Terrible service. I confirmed my reservation and gave them all my information and then when I got there they would not rent to me even though I have a spotless record and major credit card. They said that they couldnt rent to me because my aunt is on a do not rent list. I dont understand why that should stop me from renting a car.
So after our car broke down this past week and getting it fixed only to have another issue i decided to look on getting a rental car for the weekend. We have a soccer tournament in Rochester we needed to get to. Starting the day off i had originally made a reservation through Priceline which turned out to be a big mistake. Moving on. I then called enterprise and spoke with a nice women who set me up to pick up a vehicle yesterday at the Niagara Falls Airport. I thought that was great. I live nearby. I get there only to find they only have rental cars for some incoming flights and they have none at the time. How did i find this out??? Went there, nobody was at this airport. It was a ghost town. There was a phone # at the enterprise counter to call. I was advised there reservation team must of made a mistake and they dont rent out cars there. Now having an extremely bad week i was very upset. I then called and was advised maybe the orchard park location had a vehicle i could rent. I called them directly and spoke to Jacob who was the branch manager. Wow.... this guy was fantastic. He told me to come in and he would take care of everything. After driving 35 minutes there thats exactly what he did. I was in and out within 15 minutes with a car for my weekend. This guy represents what a caring, dedicated and loyal employee should be. He is the only reason i will come back to Enterprise. This company made the right chose in having him as there branch manager. Thanks again Jacob!!!
Worst location I have ever rented from! Enterprise has definitely lost me as a client and definitely will be losing more clients after I stop referring people to rent from such a horrible company. Here’s why: enterprise advertises they pick you up and drop you off. Well when they stated they would drop us off we made a stop to drop off someone else at a dealership and than the driver sped back into the office parking lot slammed the shuttle in park and had someone from inside the office come out and tell me that the shuttle was not going to take us home literally 4 miles away from the office. After they had us in the shuttle they literally kicked us out of the shuttle over not wanting to drive 4 miles from the office..we had to walk home instead. Literally the rudest people I have dealt with. Called my insurance company to tell them about the incident with my insurance company being disappointed with enterprise. Hertz definitely will have me and those I network with as clients instead of enterprise who left me and my friend walking with a healing broken arm. Shame on you Enterprise for being so disrespectful especially to a first responder. Never have I been so disappointed, disrespected and embarrassed like the way Enterprise made me feel today!
I seem to keep having bad luck with one particular location. The first time I rented a car I received one with expired plates. The second time I received a car that smelled terribly like smoke. The replacement car they gave me was tiny. I asked for and paid for a full size car and received a mid size once and a compact car another time. I’m not sure why the inconsistency in vehicle sizes but I’d be disappointed in that alone to say the least. Not to mention the poor customer service I received when wanting to switch out the cars. Bottom line, if you want to keep your customers happy after a bad experience or in general, I suggest upgrading them into a more luxurious ride rather than a smaller one especially after a bad experience. And to prevent them even having bad experiences, make sure the cars are road legal and cleaned more thoroughly. Needless to say I will not be renting a car from enterprise again.
In general I had a good experience. I rented a premium sedan and the car they brought me had an alert on it about a battery. It wouldnt go away which was annoying during my trip because it wouldnt go away and it blocked part of the dash. Other than that the car drove great and it was brand new. The associate was very pleasant and pick and drop off went smoothly
I had to get a loaner car while my car was in the shop (for half a day). The loaner I received was dirty, not just outside, but inside as well. There was food reminders in the cup holders from one of the previous renters, the inheritor was coated in dust, and the car was clearly not sanitized (which you would think would be of a high priority during Covid). The outside of the car was hosed down when they brought it out front, but it was not washed and was clearly dirty. If I wanted to drive a car that looked like it went through the winter without being washed I could drive my kids car. I had mentioned this to the staff inside when I returned the vehicle and they said that they would discount the rental. Now my dealer was covering the rental, but when I received the receipt they had charged the full rate for both the rental to the dealer and the full charge for the insurance to my card. I would suggest avoiding this location if at all possible. I have used Enterprise above any other rental company for the better part of 20 years, and if given the choice between this location or any other rental company, Enterprise of southwestern blvd would not have my business even if it meant no car to drive!
Needed a mini van or small SUV due to my disability and need to carry a wheel chair. I could not be happier with the outstanding service i received from management assistant Mr Zack Panebiano. Mr Panebiano went above and beyond to take care of my needs. Huge thank you to Enterprise Orchard Park NY for having such an outstanding employee. I will be a customer for life..... Thank You !!!
This Enterprise is horrible my daughter needed to rent a vehicle from them while her car was being repaired. First the dealership advised her she had a car reserved. She goes to drop of her car and pick up the rental they say there is not a vehicle available for her till 5pm. She drove an hour to the dealer and Enterprise. They tell her to come back the next day. She had to get a driver to take her back to Enterprise she proceeds to tell Enterprise how displeased she is when she picks up the vehicle they were so rude and did not care about she was treated and would not compensate her for there errors. Lastly this Enterprise just lost customers we will never rent from them again!
The day before we left for my wedding in Maine, they tried telling me my licence was invalid and refused to rent to me, despite having other enterprise locations rent me cars/vans on several occasions previously. Manager was very unhelpful or accommodating. My wife tried to move the rental to her name and they refused to change the reservation or to even help. I have be using Enterprise for close to 7 years now and will no longer be using them for rentals
Where to begin,The first rental I received smelled like an ashtray. Of all the Enterpises Ive rented with, Ive never had a vehicle that smelled like cigarettes. I called and asked for another rental and nobody could come to me so I went back the following day. The second car had a massive crack in the windshield. Went back a second time to switch to a third vehicle. The third vehicle also had a faint cigarette smell but I was pretty much done wasting my time and only had it for a short period. I found all three vehicles to be subpar to the cleaning standards they claim, especially with so-called COVID-19 protocols in place. Overall poor experience. I would not rent from this location again unless I had no choice.
No issues here. Had a reservation for a full size, asked what they had, walked out quickly, saw something that was exactly what I wanted, but they wanted to clean it up first. I was taking it for a work trip to repair something at a customers location and didnt need it sparkling clean. The exterior was fine, regardless, and the interior would have only benefited, maybe, from a quick vacuuming. I asked them to skip that so that I could have that car, they obliged, and I was on my way.The only minor note was that my company had reserved the car for me, the reservation was given to me and there was one price on it. When I got there, the girl showing me the car told me a different price.. about $50 more for the 2 or 3 days that I had the car. I showed her my reservation and asked for an explanation and she then told me about the insurances, etc. Personally, I think thats a poor way to do business. I get that they are commission driven, but that should be a SALE where they pitch that extra thing to me and talk me into it, not snake it into the price... thats a little ridiculous... So, buyer beware, I guess. Aside from that, she was very pleasant and easy to work with.There were a couple of people in front of me when I dropped the car off - they were being slow and indecisive, and the only person working the desk had noticed me pull in, come in and stand in line, so he asked quickly if I was just dropping the car off. I told him yes, assured him that there werent any problems, and he said that he would just call me later when they got a chance to look at the car. I got a call about 10 minutes later on my way back to the office letting me know that everything was fine, verifying the original cost of the rental, and that was it.Pretty simple process, no complaints about the vehicle or the associates at the store. Quick, painless rental experience.
Enterprise staff in Orchard Park, NY is fabulous. They are very knowledgeable and professional. They will work with you if you need to change a reservation or type of vehicle you may need. They called when I was on the road to see how everything was going and how the car was. I had a few issues, tire pressure was too high and the oil change light kept coming on. We added some oil because it was a bit low. We just let some air out and reset the oil change light. I did let the staff know and they could not apologize enough. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.
My experience at Enterprise for renting a car at the weekend special rate was outstanding. The manager was most accommodating for every aspect of the rental. Pickup service was prompt and courteous as was bringing be home. Upon arrival at Enterprise, my paperwork went smoothly and the car was ready to go. I really enjoyed the weekend with my Hyundai Elantra rental. This car is very peppy, gives great mileage and handles well on the highway. I will do this again as I have a need to rent a car and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 3544 Southwestern Blvd. Orchard Park will be my first choice. Thank you for great service!
Enterprise provides great service and quality vehicles. Ive enjoyed the experience with the exception of the new practice of providing vehicles with the gas tank half-full or less. This is a subtle way of saving money because now at the end of the trip I have to calculate how much fuel to put in so I dont return the car with less fuel. On my last trip I was over by a quarter tank. Your welcome, Enterprise. The full-tank practice is much more equitable.
I rent cars from Enterprise pretty often and I always have the best experiences at the Orchard Park location. Kyle S. has frequently set me up with my cars. Hes always professional and courteous, always make sure that I get the car I need, that it is clean and perfect, and that I get a ride if I need one. Kyles manager was great too. Doing business here is always a pleasure!
I have nothing but good things to say about Enterprise and its wonderful staff. Each of the people that work there bring that something extra that makes it a pleasure to do business with them. I rent vehicles fairly often and have not ever had anything but a great experience. Courteous, personable, and professional! I recently worked with Taylor S. at the Orchard Park Road location and he was terrific. He picked me up on time, made the rental process streamlined and efficient, and helped me again during the return- a charming young man! Thanks Enterprise!
Staff super helpful & service-oriented. My only feedback is although the vehicle was really clean & had no smells, the inside of the windshield was dirty, smeared & difficult to see through in the bright sunlight. The put me in a Hundai Santa Fe & there were a number of features I wasnt fond of, particularly the way the seats are molded, they put my back in an uncomfortable position. The upside is Ill know not to buy one when Im ready for my next vehicle purchase. Otherwise Enterprise was very professional & did good job.
I have had nothing but great things to say about enterprise rental car . They have worked with me and always there when I needed them going out of their way to fill my needs for a vehicle . I totally say if you need a rental call enterprise they will do everything to fill your needs
Experience with this location is generally good. My one issue is that I rarely, if ever, get the vehicle type/class that I reserve. I am almost always pushed up into a larger vehicle because the availability of the smaller, more fuel efficient vehicles is always lacking. When I make a reservation for a midsize or standard vehicle, that is what I want as it is all the size I need and better on fuel economy. Do a better job of matching vehicles to reservations.
Im actually doing this review while sitting in the waiting area. There are only two workers here to assist a lobby full of people on a Saturday afternoon. I dont doubt that the car will work as expected, but this lack of staffing has definitely put a dent in my day. It takes more than two employees to run a rental place efficiently...And we just got skipped in line. Unacceptable.I may decide to change this rating based on what happens next. We shall see.
Rented a car online, pickup process was pretty quick. I was planning on driving the rental car into Canada - the employee working with me printed the rental contract so Id have it for the border. He went over the car with me to note any scratches or dents, as well as showed me how to use the windshield wipers. Car was nice and new, drove fine, AC and speakers worked. Only took a minute or two to return it.
I rent almost exclusively through Enterprise Rent-A-Car now. They always have the vehicle class that I am looking for at a price that is lower than every other Rent-A-Car company. They also have a wider variety of locations where I may pick up the vehicle. They dont make me drive to the airport all the time. Their customer service is excellent. Every representative that I have worked with has been polite, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.
I was in an accident on march 24, on the 25th my insurance company sent me to this place for my rental car. Im a disabled person and They lied to me about the price and when I brought the car back on the 19th of April. They charged me $200 in deposits and $ 228.00 after deposits so $428.00. My insurance company paid from march 25th til the april 17th. The guy told me it would only be a couple extra dollars because insurance would cover mostly all of it. So why did I have to pay so much. I would of never got the car if I would have known this. I believe i was tooken advantage of.
When I first called Enterprise I talked to a female in a call center and it was a complete nightmare. I dont think she understood English very well. I called The Orchard Park location and went there Phil & John were absolutely amazing. I needed another vehicle for 5 days while my 2016 Chevy Trax was being repaired because it was in an accident. I didnt want to drive a small little compact car. Phil managed to get me a Toyota RAV4 with only 5000 miles on it. I thought it was going to cost me a bunch of money but Phil got it to where my insurance paid for everything. It was 100% hassle free everything worked out better than I could have possibly imagined. If you ever need a vehicle this is the place to go. What an awesome experience. Thank you Phil and John you have gained a customer for life.
The people were very friendly. I got my car and everything was explained well. I found out I could drop off at another location, for a small fee, which came in handy. I was leaving during a winter storm. Having my family take me to the airport with small children in tow was not a safe idea. I was able to go straight to the airport, drop off and make my flight without any issues or headaches. The gentleman at the airport drop off was just as nice. I will be using them again.
Recently went through a Subaru recall that required the need for a rental car. Subaru had made arrangements with the Enterprise location near the West Herr dealership at 3356 Southwestern Blvd in Orchard Park. Due to this recall, and at least one other, there was a run on the rentals at hand which made for a very touchy situation. The employees at this location responded calmly, professionally and made sure that all customers were satisfactorily taken care…making a very difficult situation tolerable.Our experience at this Enterprise location could not have been better and Enterprise will be our first choice for car rental if/when the need arises in the future!
I have been renting vehicles from this location for well over 15 years. I rent exclusively at this location as they give the best service there. I will continue to do so. The last car we rented had great trunk space but head room was not so good. My husband is only 5 feet 6 inches tall and had barely 1 inch head space. Not the most comfortable ride. I would not rent this type car again (Sentra). However, I will continue to rent from Enterprise.
As a long time customer of 25yrs I tried booking in Cheektowaga N.Y. on Genesee with a manager at that location. Was rudely told Drew gone and this guy was annoyed because I was asking 4 some1 else. Hung up and booked another location w pick up on Transit Rd 8/22/18 in Depew. After this months long booking I arrived and was told no cars were available AND I had to go to Orchard Park location 4 a car! Wrong on every level. Was given a small discount at checkout 4 my troubles. Unacceptable. Direct messages later I was told a regional mgr would contact me. Two months later Im still waiting for the call. Absolutely no customer service anymore.
Needed a one-way rental from Orchard Park, NY to Cleveland to pick up my new car. Had the driver pick me up and he was a little late due to bad weather. By the time we got to my local Enterprise, they were technically closed, but they waited until I got there because they knew I was coming. Upgraded me from full-size Camry to large Nissan SUV for no additional fee just for my inconvenience! Unheard of customer service! VERY PLEASED! Dropping the rental off in Cleveland took a total of about 5 minutes too. Will ALWAYS use Enterprise!!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!I had to deal with this location after being involved in an accident. (Loaner car arranged through this location)The first car I was given was absolutely filthy on the inside, and had a defective tire pressure gauge. Most importantly, when another issue arose with the rental, the Manager, Elliott, was unhelpful, and extremely rude/snarky. I would WALK before ever renting a car from this location!!!!
Ive been carless waiting on West Herr Dodge for 4 days. They finally okd a rental today and made me run from Buffalo to Orchard Park in less than an hour to pick up from Enterprise before they closed. Got here at 3pm sharp and called 5 min prior and asked Enterprise to wait. The young man said ok yet the door is locked and wasted my trip from Buffalo to Orchard Park. Im never renting at Enterprise again, how rude!
He said he is the Manager his name is Vince, he was so . I just ask for my receipt he said go online and print a receipt, region I ask my receipts they charge me for 3 days instead of 2 days. The first girl, she sends my receipt right away when I saw they charged me for 3 days, again I call them n ask for change and my receipt they did not send me, again I call n ask they said I need to go online to get my receipt.
I went online and I booked a truck for a very important project that I had going on when I arrived at the location the truck was not there and they had no replacements I had to cancel my trip and make other arrangements huge inconvenience and all they could tell me is oops we forgot to call very sorry I usually booked through Avis I should have known better

2021-12-27The staff was extremely polite and helpful. They helped me extend my rental an extra day quickly and without fuss and the pickup/drop off process was a breeze. The vehicle was clean and well maintained and the staff even warmed it up and defrosted it before handing it over to me!

2022-04-15The service was great. My only complaint is the cars are not cleaned properly. The truck I got had someone who smoked heavy and the windows had a disgusting film on them.When someone rents the vehicle and is told NO SMOKING ALLOWED and the vehicle is returned and reeks of cigarette smoke ( that was sprayed with fabreeze by the lot person to hide it ) the vehicle should be sent out to be professionally detailed and the customer who smoked should be billed for it.My future rental the employee will be informed Do not rent me a car someone has smoked in. I’ll refuse it

2022-02-11I rent sometimes monthly and never had an issue. My last trip I got a car with bad tires but due to it being a weekend I couldnt get a new car right away. Once a car became available the process was smooth. No arguing with any staff. When I returned home I explained my situation to the local office in orchard park and again no arguing just nothing but good customer service. Thank you Jacob!

2022-06-20After a terrible experience today I will not be using Enterprise and certainly would not recommend them. Had an appointment to pick up a vehicle this afternoon (booked 2 days ago by scheduling) and after driving 20 miles across town we were informed that there was no record of our appointment and also no cars available. Manager blamed scheduling dept and offered no help to resolve our issue. Another guy came in towards the end of our visit, had the exact same issue and also walked out with no car. Now after an accident that was no fault of ours, leaving work early today and traveling 40 miles out of our way, we are stuck without a vehicle. Thanks for nothing!Regarding the response: as per the owner, book an appointment with Enterprise at your own risk apparently and have a plan B. Be prepared to be inconvenienced as a reservation doesn’t mean you will be getting a car. Maybe I’m missing something - why book a reservation if you don’t have a car available? This must happen often as again another guy had the same issue this afternoon. That’s two within 10 minutes time.

2022-06-11It’s always a surprise at enterprise!May 31st I rent a truck online with enterprise in East Amherst, NY (About 25 min drive) I get a confirmation number and go to get it on my scheduled pickup date. (June 3rd) When I get there they inform me they don’t actually have any trucks and all locations were closing soon do to it being Saturday afternoon.I then rent one online with the location in Orchard Park, NY on June 5th. (That’s a 40 min drive) I call in the morning to confirm the can put eyes on the truck and it was all cleaned up and ready to go. When I get there they inform me the truck is actually 2k miles overdue for an oil change and they can’t release It until June 6th at 10am because there shop is closed.I then call the location on Sheridan Drive in Amherst and they confirm there is a truck available it is all cleaned up and good to go. So we drive all the way over there and finally they have a truck. Although it’s a base model quad cab (extended cab) truck. They didn’t clean the truck at all. Dirt in the truck, stains on the seats, dog hair in the back seat (dogs not allowed. I took the truck anyways because I was already late for my vacation at this time.I will not be renting a vehicle from enterprise again. I recommend everyone to stay away!

2022-06-01Its not just the empty tank I drove off in, the car smelled, was not clean. The rental agreement stated I had 1,500 miles less than when I left the lot. Never have I had such a terrible experience with enterprise.

2022-03-21The staff was great, the car was ok. After a few miles down the road a noticed a putrid vomit smell. I was traveling for work (5+ hours one way) and didnt have time to turn back resulting in me having to smell vomit my entire trip. It was disgusting. As I was driving I noticed odd smears on the rear seats (vomit?) and doors. This was my first unpleasant experience but I dont know how they could rent a car and not think someone would notice that smell.
