I would highly recommend this company. We have used this company for the last five years to clean and inspect our chimney and fireplace. They have always been professional, personable, technically knowledgeable, and very thorough.
I would recommend Felgemacher Fireplace. They returned my phone calls and started the job on the date that they told me. I believe that they did a great job and emailed me photos of the job when finished.
Upper half of chimney was badly weathered. They had a problem matching the 40 year old bricks but managed to find a close match. The weeping morter and technique of application was absolutely flawless. Real professionals.
Professional service provided. No question was left unanswered. I contacted them for additional work on my mothers home. You will not be disappointed.

We had originally called Felgemacher to examine the fireplace after having smoke in the house while using the fireplace. We had recently had the furnace upgraded to a high efficiency, which I believed was causing the smoke in the house. When the Tech came out, he agreed with my analysis, but wanted to scope the chimney just to be safe. He found that we had several fires inside the chimney itself, along with numerous open cracks. We had the chimney lined, which was covered by our insurance. If the Tech had not taken that extra step, it may have led to additional chimney fires, which is a frequent cause of house fires. The extra step taken most likely saved lives. I have used Felgemacher in the past and will certainly use them again!

The work of Felgemacher at our Lodge was fantastic. From our initial meeting for the job, which was re-pointing two very old chimneys on top of a 3 story building all the way through to final clean-up was done very professionally. Their knowledge of their trade was amazing and gave us pointers on the best way to do the job cost efficiently and according to all the codes. Thank you for doing such a great job!!
Their crew did an excellent job on our chimney repair. Took time to make sure the mortar was the matching color to existing. Checked sealant around flashing and replaced with new. All of the little details that can lead to problems later. Cleaned up after themselves, worked in a professional manner, and made sure they closed yard gate to prevent dog from wandering away. Recommended.

I originally had this company out to clean my fireplace, and they took a look at the unit and within just a few short minutes shared that I would need a new gas insert and a cleaning would do nothing. Many companies of death stage would have charged me for the visit, however they directed me to their website and said theyd be happy do you install another unit and just let them know when they like to have me come back. Due to circumstances unrelated it took me probably three or four months, but then they came in, were incredibly clean, friendly and did a great job with my new gas insert fireplace. I was extremely happy when I checked out their showroom to look at what the different inserts looks like as well as the service from there employees. I would over all recommend this provider 2 friends and have, which is why Im writing this review.

Felgemacher Masonry was there for us on a weekend when the lower part of our chimney collapsed. Within a week it was repaired and we felt secure knowing its been upgraded to current standards and shouldnt cause us any problems for a long time! A slight billing snafu at the end was quickly rectified, and overall we were pleased with the Felgemacher team!

2022-08-26I had Felgemacher repair the top of my chimney as it was badly deteriorated. After having three estimates it was obvious to me that they had the correct remedy for the repair as well as a very competitive price. I have just recently given their name to two other neighbors who also require work. I told them not to waste their time but just call them for a quote. I would not go to anyone else.The job was done correctly and looks great !

2022-04-26Felgemacher is a great company to do business with! I had to have major work on my chimney/fireplace. The team walked me through the entire process. Any question I had they answered with layman’s terms. The team started & finished as promised (weather permitting), they cleaned up any mess that may have been created, and the price was fair! 2022-03-19This is a Very Good Company!Someone answered the phone and was eager to book an appointment for an estimate within a week!I had Good photos of the damage to the chimney and had a pretty good Idea what the problems were.No surprises in the discussion of what needed to be done or the price they quoted me.We scheduled the job within the following week!They arrived on time on and were warm, personable and informative throughout the three day process. Not only was the customer service amazing but our technician Doug was very professional and knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done. We love our word burning fireplace and would not have been able to use it this past winter safely if it wasn’t for Doug. 2022-09-09Felgemacher Fireplace Shops was Great!My chimney had a few cracks on the cap, and the bricks needed repointing. Getting an estimate was easy, with all my questions answered. The repair crew showed up on time, protected my roof, while they chipped out all loose mortar. The repointing was perfect, they repaired the cap and added a cap coating. The chimney looked new when they finished, everything was clean!Highly recommend!

2022-08-06Workman did a great job rebuilding my chimney from the roof line to the top, before I had a new roof installed. Cleanup was well done , not one piece of debris from the old chimney anywhere near the worksite ! Would highly recommend them !
