Wonderful time tonight. The good time started with the big balverian pretzel stick we had with a side of hot fudge Fish fries on point !! Currently dining with friends and everything is absolutely wonderful. We have a waiter that is has been just perfect. I was able to put a special order in with the home made jack daniels sauce that usually goes on the pulled pork, he put in an order to let me put it on a chicken sandwich, it is delicious. The soup and salad is sooo good!! Fresh and home made ! What could be better than that ?! This is by far my favorite sandwich I will come back to order this delicious dish!! What an amazing dining experiance to be treated like family at the dinner table!! A place for all kids family time, maybe your alone tonight, come to dinner and feel like your at home with the family of feildstone! The atmosphere is comforting and warm. Great time tonight! :)
I went for our work Christmas dinner, so we had a large group. The staff and waitresses were very friendly and patient with us. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar before we were seated. The bartender was great and it was not crowded on a Wednesday night. Once we sat , the bread, salad bar and appetizers were all amazing. The bread is fresh bake and we had stuffed peppers and mushrooms for the appetizers. The dinners were were even more amazing. I, myself, had crab stuffed shrimp with baked potato. Delicious! There was also barbecue ribs, fresh haddock, strip steak, lobster and filet. They all looked awesome and nobody had any complaints. All the meals were good sized portions and worth the prices. There were many varieties of pie for dessert but everyone was to stuffed to try any. I highly recommend going.
We went for lunch today they had a burger special for 7.99 it was delicious I had the Mushroom Swiss burger my husband had the American classic and french fries it was delicious! The atmosphere was great the waiter was great they had soft music playing in the background we really enjoyed ourselves! We had the best seat in the house by the Cozy warm fireplace!
Stacey was wonderful. What a great waitperson. Brought all items promptly and let us know what they were out of before we looked at the menu so we didnt set our heart on something they were out of. The seafood bisque soup was awesome and this is one of the few places when I ordered my prime rib medium rare it was perfect. We will definitely be back even though we live in East Aurora. You wont be sorry stopping here for a meal.
We had a funeral luncheon there with about 50 people. The food came out hot, delicious and timely. Unlimited soup and salad bar were a wonderful treat and I cant say enough about how efficient, friendly and courteous the staff was the entire time. I would highly recommend The Fieldstone!!
Old time favorite with great daily specials..Meals includes a salad and soup bar. There is a nice outdoor patio on side surrounded by shrubs. Great daily specials.meals.includes Saturday had several seafood choices, prime rib, lamb chops etc. They also have a large selection of enormous pies to eat in or take to go.
Went here for my BILs rehearsal dinner. It seemed casual (the table clothes were very casual diner type) and the food lacked a little in presentation. But it was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic. Would absolutely go here again and would highly recommend it!
I went there to pick up a to go order was told to go to the bar to get my order the gentleman behind the bar ignored me for at least 3 minutes till the waitress had to tell him I was there to get my food gave me a receipt didnt say anything and walked away to get the food when he came back I asked if my wife had paid for it or not he replied very rudely no thats why I gave you the receipt you pay me I told him he could keep the food and walked out will never be ordering from here again.
Theyve gone down hill. Scallop special was horrible. 2 of us ordered it and we both hated it. The dish was 75% rice that had no seasoning. The blue cheese did not pair well with the cajun seasoning they used and the tomatoes where so mushy and over cooked. The service was so slow!!!!! They could not recommend a fruity drink, they did not know they had an appletini on their specials board.... Waitresses huddled together talking
My parents and I, along with my little dog, are visiting the area. The pet friendly hotel (isnt all that pet friendly) wont allow you to leave your pet in the room (even crated) to go out for dinner. I saw online that the Fieldstone Country Inn had outdoor seating. I called and asked would my little dog be welcome (in a carry bag) and the response was most definitely. All three of us throughly enjoyed dinner. We brought desserts back to the hotel for later. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This is a cozy place with great food. I have got the chicken glazed nut salad the last 2 times I was there and it is the best salad I have every had. The dressing for the pairs so well with the candied nuts and apples that come with it. All 4 of us were extremely happy with are meals. The portions are massive by the way come hungry.
First time ordering from this restaurant. Ordered 10 wings received 9. Was told to come back to the restaurant for 2 wings. (Not even 5 wings as a suitable replacement)..Who in their right mind is gonna waste the gas and all just to go back out and pick up 2 chicken wings??
I have eaten at this restaurant for years, my husband appreciates the vast menu as much as I do. Staff are like family and because we have been there for so many years they can always recite our past beverages and confirms our order.Prices are extremely fair, portions are very generous, and best of all, the food is incredibly delicious, and the soup...the chef makes fresh soup(s) everyday, that and fresh bread are a meal in itself. The owner Mark takes the time to say hello, and thank you for your business.
The food is always awesome here. This has been one of my favorite restaurants for over 25 years. Tonight was very busy and they accidentally gave my take out order to someone with the same first name. I was hungry and sad but i wasnt upset, I totally understand human error. The owner insisted on making it right with a more than generous offer. I really appreciated that very much. I Highly recommend the fieldstone restaurant for delicious food, a warm atmosphere and now outstanding customer service. Thank you!
We have enjoyed eating at the Fieldstone for decades. On 7/9/21 my elderly mother was charged for an extra meal. When she called and spoke to the manager/owner a couple days later she was told he would mail her a check for the discrepancy. Two weeks later she still hasn’t received it; it wasn’t mailed because “the woman that does that is on vacation.”Taking advantage of an elderly woman? You should be ashamed.
Just had dinner on the patio last night. Very pleasant, comforable seating surrounded by shubbery and flowers. Our server was outstanding, never missed a beat in meeting our needs and was knowledgeable about the food and drink options. Our food was served very timely and hot. The dinners included both soup and salad, which most restaurants dont offer. We enjoyed our experience so much, cant wait to go back very soon.
If youre hungry then go to the Fieldstone! Been going there for quite awhile and we have NEVER EVER been disappointed with the service or the food. The food is absolutely wonderful and the portions are huge! Had a burger last time we went - this burger was over 10ozs and hand pressed! You will not find this in other restaurants that used frozen burgers! Soups are made in house and so are the desserts. Now for pricing - let me say you get alot of food for a very reasonable amount- we think without a doubt youll pay more at the chain restaurants and be disappointed! Last thing we want to mention is the atmosphere on the inside - it is very nicely decorated with fieldstones being part of the walls with nice lighting and decorations. Romantic. Go and Enjoy!
Hung out at the bar and played quick draw, had a good time and a good meal. Bartender was attentive and sociable, food was delicious. Steak wrap was my choice, which was kinda small for the price but with the fries it was a decent meal. They bring a giant tray of desserts around to tempt you, and it works... with some peanut butter fluffy thing for my pick that was absolutely perfect. Wish I took a pic, it all looked very good.
Plenty of parking. Excellent wait staff. We were a large party. They accomadated us easily. There was a variety of meals ordered from burgers to chicken Alfredo. Even baby back ribs. No complaints. Everything was delicious. Apple pie was a very tasty end to my dinner. My husband and I will definitely return for more.
First time dining here. Let me just say, the food is just spectacular. The lowlight of the meal was the prime rib which wasnt bad at all. Though my piece was a bit fatty, its prime rib and was still very tasty.Their homemade bread was stellar. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and a great homemade flavor. I bought 2 loaves to go when we left. Our table ordered 3 different types of soup, and the opinion was clear; their soups are outstanding. I gave a little giggle when I saw the portion, which was a bit small, but the taste and flavor were spot on. I tried the southwest soup and it was incredible. Our appetizers followed. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and fried zucchini. The chef nailed this as well. The breading on the zucchini was light and flavorful and the flavors in the stuffed mushrooms were well thought and delicious. The salad was almost unwelcomed as we had gone through a few courses already, but Im glad I ate it. It was basic, with italian dressing that left me ready for my entree.Again, the prime rib was good, but the starters were perfection so it was hard to top. The only thing I could constructively criticize about would be the mashed potatoes. They couldve used a bit more flavor. Next time I will try a different side.Their dessert selection is also sizable and I tried the blueberry peach pie. I didnt finish it, but it was a nice end.The service was good, not great, but they were busy. The meal was so good it did not matter. Overall a great dining experience and cannot wait to go again.
I ordered a Pittsburgh salad made with chicken fingers. Instead they gave me a regular Pittsburgh salad and then an order of chicken fingers. Basically doubled the price and sent me a salad with cold fries and cold steak. Asked for extra dressing. They filled two cups a little over halfway and thought that would be a great idea. For 40$ it was a rip off and unsatisfactory.
The inn has a very warm atmosphere, very cozy. The service was very good. It was Oktoberfest, lots of German food. I had prime rib and the rest had the German special. All liked their meals. The front desk was a little confused and that area is very congested. That was my reason for a 4, that whole area is congested by the door, salad bar the bar and the waitresses coming in and out with trays of food.
Highly recommended. The food was fabulous and the service was exceptional. Dinner specials are beyond what we expected. Tuesday the dinner special is unlimited steak and breaded shrimp. For $18.99, one doesnt expect the rest of the included dinner. Unlike most places, it includes both soup and salad, both of which are unlimited. The bread with dinner is homemade and melts in your mouth. For your salad be sure to ask for the house dressing, hot bacon. The croutons are homemade as well. I was also surprised that they carry Birch Beer. For a truly affordable dining experience, this is a dont miss stop. One comment though. Be sure to check the prices in the restaurant as their website tends to have older prices. The website lists this special as $17.99, while the actual charge was $18.99.
Great service and food was done to perfection! Cauliflower soup was fantastic! My fav was Goulash soup but some thought it had a bite to it, not me. Steaks were so tasty, roast beef melted in mouth, fried shrimp popped they were done just right. Wish I had room for pie, they stand 5 high! Dessert first next time!
Stopping here was a fantastic idea. Its very classy, but still rustic and calm. There is a lot of detail in all the decorations.Lots of space. But I can see why and how it gets busy. Homemade soup and a salad bar.Great selection of great wine. The food is amazing. With lots of specials. Our waiter was Patrick, not only is he great at his job, he remembers all the details of all the food options. If youre driving by, or looking for a new place to explore, this is the place for you.
The service was decent, but the food wasnt what we were expecting. Much of the beef is under done, and the poultry was overcooked. Their desserts are good, and their bread is amazing, but much of the food was sub-par. We were also brought one or two dishes that had not been washed completely. This place has some good things, but it needs work in some areas.
We have had the pleasure of catering to this fine restaurant for many years and the only thing that changes is it gets better and better. The soups are off the chart on delicious, super hot, loaded with scrumptious veggies and bread, fresh baked and lots of butter.Main entrees every meal is loaded with top choice meat and homemade mashed potatoes or cut fries, of course there’s rice and assortment of other side dishes.Lastly, they bake the pies onsite and as soon as you walk into the restaurant the pie case is there to greet you...save room because you will never be disappointed. The restaurant is spotlessly clean...clean...clean, the staff are friendly, efficient and attentive to you, they want you to be happy, filled and pleased so you can return. Prices are fair are they less than any other restaurant, I don’t know, BUT I do know the quality, quantity and delicious food is at the Fieldstone Country Inn.
Had a very good experience overall. Food came out very HOT and fresh (which is honestly rare and nice to see!) Restaurant and tables were very clean! Fresh bread was nice. Beer was perfect temp...cold and glasses clean. They have few specialty non-alcoholic drinks. Waitress, Stacy was EXCELLENT!!! Fast, kind, polite and you could tell she was experienced!! Thanks. Only slight issue was decor and needing a more modern update possibly?? If you like the rustic/country look youll love it!
I’m giving this place 3 stars for its customer service and atmosphere. VERY FRIENDLY and professional staff. The host was awesome he gave me a seat right next to the fireplace which was nice! The food though....I was not a fan of the French Onion soup and the seafood platter I got was EXTREMELY BLAND! I literally boxed my entire meal, took it home and seasoned it myself. I asked for lemon butter season and it was coated in paprika and nothing else. Very disappointing considering what I paid for this. I got two pieces of shrimp and three very small scallops with fish. I expected way more from this place and I feel maybe I just had a bad experience my first time around so I’m going to try and come back one more time. I have high expectations for my second visit. There will be an updated review.
We would go very often. Food is great. On New Years eve we had a 6:30 reservation for 4 people.we arrived at 6:00 to have a drink at the b as r first. We didnt get seated until 8:00. My husband was not happy and let it be known. Mark ( the owner ) did compensate by taking care of our bill. We have heard this from many people about having reservations and not getting seated in a timely manner.
Had the Parmesan Crusted baked Seafood Platter and my partner had the Black Angus Strip Steak. Both meals were excellently prepared. Loved the New England Clam Chowder. Would have loved to try a dessert but was too full. Stacy was a terrific server. Very attentive and her section was very busy while we were there. An outstanding experience.
My second visit here for my Wifes Birthday was very good! Selection of food was awesome, steak was cooked to perfectly as ordered as was my Lobster! Her dinner was cooked and tasted great too. Scenery was very nice like being in a log cabin Lodge with a bar and tables.Recommend you stop in to view this landmark place!
Nice atmosphere, food good but over priced. The owner/manager who walks through the restaurant frequently is poorly dressed (looks like the dishwasher from the back) does not cover his face with a mask or when he does its only over covering his mouth which was a turnoff.
Went there for easter, was very disappointed. We had a table of 8 and all felt the same way. We were there 3 years ago and it was not too bad. The ham was terrible and only one choice of potato. No cheese for salad, no butter for buns or shrimp. On.y had 2 tables of food instead of 3. Ran out of cheesecake and only had cake, no pies. Very little variety. Has gone downhill. Wont go back!!
Recommended by the cashier at The Lockport Outdoor Store and we are so grateful. The staff was so nice! Food was amazing and prices were great! Soup bar was awesome! Family atmosphere. Bar was packed & didnt disrupt our dining. We even had conversations with our neighboring tables. Weve been their twice and came from Tonawanda to enjoy the Inn.
Sunday afternoon drive time. Always passed Fieldstone because it was too busy or looked too expensive. Decided today to give them a try. Was seated right away. Busy but not packed. Service was excellent. Opted for lunch today but they have an extensive dinner menu. Wife had shaved prime rib over garlic toast. I had Jack Daniels sliced pork loin on a Kaiser roll. Both were extremely good. I got the unlimited salad and soup bar. Unlimited in quantities but limited in selection. I recommend you check it before ordering. Dessert was lemon chiffon cake that melted in my mouth. Will have to go back later and try dinner.
Real good comfort food! They start you off with homemade loaf of bread...drool. Add to that 2 hearty soups to choose from that comes with your meal plus a side salad...def try the warm bacon dressing it was delish! Big portions! I ended up taking home my shrimp & scallop angel hair pasta in a lemon garlic sauce and lemme tell you I ate that for 2 meals and it was just as good re-heated. 💖 Will be going back frequently!
Fieldstone in the past had gone to what I like to describe as a simple food menu. Its been 10 years since weve past been there and things really changed menu wise! All four of us enjoyed our dinner, wife had shrimp, I had parmesan created fish, cheese quesadilla, and kids chicken fingers! All yummy!Food wise, about the only thing I would improve is the soup and salad bar. Too small with not enough options. That hasnt changed and needs to!And interior hasnt changed at all. All dark woods everywhere. Christmas lights were up so that was nice.
Went at about 3 got the dinner menu. Half rack ribs mashed potatoes. It was good and fresh. service was good. Never asked for refill on pop and my diet pepPe was flat. Nice little salad bar with choice of two soups. Like that option. Husbands steak was cooked to the way he likes it. $60 for the teo of us for dinner. Will return.
Our family recently lost one of our members, we called the Field stone only one day in advance. The owner and staff responded in an unbelievable way by making our dinner party a special occasion in remembrance of my sister. The food was VERY good. The service was outstanding!!! Thank you Mark and staff for a blessed time with family!!
Just a great place all the way around. I never had to wait to be seated. Everyone is always so friendly and eager to help. I just love the selection of soups every time I go. I have to say the food selection is a lot higher of quality and to dessert are always a most at the end.
My wife and I have been patrons of The Fieldstone for well over 20 years.I can honestly say weve never had a bad meal or experience there.Food is always excellent, and the service is also very good. Its our favorite restaurant in Western NY.Give them a try, you wont be disappointed.
Decent food. Terrible service. Ordered drinks and food. Waitress did not return for 30 minutes despite empty wine glass and us looking around. A second waitress finally passed and we asked her for another round. She told our waitress who waited until our dinner was ready to bring the drinks. After clearing our table and bringing our check we waited another 15, our waitress walked by twice ignoring our card, till my SO went to the ATM to get cash so we could leave. Do not sit in the front of the house as that appeared to be her station.
Well the fieldstone I thought was a pretty good place to order from however today due to covid we decided to order take out and 7.99 for 2 pretzel sticks and 8.99 for 2 stuffed peppers is way,way out of hand.I will never order there again. The burgers were ok so they got a 1 star......I guess.
Took my mom and kids to dinner, our waitress Emily was curt, in a hurry and rude as a result, unbecoming of a waitress, but they hire locally in Lockport, to be expected I quess. Way over priced, salad lettuce is the worst part of iceberg, not Romain lettuce. Food is average to poor, which doesnt warrant the prices and the menu needs an overhaul, time for a complete do over ......
I cant say anything bad about this place service was excellent food was DELICIOUS little soup and salad bar with homemade croutons and AMAZING soups all the time went out with hubby and was totally satisfied didnt have phone on me but is so adorable inside and cozy and warm has a fireplace inside
I was at the restaurant with my husband and ordered the scallops. We waited quite a while and when they came they were like rubber. I told the waitress I couldnt eat these and she offered to get me something else. No problem. By the time that came my husband was done with his dinner I had mine wrapped. We had a coupon and it called for two drinks. I had ordered water. She charged us for another drink and NO other compensation was given. Horrible. Wont be going back!!
Wow! My Business Partners and I hosted a Rodan + Fields Skincare Presentation and dinner for approximately 30 women and men. The Manager was very accommodating to give us excellent menu choices which included the salad bar and dessert, coffee/soda. The food was delicious and served in a very orderly fashion. Our waitress, Tess, did a superb job at handling all 30 orders as well as giving prompt attention to drink orders. Her service to our group was exceptional in every way. We will be back for more get togethers. Thank you so much to The Fieldstone Employees!!
OMG, Ive never been here before. Took me 61 yrs to get here. We sat down and looked at the dinners for the nite, It looked alittle pricey for my liking. BUT !!!!!!!!!!We decided to try the Fish dinner, Beer batter, Cut shoe string frys, Slaw, Warm bread an butter. With a Soup bar.THIS Place is out of this world, the Waitress was a 5 Star staying on top of making sure we needed anything.WE WILL BE BACK, You Guys Know how to cook Fish an Frys.O Yeah........... Great Slaw too..... 🙂
Other than the bugs all over the place this would have been an enjoyable dinner..there were bugs on our table..bugs in my rolled and tied silverware napkin..our server was swatting them on the empty table next to us..for a establishment that charges the prices that FieldStone does they might want to exterminate..it was pretty nasty
Food is just ok nothing to write home about. Upon paying my bill they charged me$4.00 over the menu price for meal. Waitress indicated their was a price increase on the meal but never changed menu price. I think the only time I will come back is if I receive a gift certificate to this restaurant.
Best fish fry in all of Lockport! Fish is delivered fresh everyday from the local seafood place Montondos. Free salad and soup bar with every meal. The wait staff is always pleasant and quick. The only downside is the decor. Its dark and hasnt been updated in years and seems a little dingy. Otherwise this is one of the best options for a nice meal for a decent price with great service in Lockport.

2022-05-22Great experience all aroundThe waitress was goodThe host Im assuming the owner was rushing around seating people and busing tables. The food was exceptionalThey brought fresh baked bread to the table. The soup and salad bar had a good selection. The cheeseburger soup was good wow...The kids meal chicken fingers were home made and easily an adult portion. The pies were good too. They have one of those trays with all the options so you can see what you want. The price for 2 adults and a child was 71$The fieldstone style was very interesting to look at and made it feel very comfortable. The mens bathroom was clean and well-kept.

2022-05-24It is pricey but SO worth it. The BEST food I have eaten in a restaurant...no, its an inn. Calling it a Restaurant cheapens the quality. Triple recommend this place. Their beef and rice soup...tastiest ever...coconut crusted chicken...most delish sauce and love the fruit on top. Our waitress, Chrissy, was superb to boot. Very friendly, attentive but not overbearing.

2022-02-16My first visit to this awesome restaurant was yesterday 2/15/22. Tyler our server was awesome!! The food was fabulous and the portions were generous while the prices were lower than expected! The salad bar was well stocked and fresh! I love the lodge theme of this restaurant and will be coming back...a lot!

2022-05-21I was forced to give a star, so I can give a review. Really it should be NO star. The service was awful, Chrissy seemed not to pleasant or friendly. We ordered grilled fish.Guess what, it was not grilled at all, it was poached and rubbery. And what kind of fish is that suppose to be for $15.99 Talipia I guess, the cheap fish. My wife took one bite and now she has a upset stomach. I told Chrissy that the fish was not grilled but poached. She said she has no clue. I sent it back and they wanted to charge $10.99 for unlimited soup and salad. My wife had a small bowl ( smaller than a cup of soup) of seafood bisque. It was awful and was super thick with seemed like no seafood. I never looked at the reviews before and Id wish I did. I would have never come here. They should keep an eye on the way the food is cooked. I will Not be coming back, not even a second chance

2022-06-12Outdated and the food is was overpriced. Our server was very polite and accommodating because we had a bigger party. Meat was cooked too temp but had no flavor.
