We stayed at 4 hotels over the week as we were in town for a medical procedure and unsure of how long wed be staying. This ended up being our favorite, even though the room size was the smallest and it was lacking a couch, microwave, & refrigerator with freezer. Despite being Bonvoy Gold Elite, no upgrades were available & we were in need of an actual freezer so we had to switch hotels. We loved that this hotel had a cable weight machine in addition to dumbbells, 2 ellipticals, & 2 treadmills. We also thought this had the biggest variety breakfast and appreciated more than just cereal & scrambled eggs. Fairfield had egg omelets, Chobani Greek Yogurt (the other Marriott hotels only had artificially sweetened Light N Fit), fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, English muffins & bagels, & sausages. The lobby was nice, the pool was large & there was a hot tub (the other hotels didnt have a hot tub). The pool water was a bit foggy, but there were a lot of kids in it. Overall, a great stay & wed stay here again.
There was 9 of us and we were flying to orlando in the morning so we stopped there for nite and took the shuttle over to the airport. People at front desk were wonderful, very helpful and understood exactly what we needed. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. To airport the shuttle was easy and right to the door. Great experience and would definitely stay again. Even for a get away.
The stay was nice. Beds could be a bit less firm. Room was clean. The hallways was really uncomfortable in heat and stuffy wise.Breakfast buffet was decent. If you have dietary needs like being vegan or gluten free. There is limited options for you. The staff was amazing at keeping things stocked for breakfast. The pool is a lot larger than most hotel pools. The workout room was clean and machines ran well.Overall, decent stay and had a pleasant experience.
Stay was fine. Staff pleasant, room clean. There were a few minor annoyances:-Breakfast worker did not know that Saturday breakfast goes until 10am and had put away all the food at 9. When we asked for food (bagel and muffin racks were empty), she told us breakfast had ended. We had to tell her there was another hour of breakfast service (many others came in after us too).-Breakfast in general wasn’t great, likely since most things are still pre-packaged COVID food. We did appreciate that there was a breakfast buffet, just wasn’t up to standards we’ve had elsewhere (admittedly pre-COVID).-Although the lobby has all day coffee and tea service, the hot water for tea was always empty - 4 different tries at different times of day over a 3 day stay. Made do by getting water from the fitness center cooler and microwaving it myself. - We had to request bedding for the pullout sofa even though our reservation clearly indicated we had 4 people in the room and would need the pullout. No one came after an hour of waiting so we walked to front desk to get it ourselves. - Also had to request an extra towel - only 3 in the room, again despite reservation for 4 people.- Although I didn’t expect full maid service, there was no service at all - garbage cans overflowing after 3 days, re-used towels for 3 days, etc. I don’t know what the current policy is (no one told us and it wasn’t listed anywhere), but I at least would have liked the garbage emptied.
Clean and stylish... maybe new or recently refurbished. Room includes TV, mini fridge, desk, office chair and 1 small upholstered chair, plus usual clothing care amenities. We enjoyed their self serve hot breakfast bar with generous assortment of food, but only til 9am. Bathrooms need a fan, but did have shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
The staff at Fairfield by Marriott Buffalo Airport location made our stay incredibly comfortable and easy. We have not been traveling often due to the ongoing SARS-COV-2 virus spread, and were very pleased at the safety measures in place. We appreciate that staff and guests are still wearing masks at Marriott because it shows a consideration and humanity that helps us feel comfortable. The check in process was incredibly smooth and hassle free. Throughout our stay all of the staff were responsive, considerate and helpful. We were able to easily sign up for the pool, and Marriott has done a very good job at keeping people safe in that environment. Clean would be an understatement! Excellent job Marriott. We would especially like to recognize Linda, the night/early morning front desk staff person. When we picked up our breakfast at the front desk at 6:30am, Linda was warm and welcoming, patiently answering all of our early morning questions. As we poured ourselves coffee we observed that she was equally friendly and welcoming to each of the other guests as well. Lindas attitude and etiquette are exemplary, and we hope Marriott will incorporate her manners and kindness in all of your staff trainings, at the national level. Thank you Linda, and thank you Marriott.
We stayed here for a long weekend with our small dog while our house was being shown for sale. It was the perfect arrangement! The boxed breakfasts were big and much better than we expected. They had dog waste bags outside when we ran out which was very convenient! The staff was very friendly and accommodating- our realtor needed more showing times on the day we were checking out and they allowed us a later checkout so we didn’t have to sit in our car with the dog for hours. Also the WiFi was extremely fast - we both logged in to work remotely with 0 issues
Our flight was cancelled out of Buffalo and we needed a place to stay. We found Fairfield and booked our room. The room was very nice and a reasonable price. The water pressure was great for showers and they had Tea Tree Products to use. Very nice experience. Really not fair for me to rate the food as we didn’t use any amenities like coffee or breakfast. It was definitely offered and much appreciated!
I was visiting a friend whose husband was in the hospital. I always stay at Marriotts because they have never let me down. The entire staff at the Fairfield Inn and Suites at Buffalo Airport made me feel welcome and the hotel was super clean, comfortable and very nice. The pool and hot tub were easily available - guests need to reserve a time for them - and I really enjoyed them both. Made my stay very relaxing. My guest suite was roomy and very comfortable. I slept like a log. The free breakfast was very generous. I had the breakfast sandwich with my coffee, and took the fresh fruit, juice and granola bar with me for later. I liked being able to eat my breakfast in the dining room. Id stayed at this hotel a few years ago, and had a positive experience then. Ill be back next time I visit Buffalo.
My room was clean, quiet and comfortable at a fair price. Very close to the airport but noise from the planes wasn’t noticeable. The included breakfast was a boxed breakfast that you preordered. You got to choose from a list of limited selections to call in the night before. In the morning, the box you ordered was ready for you in the breakfast area. This wasn’t as good as the normal hot continental breakfast bar but they did the best they could while working around Covid restrictions. Overall a good experience. I would definitely stay again.
We love this hotel near our daughters home and stay here quite frequently. It is always clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff are accommodating and friendly. The facilities are lovely and the location is great. Of the many times weve stayed here we have only had 1 room where the Heating/Cooling system made a clicking noise and they offered to give us a different room. This hotel is top notch.
We enjoyed ourselves. It was nice to come to an uncomplicated place to lay our heads. The price was good. The door card gave me no problems. We had a nice breakfast box in the morning.. We used the pool and the hot tub which made for a special time for the kids. I recommend this location to others.
The hotel was clean and modern in an outstanding location very near the airport and next door to a Starbucks. A quality free breakfast was offered but not eaten. The front desk was unable to successfully issue the mobile key. My advance request for a room near elevator and the extra pillows was not honored and I had to go to the front desk to get them. Worst of all the hotel does not allow guests to use their own HDMI cable to attach the TV to a laptop for better viewing of Architectural plans and blueprints that we needed to work on during our stay. No reason given or help offered. We were just told it is not allowed. Attaching the cable disables the TV.
The hotel is updated and the front desk staff are nice but the hotel has no rules for guest and no ability to maintain the cleanliness of the hotel if it is full or even at capacity. The pool area, laundry room, breakfast area all dirty no staff to clean and or maintain. The housekeeping staff are not cleaning the rooms so I guess the rooms are a breeding ground of bacteria, viruses who knows what!!! It doesn’t matter about your Bonvey Marriott rewards level the response is just poor!! So on my 3rd day I requested housekeeping services all she did was pull the blankets back over the bed... no bathroom cleaning nothing Why? I’m disgusted
Horrible night stay.. LOUD! We complained and called front desk on noise and yelling going on outside and in the hotel. It still continued on all night. Manager asked how our night was when we checked out..And we told her it sucked and it was loud all night. And she had the balls to tell us, that they did talk to those people after we had called to complain.. But that they had just won a state championship so they were just celebrating. Seriously!!! We were celebrating our 30 year wedding anniversary!! No apologies...No discount on the room..No offer of another night free..
I stayed at the Fairfield for three nights, and was pleased with the stay. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, and a nice bathroom. Plenty of hot water in the shower, and great shampoo/conditioner too. Friendly desk staff. I only wish the breakfast could have been eaten in the traditional area off of the lobby - it had to be picked up at the front desk and taken elsewhere. Great location, and a good value.
Everything went fine. The room was nice and clean. I really enjoyed the pool. The staff were professional. The breakfast was alright with everything individually wrapped but I didnt expect much given covid restrictions. This was my second stay this month and will stay again if in the area.
Positive: Answered prompt questions and I were very helpful. The cleaning lady was asked to come back later to clean and she did it with no problem. We enjoyed our short stay and felt very safe . Negative: One thing I would change is to make sure hand sanitizer near the elevators were changed
Free airport shuttle was a bonus.Breakfast buffet was standard Marriott faire. With Covid they have switched to individually packaged muffins which are really bad! The addition of a waffle maker would be a big plus. Our room was the typical high quality that youd expect at a Marriott property. The big Snafu we encountered was during check-in. Our reservation was for a Thursday check-in with a late check out on Friday. In the app I selected the latest check-in available (Friday@4:00 AM) and used the chat feature to secure a 4 PM checkout. When we arrived at the hotel the computer showed us as already checked out! The lone front desk person, Nichole, was calm and professional but could not get the system to cooperate. After nearly an hour of phone calls and trying she finally reached out to the manager of the Courtyard across the parking lot, and she was able to secure us a room.
I always choose the Fairfield Inn & Suites when I fly out of the Buffalo Airport! The check in is easy, staff are very pleasant and they have an early morning shuttle to get me to the airport in time for my early flight. Everything is clean and comfortable. Best choice for me!
Staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs upon checking into the hotel. Sherri at the front desk left a lasting impression on me from her professional demeanor downbeat to her compassionate actions. The room was immaculate and I was overall satisfied. Would definitely recommend!
The room was clean and the rates are reasonable. Due to Covid they arent doing the buffet breakfast. They provide a list of breakfast items and you just call the front desk. Its boxed up and ready the next morning. They have a decent selection of breakfast food to pick from. Bonus for Starbucks lovers there is one right next to the hotel.
We missed the highly anticipated hot continental breakfast, waffle maker, cereals. Box breakfast had to be requested before 2am which on 5am (our prayer time )request was denied inspite of courtesy appeal for little kids on phone. Then wife had to roll her sleeves and go down to reception 5 am with kids to make it happen and the receptionist did put the request forward and we got our breakfast boxes at 830am, apparently logistics were not an issue but people’s skill and courteous attitude was the missing link in pursuance of following self made sops.
No hot water. Called the front desk and was told you have to read n the water for 15 minutes. Strange answer since it’s morning and others must be trying to take a shower so there must be hot water in this section. Maybe they figure most people won’t actually try to run it for 15 minutes or will give up?
Fairfield was chosen because it is right across the street from the Buffalo Airport. Room was very nice, bed comfortable but the positioning of a group of young girls on a trip was unfortunate as they were up all night, noisy and loud. Manager had to quiet them but it was only for a short time. Group should have been put on the highest floor away from other guests.
We enjoyed our one night stay and would return. The staff was excellent. The rooms looked recently remodeled and were spotless. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We really appreciated the continuous shuttle service because we arrived near midnight. One star deducted for the hallway noise from less than considerate guests.
The Fairfield Inn was excellent, myself, my wife, 16 year old son who is in a wheelchair and 2 80lbs plus dogs stayed locally for 4 nights while our house was being shown for sale. We have unfortunately had a very tough time finding large dog friendly hotels (which is idiotic as in my experience larger dogs are far more calm and less likely to have accidents) however this hotel, we had no issue, they have a back door which was very nice to come and go, the staff was excellent, the hotel was extremely clean and the rates were very good, we will be staying here again whenever needed.
My experience was for a business training session held here, and I was able to check out some of the facilities. The pool is large and looks awesome, as was the gym. Theres a really nice Central lounge laden is a rich finish resembling a lodge atmosphere. We requested some water and the clerk acted promptly. The hotel is set back from Genesee and had well kept landscaping and overall the place was very clean.
Had a wonderful three day stay to celebrate our anniversary. Front desk staff were amazing, friendly and helpful, as was the maintenance person and the breakfast person. Felt very comfortable dealing with the people in the above three areas. breakfast items were hot and filled up, even during the busiest times, hot eggs, bacon and sausages, standard pastries, fruit, waffles (four small ones if I recall), juice, milk, cream, soya for coffee and other drinkers, different flavours of yogurt and two small containers of milk, 2% and fat reduced. Room was comfortable, no issues with heat, plumbing, bed. Last morning told housekeeping coming back, so she did not have to go into our room, as we took suitcases to vehicle, she was coming out of our room when we came back. Was our go to hotel for anniversary-will re-evaluate.
Lobby was up to date, gift shop, complimentary fresh citrus water next to the electric wall fireplace. Prompt, efficient check in process, exceptional front desk staff!! Interacted with several. Clean room, morning coffee maker, refrigerator. Cable and many streaming options on a good quality smart television. Bed was clean very comfy, as were the pillows. Bathroom was clean and sufficiently stocked with towels and face clothes. Complimentary citrus shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Complimentary breakfast was very good!! Many hot and cold choices such as scrambled eggs, omelette’s sausage, bacon, waffles, home fries, cold cereal, toast and muffins. Typical juice selections, coffee, etc. Shuttle service back and forth was extremely prompt on pickups and drop off both ways. The entire staff was amazing!! Very prompt, professional, and friendly throughout the stay and in interaction providing an exceptional experience!!
ALL of the staff were a delight to talk to. They were professional and seemed eager to help. The hotel room was nice and they had a good breakfast selection! While staying at this hotel, sometimes I had to leave for work before breakfast started, but they start setting up early, so they always seemed to have something there for me to eat so I wouldnt go hungry! :D Would highly recommend if you ever stay in Buffalo. (Its convenient because it is right across the street from the airport, but there is NO airplane noise.)
When I returned to my room at approximately 3:22 am I discovered the plate where you wave your key to open the door was missing off my door handle panel. The staff did check my room and make sure it was safe before me going in to grab my things to be moved to another room. There was a lot of difficulty with that so I had to be put into a room that was a downgrade from what I paid for and I wasn’t checked into the room so I wasn’t able to get a key and needed to contact the desk to get back into my room whenever I need to come out of the room. I am a female and was all alone in the middle of the night, this was very unsettling for me. I considered leaving the hotel and driving an hr and a half home in the middle of the night because of how uncomfortable I felt with this situation.
I love the super big rooms with comfortable beds. The room smell freshly cleaned. The bathroom super clean too. My room had a seating area plus a desk just in case you need to get some work done. The young lady at the front desk was very professional and helpful very nice. Over all it’s a lovely hotel.
Our stay was excellent. The friendly and warm hotel staff were helpful and professional. The lobby is well designed, open and offers a warm welcome. There are plenty of seats for children/elderly to sit on while we checked in and plenty of room for a double child stroller. The breakfast was well balanced for our family and the hotel is spotless. The biggest plus is the helpful and welcoming staff, super clean facility and great location. I recommend this hotel.
We came into town to be tested for potential kidney donation. We stayed at Fairfield Buffalo Airport in hopes of finding our home away from home during the donation and recovery period on 1-2 weeks. The hotel was very clean (this is of special concern based on the reason for our stay). Our suite was very spacious. The entire staff very friendly and helpful from the time we booked the room on the phone until we checked out. The decor was modern and up to date. We especially loved the treats in the lobby in the late afternoon/evening hours... soft serve ice cream and apple cider. We look forward to seeing the staff again in a couple months when we return to Buffalo for the operation.
The Fairfield Inn and Suites Buffalo Airport was really nice. Very accommodating, quick to answer questions through chat, phone and in-person. Enjoyed restaurant delivery options. Breakfast was well delivered in the era COVID-19. Transportation to/from the airport was really appreciated.Enjoyed the room upgrade.
The stay was amazingly pleasant. Guest services was so warm and welcoming. We booked a double queen bed and requested a sofa-bed, non was available but upon arrival we got a complimentary upgrade to a queen suite that included a pull out couch....that was so amazing. Hotel room was huge, spacious and clean. Overall experience was simply great. I would recommend this to anyone.
It’s pretty typical of the brand, clean comfortable room not a lot of space, budget price. During Covid, if you want breakfast, you have to tell them the night before, or you’re out of luck. Which is really no big deal considering hotel breakfast is not The Four Seasons
We chose the hotel because it was convenient to the airport. We had a 3 hour drive to make after getting to the airport after landing at the airport at about 11 PM in December. The hotel was clean, the was friendly and they were very innovative in their response to COVID 19.
Convenient location, we were there for hockey games and were close to several rinks. No noise from the airport. Large lobby area was nice for pizza and watching television as a group. Breakfast was so-so, typical continental style. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Parking was not an issue. Starbucks right next door.
The mattress was comfortable and the room quiet and clean. The staff, helpful. The breakfast was more than adequate. I was not happy with not being given a choice of using bar soap, which is more sanitary, than there being only soft soap dispensers in the shower area. I was concerned with the large number of other guests that had used the same soap dispensers, and whether they were ever cleaned before being refilled.
Pools opens at 6 am, not check out time, stays open late, beautiful hot tub, warm, friendly front staff, remembering from the last time we were there. Takes time to share instead of rushing off. Towel are large, soft and colourful. Room was comfortable, bed gave us a restful sleep. Didnt need heater/ac so cannot comment on the noise factor. Quiet washroom, extra amenities if needed. Didnt have a body lotion available, didnt check with front desk though. Strawberries were a wonderful touch (Fridays only), standard breakfast items-cereal, hot and cold, walnuts, almonds, cranberries, for cereal, oatmeal, waffles, fruit, two types of yogurt, breads and bagels, didnt see any muffins-was one gluten free double chocolate one, eggs and two types of sausages. Seems to be a business hotel, few families in the hotel, but get visiting families from other hotels to use pool and hot tub. Most of the times, we were the only two in the pool and hot tub, Friday afternoon did change the complexion of the hotel very little, but not as much as it did at the Niagara Falls Fairfield (must be fairly close to shopping-something we do not do much of).
My daughter and i stayed at the Fairfield Inn last night. Fantastic experience! She was flying out this morning, so we booked the room because it was directly across the street from the Buffalo Airport. Pool and hot tub were very nice...clean and quiet. Pool towels for our use on deck. Also had complimentary hot breakfast this morning. Will definately stay here again!
We both loved our stay. Weve been coming to the Inn for a number of years for Black Friday shopping. The staff really make our stay. They are courteous and go out of their way to make sure our visit is pleasurable. The rooms are always clean, unlike some hotels weve heard of that have bugs etc. We also require a totally free of feathers room, and the fact that you keep certain rooms always feather free is very much appreciated. We like the updated changes being made to the facilities and will really enjoy the new menu being put in place for breakfast. **Although we dont need to use them, the automated lifts you have for handicapped access to the swimming pool and hot tub, are wonderful. Ive never seen this - even in 5 star hotels that Ive visited!
You are not allowed to watch video from your own hdmi device at all. I was told it is explicitly denied by the company for security reasons. Denying you the ability to play video from your laptop is, of course, not a security issue, it is a control and surveillance issue. Most other hotels allow this, so you have to wonder why its explicitly denied by Fairfield and Marriott. Control and monitoring. They are forcing people to use their Netflix and other streaming accounts over their networks and TV, why? Control, surveillance and monitoring. Why else?
Not to happy, there was a pineapple juice bottle in the pull out bed. It was also not the room I booked online but they had nothing else. Staff not friendly. They also asked us to order breakfast before 2am ordered it and it wasnt what we asked for but our room number was on it
The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, had a lot of options. The staff was very friendly and professional. There are a lot of good eats nearby. The only negative, if Im picky, is that some things in the room could have been cleaner (the shower, the coffee machine, etc), but we had a wonderful stay.
We were placed in a handicap room when we clearly are young and in good shape and a handicap room was not necessary. We booked the room a few months out so if you try to tell me there wasnt availability that is not true. The room was very dated and old. The sheets had a hard feeling piece/ stain at the bottom of them. There was a constant duck beeping sound all night long. The smoke alarm flashed all night long in our eyes. The bed was unbelievably hard and not comfortable. Breakfast was one of the worst we have experienced. The food selection and quality was very poor. I would definitely not stay here in the future and would find another hotel in the area.
We took our granddaughter back to college and stayed overnight because of the long distance we were driving. The hotel androom were nicely appointed and very clean. The price was reasonable and included breakfast. It was easy to find and staff were friendly and very helpful. Even though it was right across from the airport, the room was very quiet. I was a comfortablestay and I recommend it highly.
I decided to stay overnight at this hotel due to an early morning flight and the unpredictable weather. My wife dropped me off in the afternoon and I was warmly greeted. Given an upgraded room and made an appointment for the shuttle to the airport in the am. The room was very clean, large and allowed me to spread out and get some work done. Prompt wake up call in the am. I thought I would miss the am hot breakfast and they had cold items to take eat early. However, as I was waiting for the shuttle to the airport, the hot items were put out and I was able to eat the excellent hot breakfast items. Shuttle service to the airport was fast and efficient. Will definitely stay here again if the need arises.
My family and I stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites at the airport in April and had an excellent stay! The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful! They successfully fulfilled all of our requests and our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the pool and had a filling complimentary breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Dont get me wrong, nothing really bad here but Im being fair and critiquing versus some really nice places. So as hotels in general go, it was pricey versus quality, but it was a typical price for this area. 2 queen beds, one was comfortable for hotel standards, the other rolled to the middle just a bit. Good choice of softer or slightly firm pillows. CLEAN! Yay! Shower had nice shower head and good temperature and pressure. The drain ran slow, but that can be fixed. Breakfast was typical hotel expanded breakfast. Sausage patties, good scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fruit, beads, cereal, yogurt... Nice staff!
We loved the very large swimming pool and fabulous hot tub. The breakfast was hot, tasty and varied. Every night, there was a little treat in the lobby, one day root beer floats, another sundaes, reminiscent of a B&B. The cleanliness was excellent and the king bed supremely comfortable. The location cant be beat. Our only problem as a couple traveling with a preteen child was that when the sofabed was open, the access to the bathroom from the king bed area was cut off. You could perhaps squeeze by sideways, but that seemed problematic in the dark. Two employees helped move the bed over so that there was more room, but that cut off access to the desk area. So, you have a choice: Desk or sofabed. If you dont need the sofabed, then you will be happy. I wonder if there is a design fix the hotel might employ to solve this problem. Everyone was very helpful and nice and did their best, but there was no magic fix for the issue.
This was our second stay at this hotel and everything was great. Our son got since during our first night and the whole staff came together to accomodate our needs. The cleaning lady did a great job on the bathroom. The laundry machines broke down and we were sent to the TownePlace Suites where we were helped by Kaylee Sandel. The rest of our stay was great. I always suggest that exhaust fans get installed in the bathrooms.
Checked in, room was ready, had already picked up package that I had had sent to the hotel to be picked up. Friendly front staff, and others. Breakfast area could use extra help during busy times. Visited on weekend so pool towels were usually being refilled continuously. Large pool, opens at 6, not many in pool then, gets more populated in afternoon and evening. Some families have respect for other pool users. Hot tub was warm but some clients just come to sit around edge making it difficult to utilize the hot tub to potential. Quiet room. Much better than Fairfield Inn in Niagara Falls. More consumer orientated.
Ive never had a bad experience at a Marriott, they are my preferred hotel when we travel. Unfortunately this one was a dud. For the price I had hoped for a nicer room in an area of Buffalo littered with hotels. I had my family with me, my wife and two boys (4 and 2). Room seemed smaller than advertised and bath tub plug did not work. Also, the TVs were modified so you couldnt use a Roku device or even a DVD player. They had a grill outside but it too did not function. Staff was friendly and the pool was the highlight of the trip. Complementary breakfast was also a plus. We wouldnt stay here again. Location for visiting the Buffalo Zoo was good and there is a great little park nearby on Garrison Street.
The hotel was nice and clean - the room was on the smaller side though. The breakfast included was decent. Its proximity to the airport helped though had to wait for about 15 minutes to get the airport pickup around 11:15 pm. The lack of in room or nearby dining options after 11:30 pm is a bummer for a travel connector oriented spot.
Although we were only in Buffalo for one night, our stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott was wonderful. The front desk personnel were friendly and most helpful. We were looking for a nice but reasonable restaurant to have dinner at, and the suggestion made by the girl at the desk was perfect. She also checked on line to see exactly how far from the hotel the restaurant was.Breakfast the next morning was very nice as well. The breakfast area was maintained nicely, neat and clean and there was plenty to choose from. As things got low, the attendant quickly refilled the supplies. This was a wonderful experience.
Top notch Fairfield property. Staff were friendly and attentive and the hotel was very clean and decorated nice for the holidays. The fitness area was above average with lots of room and all the equipment you could possibly need; they even provided free disposable earbuds!! The free breakfast was also great with plenty of seating and a good selection of items including eggs and sausage. The hotel is directly across the street from the airport but noise was not an issue as there does not seem to be many late night flights arriving or departing this airport between 10pm -6am. Overall, excellent stay!
We decided to stay at the Fairfield Inn &Suites Buffalo Airport because we have stayed there before and had a very pleasant stay, but this stay was a little different. I have requested a high floor, extra towels, extra pillows and away from the elevator. We only received the higher floor. We also thought the room was very small, it reminded me of our stay at Town Suites, which has very small rooms too! Overall the stay was pleasant and the breakfast was good. The swimming pool was cool but refreshing, good thing there was a whirlpool. It was just we needed after shopping all day :)
This was a great choice on our stay in Buffalo. We come back home a few times a year and this was the first time we stayed at this location and we will be back again. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Overall we had a great stay and The staff made us feel welcome.
Great place. I stay often for work. But this trip was for pleasure. Rooms could use some updating. But not bad.Location was perfect for me. The lobby was beautiful and had a welcome feeling. They had ice cream out one time I stay not long ago . But havent seen any since
Had a great stay at this hotel for a business trip. The hotel is super convenient to the airport with easy access to highways to get throughout Buffalo. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, did not hear one airplane, super quiet. Rooms were nice. And best part was free soft-serve ice cream in the lobby!
Rooms: clean, newer looking bed and comfortable, bathroom had a bigger size shampoo conditioner and body wash in the bathtub area nice touch; Breakfast: not great, only had ham and eggs as the main dish, would have been nice to have sausage also. Only one waffle maker working and long line to wait. Only had cantaloupe as the fruit; should offer oranges, apples or bananas; Front desk staff: friendly; Final bill: exactly what I expected no hidden fees; Hotel grounds: well kept; Only 30 minute drive to Niagra Falls which was great.
We came down from Toronto with another couple for the weekend for a shopping trip. We have stayed here many times, but this time we found the service and quality has gone hill from our previous stays. We requested king, but we each got one small queen room. Our sheets had holes, the bathroom fan didn’t work. The rooms could use an in room coffee maker. The room is small and dark.Complementary breakfast is very disappointing,we never saw any staff on hand in this area while we were there. We had to clean our own tables before we sat down. The choices were poor. The only fruit was bananas . My girlfriend is lactose intolerant and she could not eat any of the yogurt. I hated having to eat my oatmeal in a paper bowl.Even cafeterias have proper plates and utensils. The rates are the same, but I feel that the amenities and services have gone down.
This place is perfect. Handy to the airport, quiet, comfortable, and clean. Everything was attended to. Fitness room was perfect for us. Breakfast had a decent variety of selections and was nice, healthy, and tasted good. Internet was fast and easy to access. TV had good selection of services. This stay was comfortable and a bargain.
The hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly. The air conditioning Units are very loud so if you are a light sleeper these rooms are not for you. The beds are average for comfort. The complimentary breakfast is very limited to oatmeal, bagels and cereal. The laundry was unavailable
I stayed here for Black Friday with a couple friends. Check in was fast and the staff was the most friendly Ive ever experienced. I needed a featherless room but none were ready at that moment so we were upgraded to a suite at no charge! Room was clean and comfortable and a nice size. Breakfast was the same as other hotel breakfasts but completely fine. I will be choosing this hotel next time I go to buffalo. Amazing experience!
The staff was extremly nice and very helpful and friendly always. The Room was perfect my toddler really enjoyed the pool and complentmenty breakfast oh and let’s not forget the ice cream in the lobby (Thumbs up). Overall I will be returning and make this my primary hotel choice for further trips into buffalo. The hotel is very close to shops, food, airport (Across the street) and many other things to do in the area.
The room was immaculate with white sheets and comforter and rugs that looked newly cleaned. Many cable channels to choose from and thecontinental breakfasts were filling and always stocked. The maids kept my room clean each day and customer service was excellent.Highly recommended for everyone who wants a comfortable stay.
I left off one star because of the rock they have as a sofabed. It was extremely uncomfortable and painful to sleep on! Staff was nice and breakfast was good. They didnt have scrambled eggs and my husband requested they make some since my twins are allergic to cheese they had in the omelette. They did without any hesitation. Clean place overall directly across from the airport.
Inn met our expectations as we came early evening and left very early for flight utilizing the park and shuttle service. Room could have used desk lamps for both beds (one had a very bright floor lamp instead. Also, due to early departure no breakfast available. A little snack, fruit, etc., would have been nice. Staff courteous and friendly, including drivers. Would stay again.
I often stay here when I travel to Buffalo, NY for work. The rooms are nice and always clean. I usually have a hard time finding a pillow that works for me despite the 5 different pillows they put on the bed. All the pillows feel the same to me so I wish there would be some variety if they are providing me with 5 pillows! My favorite feature is the soft ice cream machine at the front door that you can help yourself to any time (provided the machine isnt broken). Note: as of Nov 2018, the ice cream machine is no longer there :(. Note: as of Feb 2019, the ice cream machine is back and with toppings!!Different rooms here seem to have different shower stalls. Some have a curtain, some have a glass door, some showers are bigger than others, some are handicap showers even though to room itself isnt marked handicap. I suggest asking for a bathroom with the glass shower door. Its by far the largest and nicest bathroom Ive had.The exercise room is rarely used so I have no problem using equipment that I want to use.The front desk personnel are typically friendly and helpful. I enjoy asking for local places to eat and get good suggestions 75% of the time.
My daughter and I were traveling with my mother and aunt to a family function more than 7 hours from our home, so we decided to stay the weekend to make it easier on my mom, who is 92, and my aunt, 82. We made a reservation at a fairly affordable hotel for two nights, but ended up checking out after one because it was so dirty. I called the Fairfield Inn and Suites to reserve a room and the woman on the phone was very helpful; I was also pleasantly surprised that the rate wasnt much more than what I had paid at the first place that was so terrible! We packed up and went to the Fairlfield. What a great decision!! The Fairlfield Inn and Suites was a wonderful home away from home for us. It was clean, comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast offered in the morning was wonderful, complete with eggs and sausage as well as coffee, tea, juices, breakfast pastries, fruit, oatmeal and yogurt. It was nice to find proteins offered, and not all carb-based items (like we had at the first hotel) as two of our travelers are diabetic. The staff was wonderful as well. I learned that trying to save a few dollars is costly in the long-run in other ways, and I will not make that mistake again, especially since the Fairfield was actually very reasonably priced! When we were leaving, my daughter turned to me and said, Seriously, mom, thanks for changing us to this place. I will absolutely stay there when I travel to visit my family there again. (Oh, and although we drove, it is so convenient for those who may be flying--it is right across the street from the airport!)
We had an awesome stay at the hotel. The customer service was fantastic. We needed a courtesy pick up and drop for dinner at a nearby restaurant, and they were more than helpful at night. We appreciate the hotels forthcoming staff and would stay at this place again anytime. Also the hotel just got renovated looks like, so everything looks new. They do take care of things.
I would absolutely stay at this Fairfield again. The pros?A clean room from all angles. Many hotels still cannot seem to get this right. This hotel did - from the floors to the vents to the towels and sheets - A+!The staff was very warm and friendly. This is very important to me after traveling for 8+ hours and arriving at midnight. The cons? The breakfast area was an absolute wreck. Since everything else in the hotel was wonderful, I chalked this up to unruly guests acting like animals at a trough instead of anything the staff could ultimately control.
WAS SUPPOSED TO STAY WITH OUR DAUGHTERS SOCCER TEAM AND THE TOUURNAMENT WAS CANCELLED. GOT SWITCHED OVER TO THIS HOTEL BECAUSE OF MAINTENENCE PROBLEMS . WE WERE THE ONLY ONES FROM OUR GROUP THAT WERE SWITCHED. SO ALL OF OUR FRIENDS WERE IN THE OTHER HOTEL. . HOWEVER THEY DID COMP US BECAUSE OF THE MISTAKE. THERE ARE 3 MARRIOTT OWNED HOTELS ACROSS FROM THE AIRPORT. AND THE BEST PART IS STARBUCKS IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE 3 HOTELS.
I called into the hotel to make the reservation, with specific accommodation of 5 people. I asked will there pull out couch to accommodate the extra person, they said yes, so I booked the room. When we arrived on Friday, that was not what we received. We had a 2 queens bed, which was not enough space for the fifth person. I called down to the front desk and made mention of the room and representative stated there was nothing she could do at the time, but she stated she could send up extra covers and blankets. I told her that does not solve the inconvenience of the room. I asked was she the manager and she stated no and that she would send an email so that her manager would get it first thing in the morning. I then asked, do you all have any roll away cots available and she stated they were all taken up. She stated if you call down later, there may be one that becomes available. I called again and a man answered and he stated that he would not be able to provide the cot, because it would be a fire hazard and I said that is not what the lady stated early. So the next morning, I spoke with the manager and still there was nothing that she could do. I asked her what other accommodations could she offer, such as refunding our room, and she stated no because we had a group discount. I then asked for a corporate number and she told me they don;t have one. She did give me her general manager card, in which she stated if I made a complaint it would just be emailed back to her. Overall , it was not a great experience and t was an inconvenience to us a guests and we will not book at this hotel again. I hope that this enough explanation to whomever it concerns, of the inconvenience this will cause future customers if they do not stay true to their reservation accommodations.
The front desk staff were pleasant, knowledgeable, and professionally friendly. They made sure that I was aware of what was available regarding hotel services and area attractions. The room and the dining area were very clean. Not to mention, that the food was fresh and there was a fine array of items to choose from. Excellent customer service!
We recently stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites Buffalo Airport . When we entered we were greeted with a warm welcome. The front desk and staff were very helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Every morning they offered a free breakfast buffet with a lot of choices. An exercise room, indoor pool and Whirlpool was available. We were very pleased with our decision to stay here . They also have free parking and free Wi-Fi. We absolutely loved our stay here. We will definitely return. This hotel is highly recommend!
A wonderful stay with hotel shuttle service, with helpful driver who didnt talk on phone and took bags in and out. Lovely bed linens and such a clean room and facility. Delicious full breakfast, a stress free stay for three day business trip. Not much around there but shuttle goes within three miles. Do not recommend The Landing, I got sick and front desk helped me with ginger ale and some meds.
The hotel was nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A little pricey but it was very busy that Saturday so they didnt have to lower the price. I thought it would have been cheaper being that close to the airport. It was fairly convenient to restaurants and shopping but not walking distance I would say roughly 5 to 6 miles. There is a Starbucks, McDonalds and a couple other small restaurants within walking distance. They have shuttle to the airport which is right across the street.
We recently flew out of Buffalo for a four day get-away and stayed at the Fairfield. This is not the first time and wont be the last! It is clean, convenient and we were able to leave our car parked while we were away. Staff is great...especially the shuttle drivers!!
We recently stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites Buffalo. When we entered we were greeted with a warm welcome. The front desk and staff were very helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. They offered 24-hour free coffee and. Every morning they offered a free breakfast buffet with a lot of choices. An exercise room, indoor pool and whirpool were available. We were very pleased with our decision to stay here. They also have free parking and free WiFi. Hotel is located across from the Buffalo airport so its very convenient for those having to catch an early departures. We absolutely loved our stay here. We will definitely return.
Great place to stay. Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. I always get a good nights sleep staying at this hotel. Breakfast is better then the normal complimentary breakfast. The staff keeps the breakfast area very clean and are always present. Just across from the airport. A two minute shuttle ride.
As a Marriott member they always offer us an upgraded room upon check in. Ample parking, clean hotel, close to all highways and shopping. We enjoy staying here when visiting the Buffalo area. Would love to see a Gluten free option offered for breakfast- perhaps Cheerios as one of the cereal choices instead of fruit loops or Rice Krispies. As someone who needs to eat Gluten free there wasn’t much to eat for breakfast.
Stayed the night. 4 of us shared a room, a little overpriced for what it was. The breakfast was something to be desired eaten in a small overcrowded area behind the lobby. The pool was a bit of a turn off, could use a good cleaning. Overall a place to rest your head. We would book here again, if nothing else was available based on the cleanliness of the room and friendly staff.
I am very impressed of my stay at the Fairfield Suite. From check in to my return to the airport was excellent. All the amenities were great. (16)All of the staff was friendly, attentive and showed concern, which is hard to find in this day and time. It was very clean and comfortable. I had a beautiful stay and I highly recommend the Fairfield Suites.
It is convenient and reasonably priced. The breakfast is great. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The only thing that is missing is something to eat for those of us who arrive late. I am not suggesting a dinner room, but some boxed healthful food...like Jet Blue Airlines has.
The fairfield inn and suites is a good location if you need to only be by the airport but it is not close to downtown. you need to take expensive cabs or ubers which make the cost savings not worth it. i couldnt get a room downtown for some reason so i stayed here out of necessity not by choice. the dining area for free breakfast was horrible. there is no other way to describe it. the hotel shuttle took 30 minutes to get me when i could have gotten a cab and the hotel would have paid for it. i asked for compensation to downtown in the form of covering 1 way of my ride but was refused. their offer of 5000 marriot rewards points was begrudgingly accepted. the extra expense i ended up paying was not worth it. uber decided to double its rate to just under 35.00 so the savings by staying at the airport were wasted because of no other way to get to downtown buffalo.
The Fairfield Inn at the Airport in Buffalo, NY, is the best place to stay when departing for a business or pleasure trip. The Shuttle makes it easy coming and leaving on time to catch an early plane. Courteous staff are a pleasure to do business with, the room and hotel was clean, updated, and very nice for a quick or longer stay. I parked my car there while away, for a reasonable price, and got in it for a 2 hr. drive back to my home. I recommend this place!
Hotel is right across street from airport but not noisy for sleeping! Complimentary breakfast, ample parking, very reasonably priced. Staff was friendly. Common area has just dining chairs...no lounge chairs. Breakfast is basic (meh eggs, some kind of sausage patty, Chobani yogurt!!, bananas/apple/oranges, waffles/bagels...not much for GF folks). Coffee/tea available all day!! Poor water was cloudy (due to chemicals??), but hot tub was fine! Would consider staying here again...price was right.
If youre looking for a clean, comfortable room near the airport, this is your place! The hotel is directly across from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport and the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service. The hotel is clean and modern. And the part I love best: its comfortable. I live less than 30 minutes from the airport, but when I have an early morning flight, I hate having to get up extra early and worry about parking. This was the best option for me and came with free breakfast to boot! The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and comfortable. If youre here on business or need a place near the airport, I highly recommend this hotel.
I love the convenience of this hotel being right across from Buffalo Airport. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. It is nice to be able to count on the airport shuttle as early as 4:30 AM. The breakfast buffet is very nice and plentiful. It is great to see Fruit Loops for children. The pool very nice and whirlpool hot. All in all we love this hotel whenever our travels bring us to Buffalo NY
This hotel provides their guests with good quality service in many areas. Very adequate parking in a well lighted area and the grounds are well kept.A complimentary full breakfast, both hot and cold with plenty of seating in a pleasant atmosphere. Our room was clean and bright and very accommodating for 4 adults.Plenty of shopping and restaurants close by and is right across from Buffalo Airport.
This hotel has always provided me with an excellent experience in all aspects of hotel accommodations. The staff is well trained, friendly, professional and always willing to please. The rooms are clean and well maintained. And the location provides easy access not only to the airport but the expressways leading to the city, all surrounding communities and of course Niagara Falls.
The hotel was always clean, the continental breakfast, with the hot waffles, was fantastic and well maintained. The highlight was the Friday evening soft service ice cream in the front lobby, great snack before bed! All the staff was friendly and helpful. Great location by the airport, not far from Galleria Mall and a few quaint restaurants close by for dining.(Dannys and McPartlans) Starbucks and Tim Hortons also nearby for a quick coffee (snack) pick-me-up. Would definitely stay here again.
I stayed at Fairfield Inn And Suites Marriott in Buffalo, NY on Feb 3 and 8, 2015. I had driven to this inn from Leaskdale, ON Canada (about 2.5 h away). For a reasonable fee, they let me leave my car until the 8th since I had to fly to Houston, TX on the 4th. After a lengthy delay between flights in Chicago, I returned to the inn on the 8th asked for a room and spent the night. Desk staff were polite and accommodating. Towels were plush and soft following my shower. The winged arm chair was comfortable while I watched tv and sipped a cup of freshly brewed coffee.Prices are competitive and this inn was a great place to stay.
Convient to airport. CleanBreakfast person not very friendly....the food was not very well stocked. We had family fly into the airport. We thought a complimentary shuttle was provided.Since our family arrived at 1:30 am a shuttle was not available however a complimentary cab was available. This was not a very good experience. A car was there to pick them up they had skis & the driver had no ideas where the hotel was located !!The staff was friendly but I will not return to this Mariott property when I am in Buffalo.

This hotel is among a flurry of hotels including 4 of the Marriott brands all together in a cluster; for the price point this is more than adequate for a quick overnight stay; comfortable, clean and reliable - even though its maybe not the newest one in the strip it will meet even the fussiest travel.
The hotel is very close to the airport and convenient. The room was nice and the staff was very helpful in accommodating us. Very speedy as well. The breakfast Im the morning was ok. The scrambled eggs were gone and the cheese omlete were stuck to he pan and overdone from the heaters I think. Otherwise the other options were very good.
From Check-in to checkout, Fairfield met and in some cases exceed our expectations. Very friendly staff, check-in was super efficient. Rooms are nice and new, spacious, very comfortable bed, good breakfast and free parking!. Sad that I didnt get a chance to use the pool and fitness facilities. Next time !
Shower is musty, water from shower and tap very stale and smells that way. Towels were dirty. Room is fine, nice to have fridge. Beds comfortable, A/C works well. Computer in lobby was not working and front desk person didnt give a crap - just looked at us like we were crazy and said to call corporate about it. Trash excuse if you ask me. We needed to print out tickets for an event.
The rooms and facilities were recently renovated and are clean. The rooms and suites are average sized, convenient and comfortable. The bathrooms are large. The rooms have refrigerators but no microwave. Suites have both. There is a self-serve breakfast in the morning and soft serve ice cream snack in the afternoon. There is a shuttle service to the airport that was convenient and on time. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are small things that make you feel welcome like umbrellas you can use when it rains.Even though it is located directly across from the airport I did not notice airplane noise.A good place to stay in whine in Buffalo.
And when I travel I see that as a good thing. We spent a few days on activities in the Buffalo / Rochester / Niagara Falls area between Christmas and New Years. Not the Taj Mahal or 5 star dining but excellent value for the money. Facilities clean and comfortable; amenities / equipment well maintained and access hours generous; standard choices for breakfast but hot choices easily beats a continental; staff was friendly and helpful, centrally located. Would definitely stay again.
This hotel was very comfortable, clean and the staff was great. Transportation was provided from airport and to and from restaurant. There was a ice cream/root beer social. Breakfast was good. Have nothing bad to say about our stay. Would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
This was the first time we have stayed here and we would definitely stay again. Very clean, nice pool and a hot tub. The free breakfast at Fairfield inns are great lots of selection with everything from fresh fruit to hot and cold cereal to bacon, eggs, and fresh waffles.
I usually stay at another hotel chain that offers suites, but on this trip (for personal/family travel), we decided to try the Fairfield Inn & Suites. We had a king suite for five nights. Overall, my stay exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly to us, helpful and professional. We didnt have any issues. Noise levels were minimal for us while we were in our room. Really the only two things that I could suggest be different are to have the toilet separate from the sink, as opposed to a single room for the bathroom with everything in it, and slightly better hot food items at breakfast.
We were there for a softball tournament & the hotel was excellent!! Even though you are across from the airport you could not hear anything. The rooms were clean, food was good & everyone was so nice. We have stayed in plenty of hotels because of traveling for sports & this hotel was one of the nicest ones
This is a nice hotel to stay at. It is very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. There was some remodeling going on during our stay, but you would never know it except for crossing paths with some of the workers. The lobby area is a comfortable place to socialize or work in. It has wi-fi and plenty of wired internet spots too!
Stayed recently at this hotel and was one of the most disappointing Marriott experience. The room A/C was not working and we were moved 3 times. The Staff were nice and trying to help, though. The hotel had no things to do magazines and there was no water in the lobby either. All in all mediocre experience.
We were debating staying the night before our trip, and we are glad we did. The experience was wonderful right from our check in, to our airport shuttle pick up the following week. Highly recommend the Fairfield Inn Buffalo Airport if you are looking for a place to stay and park around your travel plans.

2022-05-08Was a very enjoyable stay! Entire staff was pleasant. Everyone at the front desk was pretty amazing which really could make or break a stay. Breakfast was enough. Room was very clean. Pool was heated & also very clean. Gym was clean. 2 minor negatives which would NOT impact my recommendation or my future stay would be that the tv in the bedroom is slightly small & the bed is not the most comfortable I’ve slept on but I was very impressed with the soundproofing; couldn’t hear any outside noise & barely heard my neighbors at all. Very easy area to travel & navigate. Visited Niagara & Canada side as well as Jamestown but being 3 min from the airport when returning home was priceless. I’d say a rental is a must though , not much to eat or do near the hotel. Thank you for making my stay at Buffalo a great one !

2022-06-03This place is tucked away next to the airport. Located perfectly on a main street, you have access to numerous places. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was actually worth the visit. Would definitely return.

2022-05-23Charles was such a pleasure as we checked in.He was so delightful chatting with us and seeming genuinely welcoming to us as we he was getting us set up. The pool was fun and big but not too deep.

2022-06-10Booked 2 rooms together wz the expectation rooms will be next to each other but the rooms were far apart. Request for 2 rooms together during check in was denied. We were told at least it’s in the same floor. Moreover they have 1 staff during check in time to handle guests which must be quite overwhelming for the staff. When we called room service and asked for extra sugar packets the response was - we are short staffed so you can either come to lobby and get it or wait till we find someone to sent to the room and it’s going to take a while

2022-06-01Positive: Proximity to airport Negative: They didnt have handsoap in the bathroom! I asked downstairs, assuming they had just forgotten to place it in ours, and the concierge said there is a shortage and they are only putting it in rooms when people ask. Gross!

2022-01-03Positive: What I liked best was the breakfast and staff. I also enjoyed my room even though you tv was a bit small Negative: What I didnt like was I didnt get the suit I booked I just got a regular room an I also didnt like that I didnt have a fresh roll of toilet paper on the roll or atleast a new roll to replace the one that was almost empty.
