Finns has always done good work for me. Theyve never shied away from answering my questions (even stuff I was just curious about), and they do a great job of keeping you informed at every stage of the work. Ive never felt pressured to have them do more work than I was comfortable with and theyve been straightforward with the pros and cons of delaying big expensive work. They are very flexible with drop offs too. Overall, a very good garage to have work done at.
I can not say enough about the quality professionalism and great value at Finns Automotive! I dropped my car off the night before and it was done first thing the next morning...they even wiped down and vacuumed out my car.I will be using them for all my Automotive repairs and maintenance from now on.
I brought my car in with engine light on. Finns said they were familiar with my car though it is no longer made. They gave me a ride home so I could leave my car. The next day they called me and all was resolved at a reasonable price! These mechanics know what they are doing and are honest.
Ive been going to Finns for over 5 years and I wont go anywhere else! Theyre easy to work with, courteous, knowledgeable and honest. I like the fact that they take the time to explain the issues and theyre reasonable in regards to price. All of my extended family now goes to Finns and none of us have ever been disappointed. Asked for a noon finish and was prioritize and delivered. Cleaned interior and installed set of wiper blades that I bought on line and left in back seat to get around doing. No extra charge! Superior service indeed. Will return and highly recommend Finns Automotive.
I went to Finns for my NYS Inspection... honestly I wasnt happy with the service overall due to a variety of reasons but I was impressed with how they responded when I voiced my concerns. They handled things well and seemed to genuinely care about the experience I had and how it could be improved so that says a lot

Finns is one of the best places to go for with any car problems and get work done on it. They are the most honest car shops I know that will give you a honest opinion about your car. I have been to other places to have my car worked on and they never do the correct job that needs to be fixed and costs more then what the real problem was in the first place. I only take my cars to Finns now because I trust the mechanics there to do the correct job on my car and make sure it’s running just like new when I got it from the dealer. My Fiancé car wasn’t driving correctly and running too. I had it towed to them the mechanic said to me that there could be more internal engine things once we get into it. They gived me a quote and wasn’t overly expensive at all was much less than I expected. I am so happy to know I can trust one shop to trust to work on my cars in the Rochester area. I tell everyone to go to them all the time. And most people that know me know when I say this trust me because I’m very picky about who touches my cars and work on them. No appointment took my chance on a last minute call. They said bring it in. Just went in for an oil change before heading out for a roadtrip. Got a call about the inspection expiring soon. When I picked up my vehicle the advised they found no other issues. I got into my vehicle and quickly realized they had detailed the inside. Wiping all surfaces and vacuuming and deodorizing. What a pleasant surprise! THANK YOU!

Finn’s was extremely considerate to me. I needed a NYS inspection. I had no appointment. I needed it right away because I’m going in for surgery. They took me right away. They were done in a timely manner. I was so grateful.

We were looking for a service center closer to our home, as we are now in Webster. We had been servicing our vehicles at a great Toyota dealership out on the westside, where we once resided, and where we purchased our SUVs.So, in our search locally, a friend / neighbor whos from the area, mentioned Finns as a business whos been servicing residents of Webster for many years, and were of good standing, etc. Thats how we come to know of Finns, and started our relationship in servicing of our vehicles.I was impressed with our first service experience at Finns, with the professionalism and friendliness of their staff. Subsequently, we had our second visit for other work. Again, we were content with the overall experience, and as a result, knew we would continue with them, for years to come.Its nice to know theyre there for you. I had an opportunity to meet the owner during our second service visit, and hes committed to serve you, with the utmost care and respect a customer deserves.Lastly, you have access to their website where you can setup an account to access history of work done, etc.Highly recommend them for your service needs.
They went above & beyond helping me get my car to them & then back to me. I felt as though they even accommodated my tight time frame in needing my car back. Their quality & attention to detail does not go unnoticed.
They plugged a hole in my tire. But when I picked my car up, as i was driving away i realized they cleaned up the inside, vacuumed the floor mats and cleaned the windows!! I couldnt believe it. Way above and beyond service. I will be using Finns in the future for sure.
Always a great place to take my cars for service. This is a location where they can do NYS inspections for Teslas as well since Tesla Service Center wont do them.Will go to again with other car maintenance needs

Have been here three times in the last year with two different vehicles. Was first referred to by my boss; in all three visits, Finns Garage did repair work I requested at a fair cost. Hard to find reputable garages that wont rip you off; cant say enough about Finns.

These guys rock. On my very first visit I went in for an alternator (which I supplied, they had no problem with that) and on top of installing it they gave me a rundown of the good/bad/ugly on my 99 Infiniti right on the bill in the comments section.I mostly do the maintenance on that clunker, so a lot of the things they reported were not news to me, but I was surprised by how attentive and communicative they were on the car as whole (especially considering it only came in for an alt). These guys are car doctors, and so far as I can see they keep good records and practice holistic medicine 👍
They were able to fix a tire issue when the vehicle was decelerating. The service was done promptly and professionally. Highly recommend.
Any time Ive been there for service theyve been very accommodating and speedy. Never tried to get me to do any extra work on my vehicles. Today they tipped me off to a potential problem with my car without trying to let them fix it, as they figured rightly that the car might be still under warranty.

Owner Kevin Finn of multi-generation family business is attentive, courteous professional and willingly helpful. Five bay facility with comfortable waiting area located in the pleasant Village of Webster. Only holding back the last star until I actually get significant work completed here.
Worst garage I have been to.Went in because I was getting a bad misfire even after spark plug replacement. Check engine light on.$1,290. later, they replaced the intake manifold.After getting the car back, I discovered they over charged me $201.53 for a part they got at Autozone. This is the exact part I asked about and they told me they dont like this preticular brand. I trusted them to use there better $450 part later to find out I just got the same part that cost John Doe $249.99 at Auto ZoneThey also told me they would install motorcraft wires. they charged me for motorcraft wires but installed some cheap garbadge.Car now smells like burning oil, never did before this repair.They did not fill the coolant up all the way. It was full when I left it for service.Am still getting a check engine light.After contacting them about this, they said it is typical to over charge $200 for a part.If you are stupid, dont care about money, like getting lied to, want crap parts, and have all the time in the world to get your car fixed, GO HERE!

They wouldnt ever give straight answers about my car, and ended up doing another $500 worth of work without asking us beforehand. My engine light also went on again about a week after the problem was fixed. I would never go back again.

2022-06-06Was referred to Finns by a friend. Very nice garage with friendly people. They were able to fit me in for an inspection with in 30 minutes. Mechanic who worked on my car was nice to talk to about Dodges. Garage is bigger than it appears front the front, six bays I believe. Nice waiting room with a lot of gas pump signs lighted up.

2021-12-14We have been going to Finns for many years. Why? Because they are trustworthy and do excellent work. They are very accommodating. Throughout this pandemic they have delivered our vehicles to our house when it helped us feel safe. We appreciate that Kevin always wears a mask when dealing with his customers!

2022-02-17I have found a new place to bring my car!! I had to wait for my car when I got an inspection. It was really fast. The guy behind the counter was very nice also. It was also Valentines Day, and they gave me a rose!! I will definitely be back!!!

2021-09-08I brought my car in without an appointment, but they were all able to take a look at it that day. They were getting accommodating with my schedule, and got my brake lights fixed same day. They even stayed after close to get my car taken care of.I am incredibly pleased with the quality of service I received at Finns Automotive!

2021-06-24I have used Finns Automotive services for years. I have always found them to be responsive to my needs, explaining things thoroughly and doing the work I needed at a fair price. (Note that I am experienced in doing many repairs myself, so I have a better than average understanding here.). They are truly an asset to our local community and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

2021-06-18I brought my 08 Jeep into Finns a couple weeks back as my vehicle was having a hard time turning over. Initially they got it running for a while (for transportation to work) until the root of issue was ultimately found and completely fixed. Thankfully all has been well since then however it’s important for me to share my experience here.The entire staff and mechanic serving my vehicle were all extremely polite and professional. I was treated with respect and kindness and I genuinely appreciated it. I’ve just moved out to this area so this was my first time serving my vehicle though Finns. My final repairs were fairly priced and under no circumstances did I feel like was being “misinformed or taken advantage of”I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my vehicle back or any other for that matter. For the simple fact that the service was absolutely great, the price was extremely fair, and the entire staff were all polite and professional.
