Jekyll and Hyde. First visit with six other people in small space, everyone having a good time. Next visit to pick up glasses was fine, treated well by daughter (sorry cant remember her name even though she says it each time.). Last visit due nauseousness for six days with new glasses. Had hoped to talk about what options they would recommend. However, there was never an opportunity to talk as I was treated like dirt from the initial phone call from the parking lot (on my way home) to the time I walked out. I was very polite and flexible, offering to come another time, just let me know when. He was rude, rude, rude, from the beginning of conversation, making it very clear I was taking him away from something important. Example: shutting the door as I came in while saying JESUS!. No apology, just rudeness from him, cold shoulder from her. And he didnt have any clients, he was putting up shelving or something. They did give me my money back without a hassle, except for the $98 doctor visit. He told me I should see another doctor in case my prescription was wrong, so thats me out $98. I did not, nor I suspect did any of the others who have written here and all the others who just walked out and didnt leave a review, deserve to be treated with such rudeness. I didnt say anything or do anything to be treated badly. Seems they are good if there is no issue, if there is the slightest problem, they dont know how to handle it nor have the skills. Go somewhere, anywhere else.

Rich has been my optician for years. He and his daughter are terrific. Real pros, good prices, always a lot of fun. I followed him when he moved from Collegetown to Dryden years ago. Worth the drive!

Rich and his daughter far exceeded my expectations when I showed up with no appointment for help with my broken glasses. 35 minutes later I walked out with a replacement frame at a very fair price and that I liked better than my original frame. I was expecting the process would take several weeks. Many thanks Falcon Optical.

This place is incredible. Im not an easy customer to deal with by any means-- relatively careless and clumsy. I wear my glasses more often than contacts and when I broke them, they popped the lenses out, put them into another pair of frames and fixed my broken ones for free. When I came home for the holidays once, I forgot to pack my contacts. They ordered me a week of contacts at no cost. I still go to them exclusively despite moving several states away after graduation. The quality and service is 100% worth the slightly higher price tag!

I never hesitate to criticize businesses when I feel improvements can be made, but my experience at Falcon this weekend was GREAT. SUPERB repair. I regret that I forgot his name but the optician who did my repair was top notch. Nice guy too. He spent a lot of time making sure my glasses were repaired correctly, adjusted to fit my face, and CLEAN. Im pretty blind without my specs and I sure appreciated it. Saved me from buying a new pair at a time when I couldnt afford it.

This is one of the few places that will try to get medicaid approval, but the owner is very rude and obnoxious.My daughter had to cancel several appointments due to an infection in her eyes that took several weeks toheal. Although my daughter is 37 years old, she has disabilities and is unable to drive. She also attends groups for her disabilities. Despite the fact that she provided a doctors note, her group leader was not veryunderstanding. The owner cancelled the last appointment because of a conflict. When we tried to reschedule it, we werehaving difficulty coming up with a time that would work for us. It was just a bad week. At the same time my daughter was getting frustrated because shes been wearing a broken pair of glasses with an outdated prescription. She has to tape them to her face. I called the owner to ask him one question and he was disrespectful and rude and hung up on me.So much for a family owned business.

Excellent service and great hours. Very patient oriented, when they couldnt reach me they called my sister in-law for the correct phone number! That is above and beyond what they needed to do and why I will always highly recommend Falcon Optical. Plus large variety of glasses. Good people. Five Stars All the Way!

Selection? You can travel far and wide- big city or small town and never find such a wide selection of frames for the trendy and traditional alike. Service? This is a family run business. Rich, the Optician, is METICULOUS about getting YOUR glasses RIGHT. Celina, his daughter, is funky and smart and fun. BOTH are kind beyond words. Although you may encounter some good natured teasing, there is no fooling around when it comes to making sure your glasses are perfect. I have high expectations for eyewear- I expect to be able to SEE, the best that the technology and the health of my eyes will allow. Price? All ranges. There are reasons that Rich works long hours and the store is so busy - customers come from far beyond Dryden to this gem of a store. And they come back. You can go high end designer frames with HD lenses, or you can tell them you are on a budget. Regardless, NO BUSINESS will work harder for your satisfaction. Falcon Optical EARNS their business. Go once and you will always go back. Always.

Very unprofessional. Funny that a family owned business treats their own family like garbage. Disrespected me, my fiance and most importantly my son. I understand that if u dont want to serve someone, u dont have too. Its your right to do so! But dont disrespect those u turn away for personal reasons. Especially potential customers you dont even know. Not one ounce of class in that establishment! Oh yeah I will tell everyone I know to go get ur optical needs at a reputable place of business. Unlike the unnecessary hatred thats bred in your place of employment! Enjoy!
