This place had ok pizza. Its not the style Im used to. I just dont understand the cheese only slice pies. I guess so you can add a topping while heating it up but thats not the same. However the Buffalo chicken, sausage , and the steak rolls or whatever they were called are amazing. Highly recommend grabbing one of these.
Ventured here after a local suggested Carlo’s and I could not find it so I went here.Easy to get to, good parking lot.There were three big tv screens inside and the tables were relatively clean.They had marinara slices and the garlic knots were good.I entered at a time when the pizza behind the counter had been out for a while so if fresh slices taste better I will change my rating.My family member approved of the cheese slice.It is flat and accessible to everyone.There is no bathroom.I would not recommend this place as the best pizza place in the area, just based on my experience.However I would give it another shot because I live nearby.
Wonderful, tasty, delicious food, not only pizza but burgers, wings, hot dogs & garlic knots. I will usually pass by a pizza place that sells 4-5 different types of food but these 2 gentlemen always work hard are polite & professional to their customers. And their prices are very fair !
I finally found my original Peppinos Pizza fam after 8 years. When they were in the Bronx at 241st and White Plains Rd, they were the best. Ive been there twice and their food and customer service is still incredible. Keep up the good work, guys.
The ppl who work here is very Rude, and disrespectful. I called to place an order for delivery. The guy on the phone said my address was to far. So I googled the address and it’s only a 10min drive. So I called back to ask can they deliver being that my address isn’t out the way. The guy I was speaking to on the phone said didn’t you just call? I said yes, he began speaking to me very nasty and hung up the phone one. I will never order from this place.
I work at a university and we have had to make a couple of large orders this summer. The staff is incredibly helpful and have even provided plates, napkins, and plastic ware upon request. The pizza is delicious and they offer gluten free options and are accommodating toward other dietary restrictions, i.e., vegan. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you are looking to cater large (or small) events or just want to order in one night.
Visited for the first time last week. Loved the pizza.Reminded me of when I was growing up.Really friendly guy took my order with a nice sense of humor and a smile on his face.Thats how he treated all his customers.When I was done I asked for some zeppolies to go. Loved them.I found me a new pizza place for sure!
Ordered from here for the first time after a friend highly recommended this place. Ordered a large pizza and boneless chicken wings. Well the pizza was cut up with all different sizes and wasnt that great. What got to me was the chicken wings, OMG they were horrible. Looked like chicken nuggets. They were small, burnt and hard as a rock. Had ordered chicken wings from La Bella a week ago which were huge and delicious and not burnt at all. I figured Id try this place since it was highly recommended. Never again. Maybe I was just unlucky and ended up with a bad batch. Who knows.
This is a good place to get good pizza 🍕and other great choices. I’ve know them 36 years I use to work and live near them they was a staple in the Bronx Tey it you won’t be disappointed
Peppinos is great. I love the food and especially the pizza. Gio the pizza man is so nice and funny. He always makes me laugh and feel comfortable. The place is big enough to sit and have a slice or sandwich and not be on top of other people. Love it.
Theyve done it again: mac and cheese pizza. Conchiglie pasta, mozzarella and American cheeses - the perfect meal for any kid at heart. (Their gyros, scratch-made soups and even salads are top-notch, too.) For a gastronome and home cook with a strong affinity for local restaurants, this experienced team consistently delivers incredible food at very fair prices. I honestly cannot recommend them enough.
The two owners are incredibly hard workers and produce a great slice or pie. The most surprising aspect of Peppinos is they have great hot dogs, hamburgers and buffalo chicken!
I order Peppinos all the time they are my go to for big events and family occasions but recently on my bday i ordered a few pies and went there to pick up and as i was leaving i stumbled outside right infront of the pizzeria and dropped them as i went in to explain to them to clean the front of their store this rude man screamed WE AINT DOMINOS WE DONT HAVE PIZZA INSURANCE and i just found that extremely rude. Its a shame because they are my favorite pizza in Yonkers but i will not come back not only because of this incident but also because they arent the politest people either but the pizza made me always come back. Not no more

One of the best places to dine in DSM. Service is great, lengthy wine menu, proper seasonals, and good flavor all around. I love coming here when mozy-ing through Des Moines. The patio is pretty sweet, too. Id encourage a reservation if youre going on a busy night.I also had an overly rich carrot curry soup, which seemed like a good idea at the time, but seemed to affect my stomach.

Food is priced lower than the competition but that comes at a price. Their salads are made with iceberg lettuce and the customer service is horrendous. After an hour and a half waiting for a small order, they get annoyed at you calling to check up and say they arent coming back again. LOL yet you are constantly leaving your menus everywhere in a desperate attempt to get customers. I would rather pay a couple of dollars extra and not deal with nasty employees with a sense of entitlement and poor skills. You sure AINT coming back, because we aint calling.
The pizza is alright but I saw Carmine (the owner of the shop) scream at a women about him not helping his own children. He had continued to curse her out in front of the store, I was quite shocked in how rude and insensitive someone who seemed fairly kind in the shop could be in front of the store of all places. Dont think ill be going there or buying from them again.
Just moved in around the area and came there for a slice for my kids. Now we are hooked....delicious pizza. Clean place and friendly staff.
The guys behind the counter have no idea what they are doing. I ordered 3 pies and they got one of them wrong. Every time I go in they never have chicken rolls. A friend ordered cheese ravioli they made him ravioli parm. They are not going to last if they keep doing business like that in an over saturated market. Either way they lost my business.
What should be the average pizza place. Staff is great, pizza is classic. What more could you ask for? They have a great take-out deal too, for large pizzas.

Had delivery twice both times sent the driver to Yonkers and not Tuckahoe. Both times food came cold. Called the place old man basically said to bad and hung up. Called back the other arrogant man for on the phone and said nothing he could do about it now. Said next time he would take care by giving me something off. He said not his fault driver put it in the GPS and picked the closest. News flash - you make sure they know the correct town since it happened before. I said my food was cold he said he was to busy to help me and it was in a hot bag. Driver called me at 5:49 didn’t get to my house till 6:10. Was already in the bag at least 10-15 min going to the wrong address. I said this is the second time this has happened he said yeah well not my fault I said you should take care of us this time. He said yeah no I’m busy next time. I don’t know who is running this one in Yonkers but it is not the same as in Somers. Hope they are embarrassed and make changes.
Complete Opposite of Best Buy: Friendly Customer Service, Neatly Presentable, Good Pizza! The Only Problem is that the sodas are double priced in comparison to a super market who sells them for half the amount.
Ordered the chicken marsala, picked it up because first time we ordered it was delivered, but ice cold. Chicken marsala tasted like I was eating chunks of salt. Mushrooms were rubbery, had to throw whole dish in garbage. Wont order again!!!
Im giving a two star review because i ordered a specific item and was delivered the wrong thing and when i called and asked about it they immediately told me i was in the wrong and didnt read the full description of what i was ordering. Which after explaining myself three times i was not in the wrong they in fact delivered the wrong thing. And i think the grubhub reviews are fake. The reviews on grub hub are all from the same 3 people and when i went to rate a review my order through grubhub i was not given the option.

Decent atmosphere, including customer service. Food quality is good and tasty. A burger with fries, lamb gyro, garlic knots and a soda for $20 is reasonable.
After sending the wrong sandwich . they got upset at me for correcting them and banned our whole store from ordering. horrible customer service. reporting to better buisness bureau. people are rude and the food takes forever to come.

I order a sandwich and they sent me the wrong sandwich. When I called back to correct them, they told me I was wrong and I did not read the menu correctly. I read it perfectly fine and I reread my order to Carmine, he said “oh well too bad is there anything else I can help you with?” Worst customer service ever. I’ll never be ordering from here again.

The Grandma Pie was excellent. Tasty and filling. They do not skimp on ingredients and the price is great. Definitely give it a try. You will not regret it.
Smell wonderful when you enter but the quality and taste of the sauce is not up to standard if you are a true pizza connoisseur.

2019-04-23CORRECTION MADEI read other reviews the negative ones are bolonny...Food is good and service is quickFor myself i ordered lasagnaIt comes with a salad tooits not a cheap portion neither.For the price considering other places around the area its a reasonable price.Always take advice from someone that rates places more than once.Correction *********Lasagna portion has become skimpy.now its just bottom layer and top layer covered with sauce and cheese and in my case it was burned.Time to look for a new place to get my lasagna from.

2022-03-06Ordered the ‘grandma’s’ pizza, and it was awful- super doughy, tasteless, and undercooked! We also ordered & paid for two Sicilian slices with pepperoni but only received one slice without pepperoni. Will never order from here again!

2020-11-25My boyfriend ordered a plain pie and garlic bread, which were fine, average. He ordered a chicken francese hero which was pretty good, but it came with lettuce and tomato on it (which we found to be very weird because they were soggy from the sauce; he picked them off because he’s allergic to raw vegetables - we didn’t think we’d need to mention that because who puts lettuce and tomato on chicken francese??)I ordered fettuccini Alfredo, which was beyond bland. The sauce literally tasted like milk, absolutely no flavor. I tried to doctor it up, but it just wasn’t good. I also ordered bruschetta, which was 85% onions and vinegar dumped on top of hero bread. It was fine, but so vinegary I couldn’t finish more than one piece. It came with a lot, which would’ve been great if it tasted better...Overall, the place is okay if you stick to basic pizza and heroes, but beyond that, it’s really not all that good. I had high hopes for it, and we were super let down 🤷🏻♀️

2021-09-26Most important part of getting quality food is getting order right. After spending roughly $20, they gave me a different Stromboli than I ordered and they had very little cheese on our pizza. Not sure what famous is all about, but Definitely got a famous 1 star review from me. My fault though for trusting order was right and not checking so I will take blame as well.

Me and my older sister and my 2 young cousins came to peppions and it was amazing we order spicy mild wing and it was sooo goood we even ordered another tray of wings we also got garlic nots and they were next level. service was good and everything enjoyed and would come more times
