Have gone past the shop for a few years now and never stopped in. I decided to give them a try instead of the usual grocery store and Im glad I did! I went in asking for flowers for an anniversary and saw the sign out front for roses. The woman went back for 5-10 minutes and put together a beautiful bouquet of a dozen roses. When I saw it, I was nervous I ordered something super expensive! Was the $16.95 sign special, but beat my expectations overall! Around that price is the same if not cheaper than most grocery stores I usually buy flowers at. Its changed my go to flower spot and Ill plan on coming back for future occasions! Thanks!

ORIGINAL 2-STAR REVIEW: Called from out-of-state to have flowers delivered to my daughter in Cohoes for her birthday. Said Id like something with daisies and wildflowers and my daughters favorite color is yellow. I was told theres a $40 minimum for delivery and with fees and taxes the cost was $53. The bouquet my daughter received was pretty but looked like something that could be purchased at the supermarket flower section for less than $20 and it has not one daisy in it. I am very disappointed. I chose this florist based on positive reviews.UPDATE: The florist contacted me in response to my review and offered to make a new arrangement that would be more of what I had been expecting. He did a beautiful job on the new arrangement including many yellow daisies and it was a much larger arrangement than I would have expected for the original price I paid.

The staff at the cohoes shop are top notch. The floral arrangements that I have bought have all been amazing and have lasted and stayed vibrant for a long time. I don’t shop anywhere else for flowers and I wouldn’t suggest you do either.

Received flowers for mothers day.very disappointed.i have been doing business with felthousen over 30 years.weddings funerals proms.called the store and asked who flowers were from.received mothers day card but was not signed who sent it.employee told me it was my son.nice to know.arrangement was sparse.colors did not match and arrangement died within the week.told them price that my son paid this arrangement was sparse.i know what flowers cost since since I buy them all the time.employee told me that is the price and flowers are marked up for holidays.was not given the suggestion or opportunity to bring arrangement in to be looked at.adding more flowers etc.it was it is what it is.very very disappointed since this was my go to florist.feel even worse for my son who sent an arrangement and it died within a week.WOW.....Update: I was contacted the very next day after this post by rebecca who listened to my concerns.she was very apologetic.next day a beautiful hanging basket arrived.thank you Mark and Rebecca for listening and following up and sending a beautiful basket.

I called them up at 5 PM this afternoon, wasn’t sure what time they were closing. He said 5! I was literally one minute away from his store.I’ve driven by this place a million times. I live in Cohoes. I wanted to do something special for someone.Ben was very hospitable to me! I definitely will be going back :-)

I had a last minute order on Friday afternoon for a funeral service the following morning at 9am. Ben was extremely helpful and assured me the flowers would be delivered in time. Since it was a local funeral home, he said there was no charge for delivery, even though it was a last minute order. I was so shocked because it seems everybody charges for delivery these days. I ended up calling him back about 1/2 hour later to add another order of flowers from my siblings. He said no problem and helped me with that order as well. When I saw both arrangements the next day at the funeral service, I was extremely pleased. They were ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, even better than I expected! Thank you Ben (and whoever else helped with the order)! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate such good customer service and impeccable talent.

I went in today to order funeral flowers. I hadnt been there in about 2 years. Service was better than ever. The shop had been redone, and looked amazing. Its so neat, clean, and friendly. I will have to stop in more often.
