100% pleased with my first visit to evolution hair design.Taylor, you did an amazing job. I am never happy when I leave a salon because of the styling of my thin fine hair....you did fabulous. My mom is very pleased also.

I was looking all over the area for a hairstylist to go to and I couldnt be happier with this place. I was nervous to let anyone touch my hair but these people made me feel right at home. I got a lot done Including color so I spent about 6 hours there. In that time I seen many amazing artist at work here and everyone left happy. I had Jenna do my hair and I loved every minute of it. I first contacted them through Facebook messenger and they made sure to book me appointment that week and get enough information from me to be prepared. If you are looking for simple or complex hair styles for all genders, this is the place for you!! I will never go anywhere else as long as Im in New York State.
Amazing cuts. One side is the barber (Chris), who is very talented and thorough. The other is a full salon (Jenna), who has already generated a cult following, with good reason. Whichever side you get cut on, you will be very happy you stopped. They can make any head and hair type look great. Warm and comfortable environment to boot. Pricing is very fair. Recommend calling ahead as the evenings can be quite busy!

I get my hair cut and colored by Jenna and my eyebrows done by Christina. They both do an amazing job. The salon is always relaxing and comfortable. It’s a great experience.
I got my Keratin treatment done. It was waste of 250 bucks as I did not see any change in my hair. Not even 10% change.The staff was professional and courteous but the service was useless.
One of the best decisions Ive made since moving to the area was taking advice from a work friend to go here. The guy there is an expert and will really work to get the perfect cut. They were super accommodating and even stayed open a few extra minutes to finish the job. Very talented, friendly and lower price than most chains around here.
I love it there, I’ve always struggled getting my hair to look a white blonde without any gold undertones and Christina did an amazing job at achieving exactly what I wanted! She really takes her time on her craft and I couldn’t be happier with my results!
This barber shop was the first I went to when I moved to Binghamton. And Ive gone there for a haircut everytime since. Sarah does an awesome job and is great to talk to. I definitely recommend going. And the prices are less then what Im used to so thats a plus

Always get my hair done here, and it always comes out great. Which is much more than I can say for most hair-shops within the price range. I always tip big because its WORTH it.

Scheduled an appointment multiple days in advance. Showed up early and the hair stylist said I would have to wait 30 minutes. Poor service, do not plan to return.
My hair was pinkish red want chocolate brown with blone highlites needless to say my hair is darker but really no highlites cost 130 this is trial and error but I will not be back I could have did this with a box dye

Went in for a haircut and razor shave and chris the barber hit it out of the park. The place is nice clean and he was very proffesional i highly recommend them and I will be taking the whole family there from now on.

2022-07-19Overpriced for what you get. I showed the girl a picture asking if this was achievable and she said yes. It wasn’t as blonde as I wanted or even close to the picture I showed her. It’s still pretty. Been to other salons and got the same thing for half the cost. Was hoping to find a new salon since my girl moved. Not worth it. I also just wanted to leave the store because it took forever because the girl kept going in the back to eat her food. I wish I read the recent reviews before I decided to go in. I also did not want to say to the girl this is not what I asked for.

I have been to other salons in years past and never leave completely satisfied, Jenna and all of the girls at this salon do quality work!

2022-03-21I recently got my hair done here. I went from blonde to strawberry blonde. The color wasnt what I wanted but I looked nice so I didnt say anything. The color washed out within three days. She also gave me a trim but for some reason all of my split ends are still there? While she was giving me my trim she had me faced away from the mirror so I didnt actually see her cut my hair. I did ask her to take off only an inch so I didnt notice she didnt cut it until after I got home. It was very close to closing so Im assuming she just wanted to go home which I understand but I paid over $300 dollars for a horrible job. Im extremely disappointed about my experience and would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

2018-05-29I absolutely love it here! Jess cuts and colors my hair and she is phenomenal! The environment is friendly and the clients range in age, always looking fabulous when they leave. The prices are very reasonable for the services you receive. I would highly recommend stopping in for your next haircut!

2019-05-02It is very hard to find a hard working salon in this area. I’ve lived around here and bouncing from one salon to the other trying to find one that listens to there clients, and puts in the effort, while staying open, is very hard. After meeting and talking to one of their stylists, Christiana, I felt confident I was going to get what I wanted and be taken care of. She explained everything she was doing and the rest of the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable! I can’t wait to go back, coming here will definitely be a new routine for me! I can’t wait for my next appointment :)

2019-04-13If your wanting to get your dream hair, then look no further than Evolution. I travel two hours just to have Jenna color and cut my hair and it’s worth the trip every time. She is so talented, knowledgeable and patient. No matter the color or cut I present to her, she works her magic and I am amazed and so pleased every time. The salon is clean and has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is very professional and importance of quality is apparent. I noticed the gentlemen also get really nice cuts on the barber side.

2018-03-09I went with my sister and niece to get their hair done. My sister had a purplish with a hint of a lighter purple. My niece has her tips done, purple & blue. Christina did AMAZING. She juggled my sister, my niece and myself. And did WONDERFUL on both colors. Christina was amazing. She was very friendly and very informative. Within this process I had my very first lash extensions done. She was patient and very talented and all the work she preformed for us. I could not have asked for a better experience. Barbershop also, was very good! He cut my 3yrs hair and he was also very patient and friendly. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for talented work.
