The only luxury feature of this place is the rent. The craftsmanship in the apartment is sub-par, the appliances are low-end, the carpeting and/or flooring they put is builder grade and do not hold up well. The staff threaten their residents weekly whether about parking (which is horrendous, by the way, more about that later), and most recently sending an email about our use of toilet paper (and threatening to fine us $250 if we are found to be using anything other than toilet paper, i.e. baby wipes -- still wondering how theyll find that out in the privacy of my own bathroom). The parking is only available to residents. If you have guests, they cannot park in the parking lot, at the nearby bank parking lot, or anywhere else (so if you entertain, this place isnt a good option). To break a lease, they require THREE months of rent, not to mention that they raised the rent during COVID (as they do every year despite upgrading the land or the facilities). You can hear your neighbors through the walls, you can smell their cigarette smoke through the plumbing and ventilation (Ive come home from work in the past to an apartment smelling as if someone smoked all day in it, I am not a smoker). It takes them days to shovel the walkways during snowstorms, and they plow the parking lot in a way that creates a mound of snow behind your car.The garbage truck does not come as often as it should, causing mounds upon mounds of garbage to pile up.They have basement space they have threatened residents if used.Look elsewhere, do not rent from Fairfield.
