The car I rented was a 2018 Hyundai Sonata. It was clean and in excellent condition. Enterprise picked me up promptly on the first day. So far, that was 5 star service. However upon returning the car to Enterprise on the last day, there was no one available to bring me back to my auto repair facility where my repaired car was waiting. After waiting unsuccessfully for almost 45 minutes for an Enterprise staff person to become available, I gave up and was on my own to find my way back. Dont believe the Enterprise promise to pick you up and bring you back. They dont promise to do it promptly. Deduct two stars for poor customer support.
The staff was very helpful, with picking up the rental. I didnt have to wait too long. However, on returning it, I found that it took a little too long of a wait for them to help. There was one person waiting to return his car. Yet, the two reps that were present both asked me to patiently wait until they could assist me. ??? Once they did assist me, it was a quick and easy process.
These folks are amazing.I generally try to rent from Enterprise because their service is so much better than their competitors, but these guys went WAY out of their way to get me a great deal on a brand new SUV for my wifes birthday weekend. So, SO glad to see customer service is still alive and thriving at some companies. Kudos!
Each time I, one of my daughters or my sister have rented from Enterprise, the experience has been positive. We generally get the cars from the Georgetown, CT rental place, but this time I rented in NYC as suggested by the Tech Collision facility, and I was given a Ford station wagon which was in excellent shape, was similar in size to my subaru and which drove well. There have been no problems in any of our uses of Enterprise cars. Staff always helpful.
The team was very courteous and moved me through the process very quickly. The only issue I had was when returning the car. I was charged the wrong amount (they ignored my discount code) and I had to reach out to the manager via email to correct this. The issue was resolved quickly but prevents me from giving 5 starts.
We had a great experience with renting a car from Enterprise over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The car was in great shape, ready on time, and the employees we worked with (Sean and Erica) were extremely friendly and helpful. I rent cars from various companies for business travel a few times a year, and this was definitely the most convenient and pleasant experiences Ive had in a long time. Cheers!
Five stars for customer service . Everyone was nice enough but we had to rent a car do to the fact that our car wasnt ready yet. This car was a total buzz kill with severally stained seats. Which is just gross. Of course that was the only car that was available so what could we do. Would we rent again from this location again ? Absolutely because the customer service was great compared to other enterprise. Just wasnt happy with the car.
This is by far my most favorite rental car location in the country. The staff goes above and beyond to help you. Especially the Branch Manager Ayo. This truly is how all service businesses should be run. I have only left 2 google reviews ever and both have been for this enterprise location!!
We pick up the car and got an upgrade from Ayo, manager for the branch. He was professional and accommodating. After 11 days, we returned the vehicle and Juan was the person that help us to complete the paperwork. The team was professional and will definitely use Enterprise for all of my future travels. The billing was fast and staff was efficient.
After an agonizing two-day experience with a competitor, I was referred to Enterprise where to my delight I was handled with passion, care, professionalism, courtesy, and doing all it took to get me successfully into a car (I was dealing with my car having been hit by another car and coping with the insurance carriers decision on a rental agency).The folk at Enterprise were welcoming, getting ready for their support of the Rangers race to the Stanley Cup, and seemed in taking pride in helping and providing quality customer service, while enjoying life and people.The car was clean, new and in remarkable condition. I actually dreaded returning it! :^DThanks Enterprise!
I booked a car here for July 4th weekend in May and when I arrived to pick it up, I waited 50 minutes only to be told there were no cars available; however, I could go 90 minutes out of my way and get one. The customer service and overall experience was horrible and I would not recommend this location if you actually need a rental car.
Friendly staff, process of renting a car was easy and fast. Literally was there for less than 20 minutes. Also be aware that there is street construction in the area and if you are returning a car it can be a bit of a challenge to enter the garage with the flow of traffic. Other than that this is a very good rental place if you live in midtown west or UWS.
Great experience anytime I am dealing with them both for personal and professional use. They go out of their way to help out and make sure that I leave satisfied, they dont nickel and dime me like most rental companies. Would never rent from anywhere else.Manager to staff are by far most the best crew.
Well.... they didnt have the transponder to use for the tolls in the New York area. So I got a free upgrade.... very nice compromise.However the car was dirty, inside and out. When we opened the back to put luggage in - it had the typical scattered pieces of paper leaves etc... the rep offered to vacuum it. I said YES please do. After leaving the location we went to put something into the center console and found food from the last renter.Other than above - the experience was awesome... I always use Enterprise and will continue to do so.
My experience with Enterprise has always been a good one. I have rented with Enterprise in many states and the whole process of picking a car, doing whatever paper work and getting out of the office always quick easy. In particular this last rental at Manhattan 11th ave location Ayo Alabi the manager on duty was really great in making the rental experience great. Ayo washed the car and made sure it was dry, clean and functional. He assisted in making sure I understood and knew how to work all car features. I truly appreciated his help. Thumbs up for while experience.
Very professional, friendly and solution oriented. Seriously, someone should use these guys for a case study on client service. Ive rented from this location quite regularly over the last two years - great experience every time. And a pretty nice selection of cars too!!
I dont review often, but I had to say that this location of Enterprise was excellent, taking the normal pretty high standards of Enterprise up notch. Renting cars in Manhattan can be a pain, but the location of this place made it very easy and I recommend it for that along.The staff here was excellent and reasonable, saving me time and money with their advice. If Im renting in Manhattan, this is where Im going.
You need to watch this place. Dont now if its only this location or not but you will rarely receive a car with a full tank. However they charge however they always seem to be able to charge folks for if they return the car not filled. Where does this money go? Nice workers however
The starting process was ok although they did not pick us up, but they reimbursed us the taxi fare from local residence to their place. The car was nice as per our choice and the renting agent was helpful, even followed up through a phone call in the evening. But the return process was painful and unacceptable. The person-in-charge was inventing a dent on the car when there was none. Our feeling was that the person was trying to claim damage to the car and extract more money. We vehemently opposed his claim for a dent and even dirtied my fingers trying to feel the dent which the rental guy was claiming. Finally, after some hot arguments, he did not charge us for his dent. Anyway, I will not rent a car from this location again and will advise others not to rent.
AJ, JOSH and the ENTIRE staff (apologies for not recalling everyones name) are always very helpful and go above and beyond to make things happen. Whenever renting a vehicle I never worry about the vehicle not being available or ready, gassed up and ready to drive off. Renting vehicles can be just as painful as buying a car and they make the processs so seamless that I usually get in and out of there within minutes. Its such a pleasureable experience. I look forward to many more rentals in the future and working together with them. #dunkindonuts
I only use Enterprise, and have NEVER had a bad experience. To the contrary, I cannot name another global business which has this degree of integrity, charm and warmth. Its always a pleasure to use them, and this time was no exception. (Though as a Manhattan renter, I really hate that they dont open until 3pm on Sundays, and theres nowhere to drop off a car after 7pm. Thats just crazy. Couldnt they open just ONE Manhattan branch with better hours?!?!? But I work around it rather than even consider using their competition!
Different location drop off fee is more expensive than what I have been told. I have been charged more without getting any deposit back. And it is absolutely not helpful calling service line, nobody will actually help you and they will let you making more calls and writing more emails.
First car i got was stained and smelled like smoke. Got another car that did not stink or have stains. They do wash and vacuum the cars but you have to dry the windows yourself with paper towel or a cloth so you can see out of all of your windows. All in all it was just ok which is why im giving 3/5 stars
I use to rent cars in Manhattan, and how I recently move to the upper west side I decide to try a new agency, THE WORST THING THAT I CAN EVER DO!!! Im so regret about to rent a car in Enterprice, the service is worst than ever!!! I dont like it, I DONT RECOMMEND IT!!! They are really bad, also I have been like 50min in all the process to rent the car!, I invert a lot of time in something that usually have to take like 15min maximum!!!The should be close!!!!Ill repeat it again!DONT RENT A CAR HERE!!!! You will lose your time!!!!!!
The website advised ai could call for a pick up so my reservation was for 7pm on a friday. I called the location at 4pm to schedule a pick up. Only to learn they stopped picking people up at 3pm and the location closes at 7 so I needed to get there before 7pm. Why would you allow me to schedule a rental pick up at 7pm if you close at 7pm. And why is the website advertising services that the location will not provide. It is extremely frustrating. I would have gone to any rental car place. But it was a last minute rental. I doubt I will return to enterprise again. Because of this.
I got slapped for dent on the hood of a rental that I am positive was on the car when I picked it up in Manhattan. Just a word of advice to any future renters. Make them take the car outside where you can expect it in full sun light. Get down on your knees and look across the hood and side for any dents and make sure they are fully marked on your contract.
Getting the car was no problem. I was well assisted by the representative. He walked me through the details of the things i was paying for. The price was way off my expectations but its new york anyway plus the fact that I was upgraded to the next tier. Going back though i returned the car two days ahead of the expected time plus i filled it up which is more than a fourth of the tank when i picked up the car and yet the person who received the car dont even want to drop me off the hotel. He told me about a policy where they can only drop off clients within their area only which he said was before times square he told me as they cant go beyond it coz they wont be able to turn back anymore but we were staying at The Manhattan Time Square which is between the W51st and W52nd on the 7th street which is around two blocks before Times Square. So he said he cant drop me off. I begged him to just drop me off at the nearest he could to my hotel and thats the only time he said yes. He could have offered the same thing also but probably he was already nearing his breaktime that he cant give me that additional service. So off he brought me, my wife and my daughter three blocks away from the hotel. So we had to walk. So the service could have been a 5 star but because of the non-caring gentleman i can only give 3 stars for the service. So guys if you are beyond the 49th street of Manhattan forget about this car rental place.
Professional and certious staff, but could have been more helpful in the rental option I was given. I called before I went in and was told there were options to choose from. But when I got there is was basically pushed into the model I got and I did see others parked up.
Totally frustrated. I was not informed when I get the car that I should pay for 2 days rent even if I need the car just for one day. I just come to know when the bill arrived at my email box.The Enterprise employee treated me very bad not providing right answers for my queries.I phone to them to complain about the treatment I received and they didnt give me any attention.
I had a good experience at the 11th ave location but when they called me to renew my rental agreement (because I am renting this car for so long) they said I could go to any Enterprise location to sign the paperwork again. I went to the location on Thompson street and it was AWFUL. I got there at 8:30am when there were 4 office workers there and no customers. I explained why I was there and gave my name. He looked me up in the computer and said he would try to help me out but since this wasnt from his location he didnt know. I explained what I was told and he made a phone call and that ended with OK call me back and then went back the counter and told me that 11th ave would call him back. I asked when that would be as I have to go to work... He repeatedly said they would call back and that he was just trying to help me out even though this wasnt his job. I asked him to call 11th Ave back and ask them if they are calling back in 10 minutes or an hour. Because I have to go to work. and the Thompson St. worker didnt budge, and repeated over and over they would call back, he didnt know when, he didnt know when I had to go to work (which of course I do and needed to know when I would ever get this call back that MIGHT lead to papers I could sign). I cant tell you how awful it was but I am trying. This experience wiped out the good experience I originally had with 11th Ave.
The worst experience ever!! There was just a girl at the front desk for 10 customer . If you are out of your mind and decide to rent a car there you will need at least 45 minutes to receive the car. The process to rent a car in that place is so complex for unknown reasons, they ask you a lot of things , check your documents like FBI, and all its about their policies and lots of paper work...
Horrible customer service, and dishonest. They were trying of ways just to get rid of me when I asked more questions for clarification. Apparently their system cant detect me. 5 minutes before that i called another location and they could. The next day when i returned my car to another location said its impossible the system cant access my information. All in all, shitty outlet.
Hassel free rental experience... always a pleasure to walk in and drive out....the process never takes more than 15 minutes (if that)...Special thanks to Karim (Management) and his staff for making my many encounters at this locations fast, efficient, courteous and professional services rendered.

Very good rental. Customer service is fast and our consultant was very nice and helpful to us with everything we needed, offering us various advice. There were no Niw queues and the service at a very high level. She did not leave us alone for a moment. They took care of us from the beginning until we left. The downside is the high rental prices, but the help we experienced here and the kindness of employees eliminate all the disadvantages. Clearly the best rental shop in New York.A BIG PLUS FOR CUSTOMERS IN EUROPEIn Europe, 90% of us use chip / chip cards, not magnetic ones. The rental is one of the few in New York that offers payment with a chip card. In other rentals, you will not get NOTHING without a magnetic card

2020-11-23I’ve been a Enterprise customer for over 10 years and have never had any complaints. However, this location definitely gets 5 stars. The hospitality, professionalism, and regard for your time needs to be mentioned. The staff and branch manager Christine are the best. My experience at this location has definitely made this my go-to location when I need a rental. The service is top notch!

2021-12-04Called to inquire and ask a question and Christine was very rude. I re asked the question for clarity and she put me on mute. I said hello, she took me off mute I heard her and her co workers laughing at me and then she answered my question I asked to speak to another rep and she hung up on me. I called back and she put the call as busy. Christine if you hate your job, quit.

2019-05-09These guys are always excellent. Efficient and courteous. Garage door was closed when I returned car at appointed time of 3pm, but there was an employee waiting outside explaining the owner was delayed by traffic. The employee offered to take the car and keys and process once opened. Much appreciated.

2018-07-18I just never thought, I would experience this..... Every time before, I have rented a car, I have just felt, that the only thing the car-rental-company was up to, was to cheat me..... That is NOT the case with Enterprise Rent-a-car on 11th avenue in New York. This i just some perfect people.... only trying to serve you as a customer.... only trying to give you a good experience..... You are never nervous about them. They are doing their utmost to make you feel good. Thank you very much !

2019-09-10The customer service there is pretty top notch. The key is going there in person. I believe they treat you better at the store as opposed to over the phone. There was a problem with the original car I rented and they swiftly swapped it out without any fees or barely any time wasted. Super nice and helpful.

2019-09-23Joshua, the assistant branch manager, is outstanding at customer service and solving problems for his customers. I had a reservation for a specific type of vehicle from this location. He called me the day before to let me know they would not have the car, but called around till he found a location that did. I did have to go to that location to pick the vehicle up, but he allowed me to return to this location at no additional cost and gave me a little more time in the vehicle at no cost as consideration for the inconvenience. Obviously would have liked to have picked up and returned the car at this location, but the important thing here is he identified the issue ahead of time, called to let me know, worked out a solution, and compensated me with extra time for the inconvenience. That is excellent customer service. A++++++

2016-03-17Customer service was excellent when I picked up my car. I did not have to wait long in line, and they got me into the car quickly. Returning the car was super easy as well. I have never had such an easy and pleasant experience renting a car in NYC.
