Be careful with what you buy! When I approached them about a fig tree the woman was very helpful, she turned me onto the Chicago Hardy and told me the “will withstand our winters.”Planted the tree and got figs in year one, how awesome, right?!Well it didn’t even make it one winter.Just got off the phone with the guy there and he told me they won’t replace. I’ve had it less than a year!! So please make sure you are getting something in writing with these guys if you want to make sure your plant is covered. I’ve bought a lot from them over the years and now probably no more. Time to find a new nursery. SMH bad business EP!**Just so you know I almost never leave a bad review, but this upset me. Also, before writing this I called a couple other nurseries in the area and when I asked them about their Chicago Hardy fig trees and if they didn’t make it through the winter they said they’d replace them.

I’ve been shopping at Jansens for 22 years and I plan on using them until the day I retire. What started off initially as a nursery has turned into an empire, which now includes natural stone, pavers and other masonry related items. The largest suppliers around with an incredible selection of stone, top notch customer service and great prices. This family really cares about your business and I appreciate coming back every season to see the same staff. Stop by. You won’t be disappointed!

Alberto came over planted my trees where i wanted and was a pleasure ...my trees that i bought are amazing and i will be back. Walking around the nursery was a wonderful experience. You wont be disappointed.. but a week after oscar came over and overcharged me double for less work. Please after this i realize ive been taken by oscar. Nursery is wonderful but be for worened.... dont have oscar plantyour plants

LOVE this nursery! Great prices, helpful staff and they stand by their products. We bought about $600 of plants a couple weeks ago including a few ferns that hadnt come up yet. Out of the 6 ferns only 3 came up. Today I took a few photos and went there to show them. They promptly allowed me to go pick out three more for free and sent me on my way with a smile. Yes, I purchased some plants from them... but they purchased my loyalty today ;-)

My mom purchased a Blue Spruce as a 50th birthday present for me. She paid for the tree AND to have someone come out and plant it for us. She took such great care in picking out a beautiful tree and felt good supporting a local business in the middle of a pandemic. The tree was planted on May 11th. Two months later, the tree is dying and in total distress. We went there today to find out if there was anything we could do and were told by multiple people that there is no guarantee on the tree. We brought photos. My 76 year old mom standing there with tears in her eyes says, “so you are saying i spent all this money for the tree and have it put in right and it’s dead and oh well there’s nothing you can do?” They replied yes that’s what we are telling you. She asked to speak to an owner or manager and was told they weren’t available. Sorry. We believe there was a manager there. We saw her helping others and we saw the guys we were speaking to go over there and talk to her. We waited to see if we could catch her but she kept herself occupied. While everyone today was polite, they were clearly not interested or not empowered to help or find us someone who could. They spent the conversation saying we didn’t give it enough water, then It became well you gave it too much water. Here, take some fertilizer. Basically saying it was our fault the tree was dead. Again, sorry you spent so much money and now have a big dead Blue Spruce in your front yard, have a nice day. We asked around at several other nurseries and all guarantee their trees for at least 3 months. Now we are going to have to pay another nursery to come out, remove this one, and put in a new one. Soooooo disappointed not just because the tree is dying but the way they treated my mom today. Especially given all the wonderful reviews I had expected more.
