It was actually a pleasant experience this time was a able to pull right up to the drive-thru do my order didnt have long weeks anything like that the order was right the people that work there were seem to be in a good everything was orderly really good experience there first time in a long time the guy doing the drive-thru knows what hes doing for sure
Terrible service waited 20 min for cold fries and when we went in for our food they said they were waiting for the fries but they were cold so how??And they mischarged me and gave me the wrong nugget count and said that they were gonna charge me for their mess up very disappointed ๐ wont be going back for a while..
Nothing worse then ordering something to bea made fresh, and then what you get is so old its dehydrated ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ.When you give people old food, its called ripping them off.* McDonalds should not sell McNuggets *If they are not right out of the fryer,THEY ARE DISGUSTING!
I never eat McDonaldโs but omg I have to share how disgusted I am with my order. There was a tiny hair found in my small fries and the lettuce on the mcchicken was brown / not fresh. Disgusting and reminds me why I never eat at this disgusting establishment. Plus, this location situation is a joke.
Waited in drive through for more than 10 minutes - line not moving. Ended up pulling out of line and left. Dont go here! Lot is hard to get in and out of. Im not expecting a lot from McDonalds, but quick service should be at least provided. Plus, why are the shake machines always broken? Whats with that???
Tried to order in the store but staff was to busy and no one was working the front counter apparently waited for 15 min then said forget it went through drive thru. Buns were hard cheeseburgers were cold and they messed up the order. Tried explaining this to them several times and just gave me an extra cheese burger when I ordered #7 meal with a vanilla shake. They tried to give me a cone instead of the shake. Guess didnt have to pay for it but wasnt what I had ordered in the first place. If the drive thru had read back the order this could of been fixed. Very disappointed
The employees use the lobby as a place to watch their kids while working. Its hard to tell if the reason for never getting your order fast or correct. Just ordered 4 burgers a certain way. Top one was correct next 3 wrong. Maybe watching their children while working is too much of a distraction. just horrible
I dont know what happened to this place. We ordered through drive through. At home,, when I opened my big mac, there was nothing between the two top buns. My husband order a double quarter pounder and had nothing between patties, not a single slice of tomato or onion. NEVER COMING BACK to MCDONALDS. I would rather go to a proper restaurant and have a nice burger for the same price.
If I could rate this McDonalds a zero I would. Its the most disgraceful and disgusting place I have ever been to. The people who are working night shift are awful. Employees are going home in the middle of an order. The customer service is horrible. They need to do better!!!
This particular franchise is extremely clean and fast! Sometimes a little too fast when doing drive thru orders as they have made a few minor errors nothing permanent though! Id also like to add that they do inflate the prices due too cost and salaries im sure! I will also say that they arent over pricing as some franchises have. So thanks for not price gouging.
The woman who just took my order. And accepted my payment. Was so sweet. I wasnt having a good morning. And she literally seemed like she genuinely loved her job. She simply told me to have a blessed day at the end of our interaction and for some reason it changed my whole mood. My 16hr shift is going to be different because of her and I hope she knows it.
Yesterday afternoon, no one was taking an order through the drive through fir 15minutes. Didnโt get no service. We drive around the circle, staff was talking with each other the 2 (guy & girl) yesterday but not doing there job. We were there and got no service. Other customers were inside but no one could take a drive through order. Ridiculous.
So I went there today to get mine and my wifes and my children food and we had an order that was $24 dollars and the girl on the speaker ask our order 3 times she didnt even put the whole order on there and we didnt notice it till we got home they are always fooling around and always not paying attention and always messing up someone needs to go There and control the place because the managers apparently dont care
Usually only order fries or chicken nuggets from here, wife will get a burger sometimes also. Only wish the people at the registers had gloves on, during these times would make a lot of people feel better Burger king is still doing this. Also sanitizing between customers wouldnt hurt, money and cards have a lot of germs on them and these days we learned a lot about germs.I dont really have high expectations these days due to our current global pandemic situation. But a little courtesy at the window goes a long way. the person who took my payment had not much to say, the one who had my food was friendly.Three stars as the food is always usually good, two stars missing due to lack of interest from employees and lack of ppe or sanitizing. I know that NY has lifted restrictions but some of us still feel the need to be safe. I felt like asking her at the window to at least use sanitizer or put gloves on but though she would get mad. Sorry but yall are handling food either put gloves on or sanitize, or do both.
If I could give them zero stars I would. Worst drive through place I have ever been to in my life. We first wanted to order 2 fries and a milkshake and they told us they were cleaning their milkshake machine so we couldnโt get that. Then our fries took about 30 minutes to come out and when they came out they were cold and soggy. Everyone we came in contact that worked in the store did have a mask and someone even sneezed. Everyone was extremely rude and they deserve to be put out of business.
My experience at this Mc Donalds and just about all Mc Donalds is about the same. The food is never fresh and alot of the time the people serving us arent friendly. At this one the guy taking our money was pleasant but the woman who was in charge of handing out the food had not one word to say to us. The food wasnt gross but it was definitely on the older side of things. We spent $30.00 here. I expect A LOT more for my money. Mc Donalds has very low standards for their restraints these days. I may stop going to all Mc Donalds all together. We should all expect more for our hard earned dollars. We deserve it.
My friends and I use this McDonalds pretty often, and about 4 out of 5 times they get our order perfect. Their service is quick and my only complaint is that sometimes after 2am they make us pay in cash and limit the menu when on the app we can order dinner items until 3:59am. Overall great McDonalds
Horrible service. Workers are not nice and sometimes never even acknowledge you in the drive through. The food is always under cooked especially the fry. They are always soggy. I just stopped going because its ALWAYS like that. 4 YEARS AGOUPDATE: The service is way better now. The people there are good workers. They are not too engaging but the food is cooked well and that is all that matters. It is hit or miss with the fries but mostly they are crispy and delicious. 6/8/21
Worst place Ive ever ate at.. I often go there trying to give them second chances and there staff are so rude and have no manners I am over polite and they still dont say thank you, youre welcome nothing..everyday they say the shake machines down because they are too lazy to make it or clean it.I always ask for my food fresh off the fryer they never make it fresh off the fryer the food is always colder overcooked from in the microwave... I give this place a negative five star
Dinner didnt cook quick enough in the crock pot so ran out for a quick meal. Used the app with the curbside pickup option. Half hour later I went in and was immediately asked by a staff member if I was the mobile order. I said yes and before I could say anything else the staff member walked away.I heard them in the back getting my order together, a half hour later and not brought to the car as per the app order. I was then haphazardly given my bags and had to ask for my drinks. The manager stated they couldnt pull up the order and handed me cups to get the drinks myself. I attempted to ask for a drink tray, but the manager disappeared and no one was around to ask.This was yesterday around 7 PM. They had plenty of staff. And I watched them take many cars that arrived after me through the drive thru.I have to say, I dont think Ive ever seen a staff care so little about anything. Good to know people cant be bothered to do their jobfs. If you dont want to bring the orders curb side, dont offer the option.Called to file a complaint with the store after getting home because they gave me the wrong size fry and was hung up on. So yeah, great experience all around.
Always check your order before leaving. When theyre running low on supplies they replace it by using other items to fill that order. For example if theyre running out of buns for a certain order they will use what they have without letting you know. Be careful. Always fast.
Ordered 2 orange juices, 2 big breakfast and a egg mcmuffin. Guy taking my order said cash only and didnt give me a receipt. Said machines were down but I paid 25.95 cash. I went online and checked prices seemed off.Did you raise prices? Or do you have a manager that is stealing money?Was between 330am and 4am
Went here the other day. The last at the door was so rude. Said thank you to her she just grilled me and rolled her eyes. Slammed the door. Than the man working with her had no mask on what so ever and kept rubbing his nose. Safe to say weโre calling corporate Monday and threw all the food away. Never again.
Little hectic behind the counter, but thats just fast food I guess.The kiosk had an issue printing my receipt, normally Id just reorder so I dont have to bother anyone, but I used a one time QR code from the app and chose to pay at the counter.Went up the manager came right over and looked it up, I payed she had the cup on the counter before I even handed her the cash.Very polite and courteous, the staff in the back just seemed like they were fighting with here on everything.
It was a good experience. It was funny that the lady was accidentally talking on the other lanes speaker. Got the order and the food was good, but I also ordered a small fry and 6 PC with sweet and sour and there were 5 fries in the bottom of the bag and I got the 6 PC without any sauce. Besides that, the people were nice and friendly, but I think the people on the front end doing condiments and fries need to pay more attention to detail on the board.
I just went through the drive thru. Very rude and I didnโt even get my complete order !!! The employee handing out the food was swearing and disrespectful, waited 20 mins which I understand it was busy but most of staff was very rude and did not get my full order , make sure you always check your order before you drive off. They also had a customer standing at window waiting for their order and he grabbed drink from employee and handed to the customer which I think is absolutely wrong. Worst customer service ever
Not a friendly McDonalds at all! Waited 6 minutes before team member informed us they had no pies! We told her we will wait the 12 minutes for them to bake and the worker walked away and didnt return to the front for a few minutes. No sense of urgency to come greet any new customers at the front counter and seen guest walk out. Still waiting on them pies...... 16 minutes here! They got the one star for the free WiFi to make this post. Order was placed at 7:49PM and after waiting for 30 minutes I question the employee about the hold up. The excuse was โthe pies were to warm and they keep breaking.โ Yet, just seconds before someone else get pies that ordered well after we did. We wait 7 additional minutes for them to finally process a refund. Time to get it together!
A friend and I walked into the allegedly 24 hour lobby where a family was ordering food at the counter and a second family sitting at a table with their food and the cashier said that the lobby was closed. I said I thought it was a 24 hour lobby, since thats what it said on the door, but for future reference when does the lobby close? And she just responded with It doesnt close, but right now were closed and kicked us out
I pulled into the 2nd lane of the double drive thru and was overlooked while 5 others were served in the first lane. I drove up to the window, the cashier had to get assistance to input my order and then the person who did take my order got it wrong!!!! Who gives black iced coffee when sweet tea was the request!!! I ordered egg mcmuffin and sausage biscuit with egg...I guess because I got the egg mcmuffin i didnt need egg on the biscuit because I didnt get it!!!
I have ordered from here several times over the past month, giving them several chances to actually deliver. Not once have they brought my order. They have, on three occasions, straight up canceled my orders. Completely awful service, provides no information about waits or cancellations, and claims to be open much later than they seem to be considering they never deliver my food.
Its okay but they need more staff in the evenings or something. There is always about a 10 minute wait at the drive thru. I have been skipping this one and going to Latham instead even though its out of my way. The food is usually fresh and the staff is pretty cool but they obviously need some help and if management wont give it to them its their fault!
Disgusting. Hair in my bag and also my chicken nuggets. Was on my to great escape WITH 2 KIDS and didnt have time to turn around and complain. We paid for an entire meal that was never consumed.. absolutely nasty. And terrible customer service when I called the following day. I submitted my complaint to corporate so hopefully they can handle it..
For a McDonalds its just perfect. The wallpaper matches the mathematical design theme of nearby RPI (university). Food was good and everything was so clean. Very fast service, and friendly too. I noted that you can order ahead. Overall, looks like a great operation.
Truly the worse place they have sitting the drove thru you can clearly see they was messing up the orders with the people in front of me so I finally get to the last window they pass me a bag thats no my order get the food home and everything is cold everything this place need new management fast or it needs to close down very unprofessional and unorganized wont be back final straw waste of money and time

Fries werent up to the standard, crispy buttermilk chicken was amazing though. Service took some time (relative to the standards set by McDonalds.. it took about 5 mins wait time for an empty McDonalds). Ambience isnt very good, will recommend for take out or drive through only
Really the worst and slowest McDonalds Ive ever been to. Staff was calling out random items from orders instead of the order number like every other McDonalds. When customers didnt realize it was their order, the staff got upset and started screaming at customers. It took almost 10 minutes to order and another 20 to get two very standard orders. While waiting for food I noticed flies all over the menu screens and a bunch of employees just standing around in the back. I wont ever be back to this location.
Its great for morning get up and go Monday through Friday but a whole different place at night or even on the weekends. No care to how the food is prepped or the service. Theres a half witted manager who just shrugs and brushes any issues you have. He doesnt at all mind showing you he couldnt care less. This doesnt take away from the weekday morning crew who rock it. Id give 5 star if it was just them but unfortunately its not.

Its a McDonalds joint. And its good for what it is. Although, if you are willing to wait for 10-12 minutes for your order instead of getting served fast food, I would recommend that you try out the salads instead of the usual burgers. They actually put some decent effort into making them.
I emailed corporate pertaining to a young woman bagging food inside for takeout and drive thru with her mask under her chin and chewing gum will talking to other employees. During Covid this is unacceptable and due to mandates posted on doors for this for customers it must not apply to certain employees. I heard nothing back and will not go there ever again! I gave a date and time I was there in the lobby. I told them to review cameras for that time and date as well and get the team on board for the mandated guidelines pertaining to Covid compliance as a restaurant.I mentioned in the post that it would be bad if the Health Department got wind of this. No response!!Stay away from the Troy NY Hoosick and 15th St. location. Also a week earlier at drive-thru I was almost charged over 5 dollars for a sausage biscuit.When asked for a manger they said โWe donโt have oneโ I dealt with bad attitudes there due to not having enough employees on past orders which I understand to a point. But safety for customers and employees is not prevalent. Stay away RPI students and all who want to be careful to not contract this virus. That location does not care for the community.
I get out of work at 4 am. Three times over the last month the employees have had some reason why they cant make food. First they said the computers were down and I could come back in an hour, the next time they told me they were only doing certain items from the full menu, and tonight I drive through and they tell me theyre only taking cash and making breakfast food. I hope the owner checks into this because it seems more like slacking off than anything else, but its not my problem because I wont go to this location again

I think if I ever got a big mac from this location that didnt instantly fall apart once it was removed from the container Id have a heart attack..Between the amazing service and the cold fries its definitely one of the worst stores in the area,aside from the Latham one.
Hoosick St McDonalds. Stood at register for 20 minutes no one served me, looked at me but never acknowledged me or apologized for the wait. I just left work and had a sick wife at home who wanted burgers. I got there at 307 and walked out at 325. Drive thru customers were piling up inside carrying bags of screwed up orders that needed to be fixed. They were being ignored as well. One employee did come to the front and i figured Id finally get served but no. I guess it was her break. She rang up a drink for herself and walked away. I had it and walked out and went to the Waterford McDonalds. Good service there. I will starve to death before going to that dump again.
Very rude girl at the counter. When I went to place my order she snapped at me and pointed and said I had to use the kiosk station over there. I bit my tongue turned around and placed my order. When it said here or to go I stated we were eating in and put in the next number available into the system. Screen said take your number and have a seat and food will be delivered to your table. My son and I were sitting at our table in plain site of the counter. The same young girl yells out an order number...she yells it out a second time...then she yells out the details of my order that she clearly put in a to go bag. I walk up to the counter again biting my tounge... take my order as she then proceeds to say apparently people have hearing problems today. As much as I wanted to snap back and say no apparently you are having an issuing reading your screen that says eat in order at table 34...I dont...I just sit back down and my son says Mom didnt you put our order in for here? I said yes and showed him our receipt where my son says she was very rude and was supposed to bring our food to the table like the screen just said. I turned to him and said it has already been an exhausting day for me and I am not in the mood to engage in bad behavior. So for the next 15 minutes while we tried to eat our lunch and talk about his day we had to listen to the same rude young lady yell across the restaurant to her child who was maybe 5 years old sitting alone at a table while her mother worked ...that the little girl was nasty and a filthy slob and how she doesnt deserve nice things how she is done buying her shoes and how all she does is waste her mothers money. I look up at this rude young girl and next to her is one of the managers working drive thru, but not a word was said to the employee for her language or behavior or the way she spoke to customers. Great job McDonalds showing how important customer service is!!!
Employees not trained on sales or the menu, terrible tasting coffee, watery iced tea, wonโt do a refund when the employee screws up. Avoid this McDonaldโs at all cost. Go to the Stewarts down the street or go to a different McDonaldโs or a different place all together.
McDonalds is a very average product. I go when Im playing it safe on a road trip. The food will be acceptable, and everything I ate here met my expectations. But the service was terribly slow. It felt like I could have walked somewhere else, gotten lunch, and walked back in the time it took for the staff to provide my food. Disappointingโ McDonalds. Theres another just up the road, try there instead.
Its the same experience, not great but not terrible. But it just so happened that we got here when a big game just got out and for some reason everyone goes to this McDonalds instead of realizing the lines are ridiculous and driving half a mile to another McDonalds down the road. The staff seem to work at the same rhythm as if no one was in a rush.
Not the worst , but even for a McDonalds it was pretty sad. Ordered 2 quarter pound cheeseburgers when I bit into them they were both old dry cold overcooked and stale flavorless. They had been sitting around so long they left an aftertaste in my mouth that I will not describe here.
The worst fast food experience Ive ever had. Extremely rude and disrespectful employee at the drivethru. After being treated with irate attitude, and sarcastic service I paid for the meal I ordered which I received completely wrong and overpaid for something I never ordered. I asked for a refund and was told its to bad we cant refund. I tried asking for help and waited about ten minutes for someone to talk with no one helped I just left. Im reporting it to their corporate office.
Every time I go to the drive through they donโt give me any sauce even if I ask for it. Last time they charged me for extra sauce and I didnโt even get it. Going inside is just as bad. Horrible service and usually dirty. You can stand there for 5+ minutes before anyone takes your ticket for a McFlurry. Go somewhere else.
The last time I went to this location, my friend and I were very rudely treated by one of the shift managers- to the point where my son had to be taken outside because he didnt understand why an employee was yelling at us for wanting our food correct. When we spoke to the store manager, he said it was an ongoing problem with her. I did call corporate to notify them, but I refuse to use this location because of the obvious lack of respect for customers.
Took too long to take order cashier didnt seem to know what she was doing. I ordered things I had to explain to the server wasnt in the bag but was ordered I had to line my food up on the counter to show her!!!.. and I still didnt receive all I ordered!!!! the worst ever!!!! Got some lunch at the drive thru. The person who handed me food DID NOT HAVE A MASK OR GLOVES ON. While there is a shield at the window, if she coughs the droplets can land on the bag, the cups & lids. People can have COVID and be asymptomastic for 3-5 days. She could be spreading it to everyone who comes through.MASK YOUR FACE!!
Inattentive and rude workers. Three others were served before I was. I had to go to the counter to remind them that I had not been served. No apology was given, and the food was placed in a bag and thrown at me, despite the fact that I was eating in. Very disrespectful to customers and a disgraceful way to treat anyone who is hungry. I do not recommend this franchise.
Okay so you have a 24 hour McDonalds, why if no one is in the building and no one is ahead of me in drive thru am I waiting 15 minutes to have my order taken. Seriously? All i want is milkshakes. You want a higher wage for what? Everytime I come to this McDonalds its horrible service and the employees are useless and could care less about their job. I have spoke to the manager who is equally as ignorant. I have to say I wont be returning. I will drive an extra 5 minutes up the hill where service is much better.
This mcdonalds messes up my order every time I go there. The last time I went there, I ended up paying for 2 muffins I never got because I repeated my order 5 times to them and just gave up. Twice at the speaker, once at the first window, twice at the second window. The customer service is garbage also. All I got was eye rolls when I was trying to politely fix my order.
Slowest, sloppiest, most unorganized McDonalds Ive been to. Been here twice this week. Both times I went the the drive through. Both times I ordered the same thing, two buffalo ranch mcchickens. Last night it took ten minutes from the time I ordered to when reached the pick up window. The sandwiches I received were look warm at best, barely wrapped and totally falling apart, TONS of lettuce everywhere, and the tiniest amount of Buffalo sauce. Tonight it took SIXTEEN MINUTES TO GET THE SAME ORDER. I finally got back on the road only to find out they had given me a one regular mcchicken and a cheeseburger in a mcchicken wrapper. To top it all off, both of these incorrect sandwiches were stone cold. I wasnt going back after wasting so much time. Writing it off as a loss and not going back here ever again.
Any size coffee still $1-. And they usually 1.serve it HOT 2. Put the sugar in 3.provide lots of cream on the side . Have also enjoyed Sausage Biscuit from the all day Breakfast menu. Drive through service is efficient and polite. Sometimes friendly. Food and coffee has been consistently good. Tricky entrance! (s) i suggest in and out via 15th street.
McDonalds is famous for its burger. You can eat lots of types of burgers here, and with varying price ranging from 1$ to 6$ per burger. You can also find french fries, chicken nuggets, and chicken strips there. Burgers are usually chicken and beef. But there is also a fish burger there, which is quite tasty.
Poor customer service i ordered something in the drive throught and thet forgot to give me a mcchicken so i park and i go inside and i literly stand right infront of them by the register for about 10 minutes solid and nobody not once asked if i needed help with something.....had only a few bucks left and wanted to enjoy a decent quick meal and ended up still hungry through out the day
The McDonalds on hoosick is normally great in the morning. If you go late afternoon to night time its a hit and miss. Sometimes good sometimes not. I give it 4 star because its good 2 out of 3 times in the late evening to night time but its always spot on in the AM.
Went there Wed this week 2/26/19 and they messed my order up it was supposed to be two separate orders they put it all together so he goes in and they gave him a problem to where I was sitting in car for 45 mins waitin I have a leg brace and couldnt go in but I couldnt so he comes out mad they told him he order two happy meals and he to pay for it which we didnt order not one happy meals there was no kids in the so my food that I originally ordered was cold my double quarter pounder was cold and tasted like it was made hrs ago the box was even soggy like the worst experience ever hate that McDonalds
Have to say its gotten alot better, use to visit this location in the past only to stand around and wait for service while the rude ghetto staff talked among themselves. Mustve been some house cleaning. Hope it spreads to a couple Albany Im location. Keep up the good work
Why stop serving certain things at 11 if your open 24 hours? Was there 7 minutes after 11 and was told I could not get a McDouble or a mcflurry? I noticed all the machines were still on and how hard is it to make a mcdouble if your still making most of the other burgers?

Customer service is always poor ๐ for me personally and from a delivery perspective. ๐ง This time I was told I couldnt take photos even considering that i was waiting around for my clients order ๐ . Witch is sad because this locations interior atmosphere is beautiful done ๐ฅฐ its way nicer than most McDonalds. Deliveries were not ready and included alot of wait time as usual. So my clients got there food late as well. Maybe one day it will get better ๐.

2022-06-14Decent experience as fast food goes. Wasnt sure if it was because I & some friends came in a little later at night the reason why it took awhile to wait for the food. I did see kindness of the staff to customers tho.The location is convenient off a major road in Troy, but I personally think they need more space for vehicles.

2022-04-12This is why normally I do not get food at this McDonalds. Almost every time I get something here they screw it up. Iโve contacted the corp and the manager and even when corporate contacts them nothing changes. These are the large and medium fries I ordered and how they came. Funny, looks like 2 medium and one in a large.

2022-05-17Stopped in for lunch during a work related training. I chose to dine in. My order came out quickly and was accurate. Was delivered to my table by a staffer who just looked unhappy and made no attempt to engage even minimally. Thats about average for McDonalds customer service in most places. Thanks for the decent food, at the very least!

2022-04-01Wow! What a great McDonalds! This location on the corner of Hoosick & 15th St. has committed to provide cheeseburgers to the less fortunate folks in downtown Troy. Its wonderful to see a large corporation care about its community and give back.. its all due to the leadership. Thanks to Ruben and thanks to his wonderful staff for the preparation.. all the staff are so friendly! Its clear when you have a good boss, it becomes a good place to work and people care about doing a good job. Not only is the service top notch, the restaurant is much cleaner than other McDonalds Ive been to in the area! Keep up the good work!

2022-05-02Staff was very friendly. Placed a mobile order so it was easier for paying. Food was hot and fresh. Sometimes its hard with fast food to get a good meal but this one was well worth it!

2022-08-07I placed an Uber order and it was fairly simple. Two 10 piece nugget meals large, one with a Diet Coke and one with an orange fanta. Also a 20 piece nugget order. Thatโs it. We got no fries, two diet cokes, no dipping sauce and only ten nuggets in the 20 piece box. Honestly? How hard is it to DO YOUR JOB? PUT THE THINGS ON A LIST IN THE BAG? My twins at 5 years old could have done a better job! Iโll never place another order if this is the store itโs coming from.

2022-08-17Went thru drive thru and ordered a crispy chicken sandwich. Had to wait out front for someone to bring it to me. No receipt. The charge on my card was $18.33 for a $5 chicken sandwich. Now Iโm afraid they did something more with my card. Highway robbery.

2022-05-15It was a McDonalds. The White staff was very very friendly. The food was exactly right as we ordered. It didnt take any time at all for it to be ready. We went through the drive-thru and it was very fast.
