Very poor service. I would give zero star if there is such a option!I purchased lifetime tire balance and alignment at this Firestone. But when I come to use my lifetime service, it takes forever for them to do the service for me! When I checked in at the time of appointment, I was told the wait time for car to be pulled in was 30 minutes and the service takes two and half hour. But after 1.5 hours, my car was still sitting outside. Store manager then claimed that he said the waiting time was two hours. I don’t see how possible is it for me to mess up with half hour by two. Fine, I didn’t argue too much about it. But after two and half hours, my car was sitting outside waiting! Asked again, this time, surprisingly, the store manager said that they are backed off a little and asked me to reschedule the appointment?! After waiting for two hours, got nothing done! Now I was asked to reschedule the appointment? If firestone can not serve that many customers, then don’t take that amount of the appointment! I insisted to get the job done in the same day. At the end, simply the tire balance and alignment takes me five hours!A year after the first poor service, I did my tire balance and alignment again at the same store. That’s the huge mistake! Same thing happened again!Never buy life time service from Firestone any more. Without seeing the payment when you come back for the service, they don’t treat you like a regular customer.
They are great here! They will do whatever they can to help you out price wise and get it done on a very timely manner! Damien and the rest of the crew are great, I come here all the time and even with bad credit/fair credit I was able to get the Firestone finance card!
I come here a few times a year for maintenance. I am always impressed with how professional and on top of things the employees are. I am always able to get an appointment quickly, I receive updates on the status and if there are additional fees for extra work within a timely manner. Every guest is always greeted quickly when they walk in the door. I am a woman who doesn’t know a ton about cars. There are many times I ask for a breakdown or explanation about suggested services or work being suggested. The employees here always are very patient and happy to explain everything in detail. I am never treated like I am stupid or I should know this. If I decline the work I am never treated poorly and there are never passive aggressive comments made. The staff here should be commended on doing a great job on the vehicles and also for outstanding customer service. I definitely recommend to others in the future.
Great customer service!! I made an appointment for a NYS inspection at this location, or so I thought. It turns out I made the appointment at a completely different company. Anthony was very nice and despite MY mistake, he still took my car for the inspection even though they didn’t have to. The inspection took about an hour and I was called right away when it was done. They definitely went above and beyond in my book! I will definitely be back in the future!!
Stopped in on the off chance that they had windshield wiper fluid for sale and they did not. However the man that was taking care of me said not to worry and that they would fill it up for me for free. I just gave them my information and got me out of there within 5 minutes free of charge. Never been to Firestone but it’s definitely where I’ll be going from now on for tires.
I used this location before with good results. After yesterday, I will NEVER be back. 10 am appointment for oil change and a slow leak tire.4 hours......4 hours later, I finally got my car. At one point the car was out and they told me they still had to do an alignment....only they didnt need to (this took an hour). Last he gives me a card for a free oil change.....IF I APPLY FOR A CREDIT CARD!!!....NOPE
Friendly staff who are willing to work with you and your schedule. I went in for an alignment and they have the option to purchase lifetime alignments, which is pretty worthwhile if you have a car with a lot of past damage like myself. There were some issue on my car I was not aware of which they informed me about and allowed me to see with my own eyes. Also the lobby is clean and comfortable!
Great customer service, timely repairs. I appreciate how the techs and Mark take the time to explain what’s going on with your vehicle to remedy- and preventive measures/what to keep an eye on when you leave. Price to repair is competitive, always lower than what we expect, and the no interest for 6 months with the Firestone card makes it all feasible. Thanks guys.
So I went online to purchase tires and check prices and decided to try Firestone because I am new to the buffalo area and I needed tires before the snow started. They have an out the door calculator so I figured that would be the price when I get there it is 30$ more than the price I expected to pay. I hope they honor the quoted price I need a new auto shop and this is close to my home. We will see I guess if they do they deserve 5 stars since they had these tires brought here for me specifically!Edit They did honor the price for me.

Weve given this location several opportunities to earn our repeat business, but after 3 less than satisfactory visits in a row, I just cant recommend you bring your car here for even simple services. We brought 2 vehicles in for alignments and both had to be taken to another shop to have the alignments corrected the following day. We took 1 vehicle here for an oil change, and they cracked the oil pan. The final straw was taking the same vehicle here for a flat repair and being told over the phone that there was no wait, and then having to wait 2 hours for them to get the car pulled into a bay. The technical expertise and customer service at this location are far below average.
I went in for tire rotation, front end alignment and inspection. I was told I needed wiper blades to pass inspection, including the rear wiper. I asked if I needed the rear wiper for inspection as the one on my previous car never even worked and I never had an issue, guy told me yes you need the back one too. I didn’t think about it at the time but since this went so far downhill I looked it up and you do not need it to pass inspection. So I was lied to for profit. The three other things that happened: when I got my car back the steering wheel was visibly shaking at higher speeds. they didn’t check my air pressure; which is supposed to be included with a tire alignment per their website. And later on that day when I tried to use my windshield washer fluid I only had one windshield wiper on my car, they never put one on my passenger side. I purchased a lifetime front end alignment but I will not be using a firestone again. Congratulations, you got me.
This place is awesome! I was having a lot of car troubles (no power steering wheel, brakes bad, and 4 bad tires). Firestone came through to me. Tom was especially helpful. He explained everything to me in a way that I would understand it. The thing that I love about this particular location, is that you dont need an appointment. I had an emergency and everything was fixed for me under four hours. This is definitely my go to place for my future car troubles.If youre having car troubles, call Tom and hell take good care of you.I definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of repairs.
Very frustrated. Took my car to the shop for the 1st winter I moved back in 2018. I asked for year round tires and they put snow tires on my vehicle!! I had no idea they were snow tires and kept having air leaks on the front left tire every other month. Kept going back to get air and they kept insisting they were year round tires. They finally said at a visit today that the tires are definitely snow tires and we didnt buy the road warranty! So they screwed me out of money for a set of tires I DID NOT ASK FOR!!!!
Wow! This is my second time going here for my car and what an outstanding job! They let me come in immediately for an something I needed done on my car and it seemed like i was in and out of there in no time at all. I also mentioned a small thing last minute was hanging form the bottom of my car and they fixed it in 2 minutes. Thank you guys! 10/10
Took my vehicle to the dealer and they replaced the front strut. When I picked the vehicle up I found that the vehicle was pulling to the left and out of alignment. I took my vehicle to Firestone and the guys there did an awesome job and now my vehicle drives straight again.Thank you Firestone for fixing my vehicle right the first time.
I loved going to this location when one of the managers was Chad. Since he is no longer there I have experienced a few issues. In the summer of I 2018 had my sway bar links replaced and bought 4 new bridgestone tires. When I went for my state inspection in July 2019 I specifically asked if I needed an alignment and I was told no.Last month I went back because my car was running loud and there was a rattling noise coming from the rear. I was asked to leave my car overnight so that theyll have enough time to look at really good.The next day a rep called me and said I need a alignment, 2 new tires, new sway bar links, a air filter and that they did not even check the reason why the car was running loud!!! Oh that sounds like a transmission problem , we dont fix those here.I will be going to a different shop.
Seem like a group of nice people... that said, their time management skills are lacking. There is no reason to wait over 3 hours for a tire rotation & inspection. Everything done by them with exception of inspection could be done at home in the driveway in less time with less tools & equipment. Sorry fellas but I wont be a repeat customer... Youre a tad too far beyond your 45min estimated completion time.
I came in yesterday for tires and they said I needed an appointment. I made one for 10am this morning. I came and dropped it off, they said it would be ready in an hour to an hour and a half. I walked to the mall across the street and hung out. After two and a half hours they still hadnt called me, so I went in to check on it. They still hadnt moved it from the parking spot I parked it in this morning. I waited in their waiting area for another hour before they tried to take it in. They couldnt take it back because the battery is dead. Its a newer battery, and theres never been any problems with it, I didnt have any problems with it this morning. I didnt have the lights on or anything running that couldve killed the battery while it was sitting there. They jumped it and took it back but they said I need a new battery. Its almost 2pm, they still havent changed my tires.
This is the final straw. I made an appointment a couple months ago. They called me 3 hours before my appointment and told me they were too busy to take me. I figured I’d give them another chance. I made an appointment at 3:00pm. I dropped my car off a couple mins before 3:00. They told me it would be ready in a couple hours. It was an hour and half before they even brought my car into the shop and then left it on the lift for another 30 mins before they started working on it. Almost 4 hours for “tire specialists” is unacceptable, no? The people are friendly at least? I’m not sure about the work flow here but it doesn’t seem right. They lost my business.
Took my car in to buy a tire and remove my snow tires to put on all seasons. I went in with a quiet car and now there is a clunking and creaking noise coming from the back. I took it back there today and was told it wasnt them and refused to help and pushed me out the door. I have never been so disrespected and will NEVER recommend anyone to go here.
I have taken my car here many times. This last time I got the usual oil change and tire rotation. Well we noticed my car was leaking oil so we took it into a shop to be looked at. Whoever did the oil change at Firestone did not close the drain plug all the way. There was no oil on the dipstick and the oil change was just a month ago. Thankfully we caught it before any damage but I am not happy. Will not be going back.
Ive been going to this firestone since 1991. Since TJ and Ron have left it has gone downhill. Had a scheduled appt. ( made over a week prior)They were not going to be able to get car done for over 4+hours. This was just to put snow tires on. Last time they didnt put enough air in tires and forgot to do oil change. Im done with this location. Have had too many problems in the last two years with them
Good tires at a decent price.Firestone quoted me around half of what everyone wanted for an a/t tire for my truck.They did take entirely too long. I also wasnt happy with their attempt to upsell me either.Have the alignment checked Was done two days before.Serpentine belt condition severe Brand new.Air cleaner severe Brand new.Spark plugs severe Two week old Bosch double platinums.Bottom line, know your vehicle because they obviously wont. Good rubber though!
Manager/salesman/overeater hustled my wife. She went for an inspection and came home with new tires. The vehicle is less than 2 years old! We all know that females are taking advantage of but this is too much. Id love to see Firestone on hidden camera show. Or if you have an appointment to record it on your cell phone that would be great. This has to come to an end. We might have a female president but Firestone will rob anyone. To all FIRESTONE STORES WE HAVE CELLPHONES WITH CAMERAS AND MICROPHONES! You can get away with this forever.
We were shopping for tires for an older pickup. Since it isnt used on a daily basis, we didnt need top of the line tires we would normally but for our other vehicles, but wanted ones that would suit our needs. TJ spent time with us explaining the options that would best suit our needs. We trust Firestone for all our vehicles and drive 40 miles just for that peace of mind. We are and have been satisfied customer since 1980s. Its worth the extra drive knowing your vehicles will be in great running condition. Maintenance is key! Go visit TJ at the McKinley (Buffalo) shop or your local Firestone. You wont be disappointed!
I came into firestone at the Mckinley mall location on my day off to get my trucks oil change, tires rotation and a basic check up before the Buffalo Ny harsh winter arrives. I am so impressed by the gentle man (Josh) that checked me in . Not just the way he spoke with me but also the way he interacted with other customers. I just met the man and I would trust his recommendations. Thanks for hiring such competent people.
Went in for my car to be aligned and after keeping my car for two hours, they told me I needed over $1,000 of work before it could be aligned. That being said, I went elsewhere today and got it done in 45 minutes for $76. Nothing else was needed. I guess me being a young female they assumed I didnt know anything about cars.
This is my second visit to this location within a two month period. Service was fairly good. Unfortunately for me having a light grey interior in my car, every visit they managed to leave grease marks on my interior. Wish they would respect customers property a little bit better.
Made an appointment to have my car inspected on monday when I arrived went in to drop my car off and stood in the office area for approximately 15 minutes now mind you there was an employee standing there never once asked to help me I had to ask for assistance once manager came out to talk he said they were too busy to do my car that day so I had to wait till today at 11 I pulled in parking lot as soon as I got out of my car he met me in the middle of the lot to tell me that he will not inspect my car due to it being a 67 camaro as show car and he was not comfortable doing it even though this company inspected it last year so I waited 48 hrs to be turned away twice this establishment will no longer receive any type of business from me any longer unprofessional I have never heard of such a thing like refusing to make money off of a customer dissatisfied

2021-12-08Took my truck in for an alignment and the technician took the easy way out and only adjusted the toe as the camber was out of spec and untouched. I was given the poor excuse that the reservoir on my shock was blocking the bolts that adjust camber. I walked out to my truck after and took these pictures. Didnt even have to jack up my truck or turn the wheel. It can be clearly seen that there is plenty of access to these bolts on either side and the reservoir is no where near them. This is a poor excuse. The technician was just lazy and wanted to get paid for a full alignment job while only doing toe. I am an ASE certified master technician and know exactly how a proper alignment is done. What is the point of paying extra for a lifetime alignment at a shop where the technicians are not qualified to do a proper alignment.

2022-07-11I have used Firestone in many different states and this has to be the worst for customer service. Called asking for an appointment this weekend; placed on hold for 35 minutes (please just tell a person to call back if you are that busy) and then hung up the phone on me!! Then I put in for a appointment online, received and email that This Firestone tried to contact me HMMM NOPE no they didnt! But seems they cant ever schedule anyone. I had tried to called a couple times as well and never picked up. Definitely will not be using this Firestone anytime soon as it seems they need training on how to care for customers!!

2022-04-21Got tires put on that I already had ready to go and a alignment. They never synced the tire pressure sensor. Also, they never tighten the right lower control arm rear adjuster bolt and it came out. Very disappointed

2022-04-02Had an appointment to do an alignment and refused last minute because I told him I was old mechanic and actually wanted him to do a true alignment and not rip me off. Doing real work scared him and he broke our appointment. So now the Firestone up the street is gonna help me

2022-01-12I been taking my BMW at the McKinley mall location for years and somehow depending on WHO answers the phone, they will fix my issue. Now, I get it that there are some issues related to the software that cant fix by these mechanic chain shops. I get that. But depending on WHO answers the phone to honor my issue THEY WILL FIX ANY OTHER ISSUE. I needed my heater fixed due to it blowing out cold air. So the manager by the name of MARK always has an extremely serious issue anytime BMW is brought up. It can be as simple as a windshield wiper replacement and he will reject to fix it. Unreal. And Its ONLY MARK. Other workers there have fixed my issues on my BMW. So I called and luckily someone else (John) answered the phone and I explained the issue and luckily he told me he specializes working on BMWs. He scheduled my appointment to look at it. An urgent matter came up and I had to reschedule. I called and MARK answered and of course he wouldnt reschedule my appointment and I explained to him that John said he would work on it and Mark wouldnt budge. I explained to Mark that Ive had my BMW worked on by John and others with my wear and tear issues i.e. brakes pads, rotors, tires, fuel pumps, oil change, etc. and he got loud and rude and and hung up in my face. The other workers are fine especially Damion and will always give the benefit of the doubt to at LEAST look at it and will end up fixing it 99.9% of the time so long as it isnt a software issue. MARK will hurt their business so long as he continues these extreme measures of biases. And heres the kicker....wait for it....THE OTHER FIRESTONE FIXED IT!! You cant make this sh!t up!!

2022-02-19Came here to get an alignment, dude didn’t listen at all, didn’t do anything I asked, did the complete opposite side he was asked to do. If you can’t do what I payed you to do you shouldn’t be a mechanic. It’s not your vehicle you don’t get to pick and choose what you do to my vehicle when I come in. I would never come back to a Firestone, especially this location and I will definitely tell other people to stay away from this scam of a shop.

2021-10-02They charge you to plug tires that are under warranty.When the tire blows at 40,000 miles but has a 60,000 mile warranty the same tires cost twice as much as they did when you first bought them, even at the prorated rate under the supposed warranty.They sell you a lifetime brake package for $1000 and then less than a year later tell you its going to be $700+ for new rotors when you come back to have your brakes serviced under that warranty.It takes an entire business day to put on 2 new tires and do an oil change.I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. If you choose to use them do your research, so youre educated enough to not be taken advantage of, call other places for pricing. Every other shop in the area is guaranteed to beat their prices.

2021-06-21Brought my car in on a Saturday because it was making some funky noises… got it looked at same day and Damion made sure to show me exactly what was going on with my car. He got me info on what I needed done and I got my car back in excellent working condition two days later (felt like I was driving a new car!). Great experience and service, will definitely be making return trips when my car needs servicing in the future
