This has to be one of the worst FedEx locations ever. I had packages rerouted to be picked up at the location. They still released my packages which are thousands of dollars after calling fedex prior and speaking to someone who assured me that the packages would be held. It then gets worst the delivery driver puts void where my signature is required due to the cost of the package left it at my door and the packages are now missing.
Don’t bother trying to pick up a door tag here. 15 people all waiting 2hrs, they tell you to come back in a few hours, still nothing. From what it seems, they are only able to find 5% of the packages that are said to be held here. Service people are nice, but package organization is horrendous.
I have ordered a shipment, with FedEx standard overnight. It arrived at FedEx Facility Garden City NY on 12/24/21 at 9:37am and was loaded onto the FedEx vehicle at 11:07am. At 6:11pm, it was scanned back into the Facility and hasn’t shown any results since. Recipient address is a residential house in a residential community. Numerous communications were made to have this shipment scan back onto the FedEx vehicle and to be delivered expeditiously. Today is 12/28/21; and we still have no response. I hope the package will not arrive damaged.
I got a email stating that I didn’t have to wait for my package to be delivered the next business day and I could pick it up after 6:00 pm. I checked the hours before leaving and the hours showed open until 8:30pm. So I decided to take a drive 30 mins and when I arrived they were closed and the hours on the door was until 5:00 pm. I don’t understand how such a big company could not manage to update their hours online. If I don’t have to I would not come back here.
The worst fedex location I have been to. Requested that a package be held, the representative told me to pick it up after 5:30 PM, showed up at 6:30 PM, package was not there. Again told this location to hold the package, came back the next day, package not there. Was told to come back the day after that. The whole thing was ridiculous. Not to mention that there is only one person that takes forever and I waited at least 30 minutes each time. UPS is garden city is so much more efficient and quick. I would not recommend this location.
Horrendous experience with indolent workers over the counter and on the phone! Package was paid for to be delivered on time and wasnt delivered on time. And my wife realized the package was not going to be delivered on time. She called FedEx shipping center to let them know she would go and pick up the package herself. She arrived at the Norcross shipping center in GA at 8:30AM, and waited, waited, and waited for seven long hours and still left the FedEx center without the package, because the so-called professional staff could not locate the package. They didnt even try! I called and asked if I could get a credit, because I paid for services that were not rendered.Well, well, well! Their staff told me “FedEx does not give credit to customers for delayed packages. Let’s say you pay them for a package to be delivered the next business day for $100, and the package got delivered five days later, which would have only cost you $12 or 15. They kept your $100 and put the blame on you as the customer. Their representative said to me that I should have read the FedEx shipping policy before I decided to ship with them. I usually used UPS or the USPS services, since I was at red light and noticed the FedEx sign, and I decided to give them a try. Man, oh man! Was I wrong? Never, never, again!!!
Horrible experience with lazy workers! Package wasnt delivered on time, because business was closed reason. However it is a house and I was home all day. They didnt even try. Next day I called and asked if I can pick this up from the facility. They said yes. BUT when I arrived, the manager said its a back container and its really overwhelming. So they didnt give it to me!! How is it even possible??
Went there on Wednesday evening, very disappointed at the service I received. I showed the staff member who served me the mailing address using my phone, she could not type it correctly; I told her there was a mistake in the address, she was very reluctant to make the change for me. When she finally made the change, she made an awful mistake on spelling “practice”, she spelled “practace”. I asked her to fix it, she let me spell it aloud. I spelled it 3 times until she could get it right. It is ridiculous to be served by a FedEx representative who could not even spell “practice” correctly. Also, there was a change on my address, When I asked her to type my address, which was different from the one shown on my ID, she refused to do it at first and told me she could only scan an ID for the information. I had to beg her to change the address for me. I have been to so many post offices and never met a single staff member who can be so lazy and so unfit to the job. I will not use this FedEx store for any services in the future.
I went to drop off a packages 12/04 and there was an extremely long line. I waited in line with every one else. Just to find out that they don’t accept Apple Pay. That’s not the major issue, the major issue was/ is, that there was only one associate i could’ve asked for information and saved 30-45 mins of my life.
Worst experience ever. My samsung order they didnt wait for even a minute after ringing the bell and left a door tag. When went there to collect the parcel, it was hell of an experience. The lady was there was so rude and irresponsible. There are even shoe marks on my phone package. Heart breaking!!!Shame for whole FedEx community. They should take some serious corrective measures if they really care for their customers.
I come here pretty often to drop off FedEx packages to be delivered and the staff a very kind and helpful. On occasion there is a wait and last week I was not attending to right away which is why I didn’t give them a five star rating. He was probably a one time fluke but for the most part they’re very quick friendly and attentive.
Door tag said pick up after 1030. I get here at 1230 and the rude worker says come back after 1 cause itll be available only then. I come back after 1 and the new rude uninterested lady says oh we cant do this after 1 it would have had to be before 12. What a joke this place is
Went there to pickup a package that was delayed due to weather conditions. I got there, and they did not know exactly where my package was. That was fine, I understand that stuff happens but the lady that came out and said it was in a unsorted bin, just left after saying that. I stood there waiting like an ass for 40 minutes before the guy behind the counter realized that nobody was getting my stuff and he had helped everyone else and then went looking for my stuff. He came back within minutes of that. The problem is that there is absolutely no team work there and they do not communicate with each other. There is tension there and you can tell that nobody else wants to do anything and its only the person working the computer that has to do everything. There was a line and the other employees just casually walked around like they were at a picnic.To the guy that helped me, thank you. Please get out of that toxic environment ASAP. You deserve better. This all sounds like poor management implementing policies that hinder others from helping the person upfront.
My package is supposed to be a 2Day delivery from 6/16/21 and it’s now 6/21/21 and I still haven’t received my packages it’s saying pending .... it has been on the truck and out for delivery then back to local facility... it’s literally 24mins from my house why was it not delivered if it was on the truck from 12:40pm????
Visited at 7:40pm on a Friday to pickup delivery. The lady was very helpful about my questions and getting me to understand the procedures; she was especially attentive, being polite and informative. Felt I had to report about the positive experience & glad it helped speed up pickup of my new phone!
It was a little slow but I understood they have a small place and not many employees. After I patiently wait my turn, I was call but the agent wasnt taking care of me, they will still taking care of the previous customer, something you dont do. And I work in Customer Service for more than 10 years.I got a little upset because the employee next to the one who call me, call next and I was, seriously? Im waiting here.. when I was about to leave, the employee who call next asked me to wait a minute that he will take care of me. I did, and I cant complain because he knows what is the meaning of customer service.He said he was the boss of the location. He is tall, glasses, beard very patient and if Im not mistaken hes name was Eduardo, not 100% but I will say he knows what is Customer Service.Again, if you go, go around 4-5pm during the week day and have patience. Kudos to him and I will go back to this location.
This location should change name from Fedex to Slowex or Lazynex. Another scheduled delivery and once again delay - at 9:23 am package on vehicle (1,5 miles from me; delivery for Express shipping till 10:30 am) but at 3:15 pm package still not delivered (and FedEx help line didnt know where package is).In location understaffed and extremely slow. AvoidIf they will promised to call you in next 10-15 minutes you can expect call in next... few hours or in next day. Of course during call theyll promise you to solve problem ASAP but after phone call nothing will happened. One of the solution mostly recommended by them is you can come to FedEx location after 8 pm to pick up your package (if I want to go and bring ordered item Ill not paying for Express shipping which means express delivery... to my doors not to FedEx location). FedEx in Garden City is the one of worst FedEx location. Beware.EDITED:Google should allow companies to be rated negative (asterisks with a minus sign). Saturday around 11 AM - at this point, FedEx is ONE woman at the service desk and a dozen people are waiting outside in the cold. This lady has a slower handling speed than a snail. ZERO of any kind of willingness to help a client from this lady. FedEx management should very much consider thorough personnel changes in this location, starting with the dismissal of the manager and a few drivers who never come to the given address but in the system indicate that the allegedly customer was not there.
Wonderful workers who really care about you and your needs. We had a package that needed to be signed for sent back to this location. The workers spent the Friday before Christmas after hours to ensure that each persons package was accounted for in time for the holiday. I cant thank you enough!
Easily the worst service I have ever encountered had a package that was supposed to arrive they never attempted to deliver I called the facility and they said to come pick up the package. I got to the location and the package was locked in a container. I spent 45 minutes driving and was given misinformation. If I ever can avoid it I will not be using fedex again.
This FedEx is flat out not doing their job. For a second time in the past few months they failed to deliver a package and returned it fo the shipper after one attempt. They said that the shipper had a request to be returned after the first attempt but found out that it was false. They left a note stating that they would make another attempt the following day but never did. They had a status on their site that it would be delivered the following day but the morning of they changed it to being returned to sender. The truth is they did not want to deliver and now are making money three times from the same customer (Samsung). Super unprofessional!
This is one of the best customer service places I’ve ever to. Danielle helped me out, very courteous and friendly. Under her name said “on training” but she knew everything and answered all of my questions. It was my first time returning cable equipment and she took care of it all. Ty so much
Most incompetent delivery service ive ever experienced in my life. I ordered a packed end of March and STILL havent received it. Fedex lost my package after the first delivery attempt. Had the company re-send another. FedEx continues to try to deliver a package to my house during working hours when no one is home. Told me I can sign a doortab, I signed and put it back on my door only for a different driver to say its not acceptable. Today would be the third attempt but instead of an attempt, all of a sudden FedEx marks the package as incorrect address, despite going to the right address two consecutive days prior. I call them to have them hold my package at the station and they say no problem. Then i get a notification saying that they are sending the package back to shipper. I call again, and they say I have to contact shipper. THE WORST experience I ever had to deal with. This level of incompetence is impressive.
Place Is Terrible The White Lady At The Counter Is Rude And Lazy Wouldn’t give me my package after I showed her that I payed for it and showed the tracking number and did the same to everyone place needs to close down or a new worker also was standing in line for a very long time
The person who assisted me didnt give me my receipt. I paid 40 dollars in cash and another 17 dollars thru my credit card. I was wondering why and he whispered, I just gave you a discount. That was a .20 lbs document I was sending to Asia. I left. Still puzzled. By the way he gave me a tracking paper. I looked at it, and there was no price indicated. Hmmm.
They kept coming to my house leaving notes that i wasnt home to sign for a packet when my package did not need signature. i asked for a request to come back to my house and just leave it at the steps but the driver “ didnt get the request “ now they’re saying my package but be sent back to the shipper and now im gonna lose my package and my money , i hate fedex !
Terrible service the guy did not knock. I know this to be the case because I have a hound dog whose bark can be heard for 1/2 a mile and I was waiting for this package. I arrived at the location to find it over crowded and under staffed. After 15 min I had to leave. Still no package. No wonder most packages I receive ship via UPS or USPS. I wish I had three hands so I could give this place 3 thumbs down 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻.
Terrible service. We came here on Friday afternoon. We asked for a 3 day shipping and the guy told us the package will arrive on MONDAY and cost 40+ dollars. Are you treating your customer like a fool? Fedex does not ship on weekends so arriving on Monday is like same day shipping. The guy was also very rude. Told us if you think the price is high you can go to usps. The service was really terrible. DONT COME HERE
Extremely rude customer service. I’ve never dealt with people who give you wrong information and then don’t take the blame or apologize. I understand it’s the holidays and places are backed up. However, I was told 3 different stories from 3 different people. Then when I told “ROSEANNE” (fedex garden city) I would come to fedex to pick up my package, it magically reappeared. I told her I spoke to someone in headquarters and they already located my package. She told me, she has worked there for 31 years and she knows better than me. Very rude. Kept talking over me. Then people wonder why amazon is taking over. They work all the time even deliever on Sunday. Furthermore, my tracking info was never updated in the system, somehow this wa any fault as well. Clearly there is major disorganization at this warehouse.
TERRIBLE. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DELIVER A PACKAGE PRIORITY TODAY AND HAVE NO IDEA WHERE IT IS. CONCERT TICKETS FOR TONIGHT IN THE PACKAGE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HAD THE NERVE TO SAY ITS WEATHER RELATED, WHEN IT WENT FROM MANHATTAN TO Long Island AND ITS PERFECTLY SUNNY!!!!!
This is one of the worst FedEx locations I’ve had to deal with. I refuse to have anything shipped through FedEx to avoid dealing with this locations disgustingly rude staff. Refusal of leaving a package that does not require delivery. I’ve caught several delivery drivers throwing packets on my property along with others, and items never being delivered.

2022-05-23Had one girl working by herself at 6:00pm with a huge line all the way out to the parking lot. We drove 30 minutes to get our package because the drivers can’t be bothered to ring the doorbell. The counter person said it has no location scan and she can’t get it. We go outside and call the FedEx 800 number and they tell us the location where it is scanned ???? We went back in and gave her the location then she said it’s not a location number. We called the 800 number again, for the seventh time in three days, and they had to call this office to tell them where the package is and to get it for us. After several minutes the rep on the phone just hung up on us. The girl then lied about the manager not being there until he suddenly walked through the door from the back. Why he was making no effort to help the backlog of customers is a mystery to me. He ultimately said he couldn’t do anything but tell the drivers to actually ring the doorbell when they come back. I guess FedEx has started taking pages out of the UPS book for organization and work ethic. I swear I get better service at the US Post Office than we had here. Absolutely horrible and it’s clear the company and local management doesn’t care based on all the other reviews on here. Sad to see yet another formerly venerable US company falling apart due to apathy, incompetence, and laziness.

2022-07-05Idk why I bother reviewing after seeing the long list of one-stars and nothing being done about it. Anyway, tracking said I could come here to pick up after 6pm. Its about 7:45 (the time they close) and the rep said the driver isnt back yet........Not surprised every time I use this service it never goes well.

2022-07-08I unfortunately know why the recent reviews are so poor. Not sure what the issue is with opening on time, it’s now 10 minutes passed the opening time. For an international business dealing with packages needed for business and personal you’d think you can open on time. I’m sure the line of people would be less if you did. Don’t even need to leave a review on the actual service because it didn’t even happen.

2022-04-14My clearly valid address was deemed incorrect - had to go back and forth between FedEx and the shipper in order to try to get this redelivered today. Now a FedEx truck comes to make deliveries on my block and skips my house. They need to review their practices/drivers here.

2022-05-11Called ahead to schedule a package pick up and my package was not picked up. I even called to confirm that my time sensitive package was going to be picked up and it still was not picked up. From dispatch, the drivers, to costumer service reps on the phone no one did their jobs. Horrible service

2022-04-13Pick a different place. Delivered a package on April 7th for 2 day shipping and guess what it’s still there - April 13. Ruined my trade show in California. There will be consequences!!! The only thing that ruins good companies are bad people.

2022-07-13Drivers never follow fedex delivery manager instructions. customer service wont give phone number for local distribution center to file a complaint with a manager. filing complaints through the toll free number is useless.

2022-01-05Lost my package, sent me to two different ship centers in two different towns guaranteeing my package was accidentally at those instead. Package is at neither location. I have now been given 5 separate ship centers to check for my package, none have it. I had to drive to them, taking time out of my work day, because I was ASSURED it was at this one.. no, that one.. no wait, the other one... Customer support via phone is a joke. Still no update on where it is other than well send you a notification at this point .... Worst of all, my delivery manager is set to no signature required and I would have been home to sign for it anyway except the 1pm delivery came at 2pm, and then for some reason they ignored the no signature required. FedEx has not a single iota what its doing – the lady at one location said FedEx lost most of their veteran drivers and hired a bunch of new hires that dont know the ropes, then proceeded to show me all the packages she SHOULD have on site as per her system, and then showed me how many they ACTUALLY have in their locker. Not even half of whats on the list. So where do peoples packages go when they choose FedEx? Will gladly pay double for shipping if it means not using FedEx in the future.

2022-01-29This is a well-run FedEx operation. The staff is efficient and courteous. Rarely have I had to wait longer than ten minutes. Parking is ample, close by, and handicapped-accessible. If you want it there tomorrow, FedEx delivers on time and securely.
