Tierany is the best!! I was very scared to get my first Brazilian and figured I would never do it again, but she made it as comfortable and painless as possible and I’ve now been returning to her for months. Super knowledgeable about what she’s doing and always a great conversation and experience with her. Definitely recommend her for any service here.
Jess is great! Usually I dread waxing, I fuss and whine before, during and after- because it’s pretty painful. Jess was understanding and gentle, plus she provided me with the reassurance I needed.The center is very clean and professional. Thank you.
2 out of 3 waxes from them . So far so good !! Had experiences with both Georgia and Carolyn who were both nice and great at their jobs. They do a great job following COVID-19 safety guidelines and keeping you happy at the same time .**Update: Guiliana is my current go to girl and has been for a while. Very smart and good at what she does.
Carolyn is the absolute besttt. She’s one of the sweetest and most friendly people I’ve ever met. She makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed you actually look forward to coming back and waxing. The experience is always so quick and painless. So happy I found her😂❤️

My first time getting a Brazilian wax. Was not as painful as I expected. The staff is friendly and professional. The place is extremely clean. Michelle A was fabulous and wonderful. She explained everything in detail. Definitely going back to her.
I took my mom to get her lip and chin waxed. The girl Brielle who removed her hair was a little insensitive to my mom who is very sensitive and was so upset that it hurt so much... ouch!I was annoyed that she didnt finish the job because she was supposed to have her eyebrows waxed on the same appt. Please be careful and professional!! 🙏🥴
These people who work there are extremely rasista at level 100, there is a girl who has touched me twice, her name is Caroline, she looks at you with a disgust face and talks to you with a terrible attitude and gestures, I would never go back to a place like this where they discriminate so much against a woman. person and that his staff is not acting to deal with people but with animals
I usually have an AMAZING experience with Brielle (Brianna) and Andrea. They are both very pleasant, professional, and diligent when doing their jobs. The reason why I am giving this location 1 star is due to the atmosphere when management is absent. The racism and discrimination demonstrated to people of color by Lexi the receptionist on 3/1/2020 around 10:35 am was distasteful and heartbreaking. I requested to speak with the manager whom is very pleasant but was informed that she was absent. I have forwarded this complaint to cooperate where I will go into further details surrounding the events that occurred on 3/1/2020 in order to ensure that NOTHING like this ever happens again to anyone. SHAME ON YOU...
They were able to get me in on a SATURDAY which was amazing. Brianna is very helpful at the front desk. Andrea waxed me and she is so kind and caring. We talked my vacation plans so I wouldn’t feel a thing. I highly recommend Andrea!!!!!!
This place is absolutely amazing. I recommend going to Nel! It was my first time and she made me feel beyond comfortable. Gave breathing techniques and everything. & it was quick. I’m super happy with my results and the specialist too!If you go, reserve with Nel you won’t be disappointed!
Nel is the best!! I dont normally write reviews but I went in today for a bikini wax after seeing her reviews online. She made me feel so comfortable and taught me a breathing method so I wouldnt feel that much pain. I will definitely be going back there for her.
Tierany made my first experience at the EWC Yonkers a memorable experience. Tierany was professional, engaging and extremely knowledgeable about waxing. She has an amazing talent to keep you relaxed during your journey. I highly recommend her services for both first timers and the experienced. Will be returning to work with Tierany again!
I’ve been coming to this specific location for about 6 months. Nel did my first Brazilian and she did a phenomenal job.She’s very professional and patient! She walked me through everything and even gave my breathing techniques.The establishment is very clean and inviting and the Front Desk Ladies Are polite.When I go for a Brazilian or Underarm; I only see Nel!
I posted a review about a year ago that thos buisness decided to take down so their rating looked better and it isnt the first time. This is why the only 1 star reviews they have do not even have explanations.They also like to claim the the reviews are false but I have actual credit receipts from the packages that show I was a customer and phone bills to show when they called to confirm my appointments.. Heres my reviewIll never go back to this location. I lost my credit card so they were unable to bill me for a package, which was services I havent even received yet. When I called to make and appointment and obviously update my card upon arrival I spoke to a receptionist called Julia who was very nasty and sarcastic and conveniently no manager or supervisor was around. When I told them that I would be going to another location she told me that was not possible until I paid her first which I didnt understand since they are all the same company. I have been a customer of EWC for quite some time and have spent a lot of money here and today was totally unacceptable! Do yourself a favor and go to another location. I have been to 3 and this one has got the worse customer service thus far! Stay away from the packages totally not worth the stress !! Was never contacted by a manager .
I come here all the time and Jess is amazing. Shes patient and keeps me laughing the whole time so I dont ever feel pain. I followed her from another location. Love her!
I’ve been coming here for about 4 years now. I love waxing at this location. The ladies are so knowledgeable. I always purchase the package. If you’re looking for a place that holds their word to their appointments, don’t take forever, and each employee is consistent, this is the place to go.
First time get waxed at EWC love the waxer Tierany. The mobile check in process was very convenient and super easy.From the very beginning she explained everything to me about the four step process. Made me feel very comfortable and super informative about after care. Will definitely be going back!
I just had my Brazilian wax done for the first time. I chose to wax with Nel based on the reviews I read on Google and she was AMAZING!! She talked me through every step and I didnt feel a lot of pain. I also took 2 advil a half hour before the wax. Nel is great and I will be back!
Today I had my first brazilian wax at this location. It was the most unpleasant experience not because of the pain but because of how rude the waxer was. She made me extremely uncomfortable. When entering the room she proceeded to be on her phone without advising me what to do. She seemed frustrated that I was tense while being waxed. Keep in mind this was my first time and she didn’t advise me to do anything while being waxed. Ive been told in the past when being waxed the waxer usually does a count down or do a certain breathing technique to make the experience better. As she waited for the wax to dry, she would text in between. She didn’t talk to me, I kept trying to make conversation with her. I couldn’t even focus on the pain because I was in shock that I was already in an uncomfortable situation and she wasn’t making me feel any better. Also, she gave me no follow up or aftercare instructions, she just told me I was done and to get dressed. She seemed like she was having a bad day and took it out on me. DO NOT RECOMMEND ANDREA!
Staff is super friendly and professional. Could not wait for them to reopen and their covid procedures to keep staff and guests safe are very impressive. Not only do I love this location but I also TRUST them, which is more important now more than ever. Highly reccomended.
Debbie is AMAZING , almost completely painless with Brazilian wax, and Totally Painless with the rest of my body.My only complaint is that this location doesnt provide any type of wet wipes to freshen up your cooch, if youve been on the go all day, before getting the Brazilian wax service.... ( and there isnt any paper towels in bathroom, just the hand dryer ).... I go to The Yonkers European Wax center location.Debbie is THE BEST !!!!!!

I was EXTREMELY disappointed about my experience yesterday. I have been going to European Wax Center for at least 5 years. And I never had a negative experience. I have not gone to the Yonkers location in about 1 1/2 years because I started to frequent another location that I love! The waxer that I would request in Yonkers no longer works there, so I was given to someone that have never waxed me before. Her name is Heather and she was awful. Granted it had been some time since my last wax, but have never gotten complaints from a waxer or was told that my request cannot be fulfilled. She also did not complete the job. Because of her poor performance I didnt feel inclined to make another appointment. I highly doubt I will ever return to the Yonkers location.
I love this Location Nel is my fav she not only does a great job but, also makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. I will recomend her to everyone. She gets everything and gives good pointers on taking care of yourself.
The absolute best. Sabrina is so lovely! She makes you feel absolutely comfortable having your lady bits exposed. Youll never shave again. The best!
Had my 1st eyebrow wax done today and it was great. Christina did the wax and she was very nice and took her time. Did my eyebrows at one place for 6 yrs and had to find new place since the place I was going to closed. 1st was is complimentary and found out the brow wax is $21, little pricey but worth it.
Would never go back. First off, the receptionist at the front desk was rude. After I handed her my ID, she threw it on the desk when returning it to me. Her face and aura was just dry and uninviting. Sorry I didnt get her name or I would put it on blast here. Shes lighter toned with curly hair I believe. If youre going to have such an angry and unwelcoming disposition, dont be a receptionist Nobody is forcing you to be there and customers dont deserve to experience your rude ass.Secondly, the person who did my eyebrows, her name is KIARA Absolutely horrible. I grew them out for a long time and she messes them up completely. Left my right brow with barely anything and they were both uneven and crooked. Train your people on what they are doing. If they dont cut it, have 5th em do other things or cut them loose. Very disappointed. Will definitely not be coming back. Let her do your eyebrows at your own risk.
Nel is the absolute BEST!!!!! I got my 1st Brazillian. I was nervous as hell. Nel made me feel so comfortable. She got me to relax and she did a wonderful job. I will definitely be back to see her and I will be referring EVERYONE to go to her. If you are looking for someone good, Nel is better than good, she is outstanding. There is no better than her.
These ladies are so nice and professional. My favorite is Nel. She makes sure you look and feel perfectly flawless 😊 Visit this location although I have another one closer to me just for her.
I Miss Lauren tremendously she made me feel so comfortable and not self-conscious. I have not felt much comfort with some of the other girls. I wish Lauren would come back to Yonkers.
A friend of mine suggested I try European Wax, after I told her about a recent horrible Brazilian wax. While European wax is more expensive than most places, I can tell you its worth every single dollar. Every person I have dealt with has been personable, caring and professional. I would suggest it to anyone and everyone.

2022-06-22The establishment was clean and welcoming. The receptionist was very polite and friendly. I saw some great reviews about Jess so I booked with her. She was really friendly and made me feel comfortable. She made my 1st Brazilian wax session a breeze. I would highly recommend her. I was in and out within 20 minutes.

2021-05-07So when i got to my appointment. i was 2 min away from my grace period ending and the receptionist at the desk tried to tell me i couldn’t go to my appointment even tho the grace period didn’t end. And the lady i had was wonderful 10//0 she was great and a sweet heart and her service was awsome! However on the way out the receptionist asked me if i tipped my lady and in my opinion that’s not any of her business to ask me & something you don’t ask clients. That’s something that’s between the client and the lady providing the service, Did not like her attitude.

2021-08-06I have been coming to this location for a few years now and for the most part have always had a great experience. The waxing specialist have always been great. Recently the last two times I visited the yonkers location the experience with front desk has been subpar. I had an appointment today at 7:15 granted I was about 6 minutes late but still had a few minutes for the grace period to be over. The receptionist told me because I was late I would not be able to be seen given the waxing specialist was busy with someone else which made no sense to me as either she was running late or someone showed up early and were taken to the back. Regardless I explicitly stated i thought the grace period was nine minutes to which she completely ignored and again repeated I would not be seen and needed to reschedule. Which i relunctantly agreed to as I was not in the mood to argue and she didnt seem to care much for customer service. Unfortunately this is the closest location to me. Management really needs to work on improving these associates customer service skills.

2021-07-30This location has canceled my appointment on me on three different occasions, two of which were totally last minute. The first time it was TEN MINUTES before my appointment and mind you I was already on the way there. The second time it was about an hour before. It’s completely unacceptable to cancel on a customer so last minute and not even try to accommodate for the inconvenience. Everytime they canceled on me I called and asked if I could still come that day and they were rude and said no. If there was another EWC in the area I’d 100% go there instead.
