I have been now a few times and like it. Portions are very small for some items and the special appetizer this Friday was just two pieces. We were three people so maybe a heads up. Our waitress was awesome and she has been there a long time! We sat outside. Sea bass is very good and one cousin always gets salmon this time with pasta and he loved it. Had two bottles of wine and talked for hours. Don’t forget to make reservations as city now busy.
Just visited here with a few friends and we loved it! The service is great - staff is very attentive. I also love how theyve adjusted during COVID times with tented seating as well as dividers between tables. Sitting down at a table with your friends really does feel like youre tucked away in your own safe bubble. The food is amazing of course and the portion size is just right! If youre gonna go for dessert - highly recommend the hazelnut mousse cake: airy, smooth, and decadent.
Really good food. Had dinner outside and enjoyed a perfect dry martini, spaghetti and clams with shrimp and a refreshing salad that had a dressing with a hint of lemon. The shrimp wasnt frozen shrimp but fresh and tasty. This was a special. The salad had ripe avocado, yum.Service was excellent. Always available and attentive. Watched the staff wipe down chairs, tables and door handles between diners. A bit loud on 1st Ave side with ambulances and traffic but thats not the restaurants fault.
Was really happy with the food, the drinks, the service, and the Covid-19 precautions at Felice. The bread and olive oil are a nice start. The drinks are interesting and well - made. Had a salad with artichoke and lamb lasagna - both tasty. I noticed a few lamb dishes on the menu and they know how cook it well. They were diligent about cleaning tables and chairs between diners and spacing tables 6+ feet. Appreciate their care. 👍
Great service. My wife and I made a reservation and got to sit outside. Food was delivered at perfect intervals. They actually have a fairly large wine bottle selection with everything from $40 -$200 bottles. The cheese and wine board was delicious. Both of our pasta dishes were cooked and seasoned well as well. Sometimes pasta can come out fairly bland at restraints but they did a great job of balancing their flavors.
Wonderful experience. Made reservations for dinner and arrived early so we had a drink at the bar before being seated at our table. The bartender, wait staff, and chef were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic and reminded us of our travels. The space was cozy and intimate, and just what we were looking for. A big thank you to Ervis for making our night so great!
Came here for Restaurant Week, and they had great options for each course. Recommendations: veal meatballs with lemon zest, pistachio gelato. The atmosphere is nice and romantic. The only downside is that the 2-person tables are SO close to one another; we ended up moving halfway through our meal to the bar because a couple sat down next to us that was loud.I would definitely come here again and love to try their other location as well.
Fantastic from the food to the service! This is a beautiful neighborhood gem with great rustic Italian vibe super well prepared food and an attentive staff that really care. The wines by the glass wouldn’t disappoint and my mom enjoyed her Belvedere vodkas. Price is reasonable for the quality. Atmosphere both inside and out is cozy. Tight seating but still comfortable. Enjoy!
Excellent service, pleasant ambiance and good cocktails. We were just there for pre-dinner drinks and a small appetizer but the antipasti platter of meats and cheeses was better than we were expecting and the bread was great. Im hoping to get back here for a full dinner.
We did the pre fix lunch menu. Came with some amazing appetizer options. The truffle oil bread is delicious. One of our items didn’t come out as described on the menu—- it actually had different items than what was described. It was still delicious. The service is good. If you’re around, it wouldn’t hurt to stop by. A great lunch spot.
Oh dear... What can I say. First of all, we ordered a Spaghetti carbonara and a Panini con Pollo. The panini REALLY disappointed me, it was so simple and dry. It was basically a bland chicken breast with bread. By the other hand, the Spaghetti carbonara was good. Not to die for, but ok. I was in the middle of my plate when the waitress by accident split water on my Spaghetti while serving me water. I wasnt mad because she immediately offered to change my plate. HOWEVER, when she came back with a new plate it was basically the part of my dish that wasnt wet with a bunch of parmesan cheese. ADDITIONALLY I noticed that the plate was dirty with the chef fingerprints (Shown in the picture). They did not make me a new dish neither give me a clean plate! SO disappointing.
Cozy place with good food, good service, and good wine at a decent price. Felice 64 has a diverse menu with specials including a large variety of pastas and mains for many tastes. Their wine is very well priced for NYC including the house wines $56 for Felice Sangiovese as just one example.Try the burrata or any of the crostini as apps. Pastas are big enough for a main if you get an app.
Average food, good ambiance. The salmon tartar is a bit too creamy which masks the freshness of the fish. Love the cheese with honey and fig appetizer (restaurant week menu). The mussels was decent as well. The lasagna was good but portion seems a bit small. The chicken milanese is a bit dry. Tiramisu was decent but a bit too powdery and not enough layers. Chocolate gelato was great.
I used live in the Upper East Side a few years ago, and I remember passing by Felice 64 very often. I was in town for the weekend and decided to finally give the restaurant a try for my husband and Is twelve year anniversary. I ordered pasta bolognese whereas my husband ordered a salmon. Once our food got to the table, my mouth watered and brought back all my memories from when I lived in Italy with my family. The wine selection was marvelous and the server was a great help when we had to decide on which wine we wanted. This is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants I have eaten at with the absolute best staff. I would most definitely recommend!
Love this place and go for dinner whenever I need a reservation or date night. Always have a great experience except for recently with the mussels. Got pretty sick after eating them, when they came to the table I should have known something wasnt right because of the taste and smell. Every other meal we get is delicious
I normally enjoy this place but was really turned off this evening. My guest and I walked in on a Saturday night at 9:45pm. The hostess was going to seat us but the manager ran up to us and said “sorry no, kitchens closed”. We left without question but walked away very confused. There was empty tables and your website says you’re open until 11pm. We felt embarrassed by the way he ran to approach us.
I fall in love with this place. Food is delicious! Highly recommend to try their desserts! Yummy! Make sure to make a reservation, the place is always packed even on Monday evening. Staff is very nice and attentive. Special appreciation to their manager Elvis. Would definitely come back.
We had the rice balls and artichoke ravioli for appetizers. The best steak Ive ever had but the cocktail was a little watered-down. The Covid barrier got knocked over by a gust of wind and took out my knee. The staff was quick to render aid and comped my meal to apologize. Id definitely recommend trying it out and maybe bring some knee pads just in case.
Consistently good food on our repeat visits. I really like the salmon rigatoni pasta and the pasta with the veal ragu. And my husband loves all their cocktails (Negroni, espresso martini, whiskey + raspberry are the favs.) Their wine list is huge too!The outdoor dining booths are really, really cute and feel quite private.Best part though? The desserts! They’re right out of a baking show with super soft lemon sponges, marzipan, (Princess Cake) praline decoration (mousse) and caramelized cocoa bits (layered chocolate cake.)
Really cute space. We made a reservation for a group of 9, and the center table could seat us comfortably.I had one of the salad menus, and it was delicious, but would definitely recommend all of their pasta dishes. Multiple people ordered pasta, and they all tasted really fresh, with excellent sauce / seasoning. I would definitely go back to try more dishes! A good neighborhood find; I am so excited to have a good go-to Italian place for when I crave pasta!
Super solid restaurant. COVID friendly and proper setup. Excellent tasty food and great service. They even made a small mistake and undercooked the burger but they immediately jumped on it and fixed it fast and it was excellent the 2nd time around. Manager was apologetic and a gentleman and they clearly care and want everyone to have a great meal and experience. That’s A+ in my book! This is a great place! Enjoy and tip well.
WOW!This place was immaculate. So gorgeous on the inside, soft lighting, great atmosphere and the staff was amazing. Our food was incredible, bathrooms were very clean, our server Richard suggested a fantastic wine, we had a little mishap with our food that was instantly fixed by the manager Elvis. When our food came out it was so flavorful and we were given fair portions.I cannot wait to return to this lovely establishment. Thanks again to Richard our server and Elvis the manager.
Food was excellent. Service was spectacular. It started pouring rain and the staff scrambled to make sure we didnt get that wet. They even held the outside umbrella down over us. Since there is only outdoor seating now and we couldnt go inside our meal could have been ruined but they saved it. We actually had a great time eating outside in the rain.. NYC will come back!
Small and coy Italian restaurant. Good selection of wines and some staples of Italian food. I like the distribution of the chairs because you can get a few by the window or sit on the rows which are more comfortable that tables scattered. I like the decor where they showcase the wines. Our waiter seemed to be new but he was very nice and the manager came several times to check on us. The best was the dessert, Tiramisu was excellent.
This is a very cute restaurant with a pleasant ambience. You may eat inside or outside as well. It’s a nice up Eastside location on first Avenue. The food was very good. I highly recommend it. I had a salmon dish for lunch which was very fresh and prepared in a lovely manner with peas mushrooms and escarole. The flavor was delicious! Plus I had a salad that was beyond excellent as well as it was a great portion and I shared it with my friend. For dessert I had gelato which was really great with whipped cream serviced in a fun Sundae dish. The service could be improved with a friendlier staff and a warmer group of people serving you. A smile might help the energy of this restaurant. Other than that I was very happy with this dining experience.
Excellent dinner at Felipe 64. The tenderloin was cooked exactly the way I like it and the sauce was superb. It is a small restaurant, but has lots of atmosphere. It is rather noisy, however the food is worth the elevated noise level.Good selection of wine by the glass.
Very cute spot for a date, as long as you dont mind leaning over the table to hear each other. The pasta is absolutely delightful and I cant recommend the gelato enough. The simple dishes can keep their ingredients list down because each one is great in quality. Lost a star for inattentive service.
Energetic vibe at this neighbourhood Italian restaurant. Its been busy the few times Ive gone, but I would definitely recommend it. Their pasta sauce is on point, and I had it with the gf spaghetti, which wasnt made in house but that didnt bother me. Good service and atmosphere.
Not a romantic place. It is just short of those community tables that were trendy for about two weeks a couple of years ago. But the food is good enough and the place is neighborhood-y enough that I end up meeting friends there fairly often. You wouldnt want to take a date there. Order a bottle of wine and expect to be there for a little while. The food moves slow, but with a bottle of wine and a couple of friends, thats a plus, not a negative. If youre expecting to be in and out in under an hour, go someplace else. If you want to have a good evening with friends, this place is a good choice.
Are you kidding me?! This is the most authentic tuscan restaurant in the U.S.A.; if you have been to Italy you cannot but agree that their effort to bring Tuscany to New York is showing year in and year out by the quality, the presentation and the class, yes the class, which is a rare commodity. And dont forget the wines that are impressive. I do recommend it, if you are in the mood for real Italian, whether for late breakfast, lunch or dinner. But dont forget to bring your loved one with you! And let them know if this is a special occasion.
We found this gem right before a large table arrived and were very pleased with the excellent food and service. The wine list is limited to Italy but that is my favorite country for wine. I found a wonderful bottle of Nebbiolo Rose on the menu for $38. There is always a gem to be found. Next time Im in NYC, youll find me there.
Oh man this place is amazing. The host Ervis was awesome. The service was top notch and the food.. omg the food was beyond amazing. I couldnt even wait until I left to leave this review. They made my fiancees birthday perfect. Take a loved one, take a friend.. Take a stranger just go to Felice 64

2022-05-13Had been wanting to go here for so long and finally made it happen! The bruschetta was honestly incredible, but the pastas werent mind-blowing. Id definitely skip the salmon pasta next time, but the sausage-truffle one was really good!

2022-08-05Enjoyed our time here. We showed up at around 5:30pm on a Saturday, and were seated without reservation. We sat inside though we would have sat outside if we had seen their wonderful setup on 64th street. I had the gnocchi and she had the quinoa salad with salmon. We didnt stay for dessert but their cocktail selection was refreshing for a hot summer day.

2022-03-08Our first time here for lunch, which was wonderful. Food was consistently high quality from the bread with EVO, Farm soup, Salmon salad (salmon portion was a bit small but the mustard sauce was divine, as was the rest of the salad) to the almond flour chocolate cake and espresso. Excellent service and an authentic Bistro environment made it an enjoyable visit.

2021-07-18Nothing special. We shared the spaghetti carbonara and the salmon. The pasta was ok but the sauce too oily. The salmon was just that. Not even salt or any sauce whatsoever, just potatoes beans and lettuce... We ordered a glass of wine without letting us taste it. Of course we ordered another We payed $100 for all of that. It was too much

2022-06-07The wine selection is stellar... after all, Felice is an Italian wine bar. Ive grown fond of the stable, classic menue. The ravioli is my all-time favorite. The candle lit atmosphere would be exceptionally romantic, if it wasnt for the loud, sports bar level roar of the patrons all talking. In the end, the room looks good, but its not a place to court a prospective partner.
