I turned 34 on the 10th and was able to have my birthday party there it has been a tradition for about 3 years now so it was great to come back and be able to share the experience with friends and family and I got a sorbet with a huge beautiful sparkler. And it was just an amazing experience. And the food was amazing as well like always
The banquet space is fantastic. The valet parking is a bonus. I have to go back and try the restaurant to give it a higher rating. Oh, I also loved that they accommodated my dietary needs and made me a gluten-free pasta dish during the banquet dinner. Just a little something extra that made the evening special.
Good place for Italian cuisine. Loved their pizza, pasta and the breads they give. I am a fan for their chicken menu and would recommend anyone visiting this side of New York. There are other much amazing places in NYC Manhattan but this is good too. A little too price for the location but they have good quantity to justify the price.
This pass weekend we celebrated my daughters graduation at the Pine. When I made my reservation, Marco was extremely helpful, he made me feel like this was the best place for our celebration. Fast forward to the celebration day, he assigned Mario, our waiter who was nothing but EXCEPTIONAL! Delicious food and Exceptional service.
Horrible my family and me used to come here all the time but the people in the back are stubborn and very rude my little brother who is keep in mind 2 ran into the back and my mother tries to get him but the workers stop her and tell her a long speech about handling the baby but the baby runs out and we have to run around the restaurant just to get him horribe service 1 star! Please get faster workers as well we been waiting for food for the past 2 hours and we asked them multiple times and still they havent gave us food we only ordered 2 things a well done steak and some fried calamari very unhappy please do something about this service and food issue people who came after us have already left and we are still here. I expect better service next time.
Been coming here since I was a little kid. Quality and service have always been great. I love their chicken Parm with pasta. They have spacious event spaces. Valet parking is also available and about a 10min walk from the trains. One of the best Italian restaurants in the Bronx.
The host that was working on 4/10 at 2pm was very rude to me. I called several hours earlier to verify if I needed to make a reservation for my group, we were told that none was needed. When my group and I arrived at the restaurant, we were told in no uncertain terms that it was impossible for us to be seated, and that we should have called earlier. When I said that I did, I was then made to feel like a liar and as if I don’t have the ability to understand basic concepts. I made it quite clear that if I had been told to make a reservation, that one would have been made.
Ive eaten here several times over the years but did not enjoy the meal I had on 1/27/22. First, we had calamari which was not fresh and no tentacles!!!! I also had baked whole clams which I did enjoy. My dinner was fried seafood which was supposed to be in their special batter but it was tasteless and fell off the scallops because I could even bite them. All in all I would not go back, there are too many better Italian food choices to pick from.
I had to change my review to one star after what happened to me here. It used to be my go to restaurant but apparently they steal from people. Please bear with me. Heres a picture of the NY strip I ordered and broccoli di rapa. The steak was amazing but the broccoli was bitter since it had burnt garlic. I asked the waiter to change it because it was inedible but he said NO because I already ordered it. Not even ihop is this stingy but whatever I left the whole thing on my plate. My biggest problem was when it came to paying. Heres a picture of my receipt which was 127 dollars. I had taken the picture because my friend had an issue with not being able to split the payment, which they dont do at this restaurant, so I ended up paying the full balance with my card and then taking a Pic to later send to my friend so he could send me his part of the bill. THEY CHARGED ME 147 DOLLARS. I believe it was the waiter who did this on purpose because we went ourselves to pay at the register since he would come and go after assisting us for 10 seconds, not paying attention to us. This was a busy Saturday night. On Monday I called the place and the manager said This has been happening to a lot of ppl, if you dont see your money in your card by the next 2 days come back and well return your money. I didnt see my money so I went in on Wednesday and spoke with another manager and showed him the picture of the receipt. He said he would fix it and to give it 24-48 hours. Today is Friday and theres nothing yet on my card. This is outrageous and worst thing is that theyre getting away with it. Who knows to how many people this has happened to. Please BEWARE and pay cash. Oh and dont go when busy or waiters will do this to you and managers will literally do nothing. What a disappointment, Im not coming back.
Please save yourself the time and money and steer clear of this establishment. My family and I have came here for years and we are not going to take our business here anymore. We had a reservation for Mothers Day. We called to confirm our reservation and the manager, Marco, argued with my mom over the phone and told her there wasnt any reservation under our name. Marco continued to tell my mom that she should have made the reservation farther in advance. I cannot believe someone would do such a thing on Mothers Day. Any other establishment would be a better choice than here.
Last night was my first time @Pine. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. There was 7 of us stuffed in a booth. They seated us around 8:15, the waiter “chewie” didn’t take our drink order until 9pm!!!! He didn’t come back to take our Entrees order until 9:30pm..He was the worst waiter ever!! The entrees didn’t come until damn near 10pm! I would never go back to PINE and I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy! One word to describe this place! TRASH!!!!
The 3 stars are for the ambiance of the restaurant and the presentation of the food. The food itself was bland and we werent properly serviced. For starters, we ordered baked clams which ended up being full of breading, mushy and flavorless. When I informed the server, he claims that we didnt read the description properly and we should have specified that we wanted traditional baked clams...As a server you would think that HE would have asked us for clarification but whatever. As we are used to dining out, my child asked where the bread was and the server said that they werent making bread anymore...he then magically appeared a short while later with bread and salad. They didnt clear our table until the food came and even then we had to wait until they realized that our table was full. Overall a beautiful venue, with very mediocre staff and food.
Typically I love this place, but today they messed up big time. I made a reservation for mothers day 3 days ago, the man who answered took my name, number, and party info and gave me the green light that everything was set. We get there today (mothers day) and they tell me they have no reservations under my name and that the person who took my info shouldnt have, because they stopped taking mothers day reservations a week ago. Not to mention I called an hour before my reservation time to change it from 5:00 to 5:30 and the woman who answered said it was no problem. So either the manager checking reservation was not being truthful or the employees there are uninformed either way they have put a bad taste in my mouth about coming here to celebrate any kind of occasion.
The food is Italian and delicious, albeit a little pricy. It’s a fancy place. They have valet parking. Also they moved and are now located on Bronxdale Av and NOT Eastchester Rd. On the night we went, there were a lot of people at other tables celebrating birthdays for some reason. It felt like a Chuck E. Cheese. But I still recommend it.
I came here for a Birthday celebration. The staff was helpful and quick whenever something was asked of them. Food was very good in flavors. The portions are just as good also. They offer a nice size bar area for those who are waiting for their table or just for those who just want sit at the bar and order quick appetizers and drinks. They also have valet parking available and thats a bonus for their customers. I recommend this restaurant for a good time and a good meal.
The Italian food was good and they give healthy portions. The Spicy Scarpariello Wings Appetizer were delicious. However, it is not a steakhouse and the porterhouse I ordered reflected this which was a big disappointment. It was overcooked and tough. Overall atmosphere was pleasant.
The first time I ate from the Pine, a friend of mine got some food for me and wife. I dont remember what she had bit Im remember that skirt steak salad. I believe Ive had anything like that previously. The steak was perfect, greens fresh and delicious but that gorgonzola cheese and balsamic vinegarette bring all home for me. When I went yesterday I only had the calamari calabresea twist on their traditional favorite; calamari battered in secret seasoning topped by a spicy marinara sauce with diced hot & sweet vinegar peppers when I say AMAZING calamari had the right crisp on them, then you get hit with the sweet heat a little tang. Its comes on a beautiful serving dish with tongs and I devoured the whole thing by myself. The server we had Ceasar was very on point, his customer service was impeccable. I had a lady server help us as well, I didnt get her name. The ambience was cool I will definitely be returning there for date night.
The pine is awesome especially during this pandemic. They are taking care of hospital workers (like muself) during these trying times. The food tastes great and they are super safe and the wait doesnt take more than 5 minutes before they bring your food outside to you. I offered a tip and it was refused. I cant rave enough about this place. Try it, you will like it!!
They do not give you salad before dinner if you get there before 4pm, but they charge you the same price before 4pm. We also waited 15 minutes just to get bread and 10 minutes to get water. They also will not change our seats of 6 people when the place was half empty.

F&J Pine is one of the restaurant gems in the Bronx. It has a unique interior design. It has a mix of brick, wood and Bronx memorabilia on the walls. There is a large dinning area and additional rooms for parties. The menu is expansive, for both beverages and food. I have always enjoyed the food and the service. They have a nice bar area.
Family style dining at its best. I came here for a team meeting and it the atmosphere is very warm the scaled seating in the center of the restaurant gives the illusion of being large but make no mistake, this place is always packed. The appetizers were so flavourful. Calamari was crispy but not rubbery. If youre expecting small portions, youre in for a pleasing disappointment because they are very VERY generous! Highly recommend the chicken francese: what a great balance of flavors!
Oh my goodness who doesnt love f&j pine restaurant.... Everyone in the Bronx knows about this place.... The New York Yankees even hang around here thats how good the food is and I must say the service is pretty excellent too! My family and I and many of our friends and family enjoy going to this restaurant and we use it for many occasions we have never been disappointed! So make your reservations as soon as you can and enjoy the food and the good service.
Whoa this place is worth a trip from the North Pole on foot with no shoes on !!! From the minute you walk through the door its floor to ceiling & wall to wall eye candy everything from pictures to jerseys over all decor is amazing . Now here comes the hard part once you are handed a menu its almost impossible to pick a meal so many different choices from pasta, seafood, steaks, to a ton of fried goodies the food was incredible !!! If you by chance happen to be on a diet this is not the place for you , the portions are enormous . The staff was both courteous and attentive excellent overall experience . A+
I had a ton of fun in this place. The people were great, the service was fantastic and the dj was awesome. They didnt skimp out on the liquor too so I really appreciated it. I would definitely do busie as with you guys again. I went for a baby shower and a I had a great time. I would definitely recommend this place. Thx.
Ordered Christmas dinner since we werent travelling. Pros: faster than expected delivery & chicken parm & shrimp parm tasted good.Cons: $50 (2 dishes), rolls were thrown in the bag loose without proper packaging (not very reassuring to receive especially in the age of COVID) and 1 dish came with pasta & that container was practically empty! For $50, I was certainly hoping to split the pasta with just 1 other person. I could easily see the bottom of the container & the sauce was a scant blob.I wont be relying on Pines for my upcoming quarantined holiday meals!
As a nurse that is fighting in front line due to COVID, best way to get appreciated is by good food! Thank you F&J Pine for the free food you gave me.Location: It is located in Bronxdale Ave. Few blocks from my house. I have been here twice and it is good for family gatherings. The interior is nice, there is a huge brick oven where they baked their pizza. A cozy place to eat!Service: The guys were fantastic! Af course they have to be away from us too. I ordered and they told me to wait outside. I completely understand it, it is for our safety.Food: I ordered the BAKED ZITI with MEATBALLS: the pasta is cooked al dente! The sauce and meatballs taste good! This is the pasta dish that you can eat everyday! Including are sides of POTATO CROQUETTES which I love, bread and house salad.Thank you so much for giving me free food! I do appreciate it. I am definitely going here when this pandemic is gone.
Totally went downhill! Used to be a nice Italian environment with great food, but not anymore. Was so upset by how much Frankie & Johnnys changed for the worse! I ordered seafood risotto, which I was craving. First of all, I couldnt even see the risotto because it seemed like they just took a bunch of seafood with tons of red sauce & dumped it on top! Plus, it was terribly greasy! My piece of cheesecake was dry & literally crumbling when I put my fork into it. Sadly, I would have to say that the salad was the best part of my meal. Obviously, this is my opinion, although Ive been there a bunch of times, it was great, but comparing it to last night, it was horrible to me. The pictures of the take out leftovers in the bag was disgustingly greasy. You can also see the grease in my plate & how you cant see the risotto unless you dig underneath. If Chef Gordon Ramsey ate at the food, hed gag & spit it out of his mouth! Hed redo the whole restaurant from top to bottom!
So after hearing great things about F&J Pine from other and deciding to go on a early dinner.....I will say I wasnt disappointed. F&J Pine has a very extensive authentic Italian menu choices with their very own classics and some not-very-common dishes as well. Service was prompt and courteous, great eatery space and food was prompt especially on the dishes we ordered. Very satisfied with it and will definitely go again!
Outback @ Palisade MallThe food is rich in quantity and flavor!Excellent prices for local and tourist!Servers were quick and attentive!Ambience is great with background music that allows conversations .Great for Groups or friends meet upsGreat for family reunionsWheelchair accessible,Food Presentation has an A+Just don’t forget to grab your dessert 🍮! It’s a must do!
Had the stuffed chicken parm with pene pasta and marinara sauce delicious I would give 5 stars. My partner had the ravioli but sadly they over did it with the garlic and it ruined the delicious sauce they have. Ravioli was cooked to perfection if I could give a 4.5 I would. Also it has been many years since I last visited would love to know what happened to the olive oil seems it has changed. Used to be my favorite part. Will visit again and see what else is great my meal is definitely a go to steer clear of ravioli. Also please note the customer care of this restaurant is amazing and well worth the money.
Been dining at this establishment for some years now. Glad to see that they have maintained the quality of food that made me come back after so many years. The reputation is better then before so the wait is longer but the food is still worth it. A bit more staff might make the operation run better.
I had my wedding dinner here at F&J Pine a year ago, and it was an amazing experience. My first time at the restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing and I didnt expect the generous portion, which was wonderful, because I could fill myself up and still have some leftovers for later.I recently ordered for takeout due to COVID and the quality of the food is just as good!Definitely recommend the steak, and the linguini pescatora!
I attended a beautiful wedding party 10/17/21, at this location the staff was very professional. As you know they had a set menu for dinner. A vegetarian nightmare. The waitress started asking me questions. Then said ok give me a minute. She brought out this grilled Portobello Mushroom, Zucchini, garlic, Peppers, and sweet potatoes!!! It was delicious!!! I know this wasnt on the menu. But we your restaurant has World class Chefs everythings delicious!!!
The staff is the best I have seen! Marcos the manger and Danny the server took care of us as if we were royalty, I am a plant based person and on Thanksgiving day Alexa(SP) the owner of this amazing place made a menu just for me!!! I was so blown away... Please go and have a bottle of wine and have the best meal in town/. Thank you for such a great night! I will be telling a lot of people about you
I never ever post reviews but this is definitely a unique situation. we called on Saturday for same day catering, I never thought in a million years that they would actually agree. Not only did they fill the large order within hours but they completely out did themselves!! I appreciated all the details in the way they present their food. It was on time, warm and absolutely delicious. I am so grateful to the entire staff at The Pine and The Bastones for their amazing service. Thank you once again, signed by your customers for life!!
The service was fair, food portion is fair. Not much taste in what I ordered. I didnt like the idea of them deciding and adding the tip % to the bill without my consent. To top it off, they added the highest tip % to the bill. A little to pricey. Would I return or recommend it, NO.
First time here this weekend and had an awesome experience! They had a valet which is huge, the food was awesome and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent, everyone seemed happy to be there. And on top of all of that, this is a family owned and operated restaurant which makes it all that much cooler. The daughter came over to our table to check on us and even though it was super busy, made us feel personally welcomed. It was my first time here but most definitely not my last
The wait staff was fantastic, especially Alec. The food was decent for the price. I was there for a small event with about 18 people and the food was served family style so I suspect it it be a bit different going there with less people and ordering individually from the menu (probably better). The location was clean and inviting.
Mother’s Day 2022We made a reservation of 4 for 5:30. We were seated at 5:45. We ordered or meal right away. And waited . And waited. And waited. At 7:30 we asked what was wrong and was told that there were many orders to be filled. We had to wait. No time limit to our waiting time. The table to my left was seated and served within 20 minutes. I asked for the person in charge. That’s when smiling and laughing Marcos came into the picture. I tried to telling him that we had been waiting and that the table on my left had only been seated and served within 20 minutes but it was of no use as this Marcos just laughed at me. I was with my sons who wanted to just leave but it was my Mother’s Day dinner and I wanted it to be ok. It wasn’t ok. It was horrible. It was terrible. It was disgraceful due to the ever laughing manager named Marcos. I’ll never ever consider this place a go to for any event. And if you value your event, you wouldn’t either.PS: they had packed our orders and wanted us to take them home. As if sitting there for all that time was our choice, a ridiculous choice. Thank you to the people at Pines for ruining my 2022 Mothers Day dinner with the shabby and inappropriate service. A simple apology and speedy service would have been the normal course of action.
Great place to go with family friends and a date ! Excellent food and the service is fantastic! Coming here for couples years now. Love the decor! They have private dining rooms if you dining party is more than 12 plus, outdoor dining and you always can seat at the bar and have a nice cocktail and food. I had done all the above.
Massive plates of flavorless food. Baked clams full of breading. I ate here 6 years ago and don’t remember it being like that. 2-stars for nice hosts and bartender. Waiter forgot about us and we waited Iike 30min before we found him for the check. Ambiance was too bright, open, and commercial for what I remembered as once a warm and familial restaurant. I was sorry to have bragged about it for years, invite family and friends, only to return to disappointment. I feel bad that I even had to give this rating but it is what it is.
My first time ordering food from here.I asked for 2 orders of the anti pasta which the menu said $12.50 and when I went to pick up they said $16:50, not to mention they put both my orders in the same plate instead of separate orders. Obviously I asked for 2 not 1!I give 3 stars because Marco was very nice and professional and made sure I was taken care of by giving me a small brick oven pizza pie which was delicious!I would eat here again, but definitely inside!
Sheeeesh 🤤🤤I drive all the way from Brooklyn to eat here and let me tell you.. IYKYKIt’s worth the drive every time. The food!!! It’s like some ones Italian grandma is in the kitchen. The portions are family style and there’s always left overs to take home. This place is the best in the Bronx.
DELICIOUS FOOD. A FRIEND WHO LIVES IN THE BRONX TOOK ME HERE FOR AN EARLY LUNCH & I WAS PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING I TASTED. THE SEAFOOD BISQUE IS DELICIOUS. I HAD THE FRIED MOZZARELLA & RAVIOLI COMBO & IT WAS EXQUISITE! THE MARINARA & THE VODKA SAUCES WERE REALLY YUMMY ALSO. THE MARGHERITA PIZZETTA WAS DELICIOUS BUT I HAD TO ADD GARLIC. I TASTED MY FRIENDS FETTUCCINE ALFREDO W/SHRIMP, CRAB & SCALLOPS & IT WAS DELICIOUS BUT I HAD TO ADD GARLIC. EVEN THE WHITE SANGRIA WAS DELICIOUS! THE DECOR IS BEAUTIFUL, VERY FANCY. THE SEAFOOD TOWER (SEE PIC BELOW) COSTS ONLY ABOUT $35, ITS ENOUGH FOR TWO PEOPLE & ITS DELIGHTFUL! A COMPARABLE PLATTER IN MANHATTAN WOULD COST ABOUT $98!
I really want to give this establishment the 5 stars it originally deserves. But in all honesty its truly not the same. Maybe Covid really did ruin everything. We have been coming here for probably the last 7 or 8 years, but the food and service has has never failed. And this time the food failed us. The quality just wasnt there. I love this place, but not if Im spend good money on tiny frozen baby shrimps.
Its gone downhill. Food is atrocious.Nothing is seasoned properly or at all.No effort put into any of the dishes.Bland trash, not even proper presentation or garnishing.Your local pizza shop will seem like a 5 star restaurant compared to this prison food.Only consolation is the bartenders are on point. Youre going to need a few drinks to forget this meal.
Ordered fried Calamari and it was horrible gummy and small rings, definitely frozen and not freshly made, then never received our salad when I saw two other tables get their salad and when I asked, I was told they came in after 4 and they arrived just ten minutes after us. They new we did not eat the Calamari and I stated it was terrible. You think they would try to satisfy us with giving us salad but no… Then the main course I ordered veal piccata and it came with red sweet peppers who puts red sweet peppers with a lemon garlic sauce? I would never go back there or recommend this place to anyone.
The Tortellini Marc Antonio I had for lunch were the ultimate delight. The dish was served piping hot, tortellini filled with cheese, vodka sauce, mushroom and prosciutto were the bomb for my taste buds. This is one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. Staff is attentive, great. extra tasty hot bread is only a question away. This restaurant is simply professional.Update: The service was quite slow, the croquettes were not hot. The bread quality and selection degraded.
If youre reading this to see if you should go the answer is heck yes!!!! Youll be glad you went. Im not from around here, So we ended up asking google for restaurants near us and this one caught me eye, they had the most reviews and thank goodness we came. Best experience Ive had a really long time, Im actually sad we dont live close by to come more often but whenever Im in the bronx or anyone asks for suggestions this place is a must!!!! From the valet at the beginning to the dessert at the end everything was spectacular. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I adore this place! They serve decent food, they have a rich menu, The cook in that spot is very trained, I love a lot trying all their dishes. The dishes are always fresh and tasty, the service towards the visitors is very good too. I visit often this place and I was never disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.
The place was a nice place and the people was nice however the wait was extremely long and after that long wait my fettuccine with the crab and scallops was blan and needed seasoning really bad. Our server was kind enough to give me some garlic powder to help elevate the taste along with the salt and pepper. For the amount of time we waited along with the cost that food should have been on point. For my first time eating there I am sad because I really expected more. I would suggest anyone that goes to get the red sauce dishes as the ones I tasted was good. Other then that it wasnt completely a bad experience. The server really mad the experience worth staying.
The food here is great...fresh and well cooked. The biggest flaw here is the service. We dined here in the early afternoon. The dining room was not packed. Beside from our party there were only four other tables occupied. Our waiter was not very friendly. We had to wait for about 30 minutes for our meals to come out. During that time, no one ( checked into see if we were okay, if we wanted to add other items to our order or to update us on whats causing the delay in our meal). Salad was not complimentary, only one slab of hard bread. I was super disappointed with the service. This restaurant has a great reputation for good food as I have had take out from this location on multiple occasions. This was my first time dining in and it will be my last. Service is an integral part of customer satisfaction. An establishment that is not meticulous about its service does not need my hard earned money.
I’ve been to this place two times recently and then today to celebrate two graduations. we had a private room 30 peopleI have to tell you it was amazing even the previous two times the service the food has always been delicious and impeccableThe manager, Marcos, does a fantastic job And it shows in the way the employees handle their customers. I have to rave about it. completely amazing delicious and stupendous!!!!
I love, love, LOVE this restaurant. Amazing food, very friendly and accommodating staff, must make a reservation ahead of time if youre dining with a party greater than 6 I believe, but the wait is worth it. Favorite appetizer: Mussels in Brodo (white), favorite dish: Wild Mushroom Risotto, favorite desert: Creme Brûlée, (I was heart broken when they took off the fried cheesecake) favorite drink: Bronx Bomber. Off the take out menu the Bronx Cheese Steak is a MUST!
Went for dinner and had the best experience! We were seated right away, our servers were wonderful and gave great recommendations. The Frankies famous Ragu and Chicken Scarpariello was delicious, and the restaurant does a great job maintaining social distance and disinfecting after diners leave. Highly recommend.
Came here after a funeral after a family member of my husbands passed away. We had an immense group of people show up last minute and the hostess was gracious enough to accommodate us. The food was delicious and came in huge portions, the service was stellar as well. Would definitely visit again whenever im in NY.
All was excellent. The only drawbacks...1 - serving margaritas with sugar... why?...Who started this wacky trend and how has that become a standard for margaritas? We stressed salt on the rim and we still got it with sugar. 2 - we ordered 2 oreo zeppoles for dessert. The description in the menu said that it came with vanilla ice cream. It was served with a bowl of whipped cream, no ice cream. When I asked about the ice cream the waiter replied that the item is now being served with whipped cream, not ice cream. Needless to say, after a little discussion, I was served the 2 bowls of ice cream but I wasnt happy with the arbitrary change and not being told ahead about it.
I wasnt having the best of days but as soon as I walked into the Pine a delivery person warmly greeted my lady and I. It set a great tempo. The host was so nice and chipper and accommodated us to a booth seat which was partitioned off by plexiglass windows on either side of the makeshift booth. It was both safe and romantic. The food was spot on, the service was first rate, the bathrooms were spotless. If I could give 10 stars I would. Id like to personally thank the entire staff including the valet, busperson, waitstaff and host. The food was so delicious we got more food to go. This was the best experience Ive had in a restaurant in two years.
The food is quite good. But a delivery lady once told me in English that the tip was too small, and when I called her back to confront her, she said she didnt know English. If u guys arent overly sensitive, then the food is worth it. Pasta Fagioli soup is good. I also like the Shrimp Parm, but they should serve it on top of the pasta instead of separately (u want the pasta to absorb the sauce). Portions are big enough for an adult couple to share.
This was my first time at F&J Pine Restaurant, but I can assure you, it wont be my last! We received a warm welcome from Marco, the manager, when we arrived (even without reservations) and our waiter, Ambrocio, was superb. Fresh bread was brought over immediately and I was nicely surprised when a beautiful salad appeared, since I didnt even know it was included with our meals. My entree of Fusilli Melanzane was excellent and plentiful enough that Ive got dinner for tomorrow! My husband said his Eggplant Rollatini was excellent. My brother and his wife enjoyed the picante pizza and a shrimp entree. The creme brulee was perfect and my husband devoured his chocolate lava cake and ice cream. The restaurant is large and nicely decorated. What a find!!!
This place has changed so much. Their prices have gone sky high and their portions have dropped to joke sizes. I ordered the fried ravioli and mozzarella stick combo for an appetizer, and an order of quattro formaggio ravioli for the main course. The appetizer consisted of four raviolis about the size of a quarter that were obviously frozen, and three triangular mozzarella sticks that were not bad. And they came with vodka sauce and marinara sauce. That appetizer was about $20. The main course arrives, and its eight raviolis on the plate. Another $20. I always over-order at restaurants. Not something Im proud of, just stating a fact. But I ate both dishes, spent $40 on myself alone, and the worst part? Wasnt even full. I actually had to go home and order myself a burger from my favorite diner. My family and I used to go to this place every Saturday with my late aunt. The prices were lower, the portions were greater, and the decor was nice, but not overstated like it is now. I hate what this place has become. Looking forward to never going back.
Malcolm Patrick Distributors had our employee appreciation dinner her and our employees absolutely loved the restaurant. The staff catered to our every need and provided us with the most excellent service. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone that would like to have the best dinner experience.
GM was very helpful giving us an acces to the table we just needed. It was great. Plain to stay longer. This is not quick place. Awesome service, excellent food. You don want to miss grilled baby lamb steaks with broccoli rave. Pizza is to die for, just like in Italia. Pine is a good choice.
The food was amazing, the service was so fast and the workers were very sweet. It was my moms birthday and they remembered from the moment it was mentioned as we walked in the door until after dessert. I really recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back again! :)

2022-05-17Consistently excellent. We have enjoyed both catered events and lunch or dinner at The Pine. The food is fresh and delicious. The servers are courteous and accommodating BUT do not try to make a last minute reservation. Plan ahead. Same day reservations are tough to get. You wont be disappointed. From the fresh baked bread, to crisp salads, to tasty wings, to the extensive menu, you cant make a wrong choice.

2022-04-14We got there after 9pm on a busy Saturday night. They had a huge party going on so we we had to wait a little, about 15 minutes bit it was well worth the wait because the service and the food was amazing. The attention paid by the staff was great and the food came out on time, and at the right temperature. I would definitely recommend going here, whoever is in charge of this place runs a tight ship and probably pays their staff well

2022-06-192.5 if I could but needs better attentive service. Our waiter was faster and more attentive to bigger tables which is understandable but our first time, celebration birthday not very memorable. Plus loud music from a prom and the bathroom was disgusting. Unfortunately our chicken and shrimp got mixed up when they did our food to go and my wife is highly allergic to shrimp.

2021-07-22The Pine is the perfect place to find authentic Italian food for both intimate dinners or larger events. Their event space has been recently updated and has outdoor patio access which was perfect our summer party! So appreciative of the staff who worked out every detail and hosted such an incredible night.

2022-06-27I would give it no star. The food is horrible no taste. I ordered a seafood risotto and instead of risotto, they used short-grain rice. The cost was 38.00 dollars. Stay away from this place. We had a large party and two people who ordered the chicken parmigiana and eggplant parmigiana said the sauce was good. Its been many years since we stop going to this place. My son graduated and he picked this place. So I decided maybe their food is better now. We will never give money away. The check was over a thousand dollars. which its ok if the food was tasty and get real risotto. I dont recommend this place.

2022-05-12Enjoyed dinner at the Pines this evening. Overall the service was OUTSTANDING! My server was cordial and attentive. The restaurant was superbly clean including the bathroom. Spacing of tables was appropriate for having enough privacy while dining. As for the food. Bread was warm and toasted perfectly. The salad was fresh, crisp and the dressing was delicious.I ordered shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. It was just ok. The shrimp were colossal and there were 6 but they were a bit tough. The lamb chops with rosemary were UNBELIEVABLE! Cooked perfectly and there were 6 double chops. Amazingly tasty. Highly recommended. The dessert was described (on the dessert menu) as NY style cheesecake with graham cracker crust. That’s the only cheesecake I’ll indulge in. However, this cheesecake did not have graham cracker crust. It had that spongy cake crust. The cheesecake itself was not smooth and creamy. The slice of cheesecake was not worth $12, so I’ll definitely pass next time I visit.Portions were BIG.The price is reasonable and the restaurant itself was welcoming.Overall 4 stars and of course I’ll be back.
