Dr. Bialko is the best dentist I have ever been to. He is so patient and takes his time with you. He has a great staff. Everyone makes you feel as comfortable as possible. Very friendly. Dr Bialko has the greatest sense of humor. Izzy is always enjoyable to.
All I can saw is WOW! I called because I had an emergency situation. When the phone picked up I was very surprised to hear the dentists himself. He was very polite and respectful. Asked me a few questions over the phone, he did recommend filling out the online information before getting there for faster service (which happened:) ) l When I got there fast in and out. Doctor was very nice and polite and gave me a lot of information about my situation. I would recommend him to friends and family for sure.
Everything is clean and the staff are very friendly. I was especially surprised to have two new fillings done without novacane which was a first. I did not experience pain. Dr Bialko is very clear and easy to understand plus he has a great sense of humor. 5 Stars.
Ive been going to Fingerlakes Smiles for two years, beginning in Autumn 2017 when I bit a seed and cracked a tooth. With care, knowledge and awareness of how frustrating dental work can be for someone like myself who hadnt been to a regular dental appointment for some time, Dr. Bialko explained all my options for remedying my cracked tooth. His explanations were offered a view to the future; specifically how each procedure would impact my mouth over the coming 5 - 10 - and 15 year period (specific procedures would require specific follow-up procedures and others would require maintenance). I was impressed, even more-so after he filled various cavities and provided me with a fail proof plan to care for mouth in order to minimize my cavities. I have returned to his office for several cleanings and a few more cavity fillings. Would I recommend him - YES! Especially for families, he enjoys his job very much, loves kids and doesnt mind being silly for their enjoyment!In short - Dr. Bialko is Best - accept no substitutions!
I have been a long term patient of Dr Davidson. I wish Dr Davidson never sold the business to Dr Bialko. Dr Bialko almost ruined my tooth. I am so glad I decided not to go back. He has no idea what he is doing. I have now decided to go to another local dentist in auburn and I am very glad I did. Please don’t go to him. I don’t recommend him to anyone!
Broke a tooth last night, called Dr Bialko at 8:00 am this morning. Told him the situation I was having. I told him I would be heading out of town. Dr Bialko said can you be here in 15-20 minutes. He fixed my tooth with a side of good humor and conversation. I was out of his office in 30 minutes. Thank you so much. You made my day!!!!!
I have been going to this office for years and love both Dr. Davidson and Dr. Bialko. When I moved two years ago to Ithaca I never even thought of changing dentists office. It is well worth the 45 minute drive to continue going to this office. The staff is great and you can’t ask for a nicer group of people!
This has got to be the best place I have ever been my whole life went in a little nervous because I always have dental anxiety but during the appointment i felt calm and I would have to say it was the first time in my life I didnt not get nervous and felt comfortable. Will only be using this dentist Dr Bialko from here on out. I will be sure to spread the word to everyone that this is the best place in Auburn Ny to go to.
As someone with a severe case of dentophobia (fear of dentists and dental work), I have suffered my whole life every six months when I went to the dentist. But I find I no longer suffer now that I have been going to Dr Bialko since he came to Auburn a few years ago. His hygienist, Erica, is thorough, professional, and smart. His son, who is at the front desk, took care of insurance issues for me quickly and competently (insurance company fault--not the dental practices), and Dr. Bialko has a wonderful sense of humor that puts me at ease. When I come into the office, he comes out to greet me even before he does the exam after my cleaning. He is knowledgable and helpful, answering all my questions and spending as much time as I need to feel secure. Most of all, when he has had to drill my teeth, even without novocaine he did not hurt me (astounding!!). No longer do I find myself quaking before entering the office. I recommend him VERY HIGHLY. He and his office professionals are the best I have found in 60+ years of going to dentists. Thank you all!
Let me share my story of my experience with Dr. Robert Bialko, DMD, Fingerlakes Smiles. I had what I thought was a tooth ache - went to see him, wasn’t my teeth - he made arrangements for me to go right from his office to a osteo guy to look at my roots and gums - not the problem as well. The osteo guy sent me back to my family doctor thinking I was overreacting to the pain pf a slight sinus infection. Dr. Robert Bialko, DMD, Fingerlakes Smiles knew me well enough to know that I was far from an overreactor. He called me to follow up with the family doctor and we both agree that the pain was far too severe…everyday he checked in with me. Two days later the whole side of my face swelled and I went to the ER on Dr. Bialko’s insistence. I had not one, not two, not three but FOUR brain aneurysms. My family doctor never follows up - the rote guy could have care less but every day Dr. Bialko checked in on what he knew was a deeper problem than a tooth ache. I ended up having a full craniotomy - brain surgery with a five month recovery. Do you know what the chances are of surviving four brain aneurysms? I followed though because he followed through - every day he called and asked did you follow up with your MD today? Make sure you do and I would. Every Day, People. Isn’t this the kind of medical professional you want on your Team? I owe my life to him.
The new dentist Dr. Bialko was not able to complete my root canal. He broke off several files in the tooth and blamed me for waiting too long to get a root canal. He had me rush to a surgeon who charged substantially more and sat in a chair for 4 more hours while they worked on getting out the files and a foreign object. Paid the surgeon and then received a bill from Dr. Bialko. When I called to tell him he couldn’t bill me, he said started screaming at me on the phone. Once I got a lawyer, the payment disappeared. This never would have happened with Dr. Davidson. Very much miss Dr. Brad.
This office is simply wonderful. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and get to work very quickly. Dr. Rob has a great sense of humor and puts you at ease. Hygienist is top notch. Highly recommend.
Dr. Davidson is highly professional and very personable and I have enjoyed going to his office for the past 15 years. If you are nervous about how comfortable you are going to be during our appointments with him, dont worry. The atmosphere in that office is excellent.
I have never before experienced a more caring, knowledgeable, professional and friendly Dentist. The office staff is also the most friendly and caring group I have ever experienced. No need to look futher in your search for dental services.. This is the best you will find !
The office was very nice as was the staff. We felt very comfortable speaking with Dr Bialko, he was thorough, kind, compassionate and humorous. But we couldn’t find the elusive parking attendant? A great experience. 😁
The staff bent over backwards to assist me with a referring appointment, a glitch in the payment process (my fault not theirs) and did so with a smile. Very impressive.
The only reason this dentist has great reviews is because of Dr Davidson. Dr Davidson since has retired and the new dentist Dr Bialko is terrible! He doesn’t know what he’s doing and he criticizes other dentists. My personal experience with him was terrible and I will never go back. Terrible! Stay away!!!

Dr Bialko is the best. He made me smile again and it was easy and painless. Girls in office are great and love my hygienist.

I am very pleased with Dr. Davidson and his great staff. I have been going to see him for over 20 years now and I never have to wait longer than 15 minutes to see the Doctor. They are so prompt.

2022-08-11My 7 year old had a toothache. I called the office and got an appointment the next day. The receptionist was friendly and helpful in making the appointment. The dentist put her at ease with his humor and his assistant was wonderful. She ended up having a filling. Ever part of the visit was handled perfectly!! A scary situation for a child, was turned into a great visit. I would highly recommend this office!!

2022-08-15Dr. Rob and his current staff are TOPS. Dr. Rob is probably the most charismatic individual I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He is extremely easy to talk with and explains questions in common sense terms. I will soon be undergoing some extensive dental work and have great confidence in Dr. Rob in that he will ensure everything done is 100% perfect.

2022-04-06Dr. Bialko was able to calm the fears of my son who is terrified of needles. He was able to have his cavity filled without any pain medication. He did a wonderful job!

2021-10-31Going to the dentist is never fun, however, Dr Bialko changes that. You feel comfortable from the minute you walk into the office. His chair side manner puts you at ease. He is knowledgeable and talks to you straight. I would highly recommended him for any of your dental needs. Professional, Caring, with a sense of humor.

2021-08-27I can genuinely say that visiting this office changed my life. I have extreme dental anxiety. I have avoided the dentist for the last 10+ years because of this. I know how important routine visits are, so I got the courage to visit this office based on other reviews, and I am so glad that I did. Deidre (the hygienist) is kind, compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable. I did not feel judged one time by her, but she also was not afraid to let me know (politely and factually) the things about my routine that I could change for the better. She explained what she was doing every step of the way, and did everything she could to be kind about my nervousness. Doctor Bialko is the kindest doctor I have ever met. He is compassionate, warm, and welcoming. He took the time to go over my visit information thoroughly in a way that I would understand. He answered every question I had for him and made sure I didnt have any others prior to ending the appointment. Debra was also extremely helpful from the first time I called the office to set the appointment up as a new patient. Scooby is just the top of the cake that makes it all that much better. I am so happy to have found this office. I am not sure if my anxiety will ever completely go away, but I can say with confidence that this is the first office where I will keep my routine appointments. I am so thankful for the team at Dr. Bialkos office.

2019-08-16My whole experience with this office was fantastic. I was right on schedule which was very refreshing for a change. . Every person I encountered was friendly and courteous. The hygienist was gentle but thorough and very instructive. Dr. Bialko was awesome. I never thought that a dentist appointment would be fun, but he made me laugh out loud. This was a test drive! I am happy say that I have found my new dentist!

2021-03-28I told the office members several times that if my bill were to go on my credit report, I would be suing. Dr Bialko is charging me late fees for services I did not receive! I was no longer going to his office after he held my daughter down to the chair with her hoodie and sprayed water at her. My younger daughter would have to keep returning for fillings because she had “cavities” and agin thought he was being playful but really he’s very inappropriate/unprofessional. Every time we returned for a service there was new staff. The secretary violated HIPPA several times, messed up appointments continuously, and was always very unorganized/unprofessional. I would give a negative five if I could!
