I rented a UHAUL and it was such a hassle! I ordered it for 8am online and then found out that I couldnt pick it up until 930am when the owner Joe arrived to open up his store that is adjacent. Upon return of the rental I was instructed to hand the keys over to the next customer who needed the truck. We were then charged $648 instead of $99!!! Apparently no change of hands was recorded and we were charged for the moving companys miles also! I have called both UHAUL and Joe G about this and noone has issued me a refund yet. Its been over a week now so I filed a dispute with my bank. This was obviously Joes error since he requested the key transfer. This needs to be corrected ASAP. There is absolutely no reason that I should be paying that large amount for a truck that was driven 48 miles in less than 24 hours.
I rented a trailer in Washington to take to California, but somehow this location checked in the wrong trailer when someone returned it and charged me a $500 wrong destination fee when that trailer was returned. I have tried to contact them dozens of times and no one answers the phone or my emails. When the U-Haul in Menifee, CA finally reached them to discuss, the person in charge of the U-Haul rentals refused to even double check the number on the trailer that was returned to see it was incorrect. I had to not only call my bank, but also U-Haul corporate to get the situation fixed and I still do not have my $500 back. Complete incompetence and lack of follow-up at this location.

Terrible experience! My belongings were ruined in storage! And I was still charged after my belongings were out and a hassle to get my money back.. never again will I use and I would not recommend

2022-05-03The manager Savannah was super friendly and very courteous. She made sure to explain in full details all the benefits of using storage space. Explained in clear details everything they offered as far as supplies needed for moving and storage. I recommend anyone in need of space and storage use ExtraSpace Storage. Very satisfied.

2022-07-25First my unit flooded. They did give us another unit, but I had to pay for a Uhaul a second time to move my belongings from the flooded unit to the dry one. I have made all of my payments before my due dates, but Im being charged a late fee for no reason. I have emails showing I made my payments and also my payment history reflects it in my online account. They are claiming a payment was was disputed, but my bank has no record of a dispute or a credit to my account.Savannah talks a good game to get you to rent a unit from them, but she is actual very snotty when theres an issue. This company is horrible. Do not fall for their BS when searching for a storage facility. Use a different one.

2022-07-14It is unfortunate that this company took over life storage because they raised prices astronomically and they don’t prorate your return unless you give way advance notice. This means they have no problem double dipping and renting the storage out…so instead I have to keep a lock on an empty storage pod and wait 3 more weeks. Terrible.

2022-07-11Since the company change, rates went up 40%, both my units are broken - one has a broken handle and the other had a door that was not installed correctly and I cannot open or close by myself. Theyve known about the issues for over 3 months and nothing is fixed. Im moving out!
