I work at Fedex and all the employees are very caring and we care very much about everyone’s package. Unfortunately during COVID we have had a large abundance of orders. I see a lot of these reviews and they seem to be negative. But not only us but the drivers are under a lot of stress. ❤️ so please be understanding. Just think years ago there wasnt even such a thing as a delivery service. You can get things from food too electronics deliver right to your house. So if they are one house off that’s better than having to go all the way to the store.😁
Saturday 3 July 2021 at 1:51pm driver threw package in front of garage on Sherman Drive in Utica. I have him on camera. There is a mail slot as well as a large sign to put packages on the front porch. The US Post Office and UPS are far superior. Bad driver and obviously poor management from FedEx Marcy, NY. facility.
2 Separate packages with same order. One was delivered to correct address. Second one on the same day, same truck, same address, same name, same same same said delivered 2 minutes later. Could not contact a person to talk to. Found it the next day on neighbors porch. Now how exactly does one get that wrong. After reading reviews Im not surprised. Marcy not a very good reputation. I will not order from this company again just because they use fedex and I cannot request a different delivery method.
Stole my mattress. Have been sleeping on the floor for a month, Walmart confirmed the package was “lost” as soon as it got to this facility.I had a hunch that it was stolen the second I read all the reviews here of “customer not available”Sounds like a business they’re running in the back alley.Bet they’re selling everybodies packagesWonder if this can be reviewed by corporate or something
I have a male driver that does the route in my neighborhood, today he had a female helper with him with very short hair. This gentleman always has great service, respectful attitude, and is very accurate. Ensures that my packages never get stolen; very professional. Thank you!!
I’m waiting for package to be delivered 3 days ago and nobody from fedex don’t know where it is,now they telling me it’s at local office and they don’t know why they are holding it,and just to let you know,all customer service representatives are from different countries
Many of the people that work at this hub are hard working and professional. One in particular is arguably the hardest working person I’ve ever known. Unfortunately he doesn’t have our route and the driver who does is extremely lazy. We live at the end of a gravel road that has a dozen or so houses on it which requires one, yes one, extra turn to access. He consistently codes our delivery as “02”, which is defined as “wrong address/house doesn’t exist.” It begs the question, do we live in make believe land? Pretty sure I sleep inside most nights so our house must have walls and a roof. We’ve gone as far as specifying in the delivery instructions, “please don’t code as 02, our house exists.” To add insult to injury, the one time we had a substitute driver, he delivered our package and had no problem finding our “non-existent” home. In this case, one super lazy apple is spoiling the entire bunch.
I now have 3 packages not being delivered. One is from May 26 which was 2 day shipping. There outta be a law!!!. Their site has multiple excuses for not delivering. Tried to logon to their site to contact anyone but it wont let me reset my password. Contacted customer service over the weekend and he assured me all packages would be delivered yesterday. Still not delivered!Will never order from any site that uses Fedex ever again...Fedex is the worst!!! UPS never has a problem.....
Been lied to 3 days in a row. They lost my wifes expensive Christmas gift and dont have the courage to be honest. Its on a truck being delivered today, multiple days in a row when it shows its still sitting at the facility. BE HONEST. Worst thing you can do in customer service is just make things up. I was kind until I got the same line from a 4th different person.
FedEx in Marcy, NY. Aweful delivery experience. If the driver is busy or just does not feel like stopping, they will use customer not available exception and delay the package. We have experienced this twice in December 2019 with this company. Customer service states they cannot contact a driver or track a package, just read what the public can on the tracking website. Asked how this all ends to customer support and I was told, we just have to wait. There is no resolution. Use USPS or UPS instead!!
Probably the worst shipping service there is. My order arrived to this location (10 minutes from me) 3 days ago and their truck drove by my house (on a dead end street) at least 2 times that I saw with my eyes in the last 2 days and still have not received it. Still shows out for delivery. Avoid shipping with them and ask sellers not to use them. Mismanagement at its finest.
Very upset. My sons birthday was today. They told me the package would be dropped 2 days ago didnt come. Called said would be here yesterday didnt come. Called them again. They said it would be here today for his bday. No signature required due to covid19, so they would leave pkg regardless of being home or not. Ran to the store, they left a tag stating signature needed. Called again. Now saying wil be here tomorrow by END OF DAY. He goes with grandma at noon for the weekend. Poor 5yr old boy has been waiting and waiting for his big bday present and I had to watch him be upset because they guaranteed me it would be here today no matter what. When someone misses a delivery because of false info they should prioritize those deliveries for the next morning or mid day rather than 7-8 at night. If it doesnt get here before he leaves tomorrow I will never use fedex again. This is insane. I understand things are delayed right now, but dont mislead people and guarantee them something if you dont know.
Got an email after I came inside stating my package was delivered at 2:40 this afternoon it was not I was home there is no truck no one came to my front porch And delivered it as that is what the E mail says I was outside shoveling so I obviously what is seen somebody come to my front porch. Nice to know the an animal has to suffer longer because of that Driver that must up.
I am a VERY unhappy customer through fedex. I will never go through them again. They had said my package worth of 450$ in product was delivered on my front porch of my house and it was not there. I called and they started a investigation and still couldn’t find my package. Still to this day 2 weeks later they didn’t find my package. I am infuriated.
Horrible service I would use other means beside Fedex. They lost my package and been stopping my my house 4 days in the row, writing bogus excuses as bar code unable to scan, when I came out they told me they can’t find the package that’s why they wrote unable to scan. Bunch of liars and horrible service. Phone service non existent.
Absolutely horrible worthless most the time and when you try to call somebody for help or support the lie to you and tell you exactly what you want to hear just to get you off the phone they didn’t do anything here we go on attempt number four and still can’t seem to find my house even though I’m sitting right on the porch
My package was on the truck out for delivery today. I was waiting all day at the delivery location only to find out through tracking that the driver, who never showed, entered an exception that the customer was unavailable or business was closed. The business was open and I was there at the time the exception was entered. An unhappy Fed Ex customer!
I expected a package to be delivered on March 9,2020 the driver from fedex ground claims he dropped it off and never did when I kept checking on it basically was told that he did deliver the package to my address was told by one of the customer service representatives that when he checked the driver GPS that he never stopped at my address it is now March 10,2020 and still nothing yup supposedly they are still investigating its pretty great
Package out for delivery and never showed...they say not home or business closed just so thet dont have to deliver...happens more often than not... typical FedEx...wish I could control who carrys my packages when I purchase cause it would not be FedEx...they are the most expensive by far... USPS is the best and quickest shipping

2022-04-23FedEx makes all these claims that they support small businesses and yet my package is sitting 5.3 miles away in Marcy and not being delivered to Home Depot as it should be. Love ordering tools and equipment and watching it sit and sit and sit. You should go from being a delivery company and think about becoming a storage facility. Thanks for ruining my weekend.

2022-04-10I was informed by regular driver that on his days off, such as this past Friday when I was home all day yet the FedEx fill in driver for the route claimed he attempted delivery. That was false. There is a call box to reach tenants so they can allow access for guests and or deliveries. He did not attempt to even gain entry to make the delivery. According to security footage, FedEx was never on the property on the day in question.

2022-05-11They dont care that theyre delivering medicine or even something expensive for people. They ignore delivery instructions and safety issues caused by leaving packages unattended in unsecured areas and refusing to do more that drop sensitive or dangerous medications or other hazardous items on the floor under the unattended unsecured mailboxes in the lobby! They are begging to be sued for damages caused by this behavior.

2022-07-02The drivers always label delivery as undeliverable, nobody home, incorrect address, couldnt access address. So its one less package they have to deliver. Happens all the time. And poor customer service. Cant get ahold of anybody at this location. Unlike UPS has a help desk. Use any courier but fed ex. Nothing but issues.

2022-04-29This place is the biggest joke i’ve ever seen. it’s like working with a team full of kindergartners. they “forgot” to take my package off the truck for several days, had to call a million different places to figure out where on earth they put my package. their service is slower than joe biden.

2022-01-02If theres even a single flake of snow in the air, they delay delivery. Sometimes they dont even have a reason for delays, but they are fairly common. Im sorry FedEx, but UPS is all around better than you are.

2021-07-25Partly due to FedEx tracking website, 800 number, besides driver. First on Saturday the tracking website stated delivery would be Sunday so Sunday morning I checked to verify if it was still scheduled for Sunday but instead showed Monday so I didnt put a note out with my number stating I was home since I live in a secured building. Second at 11am Sunday an attempt was made to deliver the package therefore the tracking info upon the website was inaccurate and wrong. I heard no knock, beep, etc instead I believe whoever the individual was who attempted to deliver the package saw that the building was secure and submitted a failed delivery instead of actually performing their job and attempting to contact anyone so that the package could\/would be delivered. Third after receiving the sms stating failed delivery I immediately called the 800 FedEx number to state I was\/am home that if the driver was\/would of been notified less then 10 minutes had passed that the package could of been delivered still. Fourth instead I was informed by the representative that it would still be delivered Sunday, 5 hours later I called the 800 number again just to verify and was informed Marcy office was now closed therefore I was given false information once again. Fifth in closing FedEx people expect and rely on accurate and proper info therefore pull whatever it is in your rear end and provide such also drivers need to perform what they get paid for and actually try to deliver the package instead of a false tag stating no one home especially when the individual was home.

2020-12-16I didnt receive the package, even though FedEx says it was delivered. On Friday, 12/11 I checked the tracking number and it said the package was at the Marcy NY warehouse, which is 15 miles away from me. I kept checking every day and there was no updates for 6 days until this morning. The update said that package was delivered on December 11th. I was home all day and didnt see or hear it coming. First I called FedEx customer service and explained the situation. They were not able to help. I drove to Marcys warehouse, but they didnt let me inside. The lady at the gate said their system showed delivered on the 11th. I explained the whole situation and asked her to look and see if they maybe still have a package inside. She refused and kept repeating it shows delivered. Then she said she will ask the driver and call me back. Today FedEx driver was delivering a different package and I asked him. He said he didnt see or pick up that package for delivery from the warehouse. Also, FedEx always puts an update when package goes out for delivery, but not on this tracking. It goes from arrival to the warehouse straight to delivered which means they put delivered manually at the office.

2022-01-072000$ computer shipped requiring signature for delivery due value and weather conditions.Package left exposed to elements dropped off without signature.Ill be lodging a formal complaint. I WOULD NOT use FedEx to ship valuables or anything that cant get wet.

2020-10-19My package was delivered at my neighbors house which is a short walk away. She is on a completely different road than I am. If the driver had bothered to look at the address which is on my house and mailbox post he or she would have delivered to the right house. It was pouring rain and the box was soaked, just sitting out on my neighbors porch which has no shelter. I had to carry the large package to my house. Very poor service. I will request UPS or general post office in the future.
