If I could give zero stars I would! Horrific service! They are SCAMMERS!!! My boyfriend and I rented a car for a week. When we got the car there were a few dings already on the car but we decided to take the car anyways. The woman did a walk around for the car, we did the paperwork and we left with it. We return the car a week later as scheduled. The woman walks around the car once more to make sure nothing was wrong with the car. She said everything was fine, we gave her the keys and we left. She did not give us a receipt before leaving the building. We left the property and about 20 minutes later we get a phone call stating there was damage to the car. The car needed to go to the body shop and that we needed to make a claim on our insurance. Absolutely not, the lady just sent us away and said everything was fine. Now there is something wrong with the car? They are trying to scam us to fix the dings on the car THAT WERE ALREADY THERE WHEN WE GOT THE CAR! For anyone reading this, TAKE PICTURES BEFORE TAKING THE CAR OFF THE PROPERTY AND TAKE PICTURES OF THE CONDITIONS OF THE CAR WHEN YOU DROP IT OFF! SCAMMERS!
The Car was nice no problem. What I didnt like was the service.The day before I had my last rental I was by customer service and She asked me if I wanted to come pick the car up that day at no charge.I was unable to do so because I had my second job that I had to get to.To make it clear I wanted the for that Saturday July 18th i had a out of town engagement and My show wasnt over until 10.pm. i wasnt going to drive back from the Arkvillie NY that time of night it would have been really later when i got home and driving though the mountains at that time of night wasnt save thru the Catskills. I got a good nights rest. Got back to Rochester that afternoon. I brought the car back shortly after I returned. It wasnt like I had the car the whole day. My issue if they were going to give me the car for a extra day anyway Why charge me for the vehicle the whole day. it was no way I could have the car back by 9 am. My name is Chris Beard and i have been renting from you guys for sometime now. I recently became a plus member. I just want to be treated right. A most enjoyable experience. The staff picked me up from where my car was being serviced. The driver was friendly and held good conversation. When I got to the store/lot they were ready to serve me, offered me a bottle of water for the road and gave me a choice of available vehicles.Upon returning to pick my vehicle up from the service station I was told I could leave the rental and the keys at the service station and enterprise staff would pick it up from there.Great service and Id definitely use you in the future (although you all have been my top pick prior to this service)
Best car rental customer service we have ever experienced! They showed us options, walked us through the vehicle check--when we left the lot wediscovered my wife had an allergic reaction to something in the car(possibly previous smoke). They gave us more options and in the endupgraded us and gave us some free gas for the inconvenience. When wereturned the car, the service was just as friendly and thorough.Excellent!P.S. I booked online so I got a MUCH better rate than I was quoted over the phone from the rental location.
Love renting cars from Enterprise-Weve rented using other companies and they just dont measure up to Enterprise. We were able to pick up our car a little earlier than we first were going to. Troy and Kiera were both very helpful! We thought we reserved a Standard SUV but ended up with a compact and there really wasnt a ton of room both for bags and passengers. That would really be the only downfall. In the future well be sure to get the standard or larger. Most cars weve rented seemed roomier.
I was satisfied with rental. They were late picking me which delayed my trip. The representative was very pleasant. Wish I would have know xm radio no longer come in the vehicles. The car drop really nice. Lets just work on communication between staff members so your customer doesnt have to receive mediocre service because I chose enterprise because they pick you up.
I put a reservation in on June 18th for another car for July 3rd. The people at enterprise knew that I had already had a car out with them and they called that Thursday before the 3rd whichwas July 2nd to confirm that we was coming for another car. So July 3rd comes and they was now telling us that they wasn’t aware of us having out a car and wanting another one and that we can keep the same one but the problem was the price it was to much & the car that we had came to return we didn’t want in the first place because it costed to much. There were 2 ladies that were very rude. They said they were giving us a deal but in reality we ended up paying the same price. I really feel beat by them and I’m never returning back after I drop this car off. The 2 ladies that assisted us was very rude and need better training and another lady came and butted into the conversation very rudely as if we were even talking to her. BAD EXPERIENCE HERE ILL GO FAR OUT BEFORE I DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN EVER
Ive been renting cars here for over a year and Ive been satisfied up until the last time I rented at Roc International Airport. The rate was crazy high from what I usually pay and the rates always seem to change. Even for an Enterprise Plus Member? The guy that was working was asking me a whole bunch of questions, and at one point I felt like I was being interrogated. These are questions filled out the first time renting. Like really? Dont you guys all share one system or something? But overall the cars are good, and nice. Im not going to let that one bad experience stop me from renting again. Im just hoping for a better experience next time.
I recently traveled from Florida to Rochester, New York. I rented a car online through Enterprise and I was sent emails to remind me of my pick up time and drop off time. These emails were very helpful since my visit was short and my days were very hectic. When I picked up the car the service was exceptional. This was my first time renting a car and the employees walked me through the whole process and answered all my questions before I asked. I was very pleased with the level of professionalism and the speed of the whole encounter. I will definitely be using Enterprise on all of my future trips.
All in all it worked out...even tho I couldnt get the 9.99 deal at the airport...which was frustrating -since i had to return it & then get a cab to the airport at 5 am. Sara was nice; but after choosing a car- i had noticed the car registration sticker was going to expire while I rented it, so i changed choice of cars & then that took longer than expected. My reservation was for 9 and I didnt get out of there till 9:30. I mentioned that & was told by Sara that my reservation wasnt till 10:30 ( she was incorrect). Also got a call from Sandy to be sure all was well with my rental, i guess that was nice.
The employees are very great and efficient as this is a busy location being right near the airport. My only complaint is the rental car I had. It was nice and clean and new. But, Nissans are not the most comfortable and enjoyable. It is a good think I was traveling alone or it would have made for a very uncomfortable and cramped ride.
The agents were polite however failed to point out at time of renting that any tickets received would be an extra $20 charge... I was forced to rent a car after another driver hit me and totaled my car. The other drivers insurance set me up with a rental through Enterprise. I was never informed that a parking violation occured, which is one thing. I was charged for the cost of the ticket as well as an additional $20 fee from Enterprise for a car I rented over two months ago with no warning and no bill or invoice sent to me at all? Not even an email or a phone call advising of the charge. Lack of transparency ensures Ill never rent from them again.
Recently rented a car in Rochester, NY and everything was fantastic. The rate was great but the customer service was truly exceptional from the time I reserved the car on-line, to picking it up, a check-in from Enterprise to see if everything was ok and finally dropping the car off. The employees seem to really enjoy their jobs, have fun and make sure that you are happy. I will definitely rent from them in the future. They know what matters!!
This location is my favorite. Very professional staff.. Great variety of cars to chose from. Very prompt with getting you in and out.. Im always telling family and friends to get there rentals from them. Proud of renting from them for over 7years.... Keep up the awesome job guys!!!!
The rental car that I got was great. However my husband left his glasses in the visor even though I call the same day I returned the car as well as everyday after for 4 day I still have not heard from anyone in lost on found. So my advice to anyone rental a car please check to make sur that u get everything thats important or u will b out of 427.00 dollars n thats not for the rental car
So for the last couple weeks after my complaint about the manager Kayla.. and broken promises from upper management about regional managers giving me a call. I havent received not one from anybody.. I have waited 3 weeks about for a phone call not one. I guess this is how they do business with people in general
As an expert at evaluating Enterprise locations (241 Rentals in 2017), I give the highest recommendation to this particular location. Always happy to help and accommodate the customer to make our rental experiences easy and far above average. I thank Christina and her staff for going the extra mile. I rent a vehicle from this Enterprise several times a year for work trips. The employees that I have interacted with are always attentive and able to answer any question I have. The vehicles are of good quality and If they do not have the exact vehicle I reserved because of unforeseen circumstances, they have available other options.
The service was the best I experienced when renting a car. I felt that my needs were important and the agents were very supportive to making sure I have the vehicle I need for my trip. Thank you to all staff also staff who provided transportation from my house to rental place.
Originally I gave them a one star bc I had rented a car and was charged an amount I was not expecting as I needed the car an additional two days, when I had called to extend the rental the wrong amount was proposed, original quote was for $100 extra, when I returned the car it was actually $228 extra. The individual I spoke to also didn’t mention they would not be open the day I needed to return and I was unaware there was a drop box for keys so I returned the next day. With this being said it is still a significant difference in price. When I received a call about this I tried to explain this to the customer service rep and I don’t think they were quite understanding I was originally quoted $100 for two days. Balancing out to be $50 a day (not including liability) and the actual price was $76 (not including liability), so I was originally given an incorrect quote on top of the associate not informing me they would be closed. All in all customer service here could really use some work, being more informative and accurate with information. I was refunded $86 for the inconvenience so I appreciate the willingness to resolve my issue, but this whole issue could have been avoided with basic communication, when I’m expecting to only pay $100 for 2 days I’m expecting $150 for 3 days, but it was actually $150 for two days creating $228 for 3 days. Again appreciate the refund but this has been a very annoying experience as I rent cars a few times a year I will most likely be going to another company.
Rough go of things over at the Buell Rd location. West Henrietta location has always been great though (maybe vehicle availability due to proximity to the dealerships?). Dont make a reservation for a Saturdays at the noon time their system defaults to; staff was unprepared to handle the amount of people/calls and close at 2pm. Took about 20-30 minutes per car to bring it from the gated security lot - first car was smokey and stains all over the seats, and someone took the floor mats. 2nd car had the faint smell of urine/wet towel but was at least a decent car. I vacuumed and wiped everything down for the next renter to spare them the same experience. Checkout process was rough, little credit card scanner attached to iPad broke off and wouldnt work. No in-house knowledge about features/details about available cars. I know people that have had good experiences here, but mine unfortunately was not.
As is consistently my experience as an E-car frequent flyer, I am totally satisfied with the service, the product and the friendliness offered by Sara and the whole team. Youre a great group and I would rent every week if I could -- just for the fun of it! Thanks..... Lyle
I had originally scheduled with another Rochester area Enterprise, but needed a car early and they couldnt accommodate the request. I was sent to the Buell Road location and was not only accommodated, but upgraded! I highly recommend renting from this location to anyone traveling to or from the Rochester area. Bonus because its moments from the airport!
Oh boy did I have a learning experience at this location today. Last Monday I dropped off my car to be fixed for a hit and run done to my vehicle. I chose to rent from enterprise because of the popular name. Should have know big names mean big business models.I was dropped off here, went in gave my name verified my insurance and was brought out to my rental. The girl who helped me was very sweet, upbeat, personable, I actually liked her. We were outside going through the rental agreement and at one point she asks me were you interested in the additional coverage? I clearly stated No Im all set I have collision through my insurance Ill just use that, I dont need anything extra Im just going to work and home. She stated oh okay yeah that makes sense, so just basic? And me (who has never rented a car before assumed she meant my basic coverage through my insurance) said yes. I sign the agreement on her little ipad and I drive off.Today I go to return the vehicle at the same place. Same girl is working, she accepts my keys goes and checks the vehicle everything is fine until we go to check out. She tells me my bill is over $200. I state no my insurance covers $30 a day and the extra was $3.80 a day times 10 days is $38.00 plus tax. She says well no you have the basic insurance. I state no I told you I wanted nothing extra I have collision through my insurance. She goes well you signed off on it I say yes because I said nothing extra, you said so just basic, and I said yesTHEN IT CLICKS! She worded her sales pitch so well that I had no idea what I was signing on for. Turns out enterprise has 3 TIERS!1.no coverage, just your insurance2.BASIC coverage3.ADDITIONAL coverageMe, who has never rented before thought that by stating nothing additional meant NO ADDITIONAL COST as Id assume most people would understand.I looked at her and I actually smiled I said well played hun. You have done exactly as you were obviously trained, to confuse the customer or word it in such a way we have no idea what were signing. Bravo to you for getting one over on me! I mean how can I honestly be mad at that?What bothers me though is SHE DIDNT EVEN DENY IT! I stated over and over you did your job to a T exactly how you were trained to screw over someone who clearly doesnt know what they are doing or doing this for the first time. She just blankly stared and replied you signed off on it..Thank god there were other people there waiting to rent a car to witness my humiliation and learn. The woman behind me says out loud well we sure know how now to screwed by them now! Im happy I could help someone else from being manipulated and hopefully this expensive learning experience will save others the hassle as well. Ive already notified my insurance who has been with my family for over 30 years and has agreed they will no longer be referring to enterprise for fear of their customers being disrespected in the same manner.Dont be confused Im not mad at the girl, she was doing as she was clearly taught. Im upset I allowed myself to be manipulated by a business who obviously wants to screw over customers legally.Side note, when I went to pick up my car I mentioned this to the auto repair place. They told me they just had an elderly woman drop off her car who enterprise demanded to hold $300 on her card when it is only supposed to be $100 hold. Age discrimination lawsuit? I wouldnt recommend dealing with Enterprise at least not the one in Rochester NY near the airport. I had called the 800 number to book a car but when I got there to pick up the car the woman who worked who she said she was the manager was very rude with me. When I had called the 800 number I told them I didnt have a major credit card which they said was fine without going in major detail its possible to rent a car without one. I told them I needed the car to go one from Rochester NY to Boardman OH. I told them I had flew from Ohio to New York but I wanted to drive back. Well when I went to pick up the car the lady said I couldnt rent the car because I lived in Ohio the car needed to be driven back to Rochester round trip. When I was on the phone I had already filled them In on my situation and that it was fine to go one way and that it would be an extra 100 dollars and I could drive to the Boardman OH and leave it there. The lady told me she didnt care what they said when I booked the car over the 800 number they wrong and to check with budget.
I was told by an employee (by phone) that the Enterprise at ROC was open until 12:00 PM. I arrived at 11:30 PM and it was closed, but National and Hertz were open. I arrived the next morning to pick up a standard size car, but was down graded to the next size down, which was a $30. savings. The worst rental experience I have had any where.
My recent experience With this location was outstanding I’ve been renting from enterprise for over 6 years this is the best location I’ve seen Very clean very nice selection of cars to choose from staff and management was very friendly and helpful I wish I can give ten stars for the great service I highly recommend This location to everyone.
I was lied to. I was told if I paid $100 extra I could bring the car back empty and the cost to fill it up would come out of that $100 and whatever was not used I would be refunded. I called and asked about my refund a few days after the car was returned and was told there was never suppose to be a refund. NEVER again will I go here for a car

2021-09-03James was the best ever, after a real horrible experience at Victor Enterprise. It was like day and night, most important the car was THERE and very clean, James put up with every question I had and was very willing to work with me and there was no pressure to return the car. I would highly recommend this to everyone. You can only give 5 stars I would give them a 10.

2020-07-08I really appreciated The service I got at the Buell Road Enterprise car rental facility in Rochester, NY. As I was finishing up registration, I was asked the usual question of which insurance coverage did I want. Usually I don’t take either because I have my own good insurance.However, this time the insurance policy covering just the rental car was very reasonable so I took it. And as it turned out later that was a very fortunate decision for me Turning onto a very busy US 64 from a country road in the mountains of Pennsylvania, I was sideswiped by a car that I didn’t see until it hit me. Fortunately the driver of that car swerved so it was not a direct collision. If it had been, the accident would’ve caused a lot more damage and probably injuries to both drivers. Instead one of my fenders wasDamaged and the other car had scrape marks along the side.After seeing that there were no injuries and minimal damage, my anxiety was over the hassle that I would get when I brought the car back. However, there was no hassle; I just was given some papers and told to call a certain number, which I did. It was the Damage Recovery unit, and they asked me some questions and that was all there was to it. No hassle whatsoever!Submitted by Peter A Bowman. a very satisfied long-time Enterprise customer.

2018-08-06This has been one of the easiest experiences of my life. I had the car for about a month and a half and had to extend or rewrite my contract several times and each interaction with the staff was excellent. The were courteous, knowledgeable, caring and professional. K needed the car due to an accident and the insurance company rented it for me. When I exhausted the insurance benefit and rented it privately, the experience was just the same.I dont have to tell you, an accident can be very stressful but the staff at the Buell Rd. Enterprise made the experience painless. They asked if I was OK after my crash and were concerned with how the car I rented compared to what i normally drove. They called or emailed me several times to make sure everything was working out well with my rental and to ask if there was anything I needed or anything they could do for me.The car itself was a low millage mid sized car that was very comfortable and clean and ran well and got great millage.All in all, a great experience. I would rent from Enterprise again in a second. And if this crew is indicative of Enterprise nationally, then you can use them anywhere with confidence.Thank you, Enterprise!

2019-12-14Absolutely wonderful service from beginning to end. The staff is amazing, very understanding and accommodating. I was in a major car accident a few days before Thanksgiving after many long and exhausting back & forth conversations I was finally approved for a rental through the other party insurance Katherine, Annette, Andrew, and the younger gentlemen that brought me home (I didnt catch his name) went above and beyond to make the car rental experience smoothly. I would definitely recommend

2020-09-17Kayla the manager of this location was completely rude to me.. Completely unprofessional of how she runs that location.. She lied to her bosses regarding a weekly payment plan in which i was late every week, which wasnt the case.. When i told her things when car needed maintenance done for engine light . she accused me of just trying to get out of car bc a car i had before hand had needed oil change according to computer in car. Was totally disrespectful.. When i called corporate to get 24hr extension with permission not knowing corporate had no say over her store.. This woman doesnt know first thing about customer value.. And did everything in her power to not be unprofessional in matter when offering to pay her she denied me.. Just be aware of how she does things.. She is a snake.. And when asked to talk to district manager or regional i got horsed around. The rest of staff were friendly, but unhappy that i had to quit a 2nd job bc kayla was unprofessional in every way possible, and bc of her lies she damaged my reputation by red flagging me now so i cant rent through enterprise or affiliates of theres even when returning vehicle, taking care of vehicle did everything right .. She was as unprofessional as unprofessional gets...and also in the middle of all this be aware who ever reads this.. She took money out my account without permission.. For a reason that wasnt explained.. Again i dont owe them money but bc me and kayla didnt eye to eye ive been red listed.. Enterprise management if you read this fire her... She needs to go..

2020-12-28Convient pick up and drop offThis is the 2nd time i got a rental car after totaling my car in 3 years (1st my fault) (2nd Deer).Insurance paid for rental both times.They did forget to pick me up but when i called they were quick to come out and gave me a free upgrade and apoligized.I love that they pick you up and that you can leave the rental at the dealership and they will get the car themselves.I have never been charged for damage using this service because they were honest about the condition it was returned in.I will defenitly rent a car here again.
