and other located in Brookyln stuff for people who want to explore, travel locally, and support small businesses and events as well as their local economy (not to mention the staycation types that we also specifically focus on).With that said, the experience recurved from using this locations rental car to use to travel around Brooklyn (and do a staycation car review) was FANTASTIC!!! I never was treated so well just to pick up a car. I actually was taken aback by the attention; definitely felt special.If you are planning on doing a road trip, visit family, or try and do a staycation (local vacation), get your car from here. Its easy to get to by train, airtrain, even Uber (or whatever ride share you use). If you already have a car, park it up near the A, J, or E train station and take the train in or have someone drive you over to get the car.Make this place part of your staycation plans. Do a road trip, they have EZ passes if you need them, stay at a local bed and breakfast or at a hotel for a couple of nights, travel around Brooklyn... Youll be glad you did.Side Note:The Chrysler Pacifica is a AWESOME choice to seat 4 to even 7 people. A person who is 62 can easily sit in the third row for a few hours on a short road trip. 3 adults can fit in the third row for short to 1hr trips. Plenty of space for picnic and other travel gear. Styling is kinda meh though but it gets you where you want to go comfortably.If you use the A train to get thier, get off at Howard Beach JFK and take the air train. Get off at Federal Circle from the air train, ignore the other car rental places located there cause thats not where you want to go, follow the rain shelter to the shuttle bus area, and wait for the Enterprise shuttle bus to take you to the Enterprise car rental store. We put up some pics as a little guide but if anything use Google maps to show you the route.
Do not Rent from there!! Due to covid there located in the national/Alamo branch and expect to receive a car no newer than 2020 with like 50k miles. The agent lied to me and told me the car I took was a 2021 and not only was it from 2020 the registration was expired!!! Now I’m stuck with this car and I’m an hour and half from jfk and no one will exchange for me!!! Disaster place!
This enterprise is amazing i rented maserati sq4 ghibli on my religious holiday i really had fun with that car and i also got it for really good price and the branch manager his name anzelo oh man his very very professional and very polite and i highly appreciate his help thank you guys so much for everything and i will defently come back with no question ask .!

If you dont live in Ny and dont have much cash Its hard getting a rental. they do credit checks w debit cards 500 dollar deposits you need a major bank card i came all the way from Chicago for my reservation and couldnt get a rental but thank god its Ny i can metro everywhere
We were a party of 9 that missed our connecting flight to Boston. We called enterprise at 9:30pm and they immediately and professionally found us two vehicles to make the trip home. Other companies wouldn’t allow us to make reservations because they would only allow “one way travel” which would require us to bring the car back to New York (bizarre). Shout out to the call center for helping us get the reservation promptly and to the employees who got us in and out of there quickly. Cars were in impeccable condition which is a plus!
Worst experience Ever! I will never rent a car from enterprise at JFK. Just pay the extra money for Avis!After renting the car for 30 min, my tire blew off on the highway! Roadside took 3 hours to get to me. Messed up my travel plans!JFK has no phones and you can only contact somebody through email. Worst Customer service ever! Management sucks as well. Never again!And keep your 1 free day coupon, I almost lost my Life!
Minor damage on car but no big deal. First car we got into reeked of smoke and we quickly got another car that was fine. We left and before leaving were asked to give my license and car keys to the guy at the gate. Delirious from flying and being awake for last 30 hours he gave me my license back, lifted the gate and said have a good day...... only after 45 minutes of driving and stioping to get coffee did I realize I didnt have the car key back from him and I was stuck and couldnt start the car anymore. 1.5 hours later after talking with enterprise and being told they will send a tow truck in FIVE hours I decided to take a cab back to the airport at JFK and enterprise and get the keys for the car instead. A nice rep Name Jeff and Andrew helped me. They said they would play for my can fare and drive me back to the car. So thankful to have them help. Now I just have t ok wait and see if they make good on the can fare repay since I booked through expedia which ended up being another third party called travelscape.com as well.... here is to hoping enterprise keeps my future business by making good on their promise! If I get my cab fare back I will change review to 5 stars despite the experience being less than satisfactory in the beginning because if how nice the enterprise employees were. Especially Jeff and his manager!
Be sure you photo document any damage that you feel should be noted.I picked up a (Enterprise) at National during this crazy time.It had damage, I asked it be noted, it wasnt, I was told it didnt warrant the note. Well upon return I had to do paperwork and have been fighting it.I received forms via emails, fedex, and usps. I finally had to get my corporate travel organizer to take it over and squash it!Write it up!!!
So first off rental staff was fast and friendly, upgraded car free. Scuff mark located on bumper which we pointed out. Rep stated thats only a scuff. A dent and crash is what company is concerned about. After pulling off noticed AC was not working 🤦♂️. Which I called and notified (1800#). Upon returning car the return agent stated theres a damage and I said it was shown prior to rental and agent said he doesnt show damage listed. I explained thats not my fault agent who rented neglected to write notes! Apart from that customer service was great.! JFK
Thank you guys so much for saving me from a terrible car rental company (Dollar) that canceled my reservation when i got there at JFK. after being turned away from all the car rental places there due to the car rental shortage you guys came through and did it with class. also, you guys gave me a nice car and charged me less with an on the spot rental than my other reservation would have cost. you gained a customer for life with the great people and great service there at JFK. Thank you all again!!!!!
We always prefer Enterprise. The associate the helped us very nice. But this JFK enterprise seems a bit unorganized. Gas in the car was not filled. Customers walking around the lot looking for associates. When we noticed our car was not filled...the associate quckly went to fill it. Would be a 2 star rating if not for the responsiveness.
They literally stole over $8k and caused my credit card to incur penalties and overages for a reservation that cost a little over $3500. I have been trying to reach the main Enterprise office and this branch for over a month to get this situation handled/have my money refunded and after repeated emails and calls, no one has gotten back to me. Do not rent from this location.
Terrible service. I linked my flight information to my reservation. Flight arrived late and I made it 11 minutes late to pick up car. Two people inside would not service me, claiming system is lockdown at 11pm. I was told to get service from other car rental companies, none of which had any vehicles available. I wouldn’t recommend this mess to anyone. Go to Hertz or Avis.Update: The nightmare continues. Called Enterprise last night and was told my confirmation would be held and I would have a car in the morning. Just called to verify and confirmation cancelled! Now they want 50% more for same reservation. Please avoid at all costs!
I am a fleet customer and would be using this car for about a full month. They gave me a car with a punctured tire without checking it. Enterprise used to offer quality cars now they offer smoke filled vehicles and unsafe environments.Also the caliber of people they hire is just absolutely awful now. They offer zero solutions and just blame their policies and way of handling things on “corporate” the female manager at the JFK location is the worst. She pulled the “let me finish” card on me and that just put me over the edge.Take your business elsewhere.
Counter service was great with minimal wait time. explanation of contract was easily understood. Inspection and instruction of vehicle was thorough. The only issue was and is possibly with most rental places is the lack of cleaning of the inside windshield. You will know when you drive towards a setting sun.
I always rent from enterprise when I go on trips treat me well the customer service is amazing never had any problems. When I needed a car swap because of mechanical issues they did it with no hassle or problem 5/5 rating and the prices are the best I recommend anybody traveling that need a rental enterprise is your go to
I have been trying to retrieve some items left behind in a rental for 2 months now. I submitted a lost ticket not even 24 hours after returning my rental and just keep getting automated email updates with “nothing found”. Seems as though these tickets are just being tossed and not followed up on. I have just received a toll bill that I will not be paying until I can get my things back! Poor customer service in my opinion!
Checkin/checkout was very average. Facility seemed to be in remodel phase. Car was tired and expensiveSignage to and from facility, ie exiting airport and finding rental car center on airport grounds was very challenging. Im a native English speaker from NY area and I had a hard time. Third world countries do a better with this stuff.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were checked out and in the vehicle within 15 minutes. We needed to upgrade to a larger vehicle and they were able to provide a discount. The vehicle was super clean and comfortable. Returning the vehicle was even quicker. And they shuttled us back to the airport. Highly recommend!
I have been renting cars with Enterprise since 2016 and every time it’s been great. I always get the best rates and they treat they’re repeat customers very well. I have a membership account that I have been using more often lately because it comes with lots of perks!
In principle I booked a car in another provider, but after a simulation and reading the reviews I cancelled the other reservation and tried Enterprise in JFK. I can tell you from bottom of my heart this was the best decision made. We had a long red eye flight (10 hours) and Hana received us with a big smile. She was very friendly and followed us to the parking so we could select the car we would desire. She made it very quick and didn´t try to offer unnecessary services and charge extra fees. The car (Hyundai Tucson) was in very good conditions. When we returned Lance was also very nice and efficient. I miscalculated the time and we got a tough traffic from Manhattan to JFK so we arrived a bit late. In principle there would be an additional charge but Lance waived because he trusted on us the same way we did on Enterprise. Hana and Lance congrats for the excellent service and kindness!!!! Keep the excellent job and courtesy. Enterprise I must tell you conquered a new loyal customer. Well recommended !!!!!

Absolutely the best car rental experience I have ever had. I booked through Priceline the day of and within minutes I was in the car. I was greeted with exceptional service on 11/30 around 3pm. Everyone involved was great if the manager ever reads this review. My only complaint is it was a bit hard to find after getting off the train. I ended up walking for a bit but saw a shuttle once I arrived.
We have used Enterprise many times and we always rest assured that the the experience will be a positive one. The cars are clean and the customer service people who help you select the car that best fits your needs are so accommodating, friendly and helpful.Recently we had a need (due to elderly family member emergencies) to rent a car at Ft Lauderdale airport and then one again at Kennedy airport. I sadly lost the name cards of the amazing customer service reps or I would be individually praising them for their friendliness and assistance.Enterprise, has fair pricing, lets you select your vehicle, allows spouses to drive and has great customer service. It is nice to have the opportunity to praise and recommend them.
We rented a car from JFK airport from Enterprise Rent-a-Car and it was fantastic. We got there earlier than we had anticipated and there was no issue at all. On top of that the staff (3 ladies in all) were absolutely delightful and helpful.I couldnt ask for a better experience and I was very surprised at how smoothly it went and how little sales pressure there was. The front desk worker said they dont have enough car and called someone who called his boss to told me the company there are lack of car.!!!!!? Because the other renters return the cars late .What the hell happen ?!!!!if you dont have car ,why booking. Com website still make reservations. I feel upset because l west my time and my mony to go there. Because l have good deal on the website. And when l went there. They refuse it . Dishonest lairs company should be your logo.
I had a great experience with renting from this location. I made a reservation online, which I always find easier rather than on the spot, because firstly, you know what youre gonna pay (besides insurance options that you can add at the counter), and I was on my way quickly. The employee who was assisting me was helpful and efficient!I always have had good experiences with enterprise, and I reckon you will too!
I rent cars, on average, once a month. Any time I have rented with Enterprise, it’s been an excellent experience. The cars are all clean, and in excellent mechanical condition ( you would think that would be a given with rentals, but I assure you that’s not the reality with other companies). I’ve been upgraded At no cost to me when they didn’t have the car class I reserved, and no surprise fees at the end of the rental.
The front desk is very friendly. But I waited the car for 30 mins to be washed and ready. I stood in cold weather for waiting the car wash. (while my reservation is from 2/11 5pm, the car wasnt ready till 5:45 pm.) The windshield wash water is also not enough! It was snowing another day and the wash water was used up quickly. The customer service is outstanding. From the shuttle bus driver to the young men that greets you outside, to the front desk employees were all outstanding! I was accidentally charged for a car class change, but they fixed the problem and refunded me back for those charges right away. Thank you so much for such a great experience!
Staff are very friendly but it’s a mostly a front. I’ve discovered that almost all chain rental biz’s are the same. Quick money with average to poor service. I will say Enterprise JFK was above average with the speed and quality of their staff. However our car had been smoked in and it made my daughter sick to her stomach for a good portion of the trip. They knew it and still turned the vehicle back out to us.
2020My new rental for this year 2020 was so much better for the reservation to offering me a free upgrade to the pick and drop off. They did so much better than they did last year below.2019My one problem was the fact that the enterprise rental I chose did not take part in any of my companys discount. I didnt find out until I got there. The agent took my reservations over the phone and I told her where I was going and where I was getting the vehicle from.Not very good customer service there at all.
Highly recommended! Have rented cars here on 2 separate occasions without any issues what-so-ever. Got great deals both times. Very nice and friendly staff. This time they even offered me a free upgrade to a premium car without any additional expenses. Will definitely use Enterprise again!
Five stars for the employee named Chris, who did his best at being professional and helpful upon returning the car, but 1 star for Enterprise!!I got a cigarette smoke filled truck that also reeked of pet -or some other- poop. Couldn’t change it because it was the only one left. The customer service rep that I called was indifferent; sounded like she heard it a million times before.Enterprise seems to think that discounts fixes these issues, but I’d much rather the problem be addressed so myself and others can rent without enduring hostile environments inside these vehicles.There have been good experiences, but these bad ones are unacceptable.
I was not very happy with the service nor the quality of the SUV provided during my most recent rental. SUV was not properly cleaned prior to pickup and the associate whom seem very uninterested in providing good service did even address the issue and also claimed the SUV had a full tank of gas when it only had 3/4 of a tank but charged me for the full tank.
Incredibly impressed by the service here. All staff were extremely personable and professional ... introduced themselves, shook our hands, funny, etc. very efficient we were in and out quickly. Shout out to Paul and Jessica, and the man who greeted us upon arriving, and the man who we spoke to upon exciting who reminded us to turn our headlights on ;) Thanks guys!!!! Great team! Way more than what you would expect from a rental car place.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC return experience! Given how big Enterprise is, I expected more but was tremendously let down. The whole return process was so chaotic. Given that it is an international airport, scamming people for money for a terminal shuttle service should not be tolerated!!! My family is greatly disappointed by the Enterprise return process and will force us to reconsider renting with this company in the future.We rented a SUV from Ohio and had to catch a flight at JFK, the renting process was smooth, however when we got to JFK Enterprise car rentals, we were diverted to National car rental returns. After arriving at the various return platform, NOBODY came to greet us, the only person who I don’t even know if he belongs there or not was sitting inside a booth playing with his phone (talk about poor service). I approached him and told him we have too many baggages and need a shuttle service, then called for the shuttle, and before the shuttle arrived, I SPECIFICALLY asked him if the shuttle service was free or not, he said yes and went back to what he was doing. After waiting for a few minutes or so, someone came with a minivan and took us to Terminal 1 for international flights. Instead of informing us the charge at pick up, he demanded $30 for the service after dropping us off at the terminal. Luckily we came early and had time for such nonsensical arguments. He quickly pulled out his phone to indicate us about calling his supposedly “boss”. I can even hear from the other side that the person was a friend or a co-worker of his. My wife and I were furious at that time. He then forced us to go back to the car rentals since we refused to pay the $30. I had to put back all the luggages into the minivan (he’d rather drive us back for free than just leave us at terminal 1), putting all our four 50-lbs+ bags strained my back in such haste.After getting back to the rental returns and some brief arguments with the supposedly “Enterprise representative” we decided to just take the only option by taking the railway. Apparently, the driver and “Enterprise representative” were pulling out some scam to get money from us. We were told and confirmed the free shuttle service in which I asked specifically in front of him. It is not acceptable to charge us money after dropping us off. I am submitting this complaint along with a lowest-rating possible on Google Maps. We had an international flight to catch and this was the impression we were left with from Enterprise.
Excellent customer service. The staff there is professional and super nice. They make the process easy and straight forward. The only downside is that it is not located right at the air train terminal. You need to take the free shuttle to Enterprise, but the other car rental companies are right there.
From start to finish of my rental journey Enterprise is the MVP of the car rental business. No matter when I rent; the staff is always extremely attentive and accommodating. The return process is fast as well. I would recommend Enterprise to anyone looking for exceptional customer service and lightning quick rentals.
Love Enterprise! I travel frequently and always have found Enterprise to be the best. I avoid renting from other companies because they just cant measure up to the level of customer service at Enterprise. My most recent experience was with the JFK Airport location and I can say that it was the usual GREAT service I have come to expect from Enterprise after being a customer since 2010. The shuttle driver was welcoming and friendly and the car pickup process was painless with another friendly person who accommodated my requests with a smile. Returning was a breeze, met with more smiles and very helpful folks.
Enterprise has always been our go to rent a car agency. The folks at JFK Enterprise in Jamaica go above and beyond to make sure your rental car experience is better than expected. When we arrived after our trip from Calif to visit our daughter who had just lost the love of her life to sudden death, Stephanie consoled my wife like a best friend. I am so grateful for the comfort and prayers she gave to my wife. Besides that extra outpouring of sensitivity, the entire process of getting our car (which was upgraded at no extra cost) was so easy. The car was clean, comfortable and reliable. I would never consider a different rental agency. Go with Enterprise. You wont be disappointed.
As always, I enjoyed my previous experience with Enterprise. Although the Enterprise lot was closed at JFK Airport, I was re-routed to their partner, National, and the check-in was quick, car selection was nice, they took care to clean and sanitize everything, and polite both during checkout and my return. Enterprise is my go-to car rental agency.
I’ve been happily renting from Enterprise for years --over a decade-- but never will again. I rented a van to drive friends to the country for a week’s vacation. For most it was a first trip out of the city since the Covid 19 lockdown in March. Three days into the trip our car stopped working in a parking lot off the highway because of a problem with the keyless ignition. I called Enterprise roadside and they walked me through getting it towed and assured me that a car would be delivered to me that evening. Neither of these things happened and i had to repeat this process every day for the rest of the week. We never got a replacement car although several of us took an uber to a rental location an hour away (where I’d been promised a car was waiting) and were turned away because they had rented the car to someone else. Also they still had not Yet towed the original car... In the end we never got a replacement, I had to travel an hour to rent a car from another company. In the end I’d also spent just under 10 hours on the phone (on hold) trying to remedy the situation. I was given the runaround by everyone at Enterprise that I spoke to; it really did ruin the vacation in a lot of ways, because we were immobile in the countryside; and I am still sitting on hold with them every day trying to get refunded. The treatment we all received was comically bad and I’d encourage folks to rent from any other company. It can’t get any worse than enterprise.
Great team, service, and cars. I had a very positive experience here. I used my points for a free rental (plus tax) and opted for the prepaid fuel. When I received the bill, it was higher than what I expected the tax to be. When I asked about it, they took care of it with no hassle. They waived the prepaid fuel for me to apologize. That is service! I love that you don’t have to fight/argue- they just take care of it. This is how you keep customers coming back.
Very pleased with the systems for booking, collecting and returning the vehicle. The service from the person who took the booking on the phone was very helpful when we had to book speedily when a flight was canceled between La Guardia and Toronto. The guy at the collection couldnt have been more helpful unless he had shared some of the driving, and the efficient return process ensures we caught our return flight. Both shuttle drivers were friendly and very helpful with directions. Oh and the car was nice too.
Rented through Enterprise back in August, still waiting for the almost $400 hold to fall off my account. Ive tried contacting Enterprise multiple times but its the same story every time. Weve already released the hold and theres nothing wed be able to do. I even asked for documents showing that this charge was a hold so I could dispute the charges, the only document they could send me was the invoice... The invoice that only includes the final amount that they charged me at time of return. Lets just say my bank went ahead and emailed me saying that Enterprise had provided documents proving that the charge was intended and was not a hold.Would I suggest Enterprise? Personally no. Customer Service is as generic as they come, no attempts at trying to elevate your issue to a higher up if they are unable to resolve said issue.
A knife in the back. I reserved a 3-day rental of a compact car online. The price with insurance was $333. Outrageous, but at a time when NYC has the highest rental rates in the country and rental companies are trying to rebound off of the back of renters - it was to be expected. I picked up the car from JFK (yeah, had to get to the airport to get that sweet deal). Everything was great until, on the morning of my return,. I realized I wont be able to make it to the airport by noon so I emailed and asked to return it 5 hours later. No problem said the email. After returning the car, I got the final invoice for $478. yes folks, almost $150 over the original price for a few extra hours on the same day. The answer from Enterprise? over 3 hours we calculate it as an extra day. My questions are:1. Why did no one tell me that an extra 5 hours are considered a full day? Maybe Id have made an effort to return the car earlier, or maybe Id kept it for another day!2. If youre going to charge me an extra day, at least be reasonable and charge the $86/d that the original rental was for minus all the extras. But to charge almost twice that?!?3. Why after replying to your email about satisfaction you ghosted me without as much as a sorry mate or times are tough or some other lame excuse that would at least showed you cared about one of your premium customers?Will not return to Enterprise. Ever.
Have to be honest, after all the advertising Enterprise has done about how clean my car would be ( especially during Covid ) I was disappointed to find that not only was it not sterile, it wasnt really clean at all. it was difficult to see through the windshield for the film of dirt wiped away poorly on the inside and the entire car wreaked of either smoke, pet, or both being covered up by some nasty love my carpet scent. I like Enterprise but this experience blew and it should be noted.
We had a five star experience with Enterprise from start to finish. Ive had extremely bad/frustrating experiences in the past with other rental companies, particularly out of JFK so our hospitable, friendly & easy experience with Enterprise was a breath of fresh air. Everyone from the gentleman who drives the shuttle to the person that checked us in, the person who showed us to our car, and our return was extremely smooth and all of the workers involved were friendly, warm and professional. We will definitely only be using Enterprise going forward. To top it off, we got a very good/competitive rate. A big thank you to all for making our experience very pleasant!! If I had the managers email I would email him directly to let him know how great his employees are!
Seriously one of the best car rental experiences Ive had in a really long time. They are a bit more expensive than Id like (normally) but Im glad I was able to finagle a good price. I will be switching my loyalty to Enterprise moving forward and always remind myself that you get what you pay for when it comes to customer service and vehicle quality.
Excellent!!!I really dont know how to say this. I was extremely surprised how I felt valued as a customer. I went to Advance car rentals few hours before I went to enterprise. Well, I wasnt pleased with the service advance car rental offered me. Rates are different then their system is telling them. Well, basically I felt I was getting scammed and poor customer service.After my bad experience, I went to enterprise. I never felt valued as a customer. They greeted me, use my name, asked me hows my day, try to have small conversation and offered me different types of cars that I can choose or upgrade. Because I booked it through online, the process went only 10 minutes!!!!! And after I received my car, I felt really really happy. I wanted to rent a car for a wedding for few hours. Advance car rentals wanted to charge me $90 plus $200 security deposit. With advance, I didnt pay more then $75.At the end, I was happy the way I was treated by the employees from enterprise and their team. Saying thank you to you guys are not enough.....Thank you.
I had a reservation and confirmation number for a rental car . The branch calls me in the morning and tells me they dont have any cars. I call the main number, they tell me to go to a different branch . I call and they have no cars either. Everyone I spoke with just lied instead of telling me they dont have any cars available. I finally rented from Hertz.Their customer service has crashed since covid.
I didn’t expect it to be so easy to rent a car, especially during a pandemic. I went, gave my id and credit card, and then had a choice of four cars to choose from! I chose and I was on my way. Took 20 minutes max. I would highly recommend this place, very professional and quick.
I often use Enterprise because of their location and hours. The pick up service has been a lifesaver in the past as well! My experience has always been courteous and simple. Once we did an after hours drop off which was incorrectly dated in their system, and after one phone call they were quick to correct the issue and fix the receipt. Happy with their service overall.
Staff at this branch of enterprise were excellent!! They got us in and out both times in crazy fast times, by far fastest and most efficient rental car place weve been. Reason Im giving 3 stars is because the car we got was filthy inside, and it was the second one we looked at because the first one the front bumper was falling off, which thankfully the great staff spotted right away and moved us into another car. Didnt realize just how dirty the car we got was until we drove away, it definitely hadnt been cleaned between rentals!! Otherwise though would definitely use this branch again they gave great customer service
Recently rented a vehicle out of JKF. Family van. Service was quick. People were nice. Vehicle was clean and ready. Since I haven’t been there since last year, I thought they were still at the “off site” location and so did their voice service. Minus that, no issues at all.
Very nice rental experience. Shuttle was waiting when the AirTrain arrived. Was greeted very warmly upon arrival to their desk. Staff noticed, from my license that my birthday was the next day and made sure to wish me a happy day. I liked being brought directly to the car by staff, and being able to choose from 5 or so options. The car itself was really nice and practically brand new. Drove the car 600 miles with no issues. Would definitely recommend!
Usually we are very satisfied with Enterprise and have been renting from them for years... this time we received a vehicle at JFK airport through their partner National. (We were directed to the National office as the Enterprise office was closed). Within an hour of leaving the airport, we began having serious difficulties with the vehicle. We did nurse the car to our destination but were reluctant to use the car for the full term of our lease. When we arrived at the destination office, it was closed. (Due to the Pandemic problems)... But we had not received any notice that the office was closed. We were asked to bring the car to another office in another town, but we were reluctant to again drive this vehicle on the highway. Due to the troubles with the vehicle and that we did not use it for the full term of the lease, we were promised a 1/2 refund on our rental, but after numerous phone calls, never received it.
Everyone was very friendly and professional. From the person who drove the shuttle bus from the airport to the person who checked our ticket on the way out of the lot. They took the time to go over each feature we paid for and when there was a problem with the vehicle (not enough legroom) they changed our vehicle quickly and with no issue. Ive never used Enterprise before, but Ill definitely use it again after this experience.
Good rental experience. Car was good - low mileage. Drop off in a different location was easy. Shouldn’t have agreed to pay for gas up front. I think I ended up paying more than I needed - paid for 20 gallons when the car had no more than 16 gallon capacity. Not a big deal though. I would rent again here.
I have always chosen Enterprise for my rentals. Actually, every auto dealership that I worked used them, as well as my current insurance company. Never had any problems with the vehicles, service workers or the staff. Extremely friendly people from management to the porters. The prices has always been reasonable and fair, even in California and New York.
We rented two vehicle from two different states. On in New York, at John F Kennedy Airport and the other one in North Carolina, at New Bern. The services was great no wait time treat us as we special. The consistence of treatment of customer and the services was the same. Great Job Enterprise, Great organization, with great people representative of the company. Thank you so much, that was a stress free experiences especially when you are traveling out of state.
Enterprise is my go to when I need to rent a car, I always receive excellent customer service. They are friendly, efficient and helpful. Recently I rented around the time of the hurricane and had a family emergency come up and they really came thru when I needed assistance. I appreciate they always accommodate when needed. I highly recommend enterprise!
The price was just right! The car was exceptional! It was clean when I picked it up and ready to go. Although, there was a line when I first arrived; I did not have to wait long simply because the employees were working as a team to ensure their customers were content. The employees were very professional and informative. Most importantly they valued our time. In other words, I was not there longer than necessary. I was in and out in 15 minutes and that matters to a native New Yorker. I would definitely recommend this site.
Very surprised at how terrific this enterprise was. Almost everywhere I’ve been in New York, rental car places and processes are horrible - but every single person I interacted with was nice and helpful. Free upgrade was shocking as well. Definitely book them next time.
Did not have an issue until 24 hours AFTER I returned my car. They sent me an email stating there was damage to the vehicle’s door. Now upon returning the vehicle it was inspected and it was fine, then they contact me an entire 24 HOURS LATER! Very shady and unprofessional!!! I can not believe they would try to blame me for something that was never there when I returned it.
Customer service was fast and friendly. However, I felt necessary information for the customer was sacrificed for speed. Upon check in, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they had me on the road. My only qualms are that they didnt tell me how much gas per gallon would be if I didnt bring the car back full, mention a prepaid gas option, or give/email a receipt for the costs of my rental. While the staff was friendly and efficient, I feel this information is pertinent so there arent surprise costs for the customer.
JFK AIRPORT ENTERPRISEAbsolutely horrible. I was forced to wait for a long period of time in the parking lot. Employees left while at work stranding customers. Worst part of my experience was trying to bring it to the management team as JFK. The manager Jesse was arrogant, unprofessional, and rude. I would highly recommend against using this company at this location.I sent my rental agreement with full detail to the care email.
Enterprise has an excellent selection of vehicles. Vinny, the manager at the time of my pickup was kind enough to give me an upgrade. The con comments I have are that I was not informed that I would be charged nearly 22.00/hr. if I did not return the vehicle before the time of checkout. The other con relates to the satellite radio in the vehicle. The subscription was different from the previous rentals from Enterprise. I recently rented from Enterprise the weekend of August 25, 2017. The service at this location is excellent. The representatives are well informed and this time I was told exactly how much additional I would pay if the vehicle was not turned in on time. I plan to rent from this location in the future.
Very good friendly quick service. It was a dark and stormy night with sleet and snow; so, I really appreciated getting into my car inside a warm building with roll up doors rather than an open parking garage style structure. Easy to get to from JFK via the free AirTrain to Federal Circle and a short bus ride to the rental lot. Easy exit to the freeways.
Ive used this rental location 3 or 4 times. I have always received quick and positive customer service. Cars are nice, new, clean. Check-in and returns are easy. The only inconvenience is access to the location--you have to take the AirTrain and subsequently a shuttle bus to get to Enterprise.
From the moment I walked off the shuttle from JFK, I was immediately greeted by one of the managers that welcomed me like family and assured that I will be in and out very quickly. My whole experience here was fantastic and they made everything very easy from the paperwork to just driving out. I highly recommend this JFK location for their excellent customer service skills and professionalism. They really treat you well here.
Great service at both ends...easily checked in, chose from a variety of cars on offer, no high pressure attempt to upgrade me, and an easy exit to the world beyond the airport. On returning the car, amazingly fast service and help with my luggage, quick electronic delivery of my invoice, and the option to also receive a printed receipt, which I also took, and it was practically instantaneously in my hand...plus a quick shuttle to the Air Train and JFK Terminal 5. Enterprise is still my go-to car rental service.
My experience with the team at JFK was the best (no exaggeration) service experience I have every received when renting a car. My husband and I felt like VIPs and we were not even part of the Enterprise Preferred program. I am now! Every team member was friendly from the shuttle driver to the team member in the exit booth. Exceptional customer service!
I must Compliment this location on how customer friendly they are . I was in line waiting to be called to the counter they where a little short staffed which it wasn’t a problem on my end I was patient when the manager or supervisor came up to me and said I’m going to take care of u, he sent me to Another Associate I think his name was Paul and told him to give me a better deal than I booked -he gave me a great deal and free fuel -don’t remember the manager name but he was African American. thank u so much for all u did . When I returned the car I again I had very professional and friendly agent -forgot her name geez and she gave me her business card. Incredible experience from a fast, reliable and professional outfit. Yes I got upsold to a better vehicle but boy was it worth it. Sean was excellent, and enterprise staff even emailed me during my hire to check everything was okay. In actual fact, my vehicle had a minor fault (with the lights), which enterprise quickly resolved. They even let me drop off at another location free of charge. Enterprise staff (Sean, Ianelli and Warne) went above and beyond exceptional standards. I will continue to use Enterprise when visiting the US after this experience.
My experience at this location on July 17, 2020 was indeed less than satisfactory. It was deplorable and not in keeping with the companys mission. The manager at this location (Jarred) was rude and dismissive to not only me but the manager at my local location (Andrew) here in Arlington, VA that was on the speaker phone trying to get me moved into a safe working vehicle. When asked by myself for his supervisors contact information Jarred stated that his supervisor would not be interested in speaking directly to customers. In other words my supervisor could care less about you and your complaint!! I would love to discuss this encounter in more detail with someone from Enterprise Corporate Office since no one from the JFK Main Office has yet to return any of my calls. Perhaps they are aware of Jarreds behavior and accepting of it!
While the service at Enterprise is always good, on a recent trip to JFK the treatment I got warrants special recognition. My checkout was done by Vin. He treated me like he was renting to as family member.When I returned the car I was checked in by Jaquan. He was also incredibly friendly and my check in was completed in under a minute.Your people are the best in the business.
Excellent service. Free shuttle from JFK. There was no wait and we were able to get our rental car 2 hours earlier without any charge. I would recommend getting the paid gas option as it was cheaper through them and it was very convenient. Many options for insurance and for other equipment.Overall great experience.
I had a wonderful experience with my rental at Enterprise. The staff was very professional, and when i picked up the vehicle they took the time to do a walk through with me to inspect for damage.The pick up site at JFK airport was also very comfortable and convenient as the vehicle was in a very large indoor facility, so i didnt have to stand outside in the cold while retrieving the car.I would re-use/rent again from Enterprise on the future.
Need to make clear on website, while you are free to pay your bill with a debit card, you cannot secure a rental without a credit card. $60.00 in Ubers to get there, find out my debit isnt going to work (though I made the reservation online with it), and back to my office. Awkward.
I cant believe I am reviewing a car rental agency, but this experience was so amazingly unexpected I had to write. 3 weeks ago we rented from Budget at la Guardia, and it was a nightmare. At this Enterprise site, my faith in rental car agencies was restored. The service was extremely polite, prompt, and professional- from the offer for a bottle of water to Ruth, our very kind agent, personally walking with us to pick out a car and going over the car with us to check for scratches and dings. Great job! We will definitely be returning to this Enterprise and thanks to Ruth!
Recently rented a car from this location. Everyone there was very friendly and professional. The best customer service I have seen in a long time. The rates at Enterprise are always the best too. I will only use Enterprise for car rentals because of experiences like these.
The Enterprise staff at the Jamaica Queens location went above and beyond to offer excellent customer service during my recent car rental. To begin, the cost of my rental was adjusted downwards (!) before I picked it up for a weekly rental. The Jeep Cherokee was clean and comfortable, perfect for a week driving through the Catskills and New England to see family. But I want to call out the staff at the location who helped a couple of tired travelers get transportation arranged to Manhattan when we dropped off the car. We were frazzled and irritable and out of patience with the car-hire driver who couldnt find us. The entire staff--including the guys on the lot and the staff at the counter--jumped in to get our tech problems solved and help the driver find us. This is what customer service is all about--when each employee cares about the customers experience and expresses that care in action and attitude.
This my 1st experience renting a car (Zipcar doesnt count). The Enterprise member who helped me was Brian and he was AWESOME. Made the whole process smooth and i felt like i was being treated as a persona and not just another customer.I highly recommend them and until I buy my own car, I will continue renting from them.My 1st rental car had a steak knife in the passenger side door. When i bought this up to the attendant after i returned the car, i was given a 10% discount. I wasnt looking a discount, i just wanted to bring that to their attention.
From the time I am picked up by the Enterprise shuttle bus, up to the moment I leave the Enterprise facility at JFK, I am treated kindly, respectfully and most of all efficiently. Enterprise employees really are focusing on the customer service experience. Its a pleasure to do business with them. when I fly into the NYC area, there is no other rental car agency I will choose. Always a good experience
I had a reservation to pick up a car at the Long Island airport, but flights were canceled so I ended up arriving at a different New York airport. I called Enterprise and the lady was very helpful. She changed my reservation with the ability to drop it at the original airport and it even cost less than the first reservation. Very happy with the service!
The service was fast and friendly. I have waited over 45 minutes at other JFK rental care places. Enterprise was much faster about 20 minutes from when I stepped off the train to when I drove off the lot. The cheapest car to rent at the time was an SUV. It was nice and I really enjoyed the heated seats and wheel.One thing I really liked is that I was spared the usual sales pitch for upgrades. Other rental places try hard to sell you add ons even if you make it clear from the start you only want what you selected online. It was nice that this location had people that actually listen.I was not thrilled that I needed to catch a shuttle bus to get to the rental facility but it only added 5 minutes to the process.
This place was top notch! Great customer service from all employees! Especially Will. He made sure we got the right car (after four changes)! He always had a smile on his face and was never annoyed when a car didn’t work out for us. Next time we are in New York we will definitely be back! Thanks!!

When ever my family and I travel to New York we always use Enterprise at the Airport. in 13 years from their old site to now we have been treated beautifully, the cars are always clean and in good order, the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make our visit and travel as smooth as possible. I would not use any one else even when their prices are higher.
Ive got to admit, I was surprised at how fast and great the service was! Ive never experienced this at a car rental place. I reserved online, so they had my information ready, and I was done at the counter in probably less than 10 min. They didnt have any small cars left so, I ended up with a Nissan Altima, which was fine by me (and still small).Returning the car was even easier. I just drove up, handed the keys over to the young lady who inspected the vehicle, then headed to the shuttle. (I had declined all the extras and pumped my own gas, so my charges were exactly what I was quoted.)I will definitely come back here during my next trip to NY. Theyve got their process streamlined!
Everything about our most recent Enterprise Rental experience was great with one minor exception. The Customer Service Representatives were genuinely friendly; it wasnt forced or as canned as NYC service personnel often are. We were given our choice of vehicles and all ll were clean and professionally detailed. The pickup and return processes were quick and seamless. The one minor hiccup was that the Enterprise Rental counter was actually an additional shuttle ride (after the train ride from the terminal to the other rental sites) and the Enterprise shuttle had no air conditioning (on the first day of July no less). But the staff made up for it with sincere apologies and ice cold bottled water.As a native New Yorker, I was pleasantly impressed with the overall positive experience and would recommend Enterprise to anyone traveling through the New York metro area.
Rated 5 stars because they were unusually:1. Fast to serve me. From walking in the door to going to my car was less than 2 minutes.2. The Enterprise representative and I walked around the condition of the car quickly; she answered my questions rapidly and to my satisfaction.3. Car was in great shape.4. Return process took about 2 minutes and I had my receipt and was on my way.5. Everyone went out of their way to be friendly and helpful both getting and leaving my car.Great team there.And the car was competitively priced as well. (as well as a free upgrade)

I rented a premium SUV from JFK airport. The pick-up process was simple, the vehicle ready upon my arrival, and the staff easy to work with. The Audi drove exceptionally well, a compliment coming from a BMW X3 M-drive Owner. Returning the vehicle was just as easy. I’ll definitely rent with Enterprise again.
Superb service from start to finish. What a well-run operation! After my experience at JFK, Enterprise will always be my first choice for car rentals. I rented from Hertz for years and it was always miserable. They never walked the talk. Enterprise, good car choices and a representative brings or takes you to cars available of your choice, are with you to answer questions, guide you through set up and get you on your way in minutes. Very friendly and accommodating staff, especially Alex. They gained a new loyal customer.
As a full-time Missionary, I travel a lot and rent many cars for years from may different companies. I have been to 61 nations and the staff at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Building 69, Federal Cir, Jamaica, NY 11430 is the best that I have experienced. Their speed, courtesy and car quality is of world class! The best that I have seen so far! Keep up the world class Enterprise Rent-A-Car standard! Happy Customer, I will be back!
Unfortunately I can only give this experience one star for a very fair reason. The car was dangerous to drive.The customer service when picking up the car off airport property at JFK was very friendly. A bit too friendly. Many people welcoming me as if they had nothing else to do.No one was inspecting the cars to see if they were acceptable for rental. The visor on the drivers side was broken. The windshield wipers were not very good in the rain and car had been smoked in so there was a film of residue on the inside of the windshield that made IT difficult to see through especially when the defrost was running and it smelled awful. The main issue was that the headlights were very low and it was hard to see the street and the medians in the roads while it was raining. Soooo dangerous. I was so uncomfortable driving I had to cancel an evening in NJ to get home safe and get out of that car. They said they would consider refunding one day of the rental for my inconvenience and would get the car inspected for safety. We shall see.
Well my flight was delayed but i call them almost four time and ask them if someone can stay to pick my car they said yes someone will stay when i got there to pick up there is this lady says they close they cant do anything i ask her name she said u don’t need to know my name .two ladies just get in there cars drive away like im homeless or something. I never had any problems with enterprise before. Always gave me the best service. I had my 2 kids and wife . Very disappointed.
Tony helped me with my rental at this location, and he was top-notch. My husband had previously rented a mini van for our rental, but he had to change his plans and meet our group later in the week. So I had to rent a vehicle and drive our group, something I was nervous about doing in NY. When I booked the rental online, the only vehicles available that were large enough to carry our group of 7 were large SUVs, no minivans. I was not looking forward to driving such a large vehicle. So when I got to the rental location, I asked Tony if I could change the rental to a minivan. He said that was no problem at all and even helped me choose the Toyota Sienna, which was great. I truly appreciated Tonys kindness and assistance, as the minivan rental was also less expensive than the large SUV. He was more concerned with my comfort level than his making money on a rental. Thank you, Tony!

The shuttle driver was so nice and friendly and didnt hesitate to assist with luggage .Upon entering the reservation area my crew and I were greeted with smiles. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The process didnt take long and professionalism was at its highest.Corey was my check in rep, his demeanor was one that is needed when dealing with customers .He had a keen sense od humor, which was perfect for one of my traveling companions (she too has a good sense of humor)😊We enjoyed our customer service experience and commend staff for such a wonderful beginning to our trip.Thanks
Coming from the South is always a little difficult to get used to the fast pace and less friendly attitude of the Northeast. The folks at Enterprise, however, were super nice and way beyond what needed to be done. Every employee said hello and asked if we needed anything. The folks were quick and smiled the whole time. We were through the process in no time and they gave us a rad car. Our drop off was in a different state and we returned the car a day early. Check out was done in a matter of seconds with no hassle and again super friendly service. Enterprise JFK was awesome!
The Enterprise Rental Office at JFK airport was super excellent. First off, the app told me how to get to the rental office from the terminal. Second, I was greeted by a friendly shuttle driver at the AirTrain pick-up point and then a friendly greeter/desk person at the shuttle drop-off. Inside, Alex assisted me with my rental and was very friendly, courteous, and professional. On our way to inspect the rental car, another Enterprise employee greeted me and said some very warm words that made me smile. And as I left the compound, the dude at the exit booth topped off my 100% positive experience by just being a great guy as he processed me and my rental before letting me leave.On returning the rental car at the JFK office, the lady (I didnt get her name) who checked me in was just so awesome and friendly, which was consistent with everyone else I ran into at this office. She processed my check in quickly and courteously and before I knew it, I was on the shuttle bus heading to the AirTrain and subsequently to Terminal 4.This wonderful experience at the JFK Enterprise Rent a Car left me with better than warm fuzzies and I would not hesitate one second to go with Enterprise at JFK or any other airport/rental office.And by the way: the car I rented, a Nissan Frontier pickup truck, drove well and got me to where I needed to be and back safely without any problems. Mahalo and Aloha Enterprise for one of the best rental car experiences I have ever had.
If you plan on renting a car then Enterprise is the only way to go. Renting a vehicle for 4 days and paid a grand total of $206. The staff was very professional and very knowledgeable. Check-in was a breeze I was in and out the door in less than 5 minutes. The selection of automobiles was excellent. We rented a Kia Optima and I have to tell you it was a surprisingly superb vehicle and it averaged over 38 miles per gallon. Ive tried other rental places in the past but Enterprise now has all my future rentals.
Enterprise is my first experience. And I dont regret chosing them. They are reasonable and understanding. They did everything to make me feel safe and comfortable on my trip. If I have the opportunity of returning I will chose Enterprise again. They will do everything to make your car rental perfect. Thank you. Now I have to add that after all I had been receiving charges to my credit card that I did not approved. For three times in a row. I think they wont stop charging me if I dont cancel my credit card. They dont ask. They dont send invoices. They just charge as they are pleased.
Seamless. Easy. I was in and out very quickly, though it should be noted I picked up on a Sunday morning. Either way, though. Most of the concerns about car rental (hidden prices and general weirdness) were all absent from what was basically one of the most pleasant car renting experiences Ive ever had. Would definitely use this service again.
I’ve used enterprise before and by far this location is the worst customer service. I called up enterprise informing that I will be swapping my current rental and upgrading for a premium car, I was told my reservation will be sent over. Went in spoke to a male who told me they can only swap out cars on Saturday’s and handed me off to a female who seems to be a lead. She pretended to look up my information and completely lied to my face and told me no they don’t do swaps. Although I was informed otherwise over the phone. They didn’t care to even apologize!! Will never use enterprise again. Worst customer service ever.
I rented vehicle from Enterprise JFK location before and always have pleasant experience. Not this time, please let me explain why. Upon arrival to pick up my rental car, gentleman at the counter was very pleasant and professional. After checking in at the front desk he escorted me to the car. We inspected it and he suggested that I should purchase DW, which I did. I have beautiful two days in Long Island.When I returned the car, lady approached me and inspected outside and milage of the vehicle. Too bad, I didnt ask her name. She smiled and said: you good, you will receive car return email shortly. I said: great, thank you! and boarded shuttle bus to Air Train terminal. I received email about my car return 24hrs later. Usually, return email was send from this location or other Enterprise rental locations within one hour of dropping off the car. Then at the end of the week, I received letter from Enterprise, that I returned damaged car.I didnt get in to any kind of accident. When I returned the car, lady dont even mentioned about any damage to the car. So at this point I have no clue what are you guys talking about, because I dont see the damage, nobody mention any damage to me upon return. Now I have accident report to fill, when I dont even got in to accident. So can somebody explain to me what kind of damage you guys accusing me of, please. I feel very frustrated, because nothing ever happened to me like this before. I dont know if this is coincident or not, but car return email was not send to me for entire 24hrs after dropping off the car and now Im being accused of damaging the car. Where, again from previous rentals I received emails from Enterprise within 30min. I have every singe one of them too proof.I have two issues with your station - if I damage the car, why I was not informed or pointed out about it when I returned the car. Second - why it took so long to send email that car was returned.This experience really make me think twice to rent from Enterprise again. I may just go with Alamo ( which is the same owner as Enterprise) or with Silvercar.
DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION. This enterprise location rents vehicles that have been in accidents and does not properly document the damage during the walk around. I recently rented a Pathfinder that had been in a front end collision, the enterprise representative assured me the damage was documented. However, when I returned the car the following day I was told a cracked fog light was not previously noted - only the fender damage and bumper damage. Enterprise is now pursuing me to pay for the cracked fog light even though they documented that it was in an accident prior to the rental. I have attempted to contact Enterprise regarding this multiple times and have not received a response.
At each location, the Enterprise team exceeds my expectations. When our car wasnt ready at the appointed time, there were no fewer than three people engaged in finding the right vehicle and making our experience as painless as possible. Gio updated us regularly on the progress and acknowledged the inconvenience. Everyone at the location has amazing energy and I wish every rental was this good! Thank you for putting in the time to do it so well.
Very supportive staff made us very comfortable as soon as we reached NY airport. Car was ready in good condition. Prepaid fuel is very good facility provided by Enterprise that makes car return hassle-free especially if you are running late.I found Enterprise the most economical option among the car rentals and they have good car options too.
With the exception of the phone call i made to return the car 8 miles away to another airport and being charged an additional $1000.00 + , the experience with Enterprise was good.The customer service reps that wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars more should be reviewed. The company that i work for only uses Enterprise Rental and so do I for my personal use and the phone callI made to change drop off location is beginning to discourage me.
There should be a way to change insurance options without coming back to the office after picking up the vehicle. After picking up my car, I wanted to remove LDW so called an agent and he said that I would need to stop by the office. Well, it sounds like a discouraging way to do that as driving back to their office takes time. Other than that, I don’t know why this should be only done in their office. Any new paper work can and should be done electronically in their website. They can also send an updated contract via email.Otherwise, the staffs were nice, friendly, and helpful. Easy return as well.
Normally I would give this location 5 stars but they disappointed me this time around. Ive been a member with Enterprise for a few years now and have rented a premium vehicle whether suv or sedan. All of a sudden, I get to the airport after a long flight and couldnt get the car of my choice. I was told by the agent at the desk that theyve always limited debit card holders to intermediate and below. It was a false statement. At least tell me its a new rule vs, weve always done it this way. After a long flight I just want the service Ive become accustomed to. Beyond this little snafu the customer service is great. Extending your reservation is streamlined, etc.
The experience was awesome and quick. The cars were ready to pick up and there were options also available which one you want. The lady explained the details quickly and i was out with the car. The return experience was also quick and smooth. I just wish enterprise should also offer and drop off or pick up in the nearby area as other companies.
I was very impressed with the staff and service both coming and going. They clearly have established a process that is quick (not rushed) yet still provides quality customer service. Picking up my car...staff was very friendly and professional. I was offered a free bottle of water while waiting to be helped. They have plenty of staff on hand and they are not standing around. The available cars are housed in an enclosed, large, and airy garage only 50 ft from the sales counter; which is great; no worries about bad weather and no wait for staff to bring around a car that you may not like/want.When I dropped off my car...again very effecient. There was a friendly gentleman waiting for me as I approached with the car who had all my information pulled up (I think my info registers when the car drives over or past a scensor) But a brilliant idea as I have a plane to catch with no time to waste. He asked how the car was, handed me my printed receipt and I was on my way to catch their shuttle to the airport.Speaking of shuttle...Enterprise shuttle driver coming was also very good. Handled our bags on and off the shuttle. Going, however, not so great. Did not handle bags; had to ask him to hand them to me as I off boarded the shuttle.Otherwise, very impressed with the overall operations at the JFK location.Thank you for the quality service.
There were some issues with the vehicle that I didn’t notice until I was on the road. I wish they did a better job maintaining the rental vehicles since they are on the road so often. A bit disappointed the vehicle I wanted was not available but they did offer to upgrade for more money bummer since our budget was set.
Enterprise is a different car rental experience because of their personal, even enthusiastically customer-friendly approach. To be sure, Enterprise employees are carefully trained and supervised to be so attentive. From the moment the shuttle van picks you up - and the driver joyfully jumps out to help with your bags - to your arrival at the check-out desk - and the clerks hands each of you a bottle of water - to the well- dressed agent taking you to your car to inspect it and show you how everything works, Enterprise picks you up.Well done, Enterprise! Someone studied the importance of customer service at business school, paid attention, and is in charge at Enterprise. The cars may be basically the same, and the prices, BUT the service sets Enterprise apart.
Customer service here is phenomenal. All the staff give the vibe that they care about you and their job. I rented from here twice. Both times the staff was very patient and informative. Cars both time were clean. I recently rented a Ford fusion hybrid drove it from NYC to Florida and back out 2700 miles on it never had any issues.Only issue and it isnt enterprise fault is getting a cab out of their at night. UBER was not trying to come to this location for whatever reason. Shame on those uber drivers. This location would be even better if they designed a cab pick up spot for taxi and limousine drivers to find.
By far the worst car rental experience I had ever. I had booked using Amex enterprise rewards and the person who helped me did not give me proper information about how much was being charged on credit card vs using enterprise rewards. And when I was sent to pick a car I was tossed around between 3-4 agents before I could rent the car. A simple 5-10 mins car pick up process took more than 45 minutes. All I wanted was any car to just go home without any specific needs and still they were least helpful. When I returned car in another location I had a very good experience so its just this branch thats an issue I guess.
Shuttle to the Enterprise counter runs every 5 mins from federal circle. Everyone from the shuttle driver to the person at the counter, Lance, was very helpful and even helped load my bags in and out of the shuttle and into the car. When the car class I had booked would not accommodate all my bags, Lance applied a friends n family discount and upgraded me to a bigger suv for just 10$ more. Kudos for their customer service, will definitely use them again.
*Don’t use this location*I use Enterprise weekly, always a great experience. This location unfortunately needs to be better trained. The person that assisted with me refused to give me rates in person and insisted on me calling the 1-800 number. After getting a rental set up over the phone he had me wait 30-45 minutes for the computer to process...something that has never happened. Once he decided he wanted to assist me, I went up and paid and signed all the paper work. All that was left was go get a car, but he decided to interrogate me and my girlfriend on why we needed the car and if we were legal in this country and if we had anything on us that could cause harm to others. We asked him why all the questions and he said that he does that to everyone. Once we refused to answer he showed us the options of the cars. The car cleaner was smoking in the car and I told him I needed a non-smoker car so he had to give me a car that was in KM/H not in MPH, dirty, and with over 65k miles. Car barely had gas and rattled when I drove it over 40 miles per hour. I didn’t want to deal with his aggresive attitude so I didn’t go back. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had. Being a business owner I see the lack of leadership at this location.
The service is excellent. I usually rent a car from this location twice a year. I am a member of Enterprise Plus. I used my points from my previous rental. If there is a problem with the car, i.e. radio is not working, the sales team upgrades the car with a discount. Insurance rates are reasonable. Therefore, I prefer Enterprise and rent my car always from Enterprise. Lllamant from Enterprise is friendly and provides excellent service. He will upgrade your car with no or minimal cost, Overall I am very satisfied with my experience with Enterprise.

The price was high and the mistake on the reservation did not come to my attention until the next day when I got an email with the details. I reserved for 12 hours 6 am to 6pm and understood I would pay for 24 hours but the paperwork showed 2 days: I am still working on the correction. It is taking me 2 days plus to make a correction plus 1-3 hours of being on the phone and going there myself.otherwise they were courteous and prompt to rent the car. The SUV was clean and great to drive. I would have like more verification of my online order at the front desk: no one read the time I would reserved to the time I would give the car back: I did say 6 am to 6 pm same day as I was looking at the sheet and the staff nodded his head in agreement. I could not red the dates on the yellow sheet I received as it was too light.
On my most recent trip to NY, I used Enterprise. I was greeted at the shuttle door and helped off the shuttle and received excellent customer service from Samantha in getting my rental completed. I have found this Enterprise location to give some of the best customer service that I have ever received anywhere in NY, not just among rental car companies.
I was absolutely appalled by the way my family was treated when trying to rent a car today. There was a lovely lady helping us out, explaining the fact that we needed a credit card which we did not know we needed, as we only had a debit card. We had not seen that information on your website and wanted to know if there was anyway of renting the car with the debit card. The Rep, next to the lady who was helping us out finished with his customer and proceeds to give us an attitude saying that it was New York law, etc. We understand that you have policies but there is no need to speak a customer the way that rep did. Renting a car can be stressful but in this case was very easy, I needed a big vehicle to accommodate 6 people with luggage, and I have rented a dodge caravan, when I got there I realized the van was small, fortunately they had an suv for few dollars extra, awesome vehicle Nissan Armada, and returning the vehicle was very easy took 2 min. Good experience I will rent a car from enterprise again.
Good morning, my recent experience at Enterprise car rental in JFK was a very satisfying and pleasant especially in the context as I had chosen to rent initially at Dollar and was treated with the poorest service I have ever experienced. On arrival at Enterprise, I was met at the door by the manager who quickly ushered me to a counter for service. Amongst friendly (Jamaican) banter, my rental was completed in seconds after which I was offered a bottle of water. The agent who checked my car with me was extremely pleasant and bubbly - while checking out the car, she noticed an issue with the windows. She promptly got her cleaner and rags and cleaned the windows of the car. On my return, again I was greeted pleasantly by the agent who completed my return quickly. I was then offered if I needed a cab to take me to the terminal as I had several bags.This was top notch service from a company who has made it a priority to make their customers car rental experience a pleasant and enjoyable one. I primarily rent cars in the Ft Lauderdale area where the service is exceptional as well, my only issue is the rates are not always the most attractive. We unintentionally left our new portable dvd player and a large case full of dvds. I called immediately to let Enterprise know the situation. After to speaking to an employee that told me there was nothing left in the vehicle, I then asked to speak to a manager. The manager claimed she only had time to review a small portion of the surveillance and she would try to get back to me. Still have not heard back. I now plan on contacting corporate. Terrible service and lack of honesty.
I had decided to rent a car to get to the airport instead of using my own and paying for parking. Drop off an pick up was extremely easy. Staff was very friendly. quick 2 minute bus ride to the AirTrain and was at my terminal in no time. I would definitely rent a car to/from the airport again.
Arrived JFK airport midnight and did not know that Enterprise was closed. It took awhile for us to know by calling Enterprise customer service. We were informed that National & Alamo could help us with our reservation. National rent a car at JFK we’re excellent and in no time provided the car rental. We were told that we could return it to Enterprise where I made the online reservation. When I was returning the rental car to Enterprise the manager at Frederick, MD was giving us a hard time telling we could not return the vehicle because it was issued by National and needs to be returned to a National rental car. I had to argue with the manager because National at JFK said it would not be problem returning it to a Enterprise. To cut the story short it took awhile to make several calls for the manager to accept the vehicle. Terrible customer service.
The staff was pleasant as usual. 1.5 weeks after I returned my car I got a certified letter from their damage control center stating there was damage to the vehicle.The manager of the location not only walked the vehicle but also chatted with me for 10 mins. Enterprise reported the damage to their company 6 days after the vehicle was returned . Shade ! Fortunately for me I took out full coverage on this rental. They said i damaged a gas cap, yup.. thats what they claimed I damaged, a gas cap!Damage control would have waived my fee if I did not have insurance and they are passing it to their supervisor for the shade of waiting 6 days to make the claim.When I tried to call this JFK location I was only passed on to customer care to have them tell me that this location does not answer calls.Needless to say, I will not be renting there anymore
The staff is great/friendly but the cars could use some work. Ive rented from this location numerous times over the last few years and there always seems to be something wrong with the car. This time, the windshield washer fluid was empty when I received the car and the low tire pressure warning light came on a couple of days into my rental so I was forced to stop at a gas station and fill up the tires. I found it surprising that the license plate registration was expiring 2 days after I returned the car. Why would they want to cut it so close? Especially if I needed to extend my rental for a couple of days. This location needs to do a better job of checking their cars before renting them out.
The Enterprise employees at the JFK car rental were very accommodating and professional. They made sure we got the right vehicle that we had reserved and in a timely manor.We were later returning the car than we had planned due to an accident on the freeway and they quickly let us park it and leave to get to our flight on time.
Every time we fly in to JFK, we reserve a car at other rental agencys but we finally learned and are sticking with Enterprise. People may not want to wait for the shuttle, but its worth it. The customer service is excellent, people are friendly, vehicles are clean, and they are the only agency who offers a discount for Veterans. Enterprise is far superior to the other rental car options at JFK.
It did not take long for the shuttle bus to take me to the rental car location from the airport. The staff was courteous, provided an upgrade, and had the car ready with the AC on and no delays. The drop off to a different location was also quick and efficient. I appreciated the complimentary ride to the train station.
It was a good car rental. Easy to pick up and drop off the vehicle. I was just disappointed in all of the hidden costs for the car. I got a quote online for $270 for my rental while I was staying in CT. After getting all the paperwork done, the bill is $600+. They didnt say anything about having to buy an insurance plan on the car on their website or on the quote I was given. Felt like a complete scam. I would not have rented a car if I had know it would be this expensive. But I already arranged my trip with having a car in mind. I got a quote months ahead to plan things. A surprise extra $300+ is disgraceful.

2022-02-28I showed up to Enterprise and got the car within about 5-10 minutes, which is pretty good. The car was pretty worn out but that didnt bother me too much. The problems came a few hours after I left the airport. The tire air pressure sensors showed that the left rear tire was leaking air. The sensors showed Front Left - 41 psi, Right Front - 52 psi, Left Rear - 23 psi, Right Rear - 53 psi (see photo). The crazy differences in air pressures shows that nobody really cared what was happening with the tires. Obviously 23 psi is extremely low and 53 psi is ridiculously high for a small car with those specific tires. The pressure should have been 33 all the way around according to Nissan. I didnt have time to exchange the car so I just dealt with the air issue. I put air in that rear tire twice each day (in the morning and then in the evening). At one point, the left rear tire got down to 5 PSI, which is insane. This is an incredible safety hazard. I notified Enterprise of the issue on the second day of my rental period but they just gave me a credit for one free day. They shouldve sent someone out to replace the tire since I was only 10 miles away. Enterprise is usually pretty good but I guess there is just something about NYC that produces bad rental experiences. Note: I am considered a tire expert, with 3 years working as a field representative for a major tire manufacturer.

2022-06-07When I first came into the airport at front counter it went pretty quickly. The young lady that took me to my car was very helpful she let me out very smoothly. But I extremely appreciate my check-in with the young man who checked me in he was very helpful very quick very efficient. You don’t see that often. He’s a perfect example of statement I would use the service again

2022-04-22I have been using Enterprise for years and they always make it a point to go out of their way to accommodate my requests to make my experience enjoyable. Nakia at JFK airport was amazing! I requested a car that was recently rented therefore was no longer available. She found out that one was recently returned, made sure it was detailed immediately, and made available so that I could rent it. That really made my day. I was in NY for a funeral and that gesture meant a great deal to me.

2021-12-20Fantastic customer service from your representative Richard Lee and his manager at the Enterprise JFK location. Not only did they provide me with an upgraded vehicle, when there was an issue with the transmission, Richard Lee & his manager worked efficiently and effortlessly to find the exact replacement of the car I rented within 10 mins and I was on my way again. I won’t use any other car rental service as they have sold me for life on Enterprise and it’s outstanding customer service and vehicle selection, compared to other car rental services (Dollar, Budget)! Richard Lee and his manager deserve to be awarded for their outstanding service and care to Enterprise customers! 6 Star service for a 2 star price can’t be beaten!

2022-06-16Enterprise has been my rent-a-car car company for 5 to 10 years. the people are nice but the worst city to deal with is JFK NY. They need to reorganize and provide better guidance to their customers who coming from a plane, taking the air train and then not knowing the location where to go. I spent 45 minutes looking into a parking lot full of cars. Until a worker from the parking lot told me that Enterprise was sharing the National rent a car building! Poor communication from Enterprise! Overall good customer service!

2022-05-02Horrible. I rented a mid sized suv from JFK, the morning after picking up the car stalled twice, said oil pressure issue and nobody could help. I called into roadside and they had tried to find a replacement car for about 45 minutes with no luck. A few times they told me to take the car in for service 30 minutes away from where i was staying. I called around myself finally one location had a pickup truck and said to come down, I got there 20 minutes later and it was gone. I would never use enterprise again. When I finally made it back to the Airport it took me like 25 minutes to get a manager to speak to.
