Great place to go for cost effective cleaning products, tealights, puffs tissue and lemon drops when you have a cold and your throat is sore.They already have the Valentines day candy out giant heat shaped boxes of high caloric chocolate goodness for just $10.00, 2018 calendars and journals for cheap.
Vestal Ave. Family Dollar was not open for business at 8:00 am on Monday 3/9/20, gone back at 8:40 am and still wasnt open. They dont have dependable employees. Its not the first time or last time to open later then they are supposed to, Plus If family dollar cares about their customers they wouldnt allow their employees to smoke cigarettes right outside the store. Sorry folks, enough is enough, BBB is my next stop‼
Prices are decent for the on-sale things but for everyday things, youre better off going elsewhere.Usually an ungodly wait to check out and staff are clearly more helpful to friends than to regular customers.
All of the employees are great at this store.. Very helpful. Always stocking shelves.. Im happy with my experience and the help i get..

2021-11-07The parking for this store and mini plaza is terrible. It is congested and parking spots are small, making it difficult to navigate.This is by far the dirtiest Family Dollar. The floors are disgusting. The cooler door handles are sticky and even shelving seems distraught throughout. The store had multiple bare shelves and the two store clerks not friendly at all.

2022-03-29This was my first visit to this store, and I was pleasantly surprised. The store was neat, clean and organized. The prices are definitely comparable to other stores, and there was a dairy and frozen food section. The store was well stocked.Ill definitely be back.

2022-02-19Store is usually on the messy side. For the most part the employees are nice and polite. A few exceptions there but all around decent folks. Prices: ehhh. Honestly MOST items that are similar or the same can be purchased at Walmart for less. The store brand items are cheap. Both in price and quality.

2021-11-17Did you know the parent company of FD is Dollar Tree ?They have true bargain items here, and you do get some very competent sales and stock help. Included here are many dollar selections, but if you want to save even more (bucks, time or if you have ebt), may be best to go to Dollar Tree on Main St., or in JC.

2021-07-10Carries a variety of goods from food to clothes to small furniture (small tables / nightstands) to greeting cards to toys to seasonal goods to shampoo to shoes. Basically any small item you they probably have it.
