INCREDIBLE! I usually don’t post reviews but I was amazed by Eternity and had to do it. We went there for my grandma’s 91 birthday and she loves Indian food, so we decided to go to Eternity as it is our neighborhood restaurant.. and it was amazing! My grandma said she loved the flavors of the salmon dalcha and that she didn’t taste anything like this before! I personally loved the food and service too, as well as the rest of the family! Highly recommended, delicious food and kind staff.
Went here yesterday with my friends. And the food was amazing!! I really recommend the bamboo biryani!! Everything from their menu from appetizers to main course everything was perfect. The owner is very sweet and nice. She made sure we got everything! And the entire staff is so professional and kind. Great food with great atmosphere!
We had the most sublime, delicious lunch here today. Everything was top notch - the food, the service, the ambiance. We were even given 2 free watermelon mocktails to try, on the house.I had the chicken tikka sandwich and the beef strips and both were amazing. The fries that came with the tikka Sandwich were so amazing and spiced perfectly. Even my 2 year old son couldn’t get enough of them (as well as the Spicey Mayo!)The staff was warm, friendly and attentive and even gave my son some lights to play with. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! We are truly lucky to have this neighborhood gem.
Great local gem - very tasty food! Cauliflower for appetizer was crisp and sweet, paneer sticks were great too. Tried goat curry and fish curry for main course - also wonderful. Spicy enough to give dishes good flavor, but not too spicy. And mocktails are delicious! 10/10 would come back.
Food was excellent. Me and my husband tried deviled nargis kofta, chicken Tikka sandwich, and goat biriyani. We also ordered spicy pineapple margarita. Everything was delicious and unique. I loooved the biriyani. Ive tried biriyani from so many places but I was disappointed everytime. But the first bite of this biriyani made me feel heavenly. Do try the biriyani. We will definitely visit again. Keep the good quality guys.
It was our 1st time at Eternity, we loved everything. Specially all the moctails were 10/10, specificly the spicy margarita was delish. We went there with our family, staffs were very friendly and helpful. Definitely gonna come back often. Server Tan is super knowledgeable and helped us with everything. 🎉🎉🎉
Amazing little spot! I was looking for halal restaurants for a family dinner on Google Maps and came across this place. We ordered the wings, goat curry, butter chicken, and chicken biryani and everything was great. The mocktails were also delicious. Service was excellent! The server and the owners came over to look after us. I’d come back and I definitely recommend :)
Ok food. HORRIBLE SERVICE.We ordered our food (apps &entrees) at 7pm. First entree came out at 745, apps still not here. They brought out each persons food in 15min intervals. There was 5 of us. They even forgot one dish that was ordered and we asked multiple times on where it was. It never came. We asked for the check and no apologies were given. They have no clue on how the hospitality business is operated. This place MIGHT survive if their takeout business does well. As for the dine-in option, they should shut their doors as they will never get a returning customer with service like that. All this and they have the nerve to charge premium prices. Do not recommend. Will not return.
I went to Eternity as a reference from my friend and their food was awesome. I love Indian food and I have been to a lot of Indian Restaurants to say that their food is different and I have never tasted Indian food this good. I heard about Curry Awards in England, if there is any Curry Award for US, Eternity will be the top candidate. The service was excellent and owner was involved with every customer to make sure everyone is taken care off. I really like the way how informative they were about the waiting time for our food to be prepared and also gave us complementary Lassi. This tells you how much they care about the customers. Their mocktails are unique and I will definitely refer them. Don’t take my word for it, try their food and see for yourself. Keep up the good work
Mathew was a terrific server. Me and my fiancé didn’t like one of the items we ordered and he promptly replaced it. Afrin the manager went above and beyond to ask us about our experience and to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Really refreshing to receive such good customer service at a desi restaurant. Amazing job!We ordered the chilli 65 deshi wings. They were amazing. Tangy and mildly spicy. The creamy garlic basil chicken tandoori was not to our liking at all and our server Matthew took care of that right away and we ordered chicken tikka extra spicy which was yum. We also got the dum biryani. It was delicious and the rice was cooked extremely well. It did lack a bit of flavor compared to how i cook biryani at home. But Deff one of the best biryanis I’ve had at a restaurant. For bread we had the chilli nan which paired deliciously w the spicy chicken tikka. The prices were very fair.We will definitely be coming back to try the dum biryani. Once again kudos to the exceptional service we received from Mathew, Afrin and the rest of the staff!
Went for a lunch on a Sunday at 12 noon for 5 adults and 2 children. We were the only ones at the restaurant. After muted order taking, we placed simple orders: biryani, tikka, some somosas. We were informed that naan wasnt available due to a problem with the oven. Ok, no naan in an Indian restaurant, that can happen. We then proceeded to wait, and wait, and wait. During the first 15 minutes of waiting we noticed that the waiter had gone out and came back with some groceries from the supermarket across the street. Another 10 minutes passed and then the waitress did the same. Mind you, at this time the only thing we had on the table was water, and no interaction with the wait staff. Now we were about 30 minutes into our service, and nothing had left the kitchen yet. We asked if the food was coming, they said yes. Ok. We waited another 10 minutes and finally 3 somosas and french fries and 2 mango lassis made their way to our table. So, 35 minutes and we just got basic apps. We waited another 5 minutes and asked again if the food was coming and asked if there was a problem. No, the waiter told us the food was coming. No apology, no explanation. At this time there was ONE other customer, so we still were the only ones with any orders in. We waited another 5 minutes and then asked for the bill for the apps and the mango lassi, as the service was poor and the wait was inexcusable. The waitress informed me that All our orders take at least 45 minutes. Well, I guess we breeched some sort of protocol and still asked for the check. Waiting 45 minutes for Indian food, in Queens, where there are DOZENS of quality Indian restaurants who can get your food to the table in at least half that time, is ridiculous. We would have understood if the waiter had come around periodically and informed us that things are slow or sorry for the wait, but there was none of that. They actually never apologized and kind of looked shocked that we asked for the check. We were then at 55 minutes into service at the end, and still no sign of our main orders. Eternity needs to get their act together. Good luck
After looking at the amazing pics and reviews i ordered the chicken tikka sandwich plate. didn’t come with the fries but i was like it’s ok at least i can eat the burger but the second i took a bite it was like there was a rock inside. the chicken was so hard and moldy looking. definitely was not fresh. there was barely any sauce and the burger was dry. def would not recommend. if I could give them a 0 i would but that’s not possible so i give them 1 star.
Edited review: I tried the biryani again and I initially gave this restaurant 4/5 because the rice wasnt very flavorsome but today it was perfect. The curries were still fantastic as well. I like some of the new additions to the menu as it gives much more authentic indian meals than every other restaurant you will find in the country. Their rasmalai was fantastic as well, I never had dessert here but this is very authentic rasmalai and the sugar to milk ratio is perfect.Old review: I would give it a 4.5 if i could. i have eaten biryani many times but the one here was not too great. actually the meat was tasty and flavorsome but the rice tasted very much like cardamom and rosewater even though i didnt even find a cardamom pod. however, the curry here is fantastic. i got vindaloo and chicken tikka masala and both were amazing. actually i would say its even better than curries i have had in england which supposedly has the best modern indian food. the steak here is really nice too. good service and clean.
Decided to give this place a try but wow what horrible service, literally waited 2 hrs for our food which by the way was cold when we received it. No apology given, no acknowledgment. One dish or appetizer was brought out at a time every 20 mins and i was with a small group of 5. other people who sat before were served their food first. food was ok but after waiting so long didnt want to eat. they also never brought out items i ordered. We were never told they werent going to bring the items out they just kept saying coming shortly. such a bad experience will most likely never return. the servers are unexperienced, unaware and just horrible especially the female one who nearly elbowed my face while pouring the drinks. Save yourself a horrible dining experience and pass on this place. There are so many better and efficient Indian cuisines in the area!!—you can tell how unprofessional these individuals are by their responses to the honest and bad critics they get. Instead of choosing to improve their business they argue and threaten because they can not handle the truth. This industry is not for you. Everything i stated was 100% the truth, your hospitality and service SUCKS! Bottom line. Im not muslim nor Bengali not sure what that has to do with my freedom of speech. God bless you.
I seriously wish i could leave 0 stars. I dont like to leave negative reviews but my experience here was absolutely horrible.1. We came in and a group came after us. They were served their full meal, ate and left, before we even got ours.2. We were not served water until an hour into our visit and after asking several times.3. The food came sparodically with 80 percent of the food never coming at all after almost 2 hours of waiting.4. We told them we had an appointment to make several times and were actually made very late for it and were not even offered an apology or even a discount.5. They did not follow instructions. I asked that my apetizer come as my main course and with a side of naan. However, they bought it with the appetizer and no naan. We also told them we wanted seperate bills when we ordered but again, they seem to have missed these instructions. There is more but I hope this can be taken as constructive criticism to improve. Customer service and happy customers the only way your business can succeed. Learn how to apologize and get organized please. You ruined our appointment.
I had eaten at Eternity few months back and had an amazing experience with the food. The cumin filet mignon steak with shiitake mushrooms and mashed potatoes , salmon with squash was amazing. Since then I don’t know what happened. I just ordered delivery with Grubhub. The steak was a flank steak and they didn’t even send me the mashed potatoes. The steak was over cooked. The salmon and squash had wayyyy too much cumin tht I couldn’t even eat it. All the food was white washed. Very little Indian flavor and a lot of white people flavor. Or I should say flavorless. Lol.
I usually dont do reviews but I had to do this one. This was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had. The food came late, the food was terrible, the gave us curries (chicken, goat) which looked old (this was some left over may be from previous day) and tasted really bad. Food was cold exept the lamb chops. The owner Babu was there, he brought the food to us but with no order. He brought one dish at a time, brought curries first but no rice, no naan. After that, he never came to our table, even never said sorry to us until I asked for him lager on. We were 11 hungry people and barely ate anything and were very unsatisfied.
Went here on a Tuesday afternoon parking was easy (I’m sure different stories on weekends) and food and service was excellent. Waiter even threw in free fries for my toddler. I strongly recommend this for a nice eating atmosphere with either family or a special someone.
We were excited to try this place. We thought we would have a late lunch at 3:30. One table had diners so we went in. We were told the kitchen closes from 3-5. We returned a little after 5. The food was ok, not great. There was only one other table occupied when we arrived. We wondered if “Eternity” was to be an indication of when our food would arrive. It was a cloudy and cool day. The air conditioner was blasting cold air. We considered walking home to get jackets to stay warm, but thought we might miss the food. It turned out we could have easily done this and still not missed the delivery of our food. The wait staff, which seemed numerous, was not particularly friendly or attentive. Given that there was almost no one in the restaurant this seemed surprising. A return visit isn’t likely.
The food and service were very good but the portions were very small. The salmon was very small and it came without a side. One of the reviews shows a picture of the salmon but was definitely not the size of the salmon I got today. The steak was also very good but it was small and came with a very small side of mash potatoes.
It was an horrible customer service plus they were short on staff on weekend. Where they should double the staff. We waited for 50+ minutes to get appetizers first. We had to ask for water. We also ordered drinks it’s came out nasty. I wish I could be able to give 0 star. Don’t visit this place not worth at all.
I never write bad reviews but this one i had to. The worst indian food experience in recent times for me. I usually go out every week or so. And trust me Ive been to so many Indian restaurants and this by far is the worst one. Nice clean space for sure. Empty restaurant but it took close to an hour to get the food. Once the food arrive it all went downhill even more. No flavor whatsoever. Everything tasted sweet and not fresh at all. No body even bothered asking us how was the food. I guess that speaks volume. 3 people ordered 3 different dishes along with appetizers. And all 3 were a disappointment. If you are going to charge this much for the food, the least you can do is serve quality food to your customers. I hate giving someone a bad name but its best you avoid this restaurant and spend your money on quality food elsewhere.
AVOID !!! What a ridiculous and heinous experience at this restaurant tonight. Waited 30 mins just to be served water and a whole damn hour to get the appetizers. Inexcusable service. Eventually had to leave and get out of here. Never coming here. The management is cutting costs and it’s a disaster. Definitely not recommend at any cost. AVOID !!!
Party of 4 for early supper.Decided to eat their appetizers only.Ordered most of them. Frankie roll with goat stands out super delish, gol gappes spot on, nargisi kofta a nice take on a solid dish and paneer sticks.Their mocktails are outrageously fabulous. Next time Im sneaking in liquor to have a little fun.
I dont usually write reviews, stars are there for a reason, but this one deserves some words. Coming from a proud(!!!) millennial Karan this means something....* The ambience, top notch.* Instagram worthy drinks* Food was Amazing.* Sauces, let me tell you about sauces, the Chef apparantly can make water taste amazing if that was a sauce. So many flavors, yet its not overwhelming at all, and they enhanced the natural flavor of the protein without overpowering it in any scale. 10 stars for that* The team game is strong. We were a party of 17 adults and one kid on a FRIDAY NIGHT, ordered multiple appetizers and 18 mains with different side choices. Not one dish came out wrong. The meats were cooked right, each one of them. Everything came out of the kitchen almost together, no one had to wait and the best part was food temp was perfect meaning the back of the house crew calculated the cook times to ensure everything comes out together. That requires great skills. The experience was great, definitely will go again (maybe today to order some Hyderabadi Gol Gappe with that awesome sauce)
B.O.M.B Food, Drinks, Ambience and ServiceMetered parking usually available in front of restaurant. Very unique and modern twists to all entrees...and super tasty appetizers. Come through with your friends for an amazing lunch or dinner - you will not leave disappointed!
I went to Eternity this evening with my friend for my birthday and it was even better than I expected from looking at the well thought out menu. Everything was expertly prepared - authentic yet original. The atmosphere was sleek yet charming and the service was impeccable. This is an amazing addition to our neighborhood - cant wait to go back.
One of a kind. Imaginative modern interpretations using traditional spices, everything made fresh. My wife usually gets headaches after eating Indian food, but has had no problem here after two visits: probably indicates no MSG or preservatives.Their Mughlai goat curry has replaced Vindaloo as my favorite Indian curry, which its been for the last fifty years.
Service was great. Parking was no problem. Setting us comfortable. However, I wasn’t happy with how all of their entrees did not come with any sides..rice or naan or anything.. what am I supposed to eat my chicken tikka with?... food is over priced. Mocktails were on point.
Indian food has given the world amazing delicacy’s that genuinely can be enjoyed by anyone whether your having a simple yet delicious mirchi ka salan or your eating very traditional old style food like Hyderabadi chicken biryani the food truly speaks to you about the food and cuisine. thank you so much for a wonderful food me and friends enjoyed the food while eating.
Can’t explain in words how much I loved this place. The food and service was extraordinary.I ordered the chili gobi and shahi mushroom,it was so good it has perfect spicy level and flavor of it was something else.I am looking forward to dine in here in the future and thanks for the wonderful hospitality.I highly recommend to check this place out.

2022-04-03Amazing food. A great marination of spices. Its a true American and indian fusion. Flavourful but have a good control of spice level. They serve the level of spicy you want. Their drinks are awesome too.

2021-09-13It was a great Indian-style restaurant with great food, but pretty high prices. The restaurant itself is pretty small and has a very nice atmosphere with cool lighting and its especially nice when dining in the evening. They have a lot of mocktails to choose from. The only issue is that each drink is $10 and they dont do free refills so if youre willing to shell out $10 for a drink that doesnt even have alcohol in it, then go for it. The pina colada was great, but again, not sure if it was worth $10. If you have four people in your party, your bill will come up to $40 + tax, just with drinks. Its a lot, but they do have other drinks available, you just have to ask. I personally ordered a Coke which was as normal as Coke can get, but it had a lime slice on the glass which was a nice aesthetic touch. The Mughali goat was great, no complaints. It was cooked well and flavorful and the chilli cheese hot pockets and chili gobi were also perfect. The chilli cheese hot pockets were basically breaded fried pieces of this hot melty cheese, so it hits all the right spots as one might expect. Definitely a must-try if you visit. As for the malai garlic and curried orange habanero wings, I was just a little bit disappointed. Now dont get me wrong, as far as wings go, these were not bad, and they were both flavorful and definitely seasoned with Indian spices which you can easily taste, but my problem was that at its base, the two different flavored wings tasted exactly the same because they really are exactly the same. They were just sauced differently as one might expect, but when the sauce flavors are just drizzled on top instead of coated, you dont taste much of that additional flavor from the garlic or from the orange habanero. They just taste like the same wings with just a touch of flavor from their respective sauces. They certainly looked nice and have a nice presentation to them, but I expected a little more.My last thing to note is that they do have a single-person restroom, but it was not very clean (both the toilet and the sink area), and there was barely any soap as well and that is what ultimately lead me to my decision of rating the restaurant 4-stars. It is EXTREMELY difficult for me to come back to a restaurant when I notice that their restroom is unclean. My point of reasoning is that if a place that customers can see is unclean, I cant help but wonder what the kitchen might look like, a place where customers cannot see. Also, I understand that this may be harder for a smaller restaurant to do, but its 2021. It would be nice to have an automatic faucet to avoid touching the rusty knobs that everybody else is touching - especially in pandemic times.Cleanliness is always a significant part of my review score and for the restroom alone, I maybe still would have given the restaurant 5 stars, but when its coupled with the mediocre wings and high drink prices, I have to take away one-star with the hope that things improve. I plan to revisit again soon and update my review if necessary.

2022-03-23We visited for halal restaurants week NY. The service started off really good. The waitresses were friendly and personable but they became flustered for no reason. We were the only ppl in the restaurant. Then our orders started coming out in pieces. Noone got a full piece of their order. We came at 6:15pm and still didnt get our orders after 7:45pm. We ended up paying for our orders and asking them to just package our food to go. It took them another 20 minutes for them to do that. All in all... what we did get was ok. It wasnt anything to rave about but I think if the service had been quicker I would have felt differently about it.The pics are all we recieved and drinks.

2021-09-14My friend and I were walking around Kew Gardens & our favorite thai place was closed. So we took a detour and found this newer restaurant in our neighborhood. We walked in an hour before closing but they were so gracious to take us in and we had a table by the windows. The staff seem super chipper, friendly, and eager to please us. They were highly educated on the menu offerings and answered all of our questions with patience. (we are extremely indecisive). While being served we realized 1 of the gentlemen serving us was a part owner I believe his name was David. 😅… i forgot… extremely pleasant… we talked in depth about my delicious goat and my friends salmon. I loved the fried chicken wings especially with garlic sauce. Very new restaurant but I will be a frequent guest!!

2021-10-09Fantastic food and very friendly service, everything tasted amazing! We got the artichoke & asparagus masala big plate, garlic naan, smoked paneer sticks, and cumin peas rice. The cumin peas rice was so flavorful and delicious, my absolute favorite I have ever had.

2021-09-07Our host, Tanbir (The Tan) was very gracious in guiding us through the menu choices which we found so much more inventive than most routine Indian restaurants. We were even served delicious mocktails Sangria, Honeycom and the Spicy Pineapple Margarita. The Devilled Nargis Kofta had a tasty, spicy dipping sauce which gave it a kick. The Garlic Naan tasted fresh, not at all greasy. The tastes of every dish were truly elevated by unique spice blends. The Cumin Garlic Steak was so tender, the Atlantic Salmon Dalcha- so creamy on top of the dhaal. Tanbir guided us on appropriate appetizers and mocktails to pair with our meal. We cant wait to return to try the rest of the menu! Do ask for The Tan he knows what hes talking about!!

2021-04-29I am not really a review person but I will go extra miles for this little gem of a restaurant.Hands down, one of the best Indian food I have ever tried! Cocotails taste absolutely delicious and they really complement all the dishes we ordered. My friends were really hyped about how the food and drinks looked as everything was beautifully presented. The service was on point. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our millions of questions about the food were explained really well.We will definitely be back there very soon for our friends birthday party.Highly recommended! 👏👏👏

2021-08-10Heard good things about this new restaurant and had to try it out for myself. For drinks we had Spiced Pineapple Margarita, Watermelon Caipirinha, & The Honeycom. The mocktails were presented very nicely and are Instagram worthy. We enjoyed the watermelon and honeycomb the most, both were refreshing and not too overwhelming. For entrees, we got the Chicken Tikka Sandwich & Cumin Garlic Steak. The sandwich was served with fries, the sandwich was juicy and filled with a cabbage slaw. The sauce was great, as it enhanced the flavor. The steak was served with curried mashed potato and garam masala au jus (gravy). I’m not really a steak person, but this is one steak I would get again. It was very juicy and tender. Really liked the desi touch to the mashed potato (gave me Aloo Bhorta vibes) and gravy. The service was amazing, super friendly and welcoming staff.

2022-02-22Awesome food, delicious strawberry mojito, pina colada and spices pineapple margarita all non-alcoholic drinks.
