FS Dirtworks has recently competed the removal of my inground pool and I feel compelled to comment on how professionally and neatly they completed this whole process. Their pricing was fair, Lou Russo met all the requests we made, and his men were prompt and efficient. An inspector stated he does some of the best work in the business!I would wholeheartedly recommend them for this type of difficult work.

From Donna, the office manager, to Lou, the owner, it was a great overall experience with Field Stone Dirt Works. The process of removing an in ground pool from beginning to end was handled timely, thoroughly and professionally with communications and engagement being a critical component. This involved obtaining all necessary permits to the actual removal and back filling of the pool area. It was a job well done.
Lou and his team delivered on every single promise they made, and far exceeded my expectations during each phase. They were quick, courteous, communicative, and did a fantastic job of removing a 55 year old collapsed in ground pool. Everyone on the team worked very hard, and there was nothing damaged, everything was left clean and tidy, and Lou did everything from beginning to end. I highly recommend FS Dirt Works pool removal. They are experienced, organized, efficient, friendly and easy to communicate with and schedule. The did a Great job removing my above ground pool and carting it away. They also disassembled and carted away a large wooden pool deck. They leveled the ground afterwards and placed topsoil where the pool once stood. I am super happy with the process and end result. The owner, workers and office staff all A+

Everyone these days are afraid to hire a contractor. I must put your worries to bed. I hired FS Dirtworks to remove a whole bunch of concrete from my backyard. I was worried about my driveway as they had to drive heavy equipment and dumpsters up and down it. Lou assured me that they would take great care in preserving it and they did. The job was done in 2 days they were very clean and did an absolutely perfect job. I couldnt be more happy.

2022-05-18If you are looking for someone to fill in your pool, look no further than Field Stone Dirt Works. Lou, the owner, quickly responded to our call and gave us a quote to demolish our eyesore of an in ground pool which we thought was very reasonable. His team of workers were great. Shout out to Rob! Big machinery brought in filled with dirt. Added top soil and grass seed. Looks like a different backyard. All debris was carted away. Angela in the office was always available to speak with. 2021-08-19Lou was terrific to work with from beginning to end - totally responsive when we had an unexpected water problem - He came to drain the pool early at our request. He and his staff tailored the job to our specific needs - they brought extra loads of dirt because our pool took more dirt than usual to fill in.Angela, in the office, was also a pleasure to work with - She returned every phone call and conveyed every message - she even came over to the house to collect our paperwork to turn in to the Huntington Office so that we could get the okay to begin work in a timely manner.Overall, we had a superb experience and would highly recommend.

2021-05-17I’m James from Commack. I called for dirt removal, Lou came very quickly told me how everything would go and how much it would be. Long story short, his team came shortly after and did a better job than I expected. They were all professional, funny, and hard working. Lou gave me a reasonable price and stuck to it with no surprises. Good company, high quality work, and I would definitely use them again for future projects.

2021-05-10We had a sunken patio that was taking up a huge part of our yard and was unusable. Lou came and gave us a quote and price was great! Lou showed up on a friday and Roberto was in charge of our project. They worked hard to get this done and by monday the job was complete! All cement and cinder block were removed and then clean fill and compost were put in.They cleaned up when they were done and set our fence back in place.We now have a yard and a great area for a garden, we are beyond happy with how this job turned out. Everyday Roberto told us what the plan was for the day and the crew got it done.I highly recommend Field Stone Dirt Works! If you need work done DO NOT HESITATE, call them. Angela will take your information and Lou will come and give you a quote.Beyond happy with everything

I never knew removing a pool would involve so much hard work.I also learned that you really need someone who is EXPERIENCED, SKILLED and takes GREAT PRIDE in their work. Lou was there every step of the way - from helping with the permits to even being an emotional help as well! Its a tough decision for some of us who have had a pool for so many years. Its like saying goodbye to an old friend and many fond memories. Lou pointed out the advantages of removing it which helped me feel a lot better.Woo hoo! I am now saving money in property taxes, maintenance, time and pool supplies. And, my property looks so much larger! I am really happy!A shout out to Rob and Angela - part of Lous great company. 2020-09-12I used Lou & his company to do excavating work. He came exactly when he said he would to give me the estimate. I needed him to level out a portion of my property that was impossible for me to mow. The hill was very high and I had already tipped over 2 lawnmowers trying to take care of it. I found FS Dirtworks on google and called immediately! I spoke to Lou. He came to take a look the same day & returned 1 week later to do the job. Lou is a very Happy, Friendly, & Fun Loving guy. My excavating work is complete & he even leveled a piece of my yard as well & refused to take any extra money for doing it! 2020-11-25Lou Russo and his team did a great job. For several years I had delayed removing my pool because I thought it would be too costly. Lou came up with a good price and did the job, fulfilling every one of his promises, and also installed a sod lawn for a reasonable cost. Nice job! The Town of Smithtown told me that I will receive an annual tax reduction of $832.

2020-02-12Lou at Field Stone Dirt Works took the hassle out of removing my 16 x 32 ft in-ground pool. Lou and his team worked with the Town of Huntington on the paperwork, and on the necessary Town inspections of the work. The work was done impeccably, with only the leveled off, filled in hole as evidence that the work was done. Lou and his team work quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend their pool removal services, and they are exceptional. Their prices are reasonable, and Lou is wonderful to work with. A HUGE recommendation!!
