Was recommended this spot by a helpful front desk agent at rhe Hilton nearby. He was not wrong about rhis being amazing pizza. Crispy, and perfect crust.. dont know what else, but they are definitely throwing love into these pies. 10/10 will for sure come again and again.
The pizza here is overpriced and mediocre. It is $3 a slice and on one slice the cheese was falling off and it had a hole in it. The pizza isnt terrible, but I would expect to pay $1.50 at most for a slice of this quality. I can give you a list of better pizzerias that also charge $3 a slice. At least the staff was friendly, they are open late, and it is a nice place.
Perfect for a quick snack!I had the classic, veggie with broccoli and a penne slice. All of them were really good, especially the penne one. The slices were warmed up pretty quick as you would expect and I am definitely going to go back.It is a bit pricey though If you are really hungry.
We just ordered a regular 12 pizza and 4 slices of different ones . It was ordered through uber eats and made extra payment for a priority delivery , even though pizza came cold , wet and not looking great . We couldnt even finish it as we are staying in a hotel and we dont have a microwave .I dont understand how in a 10 min ride from the pizza place to the hotel , pizza can get that cold and completely wasted. I spent 51$ for nothing .
Excellent Pizza, one of the best in the city, the only problem i found is that the meat lovers is a little salty, other than that, the crust is perfect, tastes great and the service is excellent. My wife also liked hers, she usually doesnt finish her pizza but this time she got a slice and the salad was also super good.
Hot, crispy, cheesy, flavourful pizza. I tried a bunch of different pizzerias in the City and this was the only one I made a point of visiting twice. Not to mention, where else can your kids take pics with Famous Amadeus himself!! Dont waste your time. This is the one pizza place in NYC.
The size, the amount of cheese, the flavor was all worth it. It was so good I didnt get to take a picture. The food service areas were very clean and fits my Virgo standard of approval in cleanliness.Definitely a pizza shop to stop in and grab a slice on the go. Typing this experience reminds my taste buds of the flavorful slices they provided
Great place, friendly staff. The size of the slice makes up for the price. My slice was great and Im heading back again soon. If youre in the area, I highly recommend stopping in for a slice. The only reason for 4/5 is the price can get a little steep for certain items.
Came here a bit tipsy from the bar and stumbled upon this pizza spot. I’ve tried a lot of pizza in my day from all over the world and believe me this takes the cook. Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had along with there beef patties 😋. What put the cherry on top was there spicy honey I call it “ Gods gift to man”. Whenever you come here it’s a must you baptize your pizza with there spicy honey sauce. Thank me later 🙏🏾🙏🏾
No pics but DAYUM this place goes HAM! Pizza was amazing! And the prices were surprising! I know folks say that all the time but Im a single mom (hey whats up hint hint wink wink😉) but for me, my son and one homeless person to eat and each of us had a drink, it was under $20! Lemme know when youre going and Ill request some PTO and we can fly together and be BESTIES! Pweez I need frands
It was really good. Good price for a large slice of pizza that can easily fill a whole meal. The staff are nice and the seats are clean. Restroom is also available. They have a wide selection of pizzas and Ill definitely come back to try the pasta, entree, wraps, and even burgers they have as well!
We ordered to have pizza delivered after long day in the city. First pizza had a long black string or hair in it. They came to pick up and sent another. The pizza has a very thick layer of cheese to the point the cheese is hard to swallow. Did not like it, will not buy again
I have eaten here several times. They make several varieties of pizzas that are beautifully displayed. As a matter of fact, there are so many to choose from one can spend a couple of minutes trying to decide. Their pizzas are mouthwatering and all of the slices are l-a-r-g-e, with lots of cheese (for plain) and toppings. The restaurant conveniently located and is large enough to accommodate several people. Its clean, decent seating and the staff are very helpful. One comment, the pizzas are not very cheap (no $2.00 prices here!) but given the slices and variety, its well worth it.
Very expensive and terrible pizza. Looked terrible. We were in a hurry to the show that’s why we walked in.I took a slice of chicken pizza ($5.17) and absolutely no taste. I do understand that the rent is killing but so many other places around with a great, quality pizza.Try E52nd between Lexington and 3rd ave.
Had to change my review, and i’m really sorry to do it. but when i’m ordering food, i expect the person behind the desk to be able to speak english to understand my questions. i’m sometimes in a hurry, and i need to know how long ago a pizza was made to decide if i went to spend my money on it. getting charged $10 for two old slices and a flat drink is wrong, and i won’t be coming back. if you’re crazing a cheese slice, hit up the 99 cent stores and wait for a fresh pie to come out of the oven. much better flavor and price!
Pretty good place, but I dont go there so much anymore. Theres a new guy who doesnt heat up my food enough. The other day, he handed me a luke warm beef patty. Its annoying. So, I just eat elsewhere. But I have to say Amadeus has good pizza. The annoying little guy notwithstanding.
Came here after a late night walking around NYC and in need for some famous NYC pizza. Came upon this place and was happy to see the extensive options in Pizzas and sanwiches. The Pizza slices are big and heavy with toppings so you get your moneys worth. The staff were friendly and happy to talk. If I had one suggestion, it would be for the different slices to be a little further away from each other. My buffalo chicken ended up with pieces of broccoli on it. Besides that, I enjoyed my pizza and left a tip as well.
Its the best pizza Ive had in Manhattan and really cant beat the location beside Penn Station. The restaurant is fairly small with two TVs up and about 10 tables in total. It looks like most pizza joints in the city, but the pizza cant be beat. My favourite is the pepperoni and bacon, although they dont always have slices of it out.
Great veggie pizza. I added salt and shouldnt have. I m not big in salt and dont know why i did that lol. The foof outside is usually so much saltier than the fokd i ve been making lately to lower my salt level. So eat it without adding salt. It was nutritious otherwise. I live it
Visited NYC from Hong Kong. Stopped a cop on the street and asked him which pizza to eat near Times Square and he pointed us to Amadeus. Was great. Super cheap, but also incredibly good (my first time with NY style pizza). Guys were really friendly too.Would 100% go back.
Cashier tried to overcharge me for a plain slice and and tell me that the additional amount was for ‘tax’.Mind you, there was already a tax section towards the bottom of the screen that is pre-calculated. The menu explicitly states that a plain slice is $3.00.When I brought it to his attention, he acted dumbfounded and pretended as if he didn’t notice (after telling me I was wrong), then corrected it. Definitely won’t be going back.
Avoid these Degenerates.Phoned in an order and checked on the price before hanging up, mentioning the price I saw on their menu the day earlier.Guy on the phone says, no wait, I think the price increased!Pauses and says a price $2 higher.Scum of the earthTold him to keep his pizza.Yelp has a review that describes this as discriminatory.
They had very good service; for instance, the man who yelled in Spanish to the other employees would explain kono inarizushi wa, oishi desune!.The pizza was delectable and moist. They also had lots of sausage, all of it steaming and filled with juices. No, I didnt mean it like that. If youre on Eighth Avenue and hungry, go there.
Reasonable prices (for NY, $18/pie). Comfortable to sit down. Only pizza, but the best NY pizza weve found yet. Very thin and tasty crust, minimal sauce (as you would expect) and plenty of cheese (but not too much). Two older kids downed an entire pie, thats how thin the crust is.
Bad food with the worst customer service I’ve experienced. Wish I could give zero stars. Try calling to talk to a manager multiple times but they appearently are never there. Employees are rude and when I tried to call they made it seem like I was an incovience to them.

2022-01-25Everyone in NYC has their own pizza *spot* the place they know will deliver that flavor that makes pizza from NYC the envy of the world. In my humble opinion a New York pie is best eaten straight out of the oven if you can stop in and grab a table Amadeus serves it to you steaming hot because if youre not burning the roof of your mouth with impatience at a bubbling pie, do you even love pizza? It should also be generous with its toppings and soupy - yes this is a greasy delicious full of flavor drips on your plate style place so if youre watching calories or the type to pat your pizza with a napkin (shudder) look elsewhere. If youre looking for a pizza that you will miss after you finish eating come here.

2022-02-21Nice place quiet. Not busy. Some of the peporoni pizza was...spicy? But overall they have an A from the government. Place is clean. They wipe after custermers.

2022-01-11For your safety don’t go to this place. I bought 2 slices and and a dessert. One of the fruit in that dessert had a mold. As you can see on the raspberry. That’s disgusting.

2022-03-16Just finished eating this delicious pizza, two slices to be exact. My family of four really enjoyed eating here. Ive being telling my family about some New York pizza slices and this didnt disappoint. Wish we could bring this pizza joint back to the Midwest. Friendly staff and a clean area to enjoy your slice.

2021-10-30We ordered a pizza and wings for delivery via the Slice app. Upon delivery we began eating and realized there was a wing tucked at the side of the container with an entire bite out of it…when we called to ask the restaurant about it they asked if we ate it and mistakes it??? What reason would we have to lie, we only asked for them to send new wings and they continued to blame us and told us to “ask for a refund on the slice app” ABSOLUTELY REPULSIVE DURING A PANDEMIC

2022-05-21Classic new york slice with a whole bunch of tasty specialty pizzas that dont disappoint. Only reason it isnt 5 stars is the service could have been better. Loud restaurants and quiet cashiers dont exactly get tip marks for efficient communication.

2021-07-07NY crust with Chicago size toppings makes for a drippy pizza. Taste was good enough, nothing overly polite or enthusiastic from the service to set them apart from other pizza joints.

2022-06-15Great slices!! Enjoyed fresh mozzarella. Friends had the chicken salad that was great with lots of chicken. Clean inside with modest seating. Really enjoyed our lunch.
