It was literally hell. I made a reservation from Friday to Sunday. Once I got there, a very rude guy told me they are not even open on Sunday, he would not take the card I made the reservation on, he offered no solution and would not wait 20 minutes for someone to bring another card because he had to leave work at 230 pm. So basically, despite having made a reservation, I was not rented a car. He did say he wants my money, but yet not willing to help. Probably the most unpleasant customer service experiences of my life, and it did screw my weekend plans. I strongly suggest you avoid this place.
Very dishonest people, theyre thieves.Will try to claim insurance on a scratch that was definitely there before you got the car.Stay far away.
Its 2020, so perhaps I shouldnt be surprised that a car rental company will use their own definition for cars and sizes, when ordering a midsize car expect to get a compact car and get a shrug from the highly unprofessional front desk folks.They will nickel and dime you on everything and act like they are doing you a favor when renting you a car. Take your business elsewhere, Enterprise has better service and better prices.

Locations and price are great. Check-in process was a bit impersonal in the office. Lot manager was great though. Cars are a bit dated and need updated. Our minivans keyless entry wouldnt lock/unlock drive side door and the tires were bald. Still, I would happily rent from them again to support a local business.
Its the second time now that Im renting from EZ Car Rental and Im still a happy customer, although it was a Friday afternoon and quite hectic when I got there, check out was pretty fast, they have good cars in good condition unlike other rentals Ive had with worn-out engines and beat up cars, they have like 4/5 locations to serve you better. Very accommodating to the customer. After hour drop off available which is great.If youre involved in an accident, just call them here and theyll take care of the insurance claim for you, have your car fixed and give you a rental vehicle on the spot till you get your vehicle back.Keep it up guys!EZ Car Rental is the way to go!!
I have rented from here quite a few times, and have only but good things to say. It took me a total of 5 minutes to get and return the car, no hassle. Big props to Amrom for holding down fort over there when things get hectic, stays calm and makes sure everyone is happy and things run smoothly.Highly recommend!
The car they deliver was not a new, but in perfect condition: gas and brakes were well adjusted, driving that car was a pleasure. Customer service was friendly and understanding. Also the prices were VERY reasonable comparing to the other places that I looked up. I highly recommend this place!
We made reservation for a car for Wednesday, 7th of October at 10.30 am for 2 days, since we had resort for those two days. When we came to pick up the car, we saw a paper statingwe will be back at 1 p.m. Its really very poor service. They not even worry about they mistake. its was Sookot time and we will supposed to take Uber to JFK for pick up another car and for sure we was late for our vocation.🥺😭☹️😬😰

2 years after my rental and paying my tolls the charge my card without permission for a service charge. When i called up about it the lady on the phone was super nasty started screaming at me and then hung up. There are also more reviews abt this happening to other people. Scam artists, i urge you not to rent from them

I rent there a few times 2 times I got old cars it was making noise, I bring back the car thay keep me up for a half hour that I should sign papers that I scratched the car in the car had the same scratches from before even they dont found nothing they will say that you made scratches to make money on the insurance for nothing ,i would not recommended ,& thay charge me over$70 more on my credit card I called after a week that told me its a mistake they put it back, sorry but to many mistakes.(true story)To owner: Please fix your old cars & correct your mistakesPlease do not answer things that doesnt make no cents
This company had a reasonable price. The car was not in such good condition, but good enough for us.What we did not know when taking this car is that it had an expired registration and inspection. We did not check this, since we would expect a car rental to have up-to-date registration. The car was ticketed a a few times. We contacted the company and they said that they would take care of the tickets and not to worry. They not only did nothing abiut the tickets, but the tickets were re-issued in our name and the rental company’s delay caused penalties to add up exponentially and now NYC is demanding several hundreds of dollars from us.Beware. If this can happen, what else can happen? Be sure to look for an honest, resonsible and customer oriented company. Dealing with a company like this one proves that old saying “cheap ends up being expensive”.
Generally, I had a decent experience with EZ, But this Friday I had a bad one, I was waiting over 1/12 hour to get my car, and out 5 staff members no-one was serving me. at the end I got a smelly, oily and greasy car.
Not recommended!You will get a broken car that makes noises the entire way!I wanted a regular car, and they gave me a upgrade to a INFINITE SUV!The SUV was making a squeaky sound the hallway way as if the wheels are going to fall off! and then when I come to fill up gas the gas tank wont open...I called the emergency number, and it took me to a full voice mailbox! Who makes a emergency number to go a full mailbox?Besides that the car was all broken from a previous driver...Not recommended! Rather get something legit - that works, then a cheap scam.
By far the easiest, most pleasant time renting a car Ive ever had. Professionalism mixed with cheap prices and reasonable staff makes me rate this an easy 5 stars.
I would have liked to give a 5 star review. Nice clean cars, excellent rates, basically nice people – at first. I had a previously positive experience with them.Theres a lot of good things about this place, but I had some issues with the car they prepared for me. The temporary out-of-state (Florida) license plate on the car was actually a photocopy of a plate - on a piece of paper - and screwed in the upper 2 corners onto the rear of the car. Not cardboard or card stock. Paper! I was concerned that the paper would fly up in the wind and attract unwanted attention by highway patrol. Or tear. They argued with me, saying that I am ignorant of standards for temporary license plates. I have been driving for 30 years, and never saw a license plate made of paper connected to the back of a car - temporary or permanent.They offered me another car, and did paperwork for a new rental agreement, which I accepted immediately. However, that car did not have working headlights! Finally, on the third rental agreement that they produced, I did get a working car. The incident caused a delay of almost 45 minutes in getting my car, despite the fact that I had made a reservation, complete with all my credit card information. They were not apologetic, and I was put off by their condescending attitude, and lack of respect for my concerns.Also, be aware: Like many people, I rented a car because I dont have one, and therefore I did not know that there is no way to pay cash for the toll at the Verazzano Bridge, or the BrookIyn Battery Tunnel. If you do not have ez-pass, and you go through any cashless tolls - which are now common in New York City, the MTA bills the owner of the car, and there is NO PENALTY. In this case, the owner is the rental agency. When EZ Car Rental gets the bill, they will charge it to your credit card, But EZ car rental will tack on an additional $5 fee. This is despite the fact that it is not POSSIBLE to pay for those tolls without ez pass. The company certainly knows that this will happen if you travel out of Brooklyn, and I suggested that they notify their customers.Apparently, you can get a free ez pass account, and a transponder (the white thing that you put in your window) for FREE from ez-pass, and you can set it up to pay only per trip, per day. If EZ car rental had informed me - I would have opened an EZpass account before the second time I rented from them. Their response to my suggestion, was again, condescending, and snarky. Which is a shame.
The service here isnt bad. Its just the fact that there are no representatives to service you at all unless you wait a minimum of 2 hours to get helped! I would never go back there or recommend to anyone!!
They have great service and friendly staff but,,,,, United rent a car is cheaper.....Sorry....And if you continue charging the insurance companies $1,000 for a flat tire, you will look like the doctors offices that are not excepting United health care, Please dont abuse the system.....I have some more to say but Ill stop right here.....Check out my Review for boro park pediatrics and see my review there.....
Horrible service, price was almost double the amount they originally told me, and besides that theyre flooding our neighborhood with their cars on our residential streets, making it almost impossible to find parking in the whole area, do not use them, youll probably regret it
They sound very cheap but wait until you get your credit card statement it will be full of charges for toll for tunnels & Bridgs that you never visited with the car... & You can pay cash also...& When you call them in they will put you on hold for a half year or longer anyhow thats not so bad when all of a sudden your responsible for all the scratches thay a coustmer maid over a year ago trust me I know this company inside out I have ranted allot of cars from each & every location BP Williamsburg Monsey & Monroe & I heard Lakewood is also the same but I never ranted from Lakewood AS LONG AS YOU DONT HAVE A PERSONAL INSURANCE THEY WILL DEFINITELY CHARGE YOU FOR SCRATCHES & MIRRORS & BUMPERS THAT WAS DEFINITELY BEFORE WATCH OUT!!!!what I do when I most rent our a car from them is I take pictures & videos from every angle Inch of the car so when they try to charge me I show them the pictures. that its not my fault.I know its cheaper the any other rental but thats how they earn there profit from the insurance companys under your name!!Anyway when you most rent from this company. Remember to record everything.

Nastiest costumer service around got a bill in the mail with no explanation what it is for with a threat that if not paid it will go to collections so I called and got an extremely rude rep only to find out it was from 2 years ago and this was there first attempt to collect never rent from them they won’t treat you like a human being

Our Rental Mercedes 12 passenger Van, was good size for us and our driver loved it. I asked for them to set up an office in the Bronx.

2021-10-25Please do yourself a favor and stay away from these scammers!unless you want to have headaches for the remainder of your lifetime ,These poeple make a living on claiming your credit card insurance for scratches that was on the vehicle prior to your rental.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM !!!!!! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!!!!! unless you dont care on being harassed for the following years after your rental. I will chnage my review if they change thier policy of stealing and harassing people in this community.

2021-08-19They charged 500 dollars for a SUV from Friday till Monday morning. The first car they gave me was a Nissan pathfinder that only detected the key if you put it next to the start button, which meant that I couldnt lock the remotely and the alarm went every few minutes for no reason. so returned it and they gave and told Ford explorer that had 60000mi and had lights and sirens without a permit and didnt have the EZ logo and it probably was a private junk car that they have just in case. As I got to the highway it started vibrating strongly and made loud grinding noises and the engine light came on .so I called the office and they denied the problem and told me to continue driving . Sunday morning the car wouldnt open, the key battery was dead, I couldnt find the emergency hotline number on the website so i called chaveirem and they opened the door but car still wouldnt start so they gave me ezs hotline . And the guy issac that picked up spoke very nasty , and tried to blame at first,until the chaveirem member called him,and told him that key wasnt working and the engine was missing engine fluid which can cause the engine to overheat. And he finally agreed to send a tow truck. When i got back I went to the office to ask understandablyfor a refund they told that the manager will call me, which he never did,I tried contacting them every day but they pushing me off with different BS excuses and I still didnt get refundedThey also have terrible service and never pick up ,or respond backIm never going back to Ez and I tell everybody I can about my experience and I try convincing people not to go to EzTERRIBLE PLACE!!!!!!!!!
