It was a long day but the movers were pretty surly by the end. Afterwards we found they had ripped an oriental rug and damaged a large mirror but didnt say anything. I was put in touch with the so-called insurance and havent heard a thing despite multiple attempts in over a year.----Update---Wow, they did the exact same thing to me with the tip, basically trying to shake me down for more money. Would not recommend.
I would give these guys 6 stars if I could. They were awesome. We booked them for a mid-distance move (NYC to MD). They are actually flat rate- meaning that once we agreed on a price, it wasnt gong to change even if the move took longer that expected, or if we had more stuff that we originally estimated (which always happens). They were on time and efficient. We had them pack for us too, which was well worth it. They were honest too - my husband left an old wallet in a drawer and they handed it to him. I cant recommend excellent quality movers enough.
These guys were fabulous from the moment of setting up an appointment and until the very last minute of the move. I usually dont post reviews but I was deeply impressed by the job they did for us. EQ moved us all the way to Austin, TX from Staten Island, NY. These guys were not the cheapest but rather unique in the service they offered. They do not subcontract any long haulers or any other companies to finish the long distance move. The same crew that visited us and packed our house in New York was the same crew of people who were unloading our stuff in Austin. Id call this a white glove moving experience which was worth every penny spent. Nothing was lost, went missing, got damaged or broken. The crew disassembled, delivered and reassembled an entire 3-bedroom house. I highly recommend this company! Thank you a lot! A+++
We used Excellent Quality Movers for our recent move to Scotch Plains (NJ) from Long Island City (NY). this company took the stress of the move day away and performed a full packing/unpacking service for us. The entire project took a bit over 9 hours to fully pack and move our 2 bedroom apartment into a private house. Their competitors proposed to do a two days move (and obviously wanted to charge us more) while WQ processed us in a single day. Everything was quick and professional, these guys know their job and safely moved all our fragile items(vases, marble table, glassware, mirrors, etc.) with no loss. Thanks for the service, highly recommend.

Crew helped me recently with moving commercial space within NYC. I m super satisfied with the service. It was 2 huge trucks + 8 men project and EQ was able to provide me with a bargain price offer compared to the other companies(ended up almost twice cheaper in the end then the other quotes). Company took great care while disassembling/ reassembling our furniture and everything was done in a single business day, which was astonishing due to the size of the project. Nothing got broken, these guys are professionals. Thank you a lot. Will definitely use again with the future business and personal needs.
I would highly recommend EQ Movers after working with them for our move within Brooklyn. Sergei was very helpful on the phone and explained that while they bill hourly, this is to save the customers money and he all but guaranteed their final bill would come well under the other companies who had quoted us a flat rate. Sure enough, they ended coming in several hundreds of dollars below the other estimates! And we couldnt have been happier with the team and the service we received. KZ was our lead mover and he was such a sweet guy, and very efficient. The 4 movers were all courteous and professional, and finished the job in much less time than I expected! Dont get fooled by another company - these guys are great and most importantly honest and kind. A+
I worked with Alex and his team to move my Nolita Apartment to a storage unit in Brooklyn. The biggest challenge for my move was that I was outside of the US during the move and all I could do was to ask a good friend of mine to be present in the apartment while Alexs team packed and moved everything for me. I was anxious about the whole thing since I wasnt there myself however I am extremely grateful that I picked Alexs company for my move. They packed everything with care, asked every single small detail to my friend and got his confirmation on what to do about, properly packed the disposal items and carried everything from my 6 floor walk up apartment. I feel super lucky that I came across to Excellent Quality Movers and would recommend them 10/10 to anyone. They are very professional on every detail such as bringing blankets (for your purchase), tv packing, mattress wrapping, all kinds of boxes for your clothes, bed sheets, towels, books or really any other ancillary items. They left the apartment in broom clean condition which was my landlords request and the team had no hesitation to do it for me. I’ve used EQ movers twice now - once for a local NYC move, and the 2nd in a cross-state move (5hrs away). Max and his crew were super fast, efficient, and everything got to my new place in perfect condition. I’ve used 2 other moving services, but you really can’t beat EQ on both price and value.
Be warned: if they break your stuff nothing will happen. I hired them to move twice. The first time they did fine. The second time they broke several pieces of furniture and when I complained they sent me to a movingclaims company which is an absolute Kafkaesque nightmare of a site / process meant to break you down and give up. At the end of that basically impossible process the claim arbitrator decided I was owed even less than their own insured per pound rate—but EQM hasn’t actually sent a check for that. It’s been over a year and they are just hoping I forget.
EQ moved me the other day, and I am so grateful. The experience was terrific overall: the service was on time, the movers worked their tails off in 100 degree heat, and the foreman stayed on top of everything. I would 100% have them move me again. Also, I wildly underestimated the volume of stuff I needed moved, and the guys handled it all with grace and incredible speed!
We moved our 4bdr house from Hershey PA to Minneapolis MN with EQ. We stressed out a lot and this was a huge project that took lots of men power and multiple trucks. So far I know these guys are the only ones that I found who can do a direct service. Same crew of people served us during the entire project and trucks headed directly to the destination. No truck trailers or other companies were involved. They picked us up on Monday and delivered all the belongings the next day around 7PM. I would definitely recommend to go with this company. Not a single item was lost or stolen, 10 out of 10. Thank you.
Affordable and easy moving experience!I recently moved from Brooklyn to Philadelphia. I spoke with a lot of moving companies and Excellent Quality Movers’s rate were much more reasonable, I felt comfortable to hire them to the job.On the day of the move. Jack call to ask if I want to do it and hour earlier than it was scheduled. It was happy surprise for me and I said yes!Everyone was so speedy and organized that everything in my apartment was moved Into the truck within one in a half hour!The total was estimated + tips, it’s still was less than other companies rates without even tips! Absolutely happy If the excellent service from excellent quality movers and the next time I move, I know who I’m calling.
We had previously used tie company for a house move and called them again to move our gelato shop. We had very heavy and very sensitive equipment and the 4 amazing guys that handled the move did so with the utmost care. They were efficient, courteous and professional. If we ever move again, we will call them.

I used Excellent Quality Movers and they were fantastic. They showed up five to ten minutes before the estimated arrival time which was great to get going early! We needed to stop at two apartments (both walk ups 5th and 6th floor walk ups!) and they didnt miss a beat. They were very fast and respectful of your things during the entire process. I was very impressed and the price is fantastic for the kind of work EQ movers do.I highly recommend them.

We had a fantastic experience with Excellent Quality Movers! They were very efficient and conscious about my furniture and glass items. As a collector of antique porcelain dolls, I had many fragile items that were handled with great care and not one items was damaged during our move. I would definitely use them for my next move and highly recommend them to everyone!
I just used Excellent Quality Movers for a big move, including packing all of our stuff. I was very satisfied with the honesty and transparency of the process (it didnt cost a dime more than was quoted to me), professionalism and care of the moving crew, and the simple fact that the guys who moved me were polite, nice people. I found the company based on the strength of their Yelp reviews and really appreciated that they lived up to them. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to friends.

I just had this company move me into my new apartment yesterday. I was very anxious about the move with this being my 4 time moving in NYC - but as soon as they arrived, I felt instant relief. Do yourself a favor and hire this team!Sergei gave me an easy break down of the process and cost via email, answered all my questions and we scheduled the move.The team lead by Timur was fast, professional and straightforward. They arrived at my place early, we went over the contract and they immediately got started. They were very careful with my things and were very mindful of time. They had all the tools needed and extra packing materials boxes in case I needed them. They took apart my furniture, wrapped it up and put it all back together in the new place. The move took about 7 hours; their rates are fair and accurate, very straightforward. I will definitely hire them again for my next move.

My wife and I used EQ movers to move from Brooklyn, NY to New Haven, CT. This was the only good experience weve ever had with a moving company. Sergei was very patient with my questions and was very quick in his correspondence. Two days before the move he checked in to confirm that everything was still on and the time we requested was still good for us. The movers showed up on time, were super nice and so professional. I cant speak on how the other movers are at EQ but Igor, Vitaliy and Vahan were just incredible and we feel so lucky to have had them work with us. Everything was taking care of as if it was their own. Nothing got broken they were so efficient and got us in New Haven in no time. Everything was moved in and put back together in the correct rooms. The nicest guys and the only good moving experience weve ever had. This company is fantastic and fairly priced.
Within minutes of the crew getting started all of my moving stress was gone because I could immediately tell this was a professional and reliable group of people.Alex D. and crew packed our unpacked items, wrapped our furniture, and did assembly/disassembly where needed. They got everything through narrow doors and many steps without any damage whatsoever. They were also super efficient and did a flawless job!
These guys are fantastic! I got several quotes from other companies before opting for Excellent Quality Movers. They dont offer a quote but state the hourly rate for 3 movers. This was much much lower than quotes from rival companies and I admit I was nervous that this would lead to a leisurly attitude to stretch out the time they took. I was so wrong! The guys were fantastic. Punctual, pleasant, careful, but very fast and efficient. The entire experience including first contact with Jack who broke down the cost structure and quickly answered any questions, was excellent. Will definitely use again and would recommend highly.

Every other mover was more expensive and wanted 2 days to complete the task. Sergei came over gave a great price and said he would have it done in 1 day. It seemed too good to be true, but the reviews are excellent, so we went with him.I have to say, they could not have done a better job. They were waiting outside the building at 6:35am so they could start at 7. They packed the apartment. Exercised great care with my father’s things and were very pleasant to interact with. By 12:30 they were on the road and by 8:30 my dad was fully moved in to his apartment in Maryland. Beautiful.Dont be unnerved by the few bad reviews. They are probably phony reviews or they just like to complain. We experienced no issues, no surprises, no upcharges. Just fantastic across the board. THANKS SERGEI!

I moved with EQM in May 2019. Pick up went great, guys showed up on time, covered furniture using blankets, tape, plastic covers. Moving is always stressful, moving within Manhattan is a hell! But with Excellent Quality Movers is was good experience overall, as good as it can be=) no damage, they r very friendly, quick and professional. Highly recommend.

I just finished a move with EQ Movers.The quote was straightforward.I was nervous about moving and asked tons of questions, Jack( one of the salesmen) was friendly, respectful and answered all my questions.Four guys and huge trucks moved me from my 2 bedroom condo on the second floor, to a 3-story townhouse.The gentlemen were Excellent! They wrapped furniture carefully with blankets and plastic wrap. They were able to wrap and place hundred bulky items into the track soo fast! Overall, EQ Movers exceeded my expectations! Im very happy that I have selected Excellent Quality Movers fo this job! I would hire them again and recommend to everyone!
Booked EQ movers for a long distance NYC->Chicago move with packing option. They were the only company Id spoken to with a firm arrival date at the destination (which happened to be the next day). Very efficient at pickup (about 4 hours for a 2 b/r with packing), similarly quick at drop off with fewer guys. Nothing missing or broken, well labeled boxes for unpacking later on. Everyone was polite and good at their job and the process was hassle free (no tedious volume calculations with visual inspection, etc). Would definitely recommend. A+
Excellent Quality Movers were professional and great to work with from start to finish. Jack was polite and easy to talk to over the phone during the quoting phase and followed up immediately with email confirmation of everything. I think I received an email response within five minutes of every email I sent. The movers showed up promptly (15 minutes early), worked efficiently and capably and were generally great and extremely helpful. They were done early so they helped us move lots of other little things and that was above and beyond the call of duty. We are so glad we found this company!
9 years ago this company was referred to me and we just used them again last week and it was just as amazing!! If you think moving day has to be a stressful or bad day, it wont be if you use them! You will trust them 100% and be 100% happy you used them. They are so fast and efficient its insane, super nice and professional. And dont worry about them moving slow to rack up hours, that is not how they work. They are so quick you dont even know what happen. Once they roll up to your new place they literally place everything right where you want it, every single box and piece of furniture. Do yourself and them a favor, before they arrive to the new place to unload stuff, know where you want things to go, it will be so much easier for them to swiftly move about and get everything done. Honestly I have nothing negative I can say. Also Jack was extremely helpful, very nice and always communicating with me when I had questions or needed anything. Hands down stress free pleasant move. Yep, its possible...if you call the right people😉

In general, moving is a terrible process that no one looks forward to. You have to pack all of your lifes possessions only to unpack them again in a few hours. You hand over everything you own to people youve never met, while maintaining a faint hope that they will not break anything, steal anything, or overcharge you.My experience with Excellent Quality Movers was the polar opposite. Everything went perfectly - from the scheduling process, to the move, to the paperwork and payment. Scheduling the move was as simple as one email to Excellent Quality Movers with an inventory of everything I own. Sergei responded quickly with a detailed list of prices and fees, all of which were very clear. Once I agreed to the costs, Sergei immediately scheduled my move date at my requested time.The movers showed up 15 minutes early on my move day, which is a pleasant surprise. There were three men in total. I had a very small move. They packed the entire truck within 1 hour. At one point, someone walking by tried to steal my backpack that was in an open moving box on the street (while the movers were standing there). The foreman immediately alerted me and held the guy until I was able to recover my backpack. It was really nice of them to care as much as they did.The total move was around 2.5 hours. The price they quoted me (including fees) was exactly the cost of the move. There was no surprises, which is the last thing you want at the end of the move. One note - if you pay in cash instead of a credit card, they charge slightly less - you save around $5 per $100 of your move.The Excellent Quality Movers team was extremely professional, punctual, polite, and got the job done extremely quickly. I will definitely use them again for my next move.
Would NOT recommend. Broke my furniture and took 2x as long as promised. Would not leave my apartment after because they were trying to get more of a tip - felt incredibly unsafe and had to call neighbors over to get them to leave. Spent $1200 on single person move only 8 minutes away.
Update- Used these guys again (July 2020) and had another amazing experience! This time I had Kazylek’s team and they were wonderful. Showed up early, all so nice, respectful, professional, and ready to work! Thank you guys for making another move of mine quick and easy (amid a hot 90 degree summer day and wearing masks!). Best company!From May 2019:These guys were so so so wonderful!!! I moved out of my parents’ house all the way out in Suffolk County, Long Island to a 5th floor walk up in NYC and Nick, Vic, Paul, and Jack made it so easy! Jack was who I spoke with over the phone/email before the move and he was very nice and responded quickly and gave me all of the information I needed. I told him how much stuff I had and he gave me a quote and assigned me 3 movers. Day of the move, Nick, Vic, and Paul showed up on time and ready to work. They were so sweet and SO efficient. They got to my house at 9:45, packed everything up, drove to my apartment in NYC, moved everything up to the 5th floor (no elevator) and set up and unwrapped my furniture all by 2:45pm. It was incredible, they wouldn’t even stop to take a break no matter how much I insisted and never once complained about all of the stairs. Being that this company charges by the hour, it was so nice that they weren’t just taking their sweet time. Cannot recommend these guys enough. I love my new apartment but I genuinely can’t wait for my next move so I can use them again. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
This review is for Excellent Qualitys pack and move service. We had used them for a previous move and found them to be professional and efficient. This time around we hired them to assist with packing.I couldnt believe how careless they were. A few examples:-They packed a piece of furniture with exposed screws in with a box of clothing (luckily there was no damage).-They nearly forgot the legs to my couch which had been unscrewed and left in a trash bag near several actual bags of trash. Had I not noticed the legs poking through the bag I guess these guys would have been making an extra trip back to Brooklyn from Manhattan (who knows if I would have been charged for that time?).-They forgot to pack an entire bathrooms worth of items. They claimed later I didnt tell them to pack the room but the instructions were to pack the entire apartment and Im not sure why they would have assumed I was randomly parting with my towels, shower curtain, bathrobe etc, but not the nearly empty boxes of perishables in the kitchen which they did pack.-They made a mess of the place, throwing leftover packing materials and finished rolls of tape on the floor willy nilly. When I spoke to the dispatcher he said this was standard practice although it certainly didnt reduce the already considerable stress of moving to know Id have to come back to the apartment to clean up their mess.These guys seem to have a lot of good reviews so, I dont know, maybe I just got a careless crew. Like I said, wed moved with them before and it was fine but I wouldnt trust these guys to help you pack.
Can moving be easy? Well with these Excellent Quality Movies it was. I cant say enough good things about them: professional courteous considerate and careful. They arrived on time and then moved my home as if it were their home and this was no easy task since l have a large library and lots and lots of stuff accumulated into a NYC apt. The next morning a fully packed truck came to upstate New York where they unpacked it and help me get it into the house and garage. I highly recommend this professionals and plan to work with them again!!!

Moved like 15 blocks within the same neighborhood and didn’t really want to hire a moving company to move our stuff. Glad we did. When everything was packed and ready to go, it was definitely more things than we thought we had. The movers even brought boxes to help us pack up the rest of our small items. It took longer than expected but at the end of the day it was worth it; they did the heavy lifting, they set everything exactly where we wanted, and cost wise it worked out. We would’ve spent about the same renting a truck and paying people to help out.We got our stuff from point A to point B efficiently, I don’t know how people can complain. We went with them based on a recommendation and I’m forwarding the sentiment. Efficient and reliable moving company.
I used Excellent Quality Movers two weeks ago from upper manhattan to midtown, booking movers was easy and efficient. The guys got there on time, no extra charges. They were all very nice and got the job done well. I recommend these movers.
Ive used EQ movers in the past and they were amazing. Unfortunately the latest move was quite the opposite.The movers were mostly efficient, except one wasnt able to handle the job physically and ended up carelessly dragging our stuff. Somehow our bed foundation was ripped in the process, with broken items in our boxes. It would have been fine if the rates didnt almost double in two years.I imagine I was just unlucky with the crew I got, so be careful I guess.
Excellent quality movers have well earned their name! They showed extra care in moving the items and even helped placing them in great arrangements in the new home. Every piece of furniture and all fragile items arrived in perfect condition! I highly recommend them!
These guys are awesome. Almost a year ago they moved us from Brooklyn to New Hampshire for an awesome price with top rate service. I wish theyd come up here to move us into our new home! We were moved out of our 2 bedroom 1st floor apartment in one hour and moved into our 1 bedroom 4th floor (elevator) apartment in 2 hours. We could not believe how smooth the day went. Covid warning —MOVERS DO NOT WEAR MASKS OR GLOVES. I hired this company and am so disappointed as it seems so many other people had a great experience with them. I was their third move of the day and they were clearly exhausted and repeatedly complained and spoke disrespectfully to me. They threw boxes on the floor, complained about the work, and in the midst of a pandemic all of the movers removed their masks. I was supposed to visit family after this movie and have to wait to be tested now. Don’t do it. They are not safe.

Heard of these guys from a coworker who had used them multiple times in the past. Alex and his team lived up to the expectations. They came in and quickly moved all the boxes/loose items in under one hour. They packed up glass and other fragile things for transport. And they helped throw out large furniture that we no longer needed. I strongly recommend these movers. I’m sure the other guys are great but I will would ask for Alex.
I normally skip out on reviews but Ive had such a pleasant experience that I had to share it. I have moved around NYC a few times so I can definitely tell a good moving company from a bad one. This moving company is by far the best that I have ever dealt with. They were easy to get in touch with via phone and email, and were always quick to respond and follow-up (Ive worked with Alexander who was very efficient and pro-active in booking me as well as sending all appropriate information and updates). Their pricing model is very straightforward, no hidden fees and gotchas. Just make sure you go through the confirmation email that they will send you to understand what you may get charged for on the day of the move (mattress covers, TV and mirror bubble wrapping, etc) and be prepared ahead of time unless you do not mind paying extra for them to do it.In regards to my actual move: the movers who were assigned to me were Ivan, Beso and Temur. Ivan texted me ahead of time that they are on their way and provided a GPS-based ETA. They arrived on time and were immediately ready to go. Ivan clearly explained everything and coodinated the entire move very quickly. All three worked very hard without taking any breaks, loaded up my stuff very quickly and we were ready to go in less time than I realistically expected. Real professionals. I had to drop off my stuff in two locations, neither of which had an elevator, and everything was done very quickly and without any issues. Some furniture needed to be disassembled/reassembled in order to be moved and these guys have done it very quickly and efficiently with their own tools and without any manuals or instructions.I am very satisfied with this team, with the moving company and with the overall moving process. If anyone wants to move without extra hassle and at a straightforward, inexpensive rate then I highly recommend Excellent Quality Movers, and maybe you will be lucky enough to get Ivan, Beso and Temur as your moving squad.To anyone reading this that is preparing to move: I strongly suggest having snacks and cold water (if this is in the summer) prepared for you moving squad. They are performing a lot of difficult labor in a short period of time and its pure human decency to provide them with basic nourishment. Also do not forget to tip them and tip them well! Remember, they work much, much harder than your waiter does, and he typically gets 15% of the bill!
Used EQ Movers recently and it was the first time in NYC the whole experience wasnt a huge hassle. EQ were responsive and courteous leading up to the move and arrived promptly, worked quickly, and did a good job. Will be using them for all future moves.
Hired this company for my moves about 3-4 times. Always fast and efficient work. Ones accommodated me on the same day! All crews were very careful with our belongings. Next move will do with them as well.

I moved with this company my studio apt a few days ago within Brooklyn. Guys was professional, quick and very careful. They protected my furniture with a blankets for no extra cost. Definitely will use them again.
These guys were recommended to us by a friend and they did not disappoint. They arrived at 8am on the dot and were super quick to pack our stuff up and get it on the truck. Everything made it from point A to point B without any damage. Their price was the most competitive out of every other moving company we looked at and we couldnt be more pleased!
I was very disappointed with Excellent Quality Movers. Being that I cancelled FlatRate to go with this company because of reviews. I moved from a tiny studio on uws to Chelsea. How in the world would this move take 7hrs but that’s what happens when you’re paying per the hour. I had to call the Manager (Jack) to express my dissatisfaction with the movers and how slow they were. End up spending $800. $200 more than my quote and contract from FlatRate that I cancelled. Studio move within 5miles radius shouldn’t take more than 4hrs when I boxed 25 boxes myself before their arrival. Very unimpressed.

Had to move from New York to La and was worrying about how it can be done. Was going through a lot of moving company’s until I found this one. They provided a great customer service which led me to make a decision to go with them then they main part of moving was done professionally. I am not the best client but they know how to handle people like me. Highly recommend this company.
Used these guys recently for a move across manhattan. I was amazed how quickly they got everything into the truck from the 20th floor and moved into my new apartment. Highly highly recommended!! My move only took 1 hour and 25 minutes from former apartment into new apartment.
We will not be using EQ again and would not recommend them to anyone. They showed up on time, but took about 45 minutes to finish eating breakfast in the truck before they started doing any work. THEN, they took AN HOUR AND A HALF to get from our old apartment to the new apartment (a 20 minute drive away, we left at the same time they did and saw the truck leave the old apartment), which was conveniently timed during lunch and made us pay for the extra hour. Then the person heading up our move had the nerve to ask for double the tip when they were done, which was extremely unprofessional. They took their time loading the truck (two people were outside at the truck, one watching - which makes sense - and the other one doing who knows what) and unloading. The only thing I do commend them on is that they wrapped everything very well. I recommend going with a flat rate mover instead of these guys. They quote low, then take their sweet time and jack the cost up on the day of the move.
These guys are just excellent. Ive used them for several moves, including two different times in the past month. They are efficient, affordable, and the work ethic of their teams is top notch. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
Have used these guys a few times, they are always on time, very professional and hard working, and great to deal with. Last weekend I moved some stuff from our apartment to a storage space, Demetri was the main guy running the move, they had it all done within a few hours and it was totally painless. The movers showed up on time and worked pretty fast. I had expensive and fragile furniture and they did a good job in taking it all apart and wrapped everything in blankets and bubble wrap. They are a good company and would recommend.
These guys did a great job moving us from Bay Ridge to Gravesend. I have to say that this is the second time I use this company. Our first move was from Manhattan to Bay Ridge 1 year ago and everything went pretty well also. Even more, I didnt have a car and once they packed all of our stuff, their driver proposed to go to Bay Ridge with them, so I dont spend money/time on taxi/subway. Maybe thats a normal practice, I dont know, but whatever, it was still very nice of him. Once we came to a place, they asked us where we want to set our bed, sofa, dresser, other furniture and all that. They set up EVERYTHING. Literally (of course, not saying about clothes, food, etc.). Both times we moved. There was also one pleasant moment worth to mention. My wife was pregnant. We had a brand new baby crib, which was unassembled. We ordered it from Amazon to a new address, so it was already there before we moved in. I asked these guys to assemble the crib for a bit extra $. I was amazed! They:1. Unpacked it.2. Assembled.3. And then cleaned all the garbage!!! (this is the part which actually amazed me)I have no idea about other moving companies, but Excellent Quality Movers deserve to be called that. The experience was really good and truly Excellent! :)

I called around on a friday for an emergency weekend move and found Excellent Quality Movers, They showed up on time, were fast and careful, and I paid the rate they had quoted me the day before; no bs extra fees or charges at all. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. Extremely unprofessional and damaged my belongings beyond repair. I had a dresser that the mover stepped on and broke. When I brought up the issue to management, they hung up in my face and said they could not help me. BEWARE!!!
You guys are the best, seriously! I was dreading the move with two kids, two pets, and about a million toys, but you managed to make it into an effortless happy day! Don’t waste your time or money. They are a scam! They’re slow, really slow. The sales guy doesn’t communicate well to the moving team and also completely lies - will say anything to get the job but doesn’t deliver, talks about of both sides of his mouth, is insulting and rude, and did I mention that he will take advantage of you and your time and money as much as possible. Do not trust these people! We will never use them again and hope that this review will save the next person from the headache.
I had a great experience. Jasulan came with 2 other workers and did a great job. They were very polite and asked me questions all along the way. They arrived right on time and even called me before they got there. Everything made it there accounted for and in great shape. I would definitely recommend Jasulan and EQ team.

Stay away! They did not properly wrap my wood furniture as stated in the contract and dragged it off the truck. They took no responsibility for that. They did not bring mattress bags and wasted time shrink wrapping mattresses. Most of time only 1 man.out of 3 was working . Just stay away!

Martin & Maxs team moved me within Brooklyn last weekend. Got a heads up when they were heading over for the afternoon start, and arrived well within the start time window. I was running behind on packing, but they still managed to shuffle all of my belongings out and over in one piece.

2022-05-23EQ (Excellent Quality) Movers is a great moving experience! Vlad and Evgenie moved me into the one bedroom apartment of a walk up carefully, quickly and efficiently. They are strong and polite, sorted boxes by rooms and listened to every suggestion I made. Overall I highly recommend the company- if you want to ensure care and safety for your furniture and belongings, look no further!I’ve used them twice already and recommended to people I know. They were thorough, careful, and calm, even when our new building gave us some unexpected hurdles. The price was exactly what we anticipated from the advance quote. 2022-02-02I would be very wary of some of these positive reviews, as I feel two stars is being generous. Pay very close attention to the negative reviews and you will see a theme emerge, which is precisely what I experienced.- I was told my move would cost about half as much as what they charged at day-end. Offered to buy them coffee and lunch, was shocked to see they invoiced this downtime (1/2 hour each!)- Shoes on in apartment, no cardboard or paper laid down.- Little to no wrapping for anything other than the TV & Mattress (high end speakers just stacked on top of each other, etc)- Tipped them $75 each at the end for a one-bedroom + living/dining apartment move. Shockingly, I was pulled aside and told this was below average. He asked if I could get more cash to give “to his crew.” Was $75 per person, coffee and lunch not enough? Let alone low enough to bring it up to my face? This alone makes me want to drop this review to one star.- You have to pay for the time & gas it TAKES THEM TO DRIVE to your apartment in the morning. For real?!On second thought, I’m changing this to one star. Feel as though (like many NYC movers) this is a misleading bait & switch operation. Be very cautious when dealing here.
