This Family Dollar needs more in the shelves. I was disappointed with the options.
This family dollar is sooo bad! first off they are suppose to be open at 8 they didnt open until 8:15 -8:20 then the store is dirty shelves not stocked and track sitting in the middle of the floor at the front door! This area has enough stores that dont have what this area needs so family dollar being here and not even having loaves of bread on shelves is unacceptable! The whole store needs to be thrown away! DONT GO TO THIS FAMILY DOLLAR EXPECTING ANYTHING EXCEPT TO BE ON LONG LINES AND FOR THEM NOT TO HAVE WHAT THE STORE IS SUPPOSE TO HAVE!
Nobody at this location says hi how are you nothing look right at you and don’t say nothing ! Very rude also I spoke to the cashier women she didn’t say not a word her whole vibe and attitude was not pleasant those workers need a customer service classs foreal

I love the family Dollarall the items you can get a 12 pack of toilet tissue for $2.75 thats less than a quarter. Cheaper than Walmart a 12-pack at Walmart no name brand at that kind of ridiculous if he asked me the same stuff just sold at a different store cheaper at family Dollar to buy toilet paper there are two such as air fresheners 99 cents.. febreze the air freshener is $4.99. at Walmart price of $5.99 to $6.99. its quite amazing how FCCallowed to charge different prices in different stores
I went to the family dollar store on south pearl st to get sodas they had a sale sign on them and the manager there didnt homor me the sale of the sodas because they employers made a mistakw and didnt take the sale sign off so i had to pay the full cost of the 3 sodas for 180 instead of a dollar a bottle of 2 liter sodas im mad
Just stop going there .I was spending about 50 bucks in that store when I get to the counter they have no bags available not even to purchase I was then told to just carry my items by hand whT a disgrace

Always in a state of disarray, stock carts in the aisle ,runs out of common things ,like quarters for change from purchases, they stepped they game up since dollar general move in the old rite aid store

2022-04-24Going to family Dollar is it indecent store its always clean but the stocks the stocky needs to be done more often because then I go on a wheelchair scooter and the end caps are a problem. So the end caps needs to be done differently maybe set higher so when I make that turn into the next aisle I can get around it the aisles are narrow. Its hard to maneuver in there for me and my wheelchair scooter. So anyway thats that the prices are reasonable the staff is always friendly. And thats how I feel about family Dollar

2021-12-15As a disabled man I look for places that are accessible. This is one. Although at times there are carts in the aisles but the staff will move them with no problem. Speaking of the aisles they are wide enough for my chair. The end caps need to be end caps and not obstruct the aisles. Prices are nominal. And selection is decent.

2020-12-13Family Dollar downtown has changed greatly then skirt the security has improved at the door and nobody people steal from here and if they do I hope they get caught. Other than that was very neat and clean today well organized and they were doing some stocking but they made sure of their customers safety first. The cashiers were very polite and understanding. And I had a good shopping visit

2020-09-16Alot of the shelves needed restocking but theres a good amount to choose from normally. They have not had bags paper or plastic even to purchase and today there was a line going down the Isles! There was one register open but three employees behind the counter the whole time; we were all expecting that they woukd open the other register yet two of them stood there talking the whole time! All of us waiting in line were disgusted how long we waited listening to them talk (not about job related topics either)!

2021-08-23This store has been having a clearance sale for the longest time. The large yellow clearance sign is just a ploy to get people in. The store shelves are constantly under stocked. It has a general ghetto vibe and people try to steal from it all the time. I have not and would shop there. The place needs a spiritual cleansing.3 year edit: I went to this store recently and it has improved. No more empty shelves, theyve changed the placement of merchandise. Such as the freezer section has moved to a new part of the store. The full shelves give the impression that the store is doing better. They got rid of the forever clearance sign. I have to say one thing thought that is on the negative side though. The store had only one employee working that day, from what I can tell, and the poor dear looked absolutely miserable! Whether that is from working in this family dollar or not, I cannot say. I decided to give the store 3 stars, thats 2 more than I gave it in my initial review.

2020-01-03Do not go to this location! I only went by accident because I was going through the neighborhood. it is the dirtiest store Ive ever been in. There are empty shelves everywhere. Maybe its all on the floor because I was stunned as i had to walk over items all over the floor. My girlfriend had a small fanny pack around her waist and they demanded to hold onto it! Oh noway. It had all her credit cards in there. The girl at the front register was talking on her cell phone while smacking her gum so fabulously loud. Took a moment to rudely tell the person on the other end that she gots a customer then had an attitude problem ringing us out. Apparently we interrupted her very important phonecall. There are security tags on everything. I mean everything this store should really close down or go under new ownership. It is the absolute worst business Ive ever stepped foot in. I have never seen a family dollar run this way. It is a safety hazard to even walk the store. I wish I could give zero stars.

2021-05-20I like family Dollar they have good items there and reasonable prices and the staff is very friendly please note you cannot bring your own bags in you leave them at the front counter and then do your shopping and then pick them up when youre done shopping
