Aasad is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I have ordered floral/plant arrangements several times from Floras to be delivered to family and friends. During the pandemic when stores were closed, Aasad had sent me pictures of arrangements so I knew exactly what I was sending. The customer service is A+. I first started going to Floras after receiving an arrangement in 3/2020. It was just so different. Thank you for the smile your flowers have given in such crazy times.
We called to order 2x pieces for a funeral on a Friday afternoon. They were delivered to the funeral home by Saturday. The designer was patient, she listened to what I was looking for. She worked in our price range. The 2 pieces were the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen. We were from out of state. We didnt know who to call. We made the perfect decision to call Floras! Thank you for your professionalism and kindness.

It’s been almost a year and a half and still, every time we look at our wedding photos, the wedding cake and the ceremony decorations make us very upset. Because the flowers we ordered and had in our contract were completely different.We asked to decorate our cake with WHITE ROSES, we made a contract, we discussed it around 7-10 times, we had trials and took photos of that, and they still made them RED. (HOW?!)The owner didn’t come to the event to do that so she asked her employees to do everything for her. And they messed up every singe detail.The vases were short instead of long ones so we had to ask the place we had our wedding at, to give us theirs. Otherwise they wouldn’t be able to stay in those vases.They made the roses lay. LAY! Like it was funeral.The center pieces were decorated with Christmas lights where you could see wires all over the tables while we mentioned 1000 times that we wanted candles, not lights. It looked funny and not elegant.But even if it had looked great, everything was complete opposite from what we had been talking about.Everyone at the wedding was shocked how irresponsible they were.You have no idea how much stress we went through because of the stupid flowers. When we had to focus on each other.When we called them, they made us sound stupid like: “It’s not the most important thing on your wedding day. Enjoy the flowers you have”. I was shocked hearing that.They refused to return us even a penny. The only thing what they offer was sending us a bouquet after the wedding.I wouldn’t recommend them for such an important event as a wedding, anniversary or a birthday party. Save your nerves and protect yourself from the stress we got. They’re not professionals.
I’m a little taken back by the customer service they gave to me for the prices they’re charging. I called early this week to have an arrangement delivered today to my mom for her birthday (the reason this isn’t one star is because the flowers are so beautiful) but i realized at around 11am my card was never charged for the flowers.. I called and the young guy who answered the phone told me that they are doing renovations and they are busy. I understand but also, I wasn’t told that when I ordered the arrangement says prior and I’m unsure how that’s the customer’s issue. I then called back at 3pm because I still had not been charged and I wanted the flowers there by 4pm. The same guy answered the phone, “I told you earlier it’s busy here we’re doing renovations.” I’m really aggravated at this point because for an $18 delivery fee and a $75 arrangement I don’t know why it’s my issue that you are having renovations done.. if it was so busy why are you open and taking phone orders? The flowers are beautiful and my mom is very happy with them but I’m pretty disappointed with the customer service and I’m concerned if I didn’t call to check on them (twice) they would’ve gotten forgotten about during their “busy renovations.” I don’t think it should ever be the client’s issue that you are doing renovations. If I’m paying near $100 with tax for an arrangement I expect customer service better then 1800flowers. If the flowers weren’t so beautiful I would be asking for some sort of refund. 🤷🏻♀️
Akvile was able to put together the most beautiful, unique arrangements for our wedding. We could not be happier with the results and the design she was able to create for us. She was able to capture our personalities and reflect them throughout her work. Her careful attention to detail and the hand-selected combination of flowers and greenery makes her stand out above the rest. I picked up flowers for my grandma and they arranged it so beautiful! I wanted to keep them for myself. I love their creativity and customer service. They are all so kind, especially Assad. I will definitely go again.
EDIT: After leaving this review, they called and offered to cover the delivery fee. They also said that they made the arrangement bigger than it was supposed to be. They also apologized again, so I appreciate that and the fact that they followed up.I ordered an arrangement online for Mothers Day and purposely chose the delivery date as Saturday in case the shop was overwhelmed that Sunday. Well, my flowers were never delivered so I called them the following Tuesday. They said it just slipped under their radar and offered to have them delivered that day. They didnt offer a discount or partial refund at all. They just said Slip ups happen. As I paid $70 for the arrangement, I was pretty annoyed. Will NOT be buying from them again.
Living out of state I was a little nervous about selecting a florist I had no experience with. I am delighted to report my experience with Floras was excellent. The woman I spoke with was so pleasant and helpful and the recipient of the bouquet described it as STUNNING! She sent me a photo and I agree! Great work Floras!!! Thank you!
A remarkable florist capable of distinctly original designs beautifully executed. Akvilla (not Flora) is the creative genius behind this little shop and I have been purchasing holiday and birthday arrangements from her for years. Highly recommend.
Everything they do is amazing. There is a lot of love that goes into each and every project. The Covid pandemic caused a scarcity in flowers that we really wanted for our engagement party. The team at Floras ave did everything they could to make our party beautiful with what was available at the time.
Wow - I have never been so pleased with a florist! Not only was the ordering process as easy as 1, 2, 3...but I received a personal email with a photo of the flowers arrangement. Unreal. Akvile was such a delight to work with. She was professional, responsive and asked great questions that helped her create a vision for our wedding day. Her artistic style is exquisite and romantic which is hard to come by with a lot of local floral vendors.The bouquets she made for me and my bridesmaids were stunning and were even more beautiful than I could have imagined for my wedding day. They were so carefully crafted, delicate, natural and were absolutely perfect! The boutonnieres for the groomsmen were tastefully done and looked great with the black tuxedos.When I walked into the room for the first time, the aisle decor and arch she created took my breath away, and made the day feel even more romantic and luxurious. Similarly, the ambiance in the reception room created the perfect atmosphere for our special day.After this experience I would trust Akvile and Floras Avenue with any of my floral needs for any and every occasion. The most beautiful flowers were designed for my Moms funeral-She did a rosary out of tiny rosebuds, a gorgeous casket spray, a stunning heart that was from grandchildren , stunning sprays and two pieces for my home. I am so happy I chose them!!
I found this place totally by accident and right before they were closing. They couldnt have been nicer in accommodating me. More importantly the way they prepare the packaging of the flowers is such a nice touch. They are totally floral artisans and when I presented the flowers the recipient was so pleased and that is why you buy flowers !
I ordered flowers to be delivered to my girlfriend a week ago and she still excited about it!. Her favorite flowers are orchids and calla lilies and they listened to my needs. I had very bad experience with other couple local florists to the point of instead of calla lilies, they would deliver a bunch of lilies with sticking greens. I am fortunate to find Floras Avenue, NYC quality and style, excellent customer service. Thank you!
This is the most beautiful flowers shop around Huntington! The owner is very talented, amazing young lady from Europe and she does unbelievable couture arrangements. She is very friendly and takes her time to know her customers and their needs. It is very pleasant atmosphere inside the shop; there are many unique gift items as well. The place is donned with exquisite, exotic and of a huge array of colors (the flowers); huge ceilings, stone pillars and the most beautilful flowers and gifts that were showcased on custom made cases and shelves. The owner I am certain must also dabble in interior design because the color/furniture/gift paper to the paint and wall paper completely gave Floras Avenue an aire of rich taste.The price was the best part! PERFECT. Got a huge fresh arrangement for my mum for a great price and was out of there in under 30 minutes. No regrets I LOVED IT.Mum - totally at a loss for words when she saw the arrangement through the beautiful gift wrapping. She didnt want to even take it out of the box that the vase was secured in. Just an overall amazing experience the owner took precious care with this arrangement for my mum and the cost was under my budget which was the best part!

I have been a customer of Floras Avenue since it opened in Huntington, I think 5 or so years ago. Akvile is extremely warm, talented and creative person, just walking into her store you can get a sense of her exceptional creativity, Akviles work is quite simply the best. Every arrangement is as gorgeous as the next, I would highly recommend visiting Floras Avenue, far and away the best shop in town :)

Jay was very helpful in assisting me with placing an order over the phone. All of the arrangements on their website look beautiful and creative, I told them my budget and decided to just leave the rest to their judgement. I can’t wait to see what the designers choice will look like!
We bought flower arrangement for a funeral, paid $100.00 and got the smallest arrangement Ive ever seen for that price. We were so embarrassed. It didnt look more than a fifty dollar arrangementNever again will I purchase from them

2022-01-21I was really looking forward to working with floras ave for centerpieces for a baby shower. I ordered a “mock centerpiece” to see if i liked them enough to order 15 for my shower. Upon ordering, i showed pictures of the color combination (shades of pink and some red) and flowers i was looking for and we went over the types of flowered that THEY suggested. Ranunculus, roses, spray roses, tulips, anemone and i mentioned i wanted a few garden roses. They gave us a price based on the size we needed and we paid. I knew i was not going to get exactly the picture i showed them because i needed a much smaller size. Upon pickup, i walked in and immediately they said oh, there isn’t supposed to be purple in this , so i waited for them to change out the purple colors. And because of this, the flowers weren’t open and there was so much space in the centerpiece. There was much more greenery than i anticipated and the colors were not what i asked for. There were also no roses or garden roses present. After speaking with the gentleman there, he explained that these would not be the same flowers i would be getting for my centerpieces, but the entire point of ordering a mock up was to see what they would look like before i order them so I’m not disappointed the day of. I spent 20 minutes on the phone with floras avenue stating my concerns and all they had to say was the flowers i wanted were pricier flowers and would cost me more money to have a more full centerpiece, but this was all previously discussed before they gave me a price and they could have told me a different price. I’m very disappointed in the centerpiece i received and how they handled the situation. The picture is a few days later when the flowers had opened, the colors should have been pink, hot pink, light pink, and some eucalyptus for a little added greenery. The red flowers are almost an orange red and there isn’t a variety of pinks and there is a purple flower in there.

2021-11-24Akville is a creative genius! My flowers were gorgeous at both my weddings (small covid and large tent wedding) and I’m so happy I went with her! I love her whimsical and romantic style. She tries to use local flowers when possible but don’t be fooled, the arrangements are interesting and intricate, with flowers you may have never seen before! Aasad kept everything organized and was very communicative anytime I had a question or change. Highly recommend Floras Avenue for any flower needs!

I was a bit intimidated because the store front is always so gorgeous, but the owner could not have been more accommodating and willing to work in any budget. 2022-09-03I ran (literally) into Flora’s Avenue today on a whim to see if I could get a bouquet for two strangers who were getting engaged in about 15 minutes from the time I arrived. I had no idea what type of flowers the couple liked or anything about them, so I was not helpful at all. Not only were the staff accommodating, friendly, and helpful, they made a beautiful bouquet that the couple loved. I couldn’t recommend them more, especially for taking the time to accommodate the chaos of my morning with such kindness.

2019-10-18Akvile of Floras Avenue is not your typical LI Florist. She is a true artist and visionary. Having met with a few other florists who blatantly told me my vision was “not possible”, I was feeling like I would never find a florist who could work with my vision. I wanted to do a lot of greenery and succulents, and few actual flowers. I wanted an Enchanted Forest wedding. Akvile loved every aspect of what I wanted and together we crafted the wedding of my dreams. Even our venues staff said out of all the weddings that have hosted there, my centerpieces and florals were the most beautiful and unique they had ever seen. Akvile provided great communication and accommodated the many, many changes I had to make along the way without giving me any push back, just always so flexible and accomodating, and never missing a thing. She stayed within our budget while still offering me everything I wanted. Flowers were delivered on time and in perfect condition, and lasted all day. My bridal bouquet took my breath away! I cried when I saw it! Everything was just beyond stunning and beautiful, simply magical. I highly recommend Floras Avenue!! Thank you Akvile for everything!
