Brought my vehicle in at 7am for a damaged CV joint on the axle, they called me up at 10am to tell me that the mechanic said there was nothing wrong with the car. I had to go back and show him by holding the brakes down while I switched the car from drive to reverse. We heard the classic clicking noise that occur when the axle is messed up. They called me 3 hours later and told me they didnt know if it was the axle or the transmission and they didnt want to take a chance and be wrong.
Only 2 good things about this place, close to home and open late for inspection. BUT VERY SLOOPY WITH WORK. I did my inspection and they removed my old sticker but did not bother removing old glue to replace with new one. Instead they left a gap between my registration and new sticker. looks ridiculous I tell you. In between both stickers is one big glue square. PLEASE STEP YOUR GAME UP. I was there 2 years ago for alignment and they gave me the worst attitude so I walked off!
Update 11/20/18: Today I found out that this location lies to their customers. I purchased a lifetime alignment three years ago, and I have been coming here once a year to get my alignment. My first initial alignment came with a print out results of before and after. After the initial payment visit, this location had stated that the printer is broken when I asked for the result report. Then today, before I gave them my number (to look up my account) I asked if the alignment comes with a printout result because I need it for my manager (made up an excuse), they stated: “Yes it does.” I gave them my phone number, and they saw it was a lifetime alignment. I waited and saw that the person before me came for the same service, they got a printout. I was next, and they stated the printer ran out of ink. Really? This location is full of it. They have been lying to me after the initial service. They see that this service has no charges, so they do not do it. Last year, I did notice that my car was still pulling, I called, and they stated that I must have hit a pothole on my way out. Whatever, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But now, I know they have been lying to me. I made a complaint to corporate; they will contact me in 48 hours. I urge everyone who experiences this issue to call and make a complaint on this location; they need to stop taking advantage of people and do honest work on their customers. PLEASE, EVERYONE, AVOID THIS LOCATION, THEY LIE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS.
Did not have a terrible experience, but service couldve been faster. Waited almost 2 hours to get my tires balanced and mounted?! It seems like the workers there are very lax. Hector did help me get a deal for a set of Bridgestone All season tires for my car which were way overdue.
The front desk receptionist was great and polite however, I dont know if its the lack of mechanics or quality of the ones they do have but to get my brakes checked took half a day(well for them NOT to get checked). I did get my emissions test done timely manner but thats as far as I would recommend this place for.
This used to be my go to place for anything I needed with my car. That is until yesterday. Went in with an appointment to get my car horn fixed as well as an inspection done on my vehicle. Told the guy at the desk what I was there for and he said to give him one second to check on it, and he proceeded to ignore me for the next 25 minutes. At one point I was wondering where he went when I saw the same person sweeping the parking lot. He never said another word to me while I stood at the desk and waited. At one point he came back to the desk, clicked some keys on the computer, and then went to the back again and simply sat there and was presumably reading the newspaper for all I could tell. I finally walked out and left, went to a different place and got the best service ever. Ill be taking my business there from now on. Thanks for nothing!
Balancing 4 tires. 3 times in a week and cant get them really balanced. 3 hour + wait every time. end up gave up their B. S. warranty and spent another $45 get it done in half an hour next door. they are slow and do not know what they are doing. cant even do a tire balancing! they will make you wait for hours until you give up their B.S. guarantee.
If you value your car, do not take it here! They are the absolute worst. I brought my 2015 Fusion Titanium AWD in for the lifetime alignment and tire balancing. I knew my alignment was off because the steering wheel pulled to the left. I made an appointment for 10am and I was there on time. The guy at the front desk, Hector, said that it would take an hour and a half. I waited for three hours! Finally, Hector came back and said that my car was ready and apologized for taking so long. He said that they aligned my car as a front wheel drive initially and ultimately had to align it a second time because their expert mechanics didnt take the time to check or even ask me. So I took my car and left. When I got on the highway, my steering wheel started shaking over 60mph. It never shook before! I was so angry. They took twice as long as they promised and my car drove worse than when I brought it in! To add insult to injury, they chipped/scratched 3 of my wheels! It wasnt curb rash. It was in the center. It looks like when they tightened the lugs, the wrench slipped and chipped my rims. I called customer service and they said that the claims supervisor will try to expedite my claim since I have to travel with my car soon. Never again will I trust Firestone Tires, Car Care or anything affiliated with them!
Only 2 of the 4 things that I asked to get done was completed. I asked at dropoff if I would get a call when the car was ready and was told yes. I had to call to find that the car was ready. Once I arrived only the tire was fixed. They were supposed to check and top up the fluids, check if the tires needed to be rotated and change all the windscreen wipers. Will more than likely not use this location again.
Non sense. Bad workers doing very bad service. My car brakes had noise, they serviced it with only cheap and fake material and the problem Got worse. I went back to them and they had nothing to say about it just sitting there looking at me like a poppet rained on. Very disappointing. I don’t recommend anyone to this place at all..
They used to have great service, what a shame. They tell you 1 hour but you will be there waiting for up to 3 hours( appointment does not matter)..very slow!!! After my oil change, check engine light came on?! They told me its cuz my car is old. I went somewhere else and they fixed it by opening my gas cap. After changing the headlight bulb, it blew within a week. I called, they told me just to stop by after work, whn i got there they said....oh sorry busy, cant do it now, come another day! Really?!! They dont take any responsibility. Save ur time & money and go somewhere else
Came in with my left tire deflating. When I got there tire still had air. Made me wait one hour. By then the tire deflated and they drove my car like that causing my rim to bend now because of this my car pulls to the left. After that they tell me they dont have the tires and put on my spare and send me on my way. One hour for nothing and they damaged my wheels. Wow.
I brought my 2015 CTS in for tire replacement after 2 years of my 3 year lease. I asked for my original tires to be replaced , which were run flats . After a year of owning my tires I got a flat and realized that the tires they gave me were not run flats . I went back and spoke to the manager Hector Rodriguez and explained the circumstances and Hector was very rude and started by saying that he wasnt here then and that I should have read the receipt . Then he said he was willing to replace the tires but he would have charge me for the prorated usage on the tires that they mistakingly sold me . I replied that it was not fair because I would not have change those tires for my upcoming lease return if they were actually runflats as I asked for to begin with . Hector would not make good on his stores error . I explained over and over that the dealer will not accept those tires because they are not run flats but the treading was still acceptable and that I wouldnt have to change all the tires again if they did not make that mistake . Hector continued to be arrogant and would not make good . Very poor custumer service and management on Hectors part . Stay away from this place .
I went in for a wheel alignment and tire balancing. They recommended I get new tires saying the ones I had were severely feathered. Ok. After the work was completed and Im finally leaving the shop, I hear a noise coming from the back of the vehicle. Mind you, they usually test drive the car but the worker tried NOT to test drive it until we mentioned it. However, I hadnt heard this noise BEFORE getting new tires. So I brought my car back so they could fix it. They ended up changing the tire after they rotated it to the front and still heard the noise. I was in this place for a complete work day! 937AM until after 5PM. I thought everything was ok but this noise later returned. The more I drive and the more I press down on the breaks, the louder the noise gets. I thought, maybe if I drive it for a while it will go away. Not the case. So I called them and brought my car back today. Now I am told it is my breaks that is the problem. My breaks were FINE when I came in for a wheel alignment that later became new tires. With labor and the price of the tires the cost is TOO MUCH MONEY for you to try to charge me for something else that YOU CAUSED. Sometimes I feel you see a woman and think you can just charge/do anything and its ok. Well its not. Money does not grow on trees. I am so annoyed and disappointed. SMH. Pissed-off!!!
I live in Jersey but grew up in the Bronx. Came to this location a few years back as a matter of convenience being that I am a Firestone card holder. Next to my main store in Hackensack, these guys are excellent. Sean and Hector are professional in everything they do. Firestone overall is a great company but the workers make a difference in the quality of service. Tahoeman04..... Just to add to this old review but spoke with another manager by the name of Chris. Gotta say it seems professionalism is the mantra of this location. Thanks in advance for your attentiveness regarding the issue I had. Still proud to be a firestone member.

2022-03-11Came in for a full set of tires, John was very helpful. You can set appointment or do a walk in and wait in line. If they don’t have the tires you need they can order most of them next day. Get the lifetime wheel alignment .. it’s 199$ , but worth every penny, you can get a alignment every 3 months for life ..it will help the tires last longer. The waiting area can use a update . In and out in 2 hours , 4 tires and wheel alignment.

2022-05-10Place is a rip off!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE WOMAN! Told them I was concerned as my newly purchased car had dried battery acid on it. They told me the saw a little residue and the battery and car was fine. Also charged me $27 to lie in my face. Well turns out the battery was not fine! Took it to another mechanic. And sure enough stated I should lot have received car with this battery condition. And this place wrong for lying to me ! Only gave 2 stars because they had a restroom.

2022-02-21Please don’t go here, they’ll sell you low quality tires and do a shabby job for you, then tell you it’s not their fault. Also the manger with blue eyes is really rude and honestly should not be in the customer service sector with his disgusting and disrespectful attitude. Seriously, their materials and work is below average. Don’t waste your money here. Very bad quality and service

2021-12-10Unfortunately I had to trust going to Firestone and give them another opportunity to do the right job now I get told that the wheel alignment on my vehicle has to be done by a dealership. It is a 2013 Toyota Matrix I do not understand what that meant. Every issue Ive had I bring it to their management and nothing is ever being done about it

2018-02-15I brought my 2013 Hyundai Genesis here for service my first time at this location for a wheel alignment was happy when I left .. professional staff and honest mechanics now 5 years down the line Im here for my second visit for my 2015 Hyundai Genesis i recommend this place if your in the area or a little out the way trust its worth your time and money....

2021-10-12This is an update of my review at first everything was okay because They were receiving money, I bought two tires and I paid alignment with warranty for 1 year paying over $700 but the problem came when I had my vehicle to general inspection the alignment failed only 4 weeks after the service so I went to the office and when I explained it to the same happy guy at first,he totally changed to upset, mad, I had to tell him why he was acting like that, Why offer a service that you are not willing to fulfill? Then he said he was busy, I told ok give me an appointment within two day he told me ok come at 10:00 on Tuesday I requested to be early to be not to late for work but he told me he had something at that time so I went at 10:00 am and they make wait after an hour of wait I decided to go without the service I am entitled to receive because I paid for it,at the end I requested and received a refund for the alignment. but I lost my time!!!and half of the day at work

2020-10-30They do not know how to organize the flow of work at all. Had a 10am appointment, It took over 4.5 hours to replace two tires and align. They didnt have the tool needed to replace a valve on a tire pressure sensor so I got charged for a whole new sensor. What kind of shop doesnt have every size torque bit at their disposal? I love Firestone. Will drive to any other Firestone before going back to this location.

2020-10-08Took my vehicle in to have tires purchases online installed and have state inspection performed. Dropped it off and went to work. Got a call 2 hours later starting the car was ready, but their inspection machine was down. Looked at my dash can a few hours later for something else and found an employee joyriding in my car. Reached out to corporate who contacted the district manager. Never heard from the district manager and had to reach back out to corporate which finally triggered a call from the store. Their resolution was to refund what I paid of hanging the tires (which was included in the package I purchased online from a third party company). Went to the store and the manager behind the desk gave me the biggest attitude to give me the refund like I did something wrong. Youre better off going to Mavis down the road.
