The only reason I give it a 4 star and not 5 is mostly because although they always have a nice selection of men shoes, I seem to never ever find my size. However, with that being said, with todays options for shopping, Famous Footwear Salesperson was able to order what I needed online for me at the checkout counter in store for delivery at home within the week. Now mind you, its not just this shoe store but all shoe stores of any brand should put more emphasis on mens shoes, as is done broadly with women shoes universally everywhere one goes.Nevertheless, I will say, as a whole the store in Westbury, NY is very nicely maintained and orderly and never seems picked over. Staff is friendly and helpful as I said in that they were able to order what was not in store for me online. Having said that, I do recommend Famous Footwear for their up-to-date selection, and again, their store at the Westbury Gallery Mall is certainly a 5 star location.
Ladies there are the best. Help my son and I find what we needed and also you can order in the store and have it shipped. Great options, Great deals. Check them out.
Employees are always helpful. Never an issue. Always have great sales. Love the BOGO +15%. usually in stock and if not they will get it for you and send. Usually no shipping fee. Only thing I feel bad for them slobs shop there making it a mess to shop in then they have to clean it up. Its not difficult to try on and if it doesnt fit put it back in the box and put it where it came from. And the paper put it in the garage can.
The place doesnt have a variety of sneakers that I might want. It has a great value for people looking for sneakers foe every day use.
The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. As soon as you walk in, theyre ready to help you find exactly what you need. Very clean and organized store with affordable shoes!
Horrible customer service. Went today to find some sneakers for my nephew. Couldnt ask for help because everyone was to busy on phones. I had to wait to pay for at least 6 minutes with no one in front of me. I havent shopped in famous for years now and left this place really disappointed.
Its a nice place, workers are available to help, and if they dont have what youre looking for they , call other stores to see if they have it and hold it for you or give you the option to ship it to your home.
Do not go here if you are looking for something stylish, slick, modern and most importantly high quality.

2022-06-21Needed sneakers, womens size 8. I only wear Nike because of the comfort. I had a hard time finding Nike sneakers in my size. I felt like there were sneakers in every size, but mine (8). I ended up purchasing a pair, but they were not my 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice.

2020-08-16This is one of the only places I purchase all of my footwear for my entire household. At the moment I am a Superstar Member due to my time as a member and my spending. The more you purchase the more perks you build. Theres always Bogo and sometimes ill grab 2 pairs of $99.99 sneakers for my 2 boys and pay anywhere from $150 or less or ill grab myself a pair of $80 sneakers and my wife some$80 heels and only pay $100 l. If they dont have your size you get free home delivery your order arrives in 2-5 days most times its 2-3. Online they have a huge selection of footwear you can ONLY get online. They DO NOT sell Jordans or Air Force Ones but they have exclusive footwear only sold at this store and some great basketball sneakers and high end designer womens shoes up to $200 im cost. One of the best stores for footwear with the widest variety of all styles. Picked these 2 Adidas for myself and my son and the dressy Sperrys for my son as well total $120 keep in mind I am a Superstar Memeber so I do get perks a 1st time customer wont have but youll thank me later.
