I must say that customer service was superb.I went in to buy furniture for the first time and promptly greeted by Jorge.He wasn’t in a rush just for a sale, gave me multiple options and even helped me with my final choice.If that wasn’t all, the owner (I think his name was AJ) came to finalize the sale. He set it up with the staff on the spot about delivery.Needless to say, I am satisfied with my choice and even more appreciative of the great service I received.We all know how hectic and time consuming furniture shopping can be, but this store made it effortless.I would recommend this store to any and everyone. *Two thumbs way up*
Bad experience with this store. I bought a mirror and it came broken and they never changed it for me. Left me with a broken mirror. This store be jerking people for their money. They are scammers and fraud. Especially a worker call George. People be careful with this store. I dont recommend it to buy from them.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... Do not buy anything here please guys they are 100% scammer they would mess up you credit also. They would make you do the run around, they give you broken furniture they would never bring you all they stuff that you get. Do not I REPEAT DO NOT BUY HERE THE HABIBI AND GEORGE THEY 100% scammer. If you want to to be in peace not have a headache for months don’t go here you would never get your stuff at all. Never respond any emails, do not respond on IG neither. Called several times and never attend the phone and when they did they didn’t even asked for my name nor order #, they just told me yes your items will be delivered today and they didn’t even charged my account! 🤣 So how were they going to deliver? For free? Very unprofessional staff, system and company! Never will buy! I prefer Bobs even though they don’t have luxury furniture, at least I know my items will be well delivered and I will get an answer when I call.
I went into the store they greeted me, asks me what was I interested in, I asks a couple of questions abt theyre no money down procedure. They guide me through it, I was approved, I picked out the sofa I wanted, they even gave me a gift to take home that day, I told them when I wanted it delivered. They communication was great, they called me several times. They came, set it up with no problems, im in love with my sofa, and coffee table... my friends and family wants me to bring them to the store... great service, and great quality, I can honestly say.. thank you!
I purchased a bed and kitchen table in January and was greeted with good customer service and an easy going buying experience. What transpired thereafter is a cluster fu*k of a back and forth that has yet to end. Part of my bed basically broke and though it was a simple piece to replace it seemed no one from the store really wanted to come to our home to replace the faulty piece because it was not convenient for them to do so based on the location of our home. Initially, we were told that the store was not responsible for those types of requests and advised to call the loan department to fix the problem. The loan department stated that the store was indeed responsible. When I called back to tell the furniture store what I was told, they changed their tune and said they would come out to the house to drop off the piece we needed. My wife would call them back and forth for about 3 months. They never came. Finally, she speaks to the owner of the store who promises her that he would do everything he could in order to make us happy with our overall experience and to make up for the inconvenience of having slept on a broken bed for this whole time. The man gave her his word that he would personally deliver what was needed this past Wednesday. Mind you, his real concern and reason for having reached out to my wife in the first place was because she gave a negative review and he wanted her to remove it. Needless to say, we are still waiting for a representative to show up or call us with some sort of update. This was initially a great buying experience but if you dont live within a close enough delivery proximity from the store dont expect them to show up and help you out. I wouldnt be surprised if they kept stalling to see if I would go to the store for the pieces we needed. I would also be concerned with the level of honesty and integrity of the business as an attempt to buy off a customer for a positive response doesnt exactly show they have an interest in the individual customer and their needs. The business seems to care more about the volume of customers they receive as opposed to giving potential buyers and future customers a positive experience before AND after. Furthermore, Im personally not a fan of anyone who gives their word and reneges. Shows a complete lack of integrity and makes me not want to recommend anyone to purchase from this store.
SOOO TERRIBLE THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY EVER!! FOR STARTERS THEY ONLY DELIVERED HALF OF MY ORDER AND ITS BEEN TWO WEEKS AND THE REST IS STILL NOT HERE. I PAID A $200 DELIVERY FEE AND HAD TO BRING UP BOXES MYSELF BECAUSE THEY ONLY SENT ONE DELIVERY MAN. DO NOT BUY THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY AND ARE SO UNRELIABLE!Just came to update my review and say that not only was my buying experience THE WORST but it hasn’t even been a year and my dining table had to get replaced (waited 3 months for that) and now my bed just randomly shattered last night in my sleep. Very unprofessional, we walked in and were ignored . Staff didnt have on masks,one guy was passed out on a display sofa sleeping. Prices were outrageous, and they didnt want to deliver to my house. Their Instagram fools you. Hole in the wall place, you choose furniture from a book. Beware... we decided to not order with them. So disappointing,waste of time.
DO NOT, and I mean DO NOT buy furniture from this place. The owner and staff are unreliable, unprofessional, and never ever pick up the phone at the store. They don’t have a website, and when you step foot in the store is just a small place with very little merchandise to show. You have to look thru a catalog to buy and that does not guarantee good quality. I had the unfortunate experience of spending a lot of money on furniture that broke 2 weeks later. The young lady mentioned we were cover under the store guarantee, and said she would send someone over to fix it. It’s been 3 months, and no one has come to fix anything. I call the store, the owner, the staff, no one can help. They give me an appointment time and never show up. So please do yourself a favor and do not buy from them unless you want a negative experience just as I have. At one point the owner had the odacity to say he was doing me a favor and that I needed to wait for one of his staff to come fix my furniture. Month 4 after broken furniture and I am now spending more money to hire someone to fix it.
I’m really disappointed. My bed frame was gorgeous but the mattress was bad quality. My couch delivery was a mess! Found 2 holes in my ottoman. Their customer service is horrible. They kept telling me they would come a certain day and never did until i threatned to return the furniture.
I can’t put a 0 but if I could I’d give it less that that. Unprofessional, after purchasing the furniture it never arrived and getting a refund is close to impossible DONT BUY HERE!! Protect your money.DO NOT BUY HERE!!
My wife and I always have a hard time with furniture shopping because of pushy salesman and expensive prices... But nadia (I think thats her name) was extremely helpful! She was very friendly and we got this sense that she was really trying to find a good deal for us. If what you want isnt in the store, dont worry because she has a bunch of catalogs so she can order anything online
The most dishonest people ever. I purchased a bethroon set and paid right upfront, they did not delivered one of the piece and I tried one month calling to get it back. They told me if I could go and pick it up myself after paying my delivery. Once there made me wait 3 hours sitting and finally they called me the cops.Do not spend your money here.
These is the most irresponsable place ive ever been to. Ordered a bedroom set paid cash IN FULL and the manager doesnt even respond, i have been calling him for 1 week straight 10x a day without him giving me a legit explanation as to why my set is not here yet when it was supposed to arrive days ago. Please look at the bad reviews those people arent lying i know it has alot of 5 star ratings but please listen to the bad rates instead. DONT RISK UR MONEY IF U SEE ALL THOSE BAD COMMENTS.

The owner AJ was very attentive He made myself and my husband feel very comfortable while helping us make choices on some items needed for our home. We traveled from Westchester New York and it truly was worth the time! As a business owner customer service is very important to hire employees that reflect what your business represents and made an excellent choice. The sales reps there where very kind and helpful like we where part of them. Definitely recomended
Order a mirror on Sunday and was charged a delivery fee for Monday delivery. That didn’t happen and after LITERALLY calling 50 times I got someone on the phone. They promised Tuesday delivery but that didn’t happen. I read all tbe reviews and it seems like this is a pattern for them and a SCAM. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from them. Is not worth the headache and the lack of customer service and unprofessionalism is OUTSTANDING. Will be going through Small Claims court and my lawyer to get my money back as they appear to be lie and fake delivery if you do a claim through your Bank. DO NOT PAY CASH AND ASK FOR RECEIPTS if you do yourself the disfavor and order from them. If anyone wants to be part of a lawsuit for being a victim of this business feel free to contact me.
Took 2 months to recieve my full order!!! Overpriced and horrible quality. I bought two chairs and the leather is peeling off. I have sat on them 3 times max since I got them. Ridiculous. Customer service is horrible.

They service is horrible !!!! Took 3 weeks to deliver my furniture , when I received my bedroom set the wood that holds it together was already Broken . When I complained they told me they were delivering another frame for me .Im still waiting 1month later ,they keep promising new dates ,then had the nerve to tell me to come pick it up because they have none to deliver it. I want my refund

WORST STORE AND SERVICE EVER!!! Please don’t purchase anything in this store, I bought a mirror table for Black Friday and i 3 months passed by and they never got me my merchandise!! I used to call every day to ask for my delivery date and they would say it’s coming tomorrow and yet it never got to the store. The customer service from that store is HORRIBLE! There is a salesman called George and he would scream and close the phone on me. It’s sad how they have a store like that open!

The worst place to get furniture. Two months of waiting. Delivery times are horrible and the people who deliver are rude and lazy. They leave all the garbage behind. Sales rep Nadia is a liar and scammer as everyone else in that store. Everything is just based on lies in that store. Promises after promises and no action. Communication and comprehension to these people dont exist in their lifes. They are very ignorant and uneducated. So I advise everyone not to bother with them at all. Waste of time and money!
Oh really? I never bought anything from you? You stole $1000 from me and never sent me anything I’m reporting you to the police because I have my receipts and you never sent me my furniture and I have been waiting since February! This place is a rip off. They are liars, they sold me a night table for 300$ when I decided to not pay extra for shipping when I got home and opened the box all the pieces were broken. I called them and told them what happened. They told me that I must speak to the manager, after waiting for a week the manager told me that they will not refund my money or replace my purchase. CAREFUL!!! The most irresponsible people in the world. I am waiting for the delivery of my furniture for a month, they have an employee called NADIA who is the most false and deceitful person in the world, play with your time and your money. After you pay they do not want to return the money or give you your furniture, they blocked me from their instagram page and from their phone so as not to return the money I paid. I will definitely denounce them as SCAM to the business bureau of the city of NY. After I wrote this review they returned a check for the amount I had paid them. Then the manager called me threatening to put the check as fraud if I did not erase this review, thank God I have proof of the messages he sent me and the recorded call with the threat of hacking my personal accounts. It seems that he forgot that the constitution of the United States is that of freedom of expression as a right. And of course i went to the police with the evidence in case something happens with my personal accounts.

I came into the store a while back because I needed a boxspring. The encounter I had with AJ persuaded me into cancelling a sofa order I had with other place. I didn’t see any I liked in the store but he managed to find one online for me, my husband and I are sitting on it now and we love it. He’s a very patient and clever man. If you see Aj you’re in good hands.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I purchased this beautiful bed from them and it BROKEN as soon as the moving men left. All I did was sit on it......IM ONLY 110 lbs... The cheap frame on the bottom cracked into pieces. The cubbies on the side of the bed frame that are supposed to open up are stuck. The ones on the side do not go up higher than a 30 degree angle and the largest one in the front doesnt even open without it sounding like it is starting to break.PLEASE thoroughly inspect the furniture before you sign off on anything. The moving men didnt arrive until about 9PM and I was exhausted by the time they arrived. I didnt bother call them because they were just going to bring me back more of this CHEAP furniture. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY and dont be fooled like I was. 1,000 wasted !!! SHOP ELSEWHERE

This is my 1st time at Exotic Furniture and my experience was awesome. I got 3 pieces and they were for a great price and veey stylish. AJ and George were very nice, professional, and fast. I recommend anyone to purchase feom here.

Nadia one of the sell persons, Gorge the manager and the owner AJ are all thieves!!! I ordered a bed for 1,750 which I never got... after 3 months of waiting time and false promises I never got my bed... in the meantime I fell in the trap of accepting a loaner bed since I had no bed to sleep on abd they knew this... the credit card they opened for me paid in full to them... they expect me to continue paying for the bed I never received... they made false promises and false delivery dates .. I signed for the loaner bed and now they are claiming it was the 1,750 bed that was delivered... the loaner bed is worth no more than 500 dollars... this case is under investigation ... these people are scammers!!!!

The customer service here is amazing. My fiancé and I were looking for furniture for our new small apt. and found their page on Instagram. We are so happy we did! Rep. AJ listened to our needs and found us furniture for our taste right away. Showed us items in the store, in a paper catalog, and online. Gave us an unbeatable price for a whole bedroom set, a second bed and a sectional couch that could not be matched anywhere else. Another store was asking $400 more for the same sectional. Our furniture was delivered and assembled the very NEXT DAY. Our sectional was too big for our buildings hallways/staircase, but AJ offered to switch for a diff. one or have someone disassemble to bring it up. The guy who AJ sent cut/dissembled, reassembled, and reupholstered the sectional within an hr and a half. This store made our furniture shopping process way less stressful than expected. Def. recommend this place!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in my life. I called at 1:34pm to ask for pricing on a few pieces and was told to send pictures to a whatsapp number. I did and never got an answer. I called the store about 6 times in the span of 2 hours hoping this person would finaly send me the pricing information and every single time he answered he said yes yes I will send it but never did. At 5pm, 4 1/2 hours later he finaly got tired of me calling and left the store phone off the hook so I wouldn’t call him anymore. After reading the horrible reviews and experiencing this awful customer service I am convinced I have no interest in purchasing anything from this establishment and I advice anyone thinking about it to refrain from it. This is by far the most unprofessional establishment I have ever encountered and I hope no one else has to experience this.
DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Bought a bed, had numberous problems with delivery, made fake promises. I actually threw out my bed because I believed that the bed would be delivered the day I was told. Bed never came and no one ever called. They wanted me to give me a loaner bed (be careful this is a scam) I refused it. Finally after another false delivery date I decided to cancel my order and get my money back. Unprofessional and untrustworthy!!!!!

The worst experience I have had as a client of a place has been with these people, irresponsible and lack of word, besides that you have to walk behind them to give you a service and deliver the goods, because nobody answers or gives you an answer, then to talk about something, it turns out that later they say that this is not what I coordinate, they speak badly and even the phone closes you. If you are going to buy some furniture that is not in this furniture store, I do not recommend it even for a chair.
Omg so in love with this place i got my delivery the same day all. I was a little worry about chosing items from books but they offer me the delivery for the same day and that i have the option to change it if i didnt like it but im in love everything looks great an is a good quality. Normaly when you look on books you have to wait but they have almost everything in their wherehouse. I recomend this place a 100%
Aj and his staff were very nice and tried to accommodate our every need were a young couple and just moved to our place and needed to furnish our house to make it a home. but of course for the best prices and with our look and their amazing different styles they offer you won’t be disappointed ! I order 2 bedroom sets from them, on the day of the delivery I only received 1 set. I am waiting 2 months and still haven’t received the second set. They can’t give me a straight answer when I will get the second set.

Nadia was very help she is a great sales person and Jorge is the best manager I dealt with. They have great customer service and are very knowledgeable about their products.

They are literally a fraud the owner tells you one price and the workers try and give it too you for 2-3 hundred more and they never answer the phone and the furniture isn’t in good condition either plus if u reserve something they sell it and don’t care about anything worst furniture store employees ever !

The worst furniture in the US, the owner is a thief, he charged me 1,674 for a merchandise that I never took to my house, I went to the furniture to get my money back and he always has a story, I have almost 2 months in this of suggestion, he advised the people who do not go there that man is a thief does not even want to face me.

2022-03-17So i bought this bedroom set paid 450 for a delivery since were 3hr away we chose that since they also do the installation. They told us in a week they do the delivery everything was fine till the day of the arrival they brought us a queen bed instead of a King which was what we originally bought. Also one of the dresser one leg came broken we told them about it and we been ignored going on a month now waiting for them sleeping on the floor and calling for more than 50x a day to see when is going to be the next delivery they keep pushing the date. also they just ignore the fact we told them about the dresser to see if they could fix it or change it so now we stuck with a broken dresser.

2021-01-05If I can give it a zero, I will have done it! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE ITS A SCAM ! The people here will have you calling back and forward between AJ and Jorge. They stated I will get my furniture in three weeks and never arrived! always switching days and habitually lying. The incompetence of these people is unreal ! It’s been since 11/28/2020 and still nothing ! I ask for my refund and constantly lying that they will and still haven’t. Most importantly I visit the store with my child and they did not followed the COVID guild lines as the CDC direct!

2020-03-02Worse place to purchase from, they have false advertisement online and do not deliver entire bedroom set as shown online. They steal your money and legit laugh in your face about it. These people took an entire month to deliver a bedroom set and gave 4 different delivery dates to not show up on the date provided aside from that they did not deliver the complete order as shown online only 2 out 4 pieces and when you call they say they will call you back but never do.The delivery people left all the boxes and a huge mess inside of the apartment and were extremely rude! It is very hard to communicate with this company. I DO NOT recommend purchasing from this company you are better off ordering from Wayfair! Please read reviews before purchasing from his awful place they take advantage of people!

2019-10-10After I went to the store and ordered my couch, and didn’t get a call on the delivery date as expected, I came in here to read the reviews , I got a little anxious cause I thought I was going to have an issue or I had to wait more time to get what I ordered after I read some bad reviews, but thankfully everything went well, i placed an order on Sunday and my couch got delivered on Wednesday like we agreed! They actually called my fiancé and let him know the delivery was on the way, they called when they arrived, set everything up and left. I’m happy😊Price was great, quality is amazing and my couch is gorgeous!

2018-09-08I’m going to start by letting everyone know the customer service was GREEEAAATTT.I went in to buy a bedroom set was promptly assisted.They made me feel comfortable and gave me my space so that I can make a choice, didn’t feel as if I was being pushed to make a purchase, showed me different options and was focused on my needs rather than making the sale.Everyone there is so down to earth that even the owner comes to help the buyers with delivery setup.I am beyond satisfied with my choice and even more appreciative of the great service I received.I would recommend this store to everyone hands down!!

2018-10-10Stopped in to look for living room furniture(leather sectional sofa) and was thrilled by their customer service and offer to help me find something I really liked. When I finally found a piece but mentioned that I wished it was a different size and that Id like the chaise in a different position, they showed me catalogs where it could be done to my specifications. Really friendly ladies with great prices. I cant say enough good things about them.Their delivery was FAST. Like a few days kinda fast. And the guys who brought it in and set everything up for me were quick and courteous.Overall, Im super happy to have bought with them and will be going back for more!

2021-03-15Honestly they take your order nicely but the moment your furnitures has to be deliver they always a problem which they never know what’s going on with the delivery guys. My products where supposed to be deliver on Thursday and I never got it , I call Friday they told me by the end of the day I’ll be receiving my furniture I fall at sleep at 12am and not even I call was recibe. Saturday I pass by the store they told me ooh your order is right know on the way go home that before 6 pm you will be receiving your order and again it was 1am and not even a call just to let me know that they couldn’t deliver my order. Monday I when again to the store and I told them to please canceled my order they told me they charge 35% and I told them why if I never receive my order and that’s was not my problem. This is incredible not even a God them call just to inform about delivery problems don’t go there “DOOO NOOOTTT GOOO THEREEE “.
