I reviewed etain - Hudson Valley before. Honestly, the only time I had that same feeling was when it mustve been maybe the owner there one day. Nah, business class. medmj is.. um.. a compassionate service, sure.. ANYWAY. Now, (for several months) I am on dolce motif vape and -for me- it is heaven. I knew it my first dose. I dont have the same results with ingestibles but dolce motif vape one dose, my pain was gone. The taste is, also, heaven. I started with the cartridge vapes and I liked them but I had to try dolce (in any vape) before it was soooooooooo pleasant in motif. Customer service has also improved. The staff there now is the best! I wish I knew one of their names but she knows me and she is always helpful! They all are. I like your building decor, over the months.
I am very happy with Etain! The staff makes me feel comfortable, they patiently answer my questions and they are knowledgeable about the products. I am receiving effective pain relief from the various items they sell. It is very convenient that they deliver too.

Ive been going here since theyve opened, EVEN with the extremely high prices because of their staff. When it comes to the vapes DO NOT BUY FROM ETAIN. They are way overpriced, way too many inconsistencies with each vape, some empty fully some dont, each 2-3 second hit is different from one another. I could go on. I shouldnt have to wait every 3 to 4 purchases to get a decent vape. I have brought it to their attention multiple times before this post as well.

I use it because it’s the closest one, but the weed is always a dark brown, which I hate. I don’t feel very high from the weed, I’m thankful it’s nearby though. I do wish they got better at drying their weed so it wasn’t so dried out and brown. I appreciate that it’s run by women.

I’m using the spray variation of medical marijuana. It does seem to ease some of my back pain. I think next time I buy more, I will find out if Etain also sells a cream I can rub on my knees and hands.
I was a little leery of trying medical marijuana for my daughter who is disabled this was the best thing I did for her. The staff/ pharmacist was very knowledgeable and attentive and was very helpful of knowing what I needed for her I appreciate the convenience of me being able to get this locally.

Very nice but the carts are never full and when I first starting going there. The carts had rubber caps then it changed packaging and ever since the carts almost have 1/4 out of them. It’s good product but expensive to get ripped off
I have driven by this place so many times and due to the high prices I just always ended up choosing another dispensary. I even considered the extra time and gas and still it’s far more cost efficient. I finally decided to go in because I really do like their mission and I wanted to support it. Their selection is limited, but hopefully that will change with time.Their prices on the other hand I feel are just unjustifiable. I understand all the factors that play into overhead and the likes, but 50$ for a .25mg cartridge is a bit steep.Don’t get me wrong, the oil seems to be quite lovely. This somewhat dark oil that I am assuming is a full-spectrum is in a really nice tank (very nice components; adjustable airflow, solid steel mouth piece, and a pretty hefty copper contact pin). But it has these little, pin-sized holes that do not adequately supply the coil with the necessary material, in the necessary time in order to prevent it from overheating and scorching the coil assembly; especially considering how incredibly viscous this oil actually is.I tasted it at first and it was great, and then even with only short 1-3 second inhalation’s on blue (middle heat) within my 4-5th time using it, it began to burn my throat and it’s very obvious when a coil is scorching, especially if there is a wick.So 8hours into having this $50 ultra mini tank I was forced to continuously do the lighter trick, or hold it in front of a hot air vent to only get a sub-par dose at best.Now on the second day it bears no resemblance to the original flavor and doses are extremely light and somehow even so still burns my throat.The girl at the front counter was lovely.Though she did inform me of a discount that I would get as a new member on this first purchase, which now thinking back on- they did not actually give to me 🤷🏻♂️Oh and a previous reply to a comment of theirs mentioned them being on par or better priced than other dispensaries as far as per milligram content goes. Please, if I am incorrect then do fact check me on this Etain, as I certainly don’t wish to spread lies. But The packaging on my vape actually states that there is 252MG of THC and

Awesome Experience! I was rather daunted about the entire medical marijuana certification process. I found a very genuine nurse practitioner who certified me. That was only part of the process. I went to the Kingston Etain dispensary and I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff here are ALL very knowledgeable and compassionate and make the potentially difficult choices very simple. From start to finish Etain has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dispensary. They also offer discounts and buyer appreciation rewards. They definitely put their patients comfort first and offer a large enough variety so there is something for everyone. Im relatively new. Higher priced then other dispensaries. going to try Newburgh next. Recent vapes at etain were super dark colored, no caps and was harsh. Not too impressed

I had a terrific experience at this dispensary on my first visit. The staff was very friendly and quite a bit more informative than other places I have been. The quality of the product so far has been grade A as well. The staff said that they are always well stocked which has been an issue for me at the prior location I used. This will be my go to stop from now on.

Theyre always so helpful and kind there. Very understanding and knowledgeable regarding medical conditions and how their different products will help with different diseases/illnesses. They know the law inside and out, and their prices are state regulated (information for those who post regarding their high prices). Their staff is professional and up to date with the most recent industry news and science. The dispensing is done by Pharmacists just like any pharmacy, so you can ask them questions about the strain/delivery system, etc. and they are happy to answer any questions you have. Im a Caregiver for a patient, but in my opinion any patient or Caregiver is lucky to have Etain looking after them.
Always out of extra large vapes, not a good thing. Just today again after last month being out , I looked again today and there’s no more xl vape.. bad news. Hate buying them tiny large vape feels like there gone immediately smh dissapooning..

The shop is very clean, the staff is very knowledgeable and kind, it is in a great and easy to access location, I cannot, however, justify paying up to 200% markups on products I can get if I drive down to newburgh for considerably less $. The only way they stay afloat is if they figure out some way to drive down costs
This madical marijuana office is run by women. Excellent, friendly service. Hoping for less expensive items in the future (like California has) so Im able to purchase what I need monthly. Instead, i can only afford one capsule daily. The waiting room is comfortable, everyone is very nice.
Their customer service here really cant be beat. They have a good amount of options & very effective formulas. The staff at the Kingston location are all super friendly and knowledgeable too. If you have a mmj card, I highly recommend checking out etain. Its not hard to get an appointment and once youve seen the pharmacist ordering is a breeze. Very knowledgeable pharmacist, too.
Fantastic, Ive parted ways with my old pain medication after a few months. Im no longer dependent, quality has been restored to my life!I like to use the dolce xl or mezzo during the day, no pain and Im able to stay alert. In the evening I like the balance. Last time I went to the pharmacy I was prescribed balance powder. Truly fantastic medicine, I like to measure it into my nut butter dip and yogurt bark.Very supportive pharmacy, thank you for keeping me safe and pain free.
Updated - so their prices are still extremely high. Yes they did reduce their prices a bit to try and compete with Curaleaf or Botanist.. however it’s still more expensive. 130.00 for a gram in Etain is 120 in curaleaf. But curaleaf has 0.5 for 60-75 where etain only has 80.00 cost. Again they have come along way since this original post but please all the owners of the cannabis industry need to reduce their prices or else the black market will continue to strive.Way to expensive 200 for a half gram that is not even filled half way. Purchased the full grams first for an even more redic price. All of the carts broke and had oil leaking from the top or bottom. I had to go back 10 times to get them replaced. So over priced and shotty carts.I just came back a year later to see how the prices are and they are charging 135.00 (before tax) for 500 MG cart which is the same as getting 500 MG from Curaleaf for 70.00 or less. In Cakifornia you can get a full gram 1,000 MG for an average of 45.00 to 55.00. These NY companies are bleeding us dry but not as bad as all the ETain locations. DROP your vapo prices in half and watch the buisness. If you cant then yall are screwed and will continue to lose buisness.

Clean, polite front desk and pharmacy personnel. It is far and the only one close to where I live, and expensive as well. If their prices were lower it would be the best. Vape cartridges dont contain that much especially for almost $200. But you cant beat the quality. Grade A plus.

I think that there staff is great and they give you many options. If you are new to the program they inform you so you fully understand all hat they have to offer to help with your pain needs. The Government needs to see that these type of programs can help so many with people who deal with pain and want to live there lives. This can help a lot of people.
My wife stopped here with a NYS medical card, everything was legit,they found her in the system. Had NYS ID ,medical card and the printed temporary medical card. Still wouldnt sell to her....even though she has bought from a few other places in NY. Insisted on her needing a paper prescription...so now we wasted 2 hours of time ,my wifes in pain and to top it all off one of the employees was rude and couldnt articulate to my wife why or what else she needed to complete the transaction.....

Great place always helpful. I was told new products are coming soon cant wait. Well I went back on October 11th and yes I purchased the powdered cannabis oil WOW a game changer for me. I tried the forte and I slept longer than I have in a long time and laughed so much before I went to bed . Imagine being able to add to a beverage, I had coffee and felt it in 20 minutes give it a try you will definitely enjoy . Im really pain free and no opiate YAY I was able to sleep after some coffee.
Ive been going here since it opened and have had great luck. Theyve always taken me with or without an appointment. I get in quickly and am out of there in less than 15 minutes tops. Everyone has been so nice to me. Prices are high, but to be expected. What is needed is legistation for insurance companies to cover some of the cost. Make it affordable for everyone that requires it. I highly recommend this Etain Health! UPDATE: I guess I spoke too soon. Was just there on Tuesday 2/7/17. The wait was nearly 45 minutes, but I was OK with that because I didnt have an appt. However, on my way home I realized that the Forte Vape I just purchased for $180 was only half filled. I live 30 miles away and called them from my car on the way home. Was told that a pharmacist would get back with me. Never heard from them. So I just now called and spoke with Anthony 2/10/17 and he basicall didnt give a hoot about my delima. So, I got ripped off and will not be going back again. I spent over two thuosand dollars last year and never again!!!!! I may just have to seek legal assistance since I really dont like to be ripped off.

I have to say best quality vape pen I have ever purchased and 2 hits I was feeling nice. Excellent product and service. Now let’s see how lunch is!

Its so expensive. And its not right people cant get all of their meds because of how expensive it is. Nothing comes filled to the top. I do Love 3 of the products there. Staff is very friendly. Its just so expensive. No matter what u get, everything is $105, Im supposed to get 5 of the strongest medicine,half n half, but I cant even get it. So I suffer n deal with it. Medical Marijuana helps so I take less pain medication, and helps with nausea n moods, PTSD, ect. I Love it. Just wish they had a discount for people on disability or social security. I hope soon.

My husband got a prescription, but monthly supply is not enough for his body weight for pain. Just too expensive, and he is going for traditional avenues that health insurance covers.
I visited all the dispensaries in New York and by far Etain is the best. Their dispensary staff are friendly and knowledgeably and the product is superior to all the others. When I compared prices, they were the most reasonable in the state. Where others use large packaging and dilute their product down to make it look as if you are getting more medication, Etain does its best to offer high quality unadulterated medication to their patients. I love Etains vape product it is a pure product rather than a product that has been diluted down with harmful chemicals.Other vape products on the market in NY contain Propolyne Glycol or coconut oils :( Overall a great experience

The staff was very friendly and inviting. As far as the products , theyre over priced. I have been a Medical Marijuana patient of New York State since April 2017. I can say Im very grateful to have access to Medical Cannabis. Each product I have tried (the cannabis vapes and capsules) work well. Although with all my years of self medicating with Marijuana, I believe that actual Cannabis flower is the best and most effective form of medicine. I believe that Cannabis flower can be highly beneficial to any one whos open to the use of cannabis, medical or otherwise. The following reasons are:•More tax revenue to help build schools and shelters•Different strains help treat different symptoms.•Having a bigger variety of cannabis product would mean a variety of price range which would attract more customers and help treat more patients.•Adding smokeable forms (Flower, Strains) would help attract and treat more customers. As most know different strains help with different symptoms. Some strains help with chronic pain as some help with anxiety, depression, PTSD. etc. Adding flower to the list could also help customers have a better understanding of what each strain does, which would be best for their needs as well as their budget. Having more products such as flower, concentrates and edibles would help expand the price range of products in dispensaries. As we see in states such as Colorado , their customers can go in knowing thats theres always product available to meet their needs as well as their budget. In New York State the dispensaries are absurd with their prices and their products are very limited: Ive been a Medical Marijuana patient since April 2017 (since chronic pain passed) and since my second visit I have no intention of returning. Not only was I disgusted by the fact that there were absolutely no flower products . I was highly disgusted by the prices of the products. 180$ for a not even half way filled cartridge of cannabis oil and thats for a large! 180 doses as it says on the prescription. I took 10-12 puffs a day and within 4 days the pen was done. I then tried the cannabis capsules which I only felt pain relief the first couple of days. From there I went from taking 2 a day to 3 thus 30 capsules wouldnt last me a month. With flower you have grams, eighths, quarters, halves, ounces etc. Im 22 years of age and Ive been an active marijuana user since I was 16. Through my years of self medicating with cannabis Ive learned how much my body needs to feel relief. I typically smoke a gram of cannabis a day. Very rarely will I smoke more than a gram unless my pain is more severe that day.Half a gram in the morning and half a gram before bed. I know off hand now that an ounce is ideal for my needs. This is why I believe having flower would not only benefit New York Medical Marijuana Dispensaries but help treat and interest more patients. Im sure of all New York States Medical Marijuana Patients would agree with the fact that New York dispensaries should be much more similar to those in the states of Colorado, Oregon and California. Again look at all the tax revenue Colorado has made!

2022-01-28Etain’s cartridges are superior in quality and flavor. I prefer the motif cartridges myself, but the 510’s work good also. I have tried so many different vapes over the years-the sour tangie vapes are awesome and unadulterated.

2021-12-29I enjoy coming to Etain, the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the products. I have been suffering from excruciating nerve pain due to neuropathy and sciatica. The Etain products relieve a great deal of the pain but more importantly the anxiety and finally a feeling of well being after months of suffering. Without the use of opiates!I have tried many of the products and along with the pharmacist. tried several new mixtures of the products. From CBD to THC and combinations.The process is simple. you just order on the website and then tthey text you when the order is ready for pickup.They have revamped the entire line as well as the newly renovated showroom.Its a pleasure dealing with Etain.Thanks 😊

2021-10-05Im a new patient to Etain of Kingston. I was nervous and kinda shy when I first visited but the Pharmacist & Staff just put me at ease. They were kind, warm and inviting. Also, knowledgeable about their different products. Each time I arrive, someone opens the door for me. I love that its totally handicap ♿ accessible! Ive now visited every 2 weeks for the past 2 months. I like the fact that you save $3.00 by simply bringing your bag back, which I always forget 😊. If you sign up, youll get discounts too! I just saved $35.00 two weeks ago! So, I definitely would recommend Etain!!!
