Just recently had family fence put up a pvc fence. Quality work, quality product, great price. Extremely professional company. From estimate to completion I couldnt be more happy.

Let me begin by saying I am a perfectionist and detail oriniented. And I was NOT persuaded in any way to write this review. I decided to do so because I know the process of finding the right company can be extremely difficult and time consuming, and hoped my experience would make those of another easier.Prior to selecting Family Fence, I had reached out to several companies but always felt people couldnt fully answer my questions or address my inquiries. Despite their price being on the higher end, I went with Family Fence because they spent time explaining the process in great detail, answered all my queries, and provided the personal attention that other companies lacked. In addition, all their products were made in the USA and came with a lifetime guarantee. Finally, I never felt rushed or like they were trying to take advantage of me.Family Fence was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. The first time I called, they spent 20 minutes talking to me on the phone answering all my questions, they emailed me samples of work they had done, and when I went to visit their store, they spent an hour explaining the actually process, outlining the time line, cost and installation process. Everything we discussed was transcribed on paper and I received several calls throughout the process following up and ensuring everything was to my liking and specification.The men who installed the fence were hard working and detail oriented. I strongly recommend this company, specifically if one is interested in installing a cable wire fence.Finally, since the fence was installed, I have had strangers ring my bell to find out who installed it and if I would pass along their contact information. I wish Family Fence would mail me a flag with their contact information so I could place in my garden and continue to promote their company and exceptional service
I only needed about 20ft of fencing installed so was hesitant to call a big fence company figuring that they would consider the job too small. Not so with family lumber, they were happy to take on the project and did an amazing job. The entire experience from start to finish was smooth sailing. I would definitely recommend Family Fence to handle any job whether small or large.

BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!As a new homeowner, home renovations can be scary. Scary in the sense of what company is trustworthy, reliable, and reasonably affordable.We needed a new fence for the backyard, so we did our typical investigation online through reviews and looked into different fencing company. When we came across Family Fence, we loved all of the positive reviews. When we went in person to book an appointment, they were quick to book us in and get straight to work.At Family Fence, they listened to our concerns and even sent one of their professionals to come out and check out our property (we had a tree that had been recently removed and the roots uplifted the fencing area).Once the fence was installed, the compliments from friends and family started coming in. Our two neighbors, whose fence had to be taking down (we live on a corner property) LOVED the work and fence quality.Recently, we had a minor issue with the gate closing. We contacted them through email and told them about the concern. No joke, within 48 hours, they sent one of their professionals over to help fix the gate lock. BRAVO! We know it’s the Spring/Summer season, but they TRULY care about their customers. I HIGHLY recommend this company for ALL fencing needs on Long Island!
Wonderful experience getting our new cedar wood fence installed by Family Fence. Gennaro, who took our yard measurements is not only a great guy but patiently sat down with us to hammer out every last detail—ensuring we get the end product we were after. Frank in the shop was also very helpful updating us with the status of the project and showing us a small model of our exact fence. Of course we love our new fence thanks to Family Fence and Pablo and his installation crew who did a great job—very professional. Thanks guys for making my garden pop!
Family Fence is a class act from start to finish. First contact was with Anthony to set up appointment for an estimate. Absolute gentleman and professional. He did the estimate and we decided to go with them based on that and the rave reviews on line. The installers were courteous and respectful of us and our property. We couldnt be more pleased. We now have beautifully fenced in backyard. We highly recommend them.
Everyone at Family Fence was lovely to work with, from initial scheduling, to getting an estimate, to installation and beyond. Our fence was installed last June and recently our driveway gate seemed to loosen due to the heat (and very frequent use). We are extremely happy with our new Grand Illusions wood-grain fence. We originally were told a super long wait for the fence based on the factory due to COVID. However, it came in faster than expected and we are very pleased. Pablo and his crew did fantastic work- clean, courteous, professional and made sure he did the job to our liking. This is the second time Ive used Family Fence for a fence project and they did not disappoint. The workmen were excellent. They arrived on time and remained on the job for hours until the entire fence was installed. They had some tricky spots and had to maneuver around trees but the installation was absolutely perfect. I am very pleased with the overall look of my new fence, the professionalism of the workers, the excellent pricing and the fact that the owner called to follow up to ensure that all went well. That kind of quality service is hard to find.
Can’t say enough good things about this company!!!!! Had vinyl fencing installed 2 years ago and had a good experience then. After this winter I noticed one of the picket caps had blown off and was nowhere to be found. This spring I contacted Frank ( office manager) to see how I could get a replacement. He couldn’t have been more accommodating. Not only was he able to get me a matching replacement, he also gave me a few extra. Then, he refused to accept any payment !!!! I highly recommend this company!!!
Excellent experience. Fence looks beautiful, installers did an outstanding job. I got white cedar fence. It is picture perfect. Price was very reasonable. It took one full day to install for a crew of three people. They came on time, knew their craft, cleaned the site. I have nothing but compliments for the crew. About owners: I had some last minute changes and they found a way to accommodate. Everybody in this company is polite, welcoming and just a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.
Dealing with Family Fence, specifically Frank, was a pleasure all the way around, from their first visit for an estimate, to our visit at the showroom, to the day of installation. Everyone was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, and they took their time explaining and guiding us through our choices. Absolutely awesome! The best service, and best price for product. I absolutely love my new fence!!! I shopped around for sometime since there are so many fencing companies but Family Fence proved to be the best. They have outstanding financing- Zero percent interest for 18 months!!! Everyone was courteous and efficient every step of way. I first met with Vincent for measuring and some selection, then I decided to go into the showroom where I was treated like family😁. Wonderful experience start to finish. Joe came to house to give estimate and was spot on with great suggestions. Gave deposit next week, and work was scheduled and started following week,much to my surprise. Crew headed by Pablo could not have been nicer or more professional. Started my job at 9:10am, and worked straight through day finishing at 8:45pm.Pablo was in sync with us throughout the process, stopping to ask our opinion throughout job. The entire crew were extremely accommodating and thorough. Would not hesitate to recommend Family Fence. Staff in office are also super helpful, and very pleasant to work with. Price competitive. This was our first experience with Family Fence and we chose this company for our porch railings based on the great reviews. We were not disappointed at all! From our first meeting at the office to figure out the style we wanted to the completion of the job, our experience was friendly and everything went smoothly. I needed a new PVC fence installed at my house and called up Family Fence about a free estimate. Estimator was at my house at the appointed time and discussed options and price with me. No pressure from the estimator to sign up. Next day I contacted the company and arranged for them to do the job. I send in a deposit and a date and time was set. Installers came right on time. They started the work and I could see they were pros. I have been in construction for decades and I know good work when I see it. When the job was finished it came out perfect. The grounds were cleaned up and the men left. For anyone looking for a good company with very fair prices I would highly recommend Family Fence

During one of the crazy wind storms we had recently, the gate on my moms PVC fence blew off. Having used Family Fence in the past, I immediately reached out to Jack from the office and he was so responsive and helpful.. he immediately put my sisters and I in touch with Frankie. Positive experience with Family Fence. Had a patio railing installed. Very satisfied with quality and design, as well as the overall installation. Minus a star since I attempted to adjust my design a few weeks prior to install date by adding a trim piece but was dissuaded by a necessary/reported restocking fee as the original posts/rail? size would have to be modified up and original sizing were already ordered from manufacturer. Thought the fair lead time would suffice. I would recommend Family for all fencing needs.

I had a fence installed by another company that was much cheaper at the time. Let me tell you i was penny wise and dollar foolish and at the end of the day it cost me more money. This time I know I got it right with Family Fence. Icalled them and they informed me of their back log of work and were honest from day one which I appreciate. They also informed me after I got the quote unfortunately with all the volatility in the economy prices were subject to change. I booked the job right then and there with their sales rep. I got a call immediately and was scheduled. They promised me they would inform me of any earlier availability and they did. I’m so happy to have my fence delivered ahead of schedule with the high quality of installation as promised. From Manuel the foreman who dealt with my crazy neighbor to the kind office staff, thank you so much for making my home a pleasant place in these tough times. They are absolutely amazing!!! I received a letter from my homeowners insurance company telling me that they were going to cancel my insurance if I didnt put up a railing by 5/21/2020 in the middle of a pandemic. I called Frank once I received this letter and he was very honest and sad that at that time he was unable to help. I begged and he said due to government restrictions and safety concerns unfortunately he couldnt help. He then took the time to explain if any construction was done on a home fines would be given to his company and myself as a homeowner. He said once he has the go ahead from New York and the town he would be right there to help me and boy was he ever!!! He put me on the list and he got my fence put up and my homeowners insurance stayed in place.He spoke to me truthfully and did exactly what he said he was going to do. I am fortunate to be in an industry where your word and referrals go a long way. I would never refer anyone but Family Fence!! We completed a virtual quote and there were no hidden costs and he showed up timely and there were no excuses and in fact he was able to fit me even earlier then our original date that we set. We just had Family Fence install a black aluminum fence in our yard (with two entry gates). It looks amazing. First off, when I was calling for the initial estimate they were able to come for the estimate the very next day during their busy season. (I had called another company for an estimate as well who never even called me back.)When we decided to change the layout of the fence the day it was being installed, they accommodated it without any question or pushback. The crew that was there to install it made suggestions as to how it would look best and eased any concerns that I had. When they were done installing, we were missing two fence panels (because I had changed the layout to a larger area) and they were back in 2 days (!!!!) to finish the job once the panels they ordered arrived!The installers were very nice, professional and worked all day to get the job done quickly, they were also very neat and the fence looks great.Family Fence was an amazing choice for my family’s home and they’ll be my first call for any future needs

Family Fence did a great job installing a replacement fence in my back yard. They were able to get me cedar stockade that other companies could not or would not special order. The installers showed up on time, worked quickly and also did a great job on the difficult sloping portion of my yard.
I had a new pvc fence put in to replace my old wood fence. The workers were very nice guys,. They took away all old fences and hung new fence without disturbing any of mine or my neighbors property. Family Fence just installed a new PIC fence around my property and it looks great! I cant speak to durability yet, since its been only a few days, but the warranty is good just in case. I found them to be very reliable. They showed up when they said they would. They called when they said they would. And they were more cost effective than other estimates. Overall a very positive experience.
Best company that I’ve dealt with since I’ve moved to Nassau County. They gave me a great price, constructed a beautiful fence, and were a pleasure to deal with. Then a few months later, some punk decided to knock one of my fence sections down in the middle of the night. So I called Family Fence and they came back to repair it the next morning, free of charge. Overall great company, and If there were more than five stars, they’d get those also.

Came on agreed times, i actually had to swap the times around a bunch of times and they were always willing to work with me and re-schedule. They were the only fence company who showed up for the estimate when they were supposed to! Price was fair so we just went with them. Easy installation and the quality of the PVC is top notch. will probably use them again in a few years when my wood fence the previous homeowners installed rots out-
Had a new railing installed on a side stoop. Was scheduled for a specific day, but weather prevented that date. Company was in touch about cancellation and rescheduled another date. They were always in communication with us which we appreciated. The railing was installed as promised with no fuss. All cleanup was done neatly. I would recommend.

Really great experience. Fence looks great and work was done on time as stated without issue. Customer service was excellent as well. It is extremely rare to have a contractor come to your home, perform a job, and leave without the homeowner wondering what just happened. Family Fence was that rare exception. They showed up at the time they said they would, the two chaps were dressed decently in shirts bearing the company name, they were very polite, they went over the scope of the job with me, they completed the job way faster than I expected. After they were done, the only evidence that they were on my property was the sparkling new white fence they had just erected.Way to go Family Fence!!

Had some iron railings replaced on a brick stoop and basement entrance. Product quality seems to be excellent. All appointments were on time and workmanship was excellent. Price was not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Happy to have found family fence and will use them again .

I walked into Family Fence a few months ago and I am glad I did. Initially I had the pleasure of speaking to Anthony who was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He helped to go over what needed to be done. It turns out they had filed an estimate I had got last year but was as not quite ready to do. Having all the measurements all I needed to do was add a gate. Remember this quote was from last summer. With a slight adjustment in cost I scheduled an appointment. Thank you Anthony!!!. I called a few weeks later with a question and spoke with Frank who answered all my questions and again I was sure that I had chosen the right company. I got a few quotes from a few other fence companies. I went to few fence companies to get quotes Rose Fence, Amendolas and some other company whom worked out of their garage. I got the quotes and all of them were right in line with one another but i wasnt happy with the way the salesmen from all 3 of these companies conducted themselves, like they didnt need my business but they would do me a favor. The quotes i received were between $3000 - $3300. One of my friends said the same thing that they got a few quotes and they got the typical salesmen attitude. He told me to call Family Fence who he used their services for his fencing needs. I called up to set an appointment and within a day I had a salesmen come to my home. He was extremely informative of all the products they had to offer and very knowledgeable about the overall installation. Family Fence gave me a quote for the same layout but they were a little more. The salesmen explained to me that their are different qualities and grades of Pvc fence, that some manufactures use recycled plastic in their Pvc products. I did some of my own research and found that not only was I getting a better product from Family Fence but I was also getting much better service. I checked with the BBB and Consumer Affairs and found many companies had complaints, I also checked Google reviews and found many companies had unsatisfied customers and unresolved complaints. I left a deposit with Family Fence to do my fence at my home. Everything they said from start to finish they did, they arrived on the date we made for my fence to be installed their installers were outstanding, very clean, neat and respectful and they exceeded all my my expectations. This is a outstanding company to deal with, they arent cocky, they are a true business with integrity and excellent customer service. I’ve used Family Fence over the past 15+ years at several residences. I am always pleased with their products and workers. They bend over to please and answer any questions I have. Recently I had PVC railings done on a house in Mastic Beach and truly believed it helped sell the house for me.
Was looking to get a small fence installed and also have some repairs to my existing fence. I received a call back and once I told them what I was looking for, I was told the job was too small and they wouldn’t make enough money. Definitely not the way to do business. Would not recommend

Appointment for Quote was March 3rd , received the quote March 14 by email. Delayed but ok no problem. A few weeks later I got really sick with Covid-19. Than planet was put on quarantine. Called yesterday got a voicemail pretty much saying not giving any new quotes but if you have received a quote then leave info for call back. Today received a call back telling me I was given the wrong price. Was told the guy who wrote up the quote was in training also said the difference was like 1000. This was the 5th quote I received roughly all about same price (+or- 150) only reason i wanted to go with this company was for the reviews. I can understand a few 100 but $1000 more. Its a shame.

Terrible customer service experience. The office employees attitude is customer is never right. Its more like they feel that they are doing you a favor. Better hope installation goes well otherwise good luck getting them to fix the problem. After the fence is in youre nothing to them anymore.

2021-06-26Friendly and quick service. Called them on Friday, had a very nice rep come out next week and price on the spot. Reasonable pricing, scheduled install 4 weeks later. Called me in 2 weeks that they had an opening and installed after only 2 weeks from estimate over 200 feet of vinyl fence. Clean professional installation done in 1 day. Would definitely recommend to others.

2022-04-18Our contractor highly recommended family fence & as always he was right!! they provide top notch service & product. they just installed an iron railing in the front of my house after a renovation and it was installed seamlessly. in 2018 they installed an aluminum railing in the back of my house & it was perfect as well. when the front railing need came up, we didn’t shop anywhere else…their stellar customer service and excellent quality in product & installation are priceless.

2022-01-17Hello,I used family Fence for installation of a 6ft vinyl fence with two gates around my property. Frank was excellent in terms of follow up right up to the last part of the job. His team were excellent during the installation and cleaned up everything immaculately. We are so happy with our new beautiful fence! Thankfully they got a cancelation and showed up 3 weeks early. Great workers, very professional, friendly, worked quickly, and cleaned up nicely.
