We proudly ship many packages with this FedEx location for business. This FedEx facility is very valuable with a courteous staff. I have been there many times so dont buy negative feedback from the one-off visitor trying to pick up an Amazon purchase. Unfortunately most people cant appreciate the service, not even under the 2020 circumstances. We could not operate without them, especially in a pinch situation. Great job! A+
Recently Expected Package that contained personal information.. Diligently checked the tracking information. Noticed that it indicated “unable to deliver - address correction”. I contacted FedEx (trying to get an actual human being on the phone was one of the most frustrating and upsetting experiences - the computer tries to “think” for you, goes completely off-topic, then you struggle to be able to get through to a customer service representative).After several attempts, I was able to reach an “outsourced“ customer service representative. Most were incredibly rude. After learning that FedEx took the liberty of assigning a completely WRONG address to my name/package, I requested a stop delivery. I then contacted the shipper who also requested a stop delivery.I tracked the package again for the next 2 days and it still indicated that it was on it’s way to the WRONG address, DESPITE NUMEROUS CALLS to FedEx to stop this package (I made at least 6–7 phone calls to FedEx).This morning I decided to check, yet again, to make sure this package would not be delivered and returned to sender. Lo and behold! The package was “on a truck and out for delivery“!AGAIN, I contacted FedEx, literally in tears (It took me at least 4 attempts (being hung up on by the computer, before I reached an actual human being). I asked her if I could speak with a supervisor about a delivery that has now become a terribly upsetting situation; I was transferred to an “escalation department“ representative (another “outsourced” individual). I explained in quick detail and asked her to please stop the package; after a brief waiting period, she returned and told me that she spoke to a specific individual at the specific location where the package was due to be delivered from and he assured her that the package would not be delivered, but rather returned to the sender. I can only hope.SUMMARY: The fact that you can’t get through to a human being without calling a half-dozen times is astonishing! You are held hostage by a computer that attempts to “think” for you and will cut you short or abruptly end the call if “it“ can’t figure out how to direct your call, despite “customer service“ being repeated several times.Their “customer service representatives” (outsourced individuals who have access to very sensitive personal identification information) are extremely rude and totally lacking in customer service etiquette. I’m shocked that FedEx has sunk so low in their overall service to paying customers. FedEx has made it painfully obvious that they do not care about their customer base.They outsource services to strangers they cannot possibly adequately monitor (allowing them full access to your personal identification information), and the fact that you cannot contact a local FedEx office and are forced to go through the nightmare of dealing with the computer, simply shows a customer that FedEx doesn’t give a hoot (I’m being extremely kind here because of the posting guidelines).Do yourselves a favor… Do not use this horrible company, with its horrible customer service representatives, and it’s overall horrible way of doing business. Save yourself a lot of stress and anxiety and use another carrier.**I note that when the shipper re-sent my package, they used UPS and it was here within one day with absolutely no problems. And, I was actually able to contact a local office about delivery. That’s customer service. That’s the very least a customer would expect. Shame on you FedEx!!
Ive been home all day with my door open to make sure driver knows I am home when I get a text that delivery was attempted. I have been up since 7am waiting and know that the driver never showed. Called fedex to complain only to be told that delivery will be attempted for a 3rd time next day.. How can that be when there wasnt a 2nd attempt? Cant contact the shipping center to reach out to the driver because it goes straight to main #. I have a camera (no one came) and theres no new shipping tag on the door but he/she could just scan one as if one did leave it. Now another day stuck home waiting because the driver lied!
Horrible experience. A tag was left on my door, telling me to pick up the package and that they would not attempt to redeliver. (Why not???) Then, I went to this facility during their business hours when the tag told me to, and they were closed! Folks were inside but they would not open the doors for me and a few others outside -- even for an explanation. Even just a, Sorry, we closed early, wed love to help but we cant! would have been great! Will never use FedEx again as long as I can help it. The USPS is MUCH, MUCH better. At least with them you pay for what you get. With FedEx, it seems, you pay for what you dont get! Now it looks like theyll be returning my package to the sender in Italy, after having made no real attempt to get it to me, and actually preventing me from getting it. Thanks a lot.
My jaw is on the floor. I had no idea support by phone could be so bad. Why even have phone support (off-shore and borderline unintelligible, to save a buck) if they aren’t empowered to take any action? UPS is far far superior, and can even report truck position. I will never choose FedEx willfully for the rest of my life.
Paid $80 for Saturday morning delivery no signature required. FedEx delivered a non-delivery notice, so I had to drive forty miles to retrieve my package, and didnt get it until late afternoon. That made the difference between a repair getting made Saturday versus Tuesday morning after labor day. DELIVER THE PACKAGE. thats the whole fing point.
Very rude and unhelpful customer service agent. Try to avoid this particular agent if you can. I utilize that shipping centrr on a fairly regular basis and she always has a scowl on her face and does not have a friendly helpful attitude toward the customers. Shes Black 30 to 40 in age and about 5/6 in heights. Theres a second Black female who works at the customer service desk there and shes perfectly helpful and has a nice professional attitude. The ride unprofessional one is the younger of the two.
Worst service ever! Ordered perishable items overnight and did not receive for 5 days and they were spoiled. Then ordered a replacement...it was out for delivery. I called 3 times to ensure it would be delivered...it was brought back to the station and my tracking was not updated until it was too late to pick up myself. Customer service cannot help at all and the managers will not return your calls or give you an update.
This is the only review you need to read. I ordered a $1400 product that required a signature. 1st attempt was made late morning Thursday. I work during the day like most people so I got notice. I created a FedEx account, to access delivery options as noted on the notice, only to learn there were no delivery options. 2nd attempt Friday morning. I called FedEx in the afternoon and was told the driver will make another attempt same day, between 5 pm and 8 pm. Left work early, to make sure I was home. No driver showed. The next day, Saturday, learned driver made an attempt (no notice left) at 9:15pm, when I was sleeping. Called FedEx and automated phone message said another attempt to be made Saturday before pm 8 pm. Also spoke with a live person who said delivery will be no later than 2:30 pm. Waited around all day and no delivery. Called FedEx after 8 pm and told theres no deliveries on Saturday and that 3 attempts made so there will be no more attempts made. I pleaded and complained about what had happened to me, was just told there will be no more attempts, no exceptions. So thats it, the product is now going back to the company. From now on, Im not doing business with anyone who uses FedEx.
It is okay. Sometimes when I come to have something shipped out there is no staff person out front. One time I stood in there for 15 minutes before someone came out from the back to help the people who were waiting. There should be some bell or alert to let them know when someone entered if they need to bf in the back doing other things as well.
My brother was trying to send a package to me. My address is in Saipan, MP 96950. This is not the first time we sent tru Fedex and in this facility. While I was talking to a female employee over the phone, she kept insisting that it was international. She kept asking me what is my country. Saipan is a US Territory therefore its part of the United States, I replied. She was very very, rude. She made no attempts to help my brother, other than arguing about where is Saipan. She just l lets him leave. My brother waited for an hour in line. I dont understand why she cant see it on their computer. She works for a courier at least, know the places, especially U. S. Terrories. It is embarrassing not to know your own countrys borders yet you work to send packages!
Worse customer service ever. It is all about THEIR process, not customers. Neither senders nor receivers have influence on it. As a customer - package receiver - you pay extra for on time delivery, then you MUST be present - even if the window is not defined, then a driver miss you anyway: just not knocking the door when you are in. Then sender has to initiate the repeating delivery attempt - again using THEIR schedule, not yours.No communication with local office, customer service from India just follows the process.So be ready to pick your order after 6pm from their office.
I have always been very pleased with the track record of the Newburgh 17k FedEx Ship Center and FedEx in general in terms of competence and reliability and based on those considerations alone would give it a high rating. I am giving it a one star rating based on the fact that the last two times I have gone there (the most recent being 2/20/21) the FedEx counter person has worn their mask below their nose not covering their nostrils at all and interacting with customers at arms length, much less than 6 feet away. Orange County NY is currently (2/20/21) designated extremely high risk by NYT Covid-19 Tracker. Totally unacceptable in my view.
The driver from this sorting facility delivered my couch to the wrong address. For 6 hours no one was reachable in this sorting facility. They wound up having to do a trace claim on the package and I was told the delivery driver had 48 hours to produce the package or respond to the claim. During this time Ive been spoken to like I was a criminal and a liar, at times like I was stupid and just overlooking a 150lb. giant box,and there has been no resolution. The manager from this facility was supposed to call me and explain the process and assist me in recovering my package and that never happened. When I called the manager at 1-800-go-fedex she got extremely nasty with me for wasting her time instead of waiting another 5 hours to get a call back. No one has called me back yet. So I missed an entire day of work to wait on a package that was left who knows where and Im out almost $1,000 for the couch. And the company says theres nothing they can do for me until the driver responds and someone will call me Tuesday. Its Saturday! This whole company is a joke. Avoid shipping with them the best you can.
I ordered a package express shipping, and it shouldve arrived two days ago. I wasnt home yesterday, and the driver left a note on my door instead of leaving the package. It was just a bikini for my vacation that Im going on today, I dont know why I need to sign for it. I was assured by a representative that it would get here before 4 PM when Im leaving, and when I called today they werent sure when it was going to get here or where it was.
I ordered a Replacement phone Through T-Mobile and was told it’s overnight shipping since I paid early morning and before 8pm that day, so I paid for overnight shipping. The phone went from PA to TN all On Friday night, ends up in Newburgh at 7AM SATURDAY just To not get out for delivery Sunday either!!! And it says fedex delivers on Sunday! I paid for extra shipping and overnight bc my daughter is in a trauma center and now I am up early Monday praying it comes ! I just don’t understand why a package is sitting almost 72 hrs now with no movement... and if they wouldn’t have sent it to TENNESSEE for Absolutely no reason ... It probably would have been here on time if they sent it straight from York PA to Newburgh NY how they were supposed to!
Worst service ever, first they says they can’t know when will it arrive 2 h. later I called again they said driver is delivering to 2 houses in the area and I’m next, 4 hours later called back cust.rep. said no one even attempted delivery for the day. Disgusting service. Waited all day as I had to leave area, this put me back one day late for my business. Terrible
I dont see what everyone is complaining about. Because of my new job, I go to this ship center regularly, twice a week on the weekends. And theyve been nothing but courteous to me. The place is a bit dingy, the automatic doors in the front didnt work for sometime and you had to slide them open (they work now). Some of the credit card machines dont work and the lights are dim... But the people are nice if youre nice to them.
They always find a reason to not deliver my package. Ive had problems with them over a dozen times leaving missed deliverynotices instead of driving up to my house to deliver the package. Today I actually saw the FedEx guy stop at my driveway and then drive off. I checked the status of my package and it says delivery is delayed for incorrect address !!. I saw them, so how can they says the address was wrong, I know they were at my address. Lazy guys dont feel like driving up my driveway
I was expecting a package and needed a signature. The delivery notification came with a predelivery sheet to print out and sign which I did authorizing the delivery. The delivery guy still did not drop the package which makes no sense. I even communicated with the delivery guy via my ring to drop it and to pick the authorization note I had left on the door, he declined..:.::::very very annoying.
FedEx ship center was very good. Ill will continue to use and recommend FedEx to all my friends and contacts. The FedEx employee was very professional and knowledgeable. A very pleasant experience to have a well trained professional representing you bussiness. Thank you.
What a horrible freaking delivery service. I left an indirect signature form on my door and the useless driver still did not leave it. I contacted the inept customer service rep who told me that a signature was required. I told him it was listed as indirect. He still had no clue what I was talking about. I have yet to get a resolution. This should not be this difficult. Fed Ex is HORRIBLE.
This location is the worst in the nation. Had issues a few years ago and nothing has changed. Paid for two day shipping, Im expected to sit for a 12 hour period at which anytime they may show up! Waited 5 hrs, had to step out, left a note on the door Id be right back, they come, leave and never come back. If they can come anytime within 12 hrs why cant they return within 12 hrs???. Thats a Friday. On Monday the next delivery date Im away so I pay extra for a garanteed 5-8 PM delivery, return early from being away and they dont show at all. Start making calls, 3 of the after being switched on everyone Im told they get it to me by 10:30 the next day. Next day, 8AM its still sitting in terminal, no one answers the phone at terminal(per their call center staff). 10:40, not getting it by 10:30, call again, to cancel Ill get it myself, its out youll get it by 12, well see. I want a refund of the extra fees , I HAVE TO WAIT 5-7 DAYS AFTER DELIVERY BEFORE I CAN REQUEST ONE, WTH???????? UPS comes close to the same time daily( plan around it) they come back or pass it to the night pickup driver. Guess whos getting my business.
Enjoys placing $900 packages in plain view of a busy street. Great job guys.Weeks earlier my clear glass front door was open so I could meet the driver and refuse a package. I sat there at my laptop all day watching. Next thing I know I got a text saying it was delivered. The guy just placed packages to the side of the door and ran. I know they have to reach a quota but at least pay attention when the door is WIDE OPEN.
The staff are very friendly and theres usually not much of a wait so it goes by pretty quickly. Its not as quick as UPS stores are or a FedEx store but it is still a valuable service until Newburgh / New Windsor acquire an actual FedEx store where you can sit on computers and copy your stuff and have your stuff sent and printed and pick up and ship stuff. The shipping stuff at a FedEx store is super quick and beats this FedEx location.
Awful service all around. They attempted to drop off a package on Thursday and instead of leaving it left the door tag to sign. So far so good. I sign the door tag leave it on the door and expect to get the package when I get home from work. The Fedex driver took the signature and decided not to leave the package. Annoying but not even the worst part. I call to see if they can get the package here later in the day. I am promised a call back from the Newburgh office...... no phone call and of course no package.Saturday morning comes around and I call their customer service line to find out what is going on. When I ask for a manager the customer service rep hangs up on me?!?!?!?!?!?!Seriously bad service.
Tracking says they tried to deliver, and then left a door tag. There were 5 people in my tiny apartment. no one heard a single knock, no one saw a Fedex truck, and there was no door tag. Now I have to drive 45 mins out of the way for an overnight package. Thanks FedEx. You lost what seems like yet another customer.
Zero star for Fedex. Im in the New Paltz, New York area. This Fedex driver is now inserting small packages inside our USPS mail box which they are not supposed to do, instead of driving to my house. Today tracking showed that my furniture from Wayfair had been delivered -----but is NOT here!!! This isnt the first time the driver stated delivered and the item was not delivered. A few weeks ago my neighbor drove over to my house to drop off a package that Fedex driver marked as delivered. Yes, it was delivered------but to my neighbors house. I will report this to Wayfair so they stop using Fedex to ship their items.
Words cannot describe how ridiculous it is that I have to even rate this second-rate company as 1 star.My story starts Wednesday morning when an OVERNIGHT package was sent to FedEx. This package never made it any further than the initial hub that next day. No excuses from FedEx as to why this was not delivered to my door. Friday was New Years, but still, the package was flown to the Newburgh center and it was there Friday at 4AM. I called first thing Saturday morning and was assured the package was not ready yet and there would not be a truck on its way to me that day either, now 2 days late from the GUARANTEED delivery date. I requested a hold be put on the package and I would drive down to Newburgh myself to pick it up. It had been there since 4AM the previous day. What could possibly go wrong where it not be available for me to pick it up? FedEx found a way! Turns out, receiving it in Newburgh is only the first step in the process. Its held at the unloading bay at the airport next door and then from there it is eventually transferred to the Newburgh sorting facility where it would be available. This never happened until 7:30AM on MONDAY! So, I called them Saturday afternoon when it was evident that I could no longer pick up my package at the center and cancelled my hold request. A message was sent to the idiots in Newburgh to put it on a truck Monday morning. This did not happen. Every time I call FedEx, I keep getting told my package is on hold and is available to pick up. Every time I tell them to check their records, they confirm the cancel is on record but just did not get fulfilled. Mind you, I STILL dont have my package. I MIGHT get it tomorrow, but who knows? Keep in mind, FedEx would probably like to try and blame me for the fact that it is not on a truck today because I requested the hold. The only reason I requested the hold is because they failed to overnight my package as promised and I felt I could do a better job at getting it myself. When the request to hold the package was cancelled and the website was never updated, I knew today was going to be a problem. FedEx did not fail to deliver on that expectation. Maybe they deserve the 1 star for that delivery. They can deliver on broken promises just fine.
This facility must have the worse delivery drivers on earth, after reading the reviews and just going through what I went through, I highly recommend no one in the delivering vecinity if this poorly ran, pathetic excuse of a company use it for their shipping purposes. Literally ruined one of the biggest days of my life due to people who simply cant do their job. They couldnt find my address yet I get mail here every day. Fed ex needs to really step their game up on the useless bodies they call employees, the customer service was absolutely unhelpful, nothing about this experience or this company is good. Someone close this dump down and build a ups or something somewhat better.
Delivery guy rolled package up my driveway hitting a vehicle parked causing damage to the vehicle and item being delivered.... Called customer service to file complaint and got no where... Delivery guy never come to the door for signature or notification of delivery.... Note witch customer service says they have. Home security system cought the entire Incident. Shippers beware highly highly recommend putting insurance on anything being shipped... Due to POOR WORK ETHIC AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY!!!!!!!
I orderer a new glass window to replace the broken one in my wood stove door because the company that made the stove states that the stove should not be operated if the glass is broken or cracked. I waited and waited for the delivery hoping that it would arrive by Thanksgiving. Finally, I looked online for the status of my delivery and discovered that Fed Ex said it was delivered and was left at the back door. There is no back door at this house. I called Fed Ex and they suggested I call the company I bought the item from because they hired Fed Ex to deliver my package. The company said that I would have to file a claim saying that I did not receive my package. After many calls navigating robo menues and numerous transfers from one person on the phone to the other and waiting for a result from my claim, Fed Ex denied my claim and the woman with an extremely bad attitude said that the package was delivered and they take no responsibility for it being lost. I live at the end of a dead end road and dont believe anyone would steal a piece of glass. So,I am out $128. #Sad.This is a follow up to my previous review:Jan. 7, 2018Today at about 2:30 pm, a neighbor that lives down the road, who I have never met, knocked on my door and handed me a box that was delivered to his home by mistake. The box has my address on two labels and was obviously left out in the rain and snow for almost two months. This box contains the glass for my stove that I ordered on November 12th, 2017. Fed Ex said that their driver came back to my home to make sure that he delivered my package to the correct address. Well, obviously he did not deliver the box to my home and I had to pay $128.00 for their mistake. Considering the attitude I experienced when I called Fed Ex, I do not expect an apology.
The driver said the package was delivered to my front door, not true. I was home all day and my camera system shows no delivery. Second time driver did not deliver. Management does nothing. The address was clearly marked, and a fedx sign was added. driver dosent have a windshield ? UPS delivers flawlessly.
No customer service number, terrible communication! Couldnt get a hold of someone who could help. Not to mention the tracking info on the website updates very late! I requested a timeframe of 3:00 - 5:00 for my package to be delivered yet its past the timeframe, and they charge you for it and cant fulfill it. UPS is better by a long shot, hell even your local post office can do a better job.
They took 3 days to deliver an overnight shipment. According to the tracking info my package was on the truck for 36 hours. It was supposed to be delivered by 8pm. They then guaranteed by 12 pm the next day.. it never came.. then they said I had to wait until the following day. I would give less than 0 stars if I could
I have been waiting on FedEx to correct a problem from yesterday. It says that my package is on the truck and will be delivered by the end of business today. It is now 7:40pm, and no delivery. I wish FedEx had a local phone number to contact instead of just one 800 number
I am so angry!!When I originally shipped my package, I updated my APARTMENT NUMBER, as it was not included and I had a funny feeling it would be an issue. Pick up was no problem.But when I was expecting my return package, I checked the status via the tracking number and it said Shipment exception-Cannot locate recipient!It was then I knew that they didnt friggin update my address for the return package!! I called the FED EX in Newburgh and was told I would have to wait until TOMORROW for my package!I literally called them 15 minutes after the status was updated, and Im sure the driver was still in the neighborhood, as I only live 30 minutes from Newburgh!!These people suck a**!
So since I cant get anyone human to help me, I guess Ill just wait for my shipment ALL DAY. My shipment will arrive sometime today between it being put on a truck at 7:30 A.M. and it will arrive by 4:30 P.M. Totally USELESS, Thank you FedEx for wasting my entire day, oh and why bother with text messages that say over and over that my package will arrive sometime today. Thanks for the Pony Express level of notification.
Terrible company. Came to my office, waited in my parking lot for a few minutes, then pulled away without getting out of truck to deliver package and stated I was not in my office. FedEx website updates stating we were not in the offic that day. Corporate was just as useless to help redeliver package at a different location the following day since it was a weekend. Never using them again! UPS here we come.
My package was suppose to come between 9-5pm. I waited in all day and no package. I left house with kids to get something to eat at 7:30pm and left note signed to leave package at door. Fedex, came at 7:35pm and left label on door, taking package with them. I called and told them I took off work for this package so they promised to deliver the next day after 5:30pm, this time they came at 5pm with another sticky note and no tracking number. I called and was on phone for 45 minutes with first idiot then was disconnected, 24 minutes next person, then 30 minutes for next person. I demanded a supervisor, but they told me he was busy. I told them I would drive to Newburgh station to get it, they told me that driver would not be there until 8:30pm, I said Ok, I would wait from him, They then said, Oh, we dont know exactly what time he will be here or whether or not he will have time to get package. Worst service of any carrier there is. I had no choice for this one, option for overnight was only Fedex and I got screwed big time plus loss a days pay.
This was the worst experience I have ever had with shipping a package and customer service. This was a Christmas present that was ordered on line and rush ship was selected to ensure it was received before Christmas. It was tracked by email to the FedEx Ship center in Newburgh NY and a few days before Christmas it was received at the ship center. At that point is was lost within the Center, was not delivered and no notifications were sent even after we used their customer service (automation system), the package was never received. I drove down to Ship Center and spent three hours there and in spite of one employees effort to try and find the package it still was not found. The next two days I spent on the phone trying to track the package down, I was lied to by the customer service reps when I ask them to call me back twice before the end of the day with the the progress and I never got called back. Several days later we received a call saying that they did not know where our package was (it was tracked and received to the shipping center) and a case file had been opened up. I will not use FedEx to ship again, terrible customer service and execution of shipping
FedEx Priority overnight is the absolute worst!Ive had TWO Priority Overnight deliveries in the last week that have both been very late!! Both packages had perishable livestock, and FedEx can not be counted on to deliver goods on time. On top of that, the customer service is terrible. When you call in, they dont give you any more information than you get online. They have no ability to contact the driver to request that perishable goods be delivered before non perishable goods.I would not trust FedEx with anything valuable under any circumstances.
My oxygen concentrator was priority overnight They lied said it was on the truck 3 days in a row and now I have to go pick it up after being lied to hung up on just pray your package never goes into the enterprise drive newburgh ny hub if its your oxygen concentrator you will want to go rent one like l did overnight medical equipment and they lied to me and other FedEx reps wow can only hope it happens to someone they know thats needs oxygen
Wouldnt let me have them hold the package even though I knew I was going to most likely miss it. When I called to make sure it was back at the center so I could go pick it up they said yes. Drove 40 minutes to find out the driver is still in my neighborhood and wont be back for hours.
OMG where the hell is my package! It has been driving around in Newburgh for one week! I call and they tell me that my package is on the truck to be delivered. The UPS man came down my driveway, the garbage men came down the driveway, MY CHEVY SPARK came down the driveway, WHY OH WHY CANT FEDEX COME DOWN MY DRIVE WAY????? Customer service told me that I should have called on Tuesday and asked to pick it up myself. REALLY!!! IS THIS HOW WE DELIVER NOW A DAY???? PAY FOR WHAT?????? SERVICE????? and be told to pick it up myself?????
SHIPPING FROM here -- a little slow, but overall good, no problems... Getting packages DELIVERED FROM this hub -- always a problem, delay or outright lies. And if you try and call to get somewhere -- goooooood luck. Id give 3 stars for shipping - and 0 for delivery...
Less than one star. This organizations customer service is by far the worst. Youll get different answers as to where your package is from everyone that you speak with. And as far as feedback, follow-ups, or call backs, forget it. Youre on your own and theyve already been paid. FedEx has disappointed me too many times. I refuse to ever do business with this organization again. Ill invest in their competitors until they no longer exist. Spread the word!!
Terrible service and customer service.They did not deliver something for 10 days (was supposed to be 1-2) and after several days asked me to come in to get the package. I thought they were a delivery service....Customer service read the info that I could read in the track shipment website page. When I told them I had that information because I could read the webpage, they suggested I was not listening and proceeded to read the rest of the page...This was bad enough that I feel like writing this review. I usually dont. They claimed the package had a requirement for signature which was not true - confirmed with sender. When I suggested that this repetition and requirements just meant that this way the package cannot be delivered - because we never know when they pass by and we cannot go there on their schedule - , they snarkly replied Then it will not be delivered.I have had several bad experiences with them in the past, with some occasional great diligent drivers that make the extra mile to be competent and nice. But customer service and overall service has been pretty bad. This is just delivery service - not rocket science.
Wish I did not have to give any stars!!! My package was shipped to me by Two-Day Express. It arrived in Newburgh yesterday. Tracking said it was on a truck to be delivered and never arrived, then went back to Newburgh facility. Customer service promised me it would be delivered today, Christmas Eve, and again no delivery. Now tracking says it will be delivered Tuesday, nearly a week after arriving in NY!! I would choose UPS everytime over FedEx!!! FedEx sucks!!
Im growing sick of FedEx and I wish there were some type of way to choose UPS when i order my things. I payed extra money for next day delivery and instead of getting it on a saturday Im instead getting it on a tuesday. Not sure why i paid the extra money at this point. They didnt deliver saturday because they claim bad weather. Granted it did snow but the roads have been clear the entire day. Im sure their drivers are just lazy and took the opportunity to use it as an excuse to have an easy day. Ive never had any issues with UPS. UPS even delivered during a snow storm in the past. Avoid FedEx whenever possible....
After complaints to the 800 service office I am still getting my packages delivery not at my front door. Never had a problem before but now 4 deliveries have not made it to my front door. My last one was left out in the rain and not on my front porch where it should have been delivered
Terrible service. Driver did not even knock on my door and instead left a tag to let me know I was not there to receive the package. However if they were to simply knock I would have answered the door. This is also the second time this has happened. I ran outside to catch him and yelled out but the driver somehow did not hear or see me. Terrible service FedEx you suck.
I have to say that my issue isnt with this particular shipping center, but with my most recent experience with them as a residential customer (recipient). I have to agree with many other reviewers here that FedExs policies are restrictive and a headache, more so for residential customers than business, whom they tend to work harder for.A ground shipment with a signature requirement was being delivered to me, and they attempted delivery on Saturday, three days early--no complaint about that. But since there wasnt anyone home, they left the notice and indicated they would retry delivery on Tuesday. I knew there would be nobody home that day either, so I called them to ask if the package could be held for pickup, theres a FedEx location less than 5 miles from me. After waiting on hold for 5 minutes, I was told it would be held at the Newburgh facility, which is 40 miles from my home in a direction I never travel. They wouldnt redirect it, or even send it to the Danbury location to be held there, or remove the signature restriction unless the shipper called them to do that. When youre buying something from a large online retailer, good luck with that. UPS makes this kind of thing a no-brainer, and even USPS has more flexibility. Moral of the story: dont use FedEx for residential delivery...
Worst place in the world. The people are snippy and have a horriblr attitutude all the time. I asked a simple question if I could go pickup my package that was to be delicered to my home,from that location instead. And the woman snapoed at me and said no and not till next Tuesday, mind you today is Friday. The bix is sitting there as ler tracking but it wont be ready till Tuesday???? Im go I,g over an hour out of my way for something obviously important to me and have gotten zero help, and if anything I am making their job easier, its one less package to worry about. They absolutly suck. Oh and dont go look I g fir a ohone number, they w/o,t give you ohone numbers except for the call center somewhere in the middle east, india, Istanbul, whatever. All idiots out there. The woman from the local sorting facility even said, and I quote they suck and are worthless so even their employees know how scrappy their own corporation is.
This Fedex location is the worst ever... they lie and mark packages as delivered when they are not... They do this because they are LATE delivering NEXT-DAY FEDEX... When i pay for next day, I want the item on time or my money back!They also deliver packages late and then mark them as deliverd on time by 4:30pm... another lie.I will be calling Fedex and request over 50 credits on packages that did not make it on time.NEWBURGH FEDEX IS THE WORST CENTER I EVER DEALT WITH.
Too bad service. I came too time for a hard drive to Taiwan. First time the lady said her system show it will take 1,000 dollars for this small drive. Then she said she didnt know why. I had to left. I check the rate online and know it should not be more than 100 USD. I went again. The same lady. The same problem. I said I check and that is impossible. She said I should report. Why this is my responsibility? The came another lady and she used the other computer to get it done. It is not a complicated problem but the lady didnt want to do it. very bad experience.
Why a service so F*** awful like Fedex is still surviving in the real world. Is their deliveryman a blind or just arrogant. Since they left my package by my front door, which door is by the side of a busy sidewalk, and my package then ended up taken by someone else, after that, I put a big sign on my window to tell them not to delivery at that door but choose the door on the opposite. However, this notice paper, color, with the big sign of Fedex and a big red forbidden sign, on an A4 paper, turned out to be invisible to Fedex deliverymen. They still left packages at my front door, whatever an inconspicuous small package or several big boxes. They never consider the safety of the packages. They dons care. Thank God, there is another company called UPS, otherwise, the shipping life gonna be much tougher. Even though, sometimes, we still cant ask the senders not to choose the Fedex. Anyway, go to hell, Fedex at Newburgh.
Every time i have to work with a delivery with this place its a MAJOR problem, corporate policy is insane and absurd, it usually ends up that my delivery is 1 or 2 days later than originally scheduled =[ this time my package must sit in their warehouse for 3 days until they will even allow me to try to arrange for me to come and pick it up. so it will likely be 2 days late once again. horrid service !
If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service is horrible here at the counter. Disregard what fedex online services says because they will give you different info. Like telling you a package will cost $170 when online detailed quote is $46, which I layer confirmed with a Fedex phone rep that my $46 price was correct and that she was sorry for the service I was given there. Disappointment #2. Dont try to pick something up there early. They will leave it in a truck across the street in the ground shipping area even though I called and confirmed my package would be available at the customer service center during the weekend.*UPS or USPS for me here in newburgh from now on!
Currently STILL trying to get on the phone with someone. Three days theyve had the package (which is time sensitive) and have not delivered it because of a Local Weather Delay. ITS BEEN SUNNY THE PAST THREE DAYS!!!!!!!!! ARRGGHH I hope the building explodes, these people suck.
I live in a multi unit house in Peekskill and everytime I have a package coming from Fedex I receive a door tag even if I am home. This time our landlords secuity camera caught the driver not knocking on the door and leaving only a door tag. Order from UPS/USPS. It took 4 phone calls to get the package delivered by EOD.
After waiting on line for 20 minutes (because there was only one register open), I was told I couldnt be helped because the location doesnt print labels. NEWS FLASH most people dont have printers in their homes AND being a large FedEx Hub, you should have a printer to help customers. Disgusted.
Horrible slow service . There was one employee who was missing from the desk when I arrived with multiple people waiting. Multiple other employees saw the line forming and us waiting and just walked past the door as they walked 1 mph around in the back. I hope to not have to come back to this location with service like I received
I just had a FedEx experience with a recent attempted delivery I found the general FedEx customer service giving Incorrect and unhelpful information however once I got through to the local Newburgh facility I did find everyone on the phone and at the office polite and helpful there I guess my main complaint with FedEx is that when shipping is being paid for home delivery it should be delivered and one shouldnt need to make multiple phone calls and days of arrangements only to have to pick up the package at the shipping facility I would have given a three but I gave the extra star because the people at the Newburgh facility were consistently nice helpful and tried their best
I have never had any complaints about fedex but over the last few weeks they have been giving me the biggest run around with trying to ship some computers back to my job. I have the account number and the labels and I called fedex ahead of time to confirm that someone would be able to assist me with boxing everything so that nothing gets damaged during shipping and I estas assures that someone would either help me box or box it for me and that I could charge the cost of the materials to the account number as well. I have been to 3 different fedexs (in two different states) and NO ONE has offers to help! Everyone keeps telling me you need to box it yourself, we dont do that here. ARE YOU NOT A FREAKING SHIPPING COMPANY????? HORRIBLE customer service, lazy damn workers, and utterly useless! I was the only one in there at the times I went, you think SOMEONE would over to help but they all just contort their damn stank faces and basically tell me to go eff myself and come back when everything is done! I am BEYOND pissed with fedex right now! Get your act together and teach your terrible employees what customer service is!!!
Worst experience ever when the fed ex scumbags steal a piece of equipment worth 800.00 they dont even deserve one star avoid using fed ex for any of your business!! customer service hardly speaks english, wont give me a direct number to the location that has been holding my overnighted package for almost a week, and hangs up on you. Terrible customer service. Got to counter and before I could even explain the situation was told I needed to fill out a form. Filled it out and waitied in line again only to be told that it wasnt the right form. Have always used FedEx for this kind of stuff but UPS is going to have my business from now on.
They suck....real bad customer service! I ordered a phone which got to where I live on a Thursday they still wouldnt deliver it....I was told I had to wait till Monday to get it! UghhhhUnlike USPS they are always willing to please their customers....thats why I never use fedex besides the fact that they are to expensive!
You need to talk to your drivers who deliver and pick up in Woodstock that our sidewalks are not to be parked on and blocked in town. We have disabled people who can not get thru when your drivers do this. There are places to park by the locations they are going to. Also...we dont need to hear the drivers music blasting while the truck is running. There is also a NYS law that says no trucks are to be left running and we are a green town. FIX IT before it goes any further.
Exceptional customer service!!! I read the reviews about this location and was skeptical going in but the reviews are absolutely wrong. Best customer service I have experienced in a long time. I was in and out in less than fifteen minutes. Very polite, very professional staff. I will definitely return in the future.
Horrible customer service, had to pick up a package at fedex ground, pushed the damn buzzer, no response, went across the street, told me there to go back, pushed the button again, luckily another customer let me in, was met with a rude woman who really should not be working as the face of fedex, she told me to rake a seat, it will be awhile...after I got my package, wine, I called the outfit I get the wine from and cancelled my membership, I do not know how a company like fedex can afford to stay in business, its a farce.
So am not the only one then I was tracking my package which said that it was out for delivery I been up since 8am because I was expecting other packages which I did received when I go and check on fedex again later on that night it said that it was deliver to my front door no I dont think so these people got thieves workin there man am goin in the mornin to fedex I want my package and I want them to talk to that driver there only 2 floors here and no it couldnt been someone stole it I was up and out side at the time that said package was deliver...
HORRIBLE!! Terrible terrible customer service if you can call it that. They lost my package & I had to call everyday 3 times a day to try & find it. Everyone I spoke to told me I was wrong because I dropped my package off to a FedEx location!!! Are you kidding me?? Ill NEVER use them ever again

2022-06-18I ordered a kids gizmo watch and was supposed to be delivered Thursday and it didn’t come. We were home and no one came to our door to knock but marked on tracking that no one was home. They said the would attempt a second delivery which would be the following day and they didn’t pass by but marked that no one was home. I literally watched fed ex skip my house. I called fed ex and they said I should just pick up my package. The lady on the phone was very rude when I told her that fed ex skipped my house. She was so aggressive and told me I could be making it up. This is the first time this ever happens with fed ex. I hope they fix there mistake soon.

2022-05-21If I could give negative stars I would, zero would still be too nice. I’ve been trying to get my package for the better part of a week and after an incredibly rude call from this center, I have to make an hour trip to pick up my stuff. Mind you that I do not drive, have delivery instructions set up for my residence, and an alternate address just in case I’m at work during the completely redundant delivery window.Will try to update and give more details after I go.

2022-03-27This is the only review you need to read. I ordered a $1400 product that required a signature. 1st attempt was made late morning Thursday. I work during the day like most people so I got notice. I created a FedEx account, to access delivery options as noted on the notice, only to learn there were no delivery options. 2nd attempt Friday morning. I called FedEx in the afternoon and was told the driver will make another attempt same day, between 5 pm and 8 pm. Left work early, to make sure I was home. No driver showed. The next day, Saturday, learned driver made an attempt (no notice left) at 9:15pm, when I was sleeping. Called FedEx and automated phone message said another attempt to be made Saturday before pm 8 pm. Also spoke with a live person who said delivery will be no later than 2:30 pm. Waited around all day and no delivery. Called FedEx after 8 pm and told theres no deliveries on Saturday and that 3 attempts made so there will be no more attempts made. I pleaded and complained about what had happened to me, was just told there will be no more attempts, no exceptions. So thats it, the product is now going back to the company. From now on, Im not doing business with anyone who uses FedEx.

2022-06-12I placed an order on May 23, 2022 for Koni front struts and camber plates for my 2011 Mustang. I received my order across multiple days as they were shipped separately from the warehouse. Each strut arrived damaged and poking through the box with clear packing tape holding the boxes together (not well). I called and asked for a replacement multiple times and each time I received damaged items. 7 struts were sent to me in total over 2 weeks with my receiving shipping labels to return the damaged items, and the support representative was supposed to create FedEx pickup schedules for each. I have since returned all the items back to American Muscle using their RMA process and return shipping labels. I gave FedEx driver items and used Shipping Place to drop off the remainder. Today 6/12/2020 I checked my CC to see that I have not been reimbursed for the damaged items, so I called. After some time on the phone, they marked items as received and have supposedly put the money back on my CC accept for 1 Strut. They are telling me they have no record of the strut being returned, even though I used their return label and handed it to the FedEx driver personally. I called FedEx and they have no record of that tracking number either. So, using the American Muscle’s return process, and FedEx never giving pickup receipts for items returned, I am being held responsible for the cost of a damaged product because no-one can seem to find it in their systems.

2022-04-06Yesterday I had a scheduled delivery time that I paid for. I waited and NO PACKAGE even though it said it would be delivered by the the appointed time.Called FedEx an employee told me its at the facility its not on the truck but we will contact the driver.I said listen to what you just said why would you contact the driver when its NOT on the truck and I know that after 5 p.m. a driver is not going to go back to the distribution center and pick up anything else.I drove to FedEx NO PACKAGE it was been put back in some big bin.I said I PAID for a specific delivery window so I can get my package. It HAS to be signed for.

2022-06-16Lazy and incompetent driver. They left a tag without even knocking or ringing the doorbell, and it was the wrong door tag so FedEx couldnt even track it. Then they said its the shippers fault.

2022-02-22More like FraudEX! Arent you supposed to leave a physical notice? A little paper saying they made an attempt, where is it? What if I was a person without a cellphone and didnt signup for texts, how would I know if an attempt was made? These are the basics and you are failing to do you duty and delivery packages in addition to notify the recipient in a manner that allows anyone to be aware of a delivery.I was told I missed a delivery, but I was home. It was delivered the next day, and I asked about a signature, he said, Youre good, and drove away. If my signature was so important why didnt you leave the $1300 camera with the other items delivered. The driver only hopped out of the truck, after I went outside to greet him. My camera notified me of his arrival.Today a $1600 iPad pro was not delivered because I was not at home or the business was closed.There is no activity at the front door from 1 PM until I went outside at 1:50 PM after getting the missed package text. Between 1:31 PM and 1:55 multiple cars and trucks pass triggering the cam, but the magic FEDEX truck is now where to be seen?Stop messing with my deliveries and business or consequences with proof of actions by you company will need to be made available for public opinion and other people of note that can take action against FedEx.

2022-04-02They are absolutely 100% nonsense, I called FedEx customer services and they told me to pickup my package from this location before 5pm I drove 40mins just to collect my package and guess what after reaching their they told me that they are closed for the day and it was only 3pm and the person who answered the door was super rude 😡.

2021-11-10I have been here only a couple of times. The Staff are friendly and very knowledgable. If you go on their website you are able to put in your address and your delivery options. Where you want your packages delivered. Be specific on color of your house. List your phone number and email address as well.

2021-09-09Where to begin… the Newburgh fedex office refuses to deliver a package to us, has lied about delivery attempts, and the customer service line will not direct our calls to them! The package was several days late and then when promised to be delivered, there was again no attempt. We didn’t have a gift for an event. Our gift package was sent back after ZERO delivery attempts. These people are incompetent, lazy, and liars. I promise to NEVER use fedex shipping again in my life. I wasted 2 hours on the phone for nothing but frustration. Whoever works there should be embarrassed to be an adult. Do your job. You could easily get sued
