Have a lot of hardware choices very expensive though
Great local hardware store with a wide selection of the things a home handyman needs. The employees are always there with friendly advice and getting in and out of the store is quick and efficient.
So many items , when you need it they got it!
You go into store, looking for something they have advertised, and of course its not in stock. You ask for a rain check on the sale item, get told you have to pay for it now but wait two months for product to come back into stock. I believe I should have gotten a rain check for sale item since they didnt even have any in stock to begin with.
Staff are always ready to help you, and if youre a DIY type there always willing to help you with and alternative way should you need it.
The woman at the counter would not sell me the item at sales price. When I pointed out she charged me full price, her response was you want to make a big deal over $2.00. This was the ace located in medina ny.
Great store and great employees!! Needed a bunch of keys and paint and the employees Travis, Dominic and Tyler came through in the clutch.
They have everything youd need just about including things nobody around has like carbon brushes, ball bearings, all kinds of springs and thats just the odd ball stuff. They had all the parts for me to make a one way check valve.
Judy was very helpful and a wonderful person to help me with all I needed to get.the hole staff was very nice.
Always amazed at the number of products in this store. If you need something, look here first.
Great little hardware store!
Ordered a swing online said online they had it in stock for curbside pickup today called about 4 hours later and they dont have it now I have to go and contact customer service to get a refund stick with Lowes and home depot ace hardware is a joke
Online said there were 3 outdoor swing. Headed out to medina and 0 when I got to store, made trip to albion.

They took back an item with no problem and was very helpful. Also I love that they are a drop off for UPS for shipping.
The young female manager wasnt very friendly. She also flies through the parking lot and almost hit me.

They only get 3 stars. Not all that friendly. They dont allow my Boston Terrier. Ill go to Albion Ace they welcome my Boston, and all know her by name.
Kind courteous quick to respond when you walk in the door extremely helpful they are very kind to their customers they take turns to explain every aspect of the product to you and help you find an alternative if you need it

Staff was knowledgeable and knew the store product locations. More so than the random employee in a big box store.
Unless you know exactly what your looking for be preparedbtinfind it by yourself, Jess you can snag an associate to ask and even then most have no idea how to help.

2021-11-22This place has made a complete 180° turn from being overly helpful and fantastic, to no help whatsoever.we walked in there were two ladies talking in front not sure if they worked there or not so we went looking for are self then being unsuccessful we looked for help and asked if they worked here they said yes asked are question and didnt have a clue to what we were talking about so we continued looking and finally found what we wanted with no help whatsoever.

2019-11-02Love the store and employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. They have things you likely wont find anywhere else. Some things are competitively priced but a lot is also double the price vs most other hardware stores. So far they have price matched for me except when the double priced items. Last two times I tried I was told a manager needs to do it and both times a manager wasnt around$20 wire strippers @ Ace vs $11 anywhere else.

2020-01-15Service and knowledge big box stores don’t have. Online app is a great tool even lets you check stock. I found an odd product I needed for a very old house, had to order in, they made it easy. Showed me the part on computer ordered and was in the next day. They called to tell me it was ready. I like the idea of shopping local, but in Medina it’s shopping better too.

2020-05-02I needed several locks keyed all the same way and Grant really went out of his way to make sure that everything was done correctly and on time. The service at Ace hardware and Medina is great and theyre always super friendly and willing to help. I have also never had an issue with having to return something that was wrong or I didnt need.

2020-11-24Curbside pickup? No. We called 3 times ( was disconnected) once and asked them to prepare an orderof wood on 11/23/20, they said they would do it. When we got there 2 hours later the order wasnt ready and the people working there didnt know anything about it. We told our contractor about it and he said the same thing happened to him. If you want us to use your local business instead of the big box stores, Evans Ace, work on your customer service.
