Enterprise Rent-A-Car in other cities:
Used Enterprise in NYC LGA. The rental return at LGA is a nightmare with traffic. The agent told me a short cut to walk to the Southwest Terminal instead of taking the shuttle that could take 30+ minutes due to traffic. When I told him my wife could not walk due to a recent knee operation....he did not flinch...he told me he would drive me there and use an alternative route. Great service as always.
There were a couple complications and a complaining customer beside us that made it a lengthy process at the counter. we were very lucky that the lady La La was so amazing in assisting us. if it wasnt for her it would have been horrible, she made all the difference and we are so thankful for her that day.
The manager of this location was rude and incompetent and went as far and not willing to speak with National Car Rentals roadside assistant agent to sort out a miscommunication. She blamed an internal communication error on the customer and was uncooperative and uninterested in providing any assistance. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
Extra extra special thank you to Hark at the Laguardia Ditmars Blvd. location. He saw that I had large pieces of luggage and I was by myself. He offered to take me directly to my terminal because it would be a struggle for me to carry the luggage and maneuver through all of the shuttle services to get to my terminal. He saved me at least 30 minutes of time. I got to my terminal around 7am which was plenty of time before my flight boarded at 8:51am. My flight was leaving from terminal B. I am a member of Clear which is similiar to TSA precheck. Unbeknownst to me, terminal B doesnt have clear! I was stunned and realized I might miss my flight due to the RIDICULOUSLY long lines to get through TSA. I snapped a photo of this long line to send to my family at 7:18 am. I was in boarding group 6 for my flight and my group was boarding when I made it to my gate at 9am! Thats right! It took almost an hour and 45 minutes to get through all of the TSA screenings and walk the excessively long journey to my gate. I had to tell you all of that because had it not been for Hark saving me 30 minutes of shuttle bus time, I would have missed my flight due to the series of unfortunate events that transpired. Its always the unforeseen little things that can make a BIG difference in how your day goes. So again, THANKS SO MUCH HARK! You truly made my day!
I arrived in NY LaGuardia Airport on May 29th. Having a reservation for rental journey car which my daughter made in my behalf. She failed to mention my special needs. After meeting with Shanteek and Damar all needs were met. Shanteek went extra miles just to accommodate me. Its Managers and Assistant Managers like those gentleman thats makes Renting Cars a pleasant experience. Thanks Shanteek and Damar from the bottom of my heart. God bless everyone and some extra for Shanteek 🙏🏽 ❤️
Ali and James were great help today !Ali made sure I got all I needed for my rental and James helped me with their broken soda machine haha.one point for the broken soda machine I guess...picking up cars from the airport means you gotta get a shuttle to terminal a , and then another shuttle to enterprise ... bit of a 30 min detour from terminals c or d
My wife and I have been renting cars for a few years when we visit family. We always go with enterprise because typically the experience is smooth and seamless. This particular location though went above and beyond. We landed in LaGuardia and the driver of the shuttle was amazing. He was so friendly and helpful. He put our 2 bags and two car seats in the shuttle himself as he told us to just take a break and sit down. The location is off site I assume but only a few minutes away. We couldn’t get the headrests to move easily for our car seats in the minivan and they offered another make/model minivan but we figured it out, just helpful all in all. Returning the van we arrived and they weren’t insanely busy but I asked where the shuttle picks us up and he said “I’ll just have someone bring you to the airport so you don’t have to take all this out”. They drove us to the airport and helped he unload our car while I got the car seats out. That’s something they don’t have to do and that was above and beyond. They just set themselves apart. Amazing experience Enterprise.
This location. Waow I have no words to explain how amazing my experience was! The service was out of this world they did everything to make sure my rental that got messed up while booking online went smoothly. The team is patient, knowledgeable and so welcoming. I got my car beautiful and clean with extra Clorox wipes! The return was also hassle free and super easy.Special thank you to the lovely lady out front, I cannot remember her name, but I think it was Cara or Cary? And Ryan who was working with her that night. Both were amazing and problem solving geniuses.I tried to call and confirm her name but the line is an automatic responder!
Whenever Im visiting New York this is my go to rental location. From the courteous shuttle drivers to the rental agents and checkout the customer service is exceptional! This location clearly has great management be side they do an excellent job of accommodating customers without over selling additional services. Plus there is always a massive fleet of cars on site.As a New Yorker this is so important because the media often portrays us as rude. Its refreshing to know that tourists from across the globe that travel to LGA to this location are truly getting a hospitable welcome to NYC! #ThankYou
I thought I was at national. Ms. Kim is an excellent employee. Shes helpful and a people person. If youre not sure of what type of vehicle you like she takes the time to ask you if youll require trunk space, what do you drive at home, will have additional passengers and would you like to sit high or low. This helps to get the right vehicle for your specific needs when renting.. I think that she is very personable and wants you to be a satisfied customer... The qualities she has is rare but I truly appreciate it... Service with a smile is what I am reminded of... Kim is awesome!
I reserved a Cadillac STS or similar and was offered this BMW 430 I. The ride was fantastic and the car was all luxury. When we arrived in NY, the trip to the Enterprise took a bit, due to construction around the airport, but the service at Enterprise was immediate. I was checked in and delivered my rental within minutes of arriving at Enterprise. I would strongly recommend Enterprise to anyone needing to rent a car, suv or any type of vehicle. The service and courtesy extended by every Enterprise location I have been to, has been stellar. Thanks!
The reps at this location were absolutely wonderful!!! They made sure I had beautiful car for touring NYC, took the time to show me all of the functionalities (and hooked up the Bluetooth) before I left the lot. I am forever grateful and will always use this location/company whenever I need a rental car.
I cannot use Enterprise anymore because my address is not in their system .. whatever that means. And its extra lovely when youre asked over 5 times if there is a possibility that I may have another address. Just think that question through. To solve the problem, they then ask me to try a different credit card. Again, think that through please. How will another credit card, in my name, billed to the same billing address solve the issue. All I can say is .. thank goodness for the Ubers and Lyfts out there working on Mothers Day.
Its unfortunate that the location is so bad but given all of the rental car companies at LGA require 2 shuttles for the next 7 years, theirs is really no different. Anyway, every single person Ive dealt with here has been exceptionally friendly and helpful (including the shuttle drivers). Its always fast, the cars are always clean and just about every time Im here I get a free upgrade. Ive tried Avis at LGA twice and had bad experiences both times, will never rent from anyone but Enterprise at LGA.
The quick check in kiosks don’t work too well, and they initially tried to upsell us a luxury car because of car shortage (holiday weekend). However, our attendant was pleasant and got another car cleaned up and ready as quickly as he could. Returning was an easy process.
No shuttle. Call the desk and received wrong information. Confused and Rude employees. Poor communication and full of ridden fees. Do yourself a favor and rent for a better company. You may pay a bit more, but you will not regret. Enterprise used to be a good company. But the LGA location is a dump, disorganized, poorly staffed, and sadly managed.
Flew into NY recently and was expecting to have to deal with all sorts of issues and time consuming delays at the LGA Airport and the Enterprise at LGA as it in itself are both busy divisions for NYC/NJ travelers. To my surprise and delight. Both the LGA Airport and the Enterprise at LGA were amazing. Flew in late at night right before they were closing and Jessica assisted me at the location with swift and quick access to my vehicle selection after the proper paperwork and signatures were given and completed. Truly happy with the customer service and my vehicle was so durable and economic for road travels. Thanks Jessica at the Enterprise LGA and Enterprise truly happy about the days I rented from you.
We rented a Toyota Camry at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car facility at LaGuardia airport in Queens, NY.The car was in excellent condition and performed beautifully. We were assisted in our return by a gentlemen named Enrique. Enrique was friendly, attentive and professional. He also assisted us with our return to the airport and went above and beyond duty in that effort. He is a fine man and a true asset to Enterprise. We were also assisted by a gentleman named Dre. Dre also went above and beyond in helping us in our return-he also is a real asset for Enterprise. These two gentlemen made our experience special and memorable. We will certainly rent from Enterprise again. Thanks.
My experience was great at this location. Mostly because of the gentleman that assisted me. I wish I could remember his name but he was really nice and looked out for me. Even though the wait was kind of long because he was working ALONE he still managed to take care of everyone all on his own. I gave this location 5 stars because of him and would come back and let him help me again.
Absolutely horrible experience. A few days before our arrival at Laguardia Airport, we received an email that literally read skip the counter, go straight to the lot. When we arrived, we were told that email didnt matter and we had to wait in a long line OUTSIDE (it was 36°) and had to go to the counter. We had to wait about 40 minutes. The staff just didnt seem like they were in any rush to help the long line of customers freezing outside. We have rented from this location many times before (when it was a stand-alone lot) and never had a problem.
Surprised that this location is rated so highly. The ratings others gave this location compared to my personal experience is like night and day. We waited over an hour for a vehicle even though the representative on the phone made a reservation for us. They did not make it easy at all. I could be wrong but it did not seem busy (two people ahead of us), so unsure what we were waiting around over an hour for.
A great experience! Ive never been disappointed by this place.Process was quick and easy. Adhered to social distancing which during these times is a plus for me. The vehicle was clean inside and out as well as in good condition. My wait time was 5 minutes tops. Including wait time I was in and out within 7 minutes.Returning the car was even easier. All done within 3 minutes (which included me checking to be sure I didnt forget anything).
I was given a car from this location that had expired tags, passed due on an oil change, 3 low tires, and on top of everything my rental agreement was mistakenly closed 5 days into my rental and I was charged like I had retuned the car. The only problem was that I never returned it and was still driving the car. I got a call the day before Christmas asking if I still had the car, what a mess. The managers at this location barely did the bare minimum in helping me resolve this issue. Unfortunately because they refused to do their job, I had to do it for them. After 20 + calls , 2 emails with no responses, 2 calls to road side assistance, and 17 days dealing with this issue they thought the small refund they gave me was enough. They proceeded to close my claim for a call back and said they were unwilling to do anything more.I was finally able to get the refund I deserved today with the help of a kind woman in escalations who saw all that I had been through and thought the managers response wasnt appropriate. I had to sacrifice my Christmas holiday dealing with this company. Its sad to think that I wouldnt have had to deal with all of this if they wouldve just given me a car prepared to be on the road but I guess thats too much to ask.
Have been a huge fan of Enterprise for years even have my employees read the book that was written about their customer service. Rented a 12 person van for our family of 7. After arriving at the LaGuardia enterprise location we waited 40 minutes for van to get cleaned and eventually squeezed in a mini van so we could leave. Not a great start. After dropping off car on Sunday the shuttle driver dropped us off on a street and pointed behind him and said airport. We got off shuttle and started walking down road until someone stopped us and said we needed to catch another bus. After many years of great service from Enterprise my last two trips have been terrible. I even wrote to customer service and no one replied. It’s a shame this was a great company.......I am done
Trying to return my rental car at LaGuardia airport was a disaster. I could not find one rental car return sign that directed to Enterprise return. I was given no return instructions at counter. The email they sent with an address does not come up as valid on my GPS. When I called customer service, I was given a generic response, “drive to airport and follow the signs” after driving around aimlessly I spotted a location that said national/budget. I pulled in there. The added time trying to find and taking two bus rides to get to terminal resulted in me missing a flight time.
Had to take two shuttles to the rental office. I had a reservation that had two car seats for small children. After waiting in line for 30 mins, the sales agent brought me a car with no car seats. I told him I had paid for two, he brought me to some dirty, stained outside supply closet. Inside the closest, were 4 or 5 dirty used infant car seats. He said, “pick two”. I had no choice but to pick two filthy, stained infant car seats. The salesman told me to put it in myself. Horrific customer service. I want my money back for those two car seats.
I needed to go from Florida to NY to see my back surgeon. Since I was traveling in the winter I asked for and rented the Jeep Compass. The whole process was seamless. When I arrived at the Enterprise counter, Ms. Melissa greeted me and guided me to my vehicle while processing the rental. She did not leave my side until she insured that the vehicle started and that I was comfortable with everything. I was pleasantly surprised with her enthusiasm and determination to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with the entire process and comfortable in the vehicle. She also gave me her card in case anything went wrong. With employees like Melissa, I will definitely choose Enterprise again! Great Job Melissa!
First-time renter with Enterprise, and I was pleasantly surprised by their professionalism at the LaGuardia Airport location. Picking up the vehicle was simple and straightforward, and they agent brought the car around to us--it was a 2020 White Hyundai Elantra with about 2200 miles on it. The brake and gas pedals were very sensitive, as well as the steering wheel. It was a great ride! Upon return, the staff at the LaGuardia Airport Enterprise Rent-A-Car location were just as professional. They looked over the vehicle, checked for the gas we added, the mileage, any visible damage, and asked me if I had any problems with the car, to which I stated no. The car was perfect! So Id definitely look into renting that type of vehicle, as well as heading to Enterprise, again in the near future.
While they were able to accommodate the extension on my rental car, it was impossible to contact someone at the LGA location specifically about the changes. The other Enterprise locations, where I was going to drop off the car, warned me how LGA specifically has a history of scamming people out of money. Not very settling. It has now been two weeks since I returned the car. They quoted me one amount and then charged $200 more. I have tried emailing a total of 9 people that work at Enterprise. They are copied on each email. None of the 9 employees have been able to respond in two weeks. How is this possible? Horrible customer service... Very disappointing.
This was the fastest that I’ve gotten a car but each time I rent a car with them it’s always easy with no problem at all. Plus the lady that checked me in gave me an upgrade. I can honestly say whenever I come to NY this is where I rent a car and they never disappoint.😊
TL;DR - The only saving grace was the woman working the desk all by herself. She was doing her best and had a great attitude, even though the situation Enterprise had put her in was impossible. 5-stars for her, 0-for Enterprise overall.-- -- --Details:I needed a rental car last Friday, and when I arrived in Manhattan at the location Id reserved a car (through a different company), they said they had no cars and a wait would be up to several hours. That didnt work for me as I was in a rush, so I went back online (Kayak), avoided the other company and decided to head to the airport.I made a reservation with Enterprise (they showed multiple car rental options available at LGA), and as I was now traveling more than 30 mins away to go get the car I needed in a rush, I also called the Customer Service line as I was in route. I explained the bust with the previous company and I wanted to ensure that when I arrived at Enterprise at LaGuardia that they would actually have cars and could fulfill my reservation. I was assured they multiple cars were available, including the type of car I had reserved.Arriving at Enterprise at LGA (off-airport lot), there was a decent line that seemed to be moving at a glacial pace of about one customer per 10 mins. It took about 30 minutes to get to the front (with someone at the desk only about half of the time) and the woman informed me that there were actually no cars available, and it would be a wait of up to several hours. When I pushed, she said the only car they had at the lot was a giant pickup truck, which I opted for as I was now quite behind. The Enterprise employee handled the situation with the relevant grace under fire, and I felt bad that she was telling a now growing line of 15+ people that there were no cars and the wait could be hours.NOT exactly an ideal customer service experience. Maybe Enterprise shouldnt show cars as available to rent if they dont have them, and the situation was especially frustrating as Id called the Customer Service line in advance and was assured that I would not run into this situation. Props to the woman for doing the best she could, but Enterprise could have done a lot better here.
Upon arrival, the folks at Enterprise LGA did a great job of getting me in my car and on my way quickly. We had a little bit of trouble finding the place to return the vehicle, as the rental car return signage at the airport is pretty awful. But once we found it, we were able to return the car just as fast and get back to our terminal in plenty of time to catch our flight.
I travel a lot for work, and when I rent cars, I usually mix it up and just go with whichever has the best deal that day... Except when I fly into LaGuardia - Enterprise is the only one I even consider. Its clear that theyve developed a culture where treating customers great is something theyre proud of and work hard at. I had a tricky problem today with my credit card, and they were not only extremely patient, but they went out of their way to help me get everything sorted out. The best part is that Ive experienced this level of service every time Ive gone there even though Ive met a different employee each time. Those five stars dont mean nothing went wrong, they mean that this particular location is truly excellent and a better experience than most car rental places.
I rarely leave reviews or feedback but this time i must. I had the absolute best experience. The van driver (Marilyn) was so incredibly nice to and from airport. The agent at the desk was fast, not pushy at all and very helpful, and the car was perfect for our needs. Returning was a breeze and again everything was like clockwork. Without hesitation I say this was my over all best experience renting a car. Well done.
The car we got was a minivan. It was very nice and fitted my party. Drove well. The pickup from airport was not convenient. We had to walk in rain and freezing cold weather to a shuttle. Then walk another small distance to enterprise. Once we were there we did not have to wait. Price was not a good value. By the time you add tax, ins. And 2nd driver .Drop off at different location, was a extra fee.. There was unlimited mileage. Next time will shop around more and find were pick up is. Sales person was very helpful and nice. Review from Louisiana
I had reserved a full size pick up for a move and when I arrived at LGA, they did not have one. They gave me a Suburban at the same price that did the job but with more trips involved and more difficulty. I credit them for honoring the price but the manager said they over book certain kinds of vehicles and thats not cool when you need something specific.
Well maintained cars. Paperwork was slow as they dont seem to have a line for customers with everything done.I gave them a second try. Line was even slower. Manager was apologetic and acknowledged they were understaffed. They should know from reservations and historical data how many people they need. Not sure it I will rent from Enterprise again.
Have had very good experience with this company. Unfortunately most recent car had scent of cigarette smoke and the check engine light went on about 5 miles out of rental agency. Discussed with returning representative who is very apologetic and provided significant discount on the bill. These “speed bumps“ will rarely occur but were magnanimously handled this shows the excellent quality of Training of enterprise staff. Will definitely rent with them again.
I had an A+ experience with this enterprise. The staff were truly genuine, accommodating, and helpful. When I returned the car I was running late for my flight and left a bag in the rental, the staff went out of their way to bring my bag to me at the bus drop off so I didn’t have to go back. They were extremely efficient and even upgraded my vehicle to a 2020 for no reason. I would highly recommend this business, thank you to all.
Worst expirience EVER!I`m a tourist and I was planning my trip for a long time. I need to notice that I have travelled in the USA for many times and often used your service for renting cars. This time I was strongly disappointed. I booked Full-size SUV for two weeks with all additional options (full coverage insurance, navigation, Eazy-pass, Sirius-XM, Roadside Assistance and etc...). It would be a good deal for your company in this strange time! But something went wrong...I booked a car for my trip while I was in my native country, so 12.30.2020 I just came to your office 9501 Ditmars Blvd, Queens, NY 11369 with confirmation number, with my driving license, with two kids and all the luggage. I was met with UNFRIENDLY STAFF who refused to provide me a car due to my driving license not American. I need to highlight that my license has a correct translation of my first and last name along with other details on English. Also I was ready to provide all additional documents like my passport, credit and debits cards to confirm my identity. Unfortunately, your employee rejected all my attempts to solve this issue and refuse me. I was shocked, because I have rented cars many times using this license in Europe, Asia, Midle East and many-many times in USA in diferent states in last 10 years . After reservation in your company nobody sent me any information about possible restrictions for foreign tourists. I had to spend many hours trying to solve that issue, with kids, in crowded airport during the pandemic only because of the low qualification of your staff. I will give feedback about your service on Yelp, and other popular sources to protect other people from such unpleasant experience. I hope it will help other clients to avoid same problems which can spoil the trip in a moment.
The customer service was great! The employees did a great job at letting you know what to expect in the beginning. There were additional charges that I didnt take into account, however, after returning the vehicle. I recommend that the employees remind people of any additional charges that may come up after returning the vehicle and incorporating it into the final receipt (ex. toll passes not being included in final receipt).
Enterprise remains as one of my favorite rental car companies in NYC. The customer service we continuously experience is wonderful. It was so pleasant to be greeted at the door and directed to the line to see a representative to rent our car. The wait time was short and they gave us water, which was a nice treat. We were asked at multiple points if we were okay with the car and if we were satisfied with the service. Its good to see the checks and balances in progress because it shows that their team is working together to make the entire experience pleasant for the customers. We felt valued and we will return again! We check prices on Kayak, but we rent directly from Enterprise so theres no confusion on our reservation. Also, Enterprise almost always has the lowest prices and the best deals.
Mara was very helpful. Picking up a car was seamless.Update: The day after I returned the rental, I realized that I left something very important in the car that I needed for work. I drove back to Enterprise at 10pm. The Enterprise employee I encountered (I did not get his name) was amazingly patient and helpful. He was able to track down the car and contacted the person who had it. That person was nice enough to agree to give me the address where he was located so that I could pick up the item.
A friend and I needed to trek down south with no car in hand, and other transportation options were extremely limited so we gave enterprise a try. With the whole pandemic happening, we were redirected to another location, which was already a hassle. Upon obtaining the car, we were bombarded with a rude awakening of add ons and security deposits that were a bit too much in our liking. Sadly, this is what the company would do to you as you are in the middle of no where, and you couldn’t say no to the car you already paid a decent price for. The wait was long, but finally we got the car which was well maintained, at least. Choose your options wisely, as unused services are difficult to impossible to refund. This will be the first and last rental experience.
This was the best car renting experience Ive ever had, and Ive rented quite a bit in the past! Check out was super quick and employees were very helpful. They didnt have any standard cars, so they automatically upgraded me to premium. They didnt force me to try to buy insurance or upgrade anything, just merely asked about it. Within 5 minutes of arriving, I had a car ready to go. I asked a different employee a bit later if I could change the car to another model, and without any hesitation or complaints, she was able to change it for me. Even the guy at the exit who checks your paperwork was super nice and friendly, where as at other places is usually bored and angry. Even the return was super easy. I just pulled in, they scanned a few things, made a note of the gas and milage, and gave me a receipt within 3 minutes. I also like the fact that every employee was dressed professionally, and had a very friendly and positive attitude. This place is a prime example of how a car rental service should be. I for one will not only rent from them again, but will only be renting from this particular location whenever I need a car in NY.
The woman on the phone was very friendly and especially helpful. She even helped us get a student discount to get back home from NY. When picking up our car the rest of the staff was just as friendly, even considering the current stress and busyness in result of the virus. They made our car rental a low stress and easy experience, especially in contrast to our terrible experience with Hertz just a few hours prior who’s staff was blatantly rude and unhelpful.
Somehow they found a way to removed my review. Although it was months ago, I want to share again my experience with Enterprise to make sure nobody fall for their bitter treat:“From a HORRIBLE personal experience, I feel disgust having to give at least one star for this location. Let me tell you my story.I did not personally rent a car from here, but this was the return location I had been told by a customer representative from Enterprise. The night before I had to return my rental car, I specifically asked the representative how to return a car during the closed hours since Ive never done it before, and my flight is at 6am. This person told me to simply safely parked the car, then drop off the car key in the after-hour drop off key box by the return location. The early morning of my flight, I arrived at this location. I parked the car, then walked all around the building twice and could not find a drop off box. I tried to contact the company but they were unavailable due of the office hours. I did not know what better to do, so I decided to keep the car key with me and will try to contact the company later on.As soon as my flight arrived, the first thing I did was to call this location explained my situation to see if they have any of my information to return the car or any suggestion to help. I spoke to TIM, and I feel like I need publicly say this that this TIM person was the most irresponsible person Ive ever spoke to. He was not willing to help, or given any direction to solve the problem. Completely rejected. All he said was I am responsible for the car until when its returned, then hung up on me.I got off the phone with him, tried to contact the Enterprise customer service. The story with this company can go on and on, which will take another whole year. A few hours later, I decided to try this location again hoping to speak to someone else that can help. A person name MICHELLE picked up the phone. I explained the situation to her (again), I even mentioned how I spoke with TIM earlier and he was a no help. MICHELLE at first showed me that she cared and listened to me as Im trying to clear out the circumstance, THEN she putted me on hold said that shell be back, BUT she reconnected me right back to TIM. Thanks, MICHELLE!All Im saying is, my story can go ridiculously long, but all that aside, be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when renting a car from Enterprise and especially this location. I hope nobody will be in the same situation as I did, because things can go fine but when you need some help or some advice from them, no matter how hard you try, I wish you best luck learning your lesson, as I did learn mine”.
Always competitive rates but really nice cars and quality of service make the difference for me. The folks at Enterprise really do operate like family business owners, always genuinely concerned how your experience with the rental was and going out of their way to make what accommodations they can to make sure youre really happy. We got dinged by another car in parking lot and the team made it as convenient as you could imagine to work w/ our insurance to take care of it; another time we had a slow tire leak on a 4 day trip, not a big deal but they cancelled our gas charges and were more than generous. We dont keep a car in NYC because its so expensive and Enterprise is a super convenient solution for all driving we do 24 hours or longer, including our annual 5-week summer vacation rental. Thanks Enterprise!
I had a family discount on my rental car reservation. I had the confirmation confirming my pick up and drop off at the LGA Enterprise location with the confirmed discounted price. I arrived and the branch refused to honor my discount. Literally would not honor my reservation. I tried the manager who also refused to honor my reservation. They forced me to make a new reservation online via my phone because otherwise I wouldnt get a rental car. Had I know my reservation at my discounted price would not have been honored, I never would have made this reservation at the LGA location--I would have made my reservation at a different location that would honor my confirmed discount. It was completely unethical and Ive never ever had an experience like this before. Other Enterprise employees I spoke to via customer service confirmed that it sounded like this branch basically hustled me and ripped me off and that they should have honored my discount and reservation. Ive lodged a complaint with Enterprise and I have not yet heard from anyone who has the authority to address this. Everyone Ive spoken to says there is nothing they can do because the branch itself / brand manager has to agree to issue the refund, which makes no sense considering my complaint is against this branch and its manager. Even if it is true that this branch doesnt honor family discounts, the correct approach would have been I dont know why the central reservations was able to make you this reservation with the family discount considering we do not honor family discounts. Since you have the confirmed reservation though, I will honor it this time. A lack of communication between central reservations and the individual branches is a company issue of which I should not have to bear the financial burden. Ive lodged a complaint with BBB. I have never had a business refuse to honor a confirmed reservation (a confirmed reservation I still have email proof of!).
I have been renting cars since my junior year in college, 1967-68. I started renting from Enterprise exclusively about three years ago, having previously been a loyal Hertz renter for decades. I found the service with Enterprise superior. But that apparently has changed. My recent rental from the LaGuardia location was my worst rental experience of my life. The people at LaGuardia were fine, both at the start of the rental and the end of the rental, although there was no one occupying the return office when we arrived, which resulted in a ten to fifteen minute delay until one of the men working the cars in the lot offered to help us.The real problems occurred in East Hampton where we were visiting friends. The Laurel and Hardy/Abbott and Costello performance by Enterprise over a three plus hour period of time when we were trying to address a problem with a tire was beyond absurd. The person who finally came on the line from the Enterprise Road Hazard office was decidedly unhelpful, refusing to tell me where the closest Enterprise location could be found and ultimately, after perhaps 10 minutes of me asking for this information while on a very busy street suggested that I should Google Enterprise to find it rather than her giving me the information. Finally she did and we drove 15 minutes to the location which was closed, available only by appointment. I called the number that was supposed to allow me to arrange for help, someone to come, but after three tries, letting the phone ring 20-30 times, no one answered. We continued to try to find a location that could help but to no avail. One representative suggested that I drive the car back to LaGuardia, a 2.3 hour drive each way, to swap cars.So we took the car to a repair shop to have the tire fixed. If none of this had occurred I would not have made the fact that our car smelled overwhelmingly of smoke everytime we entered the car. We would have to air it out by driving it with all the windows open to be able to drive it, and even then it was very present. As I am allergic to cigarette smoke this was not a desired part of our car rental experience. I thought that no one is allowed to smoke in Enterprise cars.Yes, in a lifetime of pleasant rental experiences this was not just a bad experience in comparison, it was completely unacceptable, most particularly because of the attitude of the first person who I reached for assistance who capped off my call by sarcastically wishing me a happy day then hung up on me having wasted my time during the call and then sent me on a wild goose chase.Did I mention that it took me more than 25 minutes to reach this person, having been placed on hold twice and then disconnected before she came on the line?I would appreciate hearing from someone regarding this. We did not receive the benefit of our bargain with this rental, not even close. We will see if Enterprise cares enough to follow up.Mike
Rented a car from Enterprise when mine was in the shop. The wait was a little long since we went in the mid-afternoon. The staff were friendly enough although they didnt have the sedan we originally wanted and tried to push a car we didnt want. We ended up with a decent rental that wasnt a sedan but worked for the week after a bit of going back and forth with them.Pro-tip: dont forget to document/take pictures of any damages on the car you rent just in case they want to say anything when you return it.
At the check-in counter my rental reservation was processed quickly and courteously. I was then escorted to the parking lot by a friendly and helpful man, who answered all my questions about the location of the vehicles controls (trunk button, gas tank cap release, etc.). He gave me a free car upgrade from full size to premium full size, also loaded my suitcases into the trunk. I was on my way within 10 minutes and enjoyed the Buick Lacrosses great, solid ride and smooth operation. Enterprise has always provided me with excellent service, and this time was no exception. I recommend them very highly.
This location was awesome! We were running late for our flight out of La Guardia (bet you can guess why) and they personally drove us into the terminal in a hurry. First-rate service and great communication during the whole experience. Enterprise is my first choice when renting a car from now on!
A remarkably good experience. All personnel were very friendly and helpful. They seemed to genuinely care about the customers experience. Gave you a choice of cars in your category and ensured it was clean. return was equally hassle free, with assistance whenever needed. Probably the best service Ive received renting a vehicle in several years.
Five stars and that is low for them. OH MY GOSH...I used Enterprise for decades, but had left because of several really bad experiences in a row. Forget it- I am back. I went to the Enterprise at 23rd near LaGuardia airport. The lady that met me at the gate when I first picked up car was so helpful and friendly and I was very impressed. When I returned the car the young man that checked my car in was so concerned about me making my flight and if I was satisfied with the car. SUPER AWESOME! Then he went way beyond his call of duty and got me help to get to my flight on time. Even the man that cleans the car looked to make sure I had not left anything in the car. The lady that the check in attendant called took over from there and was an absolute angel sent from car rental heaven. She not only made me laugh and changed my tense mood, but also helped me get to my flight. I never met these people before, am not related to them or anything, but Enterprise needs to clone these employees and put them in every enterprise across the country. Please have them train other employees or something. I will try to find some of the name cards they gave me to post their names, but in the meantime I am back because of them. PLEASE PLEASE GIVE THEM A RAISE!
I had a pleasant experience with this location from start to finish. The shuttle driver was very friendly, helpful and personable. She helped every passenger get on the bus and even offered to load everyones luggage. She offered helpful tips for getting around town as well as information pertaining to the return of the rental. The agents were just as friendly and eager to help and be of assistance in any way that they could. It was a great experience all around.
I came to pick up a rental on 02/25/21 from this location and met with the most non customer service friendly rep Ive ever ran into at Enterprise. Ive been renting for Enterprise for YEARS! Multiple times a year and never had an issue like this.Upon arrival, the clerk at the front desk (a tall, medium built dark skinned man) greeted me. He asked for my Drivers License and Credit Card like all ERACs do, and then asked for my GEICO Employee ID card. I provided all requested information. This man wouldnt take my GEICO Employee Badge because it didnt say GEICO on it. I DO NOT CONTROL WHAT THE COMPANY PUT ON THE BADGE. The ID has my photo, my GEICO work location AND my Employee ID number on it. This is the same badge that Ive had for the last 6 years of working with GEICO, and again Ive been renting with ERAC for years using the same badge. This man saws I have to produce something that says GEICO on it or else he will take my discount away. He asked if I had a company email, to which I replied yes. He asked if I could show him it, which I did, I showed him an email that I had sent to myself from my job email, which included my signature, name, address, telephone, business hours, title and position. Then he said it wasnt enough proof and that I had to log in to my company email from my personal phone. I advised him that GEICO employees do not have the capability to log in to corporate emails from their personal phone. He stated he was going to remove the discount AND this was said with a lackadaisical tone, facial expression, and shoulder shrug, like too bad, what are you going to do. Disrespect. Utter Disrespect and lack of customer service.I have to say I lost my temper and began to raise my voice, which is completely out of character for me. 11 years of being in the military, usually Im better at keeping calm. But! This time I needed this car, not for a fun vacation or for business, but for my little brothers memorial ceremony and YOUR EMPLOYEE WAS NONCHALANTLY JEOPARDIZING MY ABILITY TO ATTEND!Finally a manager (caucasian male) came from the back after 15 mins of thunderous confrontation and requests all of the information I just provided the last guy, clicks 2 buttons in the system and Im out of the with a car. FINALLY.This employee made a bad worse and he is a terrible representative for a company that is supposedly customer driven, even more so with a GEICO employee, with whom you do A LOT of business with.Terrible. I am extremely upset.
Picking up car: Awesome, Swift and pleasant staff. Dominique, you are Great! Thank you for your help! When Dropping car off: Staff is wonderful and process is speedy. As concern to the general public: This specific location has a shuttle that, at first glance, would seem to take you to your desired destination...the drop off zone at the airport. CORRECTION, the shuttle drops you at the airport transit which makes additional stops for airport campus employees.Take Away Lesson: leave yourself an hour in addition to the requested two hours for a total of, yes, 3 hours for the margin of error.OrSimply UberMissed my flight and delayed 6 hours. Just a review.
The staff was friendly and courteous and the rental was a very good quality vehicle. For that, I was satisfied overall. However, they didnt have the vehicle size that I preordered, so I was offered a free upgrade to something that used more gas and smelled like cigarettes inside. That was disappointing.
The staff at LGA Enterprise Car Rental were quite courteous and friendly. My experience was pleasant. I was in and out with my rental in a flash. After I picked up my rental I needed to extend and it was easy. The car was clean and worked great. I can hardly wait to pick up my next Enterprise car rental.
This place was amazing, especially considering the usual experience Ive come to expect from car rentals. Every single employee was really friendly and had a smile on their face, service was extremely fast and efficient, and the price was not only way lower than any of the alternatives (Alamo, Avis, etc), but even somehow ended up lower than what it said online! I doubt Ill be going to any other car rental company any time soon.
I hate renting cars. Agents are usually undertrained and overworked. In my past experience with Enterprise, they werent any different, but this was really a pleasure. I had three customer service agents, at pickup, at the gate, and at return. All three were confident, knowledgeable, and genuine. It was so unusual... And I do some work training people in communication skills, so I had to ask the last agent why things worked so well at this location. She said they have a very good team of mangers who train thoroughly and are focused on helping each employee advance their own careers. The three women I interacted with were of different ages and ethnicities, but all of them seemed to feel completely empowered to do their jobs. Everything was explained to me, they gave me choices, no pressure... The SUV I rented was clean and drove beautifully. I just cant say enough about how enjoyable and stress-free this was.
Excellent experience. Staff was attentive, courteous, and got me on my way without a hitch. Car was perfect. They even gave me some water for the road. Return was quick and easy and they even called me a cab.My only possible critique would be that since the very serious fencing turns it into a little compound and your taxi cant drop you off out front because of the no pedestrian signs, the entry sign should say car return/passenger drop off or something along those lines. My driver wasnt sure where he was supposed to enter since he wasnt a returning car.
Not helpful. At all. I had a car rental made through my time share. I get to the airport to pick my rental only to find out that they only do credit card rentals, not debit card. I explain that I only have a debit card. I was given a pamphlet with several other enterprise locations on it that do accept debit cards and was told I could probably transfer my reservation. I called around, but none of the other locations had what I needed, except one, but the price was so exorbitant that I had to turn it down. 2500.00 for a van rental? No. I again spoke with the manager and she said there was nothing she could do. Very poor customer service. The manager never offered to transfer our reservation for me, or have the manager from the entetptise down the block, that does accept debit cards, pick up the van and rent it to me. She never tried to help us find a solution. No universal rental policy.
Always get enterprise rentals not anymore my flight was delayed to LGA airport and i was waiting for an enterprise shuttle none to be found i was outside at 10:11pm other locations in other cities and states will wait not this one. I even put my flight info in the booking, luckily Budget was still running shuttles i was able to get a rental with them
Excellent service and very smooth pickup and return process.Dougie Fresh helped me out when I got there, but the whole staff was welcoming, friendly and efficient.Happy to note they were also very baby friendly, and we ended up stopping there for a while changing and feeding our daughter before we left with our rental.Drop off was also smooth sailing, and the fellows there helped me move the excess amount of bags I was taking with me. Recommend it highly.
Enterprise is quickly becoming my go to car rental company. Customer service is always A+ (at the LaGuardia location) and the car selection is premium. As long as they’re pricing continues to be competitive and affordable I won’t rent from anyone else. Points are nice too when you have enough to pay for extra days.
Pick up was not ideal, after waiting 40 mins in line, I was told that my car would be ready in 10 mins, almost an hour after requested pick up time. The car was pointed out to me, but no one took me to the car. I walked over, but couldnt find the keys or how to open the trunk. I had to walk back to speak with someone, but got yelled at by other customers that I was cutting the line. It turns out that the key was placed in a spot that was difficult to find and not as instructed by staff. Found candy in car from previous renter, a sign that it was not cleaned properly.During the rental all was great and the return was even better, great service at return.
This location was insanely busy when I arrived and even more crazy when I dropped the vehicle off a week later; however, that did not stop the staff from providing incredible service. The woman behind the counter was very helpful; she made sure everyone was able to use the kiosk to print their reservation. Once the reservations were printed, she did a great job of keeping us informed of where we were in the queue. I waited for a maximum of 10 minutes total, but never once felt frustrated because she communicated so well. I was very pleased with my vehicle throughout the week. When I dropped my vehicle off, the line of cars was so long that I couldnt even drive onto the facility. A clerk walked up to me in less than a minute and checked the vehicle in anyway. I didnt have to wait more than 2 minutes for a shuttle to and from the airport either. This staff knows the necessity of being quick and convenient and I am so appreciative of how relaxed and easy my experience was even though their jobs are chaotic. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
The staff at this Enterprise location are excellent, friendly and nice. In complete contrast to the Dollar rental around the corner, which you should avoid - its beyond bad.Shuttle was very fast both ways, I was handled quickly and efficiently, the car was checked for damage before I drove off and the process was great overall.Enterprise lose only one star for the car - it stunk of smoke. Nothing worse than a stinky rental but the car was clean.I will absolutely be back to rent again.
Our rental experience was great. The Suburban was perfect for what we needed it for. The price was acceptable. Customer Service was very friendly. The transfer from LaGuardia was a bit detailed, but it’s not Enterprise’s fault that the airport is under construction. We boarded a city bus and rode about 5 minutes, then transferred to an Enterprise shuttle bus immediately to the rental office, another 5 minutes. But they had our car ready and we got on the road within 30 minutes. Overall, it was a good experience.
We were in and out of the LaGuardia Enterprise effortlessly and in no time at all. We were given our choice of three different full sized vehicles and enjoyed one that was nearly brand new. We also appreciated the agency lending us a gps holder for the duration of our trip. A very friendly and courteous staff.
Picked up a rental on Friday for a business trip. It was covered in rain water and parked near a pillar so inspecting the car for any minor dents or scratches was impossible. However, I did notice a issue during the inspection of this small area and the attendant said not to worry it’s ‘New York’ things happen.Sure enough when I return the suv the next day to NJ I get called out on a small dent/scratch in the rear quarter panel.I would advise anyone to avoid renting a car from this location at LGAContact me to resolve this issue and get your 5 star review
The service at this enterprise is the best Ive ever received! Every time I go there, everyone is extremely nice and professional and the paperwork takes less than 5 min. The enterprise employee takes you to your car (and lets you choose within your category!) and signs you in with their tablet so that you can finalize the paperwork and be on your way out. Ive rented there 4 times already and I do not intend to change rental locations since they have treated me so well every time.
Great customer service when I picked up my rental and drop off. However, it would be nice if the shuttle bus (blue route one) dropped us off in front of our airline and Not further down in front of another one. We had a long way to walk to check in as we were almost late for our flight!
Rented at LaGuardia airport (LGA), although airport constuction is still underway, signage and shuttle to/from all car rental lots works very well. Once at Enterprise station, everyone was very personable, prompt and customer service friendly. Our car was ready, clean and great. I do recommend and I will reserve with them again...Thanks Enterprise team!
The staff at LaGuardia pick-up was friendly and very informative. However, I realized that there was a large charge for returning it to a different location. My cousin rented from budget and for the same locations, same car he paid over $150 difference, I paid 285 and he paid 119. I asked at the counter in McMurray about why the difference was so much and he could care less. Although the car was great and the NY service I would definitely think twice before I rent from Enterprise again.
Made a reservation online the night before. Our baggage claim caused us to be a little late, which was not an issue at all. They seem to always have a shuttle on rotation at the airport waiting, which was really nice since it was so cold. We were EXTREMELY pleased with this location. I have never had a car rental go so smoothly. Jeanna was super helpful and got us in and out and on the road in less than 20 minutes.
Usually when I have to travel to NYC for business I typically use mass transit or a ride sharing service to get around, however this trip I needed to rent a car as I would be traveling to areas where there was no mass transit. My goto car rental is usually National for the grab and go option, but Enterprise was a much lower rate for the same sized vehicle. Since they are one in the same parent company I earn points just the same. Was quite happy with the service I received from the desk agent (I think her name was Nicole) and Mike the station manager who showed me to my car. Quite different from National process, but nice just the same. The return process was just as nice and Shan took care of everything including having the shuttle driver drop me off at my hotel at the nearby Aloft LGA (great hotel by the way!).A very nice surprise for this trip to NY.
Although we had reserved with Enterprise, by the time we arrived at the car rental area, they were closed. National was able to retrieve our reservation and we didnt get charged extra. That was neat and great customer service. We got a Dodge Caravan and it was awesome. We decided our next family vehicle will be something similar to it. Thanks again for a smooth transaction. The only downside was that I didnt get a notification that Enterprise is closed after midnight. If there was a statement on the reservation confirmation I printed from their website, then it wasnt big enough for me to read. Also, I requested a car seat for my 3 yr old and I was given a booster seat. Options could be clarified on the webpage when making a reservation and respected when picking up the vehicle. Gladly, there was one of us, adults, looking after him. Other than this, our experience was so smooth. We will definitely come back if we return to visit NY.
Excellent service by the manager there, Jason (I believe that was his name), as well as all the staff! True professional, and was incredibly nice. They were able to upgrade me to a nicer rental (a class or 2 up) than what I requested. I will most definitely be returning for my next car rental needs.
Polite and professional staff. The vehicles are always clean and run very well. They usually let you choose which vehicle you want from the vehicle class you reserved. The vehicles are always fully loaded and new. The system they have in place makes pick up and drop off very easy and fast. Ive reserved a few times and have never had any issues with them or the rental vehicles.
Don’t return a car using Enterprise (or any company) to La Guardia until their construction mayhem is done. The car was fine but it was near impossible to return. The road signage leads nowhere (literally), and the Enterprise location itself is shut down. This was reflected nowhere in the documentation/confirmation/email for my rental - I didn’t learn this until I finally found the place (at least a half mile from the airport itself) and saw a sign taped to the door saying to go to National instead, a mile away. The National staff was totally professional and efficient. Can’t speak to the Enterprise staff because there weren’t any.If you don’t want to circle La Guardia for an hour to find the darn place only to realize it’s closed and you need to go somewhere else, use a different location.

We got in late and the shuttle was there to take us. The person at the desk was very helpful and got our car within 10 minutes. We were checked out and moving onto our vacation quickly and efficiently. Thank you for making this process at 1:00 am very easy on our family.
They were very friendly, but unprofessional. I am sure they were trying to do their best and it was very late. However, the rep DID NOT make a an adequate review of the car for any scratches or dents. He had the doors opened and said you are ready to roll. Well when we turned the car in there was a dent on the trim of car near rear tire. We NEVER had any accidents or had any incidents. Well NOW enterprise is claiming we are responsible. The return attendant said she saw no notes on any previous damage and that it was our fault. I was furious! That ding could have happened when it was was returned previously and if that first rep did such a poor job on our check out whose to say he does a thorough check in when that vehicle was returned and never noted it!! I will fight them until the end on this. We will not pay or be responsible for that dent. They need to be very thorough each and every time and not leave the customer to do all the checking and inspecting.
As if the two shuttle experience caused by Laguardia airport construction were not enough there was one agent and two broken machines on a Saturday fall morning for an hour long line of clients AND then another 35 minute wait for cars. The employees working all very nice but I missed my appointment and most valuable part of day. Enterprise failed. On the positive, I was offered a discount on return as I was angry to say the least. I appreciate the discount and may try one more time, but two strikes and your out.Cmon folks. You can do better.
The rental experience was fine. Pick up and drop off went without a hitch. Car was great!!!The only problem came with finding the Car Rental Returns At LaGuardia Airport under construction. What a disaster!!!!Also, I had my wife daughter and granddaughter with me with a lot of luggage and a baby car seat. When arriving At LaGuardia we had to take two shuttles to get to the Enterprise Lot. All was good getting to first shuttle. After getting off first shuttle, now without a luggage cart, I had to somehow walk and carry lots of stuff 100 yards to the 2nd Shuttle. It was impossible. Thank God a Shuttle Driver saw my predicament and drove around to pick us up.
Not sure about the one-star reviews here. I recently rented a car from this location and the staff was nothing but courteous and professional. In fact, Id say they were among the nicest staff Ive come across in NYC in recent memory. Maybe they stepped-up their service game recently! I booked ahead of time and when I arrived they checked me in within 20 minutes. The car I rented was almost new, clean, and well-maintained. No issues there. Im docking one star because they do try to up-sell you on upgrades and add-ons at the last minute. I know thats standard practice, but still slightly annoying when you already priced out your rental online and just want to hit the road. Overall, I have a good impression of this location. It will probably be my go-to place if they can keep the service-level where its at now. Five stars if they can make the check-in even smoother, preferably doing everything online.
I have never been disappointed with Enterprise. Best car rental business there is. I have been renting cars from them since 2002 and they are just the best. Best in price, convenience, customer service and location. Anytime I used another car rental business I have had some sort of incidence. Enterprise rates #1 with me.
I thought it would be hectic getting a rental at a new work airport but Enterprise was great. Mike was fast professional and handsome lol. Instead of picking my car for me, they let me picked the car I wanted and the paperwork was done in minutes! Im definitely using them next time. The shuttle was even sufficient.
There are rental agencies and again there is Enterprise. Im renting for over 10 years in NY area and rented from almost all of them, but these guys are just something different. Professional, polite, knowledgeable and with really good prices. They forced me to write review now. Representative Mara vent above and beyond her basic job to explain and help me with this, sometimes very unpleasant, task. Car was clean, almost perfect, she gave me even options for free upgrade and right to choose which one I want to take. Thank you Mara so much. On the exit boot Ms. Alicia was also very nice and helpful. Really guys well done. Thank you all...
The rental experience was seamless and the staff was very nice. I read the reviews before renting so I was expecting terrible service (and low rates, they had the lowest rates when I did my survey) but I was pleasantly surprised. It looks like they finally improved their service. The car was a new Chevy Cruze at $303/week with my credit card insurance (I declined enterprises insurance). I didnt have any problems with the car
This was my first time renting a car and I have to say that everyone at Enterprise made the whole experience easy. From the very beginning the representative really went out of his way to answer all my question and he explained all the options I had for my rental.I will definitely be renting from enterprise again for my convention next year! And I will recommend that my friends and family rent from Enterprise as well.
After landing and waiting over 20 minutes for the enterprise shuttle, I finally made it to their facility. I had a reservation for a full size car since I am very picky about the cars I drive. I was expecting a ford fusion or similar. The only car they had available was a dodge charger. I asked for a complimentary upgrade and was told to look around and see which car I liked. After picking one, I was told it would be 75 more per day, which I declined, and said I would settle for the charger. It turns out within the minute or two it took to be told the upgrade would cost nearly double, someone had booked the charger. Then, my options were an SUV or nissan versa, which were not comparable. I refused to drive either and was stuck upgrading to a mustang GT at $30 more per day which I was not happy about. One day later after unexpected changes to my stay, I wound up being placed in a hotel near time square and no longer needed the rental. I attempted to return the car to a different enterprise where I was told they could not accept it because their lot was full, costing me even more.Out of the past three times Ive rented with enterprise, Ive had two unpleasant experiences. I think its safe to say I will not be returning.
Been here once.Absolutely amazing experience. I rented a car online and when I went to pick it up the workers were extremely friendly. There was a bit of an issue where the first car had a check engine light on, but they gave me a different car to rent free of charge. Very reliable, 100% will return when I need to rent another car.
The person that checked me in was very personable yet professional. There were no problems when I asked to have another driver added even though he resided in Spain.Joe was great about selecting the car we needed and asked us to make sure it was comfortable before selecting it. He inspected the car for any scratches and/or dents and described what degree of damage would be held against us. This is the first time that had been done by anybody at Enterprise. The process for returning the car was quick and easy. We were very pleased with this location of Enterprise and Enterprise, in general. They are my “go-to” car rental company. All locations I have used have friendly, professional employees
Renting is easy (if you have a reservation at least)Staff was great as wellCar was clean, gassed up, and ready to rollMy only complaint about Enterprise (not just this location) is that I rent 30-35 weeks a year, and only get 4 upgrades in that period (a certificate via email). Sometimes I get an upgrade because my class of car isnt available of course. But the next competitive company gives me a 2 class upgrade (because of my status) on every rental...I like Enterprise - I like their prices, and reward program - and that is the reason I stick with them.Good Staff !!!(NOW GET THAT CONSTRUCTION COMPLETED AND I WILL USE YOU MORE OFTEN!).
We had the pleasure of working with Dreya Hamilton, Maria Irizary, and the manager Robert Hall when trying to manage a difficult reservation. We are here out of town for a family vacation and there are 8 of us so naturally we rented an 8 passenger suv. But when our SUV arrived we realized we could not all comfortable fit (we are all tall)! Robert and Dreya went above and beyond to help us get an appropriate sized upgrade. Maria kept checking in with the rest of my family to make sure they were okay while we waited. Because of their exceptional service we will be returning to rent from them again! We also need to shout out the guy who cleaned the vehicle, he was thorough and efficient! Thank you all for helping us to make our vacation more smooth!
Pick up was prompt with the driver doing a nice job with our luggage. Our car, a Nissan Sentra, was clean (except for the inside of the windshield which was a mess), smelled nice and met our needs. The agent did a thorough and accurate walk around and clearly explained the damage inspection upon return. Return was simple and quick. I had my receipt before we had unloaded the luggage and the van was waiting for us to return to the airport. Except for the dirty windshield an excellent experience.
I have rented from them a couple of times now, and really do not have a complaint. The staff I have worked with are knowledgeable and efficient. The location is clean, and since I check-in ahead of time they can always pull up my reservation without issue.I am usually in and out in less than 15 minutes. They may be slightly more expensive that others around the airport, but their efficiency is worth the few extra bucks. Honestly, I highly recommend them.
Enterprise bailed me out. Another rental agency sprung s surprise requirement at the counter. Was able to rebook on my cell phone. Quick ride to the enterprise center great courteous service. Service rep showed me all the minivans in stock. Price was very reasonable.Enterprise has come through time and again. Even more loyal due to this experience.
The manager and the team were very accommodating. I had made an error when I reserved the car online and they went out of their way to help me correct the issue without charging me more, when they clearly could have.I would go back to this shop any time to rent a car. Thank you to the manager and your team for giving me such a positive experience. I am happy to be your customer.Paula Kruger
Worst ever. Are the other reviewer paid to give 5 stars? This place sucks. I booked a 7 passenger SUV a month in advance and even called 2 days before just to triple check they would have the car available. They assured me they would, but of course I showed up and they only had a 6 person mini van. So, we had 7 adults sitting on each others laps trying to drive up in the mountains. Didnt go well. The manager promised we would be receiving a rebate, but that never happened. I called enterprise 800 number who promised a district manager would be calling me within 24 hours. That never happened. Unbelievably terrible all around.
Our pick up from LGA was a very quick, easy & accommodating experience. Em was our check in Representative who was very friendly and in short said I got you and she indeed did! Thank you Em for meeting my familys needs in providing us with exactly what we needed and the after hour drop off information. We will definitely do business again in the future : ) I already received my receipt and all is well - by the way, my kids now want me to purchase a vehicle similar to our rental! Thanks for everything!
Despite LGA being a nightmare due to construction, this was one of the smoothest car rental experiences Ive ever had. It started with the shuttle drivers and everyone else in-between. The only thing stopping a 5 start rating was that I asked the person helping me at the rental counter about tolls and if Enterprise charged any service fees for cashless tolls. I was told I would only be charged the fees from the toll agency. I got a bill with extra fees charged by Enterprise, but a quick call to their customer service took care of the fee. Excellent customer service and the car was in great shape. I will definitely rent from them again.
Left my phone in their car a week ago and still can’t get anyone at this location to respond to numerous requests from their own corporate offices nor will they respond to my requests. They have not updated their lost and found in over a month. Do not use!!! They don’t care about you. And two weeks later I get a robot answer. I already purchased a new phone because Enterprise wouldnt answer.
My group and I had an experience at this location over the weekend. We rented a vehicle from Canada and had troubling safety issues with it. We came to this location, after being rejected by others, for a switch in vehicles.Paul, (who I believe is a manager) quickly came out and helped descalate the situation. He wasn’t able to get us the same class vehicle we had, but within 10 mins got us something suitable (if not much better). He was only concerned about our best interest and getting us back on the road safely and smoothly.Whoever at Enterprise sees this; please give him a serious raise or bonus.- long time enterprise customer
I rented a full size SUV which is supposed to seat 7 passengers and 2 suitcases. Enterprise has chosen a Nissan Armada as their full size SUV, what they don’t tell you is the 3rd row seat is not a full width seat and does not comfortably seat an adult. It is also not wide enough for an infant car seat. Not to mention that it is nearly impossible to get two standard size suitcases (not oversized, not jumbo, just the size that Spirit allows which is pretty small considering) in the vehicle with the passengers. If you have a personal item like a back pack be prepared to put in on your lap because there is no extra floor space. When I brought my concern to the on duty manager she basically said well that’s what you rented and if it isn’t big enough you can pay for a premium SUV (which wasn’t even available). She told me she’d show me how to get the suitcases in stating that they will fit but she had no response to the concern for seat size and 7 passenger comfort. This vehicle should have been rented as a mid size or small SUV not a full-size. I only had 5 adults (none of which are obese or taller than 6 ft) and an infant car seat, the vehicle was uncomfortable and there was no place for our bags besides on our laps.Enterprise should have been more responsive to my concern. Simply put this vehicle should not be rented at an airport location with the expectation of rental to parties of 7 with 2 suitcases.
This Enterprise has outdone every other rental service. Best ever customer service, Robbie is a good customer rep all helped us walk through all the available cars and chose. Return process was easy, again great customer rep experience at return. Shuttle to the terminal readily available..
I stood outside in the cold for about 30 minutes before I could finally speak to someone. When their actions didnt match what I was told to expect, I was spoken to in the most condescending tone you could imagine. I hope I dont need to use the Laguardia Airport Enterprise ever again.
The class of vehicle I rented was not available and I received a free upgrade to the tier above - wonderful. only issue was ez-pass charges; the toll system was trying to read the licenses plate (there was none in the front b/c the vehicle was registered in florida) and as a result I was charged normal toll fees instead of ez-pass reading my personal tag. extra $60 (tolls plus enterprise service fee) in unnecessary charges. so be aware to address this when renting if such applies. otherwise great service overall with pickup & return.
I had to write because I was so pleasantly surprised. I have never encountered such a friendly staff at a rental car place. The rep that took care of us, Steve, even wrote his cell number in case we had any trouble with the car. Upon return, the shuttle driver saw I had pulled up and waited until the rep finished the return paperwork. Very fast, very professional, and very friendly, and the rates were great.
Great service. Staff are friendly, courteous and professional. Very efficient operation, both at pick-up and return. At return the shuttle driver came to help with our luggage as we were still unloading the car, then immediately took us back to the airport. We were in and out in minutes. The car was fine too - clean and in good condition.
I had the greatest experience with Enterprise. I flew into NYC via Laguardia I was picked up from Enterprise within 8 minutes of walking out of the airport. The driver named Jean was very nice and took my bag from me and loaded it on the bus and took it off. The customer service rep Cindy (If I remember her name correctly) was very nice. We went outside to find a car the first car didnt sound great when she started it and we went directly to another car. The car was clean and nice I had no problems at all. The return was just as easy I was very tired on the way back home and I do not remember the driver;s name who took me to the airport but he was very nice and was able t find my terminal and assisted me with my bags also. I had a great experience and would definitely rent from your company again. I have also told many people about my great experience. Thank you
I booked a Reservation from enterprise at Laguardia but when I arrived to pick it up they said that they dont have a car for me (even there was some cars in the lot), so I called in customer Care the guy on the phone sounded very helpful (was also just to fool me) and after a few minutes he told me that he checked with the national location from Laguardia and they have cars available and I can go pick it up from them, so I grabbed a cab and went over to national, but guess what I received the same answer there (the lot was actually empty), so I ended up paying for a taxi to LaGuardia then from Enterprise to National and then another taxi to ride home which was more than double of what my rental was supposed to be.It is not the First time I’m renting with enterprise and I never had such bad experience.
This was actually one of my best and most seamless rental experiences. I arrived, there were several people attentive and ready to assist me. The person who did assist me was named Brian. He was quick in getting my correct info in the system while being professional and personable. I was in my vehicle in maybe less than 10 minutes and on my way! I think the lady at the exits name was Ms. Karen. I say Ms. because she was definitely my senior. She was pleasant and professional as well. My experience upon dropping the vehicle off was just as seamless. I was in and out in no time. I really was able to appreciate it all in all. Way to go Enterprise. This was at the LaGuardia location. Thank you.
We normally try to rent from enterprise because of the friendly service and well maintained cars. Our last rental experience was not good at all. We were given a relatively new Ford SUV but it turned out it had no heat. Driving from LaGuardia airport to Pennsylvania we nearly froze to death. We even stopped in at a Ford dealership to help troubleshoot the heat problem but they were too busy to be of much help. We finally were able to swap out the car for an older van with an operational heater. With temperatures in the low 30s that was a welcome relief. Finally final bill for the week was almost $900. I think that was way too much money for this rental, and feel we were over charged.John A. Ferrante Sr.
My husband and I are loyal fans of Enterprise thanks to the folks and their service at this location! We were flying Sacramento to Newark and had numerous delays. The folks at the Newark Enterprise helped us troubleshoot what to do if we arrived after their location was closed. Then we ended up being re-routed to LaGuardia Airport and they helped us set up our rental there with no change in charges. We arrived just 30 min before that offices closing time. I ran to the curb & found only one car rental shuttle - Enterprises! Our plan was for me to get the rental car before the office closed and return for my husband after our baggage came off. Pete, the driver, wouldnt hear of leaving my husband there. The entire office stayed open for us (saw at least 6 smiling employees) well past midnight so that we could get our car and complete our transaction. I swear it was the Disneyland of car rental companies and now I will never rent anywhere else. The price was great too and we were given a really wonderful car, practically brand new! Am just planning another trip and didnt even comparison shop!
My husband bought my car from enterprise off of Sunrise Highway this summer and the service from Carline was amazing. Unaware that my husband was purchasing a car we were there for a few hours which did not feel that way at all. There was a comfortability, professionalism, and ability to understand what we were looking for and give us what we wanted with other options. Lets not forget the great prices and decent mileage. Ive had my vehicle for 5 months and I am pleased to say I have no complaints. Thank you Enterprise!
So LaGuardia is a complete mess, but you already knew that. Getting to the Enterprise shuttle is a complete mess, but you already knew that too. Enterprise cant do anything about either of those two issues. Once I got to the agency location, I checked in and had a car within 5 minutes. I can see the place slowing down if a lot of people show up at once. There are limited front desk agents and the lot is crammed into whatever space was available there. But the folks there were friendly and helpful. I returned my car at a different location, so I cant speak to that, but if youre flying out of LGA, leave yourself a lot of time for traffic.
Our flight was cancelled which forced us to make a last-minute decision to drive to our destination. Enterprise was such a great help! We received fantastic customer service even upon returning our car. This was only my second time renting from Enterprise but theyre winning me over.
I was picked up from the airport to the rental site. Staff was very friendly and professional. I was amazed by how friendly they were, thought I was back home in the south and not in NYC. The car they gave me was the same car that I drive back home , which was great for me. I also got the best deal around. All my previous experience with enterprise have been positive and I intend to use them again on my next trip , where ever that may be.
This is the second time Ive rented car with enterprise. The first time Ive got an Infiniti Q50 for the premium and that car was all awesomeness. The second time they said theyre all out of cars and gave me a Chevy sonic compact instead even I had a reservation and paid for the premium class price. A bit disappointed for the second time, but the staffs are all attentive and friendly. If you got everything filled up online, theres practically no wait at all. Fast service overall.
I usually dont have any bad experiences with Enterprise. However this time was slightly different. The employee asked me how I enjoyed the car & I told him it wasnt the best because I had issues with the key. The car kept indicating that the battery was dying and wouldnt start appropriately which was frustrating. He told me it was a new car & that it could happen. He didnt seem to care much. That was pretty disappointing 😕.
I always have a stellar experience at this location and also in Astoria. The staff is superior in customer service. They always greet you by name with a smile, offer water, engage you in genuine conversation and escort you to your car. They will also share their name and thank you for your business. Checking out at the gate is also first class. They always send you off with a sincere greeting for a great trip. I never rent from any other company.
All the people I dealt with at this facility were very professional and top rate! This is why I rent from Enterprise - your people. Monique got me into our vehicle with a minimum of fuss and maximum friendliness. Diego was the driver who picked us up at the airport, and drove us back to the dropoff point also. He did a great job driving and was interesting to talk to. He helped us with our heavy bags, which we really appreciated. The two young ladies who checked us in were great also. I didnt get their names, but can highly recommend them as examples of the friendly professional service Ive come to expect from Enterprise. The vehicle I had was in good condition, drove well and had no issues requiring service. It was clean when we got it. All in all a good experience. Or so I thought. When I was on the plane I realized I still had the car key in my pocket. The nice ladies who so quickly had ushered me out of the car never reminded me to leave my key on the seat or came after me after they noticed there was no key there. No big deal, I thought. I would just send the key back to the office. When I called Enterprise the next day the Customer Support rep forwarded my needs to the local office and the next day a representative of the LaGuardia Enterprise office called me with an address. No problem, just send it to this address. This happens all the time. So I put the key in an envelope, addressed it and sent it off. Silly me, I didnt get a tracking number and spend an additional $10 to get it certified return receipt requested! A week later I notice a $299.69 charge on my credit card! More calls to the 800 customer service. They cut a new key the day after I dropped the car off and posted the charge to my account! They didnt care whether I returned the key or not! I disputed the charge and that didnt work - Chase said the charge was legitimate. Customer Service was of limited help and the manager of the office where I rented the car has not called me as promised. This is not good customer service! As a retired person on limited income, this extra charge on top of the car rental really hurts my budget. I will not rent from Enterprise again because of this issue.
Excellent customer service! The main person at the counter (Danielle) was extremely helpful! I loved that she shook my hand and introduced herself at the start of the process and then delivered great customer service for my entire experience. This location was efficient, fast and knowledgeable about the area and process of renting a car. I was thoroughly impressed!!!!
Living in NYC i prefer to not own a car, but I do rent cas often. I must say of all the rental locations I go to, the customer service at this location is has down excellent. And they are very efficient is getting in and out, on your way without delay. Today I meet with M, she was wonderful.
Staff at this Enterprise location were very friendly and open. The reception I received when I walked in was cheerful from all memebers, even if they were not going to meet with me directly. The rental process was quick and easy and I was able to select my own vehicle. When I was heading back, I realized that the EZ Pass they provided me was not working so we got charged. When I returned the vehicle, I had my receipts and showed the agents. They were very understanding and deducted from my total bill to make up the cost.
Getting to and from this facility was the only hassle I had renting a car from LaGuardia Enterprise. I wish I could remember every name of each employee who assisted me but I only managed to retain Mariams business card. Everyone was polite, patient and most capable; a remarkably cheerful staff. Mariam was very helpful in expediting my rental while also upgrading me for a reasonable, small additional charge. The check-out woman was delightful as well. The Toyota RAV4 was practically new and in perfect shape; clean and undamaged. it was a joy to drive. Returning was a breeze if maybe perhaps a bit rushed as I ended up forgetting to leave the keys in the car. They were extremely polite in the face of this dilemma (which was my fault) and were patient in allowing me to rush them back without penalty. overall, a very positive experience and sufficient for me to check with Enterprise first when planning my next car rental. Thank you.
Everything was incredible at this location. I have been renting vehicles every weekend consistently for the past 3 months, and I am using every car rental available so that I may get a better feeling and understanding on who provides the better service. Out of 7 car rentals already visited, I must say ENTERPRISE has been the best. The best customer service Ive experienced in a car rental thus far. Highly recommended.
The quickest and most convenient car rental experience Ive ever had. After reading horrible Yelp reviews for my original rental car provider at LaGuardia, I panicked the night before my trip and switched at the last minute to Enterprise because they had great reviews. I arrived the next day to pick up my rental and was greeted by a team of very pleasant staff, then was driving off the lot within 10 minutes. The drop off process was even quicker - 5 minutes max, if that.
I have always had good experiences with Enterprise, whether renting local or away from home. My only objection is the inability to connect with a human being. Otherwise, the cars are always clean and reliable, the check-in/out process easy and the staff is always helpful. Ill keep using Enterprise!
I had a wonderful experience renting a car from Enterprise. I received excellent customer service from catching the shuttle bus at the terminal to the return of the vehicle and the shuttle ride back to the designated point of drop off. My thanks to everyone who made my experience a great one.
I would have given a 5-star review because the entire staff was super nice and helpful. Ms. Kim even went so far as to drive us, in the rental car, up to our gate because it was raining and we had our two sons in car seats instead of having to take them out get on a shuttle and wait to transfer to another shuttle and then refused a tip when we offered one. However, because of the aforementioned two kids and luggage, when we were dropped off I forgot that I had the keys (keyless ignition) in my pocket until I was going through security. I lowered my review by one star because instead of offering to have someone come to the airport so I could pass the keys to them, they required that I mailed the keys back to them.
I needed to pick up my rental car and was under a very strict timeline. I do not have a credit card, only a debit card. A day prior to renting I called ahead to ask and ensure that they would accept debit cards and was told that I could. When arriving I was told I couldnt use my debit card to rent the car.I stated that I called ahead to even verify that I could and was told specifically that I could use one. They said I talked to their office in St Louis and not that specific location. Well that shouldnt have mattered they should have informed me of any specific policies of that location at the time of booking. Now my wife has to make a trip all the way here to rent the car which is over an hour away and it is disrupting the strict timeline that we are on. I have to call several places to change arrival times because of this setback. This would have all been avoided had the agent at the time of booking informed us of the no debit card policy for local renters, which enterprise had 2 chances to inform me about. The time of booking AND the 2nd time I called to verify debit card use.
Thank you so much for the ease of service. Best rental experience Ive had to date. I was in and out in no time.. literally 4 minutes in the door and I was driving off in an upgraded vehicle, very clean and well maintained. Extremely courteous and welcoming service.. definitely will use again on my next trip to NYC!
Very friendly and helpful. Would be a 4 or 5-star review if I hadnt also had a few bad experiences there too. Twice now theyve offered to upgrade or modify my reservations for little or no extra cost, but when I returned there was no mention of this. For my last rental I was charged over $100 more than my original reservation when they had told me I should expect about $20 extra. They lowered it to the agreed-upon amount once I found the guy who told me originally. Another time, they didnt mark damage upon leaving because they assured me it wasnt enough to be considered damage when I returned, but sure enough, they tried to charge me for it. Fortunately I was skeptical and had taken a video prior to leaving. When I showed them, they agreed to waive the charge. But then I ended up getting something in the mail asking for my insurance info due to the damage. Again I had to respond and retell the whole story, eventually leading to them agreeing to let it go because I was a valued customer!!! Like they were doing me a favor. So, very nice folks and generally a good experience, but GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING because its a true hassle when they dont document what they promise.
Usually I receive great service from this location but not this time. First, the pick up driver at the airport zoomed pass the rental car stop. I had to flag him down in order gor him to stop in the second lane from the curb. He made no attempt to assist with our bags. Secondly, the agent who checked me in was lazy and not thorough. He sent me to the kiosk to check in although there was no other customer but me. After 3 failed attempts on the kiosk, he told me to come to his station at the counter. Then when he finally checked me in, he did not do the car inspection with me. During my use of the rental, the tire lights came on. So i had to take care of that. Upon my return to return the car, this agent, another one, was obnoxious at 5 AM! He had me waiting at the counter for 10 minutes as he fixed his tie and got himself ready for work. He then went outside to inspect the car and circled little specks on the windshield and discussed how pebbles fly and cause dents in the windshield. I told him i was not responsible for that and he made a snotty comment. I explained to him how the agent who gave me the car did not inspect the car. He said he would look into it. He then charged me for a full tank of gas although I only used a quarter tank and said thats how the prepaid gas policy goes. I told him the first agent didnt explain that to me. So I was charged 37.00 for gas that was not even consumed. The driver who dropped me at the airport was the only polite gentleman who listened and advised me to call corporate because I was not a satisfied customer. He mentioned there was new management. That explains a lot! Customer service has to be at the forefront and in this case it was not!
The place is like no other, you see your selection of vehicles before entering, really hassle free and the employees are really cool. I would always have this as my #1 choice when renting cars, and I will definitely recommend it to a friend before any other rental company or Enterprise rental location saving your time travelling to them rather than JFK is a noticeably different experience. I will also like to thank Jason who is the manager at the Branch for helping me out a lot and getting me into the vehicle that I wanted and treating me like a valued customer. 10/10 would rent again!
I had a great experience and everyone was super helpful. My only recommendation is to educate the staff on how to install a car seat. I would expect staff at a car rental place to know how and in turn help me to install it as necessary. I had to hand my daughter to the agent, who thankfully didnt cry being with a stranger because I traveled alone, while trying to install a car seat I was unfamiliar with. It added 10 minutes to my pretty tight schedule due to flight delays. The agent was sweet, helpful and took his job seriously so therefore apologetic when he couldnt help me install the car seat.
I was charged for four days instead of three days because I returned the rental car few hours late. I picked it up on Friday around 1PM and I returned it on Monday around 6PM. The reason for my late drop off is out of my control. since it is mainly because of the heavy traffic coming back from upper state NY to Laguardia airport location on labor day. I was very disappointed that I was charged for an additional day just because of arriving late and especially that I am a loyal customer and do rent from you all the time.
Great service and attention to detail by the entire staff at Enterprise at LaGuardia Airport. I was greeted immediately upon entry, provided excellent professional customer service by agent Juwan. No wait time and my vehicle was ready to go, even though I had a delayed arrival. Juwan was able to answer all questions I had and also provided additional information that I hadn’t thought about regarding my visit to the area (i.e. traffic, returning after scheduled time, fees). Best experience I’ve had in a while. I will definitely use Enterprise more if the staff is as great as the LaGuardia team. AAAAA+++++
Excellent customer service right from the manager to the person Sahib who actually assisted us in finding a very nice car of our choice. Sahib was very courteous and highly professional in his interaction with my wife and me!! People like Sahib will definitely go at great heights with their right attitude and professionalism in their careers! Please count me as your repeat customer as I will definitely choose Enterprise for my upcoming trip to Dallas, TX in July, 2015 since my wife and I are planning to travel there to attend my nephews wedding! In the meantime, please keep up the great customer service!!
Enterprise has been my go to rental company for more than 45 years. Starting with National Car Rental and then Enterprise, based on their respective availability, I have NEVER been disappointed. Branch managers have ALWAYS been accommodating and their customer service staff has proven beyond a doubt that they have my best interest in mind when handling my reservation from start to finish. It was a pleasure to once agin deal with Enterprise LGA where all my Enterprise/National experience began 45 years ago. The personnel were pleasant and accommodating - like family.
The staff were friendly and professional. Despite at the location being extremely busy, and me arriving two hours early, I never rushed or hurried. Checking process at the end of my rental was a breeze. Even after I arrived home the next day Enterprise were still helping me. I thought I had forgotten something in the car and they have an easy to navigate explicit lost and found section on their website.( I ended up finding the item in the bottom of my suitcase thankfully). The only thing keeping me from giving them five stars is on two separate occasions for two completely different reasons I had called to ask him a question and they were so busy I got their voicemail. Both times I left messages and neither time did I get a call back. The first call was before I left home 800 miles away had a question about my rental arriving early. The second time was the day before I was due to return the vehicle I had heard there was construction at the airport questions about the procedures for getting dropped off by their shuttle bus. Had did they called me back, and the gave both home and cell telephone numbers, either time this review would have five stars.
Dirtiest car I have ever received. Dirty face masks from other customers found beneath the seat. Drinks from other customers found in back seat. A large spider dropped down from the rear view mirror while driving. Given the times and the need to be cleaning and sanitizing more than ever and for enterprise to clearly be doing the exact opposite and have no standard other than, you should have chosen a different car.
The rental car was great & the customer service was great, but be leery about the “Toll” device. I was led to believe that the $3.95 per day would take care of toll costs, and then received a $182 toll bill a week later.I’m someone who doesn’t live in a place with tolls, so I had NO idea that $3.95 a day was a fee for just the device. Needless to say, this situation makes me very cautious about renting a car.
Super helpful staff when I picked up my rental. Kellie and Sara (I probably totally got their names wrong, and Im sorry for that) were courteous and friendly throughout the entire process. When ready to pick my minivan, the fleet within LGA did not have one available. This wasnt a problem, as Sara apologized for not keeping one in-house, and allowing me to upgrade to a SUV, free of charge.Return process was just as easy and seamless. Most satisfactory experience.I give this place 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈.

2022-07-01The check in and out was seamless. The staff was very nice and helpful with all the questions I had. Cars do come with toll road pass so you dont have to worry about paying tolls. They will send you the cost of tolls afterward. Even the shuttle driver was super nice. Would recommend!

2022-05-11Received a bill 6 months after my rental - after we were told that we would not be charged for picking up rental a few hours earlier than reservation time. We rented a car for a two week road trip October/November 2021. Our flight changed to an earlier time, so we arrived a few hours earlier than planned. I explained this to the Enterprise staff at the front desk (airport) and asked if we would be able to get a car earlier than the time on my reservation. I was worried that they might not have a car available, but they said that they did. I also asked if we would be charged for picking up a few hours earlier than our reservation time, and they said, “It’s not a problem. No, you won’t be charged.” Well, 6 months later, I just received a bill for $133.57 on April 6, 2022, for picking up my rental at 11:28am, instead of my reservation time of 4 or 5pm. I have already spoken to someone that states that they speak on behalf of Jenelle, the manager. She said because they do not have any documentation from the representative stating that there would be no charge, that I owe and need to pay. She also advised, “there’s nothing I can do.” Of course I expressed that I feel like it’s wrong for them to tell a customer one thing, and then send a bill almost 6 months later. After a few minutes on the phone, she asked if I would hold for a few minutes, and put me on hold. I assumed that she was going to speak to the manager and get back on the line with me, but after several minutes of holding I was disconnected. No return call.

2022-05-02Although LGA is still a bit of a mess because of construction and you have to use two buses if you come into terminal D like I did to get to Enterprise, it went surprisingly smoothly. And the check in process was quick and easy even for an occasional renter like me. I got a Toyota Corolla and it was in great shape, no problems. The rep walked around the car with me to check for damages. Would definitely rent again

2022-02-18I picked up a vehicle in LaGuardia then drove to JAX, FL. From the moment that I stepped into the pick up location, I was met by a few employees that were incredibly kind and professional. They were very engaging and we had some great discussion.Once I arrived at my destination, I was treated with the same respect and courtesy that I received at the start of my trip. The vehicle I chose was available and the processing was seamless at both places.A great staff is typically the face of the company and I was very impressed and satisfied. For the past seven years I was always with a competitor, but Enterprise has won me over.Thank you Enterprise...JFONEILL

2022-02-02This Enterprise location and its staff is superb. My wife and I were running late for our departing flight and if it wasnt for a member of this incredible staff volunteering to drive us directly to our terminal, we would have surely missed our flight. 5/5 stars. Thanks, guys!

2022-06-07Enterprise was a great help to us. Our airline cancelled our flight last minute and we had to scramble to change our rental car from Newark (pickup) to LaGuardia, but keep our Newark drop off. Within 5 minutes they were able to do that for me.Also, the attendants in LaGuardia were very helpful, and Lance was able to guide us in the right direction.I would definitely recommend Enterprise

2022-06-05LGA is a complete mess. You have to take two shuttles to get to enterprise which sits slightly outside the airport itself. The enterprise shuttle bus driver decided not to turn on the A/C so everyone was sweating on the ride over. Our vehicle windows were absolutely filthy, we had to clean them several times. The staff is friendly, but they could improve the vehicle cleanliness.

2022-05-16Flew into LaGuardia and was given a free upgrade due to the lack of cars available onsite at that moment. The return we easy and stress free after a 2 hour drive in the rain. They even dropped us at the airport!Enterprise has always done the extra bit of service as a reliable part of how they do business (as opposed to extra only in response to a problem ) a rare thing these days!

2022-03-31The wait time to pick up the car was one hour with only 6 rental parties ahead of us. None of the kiosks were working. Weve been in COVID for two years would expect the process would be much better.

2022-05-07We book the reservation 12pm and when we get there they told us no car and they are so bad customer service and we loose uber fair and time and we miss the meeting also so terrible
