My Physical Therapist, Jill and her assistants, Liz and Joe were amazing! They made me feel comfortable and right at home from the very first appointment. They are very attentive, knowledgeable and caring. In fact, that is overall feeling you get from the minute you walk in the door. The receptionists are polite and helpful. The other therapists and aides are always willing to lend a hand or answer any questions regardless of whose patient you are. Everybody there genuinely cares about you and your recovery. I definitely recommend Farmingdale Physical Therapy West if you are looking for a Physical Therapist.
I cant say enough about the professionalism and the dedication that the staff displays. I have been to other places and felt like I was being run through a factory. Not at Farmingdale Physical Therapy. They practice their craft as if its a culture.After one visit I was already starting to feel some relief. Now after little over a week Im moving around better, sleeping better and I have hope that the pain can be stopped with simple no invasive methods.Thank you all very much!
Best physical therapy yet! I’ve had three surgeries on my left knee and the treatment has been impeccable. The staff and therapists were welcoming, encouraging and supportive. Would recommend to friends and family!
I have had a very successful and enjoyable experience at Farmingdale Physical Therapy West. It is a family atmosphere, very welcoming and my therapist, Jill, is fantastic. I started in 2018, prior to my spinal fusion surgery and then 6 months after the surgery. I have come a long way back and feel very strong.
Ive had a great experience with everyone over at Farmingdale Physical Therapy West. I had a somewhat challenging physical therapy regimen due to the surgery I underwent, and with their help and guidance Ive recovered more functioning and range of motion than was initially anticipated.Thanks for all the help along the way!
Had my first visit here today, met with Vin, one of the PTs who was very knowledgeable and professional. All the staff were great, they found a time slot to squeeze me in to help relieve my pain. Looking forward to going back for more therapy sessions.
The Physical Therapy was very good.. the therapists were knowledgeable in their care for the patient.. The therapy assistants work the hardest and no matter how many patients they took care of they always smiled and were professional. THE WHOLE TEAM made each one of us patients feel like they cared and were always concerned about how we felt.... Definitely will use them again and refer them to other people...Step 2

I have been going here a few weeks for knee issues and absolutely love this place. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgable. I have had the pleasure of working with Jill and she is simply amazing. All the therapists there are fantastic! I specifically worked with Jill. She really is amazing! She takes the time to get to know the person and their history! Jill is very understanding and will do anything she can to help a person!
My husband and son have been treated here and the treatment they have received has been above and beyond. They are professional and so caring . They make sure their patients have recovered to their fullest potential and provide the information they need for aftercare therapy to continue at home to recover fully.

Some of the best physical therapists on the Island. Not only highly skilled in their craft but overall, great people. Ive regained so much more strength that im able to dance again!! Such great energy from all employees that the sessions just seemed to fly by... fyi its hard to balance when you keep laughing lol (i had a broken toe)

Entire staff is professional, proficient, friendly, caring and, most notably, concerned about my progress. Motivation and positive reinforcement are very big here, and it really helps. Needing surgery and PT is not something you wish for. Injuries happen and Ive had my share. Of the PT centers Ive rehabbed with this is the place to be. I dont wish anyone to need it, but, if you do you may as well enjoy the environment, the staff and the comradary.

Amazing experience here at farmingdale during my time there. I had recently torn my meniscus and the therapist here really got me back on my feet. Not only are they great at PT, but they are taking great precautions to stop the spread of COVID 19.
Since falling off a roof back in 2014 i have been going to fmpt west. Butch, Vin and the entire crew have been fantastic throughout all my surgerys, daily aches, pains issues.Highly recommend!Keep it going!

I personally went to Farmingdale West PT in 2015, for my back, after a recommendation from my dad who saw Butch and worked on him after having both knee replacements. Since then I have taken my daughter (for her legs) and now take my grandmother for cane therapy. I can not thank Butch enough, along with his aides, Joe Cottone and Daniel Kalvoda, for both of them working and pushing my grandmother each week in helping her getting better with her cane therapy for over a month now. I personally have seen an improvement in her mobility and her balance. Thank you to Butch, Joe & Daniel. You guys are the best! I will definitely be recommending Farmindale West PT to anyone & everyone who asks for a Physical Therapist!

Great spot to go for some PT. The staff is extremely welcoming and professional. They will work with you on your time and at your pace. I’ve gone to a couple of different PT practices over the years, but this is by far the best one I’ve been to!

Great P.T. here. Friendly. Lots of support for therapists. They dont rush you through your reps like a lot of places do. They also frequently sanitize tables and equipment...very important these days. Can get crowded at busy peak times but I never had to wait. I would definitely recommend this P.T. location.
I first met “Butch” Purslow in the 1990’s when l injured my foot and have been going to FPTW ever since for any problem that arises. Butch and his entire staff are an open book of medical knowledge. They are able to evaluate and set you up with a program designed especially for you. I also took advantage of the Weight Loss Center of L.I. that is part of FPTW. It is a conditioning and weight loss program under the watchful eye of professional trainer Rich Purslow.So as you can see, FPTW is the full package.
My friend Mr. Callaghan Introduced this physical therapy establishment to one of my family members, and it has been by far the best experience for her. The staff is impeccable and extremely cultivated !

I am a 60 year old man that just recently surgery and I want to shout out to the staff at Farmingdale PT West for there professionalism and keeping up your spirits up at a time when your in alot of pain coming off a surgery .I had a total shoulder replacement and my surgeon explained to me that the surgery was successful but the important stage of fully recovering is the Physical therapy so a friend refered me to this facility and I now have full use to my shouler like i was 25 years old again.Three months going there for pt I alwasys had a well trained and experienced therapist 3 times a week always by my side pushing me HARD to get back all of my range of motion and strength!!!I want to mostly thank Kevin and Rich who is my 2 PTs who were so very knowlegeble in every question i asked and i asked alot of ?s.My surgeon was so impressed of my recovery he now sends alot of his patients here .There should be more stars for than 5 stars for this review again thanks!!
This is the best physical therapist. I do not say that lightly. We drove from Mount Sinai to Bethpage 3 daysa week.Butch treated our son as if he was his own. Butch should be in the hall of fame for therapists.BTW- Our son was back on the field after ACL Surgery in 4 months. Amazing!
Every therapist (especially Kevin) that I have worked with is caring, skilled and focused on my treatment in helping me achieve my goals and be pain free.
They were able ro get my daughter back to playing soccer after an ACL repair and my mothers range of motion back after shoulder replacement. The whole staff is extremely knowledgeable in their respective fields. The level of expertise displayed is unparalleled.

I had painful jaw that was out of place. They helped to set it back in place with adjustments,heat & massage.10 visits or a few more. Would go back recommend ,very busy office make a few appointments in advance.

2022-05-13Jill, Sarah & staff are wonderful! I struggle with chronic pain due to my disability and pt helps! I enjoy coming for pt for the past few years! Shes the most wonderful pt i have ever had ! the friendly / positive, atmosphere is outstanding , I always leave in a happier mood than i came!. If you are hesitant to see a pt look no further and try it out, you wont regret it, I know i dont and im so thankful :)

2021-10-27I personally really like this place. Everyone in the staff is very nice and helpful. They lead you on the right track to reach your goal. They show genuine interest in the patient and follow up on how youre doing. They are clean, tidy and responsible. I especially like Matt who is helping me. He takes his time doesnt rush me and makes sure I know what exercises to do when Im at home . He also encourages me and assures me that Ill do better. Overall everyone at farmingdale is great and know what theyre doing. 👌

2018-03-15This place is also known as the BETHPAGE MEDICAL CENTER. Very big place, but very hard to find parking. Better lookout for parking at the rear of the building.I happened to visit the suite 206, they have enough sitting place. Had to fill up 5-6 forms before I can get going. The sad part was that, they DONT have a water purifier from where you can drink water in case you feel thirsty due to long wait. Strong suggestion for the suite 206 would be to get a water purifier in place.Apart from that, the staff working over there are very nice and helpful.

2022-02-11Matt, my PT at Farmingdale PT West, is always coming up with things to challenge and motivate me. He patiently answers all my questions, even if I’ve asked the same question a dozen times. Although my progress is slow, Matt and Farmingdale PT west haven’t given up on me.

2021-05-12Vince was absolutely amazing,very knowledgeable person. However billing department and the front desk dont have the same professional level etiquette. They called me and told me they are canceling my appointment because I was running a few minutes late and they going to charge me. Now I understand Im at fault and Ive would have happily taken the hit if they just approached it a bit more professionally. Being rude while threatening to charge someone is never a nice approach even if the customer is wrong. You wanna charge me, fine. You wanna cancel the appointment, fine.... Just be nice about it.There are 20 physical therapy places in my 5 miles radius.

2020-10-26I have been a patient at Farmingdale Physical Therapy West since 2012.They have seen me through 3 joint replacements and other problems.Their care was exceptional. They truly care for their patients and by that I mean physically and emotionally. Youre not just another body. Youre a person that needs care and support as well as physical therapy. You get all of that there!

2021-05-05I went to Farmindale physical therapy for a problem I am having with my shoulder. I was evaluated and given a plan of treatment to follow by Kevin who was confident he could help me. Since starting the therapy my pain and limitations have lessened greatly. I find Kevin and the other members of the staff very professional and more importantly very concerned with my comfort while doing my therapy. My wife had been to Farmindale physical therapy and highly recommended them to me and now I know why. I would recommend these people to anyone who needs therapy and wants to be treated by a group of caring professionals.

2021-09-10I first came to Farmingdale PT about one week ago. I was scheduled w Jill and Kevin picked up my chart. My R knee subluxation is getting much better w the exercises and explanation Kevin gave me. He was clear, patient and very informative. I wish I could stay w him but w my time constraints secondary to work obligations I need a later appt.
