I set out on my annual post-Memorial Day quest with a list of what I wanted for my garden/landscape along with a list of my favorite nurseries/greenhouses. My first stop was FBM where I found everything I had hoped to (including one gem I had been looking for for two years), along with much inspiration and some new ideas. Staff went out of their way to help and answer my questions. Fair pricing was a pleasant surprise, as was a credit from last year! With no reason to pursue other sources, I hurried home to plant my treasures. I feel quite accomplished having everything in the ground earlier than prior years, thanks to FBM.I would like to add: I encountered a fellow gardener at a recent eye doctor appointment in Waverly who professed her loyalty to FBM. We’ll deserved.Many thanks for all FBM has to offer our communities.

The variety of perennials is impressive, but you are missing out if you don’t ask for guidance on planting. They helped me turn a ho hum garden into a real delight.Really great folks who know their flowers and plants, whether it’s the perennials or annuals, or perhaps a fig tree for your sun room ( yeah, I did that) they are a ton of help.Check out the delphinium I got there last year, thanks Loren!

Farmer Browns always has good quality plants. They go out if the way to help you. The Uncle is the best. He will teach you how to care for your plants and how to cut them down for the winter. He is so friendly
Love visiting new greenhouses..Definitely has everything you need for your garden and outdoor decor but the prices here are definitely higher than the Amish greenhouses I buy from ... Overall has quality plants and lots of lawn decor and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I have been very pleased with the plants I have purchased at Farmer Browns. I normally buy a large amount of flowers and most of the plants for my vegetable garden. In addition to the great plants, I found the staff to be very helpful and courteous. I am thankful that we have this business in our area.
Farmer Browns Marketplace is my Go to place for annuals, perennials and hanging baskets. I always find the the largest and healthiest plants.The staff is knowledgeable, eager and ready to help. They are a great place to go if you know plants, but more important they are a great place to go if you do not know plants.I highly recommend them.

I fell in love with this place the first time I went! They have a huge selection of flower and plants. The staff is lovely to work with and is happy to answer any questions you may have. I bought a ton of succulents from them and couldt be happier. Cant wait to go back!

Farmer Brown’s is my go-to place when I need fillers for my gardens or when something doesn’t get a good start in my greenhouse. I have always found vigorous and healthy plants and, just recently, some pretty unique and funky houseplants too! The staff is friendly and able to answer most questions and, perhaps more importantly, honest when they’re not sure and willing to check it out. Farmer Brown’s is a local business and caters to the community.. you may pay a (tiny!) bit more, but the quality and atmosphere more than makes up for it over the national chains.
The workers were so kind and we appreciate your donation for our golf tournament it was a huge success and we were able to send over $3000 up to the MDA office in Syracuse thank you again for everything you did!! I highly recommend Farmer Browns.
INCREDIBLE by far the best plant selection in the area. Plenty of parking and right off Rt 434. I cant forget about the merchandise area with various items for growing including gloves,various sized pots and tools for planting and cultivating.
I Was able to find fresh vegetables and fruits from area growers that help my family get the nutrients they needed for a healthy diet.The annual and perennials that I bought added beautiful colors and scents to my yard for years to come.
I love Farmer Browns Marketplace. There is a large variety of annuals and perennials to choose from. I find their assortment is varied and extensive if you want something beyond the normal petunias and marigolds. There are some varieties I only find here each season and no where else.
Just stopped by to get a couple plants for a hanging basket. Ive been shopping here for years. Love the new look. Watched as an employee worked with several different customers picking out just the right flowers, for just the right spot, in just the right color. What a great service. Always has been a great place for plants...... now a super, great place! Thanks for being in Apalachin and so close to home!
I went on June 6th to support the Master Gardeners sale and found multiple other items to buy as well. The owner was very attentive and spent time with me to help determine what kind of shrub might work for a problematic spot in my yard, even though there were many other customers milling about. It was a very good shopping experience!
This yearly stop bester than ever . Plants best shape , staff mostest friendly , and costs kept low enough to be worth the trip . CASH is king and we Obliged .Beware of gawking, distracted customers looking for plants more than people 🤣😂😅
We ordered our Christmas Wreath from Farmer Browns Marketplace, it was perfect! The owners and staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and courteous. When I shop at Farmer Browns for annual bedding plants and vegetables, I always find great variety, hardy plants and reasonable prices. Its a favorite of my friends and neighbors, too, so its best to shop early in the season when herbs and certain popular flowers are available.
While the holiday season may be over, my outdoor cedar wreath and pine garland around my front door is still looking wonderful! Farmer Brown made these and also a greenery swag for my coffee table. Received many compliments from visitors who commented fresh greens are such a beautiful decorative accent for the home...and I agree! Always excellent quality and customer service. I went to FMBs this week to pick up some mums. They have a wonderful selection of mums plus many other items to decorate for fall. The staff is so friendly and I was pleased to hear they will be staying open throughout December. I always stop here when I need a gift.

My entire garden came from Farmer Browns Marketplace and is thriving in full force! My small, but lush garden space has NEVER LOOKED SO GREAT! Prices are resonable, and gave my garden a lot of bang for the buck. I will not hesitate to shop at Farmer Browns Marketplace when it is time for my autumn displays (no rush)! So many wonderful changes for the better are happening there. The new owner (Logan) must take great pride and passion in his work. It shows! Im anxious to see what FBM does next. 2021-05-29WOW!!! What a great experience!! I just stopped in to buy my girlfriend a plant. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by smiling faces. I asked where certain plants were. The employees everyone of them were more then happy to help. I also asked several questions about proper growing techniques for the different plants I was buying. The staff was Very knowledgeable. What a pleasant surprise. The variety of plants and shrubs and trees was Amazing. What an incredible selection for this area.Now heres the best part...I couldnt believe how inexpensive things were?!?. I have shopped at several places in the area, this was by far the most reasonable. So my advice. Forget that department store and dont buy anywhere else till you check this wonderfully run business out. I already know your experience will be great like my own. I dont usually write this much. I WAS TRULY IMPRESSED!!!!! This is a local business done right.

2022-05-15What a fun, happy place! Beautiful and endless choices of annuals and perennials! Many thoughtfully planted pots and baskets, veggie plants and herbs! Helpful staff asking questions to help make those hard choices easier, “ are you looking for a certain plant? Something for a sunny or shady spot”? Water plants, and water for people and a little gift market to boot! Lovely!

2022-06-09Great place for all of your garden needs. Prices are reasonable and the plants are high quality. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Some Sundays in the summer they feature live music which is a great added bonus to the shopping experience.

2022-05-09Friendly people. Wide selection of all garden plants. Fun to walk around. Great prices. We happened to be looking for late Basil plants and they were getting rid of their left overs. They gave it all to us for a very low price. We dried it all and we still have bags of Basil for over a year.

2022-06-13Farmer browns is in my books one of the best places to get everything you need for your flower boxes, gardens, raised beds and more, there flowers are always top notch and I have never been disappointed with any of there product! The staff is very Knowledgeable and friendly, they go out of their way to make sure you get what you want, and will be satisfied and happy.

They now have a Naturalistic shop right on site for whatever ails you..Did you know that animals will instinctual seek out herbs for medicinal reasons?So I consulted with the on site herbalist, to help me create my own sensory garden, that my pets can help themselves to as needed.I started my sensory garden with some Lavendar, which is known for its calming effects on the nervous .I have since added a St Johns Wort plant, known for its antidepressant properties.I plan to add a some mint plants to my sensory garden for its calming effect on the stomach, besides it tastes great in Sun tea too!So whats your favorite herb and why?

2022-06-16Nice market for plants and pond supplies. My wife and I thought it was a little too expensive. We bought a quart of fresh strawberries for $7.50 and they werent sweet.
